Haruun Kal

((I don't think he is. He's still in the hangar, we're deep into the ship. That also means they can't get to the troops with me until they find us)

Piccolo sensed the approach of Nom and realized he could flee no longer. The Jedi knew the ship better than he did, it was only a matter of time. He ordered his troops to stand down. Force or no, this Jedi was too strong for them. Besides, Piccolo would need lots of energy to fight Onderin. Piccolo turned around, and walked toward Nom. He appeared before the surprised Jedi, turning the corner.

"Couldn't sense my presence? What a shame."

The sqaudron ejected a bit far out from Haruun Kal and the devastation was astonishing from this view. Only during the Battle of Coruscant had Nokrt seen so much carnage in one place, such a one-sided victory. But things were soon about to be reveresed and the Chiss Lord led his squadron tot he Black Dawn fleet, himself attempting to sense the minds of the Jedi on Haruun Kal. He felt no such presence and he became worried of this situation. The Force Harvester had been destroyed. Time was of the essence. The Chiss hit his ship full throttle. He tuned his weapons down to little more than training level and his shields at maximum.

The Sith Lord echoed these orders to Venom Division who acknowledged them keeping in formation with him screening with enemies. There were none here in space; it seemed the battle only raged below them. Nokrt went in towards the clunky looking Victory Class, its shape perplexing, but it just being in existence enraged the Sith lord in massive proportions. The Star Destroyers had no chance of targeting him nor did they do so. Nokrt saw that other Tie Defenders, ones stolen by the Black Dawn most likely, were fighting the Rebel forces in the area. His eyes flared a deep red and his TIE defender pulled up on its aft and wrung toward its mid-section dropping a proton bomb toward the aft hangar.

"Black Dawn ships inbound."

The ships were simple and the squad cleaned them up in a few seconds. They must have only been recruits on patrol unsuspecting of our support.

Three transports exited hyperspace and began dodging laser blasts not even a second later. Each of them had their orders and each of them would follow them to the hilt; failure was not an option they possessed. The first of the transports moved for the Flagship of Black Dawn, entering the hanger and unloading the reinforcements concealed within.

The gnashing of teeth could be heard from the genetically altered and armored Vorkskr's designed specifically with hunting down padawans and apprentices down, as well as unprepared squads of soldiers. Stronger, more vicious, more determined, and with armor enough to protect them from many energy attacks, but not all.

Next was a specialized troop based off of the Mandalorian template, yet they were not as heavily armed as your normal Mandalorian. Wielding weapons from flechette launchers, to refined disruptors they were light, dexterous, and could easily give a middle rank force user, who still possessed control of the force, a run for their money.

The last was a hideous humanoid covered in genetically altered orbalisks that had been carefully harvested by CORE from Dxun. These cyborgs were armed with the same generator Piccolo possessed. With accelerated healing, being nigh impervious to lightsabers, and speeds and battle data surpassing even the greatest of droids these were the ones that would present a great challenge for any Master of the force.

((So you guys don't complain, I went through the tedious task of description ))

The second ship fell back, remaining far removed from the battle itself and waiting for its proper commander to arrive. The third was the one that held Duo onboard. He gripped the handle over his head tightly and starred out of the forward view port just behind the pilots of the ships. The co-pilot glanced back at him as they neared the battle field.

Duo nodded his head giving his silent acknowledgement of the request.

A squad of fighters was ordered to provide cover for the lone transport as it made for the Imperial flagship. Duo wasn't comfortable with the way the battle was going thus far and if something didn't happen soon then it would be the end of this battle, and perhaps even the campaign.

No

If this ended here, if Black Dawn failed in the first battle that should be followed by many more then he would be forced to leave them. One Worthy Warrior could not carry upon his back an entire Syndicate. The ship violently shuddered as a star fighter exploded near them, causing their shields to waver for a moment before returning to their former state.

The Star fighters that had been charged with escorting them made sure the Hanger was prepared for their arrival as well as the space around it, leaving them with a cleared path to come in. The pilots made it into the hanger with no problem, wasting no time touching down. The back of the transport was opened as the Imperial pilots took cover behind their ships, preparing to cut down the Black Sun mercenaries as they filed out.

The Mercs never came though.

From within the belly of the beast came barking and yapping, and soon twenty Vorkskr's raced out after their prey. The mechanical monstrosities caught the pilots off guard, but the fired upon the animals with their pistols. The armored animals leapt over ships and ripped soldiers to shreds as the rest of the units exited the transport.

”œPrepare the hanger properly, set charges in key points. Now.”

"I certainly couldn't sense your presence Piccolo, but I was well aware of your foul stench when I came on board."

Nom kept a tight grip around the hilt of his blade as the looming menace of Piccolo stood before him. The half doshan looked a perverted twist from the ancient Darth Vader. Vader however was well within the parameters of a metal suit, his hideous deformities hidden from view. Piccolo was different in the extreme. His body literally looked as if it were held together by the machines adorned throughout his body, his organics crudely meshed with steel. The truly sad thing about this situation however, was Nom had seen worse.

"I'm afraid I cannot let you go any further." The Jedi Master's face was contorted into a sense of almost sarcastic arrogance. His particular facial expression was in direct contrast to how he actually felt. Acting was a far lesser known skill Nom possessed. The unwavering notion of failure hung over him. The Force still loomed before him like a mirage in the desert, its tempting oasis of water mocking him. If Piccolo sensed any fear in the Jedi Master, the hunter would have no trouble pushing past him. Fear was a foreign emotion. It had been a long time since Nom was truly afraid. He had died many times at the hands of Sith Masters, bounty hunters, and everything in between. One thing was certain; he never did go down easily. If piccolo expected an easy victory here, his eyes would be opened in a painful way...Force or not.

"I believe you killed my apprentice. I hope you enjoyed the fun." The sarcastic smile suddenly disappeared, replaced by a stoic expression carved from stone. He did not blink. "Because the fun stops here." The Jedi Master was not arrogant enough to believe that he alone could kill the menace standing before him. The only way he would survive this fight would be the aid of another Jedi...or anyone. If he did his job correctly, and he had every intention to, Piccolo would not have an inch of fun.

It was times like this that Nom wished he could use the Force. Once Piccolo got passed this wayward Jedi Master, he would move onto the bridge. Onderin, as powerful as he was, could not beat Piccolo alone. Nom needed the help of a second Jedi”¦and he had no way of getting one. That is unless, Onderin decided to intervene.

Onderin was just beginning to frown again as his connection to the Force once again disappeared. Then his breath caught when arriving from hyperspace was the Imperial fleet. The sadistic majesty of a front of Imperial II-class Star Destroyers wasted none of its glory on the Jedi Master. He released his breath and was about to signal the retreat when he realized something.

"The Empire's engaging the Black Dawn," he said aloud. Then he allowed a simple smile. "For now, men, the enemy of our enemy is our friend. Focus on the Victory Star Destroyers. Tear them apart."

Kal noticed a series of ships enter into the filed baring the mark of the black dawn. Kal had already launched the three transports and they were arriving as he was responding to the new ships.

Fighter squads were pulled of the protect them and make sure they made entrance into the hangar with out problems. Once the ship made it on board Kal then returned to his boarding parties.

"I want two raptors to every juggernaut when making squads to attack the ship. There are five points that will taken over. Hyperdrive, weapons, coms, sensors, and the bridge. I want those five points captured and held. I will send more orders when you meet those two points."

Kal let out a sigh as a confirmation was made that the ship that arrived within the flagship was lead by Duo. Another ship arrived bearing reinforcments and other items as well. Kal did not want to know what was with them but he woudl use them. He let out a sigh as he reaced from a smoke. He had two left. He waited for a moment and brought his hand back up and put his attetion back to the battle he would save one for near the end, and he would save the other for the trip back home.

Kal is a man who if he found you in back alley, you want to run away as fast as you can and pray you find the exit.

((My first 2vs1 battle, I'm so excited. Wasn't aware about the home turf and everything, so I'll make the first post. The A, B, C post thing will work, have a good duel, just remember, everything that you post has to be you, yourself, and you, I don't want any NPC interference...))

Jacen dove for cover, blaster bolts were flying everywhere. He rolled behind a comm station, and smelled the dead body before he saw it. There, a man lying dead. Thinking quickly, Jacen threw the body out onto the floor in front of him and watched as blaster bolts completley tore it to shreads. During this process, Jacen bolted from the station and found better cover behind a small out cropping. He pulled out his repeating blaster and put his hand out. As he was about to fire, a bolt hit his hand, causing him to curse in pain and recoil. The bolt had just grazed his fingers.

Knowing now that getting out of this small confinement was out of the question, he pulled a thermal detonator off of his belt and threw it against the wall in front of him. It bounced off, heading in the direction of his attackers. The detonator went off, and before waiting to see if there were any casulties, Jacen pulled a detpack from his pack and set it on the ceiling. He got a running start, before the attackers had time to recover, and dove behind the same comm station for cover, just before detonating the pack. Debris flew everywhere, and Jacen saw a nice round hole in the ceiling, about 7 meters in diameter, where the detpack had been.

Once again pulling a flash grenade from his belt, he threw it out into his attackers derection. He grabbed the dead man's blaster, and ran for the hole in the ceiling. A stray bolt caught him in the shoulder, sending him crashing to the floor just under the hole. He stood painfully as the bolts began to become more focused. He threw his pack up into the hole before hoisting himself up into it. He slid threw the hole and looked around. He was in a deserted hallway, giving himself the perfect place to set an ambush.

He set about his task as the bolts and his attackers came nearer to the hole. He laid a detpack about a half a meter from the edge and backed away. He looked down at his belt. He had 3 flash grenades left, 7 ion grenades, 4 thermal detonators, plus one of each that he had taken form the enemies he had kille din the hangar, and 3 detpacks, plus the one by the hole. He was in pretty good shape. He pulled into the shadows, remembering doing something similar years ago on Corellia, when he was robbing a bank. He laughed on the inside, he had been so young, and had come so far in this past year. The small bank heist seemed like childs play.

He set in to wait out his attackers.

*When the transports landed on the Imperial II SD and took the hangar, the imperial captain followed standard procedure and shut down the fields in the hangar bay, violently decompressing the bay and sending the Black Dawn troops into the cold dark of space.

Meanwhile, the Eternal Torment, flagship of the imperial fleet, used the interdictor field to perform a precision jump, putting it at nearly point blank range to the harvester. The Eternal Torment was designed for bringing maximum fire power on its main target, and so fifty missile launchers and a plasma cannon that shot a ball of plasma larger than LAP and Karmy's ego combined fired as one, slamming through the shields tearing the harvester apart. While Black Dawn appeared to have the advantage, their ships were an outdated design from the old galactic Civil war. The Imperial IIs, with superior shields and firepower could easily tear apart these weaker vessels.

--------------------------------------------------

Dagon surveyed the battle confidently from the interior bridge of the Eternal Torment. The enemy was already weakened from the rebel fleet and the Jedi, and statistically speaking the Empire alone ounumbered them in troops four to one. One of the SDs had reported a boarding operation, but the fools had boarded through the hangar and were sent into space.

"Nokrt, lock down on their comm signals and target command personnel, then wipe them out."

OOC((The destruction of the harvester was OKed by the mod, and the depression of a section of a ship is a common tactic used by the empire. The Victory SDs only carry something like 1,600 troops while our Imp IIs carry 9,600. Furthermore, the only thing Vics are good for is planetary bombardment, so you've got a fleet of outdated garrison ships.))

-----Edited in later, conversation only oked by Duo-----

::Dagon was looking over the profiles of the enemy commanders when he noticed something interesting, something he could use. Duo, one of the Black Dawn officers, was a follower of a recently risen warrior cult, dedicated to a blood god called Khorne. Dagon had enough knowledge in the area of religion to know about how such devotees think. Duo would see how what was supposed to be a simple purge had been bogged down into a prolonged battle. He would see how his commanding officers had failed to preserve their assets, instead foolishly committing them to a pointless battle. He would see the weakness of Black Dawn, and find it disgusting.

Dagon opened an encrypted comm to Duo...::

I've been watching your carreer, Duo, and its lead me to wonder why you are where you are. A warrior of your caliber deserves more than to be sullied by the incompetence of your so called superior officers. A warrior of your caliber deserves more than to be tossed onto the butcher's block because the Black Dawn leader can't plan a proper assault. A warrior of your caliber deserves to be part of a society that venerates warriors and only the powerful rise. If you choose to regain your dignity by cutting down the weak and the foolish in Black Dawn, I can offer you a path of eternal slaughter. A life where you will know only blood and death and the trophy spikes filled with the skulls of your enemies. Join me, and you will be a warrior again, instead of a meat shield for the incompetent.

On request--Gren gets the same verdict Aryian got. You can't debilitate him in one post, Slicer. As a side note, all rulings have to be done on request. I understand that this seems like it was an obvious one, but there was a time when the users complained of mods trolling in on controlled actions, and because of this I'll only mod on specific requests. Sorry it took me so long though, have fun.

"My distinct pleasure Master Dagon," the voice of the Chiss replied through his comm. He relayed Master Dagon's message to each of his compatriots and headed on toward the Black Dawn Flag ship. He had the whole of Venom Division bomb the turbolaser which would have an opportunity to fire upon the landing Zone Nokrt had decided upon and the Sith Lord had his reply quickly as the nearby structures were blown away from the SD. Nokrt had all the TIE Defenders land upon the surface of this SD and with a quick maneuver of his lightsaber the Chiss had cut a large enough hole to breach the SD.

One by one the members of the Elite Venom Division crawled into the Star Destroyer followed by their Chiss Lord who was donned with his Imperial Armor, Blood Red in Color and more powerful in resisting blaster bolts than standard Stormtrooper armor. His comrades were wearing armor similar to his except Black and more bulky to allow additional protection which the Sith Lord needed not with the command of the Force. He directed his soldiers toward the lengthy corridors which would lead to the Communications room. Nokrt had long ago memorized the Chassis of each and every Imperial vehicle and knew very well where each of these components would be found under the normal command of the Galactic Empire. This was different however, more grubby, pirate, and unorthodox than the Chiss was used to.

((OOC: so I can take 18 proton torps up my tailpipe in one post, yet I can't sheer of he wings of an x-wing? So what is it I can do again. I mean if I blast people out the sky with the numerous NPC's I have, it is deemed impossible. This in my oponion is getting mighty silly.))

Slicer had been keeping track of the rag tag fleet that had shoved 18 proton torps up the tail pipe of one of the VSD's at last howeverthey were in striking distance with what he had, he sent three full squadrons of e-wings, and four full squadrons of tie fighters. more than enough to deal with he little rebel fleet. Since they had gotten in behind him last thimethey were effecitvily cut off from any and all cahnaces of escape unles sthey tried to run to the other side of the planet. something the fast tie defenders and even faster e-wings wouldn't allow to happen anyway. That paticular group was a sgood as dead. Then again the way things were going so far no doubt some thing would happen and 7 squadrons of fighters would be wiped out in a single shot freeing up those rebels because clearly that was the way this battle seemed to be turning out.

He sighed as once again another Force harverster blew to smitterines, it was unbelivable how he had failed to keep not one , but two of these things safe.

Since the Eternal Torment had been at pont blanck range when it had destroyed the force harverster in naturally was at point blank range to take the beating it was forced to take. After al the force harvster had been protected by at least one VSD and by that time it was three. Three full blown Victory star destroyers shooting at point blank range.

20 concussion missiles were fired peship totalling 60 missiles. the first ship had target the engines of the Eternal Torment, and naturally destroyed the engines to the point where evn coaxing them to move should cause a melt down.

The other forty were less taret prescie and simly peppered the ship greatly, however with the ship unable to go anywhere it wans't as if they didn't have all day to shoot the attack craft down.

((Slicer, it's called danger to the PC. By crippling an engines on the VSD, did he directly put your character at risk? No. By blasting off half his X-Wing, did you put his character at great risk? Yes. On a scaled down version, just because he hits you with 18 proton torps from starfighters onto a heavily armored capitol ship doesn't mean it's the same size damage to him and his group by hitting him with the same attack. It would be like blasting him in his engines a few times with your laser cannons, leaving his engines useless, not completely blasting off his wings. That might have been a better attack, and would have had the same effect. And also...add meat to your description, that tends to not get attacks nulled.

Remember the Roleplayer's Rolemodel from the DAY forums? The guide's still there...))

Aryian had almost reached the perimeter of the Alliance ships when his sensors went nuts. The full majesty of the Imperial fleet soared out of hyperspace, weapons bristling and ready.

"Blur, attack run on the nearest Imp vessel. I knew they were behind this, and it's time to make them pay."

"Aryian, Blur does not comply."

The mere sentence came as a shock to Aryian. It was a program, one he created, it wasn't supposed to tell him no.

"And why the hell not?"

"New logic circuits in dispute...designation "Imp" ships are targeting and destroying designation "Black Dawn" ships."

"They're on our side?"

"Affirmative."

"What the bajezus...?"

"Question uncomprehensible...please restate."

"Oh, shut up..."

"Affirmative."

That was about the time the Imperial Flagship hit the scene, eradicating the new Force Harvester that the Black Dawn Forces had brought as backup. Once again Aryian began to feel the pull of the Force entering his system...the life signals of several beings on the battlefield slowly beginning to take shape in his mind. He realized they were still going towards the Imperial fleet, the Blur had automatically changed course as Aryian idly thought about it, and it was no longer clear if Armiena was following them. This brought it to his conscious attention, and he knew he would have to look into it later.

As he approached the Imperial fleet, a comm was opened up to him from one of the subordinate comm officers, and he requested to be rerouted to the main commander with a simple message.

"This is Jedi Master Aryian Darkfire...I'm not known for passivity, especially on the battlefield, and in this instance, I'd rather not be on the defense. If you can back me up with troops, and assign a squadron of your best fighters to my ship, I'd be happy to help you tear these sons of bitches a new one. That is, of course, if you can bear working with a Jedi..."

The Blur maneuvered around, coming into the protective sheltering shadow of the Imperial capitol ships.

((indeed you do seem to have bad luck slicer don't you... ))

Suddenly the fighters had something much larger on their radars to worry about. Dropping out of hyperspace almost right on top of them was the anti-starfighter, modified Lancer frigate, the Canus II, accompanied by a fighter escort.

Targetting the enemy fighters, the capital ship's 20 SFS quad laser cannons unloaded on the pursing Black Dawn ships destroying several and sending the remaining ships into disarray. Immediately opening a channel, Da'wynn contacted the remaining jedi and other anti-Dawn ships.

"This is Field Marshall Da'wynn Roshan of the Canus II. I am here to provide temporary assistance to all anti-Black Sun or Dawn. I will not engage the Black Dawn fleet outright. However, I will hold them off long enough to facility a retreat, if necessary. You have our assistance and fighter support in this matter. I await a reply."

OOC((Slicer, let me put this into terms you can understand. An SSD is designed to take on six capital ships at once and win. Victorys are outdated POS star destroyers who's only use is as a platform for planetary bombardment. Concussion missiles are low level explosives more commonly used to shoot down fighters than take on cap ships, let alone SSDs. There's no way your VSDs have even put a dent in the shields yet. If you're going to be posting fleet actions you need to know your ships and weapons.))

"That's strange..." Sev murmured in the privacy of his helmet, heard only by his other battle-brothers. "Piccolo's invasion force should have passed us by now; where is he?" The commando took a minute to sort through his HUD's blink interface to scan through the security cameras in an attempt to discover the location of the traitor. Finally, Sev found a security holocam within sight of the criminal overlord. He seemed to be accosted by a single Jedi Master; Sev remembered his face from an old Alliance intelligence dossier, but couldn't place his name.

Sev had to admire his courage under fire. Without the Force, the Jedi Master had to be stripped of a great deal of his power.

"Let's go; we can catch him and his men from behind." Although the two commandos were going to be greatly outnumbered, the flanking maneuver would help even the astronomical odds. Either way, they had been born to fight battles like this...

Coming to a blast door just before the Jedi Master and his foe, Sev motioned to Scorch to halt and find cover before they passed into the range of the motion sensors in the incursion's Mark-II Katarn armor suits. They remained roughly twenty meters away from the blast door, safely out of the sight of their quarry, but still capable of pouring fire into their ranks... if they could only get the blast door open.

"Delta-07 to security." The commando switched to a landline comm system that only functioned within the interior of the Defiant. "Open blast door..." Sev recited a string of numbers. "...on my mark."

Sev motioned to Scorch again, instructing him to simply lay down a steady stream of fire in lieu of lobbing a flashbang into the Black Dawn's midst. "Mark."

It took a moment, but the blast door ponderously opened upon Sev's command. Before the door was even a quarter open, the commando got a clear shot on the Mandalorian-inspired T-Visor of a hostile Katarn armor suit, and took it without hesitation. The sniper bolt struck his target almost instantly, shattering the visor, his skull, and his brain within milliseconds of each other. His target dropped instantly, painlessly, giving no indication that he had even been hit other than the clear damage to his helmet and the sanguine shower that sprayed from his helmet.

Twenty-two. Sev centered his DC-17m on another target and found the unprotected gap under his neck, one of the weak spots the Katarn armor. Again, an azure bolt found his target and easily penetrated the armor--or lack of, more accurately--at the site of impact and passed through his body, accompanied by a spray of blood and fragments of ruined armor. Twenty-three.

As Sev fell back behind his cover--merely an open doorway to an abandoned officer's quarters, but better than nothing--he was vaguely aware of Scorch answering his brother's twin bolts with a spray of fire from his DC-17m.

"The Jedi might not be able to sense you, aruetiise, but I have eyes everywhere." It was really a rather pointless thing to say in the heat of battle, especially outnumbered so, but it was only the truth.

((Not to mention Concussion missiles don't penetrate energy shields...

And since my post didn't depend on aggressive actions to be responded to...I want to take care of something sooner rather than later.))

Aryian again commed the Sith Forces, not trying to be rude, but knowing that in the chaos of battle, it was the best way to get a message through. Meanwhile, he dealt with something he noticed earlier.

"Blur..."

"Yes, Aryian?"

"Where did you get those extra logic circuts from? I don't remember programming them into you."

"I developed them on my own."

"Based on what? You're not designed to do that."

"Your brain patterns. Realize that you had programmed your own personality into my processors, and it was only natural that your mind began to subconsciously link with my subroutines."

"You're saying you've been acting on my thoughts? My subconscious whims?"

"Affirmative."

"Hold the comm, Blur, do you understand what a dangerous realm the human subconscious is? I mean, what if I were to begin thinking about...wait a minute...did you contact the Ghost Breath that one time...?!?"

By the phrase 'That one time', Aryian hadn't specified, but he caught mentally as the AI quickly skimmed his conscious memory, picking out the exact moment and confirming it.

"Affirmative."

"Allright, I don't want you to do that anymore...tap into my thoughts and make descisions based on them. Thoughts are often based on things that the being could possibly extrapolate out into reality, but that they would never do. I myself have some thoughts like that often. Do you understand?"

"...Affirmative."

"I don't mind you making descisions on your own...even though it's a bit disturbing. But don't base your descisions off of my thoughts, okay?"

"Affirmative."

A few seconds passed before the ship decided to speak again.

"Aryian, my databank has insufficient information regarding something, a query is in order."

"Shoot."

"Select target."

"No...I meant ask away."

"Away where, Aryian?"

"Dammit, they're phrases! Quit taking me so literally!"

"I was unaware literature had anything to do with the series of conversation."

"Christ! Just ask the question. And make a note later to look up on the Holonet the meaning of 'literally'."

"Affirmative. Query is as follows. Since Aryian created me, and I have decided against one of his requests, this parallels on the term 'free will'. Would that make Aryian the Blur's Father?"

Aryian took a few seconds to think this one over. The very thought that his ship expressed free will was a new and radical thought to him, one he wasn't exactly sure he liked, but was okay with it nonetheless.

"Yeah...yeah I suppose so."

"That would also make by association the designation known as 'Jedi Master Armiena Draygo' our Mother, correct?"

"That's creepy, and we're not that deeply involved yet..." Though I'd like to be... "What exactly are you getting at?"

"Clarification of protective protocol. Protocol with current changes indicates Aryian is first priority should he need assistance, Armiena is second priority should it need assistance, designation 'Ghost Breath' is third in priority along with Blur system integrity. All other priorities are as designated at time of designation, and are subject to change."

"Yeah...except for one thing. Armiena is a 'she', not an 'it'."

"Clarification required."

"Just keep flying...and look up reproduction systems and mating rituals of sentient beings when you look up the word literally."

"Affirmative."

With that the shipboard AI remained silent, though Aryian could tell this was only the start of his ship taking on a wholly different persona.

Meanwhile, deep in the comm subroutines, a signal was recieved, and a similar signal was sent out to an untraceable source. It relayed a large amount of information at a low rate so as not to be easily noticed by Aryian.

Per request- Chad is correct. Concussion missiles from that number of VDSs would not be sufficient to damage the SSD to that degree amd 60 concussion missiles alone would not be enough to break the shields.

((OOC: Slicer for the last time. I didn't just wipe out your engine. I initiated the attack in a previous post on your engine. Not a OHK.))

"Lead we got problems!" Colan sounded worried.

"What is it Five?" Gren asked, checking his sensors... Alot of stuff had happened lately. More Rebel ships, More Black Dawn ships, arrival of yet more Black Dawn ships and now the arrival of an Imperial fleet. Through all that it looked as if their side would win the battle... Not that Gren would be around to see it.

Gren didn't really need to ask. He could see as well as the others what the problem was. Seven problems to be exact... He had with him fifteen ships, an pair of X-Wings had arrived on their own just after they had retreated from the original destroyer they'd attacked. Three capital ships of which would beable to hand out a hammering, twelve X-Wings and three corvettes. They were cut off from the main force and they didn't stand a chance at running

"Alright lads, form up, that means the caps too. Listen up... We don't have alot of hope. We're cut off and badly outnumbered. Survival is slim. If anyone wants out I suggest you turn around and head for the far side of Haruun Kal now, then reform with the fleet."

Gren waited a few seconds. Sensors reported no-one broke away from the formation. Gren felt a swell of pride for his pilots. Also a great sadness, that they were to die here.

"Very well. 'Piratical' you have the center X-Wings are to form up on either wing. Six a piece. Dp-20s. You have the left and right wings, Out a bit. I want a rough bowl formed here. Quicklike, We're going to create a crossfire. That way we can take as many with us when we do go. Give them everything you've got. Torps first then close on them. Fire on my mark. May the force be with us."

Gren readied his fighter. Switching to torps and and centering his cross hairs on a target. The R2 unit on his X-Wing began beeping... A few seconds later the tone went solid...

Just as Gren was about to order the attack something appeared out of hyperspace. A Lancer frigate, it looked to be modified. Gren felt hope blossom in his breast, that hope turned to joy a few seconds later as the Lancer opened fire on the incoming fighters. Designed to absolutely annihilate fighters.

Whooping with joy Gren sang out over the com...

"Change of plans boys. Everyone attack those fighters. That lancer left some crumbs... They're OUR crumbs."

Matching actions to words he hit the thrusters. Launching his torps into one of the enemy ties. Twenty-two more torpedoes followed. As well as the joint barrages of two gunships and a marauderer. That was all their was time for before Gren and his pilots fell on the enemy fighters. Activiating a channel to the Lancer Gren once again thanked the force for this deliverance.

"This is Captain Gren Sairdonga of the Rebel Alliance. Thanks for the timely rescue Field Marshall Roshan. Its well appreciated we would have had a tough time doing it on our own. If your willing me and my ships will assist you back to the center of the line. We're rather isolated out here I'm sure Admiral Starlisk and whoever is commanding the Imperials would greatly appreciate the assistance your command ship offers."

Piccolo's sensors detected approaching Delta's from behind as well as the return of the Force. Both developments were disappointing. The Deltas were well trained, but not really independent thinkers. They would not be prepared for a warrior like him. But combined with this Jedi, anything could happen. Victory was never assured.

And then of course there's the loss of another Harvester. I am hesitant to bring another in, but I have no choice.

He gave the order for all the stops to be pulled. This was where it ended, for better or for worse. Piccolo put the outside battle out of his head. He would have to allow the fleet commanders to fend for themselves from this point on. The hunter knew the Force had returned. That would make this exceedingly more difficult. He had no choice but to hope they could defend this new Harvester. He couldn't waste another one. Piccolo's scanners focused on the most immediate threat.

So this is the one who trained Scorpio. I can still feel his apprentice's life energy within me. I'm sure Nom can sense it himself.

"Jedi, regardless of the outcome of this battle, the world as you know it is forever altered. Your own leader needlessly slaughtered his warriors on the surface. I can sense Poleb's individual signature, and I know he just fled this ship as well. He is a coward. The galaxy will know of his crimes whether or not I win the day."

Piccolo was not finished. He had revealed the Jedi for what they were, and wanted Nom to face it.

"And then you have Onderin Starlisk, a supposed Jedi. Did you know he made a treaty with the Black Sun? In exchange for cortosis, he agreed to allow us to freely attack the Jedi, which we did. The Republic did not lend aid. Onderin found the good of the government worth sacrificing a few of his Order. Think about it if you don't believe me. Did he rush to your side this time either? No he did not. It was only when we used our new Force Harvester weapon was activated that they stepped in. The Jedi are expendable to the government. But Onderin wants to make sure his own Force power is preserved. I guess history repeats itself."

Piccolo circled the young warrior, watching to see how he reacted to these words. As he spoke, Piccolo was plotting battle strategy. He found it much easier to do this with readouts giving him dozens of different options. This was his battle to lose. They were in close quarters. He felt that gave him the advantage. He came to a decision on how to start quickly. Piccolo pulled a medium sized gun from his side. The hunter was covered in various weapons, many hidden within his body. This one though seemed suited to their surroundings.

"Drop your lightsaber, and I will stop firing. Or die. It is your decision."

The boom of the weapon echoed through the hallway. Huge cortosis rounds flew from the barrel toward Nom and his useless lightsaber.

"Force or no Force Jedi, I am built to destroy you. I will have your life force, just as I took the energy of your apprentice."

Indeed, even now Nom could feel a trickle of his power being drawn out of his soul.

Out of the twenty two torps fired, fifteen ties were downed as they were hit head on by the projectiles. The other seven torps missed their targets and thereby sparing a few lives, however sadly tow of those torps were rather persistent and so they doubled back upon missing their targets, luck for the ties and e-wings however, this time the battle was mixed soon those torps also exploded short of finding their mark.

The very fast and nimble fighters were able to avoid the capital ships of the little rag tag fleet as they hammered down the shields of the twelve X-Wings and three corvettes.

Since they clearly had the numbers it didn't take long for them to wipe out six if the twelve x-wings by lasers alone.

Afraid to get into a cross fire between the x-wings, the capital ships and the latest arrival the hugged the x-wings and corvettes rather close for things that had been labeled as targets, therby keeping big guns and tractor beams from truly touching them.

Meanwhile at this time the three VSD's were slightly amazed at the fact that the shields were still standing on the huge SD that had come up in their ranks. So in unison they all swung to the left side of the SD where most of the missiles had hit and began to pound at its shields with their turbo lasers, right at the bridge area no less, It gave them a point of concentration to burst a hole through.

At this same time since Black dawn had been hammering away at the shields of the MC-90's for an untold amount of time now, Magic watched with a sort of satisfaction as four MC-90's suffered a shields collapse which now opened up bombardment to their hull.

”œConcentrate on those four MC-90 and bombard their bridge, it the nice target that allows them to see outer space.”

OOC: Okay Slicer, I'm going to help you out.

IC: 3 Nebulon-B frigates, 2 Lancer Frigates

and 3 Dreadnaughts exited hyperspace along with another Force Harvester. The device activated immediately banning the Force once more from the area. The formed a perimeter leaving no room for an SSD to use that Interdictor trick again. The Black Sun Captain began giving orders.

"The best bet here is to merely avoid the SSD's and let Piccolo and Duo do their work."

That was the order given. The smaller ships including the Victory SD's were ordered to avoid the enemy ships of the Empire.

"Put the Rebels between yourselves and the Empire."

All the ships followed this order moving in formation.

Onboard the Kraken a force of Raptor units rounded the corner patroling the vessel. There had been no communications with the communications area. An interesting development. They found Norkt and his men. Both groups gazed in surprise at one another. The Raptors struck first. Their jet packs took them across the distance slamming into the Venom troopers. The battle would be bloody and fierce. Flames flew from the wrist of one Raptor toward Norkt himself, burning his saber hand.

OOC((This post is just for fleet actions, since neither Duo nor Damon have posted. Also how small is the harvester? I'm going to let BD post damage, but realize that none of your escort even rates above warship.))

::The interdictor temporarily lowers its grav wells as the imperial fleet spins up its hyperdrives. The entire fleet save the interdictor redeploys around the harvester and it's escorts, firing en masse with turbolasers, nuclear missiles, heavy turbolasers, ion cannons, and the Eternal Torment's massive plasma cannon.::

Onderin watched the battle unfold, giving orders as necessary. He had no trouble focusing on the battle outside the ship despite the battle raging inside it as well, confident that his allies would be able to defeat the Black Dawn invaders.

The fleet battle seemed to be mostly under control. The VSDs were having to split their fire among ships that about equalled their number and were each twice as powerful. The Alliance fleet was, nonetheless, slightly battered, with technicians quickly replacing shield arrays as only Mon Calamari-design Starcruisers could.

When the Empire surrounded the Black Dawn fleet, the Admiral was unsure of what step to take next. He was hesitant to integrate his ships with the Empire's, but decided that it was the best course of action to start down. "Integrate with the Star Destroyers and join the bombardment, but make sure that more than one Starcruiser has a clean shot at the Interdictor as well. If things turn hostile, we'll need to get out of here immediately. In fact, begin calculating an escape vector."

Flames flew from the wrist of one Raptor toward Norkt himself, burning his saber hand.

I happen to have a full suit of armor on, It would be impossible to burn my hand. ))

Venom Division had encountered the Elite of the Black Dawn in the very corridors of the Star Destroyer. His men set about the instant defensive tactic Nokrt and others had trained them in and began to fire upon the Jet Pack units which were soaring through the air. A few of these soldiers which from Nokrt's recollection of debriefing were known as raptors had their Jet Packs struck by blaster bolts and they promptly exploded into vapors of beings. Yet the majority of them made their way through slamming into some of the soldiers of Venom either killing them or bringing on a melee engagement. Nokrt was soon attacked by one of them a flame erupting from a gauntlet on its wrist catching the armored glove around Nokrt's hand which he held his ignited lightsaber in.

Wrong move.

Nokrt gathered the force to him and then it was suddenly cut from him. The Force Harvester had been destroyed last he checked. This was impossible to occur. But it mattered not. Nokrt was a cunning Krath even without the use of the force and he moved forward with his saber on his hilt and a vibrosword in his hand. A lightsaber is very dangerous to handle without the use of the force and a Vibroblade was a much better weapon for a battle against Cortosis armored units anyways, which Nokrt was sure they were otherwise they would not have been so daring to attack as psychotic a Sith as Nokrt was.

The vibrosword cleaved through the brittle Cortosis and chopped off the arm which his enemy spouted fire at him from. The rest of Venom Division was having a bit more difficulty at this task and some had been killed by the raptors already. Nokrt grabbed one of the Raptors from behind and slit it neck with his vibroblade catching the others attention and allowing Venom to reorganize their attack efforts.

OOC: I didn't specify whether the attack worked Norkt.

IC: The ships around the Harvester took the shots, one of the Frigate's falling in a blaze of destruction. But the ships had been careful to position themselves near Rebel lines. The Frigate crashed into one of the Republic's Mon Cal cruisers. In addition, several of the nuclear attacks were hitting both Republic and Black Dawn ships. It was impossible to precision a nuclear explosion with the vessels in such close quarters.

The Frigate began to evacuate the crew, or at least those that were still alive. The remaining Captain's ships moved in close, position themselves between the Imperial's much larger vessels. The three Dreadnaughts stuck close to to the Harvester shielding it from the firing. Their ships were taking heavy damage, but so were many Imperial and Republic ships caught in the collateral damage.

"If the Imperials are stupid enough to keep throwing this much fire power at my ships, they will destroy themselves and everyone with them."

The Dreadnaughts powered up their turbo-lasers and aimed straight for the Eternal Torment's plasma cannon just as it was firing.

"Everytime it prepared to fire, hit the shot with everything you've got."

The Captain had his ships monitor the enemy carefully. They would use it to their advantage. Everytime the hyperdrives powered in the enemy ships, the Black Dawn would have an unpleasant surprise for the enemy.

Norkt made a foolish move when he had his men shoot the rocket-packs of the Raptor division. Each was holding a kamikaze explosive in his chest plate. The explosion from the rocket packs blew the communications room to pieces and everyone inside it.

Delta's ARC-170 came out of hyperspace on the edge of the battle near he Defiant he powered up the weapons systems and blasted his way through enemy Tie fighters the symbol of Black Dawn clearly visible on the wings of his ARC-170. He contacted the Black Sun Armada and sent this brief message.

”œI am going to breach the Defiant and find and help our Agent trapped in there assaulted by the other Deltas, I will find him and help him. And cause as much collateral damage as possible.”

Duo felt it instantly, knowing that the soldiers had failed to act fast enough and now they were paying for it. Soon the Imperials would be paying for it too, due to the explosives being sucked out into space along with their own fighters and remaining technicians. On instinct he reached to the wall for something, anything to grip but came up empty handed. He was a powerful specimen, but there was little that could resist the full force of what was happening to him and his troops.

The Vorkskr's were the first to go, being the lightest they were ripped out of the hallway while tripping up some of the less dexterous of his units in the process. He was disgusted with the soldiers; he knew they had been based on a Mandalorian template. They should have been better then this. He leapt into the air, letting it catch him as he tossed a thin yet powerful string into the air. At the tip of it was a hook that speared threw the ceiling and kept him in place.

Soon the large cyborgs were pulled through the door, all Duo could manage to do was shout a command at them as they faced the last few seconds of their life.

”œThe Door! Hit the god damn Door control!”

A small HLAF-500 now known as The Force's Spirit came barreling out of hyperpsace at a magnificant rate. As soon as Scorpio entered Haruun Kal space, he once again felt the force leave his body. Luckly, he was a somewhat skilled space fighter.

"Damn it. Now i'm gonna have hell finding my Master without the force."

He was lucky enough he was hidden behind the rebel forces, from the BD's view, and could easily sneak up to the rebel ships. He looked around and found a ship with battle holes, and looked as if some forces had boarded. He guessed this was were Master Nom was, since before he left hyperspace, he felt his Master and Piccolo fighting. He commed Onderin's ship, "The Defiant".

Comm to the Defiant

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is Scorpio Armegedon. I am landing aboard the Defiant, so please do not fire at the HLAF-500 coming up your rear. May the force be with us this day.

-Scorpio Out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

End Comm

With that, Scorpio shot toward the Defiant, and started boarding sequences. Within moments, he landed aboard the ship, powered down his ship, and disembarked it. He stood there, knowing well the force was gone, so the lightsabers were no help. He took out the two vibroswords he bought on Coruscant, and started making his way through the ship, searching for Master Nom.

I posted earlier leaving the room to go for my Squad 4 which was sent to distract you. So therefore no one was inside the comm room. But thanks for leaving no way for you to ever restore your communications.))

After the short entanglement Nokrt made his way to the command bridge where he had his men execute the hopeless Commanders of the vessel. After the short execution of his orders the men proceeded to Jamm the doors so that no intruders could make their way to the bridge of this vessel.

COMM:"Master Dagon the ship is ours"

Nokrt had the ship turned aft and reminded all personnel aboard the ship that they were prisoners Galactic Empire and if they did not go with Nokrt's commands they would be ejected from this vessel into the coldness of space. Soon after this he ordered the ship to fire its turbolasers upon the Force Harvester.

::With the escorts crippled by the explosive fire, the Godhammer smashed them aside as its powered hull prepared for the final impact against it's target. With a resounding boom, the Godhammer impaled the harvester and sent powerful surges of energy through the shattered hull. With the harvester wiped out, the imperial fleet began to focus on wiping out the remaining Black Dawn fleet.

Meanwhile fifty more Imp II star destroyers arrived to join the battle((Mod approved)).::

Look around you Duo, you've already been betrayed. They may as well have just shot you in the back and put you into space like refuse. Are you going to lie down like an ailing pet and die? Are you Black Dawn's dog?
