Background:

Born and raised on Toprawa Gren was raised in the fiercely Martial Traditions of the Antarian Rangers. Praised as an up and coming Ranger he was a good student in all forms from a young age though he had a special connection with the hand-to-hand combat forms and explosives. At the age of 18 he left the Rangers to join the Rebel Alliance. After serving for two years he was promoted to Captain where he ran many special ops missions and fought in many battles as the Wing Leader of a X-Wing unit. The greatest moment for his career as an Alliance Officer was the Battle of Haruun Kal where his outstanding leadership got him promoted to Commander.... Also because he was the only surviving Alliance Officer of the battle. He was also instrumental in the forging of the Alliance-Empire 'ceasefire' and opening relations with the Thorpe Corporation.

It was after this battle that he gave the Alliance one of its greatest medical finds. Captured nanites... 'Given' to him by a SEED leader in a fight where Gren nearly lost his life... By the age of twenty-eight he was one of the Alliances best officers frequently running missions and involved in the training of new recruits for special operations missions. During one of which a Jedi informed him of his force sensitivity... The galaxy had taken a big step for the Alliance officer...

It wasn't to last long as Gren was soon ordered onto a more challenging mission. An Alliance task force was sent to Dubrillion to end the Black Sun's criminal way... Though it failed in many ways... Partly due to Gren's diplomatic skills it led to a million credit bounty on his head... To which he began plotting to find a way through. Before he could put any plans into full action Gren was once again called away. This time to Csilla where he would participate in the largest battle between the Empire and the Alliance since he joined the Alliance so long ago. The battle ended in a victory for the Alliance. Another victory that Gren was instrumental in creating.

On his return to Gala the young Alliance Officer received a call for aid from a survivor of the Hapan Royal Family Massacre. Suspecting a trap Gren had a clone of himself made, with that done he immediately embarked on a lone mission to find a survivor of the Hapes Royal Family. The mission gleaned almost immediate results as a datachip containing a vast array of intelligence on Phillep and many Imperial Operations was sent to the Alliance. But it also led to Gren's disappearance on the mystery planet of Vjun.

Some time later a young man awakens in a bed. No idea who he is or how he got their. His memories gone the man wandered around the galaxy for a while. Finally ending up on Coruscant where some of his former SpecOps squadron ran across him and grabbed him before some Imperial Stormtroopers could arrest him. Running into his old friends many of Gren's early memories of the Alliance returned. Though he remembered nothing of his life before the Alliance.

Taking him to a small Alliance outpost they told him who he was. Seeing as Gren knew absolutely nothing about his previous life they were all greatly surprised when he still turned out to be a formidable pilot. Demonstrated at the Battle of Mechis III where the arrival of his squadron helped to turn the tide of the battle against the Empire. Boarding an Alliance Cruiser he ran face to face with a blast from the past. The one time Leader of SEED. Jidai Geki. His memories of this evil being returning in a blast Gren leapt straight to the attack. Driving the insane Imperial back. But before either could strike a killing blow an ancient and malevolent evil returned to the galaxy.

The Arach'tar announced their presence by destroying the Corellian System. Resulting in the deaths of billions. They also attacked the fleets at Mechis III. Gren escaped rallying survivors and getting them to safety. After he rallied the survivors Gren travelled to the Imperial Fortress and met with the surviving leaders. Running into Admiral Starlisk even more of Gren's memories returned. Enough for him to return to active duty. The next few months were spent in researching weapons for war against the Arach'tar and organising a treaty between the major Galactic Factions. A treaty to take the battle to the Arach'tar. The battle happened two weeks later at the planet Ilum. For Gren it ended nearly instantly. As the Arach'tar activated a weapon capable of killing all force users in the system. Waking up sometime later back on Gala, Gren was laid low with some sort of unknown damage to his body. Scarcely alive he was constantly racked by pain. No-one knew what was wrong. But something was definitely missing. Gren proved instrumental in forging a treaty between the New Republic and the Empire and fought out the remainder of the war against the Arach'tar providing instrumental support in the joint Republic/Imperial Alliance to defeat the threat. Participating in several engagements and using his skills as a superior ground commander to help the Galactic Coalition secure victory over the great invader. His greatest contribution was perhaps the fleet action at Gromas. Whilst he fought the battle out from the cockpit of his E-Wing he had a unique view of the battle and co-ordinated and escorted the successful boarding of the Arach'tar flagship the result of which was the death of Avatar Ikera and the retreat of the Arach'tar. Another point on that particular battle was his status as the only surviving Alliance Officer. Leaving it to him to co-ordinate the mop-up and withdrawal of Alliance Forces. An action he pulled off even though he still suffered from severe memory loss and being cut off from the force.

After the war the New Republic and the Empire parted ways. Signing a ground breaking treaty of separation. Gren believing the hard fights over finally acknowledged his burgeoning talent with the force and started training as a padawan under his long time Commander, Onderin Starlisk. This training was to be short lived as the planet of Manaan was inflicted by a horrendous fate. Ordered to the planet with a sizeable strike force and the aide of Onderin's other apprentice the planet was found frozen under a night cloak and a Star Destroyer found buried far beneath the ice. At this point things became hazy. Gren scarcely remembered the negotiated surrender that followed nor the return to Gala. His only coherent memory since the trip down to the Cryo-Hydra was waking with a start, his surroundings unfamiliar the medical staff unknown a migraine on the verge of shattering his suddenly frail reality.

It didn't take him long to adjust to being awake once more. With the help of his friends he readjusted into life amongst the walking and even picked up a new droid named whom he named Mother. The Droid (A SD-X series Stealth Battledroid) was equiped with an AI. Capable of learning and understanding anything Gren put before it. It quickly adapted to him and soon was a counterpoint and somewhat entertaining version of Gren himself. Whilst this was occurring the Republic and the Empire finally agreed to a lasting peace treaty that saw the mering of the two factions. This meant that as a General, Gren was no longer needed. Now bereft of the only family and home he'd had for twelve years the man had to decide what do to next. Finish his training to become Jedi? Perhaps. It had its merits. But before he could decide his old base on Gala was attacked by a once Alliance recruit named Apophenian Mortise. Now Gren poured all his effort and energy into finding this creature and bringing it to justice.

Justice did finally catch Mortise. On the Twi'lekian homeworld Ryloth after a long tiring investigation Gren, with the help of the Arkanian CoreSec agent Cas Holloway finally tracked down Apophenian Mortise. Wiring Mortise's ship to blow and tracking the Thisspiasian to a bar where he was meeting with an unknown individual. Using a co-ordinated strike the Hunter team took down the bar and captured Mortise, his companion. Already gone but kept under close eye. It was all for naught though, inexperience at dealing with the Thisspiasian race led to Cas's downfall when an extra set of arms produced a rather powerful blaster to the chest for the Arkanian. After a brief firefight Mortise escaped the bar, and would have escaped Gren entirely but for the watchers keeping his friend under eye. They spotted Mortise meeting with the Twi'lek and informed Gren who promptly co-ordinated an multi-prong air-strike to annihilate the speeder and kill both Mortise and his companion with no civilian casualties.

On his return to Coruscant after the Hunt Gren heard the news about the recent crime wave and saw first hand how CoreSec was struggling to contain it. An idea occurred to him. One that could possibly lead to solve the Galactic Crimewave problems. He got in touch with the remaining Sentinels and sought out Cadio Sikoat, the Supreme Commander of the Galactic Alliance. After a very brief set of negotiations had established a new organisation. The Shadow Sentinels. A Security Force without jurisdiction, without limits, without superiors, without laws or red tape or courts. They were the judge, they were the jury and they were the executioners. It would be made up of Elite Military Operatives from both sides of the war and any Mercenaries deemed skilled enough to make it through the rather intensive enlistment procedures. That was for all the permanent operators within the SS. The non-permanent crew, men and women Gren enlisted specifically for a job simply had to find Gren and convince him of their value to his cause. Or as it was still early days and his cause hadn't gotten afloat yet he would need to enlist their aid.

The first mission however ended with disaster, an explosion killing the vast majority of the SS operatives. Gren himself was killed, however a team of SS operatives, ex-Republic Scientists and a Grey Jedi banded together to resurrect him. Together they managed to retrieve enough of him that with the assistance of machinery, state-of-the-art medical equipment and a good bit of cash from a secret source they created a new generation of HRD. Gren, human mind spliced with a Super-AI Processing Core to control a machine body capable of amazing feats with some of the most advanced technology on offer installed.

KVC Special Cluster Bombs (Main ship), Tri-laser cannons and proton torpedo launcher fitted for 20 missiles (Fighter portion). . A series of remote controlled buzz droids can be deployed from the freighter of the ship as well. Finally, a special grav well attack can be used to possibly crush small freighters or hurl them away.

Special Features: The CC-SS 1 takes a novel approach, to two classic ships, looking very much like a smaller model YZ-900 CEC light freighter with an oddly shaped head. The ship is a bit slower than most CEC freighters and ships, but makes up for it with its special feature- the "head" at the tip of the ship can break away, essentially being engineered to mimic the functionality of an E-wing fighter. A special blast door and magfield hatch ensures that both parts of the ship. The ship's head is a much sleeker and faster model. While lacking the E-Wing's normal wings, it uses a retractable wing set with special thrusters for added manoeuvrability.

Decoupling the twin ship parts can be done in 15 seconds, though the process of safely reconnecting the ship can take up to 10 minutes time. To aid this a special grav well system is put into place to draw the two components back together, and while not primarily a weapon, woe to any small ship that slides into a 30 meter radius between the detached ship parts when this process starts. Each part can be independently piloted, or run via a slave AI system from the E-wing cockpit of the ship. This special slave system cuts down on the necessity for extra crew to pilot the entire ship and controls a swarm of a dozen buzz droids launchable through modified hangars.

Additionally for the surprise factor, the ship can launch a series of heat-seeking cluster missiles when the cockpit of the ship detaches into a wide burst. These deadly micro-missiles can put medium sized holes in most ship holes- deadly for small fighters and a dangerous problem for larger ships, especially when they home in on ship's engines.

The ship is, as noted a much slower vessel, speed being emphasized on the smaller E-wing component. While that latter is faster, it loses the benefits of the ship's full shields and might be vulnerable in the back where the two ships connect. Per usualy with all CEC ships now, it includes a state of the art hyperdrive and a HIMS anti-grav well system.
