Mechis III

Coming off from the operating table, wires trailed out of the back of his neck. Large red marks traced the circumference of his skull, his surgery complete and now on the recovering end of the modification. He took the lightsaber into his hand and inspected it briefly.

"Good. You have passed your trial, and as such I permit you the rank of Sith Lord; as well as all the rights and privileges entitled to this rank. And, as a graduation gift, you're going to get free brain surgery!"

No sooner than Kakuto had made the declaration had Zad been surrounded by O.R. droids, injected with 6 kinds of tranquilizers and thrown face down onto the very table Kakuto had just gotten off of. Drilling, gnashing, embedding and wiring, quickly Zad was fitted with the newest and best cybernetic interface bus that the Sith could conjure. Not as extreme as what KR had done to himself--having his brain encased in plasteel and modified for a much more comprehensive controller, but plenty for his purposes.

It'd allow him to enter the construct upon its completion, work any nuerolinked weaponry and use the Sith's heavily encrypted internal comming system, making battlefield instructions all the more effective. Were he to die, the implant would burn itself up to erase the secret data inside. Likewise goes for the event of his capture, though it would take a direct command to do so. When Zad awoke, a plug in the back of his neck and a line of drool down the front of his clothes, he was met with the cold digitized voice of Kakuto Ryu in his head, speaking through the new comm.

"You are complete now, Lord. Now go and use the gifts I have given you, lest I decide to take them back. "

"Lawl, will do."

His own cold voice spoke to Ryu through the new comm that had been placed within him. He wasn't overly fond of the plug on the back of his neck, but even still he was a damn fine specimen of a human male. Taking Darex's lightsaber, he headed out towards the Sith temple to help protect it.

It didn't take Marth too long to find the room. It was somewhat difficult considering all the hallways and corridors looked the same. Yet the obvious markings on the door was clear enough. He pushed open the door to reveal a rather drap looking room. It had several weapons, droids and clothes lying about. Yet it was nothing too fancy. It seemed the Sith had the right idea so far. Wasting time on furnishings was something only a fool could muster.

He eyed a set of Sith robes hunched in the cornor. Basic instinct told him to put them on, and he followed. The young Sith hopeful gathered various medpacks and a few blaster pistols just in case. He hadn't a clue what was in store, yet he had a feeling he would need every weapon he could carry.

Kakuto giggled childishly, putting down the pencil he drew his representation of Fynn with.

"Teach him to use propaganda against me..."

Kakuto headed to his ship, which was in the final stages of his repairs. Its wings reattached, only a few calibration tests were left to be completed.

----------------------

Deep in the core of Mechis III a project was in its final stages. Blood soaked laboratories surrounded sadistic looking machines, cybernetic link ups. Many were sacrificed to pioneer the systems--the first hooked up to the system had their entire minds scrambled with feedback.

---------------------

As Marth prepared to exit the room a dozen of the droids that occupied the room swarmed around him, injecting him with tranquilizers and slamming him face down just as they had Zadkiel. When he awoke he became acutely aware of a hard steel plug at the base of his neck, as well as some extraneous pains around it. He could hear the voice of the computer in his mind, coming through a built in Comm system, giving him orders and instructions on how to use his new enhancements.

"Your first test is starts now. Navigate Mechis III down to floor, where a secret lab awaits you. Your intuition will be your guide. The Dark Side tells you where you need to go, and by pulling your information from it will you be able to find our establishment."

-----------------

Kakuto Ryu climbed into his ship and took off for Cardia...

((OOC: Sorry to cut out on you, but the Construct should be up as soon as Robbie post the thread. I'll be available there for your training.))

Rahalin's ears twitched at the discordant blast issuing forth from the cockpit of his spacecraft. He sat down, fuming over so much lost time and saw a bulletin scrolling across the screen that echoed a call soaring through the force from his returned master.

Silently cursing, he ran through an abbreviated start up drill and headed for Carida, snarling impatiently through every parsec of the journey, fingering the handle of the lightsaber given to him by his master, eager to send Jedi souls into the netherworld he had briefly glimpsed.

A shuttle broke through the atmosphere of Mechis, carrying Zad and his fresh apprentice through the sky and towards the surface. He let the ship guide itself down towards the nearest landing pad as he closed his eyes . His internal comm link was quite useful. He sent out a comm to the surface, letting them know that a fresh arrival would need the 'construct' upgrade and he would need to upload himself, as he had other things to focus on at the moment then training this ungrateful little whelp.

As soon as they landed the ship was swarmed with droids, injecting Jarlaxle with various tranquilizers to make sure he was out long enough for the surgery to take place. When he awake he became aware of the hard, cold steel plug at the base of his neck, as well as the pains around it. There was a slight static sound inside of his head that cut out after a few seconds, making him aware of the internal comm link that was installed. All in all the procedure had taken only an hour to complete.

___

As they carried the Beast away Zad moved towards one of the buildings at a brisk pace. Once inside he was instructed to take a seat in an odd looking chair. A sudden jolt to his system was near immediate as something was plugged into the back of his neck. Every memory, every thought, every personality quirk that made Zadkiel who he was began to cross through the forefront of his thoughts, draining into the construct to, in essence, create a virtual Zad. It would need to be updated, but for now it was complete.

With that complete he exited the building and moved to return to Cardia. His apprentice would be plugged in shortly, then his training could begin. The virtual Zad was already hard at work conjouring up the perfect training ground.

It takes two sides to make war. It only takes one side to make a massacre.

Jarlaxle awoke on a table of cold steel, his mind screamed out in pain as if someone ripped open his skull smashed his brain with a hammer then sealed it back together. He feared the Sith was still around and did not want to give him the pleasure of seeing his pain. He felt something on the back of his neck. He patted it with his hand and it sent out sharp pings of pain, he traced the outline of it with his fingers and it was a plug of some sort. What hellish torture device have the Sith installed upon me? Jarlaxle searched his brain for anything looking close to the device that was on his neck, He surprised himself by finding a message in his memory like it was there all along it told him it was a training program called the Construct.

The message explained to him that it was virtual reality and that you could die there but would not feel a thing, it also told him that the thing on his neck was not a torture device but a way to connect him to the Construct. It also told him of a comm link installed in his brain that allows messages to be conveyed between the user and anyone else as long as you have their codes.

Jarlaxle had the directions to the room that would "Plug" him into the construct in his memory somehow. 5 minutes later he was directed to a odd looking chair and his body jolted from the shock of all his being was translated into a data code.

Marth ran his fingers softly through the back of his head, making sure not to trigger any sensitive nerves. There was a decent amount of pain. What ever procedure the droids performed, it had been quick yet it still hurt. He would have to get used to the large plug too.

Setting aside his physical appearance worries, the young Sith hopeful now set his mind on the task at hand. How was he supposed to find this room? He was told to use his instincts, yet could he trust them? He figured it was either that or starving to death.

He set off down the opposite path he had come. The corridors where almost in worse condition the deeper into the facility he got. His boots echoes softly in the silence. The burden his feet held in even holding his massive frame was quite evident as the sound cascaded and ricocheted through his metal surroundings. A few moments passed before Marth's true test presented itself; a fork in the road. He could either take a passage of stairs leading lower into the complex, or enter a lift not knowing where it went. The man waited for a bit weighing his options carefully. The lift seemed to be more interesting, not the slightest inclination was presented towards its destination. The challenge was clearly evident. With a smirk embedded on his face, Marth took it.

The lift turned out to lead lower into the complex. The young Sith remained on his ride for a few minutes before it finally decided to stop. Once he stepped off, the new surroundings looked exactly the same. Whoever the janitor was, he was no doubt an unpopular man.

He closed his eyes and tried to sense the Force. Was he doing it right? He felt nothing but emptiness as he opened his eyes. How was he supposed to draw on the dark side when he couldn't feel anything? Frustration began to show its ugly head as Marth's patience began to seep away like water through a filter.

Revan seized his cloak from the med bay as he slid it across his back and through his arms. He used the force to summon his saber into his right hand, clipping it to his belt. Standing up, he stretched his legs from the long and tedious slumber he drifted into. Supposedly, Cardia was under attack by the Jedi, and all Sith are needed. That would be his calling.

Killing a few Jedi would surely secure his way into the Sith Order as a Lord. The Dark Lord would surely be pleased with his efforts to defend Cardia, and he would do whatever it took. Walking out of the med bay, he stepped outside. His ship was just outside, landed in the landing pad. His black cloak slid across the ground behind him/

Hopping into the cockpit, he set the coordinates to Cardia. The ship then shot off soon reaching hyperspace.

In the room that awaited Marth was a simple line of bloodstained chairs, each of which featured a dirty looking plug which vaguely resembled the shape of the hole in the back of his neck. His course of action was clear, all he need do was plug in to the System to meet his master...

((OOC: KR's thoughtcast is inside, as soon as you're in the real training starts.))

Plans come in from across the galaxy, for the droid factories to go to work on a new project.

Meanwhile, in orbit the Star Destroyeresque ship begins to take shape...

The request was processed by the second in command for the cybernetics team at Mechis III. One of the younger, astute men that helped run the facilities directed the holopad projection made off of the short inlisted description of how the new project was to be unfolded. After careful hours of deliberation and module scripting, the first rough depection of the product was made.

Near immediately, given the extent of the message and considering its source from the Dark Lord himself, the war droids assembly that had been kept at high pace was suddenly severed, releaving half of the workers to seperate on this new project while the other continued producing the droids at a slightly slower pace then normal, although was still fairly efficent given the cut backs.

A short amount of weapons are loaded for a ship of it's size. Only half the regular payload is mounted to the flimsy incomplete shell, which has taken a large step out of the regular dagger shape in favor of something that more closely resembles and Eclipse SSD, only on a much smaller scale...

Marth's instructions seemed to be clear. He was to plug himself into whatever device was there. Small thoughts of regret began to form within the young Sith. What had he gotten himself into? What did the plug in the back of his mind have to do with the Force? His hairless skin simmed to shimmer in his indecisiveness. It was far too late to back down now. He really had no choice. With curiosity boiling stronger at each passing second, Marth stepped into the console and plugged himself in.

Yeroc started to enter the atmosphere his ship seemed to be a little shooken up from the way there. Yeroc started to see the planet when his ship stalled he started to panic then got angry because he didn't want to die before he got a lightsaber.

Yeroc started to think about what his master said "Use the force to guide your actions". He closed his eyes and sensed where he was going. When he got to the planet he sensed two tree side by side. Yeroc knew he was going to die and so he used the force to try to move it out of the way. He failed, the wings of the ship blew up and the rest of it was about to hit a big tree.

Yeroc quickly ejected Kojoka and then a few seconds after ejected himself. In the air Yeroc caught Kojoka and the parachutes came out they did not land gracefully though. Yeroc and Kojoka both hit hard on the ground Kojoka was still knocked out so he knew Kojoka would be pretty mad when he woke up.

When Yeroc hit the ground his arm was in great pain. But a few minutes later he made a camp because it was getting pretty dark out. Yeroc went for fire wood and to take a look at the damage on his ship, it was totaled. Yeroc yelled at the top his voice "damn it" and tried to find some extra supplies that might of survived from his ship.

From his ship he found some food from the emergency pack and about 50 credits. He was angry but he would have to deal with it in the morning.

Finalized productions and tests completed, the first makings of the operation that had been comannded by the Dark Lord himself were fully operational. Towering above their previous projects, the items were loaded onboard several heavy Imperial transports that had brought some of the raw exotic materials needed for certain interfaces. Once airborne, the small fleet of transports ascended into deep space, pilots at the ready for a special transmission to arrive for the deployment of said units.

The Wingless Seraph winked out of hyperspace, descending towards the machine planet. Nurgle's data chip was proving to be very useful, what with the map of Sith worlds it had provided him with. Shame he'd have to give it up once he got here, but at least he still had it. Yeroc looked like he'd gotten into a couple of scrapes, and his copy of the data might've been destroyed.

As he headed for the planet's surface, Xelker took a moment to think about what he'd need to do once he landed. Priority One was to get Nurgle's data chip into safe hands. Priority Two was to get himself cleaned up- the wounds from his fight with Yeroc and those annoying blisters. His ship could use a bit of stocking up as well. If he was going to become a Sith, he'd need more supplies and weapons than a pair of blasters and a dagger.

The Seraph touched down on a nearby landing pad, Xelker descending the ramp in his normal attire (having gotten out of that clunky armor). In one hand he held his Stormtrooper rifle, in the other Nurgle's data chip. "Anybody home?" he called out.

Hartel's ship came out of hyperspace with the intention of never being used again. It was old useless and it was time to get a new one in his opinion. As the ship approached the station John set the remote detanator underneath the controls of the ship. This would be a simple manuever and one he would want his future hospitality to clearly see.

The ship came screeching to a landing platform on Mechis III, ridden with smoke and holes from laser blasts from his last match with authorities on Ryloth. The old TIE was a stolen vessel but he doubted the Empire would pursue him for such a insignificant ship. Stepping out of the vessel Hartel looked upon the station with interest. It was a clear reason why this place was the new training ground of the Sith Empire. It was Large, Dark, and secluded from outside influence.

Hartel walked inside his Robes flailing about in the vaccum of air flowing out into space. His Mandalorian Armor clearly visible underneath the robes John made his way to the primary entrance to Mechis III and once there he pressed the Trigger happily seeing his starship blow into nothing ness. Removing his Helmet Hartel allowed his long dark Hair to exit the compressed state it was in and looking around he saw a few Sith wandering the halls of the Station.

John decided it was time to wander the station too in search of one to train him in the arts of the Force for it was his destiny to use it as a new weapon against his enemies. Seeing something which struck his mind Hartel decided to head in the direction of the Cybernetics department.

It was small and secluded but everything appeared to be lethal, something of most interest to John. These tools would be great in the future to kill those who opposed his power. Deciding to move along Hartel saw a Sith (OBLIVION) inside the department.

"Greetings Sith, I am John Hartel, Lord of the Mandalorians. I am in seek of a Sith to train me at the moment do you think you could aid me in my search?"

Kratos landed on the Sith planet known as Mechis III. He gently landed his Tie Interceptor in a hanger bay and jumped out to walk into a building. Kratos was in search of a Master that would train him in the ways of the Sith and one day become a Sith Master himself. He walked around diligantly searching for a Master to train him.

The Mandalorian soon became tired as the Sith Lord promptly ignored him. Hartel expected no better and so moved on looking for someone who had the ability to train him which this Sith obviously did not. Taking a turn John moved out of the room and headed toward the main hall to await the arrival of a Sith to train him in the infinite power of the force. Yet Hartel encountered another Acolyte (KRATOS) same as he in the hall.

"Greetings, I am John Hartel. And who might you be?"

Hartel awaited the response of his possible future adversary looking deep into his eyes and trying to extract his very being from them. It was a skill John had from childhood and he would try to use it once more. Yet he could not, this man was shut out from the universe and cared of nothing Hartel had to say. He had his mind on the prize and nothing could stand in his way.

John decided to stand and wait for his response but he doubted he would recieve it and prepeared himself to move on.

Yeroc awoke from his slumber and looked over to Kojoka. He was still sleeping he went to see if he was alive and he realized when he got knocked out he was really knocked out. He packed up camp and headed for the nearest place of civilization with Kojoka on his back.

Yeroc eventually saw what looked like to be a hanger from a distance. He got close and saw Xelkers ship. He ran inside and put Kojoka down in a medical bay then went to go find Xelker.

Yeroc found Xelker and said "How did you do in the battle".

Kratos was stunned when he had noticed the Sith Master call him over. He followed the Sith into his ship for something that he must have wanted. He koped this Sith would become his Master. He looked like a very powerful noble Sith and hoped this would be his Master.

When the Sith Master approached John felt a change in the air. Something was different, death, cold. It was a good feeling. A feeling of power and the lust for it. John wanted nothing more than to grab that power and embrace himself within it yet he knew such things woud be rather impossible at this given stage and instead decided to focus himself on the Sith.

After the Sith Master's orders John walked to the Sith Masters ship, and without personal belongings took up no more space than necessary to sit down in a seat. It was odd to have been told nothing more but many say the Sith can be as outcoming or as cryptic as need be. Hartel was finding this to be true and waited for the Sith Master to return from whatever it is he is doing.

The construction supports broke free of the newest craft, the recently completed Experimental Stardestroyer. Its class designation was the only thing that'd yet to have been completed on the 1,600 meter long craft, which immediately began its maiden voyage to Cardia...

When Kojoka woke up he was so dazed and confused that he just walked around hoping that he could find out what had happened. Also he was worried that he may never get the chance to become a sith so he looked around to hopefully find a master too.

After wandering into the building, Xelker took some time to look around. When they said on the HoloNet Mechis III was completely industrial, they weren't kidding. He wouldn't be suprised if even the planet's core was mechanical! Not that it was a bad thing- Xelker loved technology. It was the backbone of civilization, after all. In fact, he'd once believed whoever and whatever race held the most advanced technology would rule the galaxy.

His recent travels, however, proved that theory wrong. Against the power of the Force, even the greatest superweapon was insigificant... He heard someone behind him, and turned to face Yeroc. "How did you do in the battle".

"I truly experienced the Force for the first time. There's nothing quite like blasting Rebel pilots down to their graves. I forgot to get their scalps, though. Sorry about that."

Any chance of further conversation was ended when an ornately dressed figure came into view about 10 feet away. The Sith Master called to them, "You will do, get on the ship with your personal belongings, I have need of you on a mission."

Nodding politely, Xelker headed off towards his ship, to fetch some belongings and join the Sith Master on whatever he needed. Midway, something struck him.

Wait. Lord Nurgle told us to stay here.

He blinked. Whose orders was he supposed to follow? Did he go with the new arrival, possibly angering Nurgle? Or did he stay put, obeying Nurgle and ignoring the other Sith?

Sensing the Sith Master was somewhere else in the facility, Xelker hurried down the halls into Dagon's lab. With any luck, this Master was acquainted with Lord Nurgle- and not as an enemy!

"Greetings, my lord." He bowed his head for a moment, then continued, "Myself and Yeroc Otten were given instructions by my master, Lord Nurgle, to stay here until his arrival. Do you want us to come along on your mission, or to remain here for Lord Nurgle's arrival?"
