Barton glanced at the wall. He twisted and turned his head observing the luminescent fluid. The shadows near the wall dissipated, only being held at bay by the simple fluid. It was amazing how such a small amount of light could hold the shadow back. Slowly the room around him regained its usual lighting.

”œYou needn't spray me, I can see just fine in the dark. The two marbles that orbited Barton could now be seen. Only a person truly powerful in the force would be able to take control of them, after all Barton had become attuned to them. He observed the other man, once his master.

”œDo you need something, perhaps you came to get Aero's shoulder for her?”

"No, im afraid its been replaced, and shes in good health, despite your efforts. I merely wanted to suggest that you actually finish off the next person you torture, instead of fleeing. I also suggest that you leave aero alone for a while, if you dont want to be forced to flee again."

Winking at him, nahstaa looked at one of the balls floating around karmys head. There was a constant force connection running between them and the boy... Tilting his head slightly, he cut one of the connections, and one of the balls fell to the ground. The bond between master and apprentice was one that had some definate advantages. Turning on one heel, he left karmy to his random pacing of the corridor, and made his way back to his workshop. When he had returned, the ship was nearly complete. All of the core systems had been installed, along with all of the individual components that went with them. The weapons systems had been brought online, and the ship could now take off and be piloted anywhere safely.

All that was left was a few personal needs. Plugging into the main terminal of the workshop, nahstaa began the production of 8 more pieces of equipment... When he was done, he had two sets of 4 long cylanders. Installing a cylander from each set into each claw, he smiled. The grappling cables and cutting lasers would allow him to construct a new workshop wherever he wanted. Walking into the un-used ship, nahstaa plugged into a terminal in the wall, and immediately began downloading programs, protocols, security measures and general information from his own personal databank. All that remained was a name...

The requisitioner.

Sitting down in the cockpit, nahstaa plugged into the ship from there. Closing the boarding ramp, he initiated the startup proceedure, giving it plenty of time to warm up before he took off. Carefully piloting the ship out of the dry dock, he felt as if he himself were flying, rather than controlling a ship, such was the level of control and observation he had over this ship. Each and every task that went on within the ship was monitored by his own computers, and by himself. If he wanted to change his flight path, all he had to do was think it, and it would be done. Bringing the ship back in, he ran a lead from the workshop terminal into the ship, and brought a hyperspace simulation online, checking to make sure the hyperdrive was working perfectly. It was one thing to pilot an un-tested ship within a planets atmosphere, quite another to pilot it through hyperspace... You wouldnt just crash in hyperspace, you could quite easily be ripped into another dimension.

Barton had always had good reflexes but couple that with the force and he had outstanding reflexes. He shot his arm out and down at an angle. The ball fell lightly into his hand and rested there for the briefest of seconds before resuming its orbital path. He did not turn and sneer at Nahstaa, nor did he strike out at him

Aero stood still. First shock: Nahstaa had connected her with Barton, and now he was wandering around. Second shock: Shy-Ree's presence was known to Aero.

"Guess who..."

His voice rang in her head. She quickly grabbed a small blaster and her throwing sringes. Exiting her room, she quickly walked the halls, heading to Nahstaa in his workshop. She would need a substute saber, as Barton had distroyed the crystal of her last borrowed one.

Aero's heart was racing. If she met Barton now, he'd finish her off no doubt. She would be no match for him at this point. Her muscles still hurt a little, though she feeling somewhat better, she was in no shape for any encounters...

Barton did not arise from his position or even turn to face Shy but continued to look straight out. The scenery was desolate, yet a nice change. No matter how beautiful Naboo was, it got tiring on the eyes.

Barton tool in a deep breath as Shy-ree lunged at him. It was time to see just how flexible he was. He leaned back wards, pushing himself further. Shy's blade passed inches from his face as he brought his feet up. He shoved his legs, which now were bunched up, into Shy's chest.

Using the momentum from that he placed one hand on the ground to bring his stunt to a close. He landed on his feet back away from Shy, who had been knocked off balance by his feet. He moved forward, his face had a slight grin on it as he slipped his blade between her defenses. He stopped his blade only half an inch from her neck.

Barton grinned as Shy had him pinned against the wall”¦quite the nice spot really. He allowed Shy to hold him in that spot for a while longer. One of the spheres she had failed to remember slipped down and into her path. It slammed down onto her front left foot causing her to fly forward at Barton. He grip on him through the force was released as he cut her saber of to keep it from dismembering her or even himself.

Shy flew at him, hitting him dead center in his chest pushing him further into the wall. He looked down at the top of her head. ”œYou should really learn to walk before you run. Perhaps that is enough combat training for now”¦”

OOC: This is the account for Calen Nova of the Jedi

IC: Dead silence flooded the empty space high above the planet of Mimban. Nothing moved or disturbed the natural harmony of the planet's orbit around the sun. Despite the cold darkness there was nothing to stur the silence into submission. That is, there was nothing to stur the silence, until now. At this point in history, things were beginning to be set in motion that would change the silence forever.

For the longest time the Jedi have been the keepers of the peace. Even when involved with wars, they had always kept a defensive and peaceful stance in their minds. While going on the offensive was needed at times, it was never in true aggression. During recent times though, the need of an offensive action had been lost. Often no matter what, the Jedi always prefered to defend rather than offend. At this point in history though, that would change.

From hyperspace a convoy of transports exited high above Mimban. Having no defining marks on them, to the trained eye it was obvious that the ships were under the flag of the Republic and Jed Order. With no obvious offensive means, one might question the tactical value of such transports. In truth, with the funds the Jedi Order had at their hands, it was the best thing they could come up with in such a short time. The rest of the funds had been spent on the known methods of entering the dangerous atmosphere of the planet.

All was set, and the Jedi/Republic attack now began. Soon others would follow. For now however the transportered entered the atmosphere and headed for the Sith Temple below. Mean while, other ships began to arrive....

"The Shadows will arise...."

The battle group came out of hyperspace, immediately jamming communications. The interdictor was strategically placed while the four MC90a's headed towards the planet Mimban. Once in position all batteries opened fire on the defenses below, laying down covering fire for the transports that had already arrived. Fighters were launched and formed defensive escorts around the transports and MC90a's.

On board the bridge of the Shatterpoint II Kirana Sunrider sat quietly while her General dispersed and ordered the fleet. She had sunken into her Battle Meditation and now reached out to touch the minds of her fellow Jedi, letting them access her powers, though keeping her mind guarded against the enemy. She was alert to all that was going on, touching the mind of her General as well. Scouts were sent out to the edge of the system to alert them of any late comers to the Sith's planet. Of the Dark Lord she couldn't sense, though she could sense others there.

It had started...

Cal stood near the control center on the bridge of the Shatterpoint II watching as the fleet took its position above the planet. His men were ready to go. They had been training hard for this moment and he knew they would not let him down.

Cal suddenly felt very alert of all that was around him. He felt like his senses were hightened. For some reason he felt like he could see every thing that was taking place on the battle field and like he had complete control over all that was happening.

Cal ordered the men aboard to their battle stations and told them to open fire on the planet below. The massive turbo lasers reaked havoc on the surface of Mimban, but it was only the beginning...

Barton felt the earth beneath his feet shake multiply times, something was impacting the surface. He sprung up grabbing Shy's arm forcing her to follow him into the main control room. He looked around as the Sith acolytes were franticly scrambling around. He looked onto one of the view screens, planetary turbo lasers were raining down upon them.

Barton moved to the center of the room and began instructing the people in here, each and every one of them knew who he was and what he would do if they did not listen. ”œOpen up on the sky with the planet side turbo lasers!”

::Tzeentch sighed as the Republic fleet came into orbit. They claimed to be a government of morals and ethics, but in truth they had done little other than wage wars. Tzeentch could sense Jedi aboard the Republic fleet, misguided warrior priests who betrayed the people by serving a government blind to the people. He shifted himself, becoming a new persona both to conceal his actions and to better prepare himself for what was to come.

Reaching out, she located the Jedi leading the attack and began the invasion of her mind, not forcefully, but like an insidous poison...::

After hearing this Achzet scrambled out of bed and rushed to his master's chamber. Wondering what he should do. He bowed to his master and asked " Master, what should I do? I am not sure I can help seeing as I do not have a lightsaber yet." Achzet was waiting for a reply.

Aero headed to get a lightsaber from armory. Spider's voice rang through the halls. Now they'd have to work as a team, not against each other.

Entering the room, she grabbed a saber, several thermals, and a few more throwing knives. Double checking her poisons and siringes, she briskly left.

Moving along the shadows of the halls, her senses were fully awake.

Heading back towards the hanger, she turned the corner and went down the corridor. Shy-Ree's and Spider's presence was near. Quickening her pace, she decided to get out of her restricting robes.

Turning down one of the main halls, she went to her room. Changing her robes, she grabbed her black clothes. Grabbing her belt, Aero placed the weapons in their designed spots. Having her saber in her hand, she left her room and watched carefully.

Not going far, she came face to face with Spider, who had Shy-Ree close on his heels.

The Alliance Forces above Mimban were met with various defensive planetary emplacement fire, but it was not nearly as concentrated as would be necessary to do more than minimal damage to the powerful shielding of the MC90a cruisers that were authoring the bombardment.

They only returned fire exponentially more intense, targeting firepoints and origins of turbolasers to deal out devestating ground damage that leveled towers and vaporized metal, leaving mangled, smoking wreckage where once grand defenses had been moments before.

Expecting the arrival of the Imperial Navy at any time, the four cruisers formed into a defensible position that would take advantage of the gravity well of the planet and the defensible barrier of its impenetrable atmosphere.

Trying to get a solid lock on the Sith Temple itself was made difficult by that same turbulent atmosphere, but the prepared transports, already under the ever-present cloud layer, scanned for and spotted the impressive structure. Unchecked by scarce turbolaser fire, the transports began final approach, their intentions unknown to the Sith but soon to be revealed ((I'll let a Jedi post that)).

The plan was proceeding well. But there were still many things that needed to happen that hadn't already.

*A lone jedi starfighter jumps out of hyperspace and opens a comlink with the main Alliance forces.*

"Command, are there any troops on the surface yet?"

*After a quick pause, another voice came over the comfeild, letting the jedi master that none had touched the surface yet, but were on their way.*

"Command, when other jedi arrive, Jedi master Kirlocca is on the surface, leading the main assualt."

*Kirlocca brought his fighter around and followed the transports down to the surface, ready for combat, even death if it came his way.*

Barton glanced back at Aero. He didn't particular care if she followed or not, they were in a battle and personal hatred came second to winning. Quickly he went and found his trench and weapons. After slipping them on he grabbed his now beeping comm.

”œSi”¦sir some of our turbo laser batteries have been taken out. I don't know how they got so lucky as to hit them with the atmosphere blocking targeting computers but they did.”

A Miy'Til fighter came out of hyperspace well away from the planet of Mimban. Nurgle's scanners and his Force ability stretched out to survey the situation.

The ship tells me Rebels are here and the Force tells me there are Jedi with them. This is a much more dangerous situation then I anticipated.

Nurgle felt glad he'd come prepared. His tiny fighter would have no trouble slipping onto the surface. Nurgle chose his path carefully, taking his ship away from the Alliance vessels. To be safe, Nurgle submitted the necessary access codes and flew through the defenses. But they would have had a great deal of trouble targeting the fighter anyway. Nurgle landed on the surface of Mimban. He rose from the ship, jumping onto the planet's floor. He watched the skies. Nurgle had spent so much time preparing on Vjun, he couldn't help feeling great anticipation for what approached.

Now well below the cloud cover and deep in the fury of the Temple's defenses, the convoy of ships continued to decend towards the surface. Nothing more than freighters, their weapons and shields did little against the planet's turbolasers and ion cannons.

Slowly to the surface, the convoy already was losing their numbers. Out of ten ships, half of them had already been destroyed by the fire. Mere minutes away from the temple, the remaining ships continued to take impacts from lasers and ion bolts. By the time they would reach the temple, it would be luck if any of them survived. To the outside observers, it would seem that the trip was ill fated.

Minutes had passed and the numbers of the transporters were reduced to one. The lone freighter that flew solely towards the temple and it's destiny. Once it was above the temple by only several meters, the true purpose of the transport was revealed. From the inside of the ship the self destruct kicked in. As wholes were formed through the ships exterior plating, several round bombs flew out. Built to survive the blast from the ship, these bombs finished the journey of the transport.

Before hitting the surface, the bombs went off. All of the sudden several EMP waves blasted out into the temple. With all but one of the transports destroyed, the cover area wasn't enough to take out all the defenses of the temple. Still, four of the ion cannons and a third of the turbolasers were now fried....

The unexpected attack had brought out Darh Sauron from his personal study. Out of his chambers he met Achzet outside asking what they should do. Even as Sauron addressed his apprentice, he could feel the outside events already taking place. "Do what you can to serve the Sith. Regardless if you don't have a lightsaber, you know how to fight. At the very least fight the troops if they ever actually land." Sauron said then walked away.

From a high point on the temple exterior wall, Sauron sat deep in the Force. Regardless of the crude weapons used by either side, he knew the Force would be the most powerful weapon yet. While having little influence over the mental side of the Force, Sauron had developed his talents in the physical realm. With such skill came the ability to manipulate the natural storms on the planet. With work, soon the storms grew in intensity, providing a much harder barrier to penatrate for the enemy attackers....

Barton froze in his tracks”¦he felt him. He felt Nurgle. He was planet side now, here to help. A grin consumed Barton's face as he once more changed direction. He moved upwards around the temple, gathering any and all Sith in the temple. An idea had just occurred to him; perhaps it would work perhaps not.

He did not stop to explain, put instead briefly opened his mind to each one with an image of the thought he had. He felt the temple shake under an explosion. He muttered a low curse under his breath. As soon as he had spoken to each Sith in the temple and told them to follow him he moved outside.

He found Nurgle standing near a ship. ”œI have an idea, will you help? If so follow me.”

*As the jedi master flew threw the storms, he felt the presence of the sith on the surface, they seemed to be an uncontroled storm.*

That's the real diferance between the two sides.

*Kirlocca then took notice of the storms growing stronger. Kirlocca quickly began to fly with with more of a force conection.*

"Shadow, prepare to unleash the rage affect."

*The jedi master brought his ship in closer to the sith temple on the surface. Then the wookiee got a sound of beeps in his ear as Shadow told him that the weapons rage was ready.*

Alright then, let's unleash hell on them.

*KIrlocca then pulled the tigger and six wide spread concussion missles streaked out of the starfighter and began to hit random places of the sith temple.*

A piece of herself had been killed through that little inner battle. A piece of herself had completely fallen apart. Ikanya took up her mind's weapons, drew them against her own enemies... the enemies that were herself. And she destroyed them. She slashed her mind's sword through her desire to eat caffeine, took minor pleasure in the sight of watching that need die away.

She enjoyed this, enjoyed seeing her lighter weaknesses dying away at her touch. All she had to do was want them to.

All she had to do was accept the Force as her ally, as her tool. And that she did, slashing that weapon through her fears, her weaknesses, and used them to build up into a powerful tool. Her own mind was her greatest weapon and her greatest enemy.

She would have it as her weapon.

Ones thoughts could do far more damage, she reflected, than a lightsaber. A lightsaber could be taken away. But one could lose their mind, and still contain the ability to focus it into a weapon even through insanity.

A grim smile touched her mind's face. She was going insane, she knew it. She loved it. She desired it, the loss of sanity that kept her pinned to ingrained morals. With insanity, she could fight against what she knew was truth. What was power, what was the Force? What was anything without a person to use it?

She steeled herself against the walls of her mind, against the trees and pathways, the maze and twisted being that was herself. And she let herself go, fall away. And when it seemed she was furthest from her mind, she pushed, and forced herself to fly through the barriers.

She touched the anger that she had felt at being pinned in here. Touched the fear and moments of terror and kneaded them into that same anger. She felt that heat of rage in her very existance swallow her whole...

And when she suddenly sat up, Ikanya felt whole. She felt stiff and a bit weary from the mental battle, but she still recovered enough strength to make it to her feet, grab her lightsaber and robes to toss on quickly. Garbing herself as a Sith, she headed out of the room.

Her master and fellow apprentice were here. She could feel them.

And so was the light...

Light? She snorted. If they're so lightside, then why are they attacking us?

Ikanya quickened her pace and opened her newfound awareness to find Shy-Ree and Barton.

With the success of the final transport, new projected targeting data was added to the fleet's sensors. The farthest transport had purposefully detenated. That apparently meant that it had located the Sith Temple. Therefore, the MC90a's in orbit fired on that location.

And indeed their turbolasers were accurate. A concentrated volley smashed into the Sith Temple, weakening its structural integrity and shattering towers, setting fire to its interiors and melting its bulk with speed. It would take some time to completely level, but things were proceeding well.

"Begin landing Jedi and troops," the General aboard the flagship of this fleet said. The Imperial Navy hadn't arrived as of yet, so landing the specially-shielded transports would be without fighter and capital ship interference. And they wouldn't need to risk as much as the EMP transports, opting for a more distant perimeter.

It was a question pondered by many philosophers: if the Jedi were inherently good and followed the Light Side of the Force, protecting the innocent, and believing in the value of all life, then why would they sometimes take the offensive and attack their enemies? Armiena had just spent some time in hyperspace pondering the same question, and she found a simple answer in little time. In order to protect the innocent, they simply could not wait for the wicked to attack. Sometimes, the Jedi had to pursue evil, for the darkness could not be simply guarded against; it had to be extinguished. That was a truth that Armiena had accepted years ago... and no discipline would force her to stray from that conviction.

The Jedi Knight had been preparing for this confrontation for a long time, and she would have wanted even more time to prepare. The Avenging Angel was in finer condition than it had been since her birth, loaded to the brim with concussion missiles and proton torpedos, as well as a few "special" weapons of her own design. She suppressed a malicious grin; she couldn't wait to try them out.

Even with all that preparation, there were still two things missing: Shawn Kenobi, her Padawan was not yet a Knight, and her armor had not been completed. In fact, her mother was probably sitting on Dagobah at this moment, wondering where in the galaxy her daughter was. Armiena would have to manage... and it was up to the Sith to manage to survive her wrath.

Armiena sat in the Avenging Angel's cockpit, armed to the teeth with most of her weapons and a suit of light armor. She allowed Shawn to prepare for the battle in his own way. With great solemnity, the ebon-haired woman pulled back the hyperspace levers, and the stars formed lines around the canopy... revealing the barren world of Mimban.

After raising the shields, Armiena sent out a call to all of the Jedi and Alliance forces.

"Jedi Knight Armiena Draygo reporting in. Kindly point me to wherever I can do the most damage."

To her Padawan she sent a Force Message. Stay by my side. If I am killed... take the ship and get away from the battle--don't let anything stop you.

Something wasn't right. Kira cut her mental touch to those that she had been touching and searched for the wrongness. The mental barriers were already in place but still... by cutting her touch, those that knew her would know that something was going on.

She still couldn't sense the Dark Lord, but that didn't mean there wasn't other sith masters on the surface that would attack the mind. Kira created more barriers within her mind, focusing on building walls of a maze with obstacles in the way of anyone attacking her mind. She prepared her lines of defense, preparing incase of an intruder. Having been attacked by the Dark Lord previously she was prepared to do this sort of battle if need be.

Aero stayed farther away from Barton and Shy-Ree. She didn't want to get to close to either one, even if they were all on the same side....

The Jedi would fail on their suicide mission. the Emperor knew all that goes on inside the temple. There was no way the Sith would fail. Not with Nurgle and Tzeentch with them.

Where was Nahstaa again? Did her memory fail so quickly? Looking forward, she kept her eyes glancing around and on Barton, watching his every move.

Cal recieved a message aboard the Shatterpoint II from a jedi knight that had just arrived, "This is General Cal Regium, it is good to have you on board Knight Armenia Draygo. We have just located the exact location of the Sith base on the planets surface. We need you to help lead our ground forces that are headed planet side now. The coordinates for the landing zone are being sent to you. On your way in try to clear a path for the transports so that our men have the safest landing area possible. Good luck, and may the force be with you."

Cal ended the transmission to the Jedi Knight and sent messages to the transports to sit up a good distance away from the base. They were to try and encircle the area currently being bombarded.

Cal also sent a small squadron of K-wings with each transport just to be safe. Once the troops had safely landed the K-wings were to return directly to the side of the MC-90a's and prepare for the appearance of the Imperial fleet, which Cal was expecting at any moment...

Having just finished testing his ships hyperspace capabilities, nahstaas mood was brought up by 2 or 3 notches at the explosions that suddenly went off all around the temple, and the presence of light siders in the planets orbit... Picking up his incomplete four bladed saber, he moved quickly into the armoury, picking up four seperate sabers, pulling the crystal out of each, and fitting the four crystals into each arm of the saber.

Seeing aero in the armoury, still a little confused after her encounter with karmy, nahstaa said

"I suggest you stick close. Follow me"

Quickly plugging into the main systems, he felt the four ion cannons go offline, along with 16 of the turbolasers. Overriding the automatic firing module, he forced the remaining two ion cannons, and the remaining 33 turbo lasers to trace just one stream of fire, and lay down heavy fire upon that stream, until the massive heat wave of a ship exploding could be detected through mimbans atmosphere.

He also left a wonderful little narrow band encrypted transmitter and reciever in the terminals circuitry, hidden from sight. The encryption algorithm was set up so that it shifted every 30 seconds, changing to a completely different algorithm on a very, very long list of mutations. Each mutation was automatically set up in nahstaa's internal computers, meaning that he was the only one that could successfully use that particular terminal, and he could use it within a large radius of the temple.

Heading up to his workshop, nahstaa ran a set of schematics through the main terminal, begining fabrication immediately. Leaving the workshop, he headed for the temples main reactor core. Plugging into its monitoring and control system, he downloaded a program, and left yet another of his transmitters.

Moving along to the hangar's, he began placing the transmitters in each and every ship he could find, bar the ones owned by sith/gods/others who were on the planet at this very second. Sprinting back up to his own ship, he started configuring each and every transmitter to run into his own ship, following the same encryption patterns as every other transmitter he had placed.

Running off a single command, each and every ship in mimbans hangars ((Bar the ones owned by people.)) ran into autopilot, and took off. Each ship was shielded from mimbans harsh atmosphere by the temples shield projectors, and the unmanned convoy of slave transports, shuttles and starfighters made it out of the atmosphere, spread out and randomly positioned.

____________________________________________________________

Drawn to the presence of those infused with the light, the zombies that inhabited mimbans surface began attacking the jedi who had landed. Undead animals, people and... things swarmed towards the jedi, surrounding each one and threatening to overrun them.
