She moved up the ranks quickly and as she did so she met and later trained under Jedi Knight Onderin Starlisk. She was knighted just after she became the Admiral of the Rebellion. Kira took on Locke Starspanker as her first apprentice, and soon after he was Knighted, she gave into his advances, the pair becoming an item. The two formed a lifebond, the master/padawan bond having increased during their training... During one of the battles on Coruscant, Kirana went up against Vladimir Faust just after he destroyed the shields in the Upper Levels, killing billions. Kirana, Locke, Yuusuke and Yue fought him. During the fight, Faust almost succeeded in removing Kirana’s wrist. She managed to have her hand reattached after the fight, leaving a permanent reminder. She also received a cut to the neck (another scar) and a bloodied nose. Kira has the traditional tattoos of the Mirialan race visible on her face, telling of her experiences in the rebellion through all of her ranking's and in the Jedi Order. She focuses on Battle Meditation and lightsaber combat forms III & IV. Kira became Chief of State of the Alliance for a while, until she was mindwiped just after the battle at Mimban. She remembered only that she was a Jedi, not that she was ever involved in the Alliance. Although she didn't realise it, the Jedi Knight became a Champion of Nurgle when he mindwiped her, convincing her that he was a Healer and that she should give her will to him so that he may help rid her of her nightmares. Kira took on Dashel Illioni as her next apprentice, as Locke took on Sahv. The two continued their training together and were sent on their trials, becoming Jedi Knights. Kirana with the help of Malin, went on a crusade to recover her lost memories. During this process she found out she had been tricked by the God Nurgle. Under duress, she was eventually released from his hold over her, and the two Jedi left Vjun. During this 'adventure' the two formed a close friendship. They had many times merged force powers previously in various battles. Over time, Kira has strengthened her mind powers, having been put on the defensive against the likes of The Dark Lord of the Sith - Kakuto Ryu, and other Sith Masters (including Tzeentch) She had had other encounters with Draken Shadowlord and Rocketblaze and his Serpents. Rocketblaze kidnapped and took her to his base on the planet Chandrila . There Kira ‘assisted’ the Serpents with lightsided training. After this she was returned to Ilum where she had been taken from. Kirana had been on a mission on Tatooine when she disappeared. Not much is known of what happened to her during this time though her friends didn’t give up looking for her. It took quite a few years but Celestia eventually found her, having heard a rumour that she had been captured and put into carbonite by a Bounty Hunter. Celestia, Skye Organa and Zara Nargal organised and executed a successful rescue mission, freeing the frozen Jedi Master. The Jedi Healer monitored Kirana as she was brought out of the carbonite and cared for her friend until she recovered.
  2. Catching Up Characters: Kirana Sunrider, Skye Organa, Celestia, Zara Nargal, brief mention of Kalyani and Mellanie ** Just after Kirana had had a confrontation with Faust on Nar Shaddaa where she assisted her former Padawan Jhoren free his Padawan from Faust. Kira heads to the Golden Link Casino to catch up with some friends for a little down time. I just wanted to 'catch up' with my different aliases without posting with all of them in the RP. --------------- Kirana pulled back the lever, watching as the white streaks reverted back into pinpoints of light as the stars reappeared. The Lost Soul headed towards the Golden Link Casino as it orbited Corellia. She had changed her transponder codes so that her location would not be a give away. Kira had just left Nar Shaddaa after encountering Faust there. At least Jhoren’s Padawan was safe, though the loss of her contacts weighed heavily on her. She hated losing people to madmen like Faust. Kirana dressed carefully before she left her ship. Black knee high boots, black cargo pants, dark green long sleeved silk shirt with black trim, her silver hair covered with a black, short haired wig. She couldn’t do much to disguise her traditional tattoos so she used makeup to add to them, filling parts of it in and adding more. Now she looked nothing like a Jedi was supposed to look. She walked confidently through the Casino floor, heading towards one of the restaurants that had been arranged for their meeting. She wasn’t the first there, which didn’t surprise her. She inclined her head to the woman that was already there. Celestia nodded her head, raising her hand to attract the attention of a waiter. The Firrerreon ordered a Corellian Ale also adding, “Whatever my friend wants too,” as her hand indicated Kirana. “Hey Kira. Love your top. Is that Ryloth Silk? Love the new hairdo.” The Jedi grinned, inclining her head, “No fooling you is there Cel?” She knew the smuggler was knowledgeable, had probably smuggled the bolts of silk to whoever her buyers might be. To the waiter she added, “I’ll have the same thanks.” The one time Pirate grinned back at the Jedi, “Our other friends are late.” Kirana’s sapphire blue eyes sparkled in answer just as a voice behind the Firrerreon spoke up, “Am I? I better check my time piece then.” The auburn haired Jedi inclined her head in greeting, “Hi Kira, Cel. Zara not here yet?” Celestia’s head whipped around, taking in the appearance of the renowned Jedi Healer, taking in the fact that she was dressed in a similar manner to Kirana, only instead of a green shirt, hers was blue with silver trim around the collar. “Well met Skye. I see you and Kira have the same tailor. How are the kids?“ The Jedi both laughed before Skye answered with her amusement still showing, “Yes I think we do. Couldn’t have done it better if we’d have planned it.” To her other question she answered, “They’re good thanks. Morgana, Amon and Krishna are all off doing their own thing at the moment.” Kirana met the Healer’s eyes for a moment before she spoke, “I don’t know if you heard anything about Nar Shaddaa lately. I’ve just come from there. Met an old ‘friend’ of ours. I think you can guess which one.” Skye gave a little shudder as she nodded. “Yes. He’s far too cocky for his own good. One day he’ll slip up and I really hope I’m there to see it.” The privateer nodded, “Amen to that.” The waiter returned with their orders, taking Skye’s and returning again soon after. The three women conversed for a time on various subjects before organising for Cel to have a pickup of some items at a certain location before another familiar figure approached them, slipping onto the fourth chair at their table. “Sorry I couldn’t make it here sooner. As you can see, we’re busier than ever lately.” The Dathomiri Witch grinned at the other three, inclining her head to the Healer before her grey eyes rested upon Kirana’s blue, “Do you know how Sabian is?” She hadn’t heard from the father of her youngest daughter for a while now and was anxious to know that he was alright, even when she knew she wouldn’t be told where he was for safety reasons. You never knew who was listening, especially because of Ronin’s vendetta against him. “Yes, he is alright Zara, very busy though he gave me this to pass onto you.” Kira handed her a datastick containing a video letter. “I’ve got a box in the hold of my ship with something for Mellanie, Kalyani and Kane. When he knew I was coming here after Nar Shaddaa he asked me to bring it to you.” Sabian and Kirana had one main thing in common besides the factions they were affiliated with - they were both trained by Onderin Starlisk. “How is Brina, Zara? I plan to call up to see her before I leave.” Skye asked the proprietor of the Golden Link Casino. She’d received a call from Kheldar asking her to come and see Brina Thalin a while back. They had been hoping that Skye could heal the disease that had been reeking havoc upon the co-owner. The Healer had done so and Brina had bounced back, though she did still want to check in with her to make sure she was doing well. “Brina’s good. Hasn’t looked back since you cured her.” The Healer’s smile widened at that before she asked, “And how are your kids? I heard what happened to Kalyani. Is she alright? I can’t even begin to imagine how she must feel.” Zara’s smile disappeared, “If I ever get my hands on that Pirate I’ll kill him! I had hoped Ronin would actually be a father to her but he not only dumped her at the hospital he broke her heart.” Her stormy grey eyes flashed as she rounded on Cel, “If you know where he is…” “Hey, hey, hey… I’m on your side with this Zar. What he did was so totally wrong on all levels. I know I’ve worked for him in the past but after that stunt he pulled with the twins I cut all ties…” Celestia held her hands up as if to ward the Dathomir Witch off. Zara visibly took a deep breath, attempting to control her temper. She found it easier than usual, feeling a subtle force manipulation and her eyes flicked back to the Healer. “Skye…” The Healer placed a hand on the proprietor’s arm, “Sorry Zar, it’s second nature.” The blonde haired woman slowly nodded her head, “I know. He just makes me so mad with what he did...” The other three women agreed with her. Pressing the button to bring up the holo menus, Celestia suggested, “Well… how about we change the subject to something more pleasant and order some food.”, with the others agreeing as she raised her hand to attract the attention of the drinks waiter once more. Each of them made their menu choices, pressing the corresponding buttons for their preferred meals. When the waiter arrived at their table, the four gave their drink orders and the mood changed back to a more jovial one. Their meals were brought soon after and the four women turned the topic of conversation to something more pleasant. Skye and Zara told amusing stories about what their children had been up to, Zara shaking her head adding, “I can’t imagine what it would be like to have your children grow up that fast. One day a toddler and the next their near fully grown… how did you cope with that? I find it hard to take it that Kane has gone off on his own at sixteen… be it that he is probably with his older half brother…” Zara rolled her eyes. At least Julio had looked after the twins and tried to keep them safe. Kalyani had told her what Julio had said and what he’d done when Ronin ‘tested’ his oldest child. She thought about asking her Jedi friends if they could teach the girls but then changed her mind. If Kalyani and Mellanie wanted to learn the ways of the Force they would ask someone themselves. They had all sorts of options open to them, having met both Sith and Jedi. Celestia piped up with a few amusing stories herself, some about what she and her friend Jari had gotten up to. They all knew Cel entertained by dancing when she couldn’t find any other work. Kirana added her own stories, some about when she was a Padawan herself, others about her time in the Alliance and also some amusing occurrences with her own Padawans. Laughing she said to Zara, “You’ll have to ask Sabian next time you’re talking with him if Onderin had a missile fired at him during his training… He did that to me, testing how I would deal with that kind of danger.” A cheeky grin crossed her features as she added, “I sent the missile back towards his ship…” They all laughed at that and when Cel said, “I hope it didn’t destroy his ship - they’re expensive enough without being damaged…” Kira shook her head, “No, he turned the missile away and detonated it at a safe distance.” Before their gathering broke up, Kalyani and Mellanie wandered in, searching for their mother. The four women greeted the girls, politely asking them how they were and what they had been up to, including being sympathetic to Kalyani who still sported an arm brace. As they said their farewells, making plans to meet up the following month, Skye said to Kalyani, “Let me take a look at that and see what I can do.” Kalyani looked back at the Healer, “You can do that? Wow. Thanks Auntie Skye.” Then to the others added, “Goodbye Auntie Cel, Auntie Kira. See you later Mum,” Mellanie followed suit and the girls left with Skye, heading towards the Med Centre and chatting to the Healer all the way. Cel walked with Kira, heading towards the hangars to board their respective ships. Zara went along with them to organise to have the box delivered to her apartment. It turned out that Cel was docked in the next hanger over, the three women parting as Cel left them with a wave and a, “See you next time” Kirana and Zara entered the hangar where The Lost Soul was docked, the Jedi pressing in the security sequence to allow entry to her ship. She led the way into the hold where the crate was stored. She unlocked the holds ramp and activated the repulsor lift before she directed it out of the hold, into the hangar bay. Zara had already arranged for one of her trusted staff members to take the box up to her apartment, to which they did. The two women embraced before the co-owner left the hangar to go back to work and the Jedi re-entered her ship. It didn’t take long for her to head to the cockpit, arrange for departure before doing so, The Lost Soul soon disappearing into hyperspace once more.

  4. "Well, she's seen both sides of what the Force can do now. Not a good introduction for her, being held by an insane Sith Master. I wish you two good luck, whatever the decision." Kira responded, then inclined her head as he arrived at the location. "Yes, this will be fine. May the Force be with you Jhoren. You will always know how to contact me." She smiled at her former padawan, resting her hand upon his shoulder for a moment before she turned to leave. Reaching the embarksion ramp, she hit the controls to lower it, leaping off the end to land lightly on the roof of one of the lower buildings. She raised her hand in a salute of farewell before she jumped off the roof to land lightly beside the body of her deceased contact. The Jedi Master shook her head at the message left in blood before she called for assistance to take the body to the morgue of the closest hospital. She accompanied them to the hospital, letting them know who the man was and who it was that killed him. The hospital was busy due to Faust's explosions so it wasn't a surprise that there was another of his victims there as well. She organised for his burial and then took her leave, quickly heading to where her ship had been docked at a hidden location. The Lost Soul soon lifted off after all the preflight checks and left the planet to another destination.
  5. "Easy Jhoren. Don't make going after him your only focus. That in itself will consume you. I know what he has done more so than you and yes, he has to be stopped..." As Kira spoke she felt the death of her contact. She winced, feeling the connection she had with the contact extinguish as he died in a painful manner. She also knew the moment the jamming device was destroyed as her comm chip reactivated. Kira received messages from others, one telling her that Faust's ship had left Nar Shaddaa space. "He's left the planet Jhoren. You can drop me off towards the southern district. Faust found my contact with the second jammer. I'd like to see that his remains are interred properly." Her voice was sombre as she spoke. "From there I will go my own way and let you get on with training your new padawan"
  6. (ooc: sorry for not posting sooner... RL caught up with me) Kira felt Faust's fury, the malice that thick you could cut it with a knife. She emerged from her hidden location as the mind contact was cut with his retreat. Figuring treachery, she gave a signal through the Force for retreat to those she'd had closing in on Faust's position. The Jedi Master emerged to see Jhoren take Saerin's wrist and get her aboard his ship, said ship soon closing on her on location. She allowed Jhoren to grab hold of her, letting the Force assist her as she too boarded the YT-2400. The explosions were ripping through the dock as they escaped the area. Having relied heavily on the Force for that last mental attack and being connected to her contacts, Kirana closed her eyes, resting for a moment. She wasn't idle though, searching for any sign of pursuit from Faust. The jamming device would have to be manually switched off once she got to that location, either that or she'd have to mentally touch her contact again to get him to turn it off for her. Not sensing Faust anywhere close to them, Kirana opened her eyes and stood, making her way towards the cockpit. "You did well out there Jhoren, though you really need to get control of your emotions. Faust could have used your anger against you... he very nearly did." Her voice was gentle. She stood there for a while looking out the viewscreen. "Where are you planning on heading now?"
  7. Seeing that it was no good using the stun weapon since Malice was using Searin for a body-shield, she holstered it, leaving one hand free for the moment. It seemed that he was going to play dirty. Well... there had to be another way around this, another way to free the girl and get her safely away. Faust's talk about fighting fair would have made Kirana laugh as if he'd told a joke had things not been so dire. She'd had experience with him previously, and had researched the bounty hunter turned sith lord. His exploits were well documented all over the galaxy. There was no way Kira would let her guard down for a moment where he was concerned. Unknown to Faust, others were secretly closing in on the location of the dock's, all armed and ready to carry out instruction on a signal. Faust wasn't the only one that had 'eyes in the skies'. The signal was for some to lock onto a certain target with missile launchers similarly armed like the one the droid had carried and others with their varying other ranged weapons of choice. It seemed a bit excessive against just one man.. and his ship... unless that one man was Vladmir Faust and that ship, the Bhelliom. That ship had to be taken out of the equation before too much more damage was done. "We all know that your words are meaningless lies, Faust... You are too well known. You would never keep your word - never just let her go, never leave off murdering other innocents - you never have before... I doubt you ever will. How many innocents have you killed since the last time you swore that exact thing to a Jedi that was asked to lay down their weapons and surrender to you..." was Kirana's response, hoping to goad him into releasing Searin unharmed. She knew from keeping a light touch on someone else that no such levelling had happened on the other side of the planet. She knew that her droid had hit his ship, had seen the smoke trail from the eyes of her contact as the ship passed by... Hearing the signal she had been 'keeping an ear out for', she leaped down from her perch to a position that was not visible to a ship in the skies, using the Force to speed her away from the last visible location. Weapons trained on their target opening fire from their sniper vantage points on Faust's ship as it came into view. The others still held their fire, waiting for an opportunity. The comms were still jammed to prevent Faust from communicating with his ship. Kira had been using other means with all of her contacts. She now gave her signal with a light brush of the Force for them to fire on Faust's ship as soon as they had it in their sights. Touching Jhoren's mind she sent him a message, 'Don't give in to your anger... that's what he wants... he'll turn you to the darkside if you give him the opportunity... do not give in to your anger... that will not help her... keep yourself calm... To Searin she gave a reassuring mental touch and some advice, that they would do everything to free her from the madman's grasp. Use his own weapons against him if you can... From Kirana's new vantage point she drew in the Force, the light energies swirling around her. She had a 'bodyguard' of sorts, one that would alert her to any danger coming her way. It was obvious to Jhoren what she was doing through their bond, hopefully she would present the opportunity for him to get the girl away while she kept Faust busy. This time she meant business. This time she locked onto Faust's mind, grabbing hold with a tight mental grip, blinding and stunning him with the light side of the Force, demanding "Let the girl go unharmed" attempting to find a way deeper into his mind to force him to let Searin go without harming her further. -- (ooc: getting a bit carried away aren't you R?)
  8. Kirana followed behind Jhoren, taking time to send messages through to a contact and to check up on the response to her droids SOS. She had shut down her sabers as she hurried through the crowds, clipping one of her sabers to her belt-clip as she went along. As she reached the docking platforms, she noticed that Faust had Saerin in his telekinetic grasp. She somehow knew that Malice would still be alive... he'd escaped from them before, through the floor so she gathered that's what he'd done again here. As Jhoren threw the crate towards Faust, Kira let her free hand close around another pistol-grip. Her other hand still held her saber, ready to ignite at a moments notice. To further distract Faust, Kira gathered the force and leaped upwards, landing on the top of one of the other ships in the docking area. She took aim towards Faust and fired a number of stunbolts towards him, her voice loud and clear over the commotion that he had caused, "Picking on mere children Faust. You should be ashamed of yourself."
  9. The only notice she had that the pistol would explode was a sense of danger through the Force. She threw the pistol before it exploded, snatching up the hilt of her second blade, igniting it as well in a smooth movement. More defensive instinct than deliberate move, Kira swung her blade upwards, more or less tracking Faust as he got thrown back from the kinetic feedback, slicing through his arm while he hung mid-air in the moments before he landed. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the arm still holding the sword hilt clatter to the floor. Her other blade came around in a defensive position, seeing his other blade pointed directly at her. Kira was aware when Jhoren re-entered the bar though didn't expect to be pushed away out of Faust's range by him and into the wall across the other side of then room. It was unexpected though being removed from point blank range of her enemy gave her a breather, time to think her next move through. Both her blades were still ignited though she held them at such an angle that they wouldn't cause self-harm. Gathering the Force, she used it to assist her to her feet, the armor being slightly awkward to get upright with any speed other wise. She watched Jhoren as he confronted Faust, pushing him to the opposite side of the cantina from where she was and brought the ceiling down on him. Dust, rubble, debris, it all came down on Faust. She disengaged her sabers as Jhoren did, still aware that anything could be possible with that particular enemy so still held them ready. ”œI'm fine. It's okay Jhoren though I think we better make ourselves scarce." Still alert for possible dangers, she headed towards what remained of the doorway, stepping around the varying obstacles still in the way.
  10. (ooc: well he never got back to me so I hope this is okay... I'm not waiting any longer...) The droid didn't have enough time to get out of the way, calculating the type and that the missile would hit it in seconds. In those brief seconds it sent out bursts of data ”“ one to it's master, a warning of it's demise along with the information sent in the second message to local authorities that an explosion was imminent at that location by a diamond boron missile fired by Faust's ship. That was all the droid had time to do before it exploded from the missile's impact, along with the jamming device it had used. While hoping that he wouldn't, the Jedi had been well aware that Faust would attempt to take out the droid and jamming device, therefore the other jammer ”“ that was still in operation ”“ was in a location far from where the droid had been”¦ - - - - ”œThat may be so but there will always be the will to live, the will to overcome all odds Faust.”
  11. She heard Jhoren's thoughts, returning them in kind, You too...
  12. A slender robed figure slipped unseen into the chaos of the bar, her presence hidden for the moment. Beneath the robes was a fully armoured and armed figure, looking more like a bounty hunter than what she actually was. The master had been keeping tabs on her former padawan, only closing the distance between them when she'd heard - and received - his mental call and the visions, having used the chaotic nature of Nar Shaddaa to camouflage her own force presence, making sure she was hidden within the folds of life that stirred within the population. She remained out of the way, observing how Jhoren handled the situation though now it was time to act. While still not revealed to either of them, she began to help some of the stunned patrons to escape the bar before harm came to them. She couldn't help all of them though as the barman was killed by Faust's thrown saber. The flames were becoming out of control, the fire sprinklers not having come on for some reason when the first lot of flames sprang to life. It was either because of the dingy nature of the cantina or they had been sabotaged. In either event, something needed to be done about it, before this battle escalated further. Choosing to reveal herself as Jhoren leapt out of the establishment, Kirana used a flick of the Force to activate the sprinklers, dousing the flames and those left inside. She stood in the open doorway now, the hilt of her silver saber in one hand, projectile pistol in the other as her vivid blue eyes locked onto Faust from behind the visor of her helmet. She could feel Jhoren's next attack, the Jedi knowing that Faust could turn anything to his advantage. She now had all her senses alert, brushing Jhoren with a tendril of the Force to reassure him before she spoke. "Kirana trained him quite well I believe." Knowing that Faust recognised her she added, "So we meet again... Malice..." She used the name she'd dubbed him years ago when they first met in the aftermath of his attack on the shields of Coruscant. That was back when she was but a Knight training her first padawan, Locke. She knew full well what this madman was capable of. The armour she wore now had been modified after that first meeting to correct some of the mistakes that had happened back then. Cortosis weaved gauntlets protected her wrists from being sliced, a faint scar a permanent reminder of that event. Kira gathered the force, letting the light energies swirl around her, sending an attack of her own in Faust's direction. Her attack was not physical though, it was directed towards his mind, aiming to stun him, to make him feel remorse for those he'd killed, along with an order Surrender!
  13. "We're going to the new Helix Station." Kira watched as the space outside of the viewscreen reverted to a black backdrop with scattered stars. She put in the next set of co-ordinates, knowing that they wouldn't be tracked having taken all the precautions before they again disappeared into streaks of light that indicated hyperspace...
  14. Getting Jhoren's answer, she let her droid take the controls as she led the way to the galley. Kira quickly set to preparing a meal for the two of them, soon having two steaming plates of protein and vegies on the table. "Okay Jhoren. I'd like to hear your version now." She ended her words with a wink before taking a mouthful of food. == Later == Between the next set of jumps, Kirana ran through some of the security checks, making sure that there was no possible way of tracking them, or following them to their next location. Receiving the comm back from Kheldar, Kirana sighed. She wished it would have been easier than this. Shaking her head, she forewarded the comm to the Alliance, hoping they would finish what she had tried to start. That done, she turned back to her padawan. "One more random jump and we'll be at our destination."
  15. Kirana glanced over towards Jhoren, relaxing the tension from her shoulders now that they were in hyperspace on the first of their random jumps. "Yes, she was the padawan of another Master at the enclave. Nayèla learnt a lesson the hard way. She thought she had killed her Master when they were duelling. In actual fact, her Master took only a glancing blow. It was the smell of burnt flesh that added to Nayèla's worst fears. That coupled with the duel having been conducted within a crystal cave... she believed she had failed and therefore fell towards the dark side, angry at herself and hurting emotionally from having harmed her beloved Master." Kira smiled at Jhoren, "She will be fine. I sensed her redemption. Well done my padawan." A few moments later the proximity alarm alerted them to prepare to emerge from hyperspace. Streaks reverted to stars and blackness, the Jedi Master letting her senses stretch out to make sure they were alone and had no one following their vector. Kirana sent off a comm message to Kheldar Vos Corelli regarding what had happened on Dantooine before she programmed the next set of random co-ordinates for the next jump. Once back in hyperspace she turned back towards Jhoren, "Since this jump is a longer one, how about we have a meal. You can tell me how you felt you handled the situation in the grove, and what we've covered so far with your training."
