To outside observers, the EMP attack was a success. Knocking out many of the Temple's defenses was no small feat. Still, the attack had only been the first wave (thus come in the second group of ships posted in the first attack post). With a portion of the defenses left, the second and final wave of ships would have a greater chance of success. As the battle progressed, the convoy had entered the atmosphere closely after the first wave. Many of the temple defenses were drained on the warships in orbit, which allowed many of the transport to actually get through the defensive line. By the time they had reached the proper distance, three ships survived the onslaught this time. Identical to the first transport, they exploded and allowed their cargo to rain down. At the end of the rain of EMP bombs, none of the defenses survived. The last two ion cannons had fallen to the first few bombs, and the wide spread area of the bombs covered the remaining turbolasers as well as already disabled defenses. As well, many of the internal systems of the temple including the hangerbay and communications were now out. The fight continued to progress....

Now well below the cloud cover and deep in the fury of the Temple's defenses, the convoy of ships continued to decend towards the surface. Nothing more than freighters, their weapons and shields did little against the planet's turbolasers and ion cannons. Slowly to the surface, the convoy already was losing their numbers. Out of ten ships, half of them had already been destroyed by the fire. Mere minutes away from the temple, the remaining ships continued to take impacts from lasers and ion bolts. By the time they would reach the temple, it would be luck if any of them survived. To the outside observers, it would seem that the trip was ill fated. Minutes had passed and the numbers of the transporters were reduced to one. The lone freighter that flew solely towards the temple and it's destiny. Once it was above the temple by only several meters, the true purpose of the transport was revealed. From the inside of the ship the self destruct kicked in. As wholes were formed through the ships exterior plating, several round bombs flew out. Built to survive the blast from the ship, these bombs finished the journey of the transport. Before hitting the surface, the bombs went off. All of the sudden several EMP waves blasted out into the temple. With all but one of the transports destroyed, the cover area wasn't enough to take out all the defenses of the temple. Still, four of the ion cannons and a third of the turbolasers were now fried....

OOC: This is the account for Calen Nova of the Jedi IC: Dead silence flooded the empty space high above the planet of Mimban. Nothing moved or disturbed the natural harmony of the planet's orbit around the sun. Despite the cold darkness there was nothing to stur the silence into submission. That is, there was nothing to stur the silence, until now. At this point in history, things were beginning to be set in motion that would change the silence forever. For the longest time the Jedi have been the keepers of the peace. Even when involved with wars, they had always kept a defensive and peaceful stance in their minds. While going on the offensive was needed at times, it was never in true aggression. During recent times though, the need of an offensive action had been lost. Often no matter what, the Jedi always prefered to defend rather than offend. At this point in history though, that would change. From hyperspace a convoy of transports exited high above Mimban. Having no defining marks on them, to the trained eye it was obvious that the ships were under the flag of the Republic and Jed Order. With no obvious offensive means, one might question the tactical value of such transports. In truth, with the funds the Jedi Order had at their hands, it was the best thing they could come up with in such a short time. The rest of the funds had been spent on the known methods of entering the dangerous atmosphere of the planet. All was set, and the Jedi/Republic attack now began. Soon others would follow. For now however the transportered entered the atmosphere and headed for the Sith Temple below. Mean while, other ships began to arrive....

From behind Hou-Jo, the old man known as Calen walked up. Although blind, he could sense the energy radiating from both the lightsaber, and HJP. "You would be wise to disengage that weapon dear one...."

From the pillars of rising smoke over the once Jedi Dojo, a tattered and torn figure slowly walks away from the debris. Staff in hand, Calen makes his way out of the choas and over to the gathering crowd. Checking around, he catchs up on the current injury toll and sighed, he never liked explosives. Seeking out BC, he managed to give a small smile and bow, "Thank you Master BC for your assistance...."

Feeling the hilt through the force, Calen constructed an image of it in his mind, "What was it that this bartender specificly said?"

Calen nodded, "My name is Calen Nova, I am the keeper of these grounds...."

From behind the new arrival, Calen walked out and sat next to him. Feeling the man through the force, the Jedi Master smiled, "Is there something I can help you with young one?"

The rocked hit Calen right on the forehead. With a smile he walked over, "Thank you padawan." Turning to those gathered in the courtyard he looked to everyone, "It is time we learn about a Jedi's most important weapon, the lightsaber. Will someone share with the group of what they know about it?" OOC: Sorry guys, I've had a few family matters to attend to.

Calen's hologram shifted as he spoke, "You do realize that the Jedi are far safer on the Vigilance than anywhere don't you? The ship is capable of diving to levels that the enemy can not reach...."

A message came from the Dojo to BC from Calen. The announcement of the jedi moving once again concerned him. As his hologram appeared before BC he bowed, "Excuse me master, but I have a concern. Why specificly are the Jedi running once again from their home?"

Calen continued to wait for the students in the courtyard. OOC: If you would mind actually posting your arrival, it makes it easier for me to see who is here and what not. Thanks!

Calen nodded in observation, "Your senses of each other is very focused. Good job to you both. Take a few minutes to rest and then meet me in the courtyard. The second session of class will begin soon." Through the force he reached out to all the hopefuls, "Report to the Courtyard for class...."

The sound of metal tapping the floor marked a new presence in the room. The presence had been watching the battle for several minutes, unfortunately it was time for class again. "Very interesting young ones. Your skills at combat are impressive. Please tell me what each of you observed of the other...."

Calen laughed, "His name is Drake. He runs the station, and he knows you are coming...."

Calen shook his head, "I'm afraid my duties here prevent me from leaving. My friend will help you though. Here are the coordinates." With that he handed her a padd with the coordinates to the Gateway on them....

Calen smiled, "Very well young one. I hope to see you again soon, the Jedi will always be open to you. As for a ship, I'm afraid that the Dojo only has the ships people who attend have brought. However, I have a friend that can supply you with any ship that you may require. If you take your ship to The Gateway, a ship will be awaiting for you...."

Calen laughed, "Perhapes the words to the wisdom aren't being found. Believe when I say, I'm not solemn. I merely leave the choice up to those who I think can handle something. The fact is I can't simply give you an answer, nor can I tell you what to do. If you feel that your friendship with your master is more important that what you have discovered here, then you should go." He turned to "look" out the window, "Yet from what I have gathered, you have mixed emotions. Tell me something, what was it that made you leave your master in the first place?"

"The situation you seem to be in has no easy answer. Although I have no idea about your former master, or the "other jedi", I can say this: Before you decide you must consider what you had there in the past, and what you have here in the present. Which ever is more important to you, will help you decide." Calen said looking to Eli....

Calen nodded as a sign of understanding. From the force, he could tell something was different about Eli when she stopped describing her story, "Are you alright?" He asked....

With an eyebrow raised, Calen walked about thinking, "Perhapes there is something you haven't said yet. There is information I'm missing from you, this being the story of which you have lived...."

Calen smiled, "Well, let me first say that I'm promoting you to full fledge worthless piece of slag. Congrats" With a chuckle the Jedi Master thought for a moment, "Parasite, maggot, worthless, all names the Sith have called us for generations. You could say that I have been calling you a Jedi all this time." He said with a smile. "Your training is done. Let me welcome you into the Order of the Jedi. Remember to serve the order with limitless honor. Pass on your knowledge with wisdom. And most importantly." He paused looking to Eli, "Follow your heart...."

Calen nodded, "From what I have gathered from you, I would agree in your statement: knighthood isn't far off for you. Perhapes what you need can't be found here at the Dojo. Instead, I believe you could find much wisdom with in a single master to train you." As they rounded a corner he continued to gather his thoughts, "Based off of what I observed of you during Neo's lesson, I could tell you took to his words much more than you did mine. It was interesting to read your body language, one may see a hint of tension in you when ever I 'added my own two cents' as it were. Obviously your needs are clear." Stopping infront of his quarters, he opened the door, "I'm sure you two have become aquinted. I think there is much you two can learn from each other." He said to Eli and Neo....

Calen nodded at Neo's comment, "Very well. Meet me in my private chambers when you have some time. There is much we need to do." With that he made his way to the front of the class, "Alright young ones, I hope you have learned much today. Tomorrow we will begin with your force training and fitness training. Until then, do what you wish." Moving over to Eli, the Jedi looked down, "I remember you wishing to speak with me when we had some time. Please walk with me." With that he began down the hall....

"You will also learn a few techniques to defend against the arts the Sith use most. They will come in useful whenever you may encounter a Sith." Calen added in....
