Lieutenant Macleod Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 OOC: Tristin I apologize, I did not pick up that you were controlling the ship from afar, I assumed wookiee jedi had full control. IC: Macleod activated his thrusters, but the shockwave shook his fighter. He spun wildly out of control away from Dagobah. He checked his comm link, and cursed his rotten luck. A large fraction of the Interceptors had been obliterated. Macleod ordered the few undamaged ones remaining to take the TIE fighters place in the Upper Atmosphere. The TIE fighters were to report immediately to his area. All of them. Until they came, Macleod would need to hold Tisserand off. He regained control of his ship. With the remainder of his squadron backing him, he made a direct run toward Mes's fighter. Fire erupted from both the Jedi and the Imperials. Macleod's wingman exploded, sending debris into his ship. He compensated, and took a wide turn with the battle scarred TIE for another run . . . Meanwhile, Dhan Jaroe Kenobi had managed to escape the Imperials. With the bombers taking care of the wookiees, several Firesprays engaged latched onto the back of the Jedi's fighter, turbolasers blazing. Spock felt a bit weak having to be carried out of the crash but he knew that he probably wouldn't have been able to get out by himself. Zero Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Dhan-Jaroe sensed the inexperienced firespray pilots following him. "Dang, they'll give a ship to anyone these days." ((Inexperienced meaning NPCs)) DJK zigged and zagged all over the planet contour, he got real close and 'ran over' a droideka. These pilots, smarter than the previous ones, followed him from a distance further from the ground. DJK went up higher right in front of them. They opened fire on him. He got hit several times, but it got absorbed by the shields. "These pilots aren't stormtroopers, but just as stupid." He turned on his side and deccelerated. He flew between and behind the fighters. He righted the ship and picked off two of the firesprays. The remaining fighers parted off and went into different directions, He chased the biggest group of 4 and the rest got back behind him firing at him again. He drops two mines behind his ships, the firesprays, not acknoledging what they were, assuming it was junk, hit them and exploded. He continued to chase the four firesprays. The maverick Jedi Knight passes them, and goes over to the access hatch's controls. With a press of a button, the hatch slides open. With all of the strength he can muster, Akturus then uses the Force to open the Imperial vessel's access hatch. Oxygen re-enters the Corellian freighter, and Akturus finds his strength returning to him, if only but a little. I appologize, however, I did post out running those fighters when you posted bombarding me with them. IC: Master Prophet stands from his seat as his ships speed made it sort of hard to move. The Jedi Master walks to the rear of the ship, entering the Meditation chambers aboard his ship. The room was circular, round in its ways, almost forming a sphere, as a chair raises from the center of the floor, Sly sits upon the ship. The twin Nav. computers pilot the ship, they were far more accurate than most pilots of any species. Sly sits upon his meditation chair, as his minds eye awakens, the depth of the world becomes much deeper, pushing into the forth dimension, Sly can see through time, seeing things that were, things that are, and things that have not come to pass. Using this, Sly tells the computers how to evade the uncoming ships as the Dark Two pushes faster and faster, the enemy ships nearly becoming dots, a good distance from harms way, Sly pushes the Dark Two farther away from battle. He smiles and goes back on a private comm.* " Ok boys lets get out of here." * They started off to space. They went slow but they saw a fleet of ties. Impede goes back on the comm.* "OKay. You two stay on my wing. Were going to flank them. Time to play a game of chicken." * Impede and the two hopefuls jet foward. The ties do the same. Impede fires as so as the other two. They take one out and the rest of the ties pull up ,but just flip and follow the jedi. Impede Trys to shake them but cant. * " Okay. Lets break up. Vrean you go left. Raul you go right. We will take each others out." * Impede goes foward. The tie behind him starts to fire. Impede does a barrel roll and dodges the blast. He sees Raul swoop below him. Impede dives and shoots the tie following teh hopeful. The tie explodes and Impede turns the comm back on.* " Ok 1 down 2 to go." * Raul continues to fly with Impede following with a tie on his tial. Raul hits the brakes and flips backwords. He gets behind the tie and shoots. He hits the ties wing and it goes spinning. Impede smirks for he knew it almost over. Raul gets back on Impedes left wing. They go after Vrean. Vrean was getting nervous for he was spinning out of control. Impede Raul get behind the the tie and they look at each other from there ships. They smile and do a crossing barrle roll. They fire and hit both of the ties wings. It loses control and blows up.* " Okay. Pulling up hard, Mes flips the ship over and finds himself right behind Macleod. You ought to learn from this one Macleod, take this as a learning experience... *Mes fires about 10 turbolasers from the dual cannons mounted on the wings, 3 of which find their spots near the right of Macleod's TIE's engine... Lieutenant Macleod Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Macleod's ship was hit hard, the firepower blowing through the TIE, and sending him spinning out of control. Macleod's ship floated through Space, crippled beyond repair. The Interceptors were on their way, but stumbled upon Sly Stevenson's escape attempt. The ships swarmed the Jedi Master. His Force ability allowed him to dodge with ease, but the pilots were becoming more desperate. The Interceptors now resorted to kamikaze efforts. Perhaps they couldn't destroy Stevenson, but they were able to block his path of escape herding him back towards Dagobah. Macleod's ship was vulnerable as Tisserand turned around for a final pass. Macleod's TIE squadron could not catch the Jedi's amazing piloting abilities. As Tisserand came closer to the damaged TIE, Macleod's voice came over the comm link. "This is the moment you've been waiting for Jedi, finish me. I am unarmed and cannot defend myself, it would be so easy for you to destroy me. I can feel your anger and hate, let it loose!" Orrick Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Orrick traveled with the Jedi across a barren battlefield that hours before had been filled with lasers and explosions. Smoke still rose from the smoldering bodies of droids, Jedi, and all sorts of debris. His heart sank more and more as he thought of how they would ever get off this remote planet. He trudged on and on, following the Jedi. But to where? The mountains? It would don no good. They would still be stuck here. As he gazed across the landscape, a hope began to form. Orrick's heart must've skipped a few beats. "OF COURSE!" At his quick outburst, the Jedi around him seemed to start. They all turned to Orrick, who was all smiles. He had formulated a plan in response to Spock. "The Firesprays..." The Jedi glanced off across the desolate battlefield. Dotting the plains were the smoking crashes of Firesprays. "We can rig up a few firesprays to fly. It's not much, but I think we could get several into working condition..." Post Number 168... Two Correllian Corvettes along with the Imperial Interceptor open fire on the Jedi Masters ship. He cannot hold out long here! ------ Hutt ships showing signs of wear from the weeks old battle finally recieve new resources and some new fuel cells. Bekka, get in your ship. We are taking it in." Vauler got into his TIE and had two firespray wingmen accompany Bekka and himself. They flew up close to the jedi master with ease, as no one was firing at him or Bekka. He sends a force message to Stevenson. "Jedi, why are you risking yourself for this sith lord? Do you plan to take him to Mimban and collect the bounty? You will be given the bounty and the sith will destroy you with him. He turned to Kirlocca the obvious leader of what was left ofr the jedi on the ground. "Master, what if we pertending to be a wounded enemy vessel and fly out of here without any fights. Couldnt we fix up one of those ships pretend we need to go back to Nal Hutta for repairs or something? If we could find a crew member who survived one of the crashes we could make him do the talking for us...use a mind trick or something. I mean if we tried to get out of this with force and look how that turned out. Do you think it could work? Its just a suggestion, if anyone can think of a better way to handle it Im all ears." Either way, we could put ourselfs in danger." *Kirlocca took a moment to eye all of them.* "If you all want to go through with this, then lets do it, but it might help if we bent the two plans together. Orrick, you can take a couple of people, and fix up one of those firesprays, and escort the landing ship out. We will have more of a chance to escape." Zero Posted January 12, 2004 Share Posted January 12, 2004 (edited) DJK destroyed one more firespray with his blasters. He then used the force to push one of the firesprays to the side. It hit one of the others and they both exploded. A piece of wreckage flew off and crashed through the fourth's windshield, hitting and instantly killing the pilot which then caused the ship to crash. He flew over towards Kirlocca and the others "There is a naboo ship i brought here with me, tow that out of here and bring it to the last call if you can." He flew off to draw attention from the survivors. He flew by the bombers, catching there attention. "Maybe i can get a few to follow me." DJK, I will give you the one firespray that you pushed with the force out of the way, but other then that you can not use the force in that ability to move all those ships. Jaina Solo and Kyp Durran had to combine their force abilitities in the NJO books to move one fighter sized ship in space. "When in doubt, Get the Hell out!!!" Akturus had gone though his ship being blasted with ion cannons, his ship being caught in a tractor beam, and his ship's life-support being blasted, for this? For a bunch of droids that wouldn't move? "I think this is the part where you guys apprehend me and take me to your leader, right? I did surrender. No, wait. Yes, crystal clear. I surrendered. Okay, droids that don't respond. I'm sure I'm expected to just stand here and wait for you to come alive, but I think I'll move along. I'll see you guys later." Akturus took a step back. Nothing happened. Akturus pretended to draw his weapon and slice at one of the droids. Nothing happened. Akturus whistled again, and after several long moments, he jumps at the access hatch's controls and seals the hatch shut. The maverick Jedi Knight then turns to his own droid companions. "No action today, my friends. You head back, while I see what I can do about this here ship." Akturus turns to a nearby storage unit, where he retrieves some strange white armor ”“ armor complete with a tank of oxygen. The maverick Jedi Knight puts it on and heads to the ship's controls. All I feel is the satisfaction of acheiving my goal, my knocking one more obstacle out of my way. I must say, that was quite a dogfight, and you are truly a pilot that deserves to fly another day. However, we are an order that will live to fight another day, and I suggest that you order all TIEs to let Master Stevenson pass, or they will face my wrath..." He listened to Kirloccas' orders and promtly went with Orrick to salvage another Firespray. He had a little experience at ship repairs, he hoped thay could find one not too heavily damaged. Just before he departed Rann turned to the jedi master and asked" Should we try to find find surviving crew members to take hostage. We need to convince the Hutts were allies. I advise you escape while you still can, the TIE's will catch up with us soon, and I will not hold them back. There is nothing you can do for Stevenson now Jedi." The Firesprays reform, it seemed Kenobi was trying to protect someone. They began to drop seismic charges over the area, not hitting Kirlocca or his friends, but coming awful close. The forests of Dagobah began to catch on fire. Kenobi was ordered to surrender or they would intensify the attack. "I will fight these Rebels face to face and I'll break them with my bare hands."
