Isolder gripped the Jedi's hand firmly. He was relieved someone in the Order had made it a point to welcome him. Other than BC and Skye he hadn't had much contact with Jedi.

"I'm Isolder, it's good to meet you. I'm truly sorry for the losses the Jedi suffered today. I can honestly say I haven't fought beside a braver group of warriors."

"I'm afraid to say that it may seem I'm not very brave," Ben'a replied, a somber note creeping into his voice. "During the attack, I was off training and picking up family heirlooms, and that was only after escaping from Sanity's End through some sort of miracle..."

He showed Isolder the lightsaber he had brought up from the depths of Kashyyyk, and explained briefly what significance the weapon bore. Ben'a felt as though he could relate fairly well to this man; he was unafraid of battle, to be sure, yet he was also perfectly sociable. Ben'a could also sense Isolder's isolation...it was a pity that many in the Order were too focused on their own issues.

"I would like to know more about you, and the Blademasters, if that is allright," Ben'a asked. Hopefully, they would have some time to get acquainted before the meeting started...

Onderin sent a Force-message back to Kira, "I don't know anything about this Renn character, but your instincts about Bounty Hunters are not unfounded. Allow the Force to guide you in a decision such as this."

However, for the moment, Onderin was sort of bored. While his apprentice took care of her duties, he found his own to be rather limited. Most of his work was with his squadron. He expected to find many things to speak of, many things to improve upon at this time after the battle. However, the battle had been so short, they really hadn't even gotten a good taste of combat.

The Jedi Knight submersed himself in the Force, hoping that it would tell him something, teach him something to take up the time he had now. He remembered some of the past times he had done this, one time creating a cyclone out of the dust of the room he had been in.

This time he was irritated at first when nothing seemed to be happening. But then he realized that the Force would only act when his mind was clear. Onderin let go of the restless and annoyed feelings that were inside of him.

Only then did the Force speak. It told him about his Master, Keiran. At first Onderin wondered why suddenly his thoughts had been turned to his old Master, but the Force made it clear. His Master was in danger. As long as Bounty Hunters were in his presence, he was in danger.

Though Onderin did not know why exactly Keiran was wanted, he must be worth a lot of money. The Jedi Master was too powerful for just anyone to go after him and expect to capture him. And some of the more powerful hunters were the ones after him.

He had the feeling that Piccolo was. The leader of the Black Sun had seemed to have good intentions, but had worked a little too hard to get in Keiran's squadron. Then there had been the Trandoshan Bles Trium, one he knew less well. And if what Piccolo had said was true, then even Faust was after Keiran.

Was there no obvious reason that Renn Hamis was here? Was he seeking Keiran as well. Onderin was not sure where his Master was now, but perhaps he needed to be told of continued attempts at his capture. The Force had indeed revealed something to him, Onderin realized, pulling himself out of the trance.

Dissapointed at being ignored, again, by the admiral, Johannes marches off to cool his heels, muttering angry breathings to himself in the silence of his own lifesuit.

The rebels, while less frustrating to deal with than Imperials, were definitely thick at times, he decided.

"Dang nerf herder," he concludes in regards to Admiral Black. Holding his small duffle bag over his shoulders, he approaches the door to the admiral's office, asking to speak with him and the Jedi. Johannes makes a loud and boisterous announcement, hoping he can be heard out this time.

Jurha watched as Ben'a flew away with no explaination leaving them planet side.

"Who does that bastard think he is?" Jurha snarled to her self. She stalked over to Aryian and Zeb who surveying the damage side by side.

Jurha crossed her arms and spoke to Aryian. "Ben'a trained you? I can't stand that man for five minutes I can't imagine reaching the rank of Knight under him. He's always leaving with out explaination, telling us to stay put. I hope all Jedi don't intend to treat me like such a child."

Jurha kicked a pile of rubble beside her in frustration. With the added aid of the Force her kick colapsed the pile and took down the pathetic remains of what use to be a wall.

Renn Hamis brought up a text file on his ship's computer. He jokingly dubbed it his "resume", a complete record of his history as a bounty hunter.

Unfortunately, most of that record consisted of bounties he had performed in the past for the Empire and even less reputable parties. He sincerely hoped that the Rebellion wouldn't hold it against him.

"First thing first, Calamari Cruiser." He took a deep breath. "I knew of the Rebel fleet's intervention in this system because I left a probe in orbit here... about 3, maybe 4 years ago." He fed them the coordinates of the probe. "Feel free to blow it up; I don't have any more use for it." Heck, he didn't even expect it to remain functional all these years.

"Basically, the probe picked up a volley of missile fire close to planet surface. I already knew that there was a Jedi Academy on the planet, so I put two and two together, and figured that a Rebel fleet would be coming in to intercept.

"As for my history..." Renn felt tension building up in his shoulders, and took a deep breath. "Over the past few years, I've worked on-and-off for the Empire, and partly as an Independent. My last assignment," he gulped. "I worked as a Jedi Hunter." There, I said it. Now I'm dead.. Granted, he didn't even get the chance to fire a single shot at the Jedi who escaped him on Ilum, but that probably didn't make a difference.

"Mon Calamari Cruiser, I know this sounds bad, and you probably think I'm going to betray you to the Empire first chance I get. But I'm ready to, ah," he winced at how stupid this was going to sound. "To... turn over a new leaf. And unless you're going to blow me out of space, I'm going to do it, somehow."

"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"

As the jedi and others mingled amongst themselves, Black sat contently waiting for one of the most important members to arrive. Gantoris.

As he sat patiently listening intently to the jedi's tales a scuffle of sorts coule be heard outside of the door. Black claspings his finger tips together raised his index finger. At the site, his trio of guards rushed the door to make sure it safe.

The camera feed examined, one of Blacks guards nods to the admiral across the room. "It's one of ours sir says the man through his mandalorian uniform. The soldiers trained by Rane, were obedient enough to Black, but he still did not fully trust them after what the bounty hunter had pulled.

"Let him in then," Black said as he laid his hands to rest on the clear elongated conference table in the middle of the room.

Ahh Johannes Berlioz Black thought to himself. He'd been reading up on rebellion personel files. This upstart had much spunk to him. As the young man rushed in, Black motioned for him to come over to his seat.

As Ben'a waited for Isolder to respond to his query, he cast an interested eye upon Admiral Black. The three Mandalorian bodyguards that had surrounded him were bolting toward the door, and almost dragged in an unfamiliar-looking man clad entirely in a life-support suit. As the two conversed in hushed tones, the Jedi Knight surreptitiously extended his Force-sense, touching the minds of the men at the far end of the wardroom. And he didn't like what he felt there.

The Admiral was feeling agitated about something, something that had happened very recently. Intent on finding out what this could be, Ben'a delved deeper, and came across the fleeting image of a helmeted man, many armor-clad troopers, and the horrifying results of yet another battle. After taking in this information, the Jedi turned his focus onto the newcomer; this man seemed distinctly perturbed, like he had been deliberately left out of the loop. He also got a sense of this man's eager lust for battle, and for the bottle, something that he would have to watch out for if this man was to accompany Ben'a into combat. But there was something else, as well...

But what he felt from the three guards was the most disturbing of all -- they were not so much guarding, as they were buying time. Someone had to be told of this, because if what he was thinking would happen, the Rebellion, and by extension the Jedi, would be that much worse off...

Arriving late as usual BC exited his ship and entered Black's. Moving quickly he made his way to the room that his collegues were weated in. He sat at the round table and opned the discussion.

We were slow to move on the Empire, but I do not feel the chance is gone. SEED is presenting a problem and must be dealt with right away.

His speech stoic and flawless Gantoris commanded the presence of all as he spoke.

For to long we have been dormant, for too longw e have bene slow to act. We must be swift and merciless, or victory will slip through our fingers. I currently have Jedi assisting our cause, but I will need more.

*Kirlocca sat down as Ara began to start the ship up.*

"Well then, I have some good news...and some bad news."

*Kirlocca breathed out before he began anything.*

"Bad news is that the jedi seem to be falling apart. Jedi don't seem to care about what their leaders are saying anymore."

*The wookiee made eye contact before he went on.*

"Good news is, that we are about to make a strike on the Imperials and drive them running even more then what we already did...and I can understand if you don't want to be apart of it, since most jedi don't want apart of it, But all I ask is that you drop me off on the Admirals ship, and stay and listen to what Gantrois has to say."

The Strife Reborn popped out over Borleis, Keiran at the controls. He veered the small starfighter straight for the jedi hangar and landed it on his private landing pad with no hesitation. He then proceeded to a meeting where he saw many of his jedi collegues listening to their master, BC. Keiran stood at the edge of the room, silent.

"I beg yer' pardon sirs," Johannes says, "but Jedi might be a lie-a-bill-ity on Coruscant." The helmeted man speaks up, his face concealing life support suit rasping with a steady beat. "In'a case any a you didn't feel it, I'm something of a null-force type. Due to some of the Empire's bantha poodooing around, which incidentially stuck me in this tin can, there are others like me who have this ability. I'm a hazarding a guess there's others like me on that rock, wait'en for you to come at 'em."

Ara frowned.

"Not listening to their leaders how? As in they don't want to fight, or just being obstinate?" She rolled her eyes and began punching buttons on the ship's console. "I will gladly help fight, Kirlocca. I'm rather through with being the pacifist. Not that I look for a fight," Ara added as an afterthought. "I'm still a better healer than fighter, but I'll do what I can."

Isolder responded to Ben'a before the discussion began.

"It happens, what matters is you are here to fight now."

Isolder was somewhat surprised Ben'a had pegged him as a Blademaster, but many others knew now, and word traveled fast.

"I would be more than happy to tell you what I know after the meeting."

Isolder listened intently as BC and the others began. He honestly didn't see how they had the man power to assault SEED itself, let alone the Empire. But he waited, hearing them out.

Johannes reaches into his duffle bag and pulls out a thick bottle of hard liquor. Opening up a small patch in his suit's left arm, he pours it in there. A short second later, he gives out a loud belch, echoing inside his helmet.

"Shucks Master Gantoris," Johannes replies. "While taking out SEED is a priority, ain't then in some mobe-ile base 'er what not? How'z we gonna find them? Granted they are evil sons a nerf herders, but Geki ain't gonna be easy to russle out."

He fiddles around with his duffle bag a bit more, putting the booze back and reattaching the cap presumably, as an audible *click* is heard inside it. He then lets out another belch.

"Firepower isn't a question. We can blast 'em like a turbolaser tak'en out a nest o' womp rats. It's gonna be mighty tough to get em in our sights so we need to ask if there's a way we can pin down his locale and corral 'em into our net. Now," he explains lazily in his laid back accent. "the way I a' see it, that big ol' rock of his can't have too many places it can travel in 'yperspace without running into gravity interference, 'cause only a few hyperspace lanes coulda' hold that kinda mass. If we can find out where it was at only one time, we can probably route out its next stops and give chase, ya' know what I mean?"

Johannes gives out a deep, friendly belly laugh, and behind his tinted eye masks, there's a soft blue sparkle. "We can send out our posse an' rope this poodoo brained psycho yet," he concludes, "but first, I need to use the men's room. I think I shouldn't a drank so much last night." Stumbling up, he nearly trips over his own duffle bag, which he kicks aside into a corner of the room, then makes a dash for the door and dissapears down the hall, clutching his stomach with both hands.

"Gang way!" he yells. "Fire in the hole!"

Isolder's words had given the Jedi Knight a new dose of resolve; he was right, the fact of the matter was that Ben'a Solo was here, and he would fight. It mattered not what he had missed, but what he would soon participate in. With a grim nod, he muttered his thanks to the Blademaster.

Whlie this Berlioz character had made his speeches, lecturing about this and that, waxing philosophically about what dastardly things the Empire or SEED would have in store for the Jedi, Ben'a kept his mind's eye fixed firmly on him. He knew nothing of these "null-force" soldiers of which the masked man spoke, but the Jedi sensed nothing out of the ordinary, considering the physiological state of the man. Quite the contrary -- he got the distinct impression that Berlioz was hiding something -- something big. After the man had left, beating feet quickly for the nearest restroom after indulging too much of whatever it was he had been drinking, Ben'a rose and strode over to the door. With a series of button presses on the input console, he sealed the door to the wardroom.

But as he begins to go back to the wardroom table, he notices Berlioz's bag lying there....in a sudden flash, he knows what to do...

"GET THAT BAG OUT OF HERE!"

In a flash, he unseals the door, grabs the duffel (which is surprisingly heavy), and runs towards the nearest airlock, aided by the Force. Gritting his teeth furiously, he works the mechanism, shoving the bag into the chamber roughly, sealing it, and ejecting the thing into space. It begins to spin towards the planet. With a sigh, he heads to the nearest intercom, and senda a message throughout the ship.

"All personnel, be on the lookout for Vladimir Faust! He may be in disguise!"

Kira had a hard think about his 'resume', at least he was being honest about it, that was one thing.

"Scan for that probe"

"Picking up a probe at those co-ordinants." Kirana gave the nod to retrieve the probe, it would be interesting to see what was on it.

"Send an escort out to bring Mr Hamis in."

--Comm to Renn Hamis--

An escort will arrive to escort you in. Do not deviate from this course. Once you are brought on board you will be met by a Jedi who will scan you.

--end comm--

One of the crew that had been monitoring the homing beacon signalled for her attention.

"We've located where the Shadow Strike has surfaced. It is in a hyperspace location that seems to be in the middle of no where. I'd be willing to bet that it is at Sanity's End."

"Good job ensign. Prepare the fleet, we're going after them."

Through the force she sent a message to her Jedi Master...

"Onderin, two tasks. Once Renn Hamis is on board scan him with the Force to see what his intent is. Second, ready Halo Force for battle. We're going after SEED"

--Comm to Admiral Black and Master BlckClone--

Code named Alpha 2, I say again... Code named Alpha 2

Am readying the fleet for mobilization to these co-ordinants. (co-ordinants entered here for location where homing beacon is located)

Kira Out

--end comm--

She awaited responses from several areas.

BC jolted from his seat as the commotion before him went on. He heard the comm from Kirana Sunrider. As he jumped from his seat he opened up his comm to Sunrider.

See to it the fleet leaves now, we cannot wait for this.

Closing the comm BC looks to Black.

We will come aboard this ship, ready a transport for the Jedi aboard with me. Upon arriving I want to be dropped down, this begins now!!!

BC opens his comm to all Jedi on Borleais.

Ready yourselves and follow the Rebel fleet. We are beginning our operation now!

*Kirlocca frowned as Ara talked about it, and he thought about it.*

"It's more along the line of...they just won't listen. They will listen if their safety has been compromised. Which is really sad if you think about it."

*The wookiee looked into her eyes and searched her soul.*

"A healer in the mist of battle is strength, Ara. They are the ones who keep jedi knights on their feet, and keep them moving."

*The wookiee smiled at her.*

"You know that you are one of the few jedi masters who really don't know what your doing, right?"

A fighter escort streaks out from the Shatterpoint and brings Hamis in. Once docked he is greeted by an armed contingent of troops and Hamis is taken to an isolated room to be searched and scanned.

~~ Back on the bridge ~~

"Send a message back to Master BlckClone that we're leaving now."

Kira waited for a moment before turning to her bridge crew, giving the order to move into Hyperspace. Streaks of light flash past the Shatterpoint as it moves into hyperspace, closely followed by the rest of the fleet.

At Master Gantoris' announcement, Ben'a made his way hurridly back to the wardroom, hoping to find the Jedi Master, as well as the Alliance's Admiral Black, quickly. His suspicions had been right, and they must be alerted. All around him, klaxons were blaring and personnel were running about the corridors of the massive Viscount-class Star Defender. This was it, they were heading out to do battle at long last.

Again calling upon the Force to boost his speed, the Jedi Knight raced along, deftly skirting Rebel troopers and technicians on his way to where the Master of the Order stood. When he arrived back at the wardroom, he blurted out what he had to say...

"That man, Berlioz...[pant, pant]...was Faust! He's on board!"

((While applaud people finding out my little traps in RP, I have a serious beef with Goodwood's latest post as circa 7:21 central its content and ending was something entirely different- suspicious yes, but ignoring both the bag, (which I confess, does have a large bomb in it with which I intended to kill quite a few RPers) and the knowledge that Johannes is Faust was again no where explicitly stated. I believe our last RP mod, BHM spoke out rather strongly against editting and altering ones posts after the text is dry so to speak- there are several RPers who saw the original and I have saved our AIM convo in which you admitted to changing it.

I would like some mod remedy this this agregious display of poor sportsmanship and bad RPing- in that the everything after the first two paragraphs of his post be nulled as they were not in the original post. Unless directed otherwise, I shall resume as if this alteration did no occur, giving ample time still for some reaction from the RPers affected- hoping they don't abuse this OOC revelation))

Whistling to himself, Berlioz makes his way down towards the hangar, where his ship was waiting for him. Suprisingly, he no longer carries his limp, walking with a steady gait through the halls.

15 seconds to go...

ooc: I don't see how editing his post before anyone else posted is a problem. You had time to post accordingly. What can change if he edited and reposted that same post after Kirana. I understand the reasoning that you shouldn't edit the post after you have posted it, sans grammar or wording, but even if it is nulled he can still post it after Kirana posted. I am going to have to think about this, it is a difficult situation to judge. With Chrissie away giving birth and me the only mod available I may have to rule even though im involved. PM me Robbie so we can discuss this, because as of right now I fail to see how nulling the edited version of Goodwood's post would change that he could simply have posted it after Kirana posted her post or after I posted.

With more beating feet, Ben'a did an about-face and sprinted off to the hanger deck. Boarding his vessel quickly, he powered it up with all the speed he posessed, and took off, gliding out of the hanger without his usual grace.

Following the perscribed course set by the fleet, he sent the ship into hyperspace...
