True to her words, Jaina didn't wait for him. Turning from where she had felt his presence, she skulked along the sidelines of the battlefield and the battle itself that had winded down quite nicely. At a slight jog, she re-entered the tower, making her way back up to the control room where Raynuk and her sister still waited.

*Raynuk tried to act like he didnt notice the fact that Jaina had run out of the tower earlier...But his mood gave it away as she returned. He was focused on the controls before him, but spoke to her in hushed tones*

"THat felt good didnt it Jaina? Killing a Jedi..." He said, not bothering to divert his eyes. He felt it in her, the fact that she was accepting her spot as a Sith again, and that her own misconceptions and fears were dissapearing more and more by the minute.

But the thing that stood out the most was her connection to Andon.

"You know...I let that Jedi land Jaina, I didnt bother turning the turbolasers on him..."

*KR looked a little put off. He couldn't seem to get much done. He hoisted his hammer back over his shoulder and looked around for something to do. Kakuto found everyone to be busy going about their own tasks. KR had noticed that almost all of the Sith had bailed- escaped to do another task. KR found it odd that in such a time the Sith would just up and leave. He didn't concern himself with such oddities. He had to stay focused on the task at hand. Sadly, there wasn't much of a task at hand to focus on. KR found himself standing around. KR whipped a knife a a child, tearing through his skull and ending his life instantaneously. He figured if he didn't have a job to do, he'd pull an Ar-Pharazon. Maybe there was some reason why AP did it all the time. That is, a reason other than it being really fun...*

Her eyes turned down from where they had been silently watching him.

"I know," she said quietly. "Thank you."

Jaina's back turned to him, as she faced Ashley, leaning against the wall.

"I, uh, wanted to thank you for how tolerant you've been of me, Raynuk," she began. "This transition could have been made a lot harder, yet you chose to let me handle it in my time, in my way."

Tilting her head sideways, she gazed at him, biting her lip, keeping in the emotion. "That's the first time I've ever killed anyone..."

*Raynuk kept his eyes on the monitors, observing everything as he replied*

"Well it wont be your last either Jaina."

*Without even looking, Raynuk reached into his cloak and threw her lightsaber to her over his shoulder*

"I figure thats a good reward for killing your first Jedi...And as for me 'tolerating' you..."

*For the first time since he entered the control room, Raynuk turned and looked at Jaina with a smile*

"...you know how I feel about you."

Jaina's breath caught in her throat as the slender cylinder made its way through the air in a perfect arc to land quite ominously in the palm of her hand. Her thumb traced the outlining metal that marked the hilt of the weapon, the hard edge feeling cool and refined against her skin. Yet the pounding in her heart had nothing to do with regaining her lightsaber. Looking back up into his eyes, a faint smile escaped her.

"Do I, now? I don't seem to recall you ever saying anything." Her eyes were teasing, taunting, as she gazed into the depths of his: willing him to do something but unwilling, themselves, to move.

*Raynuk smiled and turned back to the controls, playing her little game to a T. He knew how to manipulate both people and words for evil, and now he got the chance to play around with them for fun.*

"You have the inate ability to make me absolutely speechless when I look into your eyes Jaina."

He smiled and pushed a few minor buttons*

"That and I assumed the kiss on Korriban gave it away."

*He turned again with a smirk*

"Or shall I refresh your memory?"

*Kakuto looked around. Nope, nobody had anything for him to do. KR closed his eyes and called out through the force, asking for his ship to join his side. To most, calling a ship through the force seemed fair to moderately stupid, but once it appeared, the stupidity left the situation. The Angelic ship, called Loki, shot down from the sky. It had arms and legs, a head, and wings, appearing human in shape. The ship hovered over head, and with a nod of KR's head the ship's chest area opened, revealing the pilot's seat- if what KR used to pilot it could be called a seat. KR jumped up and the ship manuevered around him, catching him, and then closed around him. Without time to think another throught the ship changed direction and then headed off into space...*

Skye clutched her head in her hands, bereft of the link she had shared with her brother”¦ he was gone and there was nothing, nothing she could do about it. The emptiness where she had felt her sibling's connection left an ache that she was not sure how to deal with. When she had felt the passing of Ben'a & Keiran on Hoth, she had not felt this same intense feeling of emptiness, nor when BC became one with the force a few short hours before Nahstaa. No, this was something different entirely. She was struggling to deal with her grief, even though she knew she had to. He will be back”¦ Ben'a and Keiran got cloned and they are here now”¦ so he will be back”¦ Logic began to circle within her mind before she heard her Master's voice”¦

Gene walked through the field, there was nothing to do, so he went to his ship. Noticing 2 jedi next to eachother he walked up to them, smirking maliciously. Then walked away heading torwads his ship, it wasn't honorable to strike down a downed opponet, and even though he was sith his old code kept him from doing that and more. Although he felt strange recently, calmer, ever since he got that crystal off Korriban, he lifted it and looked at it, amazingly the colors of red and black switched to blue and green. Gene kept walking, slowly now, and concentrated on hate, the crystal shifted back to red and black, then just as quickly he lost his hate and it turned back blue and green. Not trully a good sign for him he thought as he walked on, realizing he only moved a few feet away from the two jedi.

Keiran stood as he watched Tares close his eyes, Keiran then reached into his utility belt and pulled out a small emergency syringe. Keiran pushed the syringe into Tares and extracted a sample of blood, promising to resurrect the great master if Skye's attempts failed. Keiran placed the syringe safely into his utility belt and patted Skye on the shoulder.

"Good luck"

Keiran then stood and looked around at the remaining jedi, noting the tragic losses that the group had suffered.

"A ship eh..."

Keiran reached out with the force, trying to find the telltale signs of a mining outpost where the natural ground had been disturbed. However Keiran sensed something completely different... the resurrected presence of BC.

"He's back... I'm sure he'll get us off this rock in no time"

Keiran sat back down and tried to relax, knowing BC would be coming to the group's rescue.

His ship screeched out of hyperspace over Mimban. As it prepared to enter the atmosphere BC readied the extra ship protection chips. Slowly taking it through the dangerous Mimban atmosphere. He landed in an open area close to where he felt his fellow Jedi. They all knew he was there as he sent a orce message.

Come quickly I am here to bring you all home.

"What did you tell me of persistance," he thought to himself, "never give up until the end and even in that final moment beg to fight just a little bit longer."

His hallowed walk through the woods towards the presences of the other Jedi he felt was a difficult one, but not physically...rather mentally. He was still unsure why he risked breaking through the atmosphere in a regular ship, the act was pure suicide yet in the moment he didn't care. Turns out his Master was right, during the tide of battle emotions need to be kept in control , for his judgement had been clouded. He landed only to say good-bye to a friend and help his Order in any way he could, and much to his surprise the former gave him the cold shoulder. Darkness tainted us all to a certain extent, but it could never truly consume a being nor could the light inside ever be vanquished entirely.

Though he was only an apprentice he felt beyond his years somehow, like his natural calling had finally found him and he was reveling in its glory...but this place was no glory. All around him the rancid feeling of death and sorrow reached outward to his mind in an attempt to corrupt it, but as he walked with his black hood covering his eyes no outside interference could touch him. He'd tracked her presence across the slaughtering grounds and into a looming tower where another dark being met her, strangely feelings of compassion emanated from both towards each other. His eyes focused as another presence peaked through the Force, that of Ashley Jade and already her aura was being tainted as well; this was truly a day of failure.

As his walk led him to the point of interest, three presences appeared from nothingness and the apprentice instinctively reached for his lightsaber, but to his delight they were three Jedi. The ceremonial grounds were drenched in impurity and in return all within its grasp gave off a slight notion of darkness and malice. On the ground lay a Jedi Andon had never seen before and tending to his wounds was a female Jedi who's face was unfamiliar as well. Turning his head slightly he caught sight of a Jedi Knight he had seen at the briefing before the Battle of Coruscant...Keiran was it, Andon wasn't sure; the day had played quite a toll on his mind.

Upon further inspection of the man's wounds he had received quite a jolt of electricity, Force Lightning no doubt, and he was in pretty bad shape. Approaching the three he quickly removed his black cloak and placed it over the fallen man's body from the neck down. Adjusting his hazel gaze he caught the eyes of the female attending too him.

"He's in shock, it'd be best to try to keep him as warm as possible," he said softly.

Now clad in only his black tunic, dark silver undershirt and black pants he made his way over to the Jedi Knight sitting down a few feet from the pair and knelt crouched beside him, his eyes ever trained on a Sith Apprentice not far from them. Still keeping his eyes locked he spoke to the Knight.

"Any bright ideas how to get off this planet? We could take my ship," he said pointing off towards the crash site, "but it's that flaming pile of wreckage over there in the distance."

Maintaining the silence that had surrounded her through most of the ordeal, Ashley stared at the monitor as she had been directed. Suddenly, a blip appeared on the edge, moving steadily inward. Ashley glanced over her shoulder at Raynuk and Jaina, a smirk crossing her face before she called out to them. "Save the romance. We've got a ship surface-bound. A big one. And I'm guessing it's Jedi."

*Ashley's words brought reality slamming back into Raynuk's mind. He quickly spun in the chair and looked at the monitor, but one look and he knew it was too late. There was little he would be able to do except maybe scare it off, but Raynuk had neglected the defence of Mimban.

He pushed the few buttons it took to start the Turbolasers fireing, and waited...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Just before Blackclone's ship landed, the sky errupted with red laserfire aimed at the ship. But by then it was too late, the turbolasers didnt get a lock in time before the ship dissapeared behind the trees. The whole course of events only took five seconds.*

Orrick watched from his cokpit as so many things happened in quick seccession. First Leo tried to break through the atmosphere... and then Andon! All that remained above the clouds was Orrick and Hale... and their chances for taking on a whole little fleet of headhunters was greatly reduced. But luckily for the pair of Jedi Knights, it never came to that stage in the fighting. Instead, the two patiently waited, ever ready, but ever thoughtful. Before long, Sith ships took emerged from the clouds below, and took off in different directions. But still the Jedi Knights waited. Then, out of hyperspace, a new ship emerged, carrying not a dreary darkness, but a beacon of light. BLCKCLONE had returned to pick up the Jedi remaining on the surface. While the ship dissapeared into the clouds of the storm, Orrick opened up his mind to the Force, and sent a message to the Jedi below... in particular BC.

"Hale and Orrick await you're return to space, where we will eagerly fill the role of escort for the trip back home... until then, I'm afraid we can't be much help..."

With a roar in the skies above, the apprentice's head snapped to the attention as his eyes caught that of a ship breaking through the atmosphere. It moved quite fast for its size and as vollies of turbolaser fire filled the horizon, all of them missing, he instantly knew it was a vessel here to rescue them. As the repulsor lifts of the ship scorched the ground underneath it's reach the landing ramp lowered and instantly a familiar face emerged, that of Master Gantoris. As he gave word for them to evacuate the planet Andon's spirits raised, but at the same time his heart sank...he wanted to leave and yet he didn't.

In the end the Jedi in Andon won the struggle and he rose to his feet and moved over to the injured Jedi Master laying on the ground. It wouldn't be good to move him, but to leave him still would only make his condition worse...either way he wouldn't be walking away from this under his own power. Kneeling beside the female Jedi he further wrapped his cloak around him and placing his arms underneath of him, Andon hoisted him over his shoulder as gently as he could and began walking towards the ship. Going up the landing ramp he quickly looked for a place to put him down and noticing a cluster of three seats together that could serve as a bed, he easily lowered him onto it.

The apprentice wished he could help further, but he didn't know anything about healing...Master Akturus had trained him purely as a warrior and a survivor. The one thing he did know how to do was energy manipulation, the transfering of the Force from one thing to another. Placing his hand over the man's feintly breathing chest the Padawan summoned every resolve of Force knowledge he had, his mind reaching outward around him drawing the mystic energy field into his body and channeling it into the weakened Jedi's body. Though he had no knowledge of healing he hoped that the Jedi Master's sub-conscious being could use the newfound body to heal his wounds or atleast slow the bleeding until medical attention could be administered.

Keiran followed Andon as the apprentice carred Master Tares onto the ship. As Keiran approached the ramp he locked eyes with Master BC and nodded. Without a word Keiran entered the ship and came back out with a blaster carbine he had found in the ship's armoury.

"Master BC, I'll protect the rest of the jedi as they board, please prepare the ship for takeoff. You're death, Nom's death and Master Tares' injury are heavy on everyone's mind, so heading home is what we all want."

Keiran dropped to one knee and brought up his blaster carbine to eye level, keeping it there as he swept the area around the ship, making sure only jedi boarded.

Hale Akturus was pleased to once again feel the presence of his first master, and close friend, BLCKCLONE - the Jedi Master truly proved that there is no death, only the Force. The blue and white V-19 Torrent starfighter piloted by Akturus circles around the chrome and white ship piloted by Orrick, primed and ready for anything. From this point, Akturus and his companion would escort the rest of the Jedi back to Manaan...

Leo could feelthe ship breaking up around him. He knew there was only one chance to survive, and that was to jump. He looked behind him and saw nothing but dark skies. Hehad to be below the atmosphere. Leo unstraps his crash webbing and turns around. He takes a big gamble and dives out the back.

Leocould sense some very powerful Forcepresenceson the planet as well as some weak ones. He delves deep down within himself and sends out a very powerful Force message. A message so strong that everyone on the planet could hear him.

Please Jedi. This is Leonardo Stovachi. I am falling from the atmosphere and need assistance. I will do what I can to slow myself, but I desperately need help. Orrick and Hale. your help would be greatly valued. Please, I promised mywife I would return to her. I have two sons on the way. Once I am on the ground, I can help the rest of you in any way I can.

Leo could feel his strength drained after that message, but he had enough to begin to slow himself. The "Jedi" reaches for more strengthand uses the Force as hands to grab his legs and begin to slow himself down, but he needed more than himself to do it. He only hoped the Jedi would help him as he wanted to do for them.

His mask now covering his face, and acting as part of his jaw the large master spoke.

Come quickly my Jedi! We do not have much time.

BC waited with the ship powered up for the Jedi to come.

*Raynuk watched the events unfolding infront of him on the controls. The Jedi had gone through far enough at the hands of Bishop, who was no longer even alive at this point. So there was little reason for Raynuk, as the highest ranking Sith on the planet, to persue the Jedi further.

Pushing the comm button, Raynuk sent a comm to Blackclone's ship

"Greeting again Master Blackclone. Do not worry about your exit of Mimban...I will let you pass freely. I have no reason to persue you this day and force the Jedi and Rebellion's hand apon Mimban. I have no want for that....You will be granted free access through the defence grid...and I can even help you with the atmosphere."

Pushing another button, a section of the atmosphere was forced open by unseen and unknown powers...allowing the ship a hole through the tormenting storms.

Looking back to what was left of the ceremonial grounds, he saw a few Sith still poking around, but not the one he was looking for Damn him, where is Impious? I have a use for him...

Sending out a Force message, Raynuk connected with the younger Sith

Impious, I have a job for you before we head to Selonia...

Raynuk's mind was now running through a series of events, of processes and actions. The next of which was to contact the Hutts on Tatooine to get their support for Raynuk's needs.*

The message ran through his head. Impious stopped his ship and rose his hand and placed it to the side of his head. He replyed to Raynuk with a smile on his face.

You rang? What this job you speak of? Maybe a search and destroy.

Impious leaned back and crossed his arms waiting for a reply. He hasnt been sent on a mission in a long time.
