Mimban

Another of the numorus starfighters winked into existance above the Sith planet of Mimbian. The Force immidiately took up a deathy taint that Nom was all too familiar with. The Force infested with the Dark Side was like water infected with dirt. The Sith had the unnatural ability to seep their pungent influence on the most purest of soles. They thrived on pain, using it to power themselves, be it their own or some one elses. Thats what makes them espcially tricky to deal with. But Nom Anorus has fought Sith before. That was his job. It was what he was made for.

The Jedi Master could feel the stank echoes of the dark side radiating even around the empty space surrounding Mimbian. He had only attacked the Sith stronghold once before, and that was weeks after he first became a Jedi Knight. The horrid stench was all too apparent then as well.

Coordinates and orders came flooding in to his ships computers, giving him every concievable detail he would need to know about the attack. He found bit about Mimbian's atmosphere to be especially useful. He couldn't help but feel quite luck that his ship was in the condition that it was currently suffereing. Nothing else would have motivated Nom to take a Jedi starfighter rather than his own creation.

Nom's ship entered the atmosphere, following the others that were desending towards the surface. Fortunately the Rebel fleet above was causing plenty of support fire in order to make a successful landing on the planets surface. The Jedi Master was quick to activate the advance shields that came built into the fighter, giving his ship the ability to cut through the atmosphere like butter.

Nom brought his ship down close to the surface and noticed several Jedi starfighters already down there. He opened up a channel to the leader of the ground forces. "Master Kirlocca, this is Master Anorus, where do you want me?"

Shawn was suprised battle had come so soon to him, his training incomplete he did not know what would confront him. Such was the lot in life, suprises around every corner and you had but one choice; deal with them. He sat in his quarters during the journey, going over what moves he did know. He used his hilts to act out the movements he had been trained, preparing for the fight ahead.

His Force ability he tested on the objects he could find around, enhancing what little skill he had to be effective in quick action. He had been in a few fights before, but his opponents didn't have lightsabers or the abilities of the Force. A whole new set of rules applied, he had to gauge his opponent quickly and carefully; defend from their blows until he understood their techniques and found weakness. A last test of his lightsabers assured him they would not fail in battle; the only thing he worried about failing in battle was himself.

He felt the ship dropping out of hyperspace, all he knew was that they had come to Mimban, some Sith homeworld. There wasn't exactly time for a stellar map lesson on the way. Armiena's Force messaged reached his mind, it carried a tone of seriousness he had never heard from her before. He quickly sent a reply as he gathered his things, his sabers and his cloak among a few other things he kept with him for luck.

His reply was simple and to the point. "I understand, master."

Feeling the increasing amount of force signatures dropping out of hyperspace, nahstaa realised that things were going to come to close combat, and decided he needed to prepare himself. The odds of the up and coming battle would be heavily weighed against him, so he decided that he needed to level the playing field a little...

Moving out of his ship, nahstaa made his way down to the armoury, raiding a few different parts, along with a few other substances he would need. Staying in the armoury, he began altering various parts of his two devices, modifying them to allow for the different properties they would have to deal with. Carrying them up to his workshop, he decided it was definately time to put his armour on. Opening the front of the armour, he stepped back into it, before allowing the scales to encase him once again, and the armours neural link to connect itself to him. Bringing all of the systems online, he fitted his helmet over his head, before stowing his weapons in various compartments.

The device he had set the workshop to building was nearing completion, and would only require a few more moments work before it was ready for use. He looked forward to trying it out.

Seleck was suddenly woken from his dreamless sleep by the comm anouncement he had no idea what was going on but he knew it was time for his first real taste of combat.

Seleck pulled on his robes and snatched his vibroblade from under his matress and headed for the door of his room grabbing a thick trenchcoat as he left and putting it on hastily as he ran down the corridor in serch of the other Sith his masters teachings echoing in his mind.

OOC: You're joking, right, Martin? It'd take more than an hour for thirty-so turbolasers to bring down an MC90a.

IC: Finally someone on the surface got control of the remaining weapon systems and gave a concentrated stream of turbolaser fire guidance at one of the MC90a's in orbit. It was much more effective than the scattered fire before, and it managed to wear down one of the ship's shield arrays. It entered a slow roll that offered a fresh set of shields, however, and remained unscathed.

Downloading a still more detailed targeting map, the large Alliance ship and its allies were then capable of pinpointing turbolasers and began a systematic destruction of them, three cruisers finding that it only took a matter of fifteen seconds to destroy as many turrets. The fourth cruiser maintained bombardment of the Sith Temple, working to further reduce it to slag.

Had the Imperial Fleet been here, there may have been a chance of saving the Sith Temple. However, since it appeared at the Sith's only allies were taking their good sweet time in arriving, there was little chance the Temple could be saved.

Finally, the escorted and shielded transports began landing and unloading several battalions of a hundred troopers each. Each was well-armed and equipped, capable of braving Mimban and battling through Imperial stormtroopers or whatever other ground defenses the Sith had in place. The Jedi would handle the Sith themselves.

The K-wings received updated orders. They swept low to the ground and employed proton torpedoes and other warheads to destroy still a few more turbolaser turrets before heading back for space.

One of the transports did not carry troops, but ground-based turbolasers and Ion cannon of its own. Tech and gunnery crews worked to set them up as fast as they could. Large generators were unloaded. The guns would have limited ammunition, but they would provide aid in their concentrated, fire-linked array if the Imperial Navy decided to show up.

Barton split his train of thought, using the force to aid him in successfully keeping two trains of thought at once. One portion of his thought was devoted entirely to the chaotic technique Kakuto had taught him. The other was focused on finding each and every Sith that had not reported to his location. For each one that did not follow him here, added to the chance of death for everyone.

Trowa quickly sent a force message to a few select acolytes, informing them to join him and keep watch. He would know if someone was approaching him much faster if one of the acolytes died.

He could feel the presence of light growing above him in orbit and here on the ground. He made sure that his spheres where rotating him at an alarming speed incase anyone tried to sneak up on him in the darkness. He sent a brief force message to Shy and any Sith that was now around him or nearing him.

To outside observers, the EMP attack was a success. Knocking out many of the Temple's defenses was no small feat. Still, the attack had only been the first wave (thus come in the second group of ships posted in the first attack post). With a portion of the defenses left, the second and final wave of ships would have a greater chance of success.

As the battle progressed, the convoy had entered the atmosphere closely after the first wave. Many of the temple defenses were drained on the warships in orbit, which allowed many of the transport to actually get through the defensive line. By the time they had reached the proper distance, three ships survived the onslaught this time. Identical to the first transport, they exploded and allowed their cargo to rain down.

At the end of the rain of EMP bombs, none of the defenses survived. The last two ion cannons had fallen to the first few bombs, and the wide spread area of the bombs covered the remaining turbolasers as well as already disabled defenses. As well, many of the internal systems of the temple including the hangerbay and communications were now out. The fight continued to progress....

Having fitted his ship with the required shields long ago in anticipation of conflict on Mimban, Tares flew out of hyperspace and into the atmosphere of the planet. By now things in orbit were much calmer than before. The republic ships striking at the Sith Temple with ease. It seemed the status report the Jedi Master had recieved were accurate in saying that the temple's defenses were fried.

With in a few minutes, the Revelation was on an attack run of it's own towards the Sith Temple. There was much resistance met from the fighters on autopilot, however scans soon revealed a vital weakness. In its dead run, the Revelation layed down some defensive fire on several approaching fighters, then released several homing proton torpedos towards the temple. Split seconds later, two of the temple's shield projectors were destroyed, decreasing the traveling area of the fighters.

At the end of the run, the massive ship was hovering several meters above the forming battle field. The underbelly cannon's and turrets automatically went to work on ripping into the zombies and other creatures below. The weapons on the topside of the vessel took at the fighters above and into the temple itself.

With everything automated, Tares was free to make his way out of the Revelation and onto the sith temple. Allowing the Force to guide his actions, the Jedi Master soon came upon one of the disabled sheild generators now exposed from the Revelation's attack. With an idea in mind, Tares connected to the shield generator via his own life sustaining biotechnology....

OOC: Just so everyone knows, I'm gonna be switching over to this account instead of DaCheat. I'm gonna keep Sauron to mere force actions so I won't start alias stacking.

"Hey, Dine?" Politely curious whistling came from Armiena's side. "You know what I love doing? Other than designing ludicrously complex armor, interesting weapons, and small superweapons, I mean." A proud trumpet answered her rhetorical question. "That's right, Dine. I love..." her hand went to the levers that controlled the Avenging Angel's weaponry. "Doing..." A big grin spread across her lively face. "This." She pulled a series of levers.

All over the ship, the Avenging Angel unveiled its considerable arsenal: laser cannons, ion cannons, missile launchers... more firepower than some militias had at their disposal.

Even as Armiena began to throttle up the sublight engines, R5-D9 tootled a warning, indicating the desolate planet's dangerous atmosphere. "What?" The droid repeated himself. "Oh, bloody hell... I guess there's only one way to handle this... as fast as possible." Her hand rested on the throttle, and she formed a low-level barrier around her ship with the Force... hopefully it would offer some protection against the energy storms in Mimban's atmosphere.

The ebony freighter suddenly surged ahead, and quickly caught up with the Alliance transports, at which point it flipped over and hugged the larger craft's belly for protection against the energy storms for the duration of its trip down to Mimban's ruined surface.

Just seconds before the transport landed, the Avenging Angel popped out from under its cover, and hovered a few meters above the ground. It slipped from side to side, the horde of zombies crumbling under the freighter's fire from the keel weapons.

As Seleck sprinted through the warren of corridors that was the Sith temple with no sense of direction or purpose running purely on his gut instincts. The warning sirens blaring loudly and the continuous explosions of turbolasers clouding his conciousness to such an extent he couldn't focus on his masters teachings any longer his world an indecipherable orchestra of incoherant noise, until a voice cut into his mind over the explosions and sirens yet it was no louder than a normal conversation

begin to meditate... focus your energies harness them all, once we all do that then we can really begin

Seleck followed what felt like a gut instinct and sprinted off down a corridor to his right towards the cold darkness.

He then realised he was using the force for the first time.

He rounded a corner and saw pitch black about ten metres from him.

He entered it and sat and began to focus all of his rage and went deep into medetation.

Nurgle followed Trowa, unsure of what the Sith Lord intended to do. His form was completely dark now, his power still experiencing a great increase from the energy of Vjun. Nurgle almost glided across the surface of Mimban. He was the image of death. Nurgle watched Trowa begin his work. Nurgle was fascinated by how much Trowa had learned in such a short time.

If he's successful, I expect the Jedi will regret their visit here.

Nurgle sat down beside Trowa. He felt Barton had the strength to do this alone, but nonetheless, Nurgle concentrated half his efforts on feeding Barton some of Vjun's energy that he'd brought with him. The rest of his efforts he focused on anyone who might distrub Barton's work.

The now-advancing battalions of Alliance troopers met zombie resistance in short time, making their way towards the line of turbolaser fire streaming down from the sky above that marked the location of the ever-shorter and flatter Sith Temple.

They made short work of the undead creatures, flesh and melee attacks no match for an organized spread of blaster fire from A280 blaster rifles, DH-17 blaster pistols, and "Freedom One" blaster rifles, which were all but identical to the E-11s that made stormtroopers so effective.

There were few casualties, and those were controlled. Group commanders were smart enough to know what to expect from a soldier infected by a zombie, despite being unprepared for such an incident. There were greater horrors in the galaxy, and the horrors of war prepared men for anything.

Meanwhile the orbital bombardment continued, shattering spires and blowing holes in the thick metal of the Sith Temple. It was nearing the point where it would be level with the ground, though it was impossible to tell how deep into the earth the complex continued. As long as the Alliance fleet had time, it would continue to bombard.

A lone X-Wing popped out of hyperspace over Mimban. The Knight inside grimaced. He could feel destruction ringing out through the Force.

"R6?" Darex asked his droid. "Can you tell me about the planet? Is the atmosphere breathable and all that jazz?"

There was a pause, then a sting of hoots, whistles, and beeps.

"'Highly turbulent atmosphere'? 'Special sheilding'?"

A few more beeps.

"You upgraded the shields at the Academy?"

There was a string of high-pitched, cheerful sounding tones.

"R6, you must have really been bored."

Darex grinned slightly at the news. He had been worried for a minute that he wouldn't be able to land, given the nature of the planet's atmosphere. But thanks to the little green droid, his shields were upgraded to be able to handle the stress.

After identifying himself to the Republic ships in orbit around the planet, he headed down towards the place where they were raining all of their firepower.

He landed far enough away to avoid both detection and possible destruction--from anything--and made sure he had his lightsaber. He slipped the spare he always kept around in a hidden pocket, hoping he wouldn't need it. Then he headed off towards the Sith base.

As he walked, he could feel the presence of several Jedi. Why would the Jedi attack? It doesn't make sense! Unless...the Sith attacked the Academy and this a retalitory strike...but I don't know.

To attack the Sith was something Darex did not understand. He himself was here only to protect the innocent lives that might be spared from this disaster. But to attack, unprovoked, as a Jedi was to become the thing they swore never to become.

Suddenly, he was pulled from his thoughts. He felt a presence that he barely recognized, but it was her. She was here...and she had turned. Given up, and given in. It shook him to the core. He had frozen, not able to move. He was too late...

Suddenly, the Force coursed through him. It was his destiny to be here, and as much as he did not want to face her, he had to.

Finfing he could move again, he continued as close as he dared, his presence fully masked in the Force. As an extra precaution, he even cloaked his outward appearance, so that to the eye, he was a blurred, disorted figure that could easily have been mistaken for a shadow...

OOC: You're joking, right, Martin? It'd take more than an hour for thirty-so turbolasers to bring down an MC90a.

When I posted the orbital defenses actions, i didnt mean that an explosion occured right away. I meant that the defenses would lay down heavy fire upon one source of laser fire, until an explosion was detected, and then move on to the next source. Basically, i was saying that i was concentrating my fire, although it doesnt seem to matter now, because youve just gone and blown the rest of the defenses in one post. Now its my turn to be a cheap mofo.

IC: The ships that nahstaa had rigged up to be remotely piloted into mimbans atmosphere, and which had been so happily ingored by the rebels swarmed in, apparently a group of abandoned ships set to confuse the rebels. As the small armada of transports and starfighters approached the rebel fleet, half of them were picked off by starfighters and stray laser bolts, but the rest made it to their destination.

When nahstaa had originally planted small transmitters inside the ships, he had used them to alter specific programming within the ships most basic instructions... mainly he had written in a set of instructions to overload the radioactive core of each ship. The altered code was initiated, and suddenly a multitude of small ships went into critical core melt down right next to the 5 rebel ships. The core melt down's caused small but powerful explosions, along with radiation.

3 of the ships, including the interdictor were left completely whole and efficient, but two ships (the one that had been under heavy laser fire, and one which had just caught a very bad blast) were rendered completely inoperational.

____________________________________________________________

Back in the temple, nahstaa launched his second wave, the device he had been constructing whilst he let loose the first wave of attack on the fleet.

"You know, Dine. I really feel guilty about this, but this is actually kind of fun, in a very sick way. It's like I'm the heroine in some crappy horror holodrama, except I have an incredibly big gun on my side." Armiena observed as the Avenging Angel continued to hover mere meters above the heads of the advancing Alliance troops, laying down a thick curtain of fire that didn't so much kill the zombies as it did evaporate them.

Even as the ebony freighter began slipping towards the front of the Alliance's charge, the Jedi Knight felt a massive build-up of destructive rage... and it reminded Armiena horribly of an obscure technique that had been used once and only once by an ancient Dark Lord. Suddenly, Armiena's stomach seemed to plummet into her bowels. She groaned aloud, and keyed the comm unit to broadcast to all Jedi forces.

"Ah, guys? I think we're running out of time..." She matched action to words, and set the Avenging Angel down to Mimban's barren surface. Armiena hastily prepared to leave the ship and charge as quickly towards the Sith fortress as she could manage.

OOC: Sorry, but you can't maim more than one capital ship per post. It always has been a rule of fleet combat. I don't want to pick a fight or drawn unnecessary enmity here, much less start flaming, but the rules are there for a reason.

IC: The General of the fleet swore when one of the cruisers took heavy damage and was left afloat. "Have emergency teams restore the life support and lock on with tractor beams to keep her from floating into the atmosphere," he ordered.

His orders were carried out. It didn't take a whole lot of power to keep the tractor beams initiated, as they, like repulsorlifts, were extremely power efficient. For the most part the remaining ships could fight as usual.

"Tighten up security. Launch all fighters and create screens in three hundred sixty degrees around the assault group," the General continued. "That should keep another incident like this from occuring."

The bombardment of the Temple continued, the once-tall structure now all but razed to the ground due to repeated bombardments from the remaining three ships and the Interdictor, though its own weapons were considerably weaker.

Barton looked about at all the Sith that were here so far. He would need someone who would be the outlet for all of the power. He glanced to Shy and got an idea”¦she was almost ready for lordship and if she did this that would prove herself to be a true sith lord.

He moved over to her, being able to see perfectly in the darkness. ”œI have a task for you.”

The elongated and self propelled cylander made its way up and out of the atmosphere, kept in tact and completely operational by the temples shield generators. As the cylander approached the screen of fighters, It exploded, throwing what appeared to be shrapnel in a sphere around it. Strangely, the shrapnel began to move. Tiny droids, each one about 30cm in length and cylindrical, propelled themselves towards the fleet, avoiding starfighters where possible. Due to their tiny design, the droids didnt show up on the sensors, as they were filtered out by the computers as being too small to be anything apart from random space junk.

On top of that, the tiny droids were almost impossible to see, as they were dispersed so thinly, and coated in a matt black exterior paint. When the droids finally reached the 5 starships, they immediately identified the ships from the very small database nahstaa had included in their programming, and then moved in towards specific zones on the ships, latching on.

The sensory equipment on each of the cruisers had no chance of picking up the presence of these droids on their shell, and no way of detecting the small tunnels they were drilling into the armour of the ships, and filling up with a hard setting durasteel foaming agent behind them. No atmospheric pressure would be lost, and the location of each of the tiny droids was such that no one would hear their tunneling.

On the disabled carrier, the droids were most effective, tunnelling into the main computer system and sitting passively, watching encryption and security protocols flow through the system until they could effectively replicate the encryption, and supplant other internal communications with their own instructions. Any remaining life support on the damaged carrier was shutdown, all passageways were opened, and all airlocks were left fully open, sucking all the air, along with any living organisms out of the ship.

Back in the temple, an insanely high pitched whining noise was exibited from each and every speaker, leaving anyone inside rolling on the floor. Using his computer to filter the signal from reaching his brain, nahstaa's ears were still sore, but the noise didnt have any other adverse affects on him.

Aero sat quietly in the pitch black darkness. Her mind was almost completely focused on her internal Darkside energies. The only thought on her mind other then the task at hand was the darkness around her. There were two things that could match the pitch blackness surrounding her. That was Barton's heart and soul.

She received his force message and began to push all of her own pent up hate, rage, and anger into the Jedi she loathed, yet still had a bit of pity for. After all she had to travel with that thing”¦called Zek. She could feel her own energies flowing outward as if her body was an open flood gate now, Shy was the tiny town being crushed to death by the wave of energy”¦except Aero's powers did not crush Shy, they just helped her to further the goal.

IC: The battle was nearing the climax of the duration. While the zombies continued to fight against republic forces, the hovering Revelation once more fired at the skies. It had been a while since Tares had arrived. In that time the ship had managed to take down several fighters, as well as cutting into the zombie hordes below.

The inactive cannons finally came to life onto the temple itself. It had taken hours, ever since the start of the battle, for the republic forces to locate the important power generators. Once found, the information would sent to the main computer aboard Tares' ship. In a swift volly, several torpedos were launched directly into the power generators. In the results blasts, the temple itself lost all power to the shields save for one now independantly powered generator. The fighters above now had no protection from the atmosphere.

By himself, Tares finished the adjustments he had been making to the shield generator he found. Having turned it on, the new system directed the energy shield directly over the outside troops and surrounding areas, leaving only the temple exposed in a donut like bubble. The shield now kept any new zombies from arriving from the planetside areas. All that was left would be cleaned away soon. After he was done, Tares made his way into the Sith Temple itself....

Scorp emerged from hyperspace and took a view around. It seemed the planet itself was taking a bombadment and that the defenses for the part for that part of the planet was under attack. Listening to some different transmission flying everywhere. HE gathered what he need to know.

Man we Jedi need to be briefed a lot better.

Suddenly he saw a few cylinders explode in front of him. The Blast zone was ineffective to saw the least but just to make sure he decided to pump a few lasers into the cloud just to see if it would explode.

Then he guided his craft down ward near a gun emplacement created by the rebels after much turbulance due to the atomsphere. Before skimming low and unleashing a few laser shots into the temple.

Then pulling out he decided to try and provide air cover.

Cal stood on the bridge sctratching his head. He could not figure out what that blast had done to the damaged MC-90a.

He was very angry and shouted for damage reports.

"Sir, we have just lost all life support systems for the damaged ship" said a low ranking officer aboard the Shatterpoint II. "Forutnatley most of our men aboard that ship had already been transported over to one of the other star cruisers."

"Has their been any damage done to our four remaing ships?" asked the General.

The awnser was "none that could be detected" but that didn't mean anything. Whatever that explosion was couldn't have just targeted that one ship while missing the rest.

"Run a diagnostic on all of our running systems. If there is anything abnormal in any way report it immediatly. And, continue to hang on to to that damaged ship, don't let it loose into Mimban's atmosphere. When this battle is over it may be salvagable, and if things turn for the worse maybe it can still be used."

General Regium had a little something up his sleeve but he didn't want to have to play that card unless it was absolutley necessary.

"Continue the bombardment of the sith base" ordered the General.

Having been asked by multiple parties to look into this matter due to accounts of irregularities, I'm making a ruling on the results of combat insofar:

The biggest complaint has been no apriori means of dealing with the storms on the planet. However, there was regard to them in the posts involving clearing the atmosphere (with a few exceptions to be noted later).

The regard for the planetary defenses has been sparse- Planetary turbo lasers are designed to reduce ships like M90s to slag and 30 of them on one ship would easily do so in the time it would take to get a sufficient lock and return fire, per the SW Guide to Weapns and Tech. With 50 planetary turbos and 6 planetary ions though would have however, I'm afraid to say, made mincemeat out of 4 MC90s and the interdictor in fairly short order. Given the home turf advantage and the superior firepower, your fleet is swiss cheese and will not be returning to port. The Sith have 2 ions and 30 turbo lasers left on account of the EMPs and orbital attacks. Moral of this story- do not godmod on fleet damage.

Nom & Darex- While you made some attempts to compensate for the storms, a Sith Master helped augment them on a dark side steeped planet. Your ships are damaged and going down. Scorp, you made no regard for the storms at all- Consider your ship hurtling downwards and ready to explode before it even crashes into the ground- I'll leave you all to deal with how to address your predicaments or probable demises as you deem fit. Obsidian- your ship sustained some notable damage from the augmentation, but it's still in fair shape. Tares, you are in the same shape as Obsidian as you failed to account fairly for your own storms. Wookie Jedi- you gave ample posting to navigate them and attention ot the augmentation and are in the clear. The various transports would all have been damaged from the storms and defensive fire, so if they were not dropped as they should have, they would have been damaged.

The Sith Temple is heavily damaged by the attack and the superiority of surviving (but now limited) troops against the zombies stands.

((Right... well, I fear you're going to have to make another ruling, because I have a bad feeling about what the Sith have planned...))

Armiena wasn't going to be doing any good in the air--the fight outside the shattered fortress had already been won, but the victor would be determined by the battle inside the Sith Temple. The energy storms were also taking their toll on her ship's systems, even at the ground-hugging altitude she was flying at.

With some reluctance, the Jedi Knight guided her freighter under a massive piece of rubble that had been cast away by a turbolaser blast. The shadow of the piece of ruined stone provided enough darkness to conceal the black freighter, and with the weapon systems and security online, no one would be able to hijack her beloved ship without some incredibly expensive equipment.

Armiena double-checked the straps on her light armor as she headed to the boarding ramp with her apprentice. She gave him a brisk nod as she lowered the boarding ramp, allowing the bleak atmosphere of Mimban to seep into the Avenging Angel. She took one sniff of the air, and immediately hated its dead smell.

The woman grimly lead her Padawan down the boarding ramp, and through a world of darkness, making their way to the lair where evil dwelled...

And Ikanya was there in the circle of Force-users somehow, feet having carried her to exactly where her powers were needed, her strengths could be used. New strengths, but existant all the while from the battle within herself.

The dark energy... no. She refused to think of it as dark. Dark was without all hope. This was with a hope in mind. This was in order to save lives, after all...

A hint of a grim smile touched her face.

Dark, then. But no darker than the Jedi are at the moment.

It touched her fingertips, spread outwards. Like all the others, she understood her Master's goal, and felt his power. Felt the power of the other Force-users, and the singular strange being. She didn't know about him, but his power stretched (or so it seemed to her senses) up and beyond the Force itself, delving into possibilities she only could dream of weilding.

She could see nothing in the utter darkness that masked all senses beyond the Force itself. Her eyes, ears, and even taste was shunted away into the shadows brought up by Lord Barton. There was only the Force...

Yeah. Right. No emotion? Rest in pieces...

Her powers melded with the others, and the darkside grew.

As soon as the ships had been destroyed, nahstaa was alerted. Laughing manically, he let a message rip, initiating a ten minute timer down in the temple.

Sending out a comm to every non jedi-republic person on mimban ((IE, the sith, the two gods, and the few other people that are supposed to be here)) telling them they had 10 minutes to get to their ships, and get off of mimban. All of the sith ((Karmy, aero, shy, anubis etc)) were to join the main battlegroup.

There was nothing the jedi could do. It would take anyone that didnt have an implanted computer at least an hour to hook up a terminal into mimbans power core, and stop the countdown. On top of that, they would have to realise what was going on, and figure out where the countdown was located. In other words, the jedi and the republic were screwed, and they had no idea.

Through the force, nahstaa contacted aero:

Im going to come and pick you up. Find seleck, and stay away from the otehr republic troops ((Seleck is darth anubis, my other apprentice))

Still flying over the temple, nahstaa had the temple shield any ships that had the correct ID codes, and initiated the temples atmospheric defenses, setting them to target any ships that hadnt transmitted their correct ID. He wanted to trap as many jedi here as possible. The republic troops were doomed, and the jedi had no way of knowing that the temple was about to go into complete meltdown, unless they noticed the sith leaving. Then again, their damaged ships would have serious problems making it through hyperspace intact, especially when they next flew over the temple.

Dropping into his workshop, nahstaa took a minute to gather up some various tools, weaponary and the few personal effects he kept with him. He also took the time to pick up a few extra power cells for his armour, implants and weapons, and a replenishment of chemicals for the small box in his chest. Having done that, he took off to locate aero and seleck.

Barton quickly caught up with Ikanya. He could feel a large power boost with the force flowing through him. Shy's sacrifice had not been in vain, it didn't succeed in its main goal but she had found a sufficient secondary one.

He had no plans to join the main battle group, as he had a few more important things to do and they Sith would do just fine with the new found power Shy had just provided. He clipped her saber onto his belt quickly and moved towards the temple, which had been hit quite hard.

He made it inside and to the hanger bay. He waited for Ikanya to board before taking off, quickly flying low to the ground until he hit the other side of the planet then leaving the atmosphere. He blasted hyperspace shortly there after.
