The large Thorpe Corporation Complex humed with efficiency. Workers moved too and fro, preparing reports, running numbers, and issuing work orders to fifty divisions of the company. Small shuttles, and transports shot back and forth, ferrying thier passangers to different parts of Correllia. Above in the sky transports bearing supplies, and personel to thier given tasks. The first levels were bustling with activity but as the two mercs' were allowed into deeper and deeper clearence, the building became stony silent. Fresh gun emplacments of all shapes and sizes were being installed, but many were still offline. The weapons were destined to deal with future threats, wether they be convential troops or specialized warriors.

Finally as they reached the top floor of the largest module, they came to an office space with white marble floors. As they reached a sentry station, the two were issued temporary clearance cards. For a while, they were scanned for explosives and other nasty suprises. Being found clean they were allowed entrance into the most sensitive of areas...the executive suites. Replete with pools, fountains and simple elegance, the executive area was nearly empty. One might have exepected the rich and the powerful lounging about, and servants...but instead they found most areas walled off, or being deconstructed. Lycus liked class, but he wasn't into useless luxury.

A tall slender secretary greeted them with a gentle nod. Her face was nearly flawless, with glassy grey eyes that seemed to be like small gems the only mark she wasn't totally human. The womans' white hair matched perfectly with her smart buisness outfit. "Welcome, Mr. Tycho, Ms. Tia, I see that you were issued cards. You'll need those to access all regular entrances into and out of the compound. I am Mr. Thorpe's personal assitant, and will be guiding you threw Thorpe Policies." She presented them both with thin backlit display pads. "First, we need you to sign a non-disclosure form, and at the same time acquire fingerprint ID." The boards indicated a place to depress thier finger, and the simple policies of protecting Thorpe intellectual property. "Just press there and wait a moment."

------

"I'm not sure I understand this move Lycus...why are you putting your assets into helping the Calamari." Said a disguised figure in a holo emmiter. The mans' face was just out of the visual range of the scanner. "Its' good for the company to assist with disasters like this, we've been over this before." Lycus said as he continued his work. "Thorpe Corporation will not sit idly by as the Galaxy goes to hell, we become well known by taking action, good or bad. Right now, Calamari is a good chance to show our investors and our potential customers that we, unlike the jedi or the republic, come through for them when they need it."

"But won't there be backlash," the man said still confused. "Against the Republic? Maybe in time, and a little shoving from yours truly, the citizens of the republic will begin to wonder if Corporations are a better way of governing. In any case canindates that come down on our side of politics will be given a signifigant boost in popularity and funding..."

"Thorpe your a clever man...but watch yourself. There maybe some strange things at work on Mon Calamari, there are rumors of some pretty wierd reports. This...CORE has a strange and convulted history, don't bite of more then you can chew."

"You know me...I have an awfully big bite...have you gotten those blaster dampeners I asked for? " Lycus said with a sarcastic grin.

"They'll be in the next shipement, but the ysalamiri you asked for are not an easy item to find, you may have to make a trip to Myrkr to acquire them, Spector out..." the man said as the emmiter fizzeled out.

The image faded and a message awaited Thorpe on his tabletop display. The vigilantes had arrived.

Indo was done exploring and simply put it was time to get down to business. Walking back up to the corp. He simply let the help know that he was ready when every he would be allowed in and then sat him self down in a smallw aiting area.

OOC: Thorpe wouldn't know this, and neither would Tycho, but Mon Calamari isn't in as bad shape as it seems. I mean, it's no longer habitable, but it didn't really wipe anything out other than non-sentient plants and sealife...the details I'm not going to explain....

IC:

Tycho couldn't keep a smirk off his face as he passed through the scanners. He was still carrying his briefcase, and, frankly, if their scanners had been able to pick up its true contents, he wouldn't be allowed through with it in his posession. Of course, he didn't intend to use anything here--if that had been his intent, Thorpe would be dead already.

The vigilante didn't hesitate before inputing his fingerprint into the proper scanner. It wasn't really his fingerprint, of course--he rarely wore the genuine things around--but no one would be able to tell anyway. Needless to say, it wasn't quite the act that the security systems wanted it to be. But he knew that Thorpe wouldn't really expect him to comply if he could help it--Lycus wasn't apparently as stupid as his workers.

Granted proper clearance already, Tycho waited for Tia to do the same.

Tia also didn't hesitate to press her finger to the pad, her second skin protecting her true prints. She never gave away anything like that, not when it could be used against her. She too was amused that she just walked in beside Tycho with all her weaponry still in tact. Just coz she had agreed for this task didn't mean that if she didn't like a job in the future that she would do it. She stood there quietly, taking in the scenery with quick glances, her eyes very active as she gathered her intel.

Understanding the message to the letter, Tares decided this information was best kept private for now. Looking to Krishna, the Shadow Master smiled, "It seems that your mother wishes for us. My ship the Revelation is just over the hill there. Feel free to follow me."

With that Tares guided Krishna back to his ship. From there the two took off and headed into space....

Lycus approached quietly as the two vigilantes were allowed through given clearence, and given thier thumbscans. The system quickly processed thier information, trying to match it to anyknown threats and warrants. Both of the employs passed, naturally, since the thumbscan was simply a legal formality. Lycus had discovered a loophole in republic law. While it was unlawful to employ known fellons, or be associated with those who commited murder, a thumbscan removed all Thorpe Co. liability for thier actions. Plausible deniability was always a must. Besides if he had wanted clean help he would called the Correllian Boyscouts.

"Mr. Tycho, Ms. Tia, what a pleasure...and without having a gun drawn this time?" Lycus said with a raised eyebrow to the well prepared merc to his left. "How touching for a moment I might think your beginning to like me..." Lycus said as he turned quickly marching towards his office. The two stood thier not acustomed to being left so quickly. They hadn't been around Thorpe long...and it showed. "He means for you to follow him..." the secretary said as she gestured for them to follow him.

-----

"Heavy alchohol usage, shows interior damage to lungs, several notable scars...he might be good but with all this interior damage it will be difficult say how he will preform. Information on the other however is spectacular...great bone definition...the structure is odd however and I'm still troubled by the lack of normal levels of-"

"Just clear them, I don't care about thier levels I care about thier performance. Understood?" Lycus said into an earpiece that he removed quickly as the two entered his office and caught the tail end of his conversation.

"I take it your accepting my offer?" Lycus said as he leaned against his desk. "I leave Coruscant in the morning, your ships have been left alone, any refueling you wish done or supplies that you need will be reimbursed. Simply give the port authority your clearence codes." Lycus said as indicated thier clearence tags given them for temporary access.

He touched a screen in his office that brought up a holographic projection of the identified threats. "Moving on to the mission, there are several small terrorist organizations organized to kill me for simply showing my face on Coruscant," the imaged changed to humanoids with high powered weapons and armor. "Then there is the worst threat."

Images of jedi came into view. Jedi like Master Kirana, Ho Jo Poleb, and Kirlocca, were indentified by off angle shots, and 3-d renderings. "Several of these rouge jedi have made threats against me, as well as provocative action against my Corporation, the jedi are to slow to do anything publicly, in fact the order is so slow that half of coruscant could be boiling alive and theyed probably yawn. Still there is the occasional jedi that may become troublesome. We'll make a stop on Mykyr where I am told that a solution to thier threat may be found..." Thorpe left out the visage of any sith, he was loath to name them as a threat, especially with the warning he got from Vladimir Faust.

"I do my buisness while you provide protection. Merely a day or two as I make the rounds, there includes a trip to the lions den itself, the jedi temple...if you have any reservations about the danger I suggest you back out now..." He said as he studied thier reactions. Before they had a chance to respond he spoke. "If your not up to it, I suppose I'll have to continue to look for those capable."

Tia just stood quietly listening to his speel. She didn't feel she had to speak, the occasional nod to acknowledge she was listening. She wondered what sort of scans he'd done on them with some of his comments. That she was pure Firrerreon would throw his scanners out unless he had information regarding her rare race. Her eyes had narrowed slightly as she overheard the comments before he cut them off.

Just think of the credit's Cel... just the credits... Tia thought to herself as he continued speaking. She watched the images, keeping her opinions to herself as he showed the Jedi. When he mentioned Mykyr she ran through the things she knew about the planet in her quick mind. So he wants ysalamari... it's not only jedi that it is useful against, and a man like him would likely have other enemies that are force users... there's got to be more of a reason besides that of Jedi...

"No, I'm not adverse to the Jedi Temple. Heard the decor is amazing. Always wanted to check it out for myself."

Great, Tycho thought, vornskyrs, Jedi Knights, and armed assassins. Not my favorite crowd, especially when they're trying to kill me.

He was having reservations. He was a Corellian and therefore innately cocky, but even a fool could see a suicide mission. It was said that even Han Solo had turned down an attack on the first Death Star so many years ago, though ultimately he entered the battle to make the shot that enabled Skywalker to destroy it.

"You want to know what I think? I think you're crazy," Tycho said. "Someone like you can't wage war against Jedi, rogue or not. Ultimately, you will lose. Until then, I accept. I'd hate to die--but I certainly want to be there when you do."

He allowed a sloppy smile to cross his face, though it only lasted a second. He was in, this time before Tia. He knew she would do whatever he would, especially since she had been the one to drag him into the meeting with Thorpe to begin with. He was supposed to be the conservative one....

Lycus laughed a bit before responding to Tycho's suggestion that he wanted war with the jedi. "War? My good man, I have seen enough of war to last a lifetime...I no more want war then a wookie wants to be shaved. I will be meeting with the jedi over the recent infection that has spread on the Mon Calamari homeworld. Still I would be a fool not to have protection in thier presence."

If Lycus had wanted war he would have stayed with the Imperial Forces. No Lycus had seen his fill as an Imperial Commander. He had seen sites that still haunted his sleep. "We will leave presently, meet me at these coordinates and we shall jump together towards our first destination. You have...4 hours until then, I will alert you when it is time. Take these..." He handed a small comm device to both of them. "Simple comm device, scan it if you mistrust me. Now I'm a busy man, so if you'll excuse me, I have one other to brief today."

With that he motioned for them to take thier leave.

-----

Lycus sat in his chair as the young humanoid was brought to him.

"Mr. Indo, You come to me highly recommended. I only wish to impart to you your first mission. This is of crucial importance, and remember per your contract, if at anytime you are discovered, I shall deny all knowledge of your existence. You will make regular drops of information, keep me informed when you find out anything...."

He stood and handed the young operative a small datapad with his mission brief. "Do well and you'll be rewarded handsomely. One more thing...." Lycus said as he came close to the mans face. "Watch your back, I'm taking an awful risk trusting you with this mission...it must succeed, I believe my company and much more rests upon it."

Tia took the comm link and gave a sharp nod, her eyes meeting briefly with Tycho's before she wheeled around and left Thorpe's office. She took in all the sites on her way out just as she had on her way in. Tia waited till they were on their way back to the ships when she spoke.

"Well, what do you make of it all. I just want the credits. I have mod's in mind for the Pazaak as soon as I get 'em"

She hailed a taxi, wanting to get back to her ship and check it over. He'd said he'd lost men trying to get through her defenses. She wanted to know if he damaged it in any way.

"I don't like the idea of going up against vornskrs, Jedi, and assassins," Tycho answered, echoing his previous thoughts. "But, like I said, I'd like to be there when someone succeeds in killing him. I'll spend my share of the credits, and I'll probably like it, but I don't like working just for the money. Credits are a necessity, not a goal."

The vigilante had nothing more to say, continuing to wait for the taxi.

"Your code name will be Dark Cohort...identify any futher messages through that alias...a secondary mission is to attempt to make contact with a contact...Fracas...his current whereabouts were last identified within in the confines of the Last Call. Some sources call him a double agent, relay your instructions to him...if he fails to comply with said orders...terminate his employment." Lycus said as escorted the young man to the door. "I don't want any loose ends in the operation." He said callously as if he had less time then a dying man. "Good Hunting..." Lycus said as the young man left his presence

Gathering a small briefcase, Lycus touched several security panels on the wall. His secretary greeted him as he exited his suite. "The Canus IIis waiting in orbit sir..." The woman said as she carried some of his other possesions in a small duffle bag. "Should I have the fighters standing by?"

"Of course...Contact Tycho and Tia, let them know we are ready to depart...the sooner we get to Mykyr the better."

-----

"They will be ready in the better part of a month, still are you sure you don't want them customized? Are techinuiqes are much better then when you were first brought to us..." the high pitched voice through Lycus's comm unit asked. "No, keep them normal, any enhancements will cutdown on the similarities, I want this to be flawless."

"Yes Sir, I will contact you when they are done." The voice cut out as The small shuttle lifted of the surface followed by two new E-Wing fighters. The pilots former Imperial Aces, were excellent marksmen, they protected Lycus well, because they were paid well. The three craft shot towards the Modified Frigate. It was really a modified pleasure yacht, but with advanced shielding, added gun emplacments, and renovated crew compartments, she was a formidable warship. After the recent Battle of Coruscant Lycus had decided to Invest in a more powerful personal vessel. While the extras had cost him nearly half a millon credits, the simulations showed the ship could hold its own against a Victory Class Destroyer. Being faster then any imperial ship of the same size allowed her to outrun any threat as large as an Imperial Cruiser. Still Lycus was careful to have the ships registry under a nuetral banner, just in case.

The ship hung in space like a large insect, waiting for its prey to fall asleep. The small shuttle landed quietly in the landing bay and soon Lycus was opUn his bridge. "You can get underway once my operatives make contact, captain, please make a course for Mykyr." Lycus said as he leaned against a forward observation railing on the bridge of the sleek ship.

The two had gotten in the taxi and been taken to the dock's.

"I'll catch you round then Tycho. Looks like we better get cracking."

She gave him a wave and headed to her ship, looking it over carefully before deactivating the security systems. Once inside she reactivated them on the off chance that some thug would try something before she was ready to take off. She ran the holo recordings to see what they'd done, noting that no damage had been done to her ship in the process.

She activated the special comm link and announcing she was ready. She lifted the Pure Pazaak leaving the atmosphere though staying in orbit until she spotted his ship. She also ran a few queries to where she would be able to get ship modifications done. KVC Enterprises seemed to be up with the modifications, also the Link. She'd decide which one to go to later, though she heard that KVC backed the latter anyway. Regardless, she would get something done to her ship after the job was done and the credit's in her hand.

Tycho checked his own ship, making sure that it, too, was undamaged. While he searched for damages, he managed to locate a tracking device, which he promptly dismantled...they wouldn't track his ship, whether he was working for them or not. Of course, it wasn't necessary Thorpe that had put it there....

Tia sent him a comm and took off, so he mirrored her actions. A few moments later he was in space, prepared to begin the mission. That is, as prepared as he would ever be.

For a few moments the Modified Frigate paused, waiting until all calculations were run and the risks discovered to be minimal. The ship activated its hyperdrive and simultanaeously sent its coordinates to the two trailing vessels. As it dissappeared into hyperspace, the ship let out a screech audible only to those aboard her as it lurched into the vaste wastes of space.

The Shrieking Talon had landed only to drop off a Sith Lord and his newly acquired apprentice, once that was done Orik piloted the ship back into space. Stepping out into the unknown Marcellus looked around and surveyed his surroundings.

This place will serve well to teach him the basics of the Dark Side”¦

Shifting his attention to the limp body that lay at his feet Lord Maultros began to wonder if this boy was worthy of his guidance. Using the aid of the force Marcellus looked into the boy's mind, reading it like a book. The boy had seen his share of things, but nothing that allowed the Sith Lord to see his full potential.

Always one to wake up resentfully, Jace Vittor did not take well to being roused by his abductor's bellow. Even less welcome was the impact of his boot into his ribcage, then his impromptu flight a short distance away from his host. In the brief period of time that the ex-con had before he fell to the ground and rolled away, scattering dust all about, he wondered if his flight was caused by the sheer force of the kick or some trick of his mystical Force.

Somewhere beyond his righteous outrage, he hoped it was the latter.

He lay before his abductor for a second, propped up on one elbow, until he finally rose to his feet and glared at him "What I want out of life... is to kill self-righteous kriffs who take pleasure out of kidnapping others and taking them from their property." His response wasn't really an answer, but after being awoken and kicked in his ribcage by someone who seemed afraid to face him awake, he wasn't exactly in a mood to tell him anything. As for the Force, Vittor knew nothing about it beyond common knowledge and the fact that he was "Force Sensitive".

He spat at his feet and gripped the inside of his trenchcoat with his free hand, as though grasping his throbbing side. "And I don't know nothing about your damned Force."

Talon's small Eta-2 Interceptor descended quickly upon the planet Corellia after it escaped from hyperspace. The Jedi had recently gained news of some happenings dealing with the chaos gods, but Talon was not the head of that particular mission. While he could do some investigating if time allowed, he was here on other business. Instead of heading towards one of the major establishments, Talon piloted his ship into the wilderness. There would be no need to draw in unassociated business or unwanted attention. A remote mountainous region would serve the purpose well, and it took less than an hour to find the right spot.

The Jedi Master spent the next half-hour setting up a makeshift camp next to his ship. He built a small shelter using his ship as support, and got a fire going, over which he boiled water he got from a nearby stream. While pollution was a major problem in some of the more urban areas, Talon was higher upstream, and the water here was more pure. With a proper place to relax for the time being, Talon withdrew an old paper book from his ship which he had recently acquired, and began to read. All he could do now was wait, and he might as well do himself some good and study up on a few things while he did”¦

Lord Maultros chuckled at the response that the boy had given. Stepping towards him the Sith Lord had noticed that Jace had reached inside of his robes holding his ribs, this was a sign of weakness. If he were to do such a thing in front of the Jedi scum he would surely try to take advantage of the situation.

The sleak ambassador class republic shuttle came out of hyperspace above the busy planet Correllia. It took a long path of descent, locking in on a landing site near the northern continent. The site of investigation was still cut off to civilians pending an investigation request by the jedi council. The shuttle provided an ample view of the site as they landed nearby on a landing pad.

Fynn, who had been relaxing his eyes as Darla and Master Tares caught up on old times, watched silently as his student nervously tried to pay attention to thier meandering conversation. Hearing jedi talk through the force took skill, and even he misunderstood Darla when she began flooding him with thoughts too fast. Fynn always felt somewhat outmatched by his old crush, it wasn't that Darla was so intimidating...

Suddenly below them was the area of carnage seen in the vid broadcast. Surveying the damage from the shuttle cockpit Fynn couldn't help but feel morbidly impressed "Looks like that creature left quite an impact." Fynn said as he looked into the ruins of the bus and crater from afar. The landing ramp of the shuttle lowered and Fynn returned to the investigative party. "Alright you two," Fynn said with lathargic smile"-save the old jedi tales for later, we've got some disturbing events to uncover. Nivana...if your feeling up to it, grab a scanner and follow me. Hopefully Brad can get some readings on the area with his sensors...to see where whatever caused this went.

Emerging from the craft first Fynn made his way towards the incident site. All about, crime scene analysts moved about taking samples, snapping hologrid pics. There was little left of the people, and was left was bloody and beyond recognition. Fynn could feel the palpable evil in the air, along with the smell of blood and fresh ozone, not unlike a mourge. "You there...who is in charge?" Fynn asked a kneeling technician. "That would be me." A tall slender man with a labcoat and a balding head approached the group of jedi. "I'm Henri Foras, lead crime scene investigator...a real mess huh? You the jedi here to look into this?" the man said with all the calousness of a man who had seen a lot of death. "That would be us, I am jedi knight Fynn Relmis, this is Master Tares, Jedi knight Darla, and my apprentice Nivana, so how many casualties are we talking about." "We count about 20 missing, all presumed dead. Poor souls didn't know what hit them...and niether do we."

"Not yet, any witnesses?" Fynn asked as he picked up a small piece of glass covered in blood plasma. "Don't have any yet, besides anyone who saw what happened probably wouldn't want to remember it. To be honest I expected the jedi to send an entire task force...I mean what if this thing comes back? From the tapes, it appears that the creature literally sucked their blood and plasma from them and left the drained bodies like rag dolls. The children on the otherhand, were instantly turned to mush, a real mess I tell you..." the man said with a bit of apprenhension and fear in his eyes. "Continue your investigation, if you find anything, let us know..." Fynn said as he used a gentle mind trick to get the man to go back to work. "I'll let you know..." the man said as he went about his buisness.

"Nivana, do a thourough scan, see if you can pick up any readings on DNA other then human. Master Tares, Darla, do you detect anything unsual a presence perhaps, maybe sith?" Fynn asked earnestly. He had felt something, but it was faint, certainly nothing that screamed about its presence. Still...

"Is it possible the sith were behind this?" Fynn asked as he searched his senses for anything he might have missed.

"Some things... are worse then death, being forgotten for example..."

Brad's starfighter blasted out of hyperspace. He took over his ship once again as he entered the atmosphere of Correllia. Before setting down, he changed course for a pass over the effected area. "Artoo, we're going to make a quick pass. Use the X-Wing's sensors and see if you can pick up anything." The droid set to work as Brad flew the fighter, rather low altitude wise, over the affected area.

With that completed and Artoo analyzing the data, Brad brought the ship down in the designated landing area. He climbed out of the starfighter as the droid popped out of the astromech socket, insisting on coming along. "Stay with the ship Artoo."

The droid let out a shriek of protest and started to roll off the side of the starfighter, forgetting to activate its jets. Brad quickly called upon the Force and used it to manipulate the droid safely to the ground. "You really should be more careful Artoo. Come on," Brad said walking towards where he felt his fellow Jedi's presence.

Brad spotted Fynn and the others rather quickly as he reached the site, somewhat remembering their position from his flyby. "Sorry I'm late," he said reather sarcastically. "It looks like I already missed the party," he said trying to lighten the mood a bit. "The dark side of the Force is strong on Correllia, I've felt it since I entered the atmosphere."

Before the shuttle had landed, Tares was unable to give the answers Darla looked for. Beyond what his brother, Drake, had found out, Tares only had the threads of the Force to provide any detail about the situation. All that was clear was the indicents both on Mon Calamari and on Corellia had some connection, no matter how small of one.

By the time they had landed, Tares was out searching among the damage while Fynn addressed the lead investigator. During his time with the Republic Intelligence, Tares had seen much death. Many details of the classified archives involved unnatural killings for both young and old. Most people would be naturally seperated from the pain and turmoil that came from such an event. As a Shadow however, Tares had learned that while people may fall naturally into either feeling or unfeeling, people had the ability to transcend such lines at will. All it took was some painful lessons of control.

Walking into what used to be an Astrobucks, Tares noticed the remains of several children. It was apparent that the crime scene investigators were bidding their time before they wrapped up with clean up in the area. In truth, very few people could truly blame them though. Upon closer inspection, Tares noted that the decapatations that occured were clean with out the scoring of an energy blade. Based on the angle of the cut, Tares also concluded that the bladed weapon was less elegant than a sword, perhaps an axe.

Walking back, Tares took a brief moment to feel the currents of the Force on Corellia. Right as Fynn asked, Tares felt the unusual presence on the planet. The thread connecting him to that presence also extended to the feeling of a Force Potential. The emotions that rung back through that connection did suggest the presence of a Sith, "I can sense the presence you speak of. While it is similar to what is typically felt with the Sith, this presence is different than those I've come across before. The rather erratic feel of the presence might also suggest a lower level Force User, perhaps a Sith Lord."

Kneeling close to the ground, Tares examined a blood stain on the street as he thought, "The damage done through out the area doesn't suggest the work of the Sith. The cuts made on the dead were done by a bladed, rather careless, weapon. While some Sith are adept to such a weapon, none of this destruction is in their natural style. Plus most Sith still have a sense of control in their destruction. This destruction is more the result of someone with animal instincts in nature. Almost out of control...."

Jace had been prepared to withdraw his hand from the depths of his trenchcoat to surprise him with a sucker punch from his durasteel-knuckled fist, but his scarred abductor instead presented him with a much more potent weapon: a lightsaber. His barely concealed disgust at his burned features evaporated into shrewd interest in the traditional weapon of the Jedi and Sith. He thumbed the activation switch, and the polished hilt spat out a bloody energy blade. Vittor gave the hilt an experimental twirl and wound it through an infinity loop to become accustomed to the unusual weight balance.

Still, he was surprised that his forced host was willing to hand him such a powerful weapon... perhaps he was suicidal. Vittor almost snorted as he returned the blade to a one-handed guard; with those disfiguring wounds, accidentally killing him might be a mercy.

The moment he prepared himself to fight, his lack of experience with swords became apparent. He charged his opponent, changing to a crude double-handed grip. The moment he was in range, Vittor chopped downwards at his head, a vicious but inelegant blow meant to chop him in two from forehead to groin.

-- an encrypted comm comes in on both Fynn's and Darla's comm units, the same message on both, only addressed to each --

Hi Fynn/Darla,

I know it's been a while but I have a favour to ask. I've sent this message to Fynn/Darla and Darex as well as I am hoping one of you will be able to swing by Yavin 4 and pick up Amon for me. I am currently on Aracoun Morion with Shy-Ree who has just given birth to twins. Krishna is with me, I am unsure of where Morgana is. If you run into her, please let her know where I am also.

Thankyou

Skye.

Nivana hung near to Fynn and listened to the briefing by Henri Foras. Her eyes darted about the area, soaking up the tragic scene. And no one knew who or what was capeable of the hideous debauchery that encompassed them? Impossible.

Before she left to scan the area, Niv turned to Fynn, "Master, someone, somewhere, had to have seen or heard something. Perhaps they are just too afraid to come forward?" Her eyes sparked with resolve. "I simply can not believe there are absolutely no witnesses." No living witnesses that wanted to get entangled into this mess. Her amber eyes scanned the nearby buildings and businesses. A thought occured, perhaps they didn't need 'live' witnesses. She opened her mouth to offer a suggestion, but then decided against it. The local authorities would have already checked that angle, of course.

She steadied her nerves, made sure her saber was at her side. Inwardly, she shuddered, knowing she'd have to scan the shreds, slices of splatters of humanity sprawled about the area. "I won't let you down. Not this time." she said resolutely to Fynn.

She turned to the other man, "Excuse me Mr. Foras, where exactly do you think this monster first struck?" Foras called one of his men and instructed him to escort Nivana to where the ship had crashed. She picked up the scanner, flashed Fynn a tense farewell grin then turned and left with her escort.

Once at the scene of the crash, Nivana wasted no time. She mentally gridded off the area and intended to scan each inch of it. But first she wanted follow as closely as possible in the maniac's footsteps and scan everything on or near to his path. With the help of her escort, Niv scanned every thing within the surmised path of the murderer. She gingerly stepped over and around chunks of flesh, bone fragments, various body fluids and broken bodies, stopping to thoroughly scan and rescan every miniscular bit of remains. All readings repeatedly indicated human DNA. Mildly frustrated, but no where near surrendering, Nivana carried on with her meticulous work.

Shaking his head at Brads' comment Fynn gave his agreement. Brad, could feel it just as he could, something vile was here, or worse...still here. As Master Tares spoke, Fynn thought deeply on his words. "If not the sith...then what...what could do this? Better question...why, why here, why not quietly...why choose a massive stage rather then some back ally slum? Its' like what ever it was wanted an audience..." Fynn asked as he felt a buzzing on his comm pad.

As Fynn read the comm a deep seated feeling of relief washed over him. His former master was fine, and at least some of her family was safe. What the hell was she doing to Aracoun Morion? Why was she missing Amon? Where had she been. Fynn asked him self, puzzling over the small mysteries his master seemed to present. As much as he desired to see her, the responsibilties of the jedi were more pressing. He looked to Darla, and Tares who was still deep in his meditations on the presence he felt. Darla was yet to read the comm as she she seemed absorbed in the same quiet observations that Tares was feeling. "It's Master Skye...shes alright, and apparently is missing some of her family." Fynn announced with a small bit of cheer. I told you she'd be fine..." Fynn said sarcastically recalling his reassurance earlier. "Lets finish up here and then maybe we could stop in on Yavin...unless you have an objection." Fynn turned aside from her and focused back on Nivana,

His young apprentice had followed his orders quietly. Only occasionaly looking over at him as she was observing readings that the scanner picked up. Fynn felt a small amount of guilt for not giving more time to her lessons. But he supposed that she was learning just by being in the presence of Darla and Tares, for thier mastery of the force was certainly sharper then Fynns'. Fynn had yet to hone his mental acuity as they had, and Darla while a knight, had seen enough fighting and trials to make a master feel inexpierenced.

While Fynn prevailed by skill, and timing, Darla did by raw power and mastery. Tares on the other hand, was a different animal entirely, so at one with the force was Master Tares that it was often difficult to feel the man's distinctfulness. He almost blended into the force, like a massive tsunami that was invisble until it was upon you. He hoped that Nivana would learn from these as much as she did from him, for he alone was not the be all and end all of the jedi. He was merely one of the many.

"So theroize...what do you think this...'thing' was? Human, alien, monster?" Fynn asked as he shot a general question into the air.

"Some things... are worse then death, being forgotten for example..."
