"Alright Malachi, you're with me." The tall Chiss removed his helm, revealing a strong jaw and the distinctive features of his race; blue skin and piercing red eyes. Leading the obviously depressed man down a nearby hallway, into the 'Orientation' room.

"You'll be based here on Correllia, or Coruscant if it isn't too completely destroyed. I hope you like being surrounded by monitors all day, because you'll be doing alot of that. Your staff is a secretary, two assistants, and an even dozen droids split amongst Protocol and Astro types. You will be in charge of making sure this company isn't marketing products that aren't making a profit, and you will probably be working with PR to determine what about those products isn't working. Also, you will be charged with corporate spending. Make sure that the board isn't taking trips to Fellucia on the company's credits et cetera et cetera."

Pressing a button on the table, and a tiny little droid entered the room. It pulled up next to Malachi, and bleeped twice.

"You'll start today. Your office is downstairs, your personal droid R3-C7 will show you to it. My office is upstairs in the south spire, Dr. Fontaine's is there as well. Quarters are here in this spire, as is the mess. If you need anything, feel free to ask." Philip began to leave, but before he exited the room he turned back to the new employee.

"You have time to go and freshen up in your quarters, if you wish."

After she finished eating... she made her way down stairs and went to the computer to look up the instructions... she found what Faust had left for her and followed the directions carefully...

After many hours of work, the light saber was completed and she looked at it in her hand... it was not very heavy... and with a touch of her thumb, she ignited it... a fiery red beam came from it that matched her hair. She smiled and practiced with it for a short time before clipping it to her belt.

After the program finished running, outlining how to build the saber with the assorted materials the hunter left behind, an automated message plays out.

Well done Reagan dearest... You've by now assembled your weapon and will be putting it to good use.

Now, there's a certain cave on the planet of the twin suns, deep in a rocky mountain territory beyond the Dune seas. Your next clue (At this a map flashes, outlining the coordinates), will rest there. You should have no trouble getting a speeder at Mos Eisley and heading out though you'll have to ascend the caverns on foot.

Now for one last warning. It's deep in the territory of the Tuskin Raiders... Those animals hold this area to be sacred ground so they will be quite fericious. They know enough to fear me and stay out of my way, but your own path will be barred. Do what must be done to get there and back alive and you will know where to go next.

In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed - but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

((Marcellus, you haven't posted in here yet so I'll make this post for you. I'd also like to apologize for the crappy post.))

Coreillia now was witness to the landing of a shuttle containing two sith lords and one abducted to learn the ways of the sith. The envoy of darkness touched down and any attempt to land without a bit of notice drawn to the Shrieking Talon was stymied by the busy skies of the planet. People raced around busily and buzzed by in whatever form of transportation they could manage, and their eyes took notice as Orik bid Marcellus and Jace a farewell. It was not every day that they saw a fleshless body walking around.

Now the shuttle took off and headed toward a place where the sith lord might finally be able to take a small rest and reflect upon a few things that needed reflecting upon. With a course plotted to Myrkr, the shuttle began to ascend to the atmosphere.

A planet without the force... only there might I be able to find a place to rid myself of momentary complexities and find solace in the pure simplicity that is the galaxy...

The Pure Pazaak came out of hyperspace above the planet Corellia. Tia gave the correct landing codes to the authorities before taking her ship down to land in Coronet City. The place she chose to land in had another landing bay close by, she'd meet with Tycho in the Cantina that wasn't far from the docks.

She nodded to a few of the locals that knew her from last time, a couple asking if she was going to be dancing this visit...

"Wait and see my friend, wait and see..."

She gave a coy smile and continued on to the Cantina, grabbing a drink once inside and sitting where he'd be able to see her when he came in.

Thirty seconds after the Pure Pazaak entered the system, it was followed by the Backwater Justice, an old but modified YT-1300. Getting a reading on Tia's ship, Tycho followed her down towards the surface. He could tell she was heading for Coronet, and there was a well-known cantina there that he assumed she would pick to meet at.

The vigilante was home again, and he could feel the old familiarity of the place as soon as he entered the atmosphere. It had been too long since he had spent time here, and a Corellian away from home was like a sand panther on Hoth (amusing, isn't it, that sand panthers are Corellian, too?).

Landing near the Cantina, Kosk cleaned up in the 'fresher in the back of his ship for ten minutes. There was alot of grit in places he'd rather not have it, so it felt good. He slicked his medium-length brown hair back and redressed in his light upper-torso body armor, light blue shirt beneath it, and distinctive blue trousers with an even more distinctive Corellian bloodstripe down each leg.

Reattaching his holster and placing in it his DL-44 heavy blaster pistol, Tycho grabbed his breifcase and left the Justice, heading into the Cantina and spotting Tia. He walked over to her chosen table and sat down, dropping his breifcase on the seat beside him. He got a few strange looks from some of the casino's attendants, most of them including a double eyebrow fluxuate, but he couldn't tell why.

Tia grinned at her adoring fans, shaking her head "no", not this time. She had finished her first drink and had them already lining up to buy her drinks. Just as well she was drinking non alcoholic this time, she'd be plastered in no time at this rate. By the time Tycho arrived she'd had to discourage her "fans" from sitting with her. A number of them gave him dirty looks when he slid into the seat beside her. Tia noted he saw their expressions.

"Don't worry about them, they're just jealous and disappointed..."

She gave a small light hearted laugh.

Tycho looked paranoid. "It seems that you're a bit of a celebrity here, Tia. Do you have a certain...hobby...that you haven't told me about?"

He smiled despite his paranoia. Really, he couldn't care less whether she was a singer or a stripper, though he dismissed the latter thought. Nah...she's pretty, but not that pretty. She could be a dancer and get this kind of attention, I suppose, he thought to himself, withdrawn for a moment but amused in appearance.

One of the 'fans' dropped a rose on the table for her. Tia gave him a smile as she picked it up. It had been some time since she had been at this particular cantina though they had remembered her from last time. Maybe more so because she didn't make herself "available" to their other 'needs'. To Tycho she simply said,

"I dance"

Slipping the thornless rose behind her ear she turned back to him,

"So, got a target worked out yet?"

OOC: This is a nice sig...

IC:

She dances... Tycho thought, nodding to himself. It would be something to remember, though not extremely important unless the two of them worked together for an extended amount of time. Presently he really didn't know how long they would work together, but he'd much rather work with her than alone...at least he had some motivation this way.

When she asked about the target, the vigilante smiled and lowered his voice, looking her in the eye. "There's a man in the corner with a blaster in his hand. He's done nothing but stare at the barkeeper since he's entered, and once or twice he's flicked the safety off on his blaster," he said. "Don't make eye contact."

One tended to get the eye for this sort of thing the longer he or she was in business. They also learned how to study someone without getting their attention as well as studying someone to get their attention, as the Corellian had done in the Last Call not long ago....

Dropping his hand lightly to his DL-44, Tycho stood up and made as if he were heading out the door, but as soon as he hit a crowd he turned off, temporarily hidden from the suspect's vision.

OOC: We can do a few NPCs here and there, but I eventually want to pick on PCs.

Tia didn't look back at the one in question, instead she observed Tycho move off before glancing around the bar again. Her quick eyes gathered in the information before sliding on to one of her adoring fans. She grinned at him as she stood from her chair.

"Alright doll, I guess you get your wish..."

His face lit up and he called out to one of the bar staff to put on some music. Tia laughed and began moving gracefully in time to the music, making her way around her regulars and a few of the strangers as she swayed to the music. Her goal was the man in the corner. She could see Tycho's eyebrow raise as she brought attention to herself and hid a mischievous grin as she danced between two others. The man in the corner glanced her way then back at the bartender, figuring he'd use 'her' distraction for his own purposes. Tia had other ideas though as she made her way over to him, ending up near him from a graceful pirouette. In the graceful movement, she drew her cutless style dagger, her dance motions weaving around incorporating the weapon in her dance. The blade ended up at his neck.

"I wouldn't were I you. Don't move sweetheart."

Tycho smiled at Tia's methods of getting closer. As she neared the man, he gripped his DL-44 a little more closely. A flash revealed the drawing of Tia's knife and the crowd collectively gasped in shock.

Tycho brought his blaster up, leveled it on the suspect, and fired a stun bolt at near-point-blank range. "It's alright, everyone," he said. "This man had criminal intent. I believe we just saved someone's life."

He looked meaningfully at the bartender.

The bartender had noticed the covert looks that the man question had given. His relief at being spared obvious in his manner.

Tia moved back as the villian was stunned, resheathing her dagger and taking a bow to the crowd of observers. She grinned, enjoying the attention. She headed over to the bar, placing credits on the counter.

"Something cool and refreshing would be nice after that."

She looked back at Tycho,

"Someone want to truss that guy up before he comes to?"

Tycho reached down and took the man's blaster. He also found a bag of a few credits on the man's belt, and he snagged those quickly enough that no one would notice unless they were directly observing him, which was also unlikely since he was facing a corner. Slipping the credits into his own pouch, he turned back towards the bartender.

"Do what you want with him--he's no longer much of a threat," the vigilante said. It was a little more convenient when there was a bit of a firefight and the target was killed--that way, nobody had to worry about disposing of him. Of course, firefights often got messy, especially in crowded places like this....

Walking over to the bar, the Corellian sat next to his Firrerreo cohort and ordered whatever the bartender was getting her. It was hard to keep a smug look off his face--in a place like this, saving someone's life was easy but public. The ones who did the saving were usually considered the heroes of the ones in need of rescuing, and then everything got complicated.

One got used to it eventually. It was too easy to get a big head over something minor. Tycho sighed aloud due to that fact, then brought himself back to the present, where he found the bartender handing him a drink. "Hey," he said, "I'm not going to ask for a reward. But remember--you owe me one. The name's Tycho Kosk."

The bartender nodded.

Lycus sat in his office, quietly handling his companies most covert affairs. He was suprised that he had gotten no word from Faust, suprised and relieved. His slim secretary entered placing two data reports on his desk. "Sir, the information on the two rouges in question." she said with an airy voice. She stood silently awating instructions as Thorpe tapped each page of info. He brought up a three dimensional image of a young woman. "Very interesting...she seems to have a knack for trouble making...." Lycus said as he scrolled through her information. "The man sir..." the secretary said quaintly as she brought his attention the image of the maverick. "Dangerous... both of them, but they could be very useful."

"They have our man pinned down in town, should I send our guards in?" the secretary said in a short manner. "Yes, lets see what they are made of...no killing however, and the last thing I need is two more vengence seeking vigilates. Have thier ships tagged and tracked, and get my transport and guards ready, I shall meet these two in person."

"Yes, sir at once." the woman said and turned not waisting a second more. Lycus turned back to the reports upon his desk. "Tycho...Tia, interesting names these vigilantes have..."

----

The bartender grinned, it was nice to have a little justice for a change. As he studied the mans' garb however his face changed. It was no longer of gratitude. The man had a TC lapel badge. "Thorpe Co.? No..."

The bartender turned to the young girl who passed him the tip. He shook his head. "This isn't good, thats one of Lycus's men, and he ain't gonna be very happy. That Lycus is one dangerous customer, you ought to get lost...in a hurry!" The barkeep said as he eyed the entrance. The bars' patrons all left quickly. It was just in time, for he had barely finished his sentence when seven men dressed in grey colored body armor entered the bar. These weren't local police, and they had the emblem of a large 'T' being crossed by a 'C' on thier chests. The had helmets on, obscuring thier features other then thier mouths. The leader spoke up first. "You," the man said pointing at Tycho ", put your hands up and surrender your weapons, and no heroics tough guy." he said with a gravely voice. "You too little miss...and save the dancin' for payin' customers."

The other men pointed thier sonic rifles at the two mavericks, 3 to each. It seemed the two were going to cooperate. "Let me repeat that in case you didn't understand me...put your weapons down and get you hands up!!" the man said as stood with arms folded.

A small clunker of a ship guided down in the atmosphere. Based on a holonet commericial a man had come seeking work. Attracted by the commercial he had done a little research and had found the location of his hopefully soon to be place of employment.

Touching down on a banged up landing pad. He hoped out paid his upfront docking fee and decided it was time to go vist the corp.

After a rather short walk. Some of which he enjoyed he arrived into a secertary's office.

"Hi I am looking for work as an intelligence agent. Do you have in forms I should fill out?"

Tycho had never seen such a swift reaction to a job of good will. Whoever this Lycus Thorpe fellow was, he had free run of the place and had quite a name to accompany it. And, for some reason, he wanted a certain barkeep dead. Why, it was hard to say.

At any rate, when the man working for him repeated his order to disarm, Tycho allowed himself to smile. He slowly raised his hands, grabbing something small and yellow off his belt as he did so. "What's that?" one of the guards snapped, "Drop it!"

"As you wish," the vigilante answered, opening his palm. The small object dropped towards the ground and Tycho looked away. He also moved his left hand to block Tia's view of the object as it hit the ground. A tremendous flash erupted, accompanied by a loud bang. Each of the armed men were immediately temporarily blinded by the flash, as they were each unguarded against its effects.

Tycho and Tia's vision was also affected, but not by nearly as much. Everyone experienced a little deafening, as well, but Tycho could operate despite those conditions. He lunged forward, bowling over three of the men. The other three spun and fired randomly, not able to detect anything audible or visual.

As the Corellain vigilante hit the ground, he rolled, drawing his DL-44. Coming up on one knee, he pulled his trigger, hitting and instantly killing the three standing men. Abruptly his blaster pistol's clip was empty (a DL-44 only got 25 shots out of a clip anyway). He ejected it and grabbed an extra clip, hoping he could rely on Tia to finish the men off before they got oriented enough to fire their sonic rifles.

"You, put your hands up and surrender your weapons, and no heroics tough guy. You too little miss...and save the dancin' for payin' customers." Tia poked her tongue cheekily out at the one who spoke, catching sight of the group enter the room but hearing a twitter of laughter from someone over from them, a laugh that was quickly smothered. "Let me repeat that in case you didn't understand me...put your weapons down and get you hands up!!"

"Not on your life" Tia breathed out as Tycho burst into action.

No-one had seemed to take any notice of what the pirate had on her arm, the device having been made to look more... decrorative rather than ... purposeful. She had closed her eyes when Tycho's hand had been raised, having caught sight out of the corner of her eye what he'd had in his hand before having thrown it to the floor, her eyelids flashing bright with colour as it went off. As she heard his blaster in action, her mildly effected eyes flew open to the remaining guards, her back to Tycho's she launched one of the more potent variety of stun grenades from her wrist launcher. She grinned as she saw the men stumbling from the flash grenade, the remaining four crumpling to the ground along with one of the patrons, but that couldn't be helped. Least she hadn't killed them, though they would have serious headaches for a while. Just to make sure the guards stayed down she adjusted her device slightly to quick fire and launched a more potent dart at each of the guards, now they would have to worry about being paralysed as well.

Tia glanced back at the bartender briefly, giving a nod of her head to him. She wouldn't be back to dance in this particular establishment again. She'd heard of this Thorpe company though hadn't found out too much about them as yet. She'd keep her ear to the ground though, maybe hack into the holonet or database and see what she could come up with. She turned back to Tycho,

"Guess that's our cue to leave"

The two quickly leapt over the fallen, disappearing into the night. Tia switched a jamming device incase any tracking devices or cameras in the area were being accessed to follow their progress. Once far enough away she turned to Tycho.

"Well that was abit of excitement for the night. I think we ought to find out who this character is that doesn't like "good" deeds."

She'd still kept her true identity a secret from all, and very much doubted anyone knew who she'd hung with. Besides which, she'd never been seen in public with her true 'boss', only ever met with him in deep space where there had been no witnesses. The only one she'd actually been seen with in public had been the other Firrerreon girl - Jari - and she'd long gone to other parts along with her big feline friend, and now her cohort along side her.

"Next move?"

She knew of a relative 'safe house' which they could disappear to while finding out about their new found enemy.

Tycho would have been a little more comfortable if Tia had killed the men in the bar rather than whatever she did with her darts, but as long as they disappeared properly, it was just as good to leave them alive and help give them a reputation with this Thorpe fellow.

"Chances are that this Thorpe fellow is the type that no one can find unless he's looking for you," Tycho stated, rolling his eyes and catching his breath. "Luckily for us, he is looking for us. If we can follow one of his cronies home, it'll at least be a start. Rather than making him bring us to his place, we can show up at his back door."

The vigilante remembered a certain infiltration he had once executed on Malastare. It had taken some work to predict the Dug terrorists' next attack, but they were overconfident and covertly displayed their next move through signals before each attack. That had been quite a mission, but without the AT-PT he found in the hangar on his way out, he would never have survived the explosion.

It seemed like this would be at least somewhat similar.

"Before anything, we'll need a place to lay low until they stop actively looking for us. Following someone is easier if they're not looking for you," Tycho said.

"Follow"

Tia grinned at him before setting off, her eyes darting back and forth to make sure they weren't being observed, her scanner giving heat readings to make sure they weren't being followed. She led Tycho on a round about way, even doubling back a few times just incase they were being watched before she led him into the safehouse. Once in there she re-scanned the area, setting her scanner to alert them if someone closed in. She turned to her companion.

"Lycus Thorpe. If I recall, he had his... office in Upper Coruscant. I'd heard of him having his office there... almost was tempted to go there for a job, though the last battle there changed my mind. Let's see... I think I remember something being on the holonet about him."

She began a detailed search of the holonet at the computer console, setting it to alert them once anything was found.

Lycus watched the data tape once more. The two vigilantes cut through his men like chaff, leaving most of them heavily wounded. It was a great display of skill, more then he could have hoped. "They were most impressive sir, efficient and effective. I still wish we had been allowed to gun them down, some of my men are still woozy." The head guard said as he rubbed the wound on his arm from a dart. "Armor pierceing darts, excellent weaponry skills. They are more then I expected." Lycus said as he read the report. "They used non-lethals? Bandits with a soft side, most interesting. Thier ships?" Lycus asked with an up turned eyebrow.

"Correllian Police have them locked down, pending investigation, and the tracking devices are installed. Nothing too obvious...we can make thier lives fairly difficult if they plan on leaving in a hurry." The guard captain said as they approached thier destination. "You sure these two are worth it sir, what if they-"

"Good help is hard to find...when you find talent, you either gain acess to it, or cry as they tear you apart working for someone else." Lycus said as he turned of the data recordings. Lycus personal speeder flew threw the upper levels of the chief city of Corellia. Proceeded by two e-wing fighters that peeled of when he landed at a nearby park. The memorial park had been erected at the end of Corellia's long civil war, monuments and dedication trees dotted the ground. "Set it up captain, clean zone... 100 meter radius." Lycus said as he sat down on a quiet park bench. His men went to work, slowly but surely securing the open area. "...and give our friends thier invitation."

----

Two unarmed agents of Thorpe Co. approached the suspected safehouse. They knocked politely once, knelt down and left a holo datachip at the door.

----

The secretary looked up at the young man inquiring of an intelligence position. She stood up, walked towards him, coming within inches of his face, she studied him in a non-human way. She spoke as she studied his, eyes, "The job is still open, we will need your full name, and you'll need to fill out this." She shoved a datapad into his hands. It was a full release form, a document that allowed Lycus to keep plausible deniability of his affiliation.

"Have a seat, complete this, and I will arrange an interview with Mr. Thorpe. He likes to interview all new intelligence agents." She said with a sort of soft angelic voice.

Philip returned to his Quarters, removing his armour. The Helm went upon its stand, followed by the vambrace, breastplate, and then greaves. His weapons were stowed nearby, where they would be easily accessed. The tall Chiss poured himself another glass of his Champagne, enjoying it thoroughly. Dr. Augustus then donned his three piece suit, this one gold and crimson. He next walked downstairs and knocked on the door in which Dr. Fontaine and the new recruit were speaking. As he entered he nodded to his boss and then sat at his right.

ooc: afraid to tell you but you wouldn't have gotten near the Pure Pazaak with all the safety measures so no cookie mate... nor with the precautions they took to get to their 'safe house' would you know exactly where they were. I'll run with part of it, but you won't have set your tracking devices on the pirate's ship (and it was only Tia that used non lethal means, Tycho killed three of your men.. the other four would have been paralyzed for hours... )

ic:

The console flicked through, showing the two cohorts the recent information regarding Thorpe, including his last advertisement - the one Tia had seen while dancing at the Mystic Tavern on Coruscant.

Dateline- Coruscant- Cenetaur Building.

Yuna Garsh reporting.

As the Senate opened an investigation into Thorpe Corporations holdings this marks the third time Lycus Thorpe has been under scrutiny. Thorpe a Trillionare Industrialist, Fundamentalist, Humanitarian, and former trial lawyer, is one of many former Imperials to make good. Public opinion polls show that a large percentage of those polled believe that Thorpe Co. is good for the Republic, but thier are those that believe otherwise.

"Mr. Thorpe! Mister Thorpe!"

"What about the invest-"

"Are you really fundin-"

"Do you have a jedi mercenar-"

"Is it true you were an Imperial Commander!"

With a full blown investigation into his holdings, Lycus Thorpe held a press conference to alliviate concerns over his companies standing. "I WAS an Imperial Commander, as many people were, during the war I resigned my commision because of the horrible attrocites I saw, I refused to take part. I founded Thorpe Corporation to help the common man, and at the same time insure that future generations could live in a galaxy that cared. To that end Thorpe Corporation has made millions of supply drops and relief runs to hundreds of worlds."

"What of the rumours that you employ dark jedi!"

"I think everyone here knows and understands that having a lightsaber doesn't make you anything special. Some of my agents have been known to use lightsabers as part of thier own personal protection. I can assure you and the public that jedi are the least of my allies."

"Some speculate that Thorpe Corporation stands to lose millions of credits if Miss Faust is successful in the Hapes Cluster where do you stand on Miss Faust?"

"I think Miss Faust stands to do a lot of good for people who may or may not need it. To be frank she could have started, where her brother killed millions of citizens, we have over half of a million people here still underfed and in poverty, or she could have begun on any countless worlds that have suffering, personally I have my doubts. Also I worry for Miss Fausts' saftey, thier are a lot of angry people out there."

"No more questions...thank you."

Lycus stepped from the podium as more questions were hurled at him.

"This is Corellia Holonet Broadcasting, Yuna Garsh reporting."

"Welcome back to Coruscant on Politics!"

A tall twilek with bluish skin says loudly. His over the top voice and style make some in the audience laugh but most clap. The camera zooms' in on Lycus Thorpe sitting at an interview table.

"I'm your host Tak Runtu, Today we have influential, powerful, and respected Trillionaire Industrliast Lycus Thorpe. Welcome Mr. Thope."

"Thank you Tak...pleasure to be here."

"Thorpe hows buisness...?"

"Quite good, we've just opened up some new branches and I'm happy to say just filled the V.P. position at the firm."

"You were quite outspoken in your briefing last week about Anastaisa Faust....care to elaborate?"

"Of course, I think Miss Faust is an oppurtunist...someone who seeks to change the galaxy for her own amusment. I think she is simply trying to compensate for her feelings of guilt over her brother."

Some in the crowed clapped, others were silent.

"Do you think she will succeed in her bid in the Hapes Cluster?"

"Now I didn't come here to talk about Faust, but I believe that her effort will ultimately fail. As we speak thier is an investigation into one of her closest companions actually using the same ship that Vladimir Faust used to cause millions of deaths on hundreds of worlds..."

The crowed hushed and quickly began talking excitedly.

"Personally I lost loved ones in the Coruscant disaster...I find it offensive that Miss Faust has the ordasity to involve herself in the memorial ceremony, I personally would enjoy spitting on Fausts remains."

Several in the audience screamed approval.

"Umm...we will be right back after a word from our sponsor." said the host unsure what to say.

The holonet went black and then Thorpe Corporation logo began a short commericial.

A commercial for Thorpe Corporation begins with a loud announcer yelling at a man sitting on a park bench:

The same man at the beginning is now holding a blaster pistol and in an intense firefight..."I thought my job as an accountant was going to kill me, but thanks to Thorpe Corporation I finally get a chance to really be in danger...Thanks!" the man said with a smile. He turned around and hurled a grenade. "Get Down!"

The screen flashes to a young girl of about 17 taking down thugs with a knife stick. As one flies past the screen she grabs another one by the neck. "My job at the local bar was a real drag, but then I started a career as a protection agent, now I really get to take out the trash!" with that she kneed the man in the face. turning back to the camera she gave a thumbs up. "Thanks Thorpe Co.!"

"Thorpe Corporation is in the buisness of giving back to the common man, and unlike imperial military service, or other clandestine companies you don't have to wonder about when you'll get paid. Why not apply now!" the voice said. The commerical faded with a fanfare of trumpet blasts....

"Well there you have it. Nice bloke by the looks... this Trillionaire Industrliast", Tia rolled her eyes. "And after new employees still. He has got his fingers in many pies."

An alert sounded, the scanner showing a couple of beings coming close to the house a few over from them. Tia had made sure the cameras were working still and had set up the decoys. It had been a very long time since she'd been to this house but her friend that had owned it was one that had never been in trouble with anyone and was a person that just faded into the background with an appearance that was easily forgotten. When her friend had passed away, she'd left the house to Tia, even though she hadn't known Tia's true name either. Tia also received an alert stating her ship was under observation. She looked at Tycho... refering to them lying low and following them to their back door here they were already onto the two already...

"You were saying?"

Her sarcastic tone sounded out as she sent a 'cleaning' droid out to collect the datachip once the coast was clear to do so. It placed the chip into a receptor and relayed the message back to where Tia was as to not give away their exact location. Tia figured she would have to rent out this place and not come back to it if this Thorpe was going to cause them trouble.

"What do you think he wants?"

The safehouse was actually quite nice, but even nicer was all the info Tia pulled up in a very small amount of time. Not quite so nice was the fact that Thorpe's people were doing a good job of tracking them down so far. All they could do was wait and plan for now....

"From the holonet presentations, it's clear that this guy likes to think of himself as a hero of the common people, though he's hardly common himself," Tycho analyzed. "I think that he thinks that he has something that we want, and he's going to offer it to us at a price that I don't want to begin to consider.

"He's the type that has monopolies, owns probably most of Coronet, and has quite an organization to protect himself from people that want him dead...like us, shortly," the vigilante continued.

"The way I see it, there are two ways we can do this," he stated. "We can either go in together for a little more firepower and risk stealth, or one of us can go in solo and the other can stay here to provide instructions and data via a tight-beam transmission.

"Of course, we don't really have a goal in mind yet, but we can come up with one pretty quick," he finished.

"I would consider a third option..." said a voice out of no where. The two vigilantes spun quickly, if thier had been a third party present, he would have been shot instantly. Lycus however knew who he was dealing with and wasn't about to make any risky moves. The small datachip projected a small image of Lycus on to a small counter in the hideout. "No need for alarm, this device has no weapon, I assure if my aim was to harm you, I would have had my fighter pilots simply blast your strong hold into oblivion. Doubtless this would be useless, as I am sure two intelligent and well traveled warriors such as you would find away out." Lycus said with a smirk.

"This comm data chip contains the directions to my exact location, exactly 1.2 kilometers, as the crow flies, give or take a meter or two...so there is need to worry about my proximity, and my guards are on strict orders...no offensive actions against you." He said this and leaned back upon the bench he was sitting in. Taking a breath he continued. "The bar was quite unfortunate, lost several good men there, but it was worth it to see you two in action...impressive I must say. The man you took down was in charge of sector IV security, no big loss, still I wish you had been a little more gentle, help is hard to find..."

It quickly faded as he saw the two didn't get the morbid humor. "Your defenses are very admirable, I lost an entire team of operatives trying to crack the defenses on one of your ships...the Pazaak...once again you have exceeded my expectations. I like that in a woman." He said in a haunting borish tone. He quickly returned to buisness, "Lets get to the point, I know you two have more interesting things to do then stand around talking to shadows, I have an offer for the both of you, but I detest dealings over such fragile media don't you? Meet me at the Memorial Park here on Corellia, its not as nice as the recreation areas on Coruscant but I think it quaint...I promise to be alone and unarmed...we'll have lunch and discuss a proposition." He sensed hesitation from the two. "Please come, its such a lovely day, besides who refuses a free meal? One more thing, do you like Naboonese Wine?" He asked in a most serious manner.

----

At a park exactly where Lycus said he would be, sat Lycus Thorpe. Conversing as calmly on the data comm as an office worker discussing tea with his mother. A table was set up, prepared with generous servings of cakes and wines. "I ask that you be prompt though....I dislike tardiness."

((you really do need to read the posts properly... the datachip wasn't brought into their location ))

Tia had spun round, her wrist launcher raised, her hand flicking up her blaster in seconds. It seemed even the projected message from the other building had the effects of showing him there through the connection with her other device. Tia's eyes narrowed as she took in the appearance of the man himself. She muttered to herself that they better not have hostile intent or act offensively towards them or she'd use lethal methods next time.

She did smirk when he said he'd lost an entire team trying to get into her ship. She did hope he had given up... if he didn't want to lose anymore he'd be wise to leave it alone. Tia rolled her eyes when he mentioned liking that about a woman. She'd heard that many lines that it was old. Her eyes went to Tycho, almost snorting with amusement as he said Coruscant instead of Corellia.

"Oh sure... alone with just a hundred or so bodyguards is all..."

She raised her eyebrow towards Tycho, the unspoken question... 'Should they?' Thorpe was quite insistant with his... request.

"I assure you Miss 'Tia' I am a man of my word. When I promise something, it is done, what good is a person if his or her words can't be trusted? Besides I didn't come to Corellia simply to have picnics and shoot vigilantes and pretty dancers from parts unknown...still if you're afraid of me, then I'll let you be on your way." Lycus said with a slight nod. "I am not some random back alley thug after your purse...or whatever it is you carry credits in." He said with another smirk. "If youre man Tycho there is in fear of your saftey then he can come alone, I don't care one way or the other...and do be swift, I detest stale food." The wording of the sentence was subtle, Lycus simply sat back with his hand under his chin as if he were waiting on the next transport.
