Do not give into the pain my friends, trust the healing powers of the force.

Rann let the force rush over him,its emense powers filling his body. Every fiber of his being tingled with energy. The wounds on his leg began to heal themselves. He was not an expert at force healing, but it seemed that the force itself was taking control and he was mearly a vessel for its power. He believed in the force completely without question,it seemed his trust made him blessed by the forces energies.

He reached out to Mara and Leo...

Feel the force, trust in it....

He channeled the healing energy that had filled his body and sent it out towards every injured Jedi. With their powers combined the wounds meant nothing.

The enemy werent going to wait for then to heal though. As an enemy trooper charged towards him, Rann swept his blade effortlessly across the mans leg cleaning slicing them off from the knee down. As the trooper fell the nearly healed Rann stood up and threw his Saber into the oncoming troops.

Orrick had taught him the basics of telekenesis but in his travels alone he had mastered it. The blade flew through the air like a bird of of prey then became a whirlwind of deadly energy upon contact with the enemy. The lightsaber spun around increasingly faster held at kneck level cutting forward into the enemy troops. Like cut flowers several heads fell to the ground.

Rann brought the saber back to his hand still spinning it around incredibley fast but now it front of him its enegry had become shield. He held it in front of him his hands moving in a blur so all anyone approaching would see was a spiral of flame orange energy. As blaster bolts ricocheted from his saber causing a deadly hail heading back to the enemy he edged his way over to Mara and Leo.

"I cant keep this up forever but I should be able to do it long enough for you to heal."

Letting the force take over his body he tapped into its infinate powers once more and channeled it through his body. He pushed the healing energies towards the couple.

Leo, do not get angry because Mara is hurt. Use your love for her to heal her....I will help all I can. Just remember, we're not going to loose anyone today.

*Raul winced in pain as the slug pulled his hand free of his lightsaber. The impact felt as if a slege hammer had been swung full force onto his hand. His armor prevented the slug from tearing the flesh, but he felt certain that many bones within his hand had been broken. Immediately after, A blaster bolt Sizzled into his knee. His black armor protected him for the most part, The thick plasteel melted away. He Forced the pain to leave him with the force.

He looked up, Now, he was one with the force, He brought his Injured hand back to the cool hilt of his lightsaber, the emerald blade whirred through the air, reflecting the blaster shots. To him they were precived slowly, He easily sent them flying back toward their origin. The only thing that seemed realtime was Rann's lightsaber, twirling through the air, slashing down the ranks of troopers. Being severly inhibited telekenetically, he was not able to do anything like Rann's skillful manipulation of the blade, however he could easily block anything that came their way. He positioned himself in a sound positon, where he could cover the others until they were again able to fight.

He sent a telepathic message to the group.*

"Rann, we're with you. the force is our ally, and a powerful ally it is, However due to my retarded development, telekenetically, Im gonna need someone to watch out for rockets and grenades..."

Leo heard Rann and Rauls message, and he felt their power. But they meant nothing. He was only focusing on deflecting the laser blasts and barrages of slugs that wereflying toward he and Mara. the silver blade seemd to be bleeding as it deflected the laser blasts as quickly as they were fired. Leo was in a dance meant to protect a fallen friend.

Leo knew what he had to do and to do it, he would only injure himself more. He threw his hand forward and began calling upon a power he had decided he would never teach anyone. It was a power that was pure evil. the last time he had used it, he was fighting his former master on Acrid. That was a time of darkness and light for him. It was that day he became a father.

With help from Rann and Rauls sabers, Leo was able to form a ball of blackness in the palm of his hand. He pushes his hand forward and and the ball blasts through everything in its path. If it hitds asolduiers arm, the arm is destroyed. Any metal it hit, became molten slag. And it flew through the middle of the army, killing, and melting. It flew until it struck the transport that had landed the SEED troopers on Naboo. Upon impact with the engines, the ship erupts in a firey hell.

Leo stares at the flame with it burning in his eyes. He looks at his hand and sees it is covered in burns and blisters. A side affect of using this power and not knowing true evil.

He picks up his lightsaber with his good hand and ignites a single silver blade. His breath was ragged as he struggled to block even simple shots.

(OOC: Wow, you mean Nahstaa didn't fall down and die off nothing-ness? Lol, j/k. Good to see you back.)

Var smirked as nothing happened for a while. He thought he'd fooled his own master, already. Shanti was at his side, but he couldn't see what she was doing. Var hoped she was helping him build the force-wall to keep Master Nahstaa out of their minds. Already Var was feeling powerful, and thought wow, I can't believe I'm already stronger than Master Nahstaa!

He wasn't.

All of a sudden, his legs started shaking. At first they felt like jelly, then he couldn't feel them at all. He looked down, surprised. As he looked down, Var broke the concentration of his wall, and Master Nahstaa flooded his mind. His legs were still shaking, but then, out of nowhere, stopped. His knee's were bent, like he was ready to jump, but they weren't moving. Then he collapsed. Avararda's eyes were wide with surprise as he fell.

A sharp, pointed stick was aiming right for his head as he fell, but Var could see- no, not see, feel the stick. The Force controlled him, as Var seemed to be pushed by an invisible hand. He twisted, and landed. Var stayed on the ground, regaining his breath. How did I do that? I didn't even know that stick was there! Then he realized it was the Force. Just another skill I can add to my list of Force powers. Let's see, I have the ability to move small objects, and now I can sense danger in the future. Neat! He still did not know how he was pushed.

Smiling, he stood up, brushing of his clothes. OK, for now, I am just going to wait for Nahstaa. But in the future, I need to harness those two powers, and learn to be able to use them on purpose. Still smiling, he waited for Nahstaa.

His apprentice had been far too overconfident... he should have learned his lesson now... but that lesson needed to be re-inforced... Nahstaa simply did nothing to avardara, letting him sweat it out, becoming overly cautious... instead he started to weave his way into shanti's mind... He gently flicked through her memories, making sure he didnt see anything too personal, but finding some minor memories that he could use against her... he wouldnt be able to keep this going for long, or things could get dangerous.

he decided he would give shanti a run, and maybe hit var once more, but then he would call it quits for today... they would need time to let all of this sink in. Gently he brought a memory of shanti's childhood to the forfront of her mind... Of her old rival taunting her, breaking down her barriers.... he made her envisage 4 of them all pointing at her, and surrounded her with darkness that only she could see or feel. Gently, and without her knowing, he surrounded her with his presence, so he could catch her if anything happened... he would let her fall a short way, but not let her fall into danger.

The rest of the troopers from that first transport that had landed move forwards, weapons at the ready. A few of the troopers, those closest to the area where the Jedi were standing about, stumble as thin spears crafted out of ice come crashing, seemingly out of nowhere ”“ after a moment, most of these troopers continue, their armor being able to protect them from such a weak offensive. Circling the area where the Jedi were, using the surrounding debris and rubble for cover, the troopers, still over fifty strong, prepare to fully engage the enemy. A moment after both stun grenades and smoke grenades are thrown, a dozen troopers rocket into the air, propelled by jetpacks. These air-borne troopers, using their height to their advantage, unload on the Jedi with their heavy repeaters and shockwave cannons ”“ the obviously weary Leonardo Stovachi is the first to get hit.

A shockwave blast, impossible to block or deflect by conventional means, rains down on Stovachi; the Jedi is knocked down, and his lightsaber sent flying. The trooper that had fired that blast lands, feet first, on Stovachi's back, and hits the fallen Jedi over the back of the head. As this happens, the other troopers, those who had not rocketed up into the air, attack. Spotting Raul, a few of these troopers begin to fire off rounds of heavy slugs ”“ Raul is hit twice in the upper chest. As this happens, a few others concentrate on taking down Rann ”“ Rann's mind seemed to be elsewhere, as he was just standing around (channeling your energies towards your wounded allies, I believe that is how you put it). Grinning, a single trooper unloads round after round of laser blasts, each pounding through the Jedi known as Rann. As Rann crumbles, barely alive, a few other troopers move towards the fallen form of Stovachi's wife. The sounds of the battle cease as a trooper draws a blaster pistol and squeezes off a single shot ”“ the shot connects with the woman's upper body, possibly burning through one of her lungs.

***

Commander Ulyaoth, still aboard the first transport, chuckles as he watches the battle on a view-screen to his right. The battle was being recorded by several small, spherical droids, and streamed to several secure stations.

***

A trooper ducks behind a huge boulder, and checks to see if a fallen comrade was still alive - a moment later, that same trooper slides a new charge into his heavy repeater, and leaps over that boulder to face the Jedi Knight known as Andon Colos. The trooper quickly fires off a blast at the Jedi Knight's feet, stirring up a cloud of dust and dirt. With that cover, the trooper leaps at his enemy. Ignoring the emerald blade of the Jedi Knight's lightsaber, which happens to cut off the trooper's arm, the trooper wraps around Andon Colos. During the struggle that ensues, the Jedi Knight is cut across the chest. Now, usually, when an arm is cut off by a lightsaber, it is cauterized, and thus doesn't bleed ”“ that is not the case here. The struggle had knocked the trooper's stump of an arm about, and now, the trooper was bleeding all over Andon Colos. Some of this blood connects with the open wound on the Jedi Knight's chest. As Andon Colos is infected with a galaxy far, far away's equivalent of AIDS, the brave trooper collapses, defeated.

***

Another trooper falls to the ground, his arm slashed open by Orrick's weapon.

"What, this is going to take like five stitches! That is not assault, that's an insult!"

Several more troopers advance on Orrick, weapons blazing. As that first trooper fires towards Orrick's front, the troopers behind pump up the Jedi Knight's back with heavy slugs.

As Orrick and Andon's dance progresses forward, Orrick watches in horror as events unfold around him. He could feel the pain of each and every one of his comrades. He could feel their suffering. First Leo, then his apprentices, and even Mara! Soon, once again, Andon and Orrick were the only ones left standing. He could feel the life draining out of those around him. Andon and Orrick could help them, but not them all! How were they to choose? How were they to select this friend, and not that. Orrick watched in surprise as one of the troopers practically suicides himself into Andon, to simply infect him with a disease. Orrick experienced the pain and suffering of all his companions.

And then he experienced his own pain. Several soldiers had managed to get around to the back of the fighting duo, and Orrick could not save himself from both ahead and behind. We could feel as several slugs found their way into Orrick's back. They left behind a stinging sensation unlike any other, and a pain that Orrick had not felt before. His mind torn, and his body broken, Orrick stumbled for a mere second. In that second, something deep inside... at the very core of his being... something snapped. There was no more Jedi Code. There was no more good over evil. There was survival. Now, Orrick simply had to survive. He had to save himself, and his fallen friends. There would be no holding back now...

In a rage, Orrick slammed his fist into the ground. A rumble emanated from somewhere deep within the planet's very being. Something was happening. Sensing a change, many of the troopers stopped to check their bearings. The rumble grew in intensity. In moments, the ground was literally shaking. The shaking became chaotic. Soldiers were knocked off their feet. Rock projections shot up out of the ground, and formed building high pillars where previously there was merely soft, unplowed earth. The entire landscape was changing, and fast. The soldiers, who had had no training for this sort of thing, were confused at best. Short of panic, the troops tried to regroup, only to find themselves thrown about again. In the very center of the commotion stood Orrick.

His eyes had turned an eerie blood red color. Out before him, his midnight-blue lightsaber had been ignited to full length. Both ends now blazed with illumined light. Now they fear the fury of the Jedi... The pain in Orrick's side now fueled his attack. Orrick could sense movement behind him. He turned, and flung his double-bladed lightsaber. Spinning like a top, the blade mowed down the troopers that had put the slugs into his back. Controlled by Orrick's mind, it proceeded to take care of the jet troopers overhead. A trooper before him that had managed to gain his footing pulled a quick shot off at the 'unarmed' Jedi Knight. As the blast zipped toward him, however, time seemed to slow. Orrick raised his hands out before him, and as the laser neared the enraged Jedi, it slowed. Just before it came in contact with his hands, it stopped... and then proceeded to return to its shooter- burning through his armor and ending his life instantly. Andon proceeded to defend anything else that came their way... His lightsaber, which had finished it's work behind and above him, was recalled to Orrick's hands, one of which now unleashed blasts of energy at the oncoming troops that had recovered from the ongoing quake.

The terrain before him had become almost maze-like... The rocky pillars divided the land. His fallen comrades were now mostly protected from the troops, who were now few and far between. They could concentrate on their healing. The shaking began to subside... but Orrick was not finished yet. He would not be finished 'til each and every one of those troopers were dead. Orrick and Andon pushed forward through the now rocky landscape. They had become the hunters, and the land trembled in their footsteps...

In the capital city of Naboo, in one of the more local and homesy shops, aptly titled Correlli's Confectionaries- a subsidiary of KVC Enterprises dealing in the intergalactic candy trade.

A young boy of about eight walks into the shop with his little sister of about five. The boy has a great smile, sandy colored hair, and adorable, deep blue eyes, resembling his sister and mothers.

"Hello mister," he asks the man manning the counter. "I'd like to buy a candy bar for my sister." He is the soul of genorisity and altruism, the type who in 20 years time would lead the galaxy into a new age of unrivaled peace and prosperity, bringing about a universal harmony with his wisdom and leadership.

"Sure thing sonny," the clerk says, smiling.

At that, the boy clutches his chest, letting go of his doe eyed little sister.

Something felt wrong, very wrong.

In the middle of the sweet's shop he hears another voice, malevolent and full of unrivaled power and hate.

I hand out death like candy!

At that, in the middle of the confectionary shop, the boy bursts into flames, seeming to split in two. He lets out a shrill, ear shattering screach. His sister, wide eyed in pure terror echoes that as she watches the flames, sent by a demon reborn on Santiy's End, consume her brother utterly. The clerk douses the boy with water, but the supernatural flames are not quelled.

With a last cry of "I love you," to his sister, the young angel departs, mortally stricken by his painful burns. Now a heap of smolderish ash, his fate could be seen as symbolic of the forces of life and hope in the galaxy.

After the ashes are carted away for burial by the grief stricken family and the girl is sent to a center for conseling, the clerk sends out a report to his boss:

Please inform KVC Enterprises Marketing and Research Division 2 that a boy of 8 caught fire spontaneously in the store today. Damages covered by insurance, sales expected to take a hit as word spreads. Chance of liability approximately 0.05%

((For those about to die, you have all had 3 days to respond.))

"No, get above those rocks!"

Commander Ulyaoth screams the order at the crew of the remaining transport as a life-size hologram of the Sith Lord Darth Havoc appears. At once, Ulyaoth turns and bows to the hologram, turning slightly red as he does so.

"You know what you have been commanded to do, Commander Ulyaoth. Do not fail me."

Ulyaoth nods gravely, and returns his attention to the battle. At this point, the transport had climbed high up into the sky, and was positioned directly above the Jedi. Ulyaoth barks a new order at the crew, uncomfortably aware of the hologram behind him, and, moments later, huge gates open up on the bottom of the heavily armed and armored transport. From these gates, thick black cables drop. A few moments pass more troopers ”“ over fifty in number ”“ begin to slide down these cables. The first troopers to land roll to the side, and toss a few stun grenades in the direction of the nearest Jedi ”“ the nearest Jedi, who just happened to be the fallen Leonardo Stovachi. As the energy from the stun grenades encompasses Stovachi, most of the troopers turn to fire at his comrades ”“ most of the troopers, save one for one, who heads over to the fallen form of Stovachi's beloved wife, Mara. That one trooper smiles nastily, and fires at the woman's head, killing her instantly.

The killing had begun.

As some troopers pursue the more active Jedi, Orrick and the plagued Andon Colos, several troopers, kneeling together behind a huge chunk of fallen rock, train their weapons on the form of Raul. The troopers all fire at once, and Raul's body is riddled with both heavy slugs and laser blasts ”“ Raul dies moments later. As the ground is tarnished by Raul's blood, more troopers fire their weapons at the already fallen Jedi known as Rann. The troopers weren't sure if this Rann was dead or not, but decided to be better safe than sorry ”“ Rann's body is pierced by round after round of heavy slugs. After checking to see that Rann was indeed dead, the troopers move on.

***

Ulyaoth turns to the hologram.

"I have just received word that three of the Jedi have been killed, and another has been injured and stunned. Two more are on the run."

The hologram nods, pleased.

***

As Leonardo Stovachi is searched and stripped of both his weapons and clothes, two dozen troopers continue to pursue Orrick and Andon Colos through the rocky maze. Stovachi is injected with a toxic substance designed to keep Force users unconscious for weeks on end, shackled, and then pulled up into the transport. Onboard, Stovachi is dragged to a holding cell, and left there.

***

Following directions from the crew aboard the transport, the troopers pursuing the last two Jedi quickly find their prey. The two dozen heavily armed and armored troopers quickly surround the two wounded Jedi ”“ it really was unfair, the two Jedi didn't stand a chance. All two dozen troopers open fire, their stun blasts ripping through the two Jedi. Less than a second later, Orrick and Andon Colos both collapse. Like Stovachi, the two Jedi are searched, stripped, drugged, and pulled up into the transport, where they are placed in separate holding cells.

***

Before the transport leaves the system, the heads of Mara, Raul, and Rann are cut off, and bagged.

***

The transport leaves.

((To recap, Leonardo Stovachi, Orrick, and Andon Colos have been drugged and imprisoned, and the other three have been killed.))

Shanti had felt Avararda's energy shift, though she was unsure of what to do. Before she had time to reach out to him, she witnessed as his legs began to shake and saw him fall to the ground. What is happening? No more had the thought come into her mind, than it was overtaken by a flashback of a horrible moment in her life. Suddenly, she was a young girl again, immersed in the pain of teasing. She was not remembering it, she was living it with all the emotional turmoil of a 6 year old girl.

Feeling small and afraid, she tried to run away. Her legs felt anchored to the spot; she couldn't move. Their taunts repeated over and over in her mind, comsuming her reality. With each word that reached her ears, another piece of her safety was ripped away. She wanted to cry or scream or run away; anything to make it stop. But it was as if she were frozen; unable to free herself from the misery now enveloping her. She felt her mind starting to close, severing itself from the torture. She felt as if she were being torn in two. The desire to fight back began to disolve as her mind searched for a space where she would be safe. Closing her eyes, she waited to be free.

Nahstaa cut his presence in shanti's mind, releasing her... She had been taken far enough, she would have to be taught how to fight back... He released var too, deciding that they had both experienced all they needed, and possibly all that they could handle at present.

Probing deep within himself, he could feel the begginings of a new madness inside him... he didnt fear this, but he suppressed it... It definately would not be good if he went insane whilst teaching his apprentices... he needed some time to think...

"I have shown you both a small sample of what can be done... In battle, your mind can be used against you... I suggest you both get some rest, and discuss what happened, and try to think of a way to beat it. In the morning i will help you both... Im sorry it happened like this, but i feel that you will be all the more prepared for this..."

Quietly he turned on his heel, and walked off into the forest... when he found a small clearing, he collapsed, shaking... He had thought he had been able to overcome that small part of him that was with the darkness, but he had found himself taking pleasure in his apprentices struggles... He needed to talk to his sister...

Picking up his commlink, he noticed there was already a message... after reading through it, he decided that he needed to check where they were, and that he definately needed to go and find her... he would halt training until he was sure he could continue it... he would need to consult the council also.

He keyed a comm to skye, and then colapsed in exhaustion...

When nahstaa awoke from his reverie, it was early evening... He checked his comm, and then stood up, shaking himself off... His eyes were sunken, and he was slowly becoming pale... he didnt feel well at all...

He strode back to the villa. He called his apprentices, told them to grab their stuff, they needed to move off. He strode back outside, and prepped the ship, getting it ready for lift off, and programming their course into the navigation computers.

he programmed a remote, so that once he pushed a button they would take off, and head straight for the last call... he waited for his apprentices

((we are off to see my sister, and then head off from there... we are also going to go get your lightsabres soon.))

The oppression quickly lifted and Shanti was once again herself standing in a field with Avararda and her master Nahstaa.

Completely unable to speak, she watched as Nahstaa turned and walked away from them. She sensed in him an instability but rapidly dismissed her feeling, as she could not be sure if it were he or herself she was sensing.

Beginning to grasp what had just happened, Shanti felt afraid. She had always been able to sense what others where thinking or feeling, but she had never had anyone enter into her mind. She suddenly felt insecure and unprotected. Her first instinct was to speak to her Master about it, but it seemed evident that was not what he wanted her to do. She looked to Avararda. Maybe he would... She stopped herself. She was afraid to reach out, to trust him. What just happened to me? Insecurity was not a feeling Shanti was accustomed to. Trust had never been something to earn, but rather something to be given freely, without thought of expectation. She needed to meditate; to find herself, her center.

Without words, she looked to Avararda then walked away, back to the villa; fighting to calm her mind. The challenge proved too great; Shanti slowed her pace significantly. Walking meditation. With great awareness and intent, she placed her right foot to the earth; aware of every muscle, tendon, bone, joint, as she pressed her foot down to reconnect with the living force around her; repeating the same action with the left foot. Taking several minutes, to move just two steps, Shanti felt herself beginning to awaken. She continued her mediation, allowing all else to leave her conciousness. Breath... body... life force... She worked to find 'home" again.

Early the next morning, Shanti awoke to her Master's voice. She had many questions for her Master regarding the events of the day prior. However, she would not have the time now. Nahstaa had instructed she and Avararda to get their stuff and meet him on the ship. Although she felt confused about their early departure, she decided to surpress her concerns and do as she had been instructed. Fortunately, she not taken the time to unpack, so she was able to pack the few things she had removed from her bags, quickly. As Shanti picked up her bags, she noticed Avararda was ready to go as well. In silence, they walked from the villa to meet their Master, already on the ship.

Var's mind was relieved as Nahstaa let go. He felt as though a great burden was removed. Smiling as Nahstaa told him of what he was capable of, he stored that in his mind and took his advice: he left for the cabin of which Nahstaa showed him. As he entered the door, he noticed his bags were still unpacked. I'll get to it later, he thought, moving towards the fire. Slowly getting down, he was soon asleep in front of the fire.

When he woke up, Shanti was packing her bags. "Hey," he said, calling her attention. "Whats going on?" She stopped, looked at him, and said "Master Nahstaa is calling us. He really looked distressed. I hope he's OK." Her own look of distress stole her countenance. "Anyway, pack your bags, lazyhead. We're off." With that, she left for the ship. Var grabbed his unpacked-bags and ran after her.

He walked up the ramp to the ship. Nahstaa did indeed look worried, so Var dropped his bags in a corner and stood in silence.

Until he needed something. "Master Nahstaa, pardon my interruption, but can you teach my sister and I how to communicate via the Force? I'd really like to learn how..." he said. His eyes widened as he recalled what he'd said about Shanti. My sister... I can't believe I just said that. He smiled, half hoping Shanti had caught that, half hoping she didn't.

Clicking the button, nahstaa nodded and walked to the living quarters as the ship made the final calculations before taking off... When his apprentices joined him, he looked at them for a moment... I feel something coming... Something within myself... i should teach them everything i can that will help them... Realising that one of his apprentices was very emotionally sensitive, he instantly shut out the force from him, becoming to all force senses like an empty patch of space...

"Did you notice anything just then? I hid my force presence... Ill bring it back now, but observe it... You need to find each others presence... As you are brother and sister, you will have a bond, so it should be a natural thing between you... When you have found the bond, you sort of have to... Touch the persons presence with your own... Then speak to them in your mind... Ill speak to you..."

Gently he spoke into his apprentices minds... "Its fairly simple once you know how to do it... and once you understand it, its simple enough to simply alter the communication, so that no one else can tell what you are saying..."

Nahstaa sat back, and glanced at a screen... They had two hours until they arrived at coruscant. he watched his apprentices, fighting back the emotion that was slowly bubbling away inside him... He hid himself from the world, and as he did so, the river once again overcame him... He hadnt felt this since he had died, but now it was back... He was falling slowly to the darkside, and didnt know what to do about it... all he could think of was to get to the last call, his sister would be there... and then who knew what would happen.

He withdrew into himself, and sat there, watching his apprentices...

"Did you feel that?" Master Nahstaa asked. Var didn't know what he meant, until he felt a sudden surge in what must have been the Force. It felt like five more people had entered the ship, yet only three were there. Thats what Nahstaa meant. "You need to find each others presence... As you are brother and sister, you will have a bond, so it should be a natural thing between you... When you have found the bond, you sort of have to... Touch the persons presence with your own... Then speak to them in your mind." Nahstaa said, replying to Var's comment. Looking at Shanti, he said "OK, lets try this. I'll go first." With a deep breath, he closed his eyes. He tried to feel everyone in the room. Not physically, but mentally, with the Force. Nahstaa was easy, his Force presence was great, as he was a full-fledged Jedi. Contacting Shanti was different; she wasn't attuned with the Force like Nahstaa was, and neither was Avararda.

Concentrating harder, he tried to send a message to Shanti. Hello. Can you hear this? he thought, opening his eyes to see if she did.

Gazing out the window at the beautiful land they were now leaving, Shanti heard Avararda; "Master Nahstaa, pardon my interruption, but can you teach my sister and I how to communicate via the Force? I'd really like to learn how..." Warmth rose through her; a pleasing calm. Just as Shanti began to turn around to face them, she felt the warmth rush away from her body. Suddenly, she felt cold; a void as if she were in a vacuum. Instinctually, he eyes moved to her Master. It felt as if he were no longer there, his presence was gone. Her eyes could see him standing before her, but she felt nothing. Before she could find the words, Master Nahstaa said, "Did you notice anything just then? I hid my force presence... Ill bring it back now, but observe it... You need to find each others presence... As you are brother and sister, you will have a bond, so it should be a natural thing between you... When you have found the bond, you sort of have to... Touch the persons presence with your own... Then speak to them in your mind... Ill speak to you..."

Shanti, again, began to feel her Master's presence. She was confused; her mind reeling. His words, then, entered her mind. Working to be mindful she focused her energy to Avararda. She reached out for him, he still felt a bit closed off to her. Then the words came to her, Hello. Can you hear this? A smile crept across her face, without much thought she replied Yes, dear brother, I can hear you. And can you hear me? she inquired.

Her mind took the small break to move back to her confusion at what her Master had done. She allowed her eyes to wash over him. She sensed, once again, that he was there but not present. Something felt... wrong. Perhaps it is just residual from what he did before She worked to dismiss her feeling. Avararda's voice brought her back to him. I hear you. Now can I sense you. Shanti eyes met her brothers, trying to relay her confusion without using words. She extended her hand; gesturing "Just a minute".

"Master Nashtaa, please forgive my interruption, but I have to ask something." she paused, attempting to find the words. Hesitantly she continued, "When you did that... thing that you did... You felt dead to me, as if you presence was completely gone. I could see you but not feel you." again she paused.

"This is hard... is that what.." she released a sigh, "the darkside feels like?"

Shanti felt her stomach flip as she spoke the final words. How could she ask that of him; he had been a Sith. Fighting to be strong, she prepared herself for his response... if there was one.

(PSST!!! I think we should be posting in the Last Call thread! This'll be my last post here!!!)

Var and Shanti had just mastered speaking to each other in their minds, when Shanti spoke. "This is hard... is that what.." she released a sigh, "the darkside feels like?" Var turned to her, a sharp glare in his eyes. "No! You have no idea what the dark side feels like!" Then he found himself yelling. "Don't speak of what you do not know of! You shouldn't have even asked! It was a stupid question!!" Var felt rage enter him. His fist's were clenched, and he was breathing hard. Nahstaa and Shanti were both looking at him. Slowly he unclenched his hands, and looked at them, as if they were the reason he freaked out. He then looked back at the two other people. Avararda turned and walked back to his room, not bothering to take his bags.

The extent of the Stovachi family was not confined to Corellia. The family fortune had reached the small planet of Naboo. In many ways, the family fortune had helkped fund many programs to help the people of Naboo. But in some ways, military help had been granted. Thus, the people of Naboo had stored the DNA of the Stovachi family, in honor of their contributions.

Emerald eyes flickered as life poured into the new body of the Stovachi heir. Black hair swirled with the wetness of bacta. The muscles of the body were soon as strong as the day he died.In time, conciousness would return. That time was now.

The eyes of Leonardo Stovachi opened wide with new life and his muscles pushed him out of the tank. The warrior sat shivering atop a platform above the bacta tank. But he felt different. Something had changed. Something evil had formed in him. It was the Promethius Virus, flowing through him. It had stripped him of the Force. Now he needed to protect his son, even more. With Mara dead, and both godparents kidnapped, the children of Stovachi would need protection.

"Where is the frigate my father left me? I have need of it now."

"Follow us Mr. Stovachi."

The two scientists exited the the cloning lab and lead Leo to a small private hangar containing a single ship. But a special ship. A ship built vustomly by Leo's father. A ship that he had planned to present to Leo, but which was interrpted by Leo's desire to join the Jedi. But a ship that now Leo would reclaim.

Leo ran his hands over the chromium hull of the craft. The Starsword was the peak of his father's inventions. It had been built using the inventions that Leo's father had built, weapons from many manufacturers. and Leo would make sure this ship would last. the ship had no ID. It would be programmed with an ID that Leo would present to the technicians that had been monitoring the ship.

"Log in the ship ID.

Name: Magnus Shekinah

Ship Name: Starsword

Occupation: bodyguard

Origin: Naboo

"

"Yes sir."

The Naboo scientists power up the computers and input the data Leo had given them. Soon the ships computers are running hot and powerful. In time the computers would be retrieving and storing information.

From above, the frigate resembeled a large broadsword. But instead of thrusting the blade forward, the blade trailed the hilt. The cockpit lay in the pommel of the sword. It contained computers that could track comms from 2 systems away.

The weapons systems of the Starsword almost required another pilot just to operate, but Leo had logged many fight hours, and would be able to handle it. The weapons contained a small ion cannons directly beneath the cockpit. Two more medium Ion Cannons sat on each side of the blade guard of the sword. 2 military class heavy laser cannons sat on each side of guard readyto decimate anyone who came within their firery reach. 2 multipurpose launchers stood next to these laser cannons. To protect from rear attacks, a small ion cannons stoof underneath the blade.

The engines of the Starsword were placed on the "blade" section of the ship. Upon activation they flared a bright green color, but changed to red upon flight. The engines were only beaten in strength by the Millenium Falcon and the Jade Shadow. these ships being modified by the great Corellian of them all, Han Solo.

The "hilt" of the ship was made entirely for war. It held war computers and tracking systems. The "blade" of the ship was made for living on the ship during extended periods of time. It held essentials for years for living. but there was one small room in the "blade guard" of the ship. It was an armory containing weapons and armor for personel combat. It was there that Leo made his first stop.

Within the armory, there was one suit of armor that struck Leos fancy. A forest green hued suit of armor, that had belonged to Leo's father. The armor had been modified to fit Leo and it fit very well. The armor consisited of guantlets, belt, helmet, shoulder armor, and an optinoal jetpack.

The shoulder armor was made of cortosis ore. A small specimen that Leo's father had pruchased on a lengthy business trip. It easily slide over Leo's shoulders and strapped on. He then took the gauntlets and strapped themto his wrists. Combined they contained, flamethrowers, 3000 lb cord, wrist blades, and mini rocket launcher. The gauntlets were specifically designed for Leo, they had not been used by his father. They were the only new piece in the suit. The helmet contained a 360 degree view of around Leo. The helmt contained a link to the Starsword, which would prove useful without the Force. The jetpack was simple and plain.

Leo had no idea his father held a wide array of weapons as this. But the former Corellian noble's wealth had proved useful once again.

Stovachi reached toward the bladed rack and lifts a vibrorapier from the array of weapons. This weapon would prove most useful against opponents with bladed weapons. He grabbed several other weapons for throwing and holstered them on his belt.

Two DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistols soon rested on Leos thighs. They had been modified to fire 5 extra shots, and be more accurate. Leo only hoped the modifications would be helpful in the protection of his sons. Soon two Westar-34 pistols lay nestled underneath his arms. He knew they would be a last resort. They were not powerful but fired very fast.

A Blaster rifle soon was slung over his shoulder and waited to be used.

"Thank you very much for your help. My father would be very grateful if he was still alive. Thank you."

Leo strode into the cockpit of the Starsword, amazed by the easy setup of controls his father had installed. Leo knew piloting this ship would be easy. He runs his hand along the leather of the pilots chair and spins it around. He settles down into the seath and spins it back around. His hands begins to dance along the controls as the systems begin to activate.

"Engines online."

"Weapons online."

"Shields online."

"Communications online."

"Begin construction of a Starsword II. Just in case."

Leo pushes forward on the throttle and the engines began to warm. Soon a green glow could be seen throughout the hangar and the technicians backed away from the firgate, afraid. This was the first time in 15 years this ships systems were active. Noone knew what would happen. Life flows into the engines and the green glow spreads form corner to corner.

Soon the green turns crimson and the ship bursts forth from the hangar, into the night sky.the crimson glow of the engines could be seen by all in Theed. Some would thin kthe end of the world. Some would think a gods touch had been planted in the sky. But only few knew the truth.

Within moments, the former rogue had reached the place of his capture. He looked around only to find death and destruction. Three bodies in particular were gruesome. the bodies of Rann, Raul, and Mara Stovachi. three innocents who had given their lives to protect two tiny children. But two precious children. They gave their lives, so two children could experience life. The Starsword soon lands in the midst of the former carnage. A small tube lowers from the ship and door hisses open. Leo steps from the tube and strides to the body his his wife.

Stovachi drops to his knees as he nears Mara. His arms encompass the headless form and he weeps. the one person he had found to be true in his life. He had found a way to have her killed. He brought only death to people he cared about. Perhaps he should stay away. And that is what he planned to do. But he would stay close. Close enough to watch over them.

He lays his wifes body back down and he picks up his dropped lightsaber. The blade was now the only link to his past. Nothing else was left.

Leo strides to the house, to find find his children and make sure they were ok. But what he finds, would make even the strongest man weep. One of his children were missing. Alexander Stovachi, the child he had almost lost once, was now gone. Leo falls to his knees again and cries out.

"Why is the Force doing this to me? What did I do in my former life, that made me deserve this punishment. First my wife, and now my son. The Force has abandoned me once again. and this time it wilkl pay for its timing."

Leo walks to Nathan and picks him up.

"My son. I love you with all my heart. But I must go away for a time. Your mother will return as will Orrick and Andon. But I will be gone until a time of my choosing. I do not wish for this to happen. But the Force has abandoned our family. Always remember this. You must always make your own future. Do not rely on anything. Even the Force. Goodbye."

He leans down and kisses Nathan on his head before laying him back down in the crib. The warrior slides helmet back on before his child can notice the tears along his face. With that, he sets up adefensive perimeter around Nathan. Anyone coming with ten feet of the child, would be burtned to death by flamethrowers. Unless they were able to access the datapad that Leo would leave behind.

"Password: Trakala"

"My friends. I know that things have gone from bad to worse in our time together. But I know that together, you will always make due. But you must do it without my presence. I have decided to seek out council on why the Force has abandoned my family. Orrick, take care of Mara for me. I know she will need a good friend while I am gone. Andon, please watch out for my son. He will need someone who I can trust watching over him. I know sometimes you can be crazy, but I know you have always come out alive. With that, I part from your company. A friend of mine will stopping in from time to time to check on your progress. Do not let my absence keep you from working on our project. Goobye my friends. May the Force be with you."

Leo turns from the datapad. Hopefully his freinds would fogure out the password before walking into his trap. He walks back among the carnage and scoops up the body of Mara Jade Stovachi. He would give her a proper burial. She deserved that from him. The former warrior steps into the lift tube and is soon in the armory of the Starsword. The young Corellian walks into the living quarters and lays his wifes body on a small table.

"I will miss you my love. But I must change to fit into this new life style. From this point on until my choosing, I will be known on as Magnus Shekinah."

Magnus strides into the cockpit and sets a course for Corellia. That is where he would bury his wife. that is where he himself would be buried, once his time had come. The engines of the Starsword once again burn green as they light up, but soon are a deep crimon as the blade of the universe makes flight into the galaxy. Soon the hyperdrive ignites and the frigate enters a place of lines and blocks, no points.

A tech In the Nubian cloning facility keys in a specialized code to activate the detaching process. Lights flash across his console. nourishing fluid draned from the cloning tube where A Jedi apprentice Raul Cypher's DNA was cloned, three days earlier. During the Standard programming of The clone's mind, the instruments had peaked several times, Indicating the clone's mind was having trouble accepting the Newly instilled protocols and algorithms. The Techs thought to have stabilized it through drug administration. The new Raul Cypher stood, the tubes attached to his naked body came free. A tech rushed up to help him. After he was clear of the cloning tube, another man wrapped him in a light cloak.

"Welcome back, Mr. Cypher."

The tech greeted. The clone looked over his shoulder, before he realized that the man was actually addressing him.

"Excuse me?"

He asked.

"Welcome back to reality, Mr. Cypher."

The man repeated.

"You are telling me that I Am this 'Raul cypher', character..."

"Thats right, Sir."

"And how exactly did I get here..."

He asked hesitantly.

"You were cloned, from the fallen jedi apprentice, Raul Cypher."

"So you are thats what those incessiant headaches were, You, programming me with the memories and behaviors of this other man?"

"More or less, Sir."

*Raul's clone shook his head, sat down, and began watching the holonet. He saw many Programs, but one caught his attention explicitly. It was Andon Colos' Broadcast denouncing the Jedi, and Governer Geki's Announcements.*

*The cloned Raul stood and wandered untill he found another Tech.*

"Take me to the location of 'my' death."

That may be slightly traumatic, so soon after you cloning.

"Take me there."

"Well, alright sir. Ill have to get clearance through the office firs-"

"No, you will take me there, or I will find someone who will, and you dont wish me to dispose of you..."

The man gulped.

"Very...Well..."

*The man said carefully. They borded a speeder and quicly approached a battle-scarred building. He Jumped out of the ship and Walked into the building. After a few momemts of wandering, he found the site, two bodies lay there, headless.*

"Which body is 'mine'"

He asked slowly

"This one here, with the armor."

*He bent down and pushed the body onto its back. He began unbuckling the armor. as he did so, he noticed a pair of sunglasses, partially buried beneath the rubble. He pulled them out, dusted them off and placed them over his eyes. Inside the lenses, Ccips began processing data, He played around for a few moments with the glasses before he found a menu. The bottom most option was playback. He activated it and watched some recorded events as the glasses played back to him what 'he' had seen in the last moments of his life. Anger filled him. He watched his friends fall. He and they were weak. too weak to combat the forces which had engaged them. Those men were not even Force sensitive, and yet they had killed three jedi and captured an additional three. Suddenly he remebered a commercial on the holonet, where Governer Geki had annonced a Banquet at Knave's Court. He deactivated the playback, but left the glasses on. He remove the rest of the Black armor from 'his' corpse and threw it in the back of the speeder. He also threw 'his' body in a small depression and Climbed into the speeder.

The tech piloted him back to the cloning center. there he went over the glasses entire function list, and finding a Comm, called the tie defender that sat at the jedi dojo to come to him. As he wated for it he watched the holonet and got the coordanates for Sanity's end, at the time of the scheduled banquet. By the time His ship had arrived, he hand donned his armor and weapons. He borded the ship and entered the coordanates for his rendezvous with Sanity's end. He had a lot of research to do.*

A small unnamed Corellian freighter jumps out of hyperspace over Naboo. Indy quickly scanned the planet for signs of SEED troops or bounty hunters. When the scan came up negative, she sighed in relief.

Indy didn't head for Theed. Instead she flew low over the plains until it looked like she was going to run into a large cliff. As she quickly pulled up, the occupants could barely make out a landing pad.

Indy was relieved that the base had not yet been discovered. She landed the ship and turned to Moon. "Welcome to the first Death Striker base. This is where the idea of the Death Strikers first took flight, and now, it is our hidden refuge."

She walked down the ramp into the crisp, warm Nubian air. Punching in the security code with her quick fingers, the hidden pathway down the side of the cliff was revealed.

"Now we'll just wait for the Jedi," she said.

Piro could feel the deception flowing within the rebel leader.

"No, I think I'll just kill you. ALL OF YOU!"

Piro unsheathed his Sith sword and swiftly killed all of the rebel forces and sheathed it when he was finished.

"Maybe next time you won't try to cross me."

Piro smiled a sinister smile and walked away. While in the city he ran into Revan, his apprentice who was talking to some rebels.

"Again with more rebels. This will be simple."

Piro again unshethed his blood drenched sword and buthcered the rebels. He then promptly resheathed his sword.

"Come Revan, we must find our master and finishing your training."

For Yuusuke, this was his first trip to Naboo. The warmth of the planet was unique, unlike most it had not suffered the fate of overpopulation. It was a far cry from his home planet of Coruscant.

The former law officer nodded to Indy as she described the base,

"It is amazing it remained hidden this long, very impressive."

The Stellar Princess came out of hyperspace with a jolt, shaking its passengers for a moment. Camsie's hands flew across the computer put off to the side, checking the ship's current coordinates and comparing them to those the caamasi had recieved from Indy. After a moment, the ship circled around to the planet's opposite side. The engines flickered out for a moment, and the ship drifted silently towards the planet's surface, leveling out for its decent. The thrusters came back online with a roar and the ship plummeted through the atmosphere of Naboo and settling comfortably above ground on the low plains.

They drifted forward until a gaping cliff was in the ship's sight of view and the ship hovered at it's height. A secondary glance at the ship's coordinants, the recieved coordinants and the cliff comfirmed Camsie's suspisions. The Stellar Princess blasted towards the cliff and steered into the landing bay. The docking ramp lowered and out stepped Camsie who was investigating his surroundings. Upon sighting Indy and Moon the caamasi spoke.

"A magnificent structure."

Armiena thought that the coordinates that Indy fed them looked familiar. When her ship burst into realspace, giving them a spectacular view of Naboo's surface. She smiled nostalgically; it had been a very long time since she had set foot on Naboo--she was a young child, the last time she had been in the system.

When Armiena exited her ship, she glanced behind her back, taking in a beautiful view of Naboo's plains. It was almost like a little slice of Alderaan, she decided.

"I must compliment you on the location of this base, Indy." She breathed in deeply, letting the clean, practically unpolluted air relax her muscles. The breath of air was as effective as a medical relaxant--even more effective, because it seemed to give her surge of energy that no painkiller could possibly provide.

Her new friends would be safe here--at least for a while, she decided.

Indy smiled at the two Jedi. "Thank you. I love this planet...I hope nothing happens to it as a result of our presence here."

She lead the way down the steep path into the hidden base. "Feel free to make yourselves comfortable and find a room. I'm going to my office to make sure there were no transmissions for us while we were gone."

She headed to the small, colorfully decorated room. Just being here agin brought back memories of a much simpler time. She remembered being bored and secure, and looked back on those times with fondness.

Resolvedly, she sat down and checked the transmissions. There was one, from a new faction of Bothans. The message was brand new, only a few hours old, and the thought had Indy worried. If the Bothans had found the base, it should be easy enough for others to find it. She hoped that was not the case, however.

Pondering the message, she decided to go along with the Bothans, at least for now. After uploading a copy of the message onto a spare datapad, she accessed the internal communications relay.

"Moon? I'm sorry to bother you, but would you please report to my office?"

She handed him the datapad. "We've recieved contact from a group of Bothans forming a new faction. It is basically a spy organization from what I can tell. They have propsed an alliance, having heard news of the Death Strikers."

She paused breifly, then continued. "They are sending one of their agents to the Last Call to meet a representative of our organization. I'm asking you to go. I know we just returned from Coruscant, but I believe this is a wise move on our part.

"I will leave the decision up to you. You can stay here, and I'll go myself, or you can go in my place. I trust you to be cautious and to think through all they have to offer."

She waited for his reply, a collected look on her face that said that she wouldn't hold it against him if he didn't want to go.
