Ish made a series of random jumps to different points in the galaxy to throw off any followers. Eventually his GS7 arrived above the Borleaisian atmosphere.

With proper clearance codes, Ish was able to land at the dojo.

The last time Darla had been with the Jedi they had been on Hoth. She had heared that the Jedi Temple on Hoth had been destroyed and she had never found out the new location of the Jedi.

The Jedi dojo......

It must have been some sort of training facility. Darla didnt know where it was located but she could feel her Master's presence through the force. Her hands flew over the ships controls without any concious thought she typed in a set of co-ordinates that semed to feel right. With eyes closed she pulled down on the lever that would take her into hyperspace and she was on her way.

The Crazy Mynock flew through space in sublight speed near the galactic core.

Brina stood up and headed over to the datascreen over to her right. She accessed the Holonet, skimming through the ads and news clips. Suddenly, one caught her eye. It was an add for a new organization known as the Link. It seemed to be a good fit for Brina. They said they were looking for pilots, and she could easily fill a job as mechanic as well.

She groaned when she saw that the organization was based on Courascant, however, she sent off a comm to the leaders, hoping that they still had room for her in the Link.

Karii admired the the corridor of hyperspace as the ship raced through it. Straight as an arrow, and hands clasped behind his back, Karii brought memories of the empires granduer of old. From what he'd heard now he could not even be definate who was the true emperor or his right hand. He truely missed Captain Phillep.

An ensign interrupted his thought to tell him that the Star Destroyer was nearing Kuat. The look he received back from Karii was one of utter disgust. Groveling, the ensign ran off to his previous station.

Leaving the Mon Calamari atmosphere, Mael prepared the ship for hyperdrive, then realized he had no idea where he wanted to go. He definately did not want to have any more dealings with Jedi, and although the Sith may be more to his liking, he had heard horror stories of their atrocities. He needed to find somewhere "off the map."

He decided to just ask his Mon Cal "friend" who he had taken hostage.

"Aaris III is not far from here," he replied.

"Very well", said Mael. He punched in the coordinates and leaned back in the seat. The freighter jumped into hyperspace.

A pair of V-19 Torrent starfighters are dispatched to a select set of co-ordinates in the vast emptiness of space. Their mission is to wait for a certain ship to arrive, and to escort it back to their homeworld.

A Coreillian freighter exits hyperspace at the agreed coordinates and detects the two V-19 Torrent fighters.

"This is Induran Habithae of the Death Strikers," the captain of the ship commed. "I am ready to continue to our next stop."

The two Torrent fighters move closer to the Corellian freighter; while one of them sends an encrypted and untraceable transmission back home to confirm the meeting, the other examines Indy, both visually from between cockpits, and by running a voice-print analysis on her voice through the comms she has sent. Satisfied that they have met the right person, the fighters fall into formation on either side of the larger craft, and beam over a series of co-ordinates for a random and untraceable set of hyperspace jumps that will take them back to Bothawui.

"Any deviation from the flightpath described, or sending of transmissions of any kind will result in forfeiture of this alliance and our trust," one of the pilots states over the short-range encrypted comm in a rather bored voice, reciting a standard compliance-check to their charge. "Engage hyperdrive on my mark...

"Mark!"

The three ships zoom off into hyperspace.

In the darkness we may lurk,

Ever eager for dirty work,

Try to find us if you dare,

But danger lurks, be warned, beware!

The Director of CORE sits patiently in a padded, throne like chair in what appears to be a large mediatation room. Sitting next to him in a smaller chair is another agent with a red CORE uniform, though his eyes carry a faint blue glow, flickering as he manipulates a console. Behind the director looms the towering form of CORE Omega, keeping a watchful eye over his master. The chamber aboard Rinwald's ship, the Oberon is a spherical dome, lined with unique crystals and various diodes and wires, focused on some central machine.

"Increase the amplification," Rinwald orders, focusing on the machine.

Next to him, Sub-Commander Psi nods, increasing the machine's output. An agonized scream is heard, a murmuring babble rising above the hum of the electric device in the chamber's center.

"Wring him for coherency," the director orders again. "We need answers."

As another shriek enters into the chamber, a door opens and the pale form of CORE Beta steps in, gloating with a hidious smirk on his flacid face.

"Report," Dahlmiester commands, still intent and focused on Psi's operation.

"We have the Emperor's DNA, sir," Beta chortles. "Zero came through this time."

Even Psi breaks off from his work. A frightful moan is heard from the far side of the room.

"Can we intergrate it?" Dahlmiester asks intently, his grey eyes piercing and with a dangerous, determined light, almost gleaming behind his silvery mask.

"Yes. We are working on replicating it as we speak. Even Omega there might be able to profit from an infusion," Beta's tone attempts at professionalism, but he scientist's hiccuping chuckles still break through. "We've done it, haven't we?"

A chill, vile, and deep laugh reveberates through the room. "Oh, Beta, we have done it... Yes we have indeed." Standing up, Rinwald turns to Psi. "Wring the answers we need out of the Seer and report directly to me with what you find. I need to attend to this."

"Understood, sir," Psi salutes, then turns viciously back to the controls, hitting a small black button and sending out another raised stream of babble.

A disfigured alien head sits in the middle of the machine. Wires run out of its eyesockets, ears, and from its exposed brain, channeling a flowing blue pulse. The smell of glitterstem- spice- permiates the area at the heart of the machine. Dahlmiester learned the secret of the "energy spiders" beneath Kessel and during his stay at the Maw, extracted a few, feeding them with agents and prisoners who no longer served any use. The being's body horrific- a bloated, putrid, and scaly mass, supported by unstabled steroids and machines laced inside and out with cybernetic components. This body, a horrific creation of Beta was designed not to keep the Seer alive- for no, Omicrons machines could do that- but rather to increase the blood flow and midi-chloriens active in the creatures body. Fluxed with a constant stream of precognative commands from the force sensitve Psi's machine, the Seer could see very far, but directing it where to look and getting a clear picture of what was run through the being's brain took work. Twisted and tortured, the agony and suffering distended the coherency of any visions.

Another loud babbling shriek echoes in the room, gaining Dahlmiester's attention as he follows Beta out. Dispassionately, he eyes the Seer, then turns to Psi before exiting.

"Keep pushing him for answers. If he dies, we can always operate on his younger sister."

Stepping out into the hall, the doors close behind Dahlmiester as another scream, a wet tearing sound breaking off into a vibrating wail like nails on a chalkboard, bursts from the Seer's room. Smirking with his curled lips, the Director's thoughts turn to the potential of the younger sister of their current subject- a lovely young thing with luminous, desperate green eyes.

It would truly be fun to watch Beta at work this time.

Through the ascent, Orrick familiarized himself with the controls of Leo's Starsword. The ship was unique- elegant but brimming with power. It was not difficult to fly, however, as the controls were strikingly reminiscent of a certain Chiss Clawcraft that Orrick had once piloted with expert precision.

Looking back through the ports, Naboo was nothing now but a small green and blue swirling orb. And good riddance. To Orrick, Naboo had become a foreign and uncomfortable place. The spoils of war had interrupted its quiet and peaceful nature. He turned to his companions.

"So then... to the Dojo?"

The Requiem flew through hyperspace towards it's target: the jedi dojo. Delita walked through the hall with his sckematics and smiled.

memories can be damaged without said memory being a part of your life

Delita walked into his room. In the corner were spare parts to random items: metal, weapons, papers and other assorted items. Delita began constructing simple prototypes leaving a space in which a crystal may be stored. he studied how each piece had an importance. and once completed with his prototypes, he tore them back apart to see if he could remember how to do it without the sckematics. nonce doing this for about 13 times, the alarms claimed they were reaching Ilum. Delita ran over to his controls and began approaching the planet...

Leo stared into the face of his young son. He had never been able to hold onto his son for this long. It was as if they had never met before this moment. And he would never let his son go again.

"I think the Dojo is a good idea. Lots of protection there. Can';t cause too much trouble on that planet eh, Orrick."

Leo turned and walked into the back of the Starsword and sat on his bed. He still loved Mara and did not ever know if he would be able to let go of that.

Nom reveled in the silence of space. This kind of relaxation came sparingly since he became a Jedi. He hardly took notice in the actions of the other passengers of the ship. A sudden clash of metal brought him back to reality.

The noise reminded him of another task for his padawans. Motioning for Yue to follow, Nom headed in the directoin of the sound he just heard. Finding the source of the commotion, Nom quickly began briefing his two padawan's on their current task.

"It seems Delita had already started this, but you two need to search this ship and find pieces of metal that would make up the handle of your lightsabers. I have the necessary components for its construction in the box right here."

The Jedi Knight pulled a small box out of the inside pocket of his robes.

"This box holds two lenses, two emitter matrices, power cells and every else you need to construct a working lightsaber. But the problem is, Delita broke your vibroswords. So unless Delita has some extra weapons on board his ship, you'll have to go unarmed."

After Nom finished talking he gazed out of the window at he ice sphere known as Ilum.

Delita instantly kicked the foot of his bed, and a compartment opened up with many more weapons hidden in them.

"I have plenty of junk around my ship to use for parts. So, Yue, Since i already got the parts gathered, and Nom will offer us some more pieces, You ready to start? ... well we'll have to wait 'till we land anyways, we're about in view."

Delita turned his ship and prepared to land.

The Rebel fleet emerged at a specific hyperspace point and all checked for tracking devices, thorough searches didn't reveal any devices, but precautions were taken out all the same that would neutralise any device that had been placed.

On the Freedom's Reprieve Kira turned to Ara & Tares.

"I apologise for the swift withdrawl, I don't know about you two but I couldn't deal with being so close to all the deaths below or how I kept losing more and more people to the enemy."

Kira turned back away from them to face out the view port. She felt like an utter failure. Nothing had gone right from the very start of this battle... not with infighting... all those losses of life, both civillian and military. She should step down, only who would take her place?

Ara paced over to Kirana and patted her gently on the shoulder.

"Nothing ever goes exactly according to plan. In war, loss of life is always a risk--a risk those soldiers were willing to take. They fought for what they believed in," she said softly. "It wasn't your fault. You must know that, truly." Ara looked out the view port along with the Admiral. "Death is hard on all of us, Force users or not, but to blame someone who is not responsible...it isn't right. The enemy had weapons and fighters that we didn't know about. We did what we could."

Ara looked back at Kirana. "The question you have to ask yourself is...where do you--all of us--go from here?"

Kira was grateful for Ara's support although she still took a few deep breaths before speaking again.

"Oh I know it was all my fault and that no one else is to blame, I was the one who sent them in there. I knew the risks and still sent them... to their deaths as it turned out. I know war is never easy and that deaths are to be expected, civillian, military as well as the enemy. It just seems now, in the cold light of day, that it was a pointless battle. I should have had better intel on it but every report I had told me the Empire only had a small presence there, that the rest had withdrawn. How could I have been so wrong?"

"As much as we'd like to, we can't read minds, Kirana, especially ones like the Empire's. I don't think we'd want to read their minds, with all the horrible things they've done," Ara said quietly. She paused to look back out the port.

"You couldn't have known that the Empire had the extra troops. Your intel said they didn't, and it was reliable. Unless you literally went and beat the truth out of an Imperial, you wouldn't get any better information. Given that intel, I would have done exactly the same as you--any leader would have."

Ara turned to face Kirana and placed a hand on her shoulder, making the Admiral look at her. "It did accomplish something. We showed the Empire that we are not something to be trifled with. We can still fight. The next battle will just have to wait for another day." She looked seriously into Kirana's eyes. "We have to be strong. Those who did lose their lives would not want us to give up on what they fought for. They believed in you, and still do, wherever they are. I know I still have faith in you."
