The sole human passenger of a Corellian Corvette slept throughout his journey aboard the spacious vessel. The ship sped onwards towards the Jedi space station. On the way off of Yavin IV it had picked up information about the planet with its advanced sensor suite. Its long journey was interrupted with random stops to mislead any followers.

Entering hyperspace, Alora set a course for Bespin. She would find what she needed there, purchase the goods to Barton's Resort account and have some of the items packed into the hold while the rest would be delivered to Byss.

As the Lenra entred space, the silence over came the two of them. Quietness filled the ship, as it floated throught the make up of space. Kautra decided that now would be a good time to begin further training.

He set the ship on auto pilot and motioned for Darth Pick to follow him to the back of the ship. When his apprentice joined him in the holding area of the ship, Kuatra pulled out the training remote, and a visor, and set them down on the table that was on the side of the ship. The ship seemed crowded, he was going to need a bigger one, maybe that is where they will head first, to get him a new ship.

But that would have to wait.

"Sit down young one, were going to work on your meditation. You need to learn to controll your emotions, and not them controll you. When you get upset, you lose controll, and that will some day be devistating."

Kautra motioned for the young one to sit down on the pad that he had just laid out.

"Get into a comfortable postition, you might be here for a little."

As his apprentice sat down, Kautra sat down with him.

"close your eyes" he said "and try to clear your mind of everything. Forgett all your problems, and issues. They do not matter now." Kautra could feel his apprentice slowly start to relax. As his apprentice began to meditate, Kautra looked into his mind. His mind was very chaotic and distressed, his past had been very difficult. So much had happened to him him in his life.

Kautra tapped deeper into the young ones mind. Finding his fears hidden in there. He had done a decient job of keeping them from being shown, he hid them deep inhis mind. Now knowing his apprentices fears, Kautra would be able to train him better.

Kautra pulled his mind out of his apprentices as he continued with his lesson.

"Once your mind is empty, open it up, and reach out with it. You should be able to feel the walls around you, you shoud know your surroundings, everything around you is timming with the force, you can feel it move through you as your mind reaches out and touches it."

Kautra began to reach his mind out and feel hs own surroundings, he could still feel his apprentices chaotic presence, ,he knew that darth Pick had potentioal of beng a great Jedi.

((Okay, I want you to make a descriptive post, working off of what I have posted, I want you to expand on it, your slowly letting you mind to reach out. So you should be very descriptive here...Im talking like, freaking, insainly descriptive))

Indy and Sarrah had just boarded the Imperial star destroyer when it jumped into hyperspace. Indy looked over at the Togorian. "Ok...that wasn't part of the plan. We can't take off while the ship is in hyperspace, and therefore, we can't do any sabotage until we come out."

Knowing that their presence could not go undetected for long, the Death Strikers quickly took action. A little lock picking found several camoflauge nets, and a scouring of the hanger bay found plenty of scrap metal. The two quickly covered their ships, using both the nets and the scraps to make them blend in with the hanger. Indy activated her scanner jamming device, which would prevent the Imps from detecting their ships with internal scans. Then, they holed out in the Freedom's Reprise.

It was frustrating, to say the least. There was nothing they could be doing to help the Alliance. Coruscant's fate was unknown to them, and they couldn't inform anyone of what had happened because if they broke comm silence, they'd be detected. They couldn't impersonate Imperial officers or stormtroopers, and spending time in a detention cell didn't seem like it was going to help anything.

But almost the worst part was not being able to leave the ship. To Indy, her ship was her home, but even this much time cooped up left her dying for a change of scenery. But a Togorian and a Codru-Ji would stick out like a Wookiee in a crowd of Jawas among the human-only Imperial crew. So they stayed on the YT-2400 and tried not to get in each other's fur.

It was the end of the 15th day when the constant whine of the engines changed into a low drone. Both Death Stiker's nerves were as thin as tissue paper, and they were extremely relieved that the ship had finally reached it's destination.

"Must of gone halfway across the galaxy," Indy grumbled to herself. But she couldn't stay in bad spirits--there was much that had to be done, and quickly. She sent Sarrah over to his own ship, and quickly started warming up the freighter. A few minutes later she was ready to fly...and it wasn't a moment too soon. Just then, a squad of troopers rushed into the bay and saw the ships. They paused to recieve clarification that these ships did not belong to a visiting warlord, then opened fire.

"Sarrah! Let's get out of here!" Indy yelled over the ship-to-ship comm. "Head back to the base!!"

Her ship blasted off, followed by Sarrah's. A few calculations to get their location and the coordinates from the nav computer later, the two ships disappeared into hyperspace, headed back to Aaris III.

Once the ship entered the realm of space and flew away from Helix, Isham made the calculations and jumped to lightspeed. Destination: Outer Rim. He brought up information about his destination on the console and studied it, noting the sparse population. Mostly moisture farms, the population was concentrated around the spaceports such as Mos Eisley and Mos Espa. The planet is controlled by the Hutt clan and still has slavery on it.

The console beeped. Isham looked up to find he was at his destination. He put the research aside and prepped to leave hyperspace.

So as Darth Pick was sitting there with Katura he cleared his mind. The first memory that came to his mind was when his brother Timmy were playing hide and seek on his home planet Ord Cestus.

So while they were playing Darth Pick topld his brother to go hide. So he did as his big brother said and ran off.

So Darth Pick went in search of his brother and he noticed some of his brothers footsteps.

"Stupid, what have I told you about covering up your foot steps."

So as Darth Pick was following his little brothers footsteps he noticed some marks in the sand where it looked like his brother or someone had fallen. So he continued on the treck in search of his brother and he noticed some more of his brothers footsteps then they turned in to some little holes that lead to a cave.

So Darth Pick went into the cave and near the entrance he saw his brothers flare that he had lit and obviously had dropped it before he got too far into the cave but Darth Pick had decided to pick it up.

So as Darth Pick held up the flare he saw his brother getting the life sucked right out of him by one of the cave spiders. The spider had finished his brother off Darth Pick noticed that the spider had seen him and it had lunged at Darth Pick.

So as a reaction Darth Pick threw the flare at the spider but missed. So when the spider was mere feet away when Darth Pick had dropped to his feet. But the spider never landed on him after about a minute of shaking Darth Pick looked up and the spider was on the ground turned blue from suffocation.

So Darth Pick ran home to his father and told him what had happened. His father threw him against he ground and yelled at him why he hadn't watched his brother. So Darth Picks' father raised his hand and as his hand hit Darth Pick he snapped out of the meditation he hit the back of Katuras' ship and then blacked out.

Armiena's borrowed Delta-7 starfighter plunged through hyperspace like a cosmic arrowhead.

Inside the tiny snubfighter, the Jedi Master was slightly less than thrilled at her choice of transportation. On board her personal freighters, she could tend to her many projects and finish complicated calculations and blueprints until her eyes were ready to bug out, or at least chat with her astromech droid. On this tiny ship, she didn't even know the astromech that was permanently embedded into the "wing", and she didn't even bring her datapad with.

All there was for her to do was listen to a collection of decidedly angry music. Armiena had no idea who had uploaded it into the craft's computer. However, one song caught her attention.

I am IRON MAN!!!

Within minutes, she was banging her head to the sound of the guitar solo.

Cal Regium and Sahv Yorr boarded the Myddrin and left Helix Station for an unknown location...

On board, the two Jedi put away their things, and prepared for a training session.

"Cal, you are reasonably fluent in forms I and II of lightsaber combat, and have some knowledge of form III. These are the 'gateway forms,' in a sense. From these, you can move to the others. From form I, we learn the essentials of stance, target zones, and basic parry maneuvers. From II, if you remember, challenged the user to be more reserved, and thus more precise in his blade movements."

Sahv ignited his lightsaber, the blue blade warming the overall color of the room...

"Form III provides defensive options. In a galaxy full of blasters, this is essential. Not all of our enemies use lightsabers"

Sahv offered a concerning look, remembering the Jedi he'd seen on Coruscant killed by blaster fire.

"Here, and ... here..." Sahv positioned his blade in the two prominent defensive postures. "These are the most popular placements for deflecting a blaster shot. Flicking the blade like so... allows a semi-controlled deflection."

Repeating the blade's movement from each position, Sahv motioned for Cal to join him.

"Furthermore, a lightsaber blade may be bounced off of your own blade if you move the wrist outward... this is best used if you know a light blow is coming... and best taken advantage of if you use the moment of chaos caused by the deflection to return a striking blow at the opposite target zone."

With his green lightsaber ignited, Cal stood next to Sahv and tried to mimick his master's motions. First he positioned his saber as Sahv had did in a defensive position, then he moved and flicked his wrist as if to deflect a blaster bolt.

Cal was beginning to become comfortable with his Jedi weapon. Sahv was right, Forms I and II were the foundations for the other Forms, and Form III felt like an extension of the previously learned styles.

As the two Jedi, master and padawan, moved in sync with one another Cal asked, "Master, where are we going now? Are we continuing our quest for the relic?"

The flight back to Ord Mantell was uneventful, Mira letting the droid "Matey" pilot the freighter while she exercised. The girl kept herself trim and fit, running through a set of strenuous exercises, push ups, sit ups, heaves, lunges. A punching bag was set up in one of the holds where she now continued her work out. She had been taught by her parents in unarmed combat as well as trained in a variety of weaponry. She had a simulator in the hold too, one that she used to exercise her mind with strategy as well as her body physically.

Mira was dripping with perspiration when she finished, heading through to her refresher to clean up and get changed into fresh clothing before she arrived home. She had a few hours yet till they got to their destination so she had a camp, resting during that time. She was awake again and back in the cockpit just before they came out of hyperspace on their last run. There was a Casino in Orbit now, which hadn't been there when she'd left on her last run. Shrugging, Mira took her ship, Jade's Run in to land after having been given clearance.

She reported to her parents, getting a pat on the back and a good pay out for the work she had done. Mira got on well with her folks. The old man was proud of her, having already received a glowing report from the other contact on Tatooine. She was granted freedom of any mission she wanted to go on, Mira grinning as she said she'd scope out the galaxy and see what she could come up with. Mostly she'd been to places like Tatooine, Iridonia, even Nal Hutta, though she hadn't been too keen on the smell of that place. It had taken ages for her to get rid of the stench of the Hutt's world.

After the first hyperspace jump Darla shut down the ships engines or a few minutes. There was something she needed to do.

She searched out the grisly 'gift' that Dagon had sent her and loaded it into one of the frieghter's airlocks. She was glad to be getting rid of the sick reminder that Fynn had been killed because of her. Letting go of a lot of pain she watched the metal cylinder as it was ejected into space.

It was my fault...But now I'm going to put things right. I'm coming Fynn, just hold out a little longer.

Feelng much more at ease and with a renewed sense of purpose Darla ativated the ship's hyperdrive and continued the series of jumps that she had programmed. The final jump bringing her to the co-ordinates where she would ronde vous with Skye.

With the ship on it's way to where ever, Niv became antsy. Each second that passed meant they were that much closer to bringing Fynn back. The thought brought a gentle smile to her face as she rummaged for and finally found a training remote. Emotion fell from her face for a moment as she eyed the contraption.

She then closed her eyes, dove into the secret vault of her mind and swiflty sorted through information stored there. She released any pertinent knowledge regarding lightsaber combat forms, specifically knowledge that dealt with defence and deflection skills.

"Soresu." she whispered, voice eerily calm."Thank you Sephan."

Her eyes opened once again and she switched on the remote. Niv unhooked her saber, ignited it. The sound of it hissing to life was music to her ears. She backed away from her small, hovering training partner. Eyed it as if it were her mortal enemy.

Without warning, the remote circled and fired. Nivana missed all of the first five shots. Took two to the knee, one to the hip, one to her right rear cheek, and finally one to her upper arm. The bolts were faster and hurt far more than she had anticipated. She had underestimated her little spherical enemy. Had it been a real foe, Niv would have been dead already due to underestimation.

"That's it." she said with serene determination. "No more Miss Nice Guy."

Nivana swiped a few strands of hair out of her face and then thrust the entirety of her trust into the Force. Darla's words came back..don't trust your eyes they can decieve you.

She closed her eyes and let the Force flow like a refreshing brook through her arid frame. It fluidly guided her motions and the golden lightsaber blade met the remote's fire with near expert ease. Defending 'blind' against the little attacker became easier with each passing minute. Her saber blade became a gold blur of motion that encapsulated the ferociously training woman.

Before she knew it the ship was dropping out of hyperspace. Nivana Force pulled the remote to herself and switched it off. She gave a few showy swings of her weapon before she deactivated and hooked it back to her belt. After a couple of reassuring pats to Fynn's saber, Niv left the cargohold to freshen up a bit.

kautra was in the middle of his meditation, when he heard a soft clunck against the wall of his ship. He slowly opened his eyes, knowing what had happened, it tends to happen quite often withthe young ones. They tend to be overwhelmed by the expancivness of thier mind, they are not used to it.

Kautra stood up, and looked down at his unconscience youngling. he grabbed a cup of water, and tossed it on the face of his apprentice. His first attempt at waking the young one up had failed, and so he tried it again. This time with more convient results. Darth sat up, and quickly looked around the ship.

"Are you alright?" Kautra asked silently, but before the young one could answer, he cut him off.

"Get back into a more comfortable postition, and try to clear evey thing from your mind again. This time, slowly reach out and touch the ship with your mind." Kautra sat back down in front of his apprentice, and held him up with the force, he did not want to have to slow this lesson down again, he had other things to get done, and so little time.

He reached into the young ones mind, and helped clear every thing out od it, making sure the young one was on the right path.

((Okay were going to try that again, try to stay on topic, your here, now, and in my ship. Meditate, and reach out with your mind, tell me what you feel in your mind, and dont just be genaric, do some research on my ship, find out whats in it, and the devices that would be working. there are some thingsthat every ship has, and use them in your next post. And remember descriptive is key.))

Sahv bounced his saber against Cal's, mimicking the physics of blaster shots and hastily-executed sword jabs. "Always keep a tight grip on the hilt, especially in these next schools of lightsaber combat, which have more to do with strength and agility than precision and wit."

Sahv responded to Cal's inquiry...

"We are currently on standby, but, esentially yes, we are still searching for our relic." Sahv unlit his weapon. "The balance that once characterized the Force's role in the galaxy is shifting -- perhaps against us. I was once the son of a wealthy industrialist, and knew nothing of such things. When I joined the Jedi, my eyes and senses became -- attuned -- to the Force. You will also come to understand this in time."

Sahv sat down at a table, and activated the computer terminal there. Accessing a few files from a data chip he had imput, he brought up a map of the galaxy.

"These --" the Jedi pointed toward areas shaded in red... "were the territories under the control of the Alliance ten years ago. We are essentially a part of that movement." Sahv pushed a button to alter the landscape of the map...

"This is the galaxy now. As you can see, the influence of the Alliance has spread, in large part due to the work of the Jedi and their allies."

"But... do not let this decieve you. The dark side does not follow with the trends and status of governments. The situation is far worse on that front, i'm afraid. Indeed, the Sith have much influence which cannot be measured fully by charts and graphs."

Sahv stood up once more...

"Now, let us prepare for when we meet this challenge."

Cal re-ignited his blade. He was eager to continue his training. He felt like it had been a life time ago that he had decided to pursue the Jedi arts. The natural impatience of a padawan filled Cal.

"I take it we are to resume our training in Form III." Cal said as he assumed the proper stance. "How about we continue with that excercise we had started just before the break. The one where you were simulating the blaster fire. I felt like I was really starting to achieve something."

Cal allowed the Force to flow through him. It took a great deal of concentration to focus on the Force while thinking about the physical aspects of lightsaber training, but Cal knew it was a step that he needed to take. He could tell that his master's superiorty over him existed in this fact, and the only way he would ever become a Knight would be to harness the power of the Force while at the same time moving his blade as an extension of himself.

He readied himself in the traditional stance of Form III while stretching out with his feelings. He waited for his master's attack...

"Certainly... this droid will create artificial blasterfire."

Sahv released from the palm of his hand a small object. It bounced up and extended silver arms. After detecting the lightsaber Cal was holding, it went to work, first emitting a sort of alarm indicating that it was about to begin fire.

"Don't worry, these aren't real shots, but they will sting a little, so be on your toes." Sahv knew that Cal hadn't seen the droid before, and that this would be a new experience for him. Nevertheless, he knew that the blaster simulator was the sure way to understanding the challenges posed by Form III, save getting into real combat, as well as the spontaneity that comes with it.

After several minutes, Sahv posed a question for Cal.

"When you are in the basic stance for this defensive school, do you feel confidant? Or do you feel secure in your ability to deflect blaster shots..."

Sahv held in his hand a blast shield visor, and knew that Cal's challenge laid yet ahead.

SahvYorrUnknown2.jpg

Cal found it to be fairly easy to deflect the shots by the droid. He flenched as one of the weak bolts got through his defense, but he wasn't having any real problem defending himself.

"Yeah, I feel pretty confident. This isn't too hard."

It was at that time that Cal noticed the helmet with the blast shield.

"You aren't suggesting, AHH," Cal yipped as a second bolt struck his leg, "that I do this with that thing on are you?"

Cal knew the answer to the question before he asked it. The only way his Force powers were going to gel with his lightsaber combat was to put himself in a situation where he had to rely on nothing but his Force awareness. Taking away his physical site would force Cal to use the Force in combat, and he knew that.

His master nodded and reached the helmet out to Cal. Cal disengaged his lightsaber, deactivating the droids attack in the process. "OK, but if I end up with welts all over my body from this it is going to be on your head," said Cal smiling and putting on the helmet.

He re-ignited his green blade and engaged the droid. The droid fired two rapid blasts but Cal missed them both. One struck him on the shoulder and the other on the leg. He immediately shut down his saber in frustration and said, "With the blast shield down I can't see anything. How am I supposed to fight?"

Cal was now experienced in the ways of the Force enough to know this answer as well, but he was still a doubtful padawan.

Darla had made the jump to lightspeed with making the proper calculations. She had quickly reversed the last jump and taking them back to their previous co-ordinates. It would take a few minutes for her to calculate a jump back to coruscant. Everything was clear in her head now, she knew what the force was trying to show her.

Nivana however would have no idea what was going on, so Darla went in search of her apprentice in so that she could explain her chaotic actions to her. By the time she reached her she was a little out of breath.

"It just came to me..." Darla paused to catch her breath. "That I was putting the Jedi in jepardy. This ship used to belong to Kakuto Ryu the Dark Lord of the Sith himself. I always thought that this battered old frieghter was just a hunk of junk that I was lucky enough to inherit...But lately I've been wondering if he left some kind of tracking device on here. It wouldn't have been hard to do. That means the Sith could have been tracking our whereabouts for months. That Station that I took you to, it's kind of a secret location. I had a horrible feeling that something bad was going to happen if we docked there."

Darla exhaled deeply and closed her eyes.

"It's kind of a gift or curse, depending on how you veiw it. The force lets me see things. Not a whole picture, but feelings, sensations, images, possiblities. Sometimes they came true, sometimes, they're already happening and sometimes they're things that I can change. I saw the station explode. I think it was the force trying to warn me in it's own way to think about what flying around in this ship means. I'm taking us back to Coruscant. We'll find Skye, sell this and maybe be able to by a sleek shuttle, something a little cosier. I'll headback to the cockpit, plot the course. Gather all your things up and be ready to leave once we land."

After patting Nivana on the shoulder and offering her a slightly shaky smile Darla left. It took several minutes to plot a safe course. She told Niv over the comm.

"We're ready to go."

Once again Darla's ship vanished as it shifted into hyperspace. It would be the last time that she would ever be it's pilot.

"Use the Force, Cal." Sahv's tone was serious, though to a naive onlooker, the scene may have been strange... a blind swordfighter expecting to hit on target...

"Search the space around you, and you will find all that you need. You can do it." Sahv said.

The Jedi watched as Cal attempted to deflect the first round of shots, with minimal success.

"Always keep your elbows in, so that they may serve the defensive posture more efficiently."

As Cal confronted the second volley, he met with much more success...

The Serenity slipped through the hyperspace channels on various random jumps on it's way to it's destination. Skye sent off a quick comm to Helix before they made the final jump to the station, telling the administrator to prepare for another hyperspace jump for the Station as soon as they docked with them.

Serenity left real space again for the white streaks of hyperspace once more for their final jump...

The Jade's Run surfed through hyperspace, it's pilot trying to decide where to head to next. Turning on the holonet, she saw the advertisment for the new resort at Byss. It sounded interesting and even though she had just been at a festival, she decided to contact them with the thoughts of 'you never can tell if they want something smuggled somewhere...'

She sent a message through to the Resort and waited for a reply before she'd decide if she headed there or somewhere else...

"Yes, very good. We will do more of these exercises in the future, to exact your ability to rely only the Force."

Sahv took Cal's blast visor and set it down on an adjacent table.

"So far we have looked at what I will call the 'gateway' schools of lightsaber combat. To be fully proficient in the fighting arts, you must have at least a basic understanding in each of the forms. Forms, I, II, and III are components of each of the rest: forms IV, V, VI, and VII. With form I, you learn the basic stances and offensive and defensivce movements. Through form II, you learned how to vary your intensity and precision, and form III teaches the defensive potential of the lightsaber. While these are complete forms in themselves, the others are extensions, composing of combinations or utilizing specific tactics."

Sahv stood up to stretch his legs and prepare for a demonstration.

"I myself am fluent in Form II, and can attest the the completeness of these first forms; the latter are merely variations and specialized strategies."

Darkness... Pain... Fire. A deep resonating voice pierced the errie darkness... Embrace the Dark Side of the Force, and it shall rebuild you. It shall cease the pain. Yesss. Embrace it or Die, Kyp Durron, once the Dark Lord of the Sith. It is your destiny. Kyp Durron rose to his knees and bowed before the spirit of Exar Kun.

Kyp snapped awake, his clouded vision slowly resolving itself into focus. It had been nearly a year since that fateful day on Yavin IV, where he visited Exar Kun's temple.

Around him, the familiar blue-white swirl of Hyperspace resolved itself into starlines as he cut the power to the Hyperdrive. He was had arrived...

He keyed the Bloodlust's comm to the frequency his instuctions indicated and waited.

The comm screen crackled to life as a red haired man appeared. His piercing green eyes seemed to glare right through the screen and into Kyp's very soul.

"You will go to Korriban. There you will recieve further instructions concerning your task."

Kyp regarded the figure before him on the screen, and then nodded.

"It shall be done..."

Kyp closed the comm, and charted his course. With the flip of a switch, the Corellian Corvetter streaked off into Hyperspace.
