Kayla nodded and concentrated on feeling the Force around her. It was considerably easier now than it had been the first time, she merely had to follow the directions and she'd be there, in that 'zone.'

She felt it immediately when she connected and then concentrated on feeling the Force flow through her... There...

Okay, now I need to get on the ship. She looked up to the point where she wanted to jump, concentrating on drawing strength from the Force ... feeling it flow through her ... she could feel its affects, she was confident she could do this... Okay maybe not... She pushed aside the fleeting thought and forced herself to concentrate... Okay ... three... two... one... liftoff.

She jumped, using the Force to aide her altitude and momentum. She made it up, landed, and slipped; falling flat on her face, but hey, at least she made it on top of the ship! She pushed herself up and looked down at Scorp. "How's that?"

Jasyn was thankful when Aryian's comm brought him out of the dream. He listened to it and frowned; sounds like he had to find another person to train him...

He pushed himself up off the ground and headed back towards the Jedi Temple; he needed to speak with Ara about finding a master.

(( I hope Scorp didn't do anything to me in my absense))

Darsha smiled to herself as she watched Scorp train his apprentice. Maybe it was time for her to train one. Still --- she wasn't the best of Jedi -- after all -- she seemed to always be taken advantage of. Well, but if Scorp could, maybe she could....

Yue cleared his throat and then spoke.

"The plan my former master is refearing to is this. My friend in training, the jedi who had excussed himself Delita and I have a very special bond. Our light sabers contained parts from my fathers allowing us as he said "to watch over each other." Unfourtenly when on Illum we ran into a Sith who bested us both. He also took Delita's light saber, when I head of this news an idea came to me. What if we used the bond that lies in each of our light sabers to find which base the Sith has returned to. This would allow us to locate the Sith and hopefully slow them down. As well as return a stolen light saber to its proper owners hands."

He looked around hoping for a response from anyone.

"I do not know if it is able to be done or not, but I am sure we could do it."

"You did not fail, Jurha. Jedi never fail. They learn and grow and overcome. Speak with the council and let them show you..." Talon told her. Was that Jedi arrogance? Or was it something masters told their padawans Jedi didn't waste their time lamenting defeat... Wouldn't that mourning its self be a weakness? Jurha slowly let out a breath she had been holding in her lungs.

Ara came close and spoke gently, "It's always hard to fail a mission, to have someone die on your watch. But you can't let it hold you back, or hit yourself for it afterwards. You did all you could, that I'm sure of."

Ara patted her kindly on the shoulder. "That's what counts--you tried, and you did what you could."

Jurha remembered her last memory of Azu, she was barely a teen...

"They're sending me back to my aunt," Jurha sobbed, "I want to stay with Daddy! They're-- They're sending me back because I couldn't kill that kath hound!!"

Azu kneeled down infront of Jurha and put her hands on her shoulders, "No, they're sending you away because you were too afraid to kill the kath hound. You didn't think you could do it, but you can Jurha--"

"I can't!" Jurha cried running to her tent.

Jurha sat in the dark corner by her self reflecting.

"Did I do all I could?" she asked her self softly.

No I didn't, she thought.

She laid her head back against the wall. No, I'm capable of so much more.

Dhan-Jaroe sent a comm to Ara while his apprentice was coping with the task at hand.

"Are you aware of Darkfire's statement on the Holonet? Is this the kind of people you reward with master status? People that support Terrorists that killed several jedi, including himself? Resisting the Dark Side is not a proper trial."

he turned the comm off and turned to Zane.

"I have something to deal with on Coruscant, get in my ship."

The two boarded the Rogue I and left Tempay.

Delita looked out of the window,

"i better train while i wait."

he stepped off the ship. Delita turned on three remotes, and aimed them towards himself.

"now i have to get used to Yue's pop's saber..."

The first remote fired. Delita ducked, rolled, and struck from below, singing a hole into the remote. The next remote fired 4 rapid-shot lazers. delita raised his saber and deflected the first one, bounced back the second one into a stone nearby the remote, the third one, he ducked and dodged, and the 4th one was sent directly back into the second remote. The third one didn't have a chance, Delita was already ontop of it, and he flipped the switch, turning it off.

"this makes me feel better" he smiled

As Jurha dissapeared into the room beyond, Talon was alone at long last. He sank to the floor and burried his face in his hands. The end of his palms massaged his temples. Being in a place of responsibility was consuming, and Talon hated it. It was all about support and aid. Comfort those with fear and calm those with anger and soothe those with confusion. In the end, the help was usually unwanted anyway. What were times coming to?

The exile was being tested, not in body but in spirit. He was no teacher, and he was smart enough to know it. Talon's mind wandered. What he had told Jurha was a flat lie. Jedi failed every day. They failed, and they lost, and they died every day. Jurha was smart enough to see through his 'wisdom', as were all Jedi with the slightest intuition. But truth was hard, and could only be administered when the time was right. All in all, it was not the failure that mattered, but the manner in which the failure is overcome. Would Jurha have understood. Talon doubted even he understood. After all, it had taken him many ticks of the chronometer before he had bested his own short comings. But was it right? Talon followed the example of his superiors, but was it all a hypocrisy? Talon lived for honor, but there was no honor in this.

Talon needed to get away from the serenity and calm of the temple. His mind was dwelling on things it shouldn't. He longed for the thrill of battle and adventure- where his mind was truly at ease.

*Kirlocca paused as Ara talked to jedi. He then decided to quickly walk up to her and hand her to datapad with all of the inner defense systems on it.*

"Here is the datapad with all of the inner defense systems on it Ara."

*The jedi master handed it to her and turned on his heels and left the room. He did not want to be where he shouldn't be. The jedi master quickly made his way back to his quaters, and from there, began to meditate on whatever the force would show him.*

Ara couldn't resist rolling her eyes at Dhan Jaroe's message. She had heard that, yes, but she also knew that he was under the influence of Geki at the time. Nothing could be done about that.

Some people...so arrogant for Jedi.

She looked down at the datapad Kirlocca had given her, switching through the different defense systems. Everything looked in good order. Hopefully it'd be enough to withstand a Sith or Imperial attack.

She looked back to Yue and nodded. "It sounds like it could work, but I'd be wary of the Sith. If they caught you, they could easily trace you back here if you're not careful. The last thing we need is an attack on this base as well."

OOC: And pardon my ooc, Zero, but really, shooting your apprentice? Yeah, THAT'S real Jedi-like, my friend.

A comm comes in for the Jedi from around Coruscant.

This is Keiran. I'm alive somehow even after that monster dropped a hospital on me. All those innocent people, dying for my sake is almost too much. I'm still wounded from that battle and the feelings of loss and death are almost too much to bear.

I have information that might be useful in stopping Faust and Geki's bid for the surpreme chancellor. The order and the Death Strikers are in great danger now.

I don't know where the new base is, so please help me.

Scorp made note of the comm as he watched his padawan sitting on the ship. HE was thinking it over. His first though would be to have JEdi sent to Kerian to watch over him as he recovered. And to prevent future attacks however that might all ready be in effect. therefore his second though was to use his SUPER DEDEUCTION SKILLS to feet out this base of geki however he didn't knwof A he had permission and B if his padawan was ready for such a high stakes mission if he did go. Well he could always try to use DArsha as a baby sitter however she would more likley than not burn a hole in his gut, clone him only to do it again. Well his first order of business would be to see if he could get permission. He didn't want to blunder into something after all. HE quickly sent a private message to Ara before turning back to his padawan as he waited for her to make up her mind.

((sheesh... busy day...))

Kayla nodded, "Yeah, I'm ready... I think."

She looked down, contemplating jumping off the ship. It was quite a drop, then again, she had gotten up there using the Force so why couldn't she get down the same way?

She took a second to gain her concentration, and her courage, and then jumped. It was quite a drop, she realized mid-air.

Using the Force slow her descent, she landed beside Scorp, actually managing to stay on her feet this time. She smiled, "What next?"

*Kirlocca sat in his room, letting his meditations take him wherever. BUt for some strange reason, his mind remained on Kashyyyk. Something drew him in. Something told him he must rediscover the planet.*

Why should, or must I rediscover anything. Kashyyyk is not importamt to the jedi...

*At that exact moment, a pictrue of his wife Sairi came to mind.*

No, but my family does need me. Sairi, Rashacco, and Rachenwaa.

*Kirlocca felt into the force, and could not begin to feel Both Rachenwaa and Rashacco through the force. They had devolped now. And very soon, they will be in need of both jedi, and their father.*

Scorp rasied an eyebrow. HE still hadn't recived his answer so he decided he would start the task.

"So far I have taught you ways to either futher yourself from something or bring your self closer to it using you imagination. Push can move things away. Mediatation can bring things into better clarity as well as move away unwanted feelings. Jump can help you reach a target faster or move away. You have learned to harness the Force as well as use it to boost your self. Now you will learn to move your body for a short period of time at a extremely fast rate. If you would please follow me."

Scorp escorted his Padawan outside. Then he spoted a hill that was not too far away. Taking a small cylinder object from his pocket he harnessed the force and took off for that hill. Then upon reaching the hill he forced blasted half a meter into the dirt and placed the cylinder object inside of the hole. Then he recovered it with dirt and left a small part of the tip sticking out. Then he returned to his padawan. All of this took a grand total of ten seconds.

"Ok here is your objective you must access the Force to move your self from here to that hill. Dig out your prize and return to this spot."

Scorp did some math in his head it had taken him 3 seconds to get there 4 seconds to dig and rebury and 3 seconds to get back. Given the fact that she was just starting...

"Ok you have 15 seconds to get there and back. I will be timing you if it takes you too long to get to the hill I will pull you all the way back here. While this may sound extreme I think you can do it you have shown remarkable talent in the force."

Scorp then took a step back.

" Remember There is no emotion; There is peace.

You may begin."

Jurha's forehead was resting against her knees when she heard a clicking of someone's steps entering the council chamber. Two amber beads of light shined in her direction.

"Mistress Jurha Kahn?" it inquired with a tilt of it's head. A protocol droid from the looks of its artificial body language.

"Yes?"

"There was a private recorded message for you we just recieved," the droid said holding out a hand held comm unit for Jurha. She stood up and took the unit from the droid.

"Um," Jurha didn't know the amber eyed droid's name, "Did any one else recieve this message?"

"I'm afraid that information is private in nature and can not be revealed," the droid explained.

"Oh," Jurha said. She was getting a bad feeling about all this secretcy (sp).

Jurha left the council chamber and walked through the hall for a little bit.

"Talon," Jurha addressed the Jedi she had spoken to earlier, "I was going to ask you to acompany me to Ilum while I rebuilt my lightsaber, but it seems something else came up. Would you like to go to Tammuz-an with me?"

Armiena's Avenging Angel appears out of hyperspace.

Much R5-D9's relief, Armiena faced little weather resistance. The Jedi Knight's attention seemed elsewhere, and the droid's circuits were already somewhat frayed by the landing on Ilum. With almost no effort, Armiena landed in the Jedi Base's hangar. She appeared from the Mon Calamari freighter a few minutes later.

During Armiena's extremely brief stay on Tempay when she had been... cloned, she never had the chance to explore the base and the planet. Hopefully, she would have the chance to do so now.

Nom leaned against the wall right outside the council chambers as he waited for Yue to finish speaking with Ara. The Jedi Knight still wasn't sure if he wanted to go with Yue on his mission to get Delita's lightsaber back. It what something Delita and Yue had to do on their own.

After a while, Nom felt a slight vibration in the pocket of his robes. His comlink was going crazy. Taking the hint, Nom slipped away and headed towards a vacant room.

The message was short and to the point. Which was something Nom was greatful for. After the comm came to an end, Nom headed for the hangar, hopped in an unused Jedi Starfighter and left Tempay.

((My apologies for the lack of clarification/notification- this alias is in fact a pose and not a replacement. Chrissie knows exactly who this is. A few other shrewd guesses may give you an OOC hint as to what is going on here.

This character insofar as anybody one knows IC with a few exceptions (one of those being Keiran himself should he return early, which could make this very interesting), is Jedi Master Keiran Valoria, believed dead, possibly revived or surviving after the attack on the hospital- the name change intended to cut down on problems of OOC/IC knowledge use.

This particular guise is not foolproof (even if it is a full genetic copy) and while it has been established IC over a period of a couple weeks, is subject to being dealt with on an IC level- though complications and other matters can make this a bit more of a challenge. On that note, let the RP resume.))

Another transmission is sent out, asking for help, more urgent this time.

"Talon," Jurha addressed the Jedi she had spoken to earlier, "I was going to ask you to acompany me to Ilum while I rebuilt my lightsaber, but it seems something else came up. Would you like to go to Tammuz-an with me?"

Tammuz-an? What in the Force's name was on Tammuz-an? Talon had set foot on many worlds, but Tammuz-an was one that apparently eluded him. The exile could not deny the opportunity was enticing...

Jurha had stopped and was looking down on him in his meditative position. Noticing that its follower had paused, the protocol droid that had been leading Jurha had stopped as well. From the sound it was making rocking back and forth, Talon could almost surmise it was getting impatient. Without even opening his eyes or moving his head, he asked a question of his own.

"There is much about me that remains a mystery to you, and yet you so willingly ask for my assistance. Either you seek company for a lonely voyage, or you anticipate trouble and need an ally." A wry grin came to Talon's face. His eyes flickered open, and he returned the look upward. There was a glint in his eyes that had previously been unnoticed. "Either way, are you sure you can trust those whose intentions are unclear?"

Ara shook her head, trying to clear her mind.

"Sorry, Yue, I'm...a bit distracted. Forgive me." She gave a slight nod. "It would be fine to do, just do what I asked before: take care in your actions. And be patient for helpers. I'm sure I'm not the only one distracted."

Reentering the council chambers, she sat down with a sigh. Between Kenobi and Aryian...

"Either way, are you sure you can trust those whose intentions are unclear?"

Jurha thought for a momment, "I don't think you even have intentions... yet... And if you do they are ones I do not care about. In either case I need someone to come with me, someone with experince, something I am duely lacking," Jurha said with a grin.

Jurha watched Ara enter the council chambers. She seemed a little lonely. She turned back to Talon.

"How 'bout you hold that thought or start getting ready, I gotta do something first."

Jurha reentered the council chamber. She sat down beside Ara, turning her whole body so that she was facing the Jedi leader, and placed a hand on top of her's.

"Is there anything you need me to do for you, Miss Ara?" Jurha asked concerned.

((I thought I did give you your answer... Maybe I didn't, but I thought for sure I did... Oh well. ))

Kayla blinked and looked from Scorp to the hill and back, he sure was quick... She could never -- uh, he wanted her to do that? In 15 seconds she gulped and tried to protest but he didn't notice.

"You may begin."

She was off fast; she'd always been quick on her feet but now she was trying to draw strength and speed from the Force. How well it worked, she didn't know, but she did seem to be moving faster than normal.

Reaching the hill she dropped to her knees and dug at the dirt. After what seemed like forever, she finally found the cylinder and gripped it tightly in her right hand.

And then she was off... Some might think that running down a hill would be easy and give you speed but, while the latter may be true, it definatly wasn't easy. Once she felt herself almost lose her balance but, with a little help from her newfound force skills, she managed to keep from falling ... barely.

After what seemed an eon, she made it back to Scorp and held the cylinder out for him to take. It took her a moment to catch her breath enough to speak; maybe she was relying too much on herself there... "Here...it is..." She gasped, "How long...did I...take?"

She bent forward and put her hands on her knees, yes, definatly relying a bit too much on human power... "Nice try..." It was the first time she'd heard either of the voices since the ... incident. Could they really be the ghosts of her parents? Could that be why they never came back?

((BTW, I hope I'm not making Kayla too good/perfect. I don't want her to seem fake or anything, but she does access the force easily. If you think I'm going to fast I can throw some roadblocks in her way or something...))
