Haruun Kal

She made her way through the temple, ignoring everyone as she did. Making small talk with ramdom Jedi was not on her to do list.

Rajah turned a corner. As she did a warm smile spread across her face. She'd found archives. Perfect. She'd find what she needed within. And if she didn't find exactly what she was looking for she'd be sure to find scads of other useful information.

Psyche frowned. Her first impulse was to say neither, but that wouldn't really get her anywhere. Baking inside of her own skin while doing things that would probably already be hot to begin with sounded the worst. Freezing, on the other hand sounded equally unpleasant. Either way, Master Scorp wanted her to get some real world experiance, in contrast to the training she had been having inside a secure environment.

"I would rather freeze." She winced, imagining the consequences of her choice. "So, where are we going exactly?"

Talon had not been gone for more than an hour or so before Cal awoke. He rose his sleepy head off of his pillow and peered out of a window to view the rising sun. Light was dancing across the tree tops as the sun inched its way higher into the sky.

Cal sat up with a yawn and tossed his feet over the bed. His heart beat a little bit faster today. He was excited about his training with Talon, I wonder what type of stuff he will have me doing today?

Just as Cal thought this the door to his room slid open and a short domed creature moved through the opening. It made a few noises that Cal could not understand as it moved in front of him.

"What are you doing little fella? Sure you got the right room?" asked Cal.

The droid beeped again, and without further explanation began playing the message. A blue projection was emitted from the droid's metallic body, and instantly a minature Talon appeared in front of Cal.

”œI must apologize, but I have to leave for a while. Something important has come up, and I must embark on a mission that you are not ready to accompany me on. If all goes well, I will be back within the week. Until I return, work out without using the Force. A healthy mind requires a healthy body. We will resume regular training when I get back.”

::Amon momentarily furrowed his eyebrows in concentration, kneeling and putting his hand on the ground. Life was here, even on the stone plateau, and he could call on it to aid him. Lizards and insects scuttled towards the rocks, pushing and rolling them around. Plants sprouted up through the cracks in the stonework, raising rocks into the air. Spiders crawled across the surface of the mock temple and bound it together with webbing.::

Is this satisfactory?

Something was admist, what with being turned away from attention as quickly as the prospect of training underwent for his brother. Left in the foreground, yet not entirely in despair, the young lad decided to take this time to idlely take in these new surrondings he would know so deeply. The long, flowing silk uniform he worn wafted back in the easy breeze outside the magnificant structure before him. Trailing along the scattered parks and training grounds that laced the outer rim, Krishna made way towards the inside, jogging up the steps as he did so before formally entering.

Fascinating... Who'd have thought something as wide and expansive as this to be on the most foreign of planets? Atleast, to my recollection...

Tossing back his hair with comfortable ease, wildly taking notice of every passerby, even every artifact that surronded him to the finest detail. Spending about an hour and only seeing a fraction of what the large building with held, Krishna easily became bored. The muscle bound young man needed a place to stretch and roam free within these confines, stretching his wide arms back behind his head with a bored expression.

"Man, what should I even do?-- Better yet, I wonder what Amon is doing now,"

With a heavy sigh, he laid against one of the benchs, taking up most of it with his wide stance. Holding back the feeling to collapse asleep momentarily, it wasn't long before it came too much for him to handle, leaning his neck all the way back and dozing off...

She'd rummaged through endless files. After downloading a bit of info onto a datapad Rajah left. She'd spent a good several hours sifting meticulously through data and hadn't managed to find that which she needed to know.

She half heartedly re-read the info she'd catalogued as she moved through the halls. She was about to turn a corner when she happened to glance further down the way. She spied a familiar creature. He seemed to be dozing. Rajah watched him momentarily then turned and continued on her original path. Only a few steps were taken around the corner before she halted.

She slipped the datapad into her coat pocket. Rajah turned and moved back to the main hall. She peeked around the corner. The creature that had caught her attention was still there. With the gait of a predator she rounded the corner and stalked towards the sleeping Krishna.

She watched him for a few seconds before muttering, "He finally tired himself out. How adorable." Her hand carefully neared his face. She gently tickled under his chin in a lighthearted attempt to wake him.

In midst of the wholesome dream, the young lad's body nearly tipped the bench as more of his weight began to lean upon his back. Even while sleeping, the strength that was normally concealed had become dangerous, even if to himself. Just as it began to teer in the opposite direction, front legs uplifted an inch above the ground, Krishna felt a small, yet noticeable sensation upon his face.

Awakening quickly in astonishment, his first instinct was to raise his hand back to strike the spot which had been aggrivated. Rather unconsciously, the confused lad had slapped himself full on square in the face, causing the already uplifted bench to fall back by the sheer force of the blow. Rolling back a few feet, legs behind his head, Krishna scrambled to his feet, one arm drawn forward as if to block, while the other clasped around his now fairly brused and red nose.

"Wha' the...? Ack, geez, my nose!" The delayed impulse of pain struck swiftly , causing his eyes to wince before dazzling open soon afterwards. The first image he saw was that of Rajah nearest him, automatically twisting his drawn hand to point directly at her.

"You, there. Uhh, Rajak, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah. You didn't happen to see who it was that hit me while I was sleeping, did ya? I bet it was those no good punks earlier..."

His eyes shifted around his position hastefully, almost scowering for the younger pair of Jedi who peered at him akwardly, only due to the nature of his outfit and appearance that was so well kept and foreign to their eyes.

A small half grin curled at the corner of Rajah's lips. She couldn't help it. She'd expected him to swat at her... not at himself.

"Relax." she said, attempting to conceal the humor in her voice. "It's okay now. Oh, by the way, I happened to see the punk who hit you."

She looked down at her jacket and adjusted the collar before glancing back at Krishna.

"But perhaps you'd rather hear it from Rajak." She glanced up and down the hall. "Whoever that is. If you ever wanna hear my version of what happened, just ask."

She burst into a friendly smile.

"My name is Ra-jah."

The sight of seeing her smile, understanding the mispronounciation after having heard the right context, Krishna's flustered disposition turned soft. He tried to mimic the same smile that drew upon her own face, letting go of the nose that had been clutched, even if it was slightly painful to. Krishna was no stranger to the emotion in the slightest, shrugging his shoulders as if nothing had ever happened, his voice even sounding like nothing had ever happened.

"My apologises, Rajah... Names seem to come and go to me. I only seem to remember certain faces after a while, but once I do, I never forget them. Ever," He stated, tapping one finger against his temple.

"Anyways," Both arms pulled behind his head, "It's good that I ran into you. I'm-- not quite sure how to put this, but I guess the best way would be that,-- I need some direction. I have no idea where I am or what I'm doing,"

Krishna also spoke in a far more friendlier tone that was at ease, rather then his slightly deeper voice used to normally arouse interest to tantalizing others,

"So, yeah. Do you know how to help me out? It'd only be for this once, I promise."

Scorp smiled.

"Now if I told you it wouldn't help you much. Just know you will be needing some warm clothing and things of that nature. I'll prep the ship for take off board it when you are ready."

With that he boarded the ship in order to prepare to blast off at a moment's notice.

Cal strolled out of the cafeteria stuffed with fresh fuel and followed closely by Talon's droid Zee. He walked at a swift pace towards the training rooms all while releasing gases from digesting foods. Loud noises issued from Cal's front and rear portals, propelling him down the hall. Zee beeped a few request, but Cal paid it no mind, all he could think was, Man, I shouldn't have had those Correllian Beans!

He entered the training grounds, slightly relieved from his digestive turmoil, and set to work. He followed a strenous routine designed by Zee which was meant to allow for maximum muscle and stamina buildup. Pushups, lunges, sit-ups, pull-ups, and many more kinds of ups were performed by Cal Regium during his difficult training session.

By the time Cal was finished it was nearly five hours after the time that he had begun. The padawan dropped onto the floor and leaned against the wall, utterly exhausted. Zee, the droid, rushed over demanding that Cal keep working.

"No, No, not now Zee, I can't keep going. That's enough for today. Master Talon said he would be back soon, but he didn't mean five minutes from now. We still have tomorrow, the next day, and probably a little while after that until Talon comes back. Hopefully by then I will be in good enough shape to please you, but right now you have to give me a break. These things take time for us organics."

Frustrated with the padawan's performance, Zee rolled away knowing that he wasn't going to get anymore out of his trainee...

Psyche turned around to a vendor attatched to the space port. She picked up some things that she thought would be useful in frigid conditions, though the store owner tried to push some stuff on her (as sales people usually do) that looked ridiculous and she was sure she didn't need. After adding these things to her regular inventory, she went back to Master Scorp's ship and informed him of her readiness to depart.

"Hey, no need to apologise for the name thing. I'm bad with remembering names too."

Her smile lessened as she wondered if she could help the guy out.

"I'm flattered you'd ask, but I'm not sure I'm the person you should ask for guidance. I mean, you have an entire temple full of Jedi wisdom at the tips of your fingers."

Her left arm motioned gallantly outward as she finished her the last sentence. Rajah smirked.

"Of course, from what I gather, Jedi wisdom seems to be lacking lately. What with the recent failed attacks on the Sith."

Her eyes darkened a bit as she thought about the failed assaults on and counter strike from the Sith. The Jedi's miserable failure had lead them all to regroup in the very temple she now stood in. The temple that she and Hou-Jo were supposed to have had to themselves. She forced the rising bitterness back down and ignored it. There was nothing she could do to change the past. She had to focus on a trying to alter a particularly bleak future.

Rajah cleared her throat and half grinned at Krishna. "Would you escort me back to my ship. I have to drop something off. Looks like you could use a breath of fresh air. I know I could. This temple starts to feel like a tomb after a while.."

((I haven't simed with this character for a while so I'm not really in sinc with the Jedi order or the events of the galaxy right now.))

Dash's ship fell effortlessly onto the platform, the engines revved for a second then sputtered compliantly into silence. Then the man inside, a man who had not been to a Jedi temple for almost a years slid out of the side of a stark black a-wing with the agility that only a Jedi possesses. His cloak clung to his ankles fluttering just inches off the floor as he made his was though the winding corridors of the Jedi base seeking an place to rest his weary mind.

Times had changed sense last he wandered among his fellow brethren, there was no longer a Jedi temple on Coracent and a few misfortunate battles with the sith, had dissolved some of the power once held by the mighty order.

Dash found himself in a café of sorts, a modist establishment but everything Jedi was modist. He ordered mint tea from an out dated protocol droid then absentmindedly threw himself into a seat, in front of him was a table with an ornately woven table cloth. Dash pressed his fingertips against his temples and closed his eyes so much had happened as he sat on the sidelines and watched he wanted to do something he wasn't to make a difference in the galaxy.

Clumsily the protocol droid arrived with the mint tea sloshing a few drops on to the table cloth in the process. Dash thanked the droid and sipped his tea with pleasure.

Unaware of the previous incidents regarding the Jedi's past, he felt out of place for most the conversation, yet could also relate to their loss. In that manner, the young man could sympathize with a genuine nod to the humble request, shaking off the saddened expression as only one like Krishna could. In a heartbeat, he could jump around and switch faces upon just a thought.

"--But of course I could! You have to nothing to fear while I am near!"

Once more, the flagrant display of muscle came into play as he flexed his dominant right arm's bicep, displaying a very toothy grin.

"As many potential suitors could be outfitted with this task, you have chosen most wisely, Rajah. I am as strong as the forbadding mountain ranges, yet as swift as the gentle breeze which blows between them! Hah!"

Fairly overdramatic, he crouched low, holding one finger to his chin as both eyes remained closed.

"Now, let us go forth! To the ship!"

Leading on with a giant leap forward, Krishna held his right arm entirely within his cape, stretched around across his front in a very gallant display. Head held high, he marched forth without fear, staring down any and all who might look opposingly to his now latest companion.

Rajah could not hold back a lighthearted laugh at Krishna's dashing gallantry. She followed, smiling, behind him for a few steps before something dawned on her. The redhead sped up to stride aside her be-caped escort.

"Um, Krishna, I'm glad I have someone as bold as you to protect me from the hoards of big, bad Jedi but there's another problem."

She grabbed hold of Krishna's arm and gently halted him. When he turned to face her she smiled and whispered, "My ship's over this way," as she pointed in the opposite direction.

As if frozen in place, sheerly by her words, the young lad stopped dead in his tracks. Arching his foot back inwards, having been caught in mid-step, his neck slowly turned back to her, face flushing a red hue as the realistic turn of events finally hit him.

"I, uh, umm, knew that!-- Haha, yes, a test! Keep you on your toes!"

As if having anticipated it, he about faced with a quick spin on his heel, that long flowing cape folded back around his right forearm. Carried with a sheepish grin, Krishna strode forth now with new energy, carrying on a bit faster then usual.

"Not only must one's bodyguard be honed in on his surrondings at all times, but there comes time when you, too, must do the same! For our minds must be as one in order to see that this mission be cleared with no mistakes."

It wouldn't take long until they finally arrived, Krishna only having to stare down two defenseless little kids before that time. Bracing an arm against the ship, he began to polish his fist against his chest with a small breathe against it prior.

"See? Nothing to fear. And don't even motion for that credit chip! My services are free to all who need help and care."

"Thank you a billion times over." Rajah leaned in a bit closer and whispered in a conspiratorial tone, "Really. Thanks. I'd never have made it alive past those two vicious and blood lusting kids back there."

She stood back again and tossed a quick wink his way before abruptly yelling up into the ship, "LOWE, HONEY...I'M HOME!"

Seconds later a tall, gangly kid of about 18 or so bounded down the ramp. He stopped in his tracks at the sight of Krishna. His previous carefree attitude suddenly switched to one of very apparent suspicion.

"Lowen this is Krishna, my chivilrous escort." the redhead introduced. "Krishna this is Lowe, my copilot and sometimes partner in crime."

The teen greeted Krishna with a slight nod of the head. Lowe took the data pad that Rajah thrust toward him. He smiled at her, cast another wary glance at Krishna. "Why didn't you tell me you were brining company, Red?" came Lowe's demanding question. "If I knew I could have prepared enough dinner for the three of us. But no... you go and spring company on me with no regard whatsoever for my plans. First pretty boy Jedi and now this? Do you ever take my feelings into consideration? Do you ever? Huh? Do you?" His final two words trembled as if he were about to cry. But a few seconds later his distraught fascade crumbled. Lowe broke into an endearing grin.

Rajah burst into laughter and shoved him towards the boarding ramp. "Shut up Lowe and go stash this data with the rest. You're such a drama queen."

"Yes ma'am." He said as he skittered back up into the ship.

She turned back to Krishna and smiled somewhat apologetically. "Of all the co pilots in the galaxy I get stuck with the one that's a few ships short of a squadron." Her face took on a slightly more serious look. "Now since you were kind enough to help me get here the least I can do is try help you out. Especially since you won't take payment for you brave and selfless deed. What was it you said you needed... direction?"

Alone in the training room and slightly recovered after his break, Cal stumbled back onto his feet. He withdrew his shirt and set about resuming his training. He started with a light jog around the room. Each time he made the circuit his eyes were drawn outwards towards the green forest. He looked around, and without hesitation slipped out of the window and into the great outdoors.

This will be a much better place to train then that stuffy weight room.

Cal set off at a brisk run through the woods, not worried about what evil could lurk around the upcoming corner. His heart began pumping harder and harder, his thighs burned, and his mind told him to stop, but something inside Cal urged him onward. It was a slight euphoric sensation that grew greater with each step into the wilderness.

Soon Cal was rolling through the woods, scattering small creatures as he pounded down the soft trail. Ahead was a ravine of some 15 feet deep, at the bottom was a fast moving creek, and the only way across to safe level land appeared to be a low hanging yet sturdy looking vine. Thinking fast, Cal lept into the air at the edge of the cliff and just before he began his descent his hands wrapped around the organic rope.

Unexpectedly, Cal was lifted into the air. The vine seemed to be pulling him upward instead of allowing him to swing freely across the ravine. He rose into the air through leaves and branches and past tree dwelling animals. Through gaps in the vegetation Cal caught glimpses of a wide expanding forest overflowing with life. Lakes, rivers, and streams, all connected and glimmering like jewels in the afternoon sun. Vast waterfalls cascaded through the trees into what Cal could picture as being cool pools of thick fresh water. The scene was heavenly and filled Cal's heart with warmth. In such a place all thoughts of war, death, and the Empire did not exist. Cal was at home in those woods.

Cal happened to look up, just to see where this strange vine was taking him, and at the last instant Cal knew what was to be his fate. This plant was a man-eater. Cal had grabbed the wrong vine. He was being drawn into a fearsome looking plant that was nothing more than an enormous mouth with large hardened teeth spread throughout. Cal tried to swing himself off the vine, but he suddenly realized that the plant had become entangled in his feet. His next thought went immediately to his lightsaber, but as he reached around for it he found that it was not on his hip. His heart began to beat faster as he drew ever closer to his gruesome fate. He started grabbing all that he could, but the plant proved to be stronger until at last Cal managed to gain a good hold on a strong limb. The plant pulled at Cal's feet, but Cal clung to the tree with all his might. Please let go, please let go, were his thoughts as his body was stretched. Much more of this and I will be torn in two, PLEASE LET GO!

Then, just as Cal swore he could feel the muscles in his abdomen give way to the unending tension, the plant released him. Had it been able to read his mind? Had he somehow willed it to let go of him? Or, had it simply grown tired of fighting him?

All were questions that Cal was not immediatly concerned with. At the moment he was worried about getting out of this tree at back to base. He climbed out down the tree, no longer taking the time to enjoy the scenic views. His body ached all over. Zee couldn't have planned a better workout than the one Cal had created for himself. With great tedious effort Cal soon found himself safely on the ground next to the cliff. Slowly he worked himself into a jog and headed back towards the Jedi base where he would seek out a hot shower and a warm bed.

Having not known the other lad before, the sudden shift in personality had him taken aback, left curious over his actions. Only afterwards did he see the humorous sarcasm in the antics and crack a grin, extending a wave over to him as he seemed to dash back inside the ship. Krishna's attention turned back to Rajah, still inwardly laughing about the comment made about Lowe being a 'few ships short of a squadron.'

"I believe you are underestimating him, if you want my formal opinion on the matter. Personalities like that can merely be masks for the beating intellectual mind hidden beneath its funny shrowd,"

Then, almost on que, he thought about his words more with a humble shrug, "Or maybe it's just that. Either way, he seems like a trustworthy guy. Too bad I don't much about flying myself, other then how to push on the auto-pilot button and pull a few levers."

Reposing himself while still standing, one hand streaking back his long black hair, he spoke with a slightly more serious disposition in reference to her last question.

"Direction? Yes. You see, I traveled here seeking my brother who had been taken from me when he was very young. Now, we have been reunited and I am very glad for that. The only thing is, he wishes to become part of the Jedi order."

Krishna leaned slightly against the ship, looking downwards, "I don't want to lose him again, Rajah. He's the only family I have now. So, if I must, I'll follow him wherever he goes, even if that means becoming a Jedi myself. Only now, after having made that decision, I don't know what to do, who to talk to. It's all very foreign to me."

Towards the end, he picked his head back up with a grin, "Heh, listen to me. I sound like some out-of-place bumpkin whose terribly lost now. Oh well, I guess I might just be."

The steam from his mint tea slowly stretched to the ceiling wafting in between the thick oak rafters and lingering in the calm air. A mug sat half empty on an unoccupied table, Dash was gone and had been for some time.

He had first stopped by his ship, checked to see that its weapon compliment would be re-stocked, then proceeded to leave the Jedi base and wonder the tranquil jungles of Haruun-Kal. He first experienced the force while finding his way among these very same trees.

He fallowed an overgrown path that seemed oddly familiar, although he had to cut through heavy brush at times it was clearly evident that this had once been a well worn path. After passing through a particularly dense patch of thorn ridden bushes he came to a small clearing where despite the years, foot steps were still visible caked into the dry soil.

A small piece of sliver was trapped in one of the deeper depressions, except for a fraction of an inch it was buried making it near invisible when it was not caught in the light. A glint of fractured sun was all that Dash received as a beacon of its presence, but he was looking for it.

This spot had been etched into his memory with a hot coal, more then the location it was the event that had taken place there almost two years ago.

::Flash back::

Dash had just taken his first step to becoming a Jedi apprentice, he had been on Haruun Kal for less then a day. He was caukly and a little overconfident in himself, he had unwisely become headstrong with a Jedi master. Who then took it upon himself to teach the young Jedi a lesson by destroying his prized vibro-blade.

Dash had learned a lessen about perceptions and arrogance, but he had almost nearly lost fath in the Jedi. Left behind had been the broken shards of his vibro-blade.

::End Flashback::

Dash closed his hand around the slim piece of metal which subsequently glowed a faint yellow as it sensed its masters touch. He would keep it as a reminder of his failure and of that of the Jedi master, but he also held a strange feeling that it would somehow come in useful in the near future.

Just then he heard someone jogging down the path coming from the other direction towards his small clearing. The foot steps were quick and the breathing heavy almost as if who ever it was had been racing.

Dash quickly shoved the piece of fractured metal into his robe and then turned to see a young Jedi approaching trough the trees.

The mans footsteps slowed as he entered the grove and noticed Dash, who smiled and nodded back towards the base.

”œNice day for a Jog aye?”

A XJ3 X-Wing starfighter popped out of hyperspace rather far away from Haruun Kal. After broadcasting its transponder code, the ship was quickly cleared for landing because it used a Jedi code. The ship began its approach vector. After a quick entry into the atmosphere, it set down in the Jedi hanger.

Both occupants, the pilot and the astromech, quickly exited the craft and headed deeper into the Temple. It had been a long time since the Jedi had been to one of the Temple's, but he had little trouble finding an unoccupied room with a jack for his droid. Brad, the Jedi, set his posessions down on the bed before using the information slot.

After searching through the information there, Brad found the ship he requested was complete. It was a new CR90 to replace the one that was destroyed. "R2, go find the new ship, inspect it, and find another droid to pilot it." The droid tootled a response, reluctant to leave his new friend, but went and did as he was told.

Brad exited the room himself shortly after to find where he might be of help, and to see if anyone else had felt the same disturbence he had.

Kautra ship enterd the vasinity of Haruun Kal, where he called home. It had been some time since he had been there, abd many things had chaged since. Neada sat up as they touched down on the landing pad that was unoccupied. Kautra stood up, and with a calm smile, motioned for the Vornskr to follow. As if it were expecting such a motion, the Vornskr hopped up, and followed him out the door of his ship.

Kautra walked through down the path that led to the main building of the Jedi base. He looked down at the beaten path, and noticed the excess of foot prints that were trampled into the ground. Many people had been walking the path, which meant something had happened that had sent many people here.

Kautra made his way into the building, getting some strange looks as the Vornskr followed behinde him. Neada, the Vornskr was looking around enthusiasticaly as he had not been in such a place before. Al the new sights, sounds, and smells were exciting him greatly. Kautra could feel the excitement flow from the Vornskr as he made his way to his room. There were many jedi hopefulls, and padawans traversing the corridors of the Jedi Base.

Kautra reminised about his former padawans, and how they were not ready for proper training, and were on a diffrent path. Kautra indeed wanted to fully train an apprentice, but had yet to find one that would stay with him, but none the less he was still looking for an apprentice which would be loyal, and trustworthy of such knowledge.

Kautra made it to his room, and slid the door open. It was just as he left it, with the sun shining through the wide open window and the warm, cozy feeling of home. Kautra set his all his stuff down, with the exception of his light saber. That of which he placed in the holster to his right side. He looked down and petted Neada, and told him to hang out in the room. when Neada was settled, Kautra open the door and left the room. He was on a mission to find a decent apprentice of which he could train.

Rajah waited for the ruckus of landing ships to lull. As she waited for the various engines to die out she pondered Krishna's comment about intellect behind a funny shroud.

She knew Lowe was a maniac genius, at least when it came to building things, and hoped she wasn't taking him for granted. Without her co pilot she'd simply be lost in more ways than one. She then wondered if Krishna wasn't entirely speaking about Lowe...but of himself as well.

When finally queit fell Rajah looked back the the young man leaning against her ship. "If anyone here is out of place, It's me. This is the last place In the universe I ever expected to find myself."

She moved to and leaned against the ramp that lead into the ship. There was so much she wanted to say to him. If only he knew how much in common the two of them had. But she wouldn't dredge that up. Not at the moment anyway.

"Before we move any further forward, a question." Rajah's arms crossed before her chest. She thought about the way Hou-Jo had described Amon. "What exactly does it mean to be a son of Chaos?"

((YAY, somebody to play with!))

The pain of Cal's previous battle had nearly subsided. Instead a gargantuan amount of endorphins flowed through his body blocking out all bad sensations. He slowed down as he approached the clearing, noticing another Jedi crouched down over something.

"Yeah, it is a pretty good day for a little jaunt, and no I don't mind, I would enjoy the company," said Cal feeling the cold sweat trickle down his forehead, back, and legs.

"My name is Cal Regium," he said starting the run back up again at a slow pace, "I'm just out here enjoying the scenery and trying to do as my master told me. Who are you?"

Cal strolled onward towards the base. He hadn't expected to run across anyone out in the woods, but he welcomed the company. Perhaps this person would be willing to undergo a little training with him while Talon was away.

Dash Jogged back towards the base, casually chatting as he swatted vines and other underbrush out of his way. He made no particular hast towards the temple touching the ground lightly and not allowing his breath to reach anything the could be construed other then calm.

The younger Jedi introduced himself as Cal, and explained that he was on a simple training jog. He also implicated that he was still a padawain, this surprised Dash who would have guessed him to be a knight, as powerful as he was in the force.

Smiling Dash took a few quick strides to catch up, ”œI'm Dash Antilles, and it's very nice to have your acquaintance Cal.”

A ship fell through the atmophere with effortless grace, piloted by the skilled hands of a Jedi Master. It had been a while since Aryian had been to Haruun Kal, and to him it seemed the same, luscious green forests seeming to open wide and welcome him in. His presence cast a feeling of peace across the people there, a warm inner feeling of calm.

Within moments Aryian's ship was in the Jedi hangar, and the ship went into an automatic shutdown routine as Aryian departed and made a beeline for the food area. It was only after Aryian's stomach was full that he began to reach out with his own senses once again, taking in his surroundings with expert detail. He had been away from the Order for a while, and his intincts had dulled ever so slightly, something he would have to amend once he found the time. A quick duel with one or two of his comerades would suffice nicely, enough to bring the old battle senses back.

He sensed three that he knew, Brad, a Jedi he had flown wing with twice in space battles, Kautra Nadio, a Knight he had known but not really met, and his own former apprentice, now proud and strong Jedi Knight, Dash Antilles. There were a few other presences that dotted the area, but for the most part, they were weaker presences that marked Apprentices or Hopefuls. There was one presence Aryian felt that could have been a lot more powerful, which was either untaped potential or a master hiding his presence, but for now he left it ignored. He was at a Jedi facility, and he felt safe at all times.

Quietly he left, finding a room to softly meditate in, his mind once again going through the familiar exercises meant to expand the mental capacity one could exercise through the force. If someone were to visit him, he would not deny them nor be iritated, in fact, a thought niggled in the back of his mind, almost wishing for company, yet his firm discipline in the Jedi arts bid him stick to tradition rather than carrying on however he pleased.
