    Corellia

After an epic internal debate Rajah decided that this was not where she belonged. She wasn't sure where she belonged. She never had been sure. Without a backward thought to anything or anyone the embittered red-head lifted off the planet. Her little ship shot, like a bullet, into the sky. The ship soon plunged through and disappeared into the oranges and pinks of Corellian evening. (twodown)

After much silent contemplation Rajah finally stood, made her way back to her ship. Once aboard she retired to her tiny room, tossed her jacket and glasses onto the bed. She felt somewhat hollow. She'd lost touch with something, somewhere and wasn't sure what it was. It was a horrible feeling. The red head switched on the small monitor in her room. She pulled out some of the documents she'd accumulated and poured over them while absently listening to the latest holonet broadcasts. In the midst reading, she barely heard the tail end of a report about the latest attack on Coruscant. Rajah's stark black eyes narrowed. She turned and glared at the monitor just in time to see footage of the scarred surface of her home planet. A moment later she whipped a datapad across the room. It smashed through the monitor. Sparks and smoke spewed like a little apocalyptic fountain. A beaten down loathing began to rise within her once again. "Them." she said in a deep, threatening whisper. It was always 'them'. Those damned monsters that the Force begot. Sith. Jedi. Anything inbetween. They were an ever rampant scourge upon the galaxy. She flopped back into and laid amist the documents scattered about her bed. Anger and hatred made her tremble. She had fought hard to hold such emotions at bay and now that they were granted release they made their presences' known considerably. She rose suddenly and stormed through her ship. Tried to pace off some of her rage. But it wasn't working. Rajah moved to the cockpit and stared at the empty seats. Her eyes narrowed again. Before, she'd had someone who would listen to her rant and rave endlessly. Someone who could calm her make her grin despite how severe a mood she was in. He wasn't here. Not anymore. Rajah suddenly missed her co pilot savagely. He was probably the only creature in existance who put up with and loved her for all that she truly was. Muttering incomprehensibly, Rajah slid into the pilot seat and fired up the ship.

    Corellia

Having spent a considerable amount of time on Corellia and cooped up in an unfamiliar space, Rajah felt the urge to explore. She waited until Hou-Jo was asleep. The red-head dressed in native Corellian clothing then slipped away. She walked aimlessly. She took care to not attract attention. She took in the sights and sounds of this place. And at the end of it Rajah felt like a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit. Question. Should she continue trying to force herself to fit into the jig-sawed scheme of things? Rajah planted her butt on a bench. She pulled her sunglasses down from their perch on top her head. They were slid onto their usual place on her pale face. Life ebbed and flowed all about her. She felt like a jagged rock that had been tossed into the smooth flow of things. She sat silently an contemplated her stationary life as fluid and familial life swarmed around but did not and probably never would include her.

"Ive seen and lived in worse." She mentioned. "It's not so bad." She glanced around the place again. Her dark eyes sought out Hou-Jo. "So you were a child here? Try as I might, I can't picture you as a child. I can't see a little you crawling about in diapers or running in through the front door with a scraped knee."

Rajah squirmed around under Hou-Jo, tried to make herself more comfortable. The sudden jerky movements caused a spring to pop and jab her in the back. "Owwww." she growled into Hou-Jo's mouth. Rajah shoved him up from her. "What's this couch stuffed with? Daggers?" She squirmed around some more but couldn't get comfortable. No matter what way she moved that one spring always stabbed into her back. She eased out from under the Jedi. "Don't know about you but I"m not into the whole pleasure from pain thing. Why not give me a tour of this place? Maybe we'll stumble across someplace more comfortable."

She hardly noticed the sudden jolt of the couch legs giving way. A warm smile spread across her face. "I'm pretty sure I can never get enough time with you. But if I do get sick of you, you'll be the first to know." She said in a sweetly and planted a little kiss on his cheek. She pulled away and looked up into his eyes. "You know, throw in a crumbling ceiling and a scurrying rodent or two and I'd swear I was back in the underworld of Coruscant." Rajah joked. "Could it get any more romantic than this?" Rajah giggled, pulled Hou-Jo closer and kissed him on the other cheek. "I'm not complaining though. I don't care where I have you, just as long as I have you and you're all mine." She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him on the lips, half afraid that someone or something else would intrude and steal him away from her again.

Rajah crossed her arms when Hou-Jo mentioned some other female. She felt a slight jab of jealousy. She took in the view of the room for a bit before she responded to his question. "Actually there is something I want you to do." she said with a little smile. "Would you... possibly could you... tuck away your Jedi-ness for a while. I know it's a great part of who you are and it'd be impossible to shut it completely off but could you switch off as much as possible?" She moved to Hou-Jo and slipped her arms around him. "The Jedi Hou-Jo belongs to the Jedi. He'll never be completely mine. I want to spend some time with man Hou-Jo. He's the one I want and I want him all to myself. Just because I'm greedy like that." Rajah moved up and barely pressed her lips against his and pulled away. "Just for a little while?"

She strolled in, her dark eyes darting about the place. It was really wretched compared to the suite she'd had on Byss. Rajah smiled. Though it was a bit run down it was more along the lines of what she was used to. "It's not a bad place." she responded thoughtfully. "Not good either but not bad at all. Odd that the door was like that. Better check the place out entirely."

She smiled up at Hou-Jo. Rajah fell into the depths of his eyes and it struck her fully then how much she really had missed him. "You may have been minding your own business but your butt was doing otherwise. It was what got my attention first." she said, her smile widening. "That and I just couldn't pass up the chance to sexually harass a Jedi." She broke their gaze and looked around the area. "So where are we headed? And how soon till we get there? The sooner we get there the sooner I can give you some of that attention you so desire."

Rajah was about to ask for more info on his parents when she and Hou-Jo were rudely interupted. She bit her lip to refrain from laughing as the interupter confronted Hou-Jo about his mind trickery. When they left the guy behind Rajah finally laughed. She nudged Hou-Jo lightly with her elbow. "He's right you know," she teased, "damned Force users think they can do whatever they want." She wrapped one of her arms around his as they walked along. "You do seem to draw unwanted attention. It's how you ended up with me, remember?"

    Space

Once in hyperspace Rajah ordered Lowe to find a place for the two of them to just relax. She considered going back to Bespin but in the end decided she wanted a change of scenery. Lowe drew her attention to one place that looked interesting... and hopefully would be Jedi free. She needed a breather from their kind for a short time. Somewhere she could unwind and be herself for a bit. "That place looks perfect." she muttered. "Take us there." Lowe nodded and within minutes the ship was easily redirected towards the destination of Byss.

Rajah's dark eyes watched Krishna saunter off. She hoped that in his quest to become a Jedi that he wouldn't lose any of his spirit. Become an emotionless drone like the stereotypical Jedi. "Damn it." she muttered, knowing that Krishna was headed back to where ever Hou-Jo was. She could have sent the message with him to tell Hou-Jo that she was going to leave for a while. Rajah flagged down a passing hopeful. "You know who Master Poleb is?" she asked abruptly. The hopeful nodded. "Of course. How could anyone not?" Rajah grinned. "Hang on a moment, will you. Be right back." She dashed into her ship and scrawled out a quick message. After carefully folding it up she strolled back outside and handed it to the hopeful. "Take this to Master Poleb. The sooner the better. Thanks." The young girl nodded and dashed off. Rajah called up into the ship for Lowe to fire it up as she watched the hopeful disappear from her line of view. Once she was gone Rajah scooped up her coat and strolled back up the ramp as it slowly closed. After a few minutes the ship eased off the ground, turned, launched into the sky and disappeared into the clouds.

Rajah's dark eyes darted from Krishna's back to toward the temple. She wondered where and what Hou-Jo was doing. "Yeah. He can be trusted. In my humble opinion. Of course, I may be a bit biased in my opinion." She smiled ever so slightly before looking back to Krishna. It was incredibly cute the way he tossed his hair about. Rajah unzipped her jacket, slipped it off, tossed it back onto the ramp and then stretched. She thought about everything he said of his family and past and decided she wouldn't adress it. Not at the moment. Perhaps later... if there was a later. "You're a demi-god?" she asked matter of factly. "Are you in possession of any sort of godly... powers?"

Rajah waited for the ruckus of landing ships to lull. As she waited for the various engines to die out she pondered Krishna's comment about intellect behind a funny shroud. She knew Lowe was a maniac genius, at least when it came to building things, and hoped she wasn't taking him for granted. Without her co pilot she'd simply be lost in more ways than one. She then wondered if Krishna wasn't entirely speaking about Lowe...but of himself as well. When finally queit fell Rajah looked back the the young man leaning against her ship. "If anyone here is out of place, It's me. This is the last place In the universe I ever expected to find myself." She moved to and leaned against the ramp that lead into the ship. There was so much she wanted to say to him. If only he knew how much in common the two of them had. But she wouldn't dredge that up. Not at the moment anyway. "Before we move any further forward, a question." Rajah's arms crossed before her chest. She thought about the way Hou-Jo had described Amon. "What exactly does it mean to be a son of Chaos?"

"Thank you a billion times over." Rajah leaned in a bit closer and whispered in a conspiratorial tone, "Really. Thanks. I'd never have made it alive past those two vicious and blood lusting kids back there." She stood back again and tossed a quick wink his way before abruptly yelling up into the ship, "LOWE, HONEY...I'M HOME!" Seconds later a tall, gangly kid of about 18 or so bounded down the ramp. He stopped in his tracks at the sight of Krishna. His previous carefree attitude suddenly switched to one of very apparent suspicion. "Lowen this is Krishna, my chivilrous escort." the redhead introduced. "Krishna this is Lowe, my copilot and sometimes partner in crime." The teen greeted Krishna with a slight nod of the head. Lowe took the data pad that Rajah thrust toward him. He smiled at her, cast another wary glance at Krishna. "Why didn't you tell me you were brining company, Red?" came Lowe's demanding question. "If I knew I could have prepared enough dinner for the three of us. But no... you go and spring company on me with no regard whatsoever for my plans. First pretty boy Jedi and now this? Do you ever take my feelings into consideration? Do you ever? Huh? Do you?" His final two words trembled as if he were about to cry. But a few seconds later his distraught fascade crumbled. Lowe broke into an endearing grin. Rajah burst into laughter and shoved him towards the boarding ramp. "Shut up Lowe and go stash this data with the rest. You're such a drama queen." "Yes ma'am." He said as he skittered back up into the ship. She turned back to Krishna and smiled somewhat apologetically. "Of all the co pilots in the galaxy I get stuck with the one that's a few ships short of a squadron." Her face took on a slightly more serious look. "Now since you were kind enough to help me get here the least I can do is try help you out. Especially since you won't take payment for you brave and selfless deed. What was it you said you needed... direction?"

Rajah could not hold back a lighthearted laugh at Krishna's dashing gallantry. She followed, smiling, behind him for a few steps before something dawned on her. The redhead sped up to stride aside her be-caped escort. "Um, Krishna, I'm glad I have someone as bold as you to protect me from the hoards of big, bad Jedi but there's another problem." She grabbed hold of Krishna's arm and gently halted him. When he turned to face her she smiled and whispered, "My ship's over this way," as she pointed in the opposite direction.

"Hey, no need to apologise for the name thing. I'm bad with remembering names too." Her smile lessened as she wondered if she could help the guy out. "I'm flattered you'd ask, but I'm not sure I'm the person you should ask for guidance. I mean, you have an entire temple full of Jedi wisdom at the tips of your fingers." Her left arm motioned gallantly outward as she finished her the last sentence. Rajah smirked. "Of course, from what I gather, Jedi wisdom seems to be lacking lately. What with the recent failed attacks on the Sith." Her eyes darkened a bit as she thought about the failed assaults on and counter strike from the Sith. The Jedi's miserable failure had lead them all to regroup in the very temple she now stood in. The temple that she and Hou-Jo were supposed to have had to themselves. She forced the rising bitterness back down and ignored it. There was nothing she could do to change the past. She had to focus on a trying to alter a particularly bleak future. Rajah cleared her throat and half grinned at Krishna. "Would you escort me back to my ship. I have to drop something off. Looks like you could use a breath of fresh air. I know I could. This temple starts to feel like a tomb after a while.."

A small half grin curled at the corner of Rajah's lips. She couldn't help it. She'd expected him to swat at her... not at himself. "Relax." she said, attempting to conceal the humor in her voice. "It's okay now. Oh, by the way, I happened to see the punk who hit you." She looked down at her jacket and adjusted the collar before glancing back at Krishna. "But perhaps you'd rather hear it from Rajak." She glanced up and down the hall. "Whoever that is. If you ever wanna hear my version of what happened, just ask." She burst into a friendly smile. "My name is Ra-jah."

She'd rummaged through endless files. After downloading a bit of info onto a datapad Rajah left. She'd spent a good several hours sifting meticulously through data and hadn't managed to find that which she needed to know. She half heartedly re-read the info she'd catalogued as she moved through the halls. She was about to turn a corner when she happened to glance further down the way. She spied a familiar creature. He seemed to be dozing. Rajah watched him momentarily then turned and continued on her original path. Only a few steps were taken around the corner before she halted. She slipped the datapad into her coat pocket. Rajah turned and moved back to the main hall. She peeked around the corner. The creature that had caught her attention was still there. With the gait of a predator she rounded the corner and stalked towards the sleeping Krishna. She watched him for a few seconds before muttering, "He finally tired himself out. How adorable." Her hand carefully neared his face. She gently tickled under his chin in a lighthearted attempt to wake him.

She made her way through the temple, ignoring everyone as she did. Making small talk with ramdom Jedi was not on her to do list. Rajah turned a corner. As she did a warm smile spread across her face. She'd found archives. Perfect. She'd find what she needed within. And if she didn't find exactly what she was looking for she'd be sure to find scads of other useful information.

Through eyes, slightly narrowed, Rajah watched Hou-Jo leave. After a few stern seconds a little grin crossed her face. She sent a quick message to Lowe. With that done Rajah meandered deep into the temple. Surely there would be something, somewhere that would hold her intrest until Hou-Jo was done with Mr. Son of a Chaos God.
  22. Rajah

    Haruun Kal

'A son of chaos?' Rajah wondered. Though curious she didn't bother to ask what that meant. "I wouldn't have bothered bothering him anyway. You're the only Jedi I have an interest in messing with." She whispered. "Too bad you're too busy to mess with at the moment." She pulled away from Hou-Jo and motioned with a gallant wave of her hand towards Amon. "You're trainee awaits. Have fun, boys." Rajah left and strolled a short distance away. She took a seat. From behind dark sunglasses she stared sullenly at the group of men.
  23. Rajah

    Haruun Kal

Rajah grinned wickedly at Hou-Jo's suggestion but then dropped the grin only to replace it with an overly serious face. "Me? Mess with a Jedi? I'd never." She said as if tremendously offended. "But since you asked so nicely I may consider it." She glanced back at the brothers. "See you around boys. Pleasure to meet you. Especially you, Krishna." she said with a parting grin. Rajah then turned back to Hou-Jo. "So, how long do you expect his training to last?
  24. Rajah

    Haruun Kal

Rajah's lips split into a beaming grin. She could barely contain the laughter that welled up within her. Krishna's charasmatic forwardness was cute beyond words. "From the look of you, you've developed quite wonderfully all on your own. Think I'll keep my tips all to myself for the time being." She glanced back and forth between the two brothers and felt a sliver of sadness pierce her heart. She set that pain aside. Now was not the time for such things. Rajah glanced up at Hou-Jo. "I'm going to take a wild guess here... you're going to be the one training these two, aren't you?"
  25. Rajah

    Haruun Kal

Rajah grinned up at Hou-Jo. She slid and arm around his waist. Tension that she hadn't realized was holed up within her, melted away. Inwardly she was amazed at the soothing effect that Hou-Jo's touch could instill. Her coal black eyes settled upon the men that were introduced. She smiled and nodded in greeting to Amon and Krishna. The name Tzeentch was vaguely familiar. She couldn't remember where she might possibly have heard it. She offered her hand up to Krishna and grinned in response to his wink. "Yes. Rajah it is. Pleasure to meet you too, Krishna." Her head tilted to the side a little as she inspected the guy. "You're not a Jedi, are you? Your laughter is far too unreserved to be the laughter of a Jedi. Almost infectious. Like... a breath of fresh air." Boundless energy seemed to radiate from the young man. Her grin brightened a bit. "Are you to be Jedi-ified too?" she asked Krishna. Her eyes darted over to Amon. She wondered about the seemingly retrospective other son of Tzeentch. Wondered what might have brought him to the Jedi. Wondered who was to train him. Her smile slowly faded but not entirely. She suspected she knew who was to train Amon.
