  1. I was beginning to think I was alone and forgotten. Thanks for the comments, you'll be seeing more from me soon.
  2. Victory goes to Ariane, fire retardent chemicals ftw!
  3. Dagon

    Selvaris

Victory goes to Furion, although both parties made excellent posts.
  4. People say that the end of the world is coming, to prepare for the judgment of a wrathful God or some awe inspiring act of nature, but I pay it no heed. My world has ended countless times, and yet something of me is still here, my soul has survived. Which is ironic since most people describe me as soulless. I would introduce myself properly, but I'm afraid that I have outlived my name by many centuries. Regardless, everything I have known has changed, and yet I have survived. So it's with no small amount of annoyance that I am confronted with a disheveled man in a back alley telling me that I have to repent for the end of the world. Part of me stirs, the part that hates everything, and for a moment I contemplate ripping him apart for his ignorance. Now, however, is not the time for little indulgences, I'm on mission, and the way I kill is simply just too high profile. With a forceful shove, I send him into the alley wall, hard. My surroundings are distasteful, but one must make sacrifices to live my unique lifestyle. Amidst the poverty stricken streets I have to keep to the shadows, one look and the fact that I don't belong would be readily apparent. Unseen, invisible, I find the home of my prey. It looks like a hovel, a true shit hole, but that's the way this kind likes to live, constantly on the move, off the grid. Normally there would be Agency operatives protecting the perimeter, but not tonight. The target's betrayal had taken him out of the aegis of the Agency, and put him under their knife. Moving in darkness, I ascend to the second floor along an overgrown trellis, knowing full well that the first level entry points are booby-trapped. The smell of half eaten bodies wisped into my nostrils as I entered through the already broken window. So uncivilized. I found my target on the first floor, watching television on a torn couch. He had a beer in one hand, and a gnawed on arm in the other. He was overly muscular, jeans and plain white muscle shirt barely containing him, and his hair and beard were matted with blood. He was totally at ease and unaware of my presence, his senses only good against the living. I could easily end his life with a single strike, but I wasn't an assassin, not tonight. Tonight I was an inquisitor of the Agency. For the first time that night, I stepped out of the shadows. In a series of fluid motions I drew my sword, a slender but strong blade, and ran it threw the couch and the target at his midsection. With my left hand I slammed a syringe of sodium pentothal into his neck, injecting the powerful serum into his veins. With the thing pinned to the sofa like an insect on a collector's board, I rounded the couch to face him. It raged at me, teeth gnashing and mouth frothing. Then slow realization set in as the target took in my appearance. The hand tailored suit, the expensive leather shoes, the black, empty eyes. Anger turned to fear. ”œWhat the hell are you doing here? We work for the same people! I'm with the Agency like you!”
  5. Hold off on strolling up to the bridge, Black, Ariane is the one posting ship defenses, not Onderin.

    Kashyyyk

Victory here goes to Adenn, but both of you wrote wonderful posts. That being said, brevity is the soul of wit, and both of you may have been better off writing shorter posts. When you write longer posts, you're forced to post the actions of others, which can be ok in a friendly duel, but not so much in the more competitive fields of battle. Perhaps next time go for a 5 post duel, that way you get equal amount of writing and everything flows better.
  7. Nitestrike, your post is nulled, please try again without using shadowbombs as unstoppable uber weapons. And a reminder for everyone, if it wouldn't be fair in a duel("ambushing" someone and cutting their legs off in one post), it's probably not fair in a spaceship fight either("ambushing" someone and hitting them with an unavoidable attack that cripples their ship in one post). Remember that playing to win usually just tends to make you lose.
  8. All posts that involve communication need to be edited or nulled. Cerulean Fox is jamming comms, which means no transmissions or ranged uplinks. Furthermore, Nitestrike, you have to maintain concentration on shadowbombs for them to work, so either you're commited to the fight, or you're bailing for the planet.
  9. ::Darkwatch forces arrive in atmo, deploying tactical strike bombers to secure Artus.::
  10. Thorpe corporation finds new ownership With the disappearance of businessman Mortati, the galactic economic community is astir with the reallocation of Mortati's holdings to his business partner, the head of Darkwatch Securities. The first act of Darkwatch's mysterious head was to move all research and products to an undisclosed location for processing. Other notable property changes include Byss, where an individual known as Slicer tried to make a legal claim for the planet. Whether Darkwatch will retaliate in military fashion or seek to resolve the issue diplomatically is unknown. More as the story develops.
  11. ::Darkwatch fleet elements, already enroute to recover the net bomb components, wipe out the Nightcloak satelites in a co-ordinated strike bomber and warship assault. Daylight is restored to Manaan in a matter of hours.::
  12. ::Darkwatch deploys an inverse net bomb to protect the ceremonies under way and the eternal Vigilance, as per contract.::
  13. It's time to return to Silence. Thank you for the power you have imparted. ::And with that the two vanished...::
  14. Welcome back, Kaylynn, I was beginning to think you left the galaxy entirely. ::Dagon took a deep draught of the chalice, feeling the darkness crawling through his insides as he did. The power became a part of him and it was good. He offered the cup to Kaylynn.:: Partake of this and join us.
  15. You're Nhagathul? The one who called us here? Explain yourself immediately. ::Dagon didn't dare draw a weapon on the powerful Dark Side entity, but he remained cautious. There was no telling what the thing was thinking or planning.:: I was once as you are now. I served as you do, but then the Darkness moved on to others, and I was left to my own devices as an anachronism.
  16. ::A discreet cargo delivery is made at an old warehouse. The crates dlievered contain a small arsenal of clone wars era weapons, some modern weapons and two suits of medium powered armor with shields.::
  17. Excellent work, I can sense his transformation is nearly complete. Revan, I have been informed that Nom Anorus has been spotted on Gala, where the empire is currently attacking the rebel base. If you hurry, mayhaps you can catch him. Dominique, have your meat sack watch over the Jedi while we attend to other matters. Meat sack, if he tries to escape and kills you, I'm going to laugh at your corpse, then I'm going to laugh at his corpse too, because Nhagathul will destroy him. ::Dagon and Dominique travel deeper into the city of the damned, Dagon needed to speak to Nhagathul itself.::
  18. Find and subdue the Jedi. I want to know why he's here. Move quickly, he won't live much longer.
  19. ::The Darkwatch shuttle touched down only long enough for its passengers to disembark, before vanishing into the massive ash clouds. The pilots knew better than to linger. The ash clouds were blown about by powerful winds, sometimes puncuated by jagged shards of broken souls. The streets were long and winding affairs, easy to lose your way in. A mighty canal system of blood rivers cut through the city, spanned by great bridges. Throughout the city, the lost were transfixed on pikes, wailing in eternal pain.:: Be on your guard, there is no safe haven here.
  20. ::The Panacea and five Aegis class medical shipsarrive at Gateway out of hyperspace. A side project developed by Dagon, Neogenesis was a subsidiary of Darkwatch that provided emergency medical support anywhere necessary in the galaxy. Shuttles prepared to board the station to unload armored medical personel and specialized zombie hunters who had recieved advanced training for this situation. Massive support mechs called SHIELDs stood silent but ready to spring into action with powerful stun and incapacitation weapons.:: Survivor Foundation, this is captain Vespero of the Panacea. We have medical support and supplies standing by. Awaiting acknowledgement and permission to move in.
  21. OOC((I agree with OK, assumptions are not grounds for ignoring the rules. I wanted to send Amon to Mon Calamari, but couldn't until Dagon pulled out. On the other hand, the SSD Sword of Truth was posted as being at Mon Calamari when we shot it down with the planetary batteries. If it left before the attack, it was not posted.))
  22. ::With their mission completed, Darkwatch no longer needed to occupy Mon Calamari. The dust off order was given and the majority of Darkwatch left the planet, leaving behind only those who sought real battle.::
  23. OOC((Three day rule. Sorry rebels you had your chance.)) Fire the defense cannons against the primary targets. ::Massive blasts of energy smash into the rebel fleet as the planetary guns are turned against them in a hellstorm. The rebel captains, driven nearly mad by Dagon's mental attacks, are unable to take the proper measures to defend against them. Their ships, already weakened by the rogue captain, fall easily to the hail of fire, and explode in a blossoms of fire and metal. Only one ship is spared, if such a fate can be referred to as being spared, for the Emperor himself has boarded it.:: Darkwatch, good work, prepare for dustoff but keep sharp, we may have finally gotten the attention of the rebels.
  24. ::The Darkwatch fleet, with the exception of the Dawn of Angels, deployed directly into the atmosphere of Mon Calamari, deploying their drop pods and air support before jumping out. A powerful electronic device dropped with the troops jams all communications. Individual commanders lead their troops on their assigned missions as Darkwatch soldiers tap into the EBS to inform civilians that as long as they stay in their homes they will not be harmed. Four pods are dropped into a nondescript piece of the Mon Calamari ocean, far away from the others. Tapping into the Force, Dagon targeted the minds of the captains of the ships in orbit, filling their heads with terrible visions and screeching noises. While such an attack was nonlethal, it would buy them time which is what they needed.::

    Corellia

::With the siege ended bloodlessly, Darkwatch withdrew, successfully having defended the lives and freedoms of the people of Corellia.::
