Borleias

Camsie brought his blade around in a circle, the orange blade pulsing with power. The caamasi settled neatly into a offensive stance before raising one hand.

Out of the hand came flying a uncontrolled wall of the Force, heading straight for Armiena. As the Force push hit Armiena's guard throwing her off balance, Camsie leaped forward into hand to hand range.

The Blur descended into Borleais's atmosphere, dropping out of hyperspace as it hit the gravity well. Aryian was going at far faster speeds then he should have, but at the moment, he just didn't care.

Landing in his usual spot, he exited, concentrating heavily upon the object in his hands: Jurha's lightsaber hilt. He levitated it for what he was about to do next.

It was highly corroded from the metal-eating bacterias in the jungles of Haruun Kal, but he fixed that as the bacteria was melted off when he heated up the air around it. The metal became hotter, and it flowed not by it's own accord to smooth over the dents and holes caused by the bacteria. Satisfied, it floated off, landing well within the building in a courtyard of sorts at the feet of a young woman Aryian knew quite well. ((Jurha))

He followed Talon's call, finally drawing back into himself the ghost he had left behind in the minds of the two men. He met with him shortly, exchanging regards with him.

Jurha looked down at her feet. She smiled and picked up her lightsaber. The hilt of the saber was larger that a normal lightsaber. The main grip alone was as long as her thigh. She wasn't sure why she had chosen to build it that long, but she felt it helped the saber stand appart. The saber weighed more than the generic lightsabers Aryian had supplied her with priviously. Six pounds, it was a little uncomfortable for Jurha to easily weild, but she had hoped it would help her build up her strength. She had also used some starfighter paint she had found in the Haruun Kal hangar to cover it with a maroon red color.

Jurha loved it.

She opend up a panel at the end closest to the emitter. Inside was an empty chamber designed to hold the primary cyrstal. All the others had been avialable at the base.

She reached around her neck and grasped the leather chord that hung there. Held by the cord was a foggy yellow crystal Jurha had found a long time ago in an antique shop/junk yard. She had pulled it out of a broken lightsaber. It appear to have been cut in half by something or another. Jurha couldn't explain how she had found it among everything else in there, why she had opened the damaged weapon, pocketed the cyrstal and had never allowed it to leave her sight since then.

She unwound the cord and placed it into the chamber. She shut the panel and locked it. She gripped the saber tightly in her hands. She took a breath to steady her self and pressed then activation switch.

The saber thrummed to life and a yellow-green blade of light emerged. Jurha laughed and moved in a few slashes and strikes. The blade made satisfying whums as it passed through the air. She switched it off and laughed with delight.

It appeared whatever it was had no intention of leaving its hiding place or speaking to her for that matter. She shrugged, at this time she had other things to do, and she wanted to show Aryian her saber.

She left the courtyard and traveled to where Aryian and the other Jedi where gathering to speak to the visitor. She stood off to Aryian's side and remained silent with her arms and saber clasped behind her back waiting to see what would occur.

"If you care to join me, I will deliver my message to Talon. He and I have....history." Jareth replied to Scorp.

As he made his way through the dojo to Talon, he allowed a calming reverberation eminate from his body to lessen the fear that might reside within these fledgling jedi.

Once he arrived at Talon's side, he placed a hand on his shoulder and looked on him as a friend.

"Master Gantoris has fallen to the darkside. Master Keiran is being held by the Hutts. These are trying times, and I must be permitted to speak with the leader of your order........if the order still has leadership. I fear for the fate of the entire galaxy. This new evil will not be easily quelled."

Jareth's tone was somber, and serious. He allowed images of Keiran's capture, and the images that Keiran had sent to Jareth of his battle with BLKclone to flow into Talon's mind.

"There isn't much time."

Torment swelled within Jareth's soul as he spoke. Self inflicted pain pierced deeply into his heart. The presence of these jedi, who he had so hated, brought feelings of remorse right to the surface of his awareness, and crippled his already fragile emotions.

The former sith crumbled to his knees, and gripped his head with both hands.

Avararda didn't even have to take out his saber, the attack was so fast. It seemed to happen while he was zoning out. Quickly he took measure of who was dead, gone, or whatever else.

OOC: What are you talking about?

IC: Dhan-Jaroe's ship landed on the planet, he went to where he should be.

He helped Jareth up to his feet.

"These are dark times Jareth. Gantoris is gone, like you said, as well as Akturus, Valoria, and Poleb. Anyone else of commanding rank is unaccounted for. I suppose myself or Talon is in charge, but neither of us are not as up to date as well as we should be."

Jurha knew it wasn't her place to speak and she really didn't understand what was going on around her at the momment. But she felt it had to be said.

"Thank you for telling us," she said gently to the man.

The full range of emotions coursing through him and the Force around him were very strong. From what little she could pick up from his history Jurha couldn't help being facinated by his presense among them.

Scorp who had indeed accompaned the former sith lord had much to think about.

"I see I shall contact Master Kirlocca immediatly to inform him of this information. However I advise all of you to go to Harrun Kal to as you said regroup. Meanwhile I still have a killer on the lose in this area."

Scorp broke away from the little meeting and after retracing the frequency found Master Kirlocca comm.

"Master Kirlocca We have complications. Master Gantoris has fallen to the darkside. Master Keiran is being held by the Hutts. Oh and a Former Sith Lord would like to speak with you. SInce you are the highest ranking jedi present.

On A second note A mysterious Figure his inflitrated the dojo So I will be delayed and won't be arriving with the Former Sith Lord.

Scorp Out."

Then shutting off his comm. He wondered how he would find the assilaint who seemed to be quite good at hiding.

Armiena was surprised by how aggressively her master was fighting. All this time, she had built up an impression of the Caamasi as a generally pacifistic, calm, and even gentle being. She bared her teeth in a feral grin. Which means that he might be out of his element. Time to reverse our positions.

She let the momentum from Camsie's Force Push spin her around, though she used it to fuel a slash at his midsection that she aimed behind her back. It was an easy blow to block, but it had served its purpose. The strike had so much strength and speed behind it that it temporarily knocked her master's blade out of its guard. Armiena stopped her spin, and backflipped to Camsie's back. Having to clear less than 3 meters, it was an easy jump to make safely, even for a relatively untrained Padawan.

Now take the offensive. Strike while you have the chance, her instincts told her.

And Armiena obeyed. With a quick flick of her wrist, her dark blade came about in a chop at the Caamasi's legs.

He was glad his apprentice had finished her lightsaber, but there were more important things at hand, and she would have patience for him.

"We should be just fine here, Dhan-Jaroe, for there is enough power amongst us if he isn't here to decapitate every single one of us...Master Jareth, is it? The leader to our order was Keiran. Now, if I may speak for all of us, with this news I don't think anyone knows who our current leader is. In Keiran's absence, I would think it is either Master Kirlocca, Or Master Ara-Lai. Neither of them are on this planet. However, I do have a comm."

Aryian sets the microphone on the comm up to where it can conference, and opens the channel. He spikes it just in case, making it go off wherever the master was. This was important, and he did not want the Master to miss it.

"Master Kirlocca, no doubt you know that a Sith is among us, Master Jareth. He brings us dire news about Keiran, but it can better be explained by Jareth himself."

He nods to Jareth, And moves the mini-cam to encompass him. Unfortunately, one of the things Aryian didn't have on his advanced comm unit was a projector, so they wouldn't be able to see Kirlocca, but they would be able to hear his voice quite clearly.

In the courtyard of the Jedi dojo, a being stirred from his long reverie. Much had gone on in his mind, and the rest of the Galaxy, as he mulled it all over...terrible things were afoot on far off worlds, including the home planet of the species that made up half his genetic structure. The Twi'leks of Ryloth had suffered greatly at the hands of powerful Dark Side followers -- an old source of evil he knew not but by name, a former pillar of light that had since collapsed, and a familiar enemy that he had bested in single combat, seemingly in another life. Though details could not be known, the untold suffering nonetheless called out to him in his meditative state, and he had felt more then enough to know that he was once again needed to serve the forces of freedom and justice.

But there was another in their midst here on Borleias...one who was familiar to him, yet there was something fundamentally different about the man that he was almost unrecognisable. He had known the man before as a nemesis of his master, Keiran Valoria, and had seen him in action on the ice-world of Hoth...Jareth Vermillios was the last person he expected to feel the presence of here, but if what he was sensing about him was true, it could only be for the better. There was an awesome power that he could feel within Jareth; on the one hand he wanted to learn to harness some of what the former Sith Lord knew, but on the other, he knew all too well that the man needed his own time to reorient himself along his new path. However, the name of his old master sparked the attention of Ben'a Solo...he needed to know what this man did.

The Jedi Knight rose from his position on the stone bench beneath the fruit tree, and strode off unseen, back to his ship and the deactivated form of Ayevit. The plucky little droid had served him well in the past, and it was a crime that he still remained in the wretched state he was, wiped of memories and inert. After about an hour of hooking up cables and setting up secure connections, Ben'a was ready to reboot the highly-specialised astromech droid, and download a backup of his old memories that he had kept at Haruun Kal. After another hour of beeping, whistling, blinking lights and clicks, the droid was fully reprogrammed and beeping a chorus of thank-yous and what the hell happeneds.

"It's a long story, Ayevit," Ben'a said as he disconnected the last of the cables and powered the ship's computers back down. "Come on, old friend, we've got some people to meet..."

The droid beeped an acknowledgement as it followed the Jedi as he exited and sealed the ship.

The oddly-matched pair reentered the Dojo without fanfare. Seeing without looking, Ben'a followed his senses to where his former apprentice, along with Jareth, were conversing. Another familiar pair of presences were nearby; it had been a long time since he had seen or felt Dhan-Jaroe Kenobi, and also Scorp. After arriving at the place where the four were meeting, Ben'a bowed reverently and took a seat.

"Much has happened, I can sense from your auras and my own outward perceptions and mental wanderings. If we are to take action, you have me, my droid, and my starship at your command...I will do whatever it takes to see peace restored once again. First of all, what has happened to my former master?"

Ayevit beeped somberly in agreement...

((Ahem? Four? Use your other hand, next time. There's six. Me, Jurha, Scorp, Jareth, Talon, and Zero. Now you.))

Aryian's very soul swelled as he saw his old friend walk into the room. Now, though, he wasn't as suprised, for he thought Ben'a was dead earlier, and yet he was not. He had great confidence in the man, and that no matter how many times he may need time to himself away from the galaxy, the galaxy would always calmly call him back.

He nodded to him, welcoming him in. Little did Ben'a know of the pain and suffering he witnessed on Ryloth, especially his own. Aryian was a changed man after that, losing a significant amount of his usual high spirits. He was calmer now, older.

And ready to become a master. Perhaps the two men were not all that far off on their path through life...

((Oopsie...but please, don't call me "Good wood"... ))

With another solemn nod, Ben'a acknowledged Jurha, his friend's Padawan who was close to Knighthood herself, and Talon, the exile he had brought from Coruscant. Everyone seemed to be affected by what they had witnessed recently, and inwardly the Jedi felt a small twinge of guilt for not having been there for the recent battles. For all that he had done in the past for the Order and its ideals, he had missed most of the really big confrontations; ones for which he could have lended his talents to, perhaps, provide just enough extra power to save one more life, to protect one more world...but it was not something to dwell on. Wars did not make one great, after all...

Camsie blade came from the opposite direction and blocked Armiena's strike. As the two blades came into contact sparks flew. Good. Offense. She has learned much, and I believe she is ready. But, for drama's sake. Camsie went into a complicated series of thrusts, chops and swings wearing on both his and his apprentice's strength.

As the final blow of the combo struck and was met by Armiena's lightsaber, Camsie lifted his hand and held it in front of Armiena before speaking.

"Good. You are, indeed, ready. Do as you will, Jedi Knight Armiena Draygo."

Then as an afterthought.

"As long as it isn't destroying countless numbers of innocents."

Dhan-Jaroe turned to Aryian.

"Well, as you said, neither Keiran nor Kirlocca is present and if you recall, Poleb and I led the strike teams. Since he is dead, I am taking command. If Kirlocca is the ranking Jedi, and if he is on Haruun Kal, that is where we are going. That is an order. I will not allow arrogance be the death of more Jedi."

He than turned to Ben'a and chuckled.

"It's been a while Ben'a. Last time I saw you, you were just an apprentice. Now you return with the wisdom of your master. We can talk of old times later. For now, we must prepare to leave Borleias.

"As you desire, Dhan-Jaroe," Ben'a said with a nod as he stood back up. His eyes flickered for a moment as, about a mile away from the Dojo's outer walls, a starship's engines began to roar to life. "We should move now; if anyone does not have an immediate mode of transportation, there is plenty of room aboard my vessel...Talon here has already seen what my ship can do..." He cocked a small smile in the direction of the former exile.

"Ayevit and I are already ready..."

With a nod to Dhan-Jaroe, Ben'a Solo exited the room and strode confidently back through the many hallways and out of the entrance nearest to where his ship lay, at the same time using the auto-call, activated through his implant, to ensure that she was hovering right outside, waiting for him as he exited the large complex of buildings. He waited for a moment for any other Jedi who needed a ride to arrive...

((You forgot one...))

Avararda calmly Force-pulsed all that was going on. Armiena winning her duel, Sith's infiltrating dojos. Life seemed to be calming down. Now he could tend to the important things.

Taking his apprentice aside, (I still need a name, man. I may be a Jedi, but I can't pry personal info. Wait - yes I can. But I'm a Jedi. If you don't wanna tell me, I can't force you to.)) he said "We have been through many things already, and you have handled them deftly. I am already proud of you. Many normal people would have already been crushed, mentally or physically."

"Now, by becoming my apprentice, you have chosen to learn the awesome powers of the Force. But like all good things, there is another side. The Dark. This thing, this force will always be there, no matter how hard you or anyone else tries to hide it. As long as it remains there, people will follow it. They are called the Sith. Even though they follow the Dark side, they are not weak. In fact, some think them stronger than us Jedi. But as long as we have our good side, and the Force as an ally, we will prevail, through everything. I respect your desision to ally yourself with the Jedi. Now you have a chance to make another choice."

"I want you to think very hard about this. You can either go through your complete training first, or build your saber. I recommend going through training first, so you know how to use your saber, but even if you do build it first, I won't allow you to use it. This isn't a form of punishment, I just think it will be safer, both for you and for everyone else." He gave a short grin and a laugh. "I will allow you to hold the elegant weapon of a Jedi, just to help you make your decision. Like I said, there is no right or wrong choice here, just tell me what your heart desires." Avararda pulled out his saber, and activated it. A green glow was emitted to all directions. For safety, he turned the power low, and handed it to his apprentice.

Now that the duel was concluded, and her Knighthood secured, Armiena snapped her lightsabre's blade up to a close guard. The hilt was placed slightly below her navel, and the blade reached up beyond her eyes. The gesture was understood--Armiena was saluting her master, as her training was now over.

"Training is never over, Armiena." The words of one of her trainers in the Rebellion came to mind. "The day we stop training is the day that we day, so we need to make sure that we can delay our fate for as long as possible. There will always be more battles to fight, more tyrants to oppose and overthrow, and more deaths to narrowly avoid. Never forget that, wherever and whatever you may be, you need to stay sharp."

She extinguished her lightsaber, and blinked a few times, having been slightly blinded by its glare. The newly-promoted Knight smiled gently at her master as she returned her lightsaber to her belt. "That's exactly what I intend to get in the way of. Of course, I'm not going to be much good with this broken arm," she shrugged slowly, as to not upset the injury. "And a vaporized ship. I intend to go to Coruscant and order a new ship, and heal up my arm en route."

She paused, feeling slightly awkward. "Thank you, master, for everything." Without a further word, she bowed to him, and left.

From the library, she retrieved a few datacards, those on the art of Healing. Even in a fast ship, she'd have some time to study them while on the way to Coruscant, and perhaps heal her arm. Once satisfied, she retrieved a new set of robes to replace the ones she had shredded to make her improvised splint, and returned to the hangar.

Dine was already waiting for her, apparently having had nothing to do but chat with the maintenance droids. The R5 unit whistled a query.

"That's right, Dine. We're leaving." She Levitated her protesting astromech into the droid socket of a lightly-modified E-Wing that belonged to the Jedi. She was only borrowing it; she wasn't trained to pilot a snubfighter, and the controls--and cramped cockpit--were awkward for her.

As she brought the E-Wing out of the hangar, she tossed a quick salute at her master with her good arm. A few minutes later, she was in hyperspace, her destination unknown to all but herself and her master, and completely untraceable.

((So, don't follow me again, Grief. I'm not in the mood for a fight, even for "character development."))

As Camsie watched his apprentice... No, Ex-Apprentice, leave Borleais's atmosphere a smile graced his features. It feels good to finish training her. I wonder if it will always feel like this. So fulfilling And so with a bounce in his step Camsie walked up to his old E-Wing, The Peace Maker. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever flown you gal'. Camsie smiled letting his hand drift over the ships hull before reaching his force presence out.

He felt a familiar presence. Well, several in fact. And so Camsie headed to the closest one. The force presence of Jedi Ben'a Solo. As the caamasi approached the ship he banged his fist against the hull before hollering.

"What's going on here? I've been otherwise engaged."

"I suppose we're going to Haruun Kal Master," Jurha said watching Ben'a's ship land. "I think we should take Blur, in case we need her afterwards. But as usual it's you're call."

She stuck her lightsaber in her belt, since she didn't have a clasp or hook for it yet, and shoved her fists in her pockets. She politely waited for her master with a bemused and distance look on her face.

She watched the one they call Jareth fall to his knees. She didn't know what, but she could feel the Force at work again. She opened her mouth to ask if he was alright, but she recalled men of his sort having a good deal of pride, and she kept her mouth shut.

She looked back to Aryian.

Fallen Sith. She had heard of Fallen Jedi, but never of Fallen Sith. It would be difficult. Nothing, but scorn from those who use to share your beliefs, and few Jedi would ever trust a once Sith.

Jurha smiled. She trusted Avararda now. He had proven his alligance to the light, hadn't he? She bowed her head. His alligance could easily be shattered and he would fall back to the dark, but she found her self trusting him, for now, regardless. They were all vunerable to such things, she could just as easily distrust her self.

Jurha blinked and cleared her throughts. She didn't feel like thinking too deeply at the momment.

Ben'a turned to acknowledge the Camassi Jedi that had hailed him. He had known the man before, but only breifly, from the mission to investigate the world of Altyr V. The Jedi Knight knew of the reputation of Camsie's kind, but also knew that this one was quite capable of fighting in the face of a greater evil. He respected this being indeed, but unfortunately Ben'a was unable to answer his question to either party's satisfaction...

"I do not know the specifics, my friend," he replied to the Camassi's inquiry. "But I expect we will find out soon enough, as we are heading off to Haruun Kal; if you need a ride you may accompany me...but I see that you have your own ship."

The distress that had befallen Jareth finally occured to Ben'a, and he moved swiftly to see to the former Sith. Perhaps it was his overly trusting nature, or maybe his past experiences with ex-Sith, but Ben'a thought that it would be worth the risk to trust this man. With a heave, Ben'a hoisted Jareth onto his shoulder, and hefted him into his ship, placing him in the care of the small medical unit in the back of the passenger area.

"I know not what brought you here, Jareth, but if what I sense is true, then I am glad. Master Keiran means a lot to me, and if I can aid him in any way, I will...and you as well."

With a nod to his new companion, Ben'a sat himself back into the pilot's chair and input an appropriate series of random hyperspace co-ordinates in preperation for departure, but not before sending out one last Force message.

Any Jedi needing a ride to Haruun Kal, come aboard...

A small rented ship came in for a preprogramed landing that was none to smooth. There was only one person in the ship. A young woman with red-gold hair and bright emerald eyes sat in the captian's chair, She was slumped over the control consol. She had not eaten in days, and her face was covered in bruses. She slowly slid down into blackness. As she did she sent out one message on the force.

Camsie nodded at Goodwood's words before thanking him and walking back towards his ship. The battered hull had been in better shape when he left Borleais to train with his old master, Neo. But then again, Borleais had been in better shape when he first left to train hadn't it?

Camsie smiled as he swung into the E-Wing, melting into the heated seat. The Peace Maker flew out of the hangar it's engines roaring. The ship hung in Borleais's atmosphere before making a micro jump to the edge of the system.

The caamasi punched in the coordinants to Haruun Kal before making an untraceable jump to Hyperspace.
