Ki stretched and rose from the bed in the Lady Indiscretion, dressing in her black skin tight armor and inserting her knives in her hidden sheaths within her boots and arms. She strapped on her blaster belt and took in her appearance in the mirror... Hmm, bit of make up and then to find loverboy...

She sauntered down the halls, coming across Kabe in one of the Training rooms along with Captain Piccolo and some others she had yet to meet. Running a delicate red-painted fingertip across the back of his shoulders, she leant over to kiss Kabe's cheek in greeting.

"Found you love, you're a hard man to find at times..."

Looking across at Captain Piccolo she nodded her head in greeting.

"Nice to see you again Captain."

Noticing Piccolo's talking with the stranger, Draj waited a few more minutes. He had no intention of disturbing a well-known bounty hunter. After a while, however, Draj remembered that Fett was waiting on Ilum, awaiting assistance. Quietly slipping out, Draj returned to his ship, and deactivated the security devices. He then ran a malfunctions check while waiting for the engine to heat. Both finished at the same time. Draj took off for space.

"What are you doing?"

"Thinking about God."

"In a corner?"

"Faith is not in a floor plan..."

Kabe nodded in return,

"Captain Piccolo, you need not worry about your usefulness to me, injured or not, your reputation precedes you. And better off, in your favor, was father's word and your oath of loyalty... both are things, that surprisingly, I value quite highly. As for my visit, in addition to being bored out of my mind in the Citadel, I wish to overlook the Hunters and their training... and perhaps, engage in a bit of practice of my own. Been too long, wouldn't want the instincts to be drowned with arrogance."

Her fingers, her scent, went unrivalled, and as always brought a pleased expression to his face, "It is always a pleasure to be found by you, angel."

Ki tilted her head slightly as she regarded him. It had been some time since she had tested her own skills in the combat ring that she felt she would like to hone her reflexes more as well. The only talents she had used lately had been of the more intimate kind. She liked to keep herself fully functional and prepared for anything and everything.

OOC: Sry for not posting sooner, I was in Florida.

IC: Jag rose from the floor, and watched the conversations taking place without interuption. He also watched as Fett then Draj left the planet, off to Ilum. Jag decided that he wasn't needed in the present conversation, so he nodded to Piccolo, indicating that he was leaving, then he strode out of the arena, heading for his Hybrid ship.

As Jag reached his ship, he entered slowly, replaying the fight in his mind, wondering if he could have done better at his present skill. ShadowFett had indeed outstripped him once more, almost without tr ying. Jag felt the familiarity of his ship as he thought, and sighed when he realized that he would always be beneath Fett, although he may be able to put up a fight later on in his current position.

Jag powered up his ship, then blasted off the planet, heading for Ilum.

Piccolo was surprised Kabal was interested in combat. Smash was a brilliant leader, but, while hed' been leader, Smash had never personally participated in the violent aspect of the Black Sun's affairs. Kabal's interest in this area was admirable to the Doshan.

"Since I'm still recovering, I put Fett in charge of the Jedi bounties commissioned by Ob and Lord Ar-Pharazon. So most of the trainees are out with him. But myself, and Will are available to spar with you. Combat droids can be provided as well."

Kabe brought out a smirk,

"Well... I'd be willing to engage in whichever of you seems most up to it. I'm thinking a bit of melee combat initially, it's been a long time..."

He let one hand drop down to one of his two hookswords, and lightly tapped it, in mild anticipation.

"As you wish sir. I'd be more than happy to fight you, I need the practice."

Piccolo removed his cumbersome helmet and a bit of his armor plating. His metallic arms were visible to the Black Sun's leader. Piccolo had insisted they not bother to put synthetic skin over his false arms and legs. He was convinced the appendages would only be temporary. Full Doshans could regrow lost limbs, and Piccolo was confident half Doshans could as well. Piccolo had always had a dislike for droids, he had no plans of living the rest of his life out as half of one.

The hunter gripped a force pike in his hand, testing its weight. He didn't bother to activate the weapon since this was only a spar. He moved forwarding a little, waiting for Kabal to make his move. Piccolo's shoulder buzzed with a dull pain as he twirled the pike.

Anger filled Avion faster than it should have as he stood next to Piccolo. Why was he being completly ignored? Before he could even complete the thought however, he found his answer.

The leader of the Black Sun had just arrived apperently. Avion had never met or heard of Daisaku, but his demener told Avion everything he needed to know. It was like the guy owned the place. Which he probably did.

As Daisaku and Piccolo faced on another, the young Zabrak inched his way to the edge of the room. He was awfully anxious to see the great Piccolo in battle. He wanted to know if the rumors were true.

Avion took a seat against the wall and watched the battle comence.

Will seeing the battle going on had a sudden jolt of excitement, and ran quickly down to where the action was. He saw it was the leader of the Black Sun vs. Piccolo.

This is going to be interesting he thought to himself as he too grabbed a chair and sat down, but unlike Avion he sat a great deal farther away from the fight, because he knew things were going to get brutal, and as a side thing to occupy his time he was modifying a thermal detonater.

Kabe drew the two hookswords, holding one in each hand, giving them a twirl to test their balance. He was protected by some experimental light armor, prototypical-energy absorption design for Black Sun Operatives, albeit highly-unstable, and thus, far from refined. He carried a pair of heavy blasters, as back up.

In a quick two-step, Kabe drew closer towards Piccolo, and hooked the force pike near a far end of its long handle. Jerking the pike up and away from Kabe, giving him enough breathing room, to come in close on the Doshan with a slash across his chest. Only scratching the surface of the armor plating, as Mandalorian ore streaked across the plating, reverberating a noise akin to the Earth-equivalent, nails on a chalkboard.

He released the hooksword's hold on the force pike, deflecting a downward blow, bringing in his right blade's point to nick the Doshan's tough skin along his cheek. Revealing a hint of blood...

"Capt. Piccolo, if you feel drained from your injuries, feel free to sit this one out."

The arrogance Lordling, knew this would at least touch the surface thoughts of Piccolo's Doshan anger, enough to rile him up a tad bit and lead to a bit more ferocity...

After the action began Kabal and Piccolo began to intensify, Avion realized he was sitting a little bit too close to the action. He immidiatly left the room he was currently in, and went to find a better vantage point from another area.

As he was exploring the facility, a computer terminal cought his eye. The young Zabrak, compeled by curiousity, approached the terminal and swiched in on.

The last bit of information revealed Fett's plan to go to Ilum and wait for Jedi. It appeared that he only brought Jag and Draj with him.

We can use all the help we can get against Jedi, he thought to himself.

Avion quickly headed for the hanger get his ship and blasted off towards Ilum.

Piccolo was impressed with Kabal's swordplay skills. But that feeling quickly was lost in his anger at Kabal's words. He knew Daisaku was trying to bring out his temper. The man had said previously he wasn't concerned that Piccolo was affected by his injuries, and it was probably obvious Piccolo was sensitive about the possibility of losing his combat abilities. Nonetheless, the words stung, and the hunter focused that energy into the battle.

Piccolo wiped the blood from his face, and moved closer to Kabal. He ducked low as Kabal swiped a blade over his head. Seeing an opening Piccolo jabbed his pike toward Daisaku's ribs, but the other hooked blade was already there to block it. Piccolo spun backwards barely missing another face swipe.

He's fast with those blades. And their unique design is working well against my pike.

But perhaps Piccolo could use that design to his advantage. Kabal had come for Piccolo, after the hunter had spun backwards, pressing his advantage. Piccolo held his pike, hands on both ends, and pushed into Kabal. The Black Sun leader quickly brought his hook swords up, blocking the charge. Piccolo and Kabal were locked in place, as the hook swords were stuck on the pike bar. But as Piccolo pushed he noticed a problem. Pain shot through his shoulder, where the prosthetic met his flesh.

Not a good time for this. It must be the stress of combat. My body has to get used to such exertion again.

Piccolo wasn't about to let the pain defeat him, though. He pushed up on Kabal's blades. The hunter sprang off his back leg, and used the opening to quickly slam his other foot into Kabal's midsection. The metal struck Kabal's armor, forcing their weapons to unlock, and sending the Black Sun leader into the practice mat hard. It was several feet before Kabal finally skidded to a stop.

Piccolo rotated his arm, working his shoulder muscles. The pain appeared to have passed. He waited for Kabal to rise.

Kabal released his hold on one of his hookswords, placing a comforting hand on his sore mid-section. If it were not for the armor's added protection, the impact would have shattered a few of his ribs... instead, he'd be spared with a massive bruise. A bit of blood trickled out of inside of his mouth, testament to the Doshan's strength.

Like tempting a rancor with a stun blast.

He rolled onto his knees and hands, rising and retrieving his second blade, watching Piccolo maneuver his ailing arm. "It is good to see that Father spoke truly about your strength... that'll be with me for weeks."

He spat the blood, letting the metallic taste swirl on his tongue, before he leapt back into the fray, aiming both blades like spears, a brave, yet foolhardy move. As Piccolo's pike rose horizontally and deflected Kabe's arms at the elbow... a distinctive and all-too destructive popping sound was heard.

His foiled attempt was not a total failure, as the blades did prick the scales along Piccolo's neck... but the uselessness of his arms was inevitably going to give Piccolo a victory in the short-lived duel.

Surprisingly, however, the pain and fear of having broken his arms, did not show on Daisaku's face... not even a tear or a grimace, only the same empty expression and the absent-smirk afterwards. "Congratulations, Captain Piccolo. Now, heal, old friend... perhaps a drink, afterwards... when I can move my arms again, eh?"

There was a soft laugh afterwards as Kabal used his knees to stand, his hookswords clutched in his hands, while his arms hung limply down his sides. "Perhaps next time, I shall have improved my technique and not fall to baseless aggression."

Ki had observed the battle, getting a thrill each time she heard the clash of blades and pike. She stayed unobtrusively in a corner away from the two Leader's of BlackSun, out of sight, out of mind as to not distract either combatant.

Seeing the duel end she sauntered over to the pair, wondering if she should grab a first aid kit to treat injuries.

"Very impressive... makes a girl wish to have lessons. I might be skilled with daggers and blaster, but not with sword. I'd like to learn sometime if I could get one of you to teach me?"

"I'd be happy to drink with you anytime. I know you went easy on me."

The hunter left Kabal for the moment, allowing a few operatives to bandage his wounds, and refit his discarded armor. As he stood there, Piccolo reflected on the battle. The half Doshan should have been disappointed the fight was over. Despite Kabal's injury, he suspected the man had a great deal of fight left in him. But what he actually felt was relief. The fight had seemed wrong somehow.

It's these cursed droid parts.

Fighting without flesh and bone had felt so unnatural. Piccolo thought it was odd how he had no problem with cybernetic implants, but fully mechanized limbs revolted him. The doctors had said it would be months before he regrew his limbs, if at all. Piccolo wasn't sure he could make it that long.

A dark presence could be felt emerging from the shadows. Glowing red eyes pierced the dark and locked onto Piccolo. Shimmering claws could be heard sliding from their place within his hands. Muscles tensed as the monster prepared for his assault.

In a quick motion, a monster emerged from the shadopws, pouncing onto Piccolo. teeth snapped in front of Piccolos face, leaving a slight gash on his cheek. All the humanity and sentience that had once been in Bles Trium, or Larek Tefgod, had been shred during a time of trial., Now all that remained was a two legged beast.

The beast slinked back into the corner, keeping its eyes locked onto Piccolo. The monster was now known by Razortooth, its true calling. The beast was tough, but he could be trained by a true warrior.

--Comm from ShadowFett--

"Captain Piccolo, we have secured a Jedi, the apprentice of an important Jedi Master that I was unfortunately forced to kill. I feel it necessary to report that another Jedi Master showed up as well, but he escaped before I was able to capture him.

"Now I am requesting orders. It is my intent to find a planet to lie in wait for a rescue team, but I think it is unsafe to hide on Dubrillion, where the Jedi would discover the location of our base when they launched a rescue force.

"With any luck, our bounties will be among the Jedi of that rescue force, and I believe I left enough of an impression on the Jedi Masters to convince them to send a large team to rescue the apprentice."

Piccolo twisted surprised at the attack. He quickly slung his helmet on and leveled his blaster pistol at the creature. He was about to fire, when he recognized something familiar about the beast. Piccolo's thoughts were interrupted by a communication from Fett.

"Hold that creature at bay, but do not kill it."

Piccolo took the time to quickly evaluate Fett's notes, and reply, before turning back to the beast. He had seen this creature before. It looked very similar to Larek's form when he transformed. Whatever it was, Piccolo intended to find out. The hunter moved the operatives aside, and tackled the beast, gripping it's massive head underneath his arm.

Kabal had heard Fett's comm and had seen the beast attack, but it was still much too fast for his reflexes or those of a more trained warrior, hunter or assasin. He walked away, escorted by a Black Sun physician where a number of anesthetics were placed on his arms to dull the pain and bandages were settled to heal the broken arms. It had been a number of hours since the end of the duel and Kabal had returned, escorted by Ki,

"Love, when my arms can move, I'd be happy to train you."

Yet the matters of the Jedi Apprentice led Kabe to slightly more important matters. Barking orders to a Black Sun Operative, "Contact the Imperials, I am sure they have connections with the Dark Lord of the Sith. They may find this bounty quite interesting. Contact Fett directly and tell him to head for a place to lay low, Coruscant, and we shall contact him shortly. Just let him know, it's open season on Jedi."

With a smirk, "It's the least we could do for the ailing Republic."

"Piccolo, I require your presence at the Last Call. I am going to meet Jedi representatives there and we are going to challenge them to a fight, making sure that Ara-Lai and perhaps Jareth Vermillios are among them. That way we will collect the bounties.

"Alternatives are that they pay us the full price of the bouties on their heads, but I doubt they'll agree to that."

Piccolo recieved the comm just as he was about to take this thing down. He backed off quickly before it could get to him.

"Keep that thing at bay. I will return as soon as possible."

Piccolo made his way to wear Kabal was recovering.

"I'm sorry to interrupt Mr. Daisaku. It seems Fett has successfully captured a Jedi, as you know. He's beginning the negotiations at the Last Call, and I'm want to monitor them. But if you need me that takes priority, and I'll return immediately. Fett can handle this himself if necessary."

The hunter entered his ship, and headed for the Last Call.

Through the miracles of science, the amalgalm of experimental technology and the genetic strengths inherent in the Daisaku bloodline, Kabe's injuries had reached a near minimum as he awoke, with Ki to his side. He moved his left arm and despite a sudden weakness and an inaudible screech of grinding bone... he felt better.

He managed to push himself off the bed and summoned the on-hand Black Sun Operatives to a meeting room. The comm echoed across the closed-circuit of the base booming rather loudly...

ALL BLACK SUN HUNTERS REPORT IN!

Kabal stood in silence for a few minutes, taking note that only Ki bothered to arrive... "Very well, what of the exchange between the Jedi and the Black Sun Operatives?"

A Black Sun Comm Officer reported back of the failures...

"Very well, summon Captain Piccolo and the others, we have plans for our Jedi friends. Contact the Imperials and Lord Geki of SEED. I have a feeling, either one may prove quite useful."

His hand began to tap the table restlessly... "Ki, dear, I think it is about time the Black Sun becomes reacquainted with the affairs of galactic politics."

And then as inspiration strikes, "What of the Hutts, those delightfully slimy fellows are bound to be as anxious as we are to get their hands involved in anything... they do have hands, don't they?"

Piccolo returned to Dubrillion in a very unpleasant mood. He was notified of Kabal's request, and reported to his leader. He kneeled before Kabal,

"I take full responsibility for the failure on Coruscant."

Piccolo had mentioned problems might come of bringing the apprentice to the Last Call, but he hadn't done anything more. He had been as foolish as the rest.

"Kaipi is not important anymore. The Jedi have disgraced the Black Sun, and all must be eliminated."

It is time, we take a handle on the situation."

Raising his arms, "We shall await the decisions of our peers and press forwards."

The Night of Vengeance emerged from hyperspace with a flicker of pseudomotion and landed at the Black Sun base on Dubrillion. ShadowFett, at the controls, calmly brought the ship down and exited via the boarding ramp.

He was almost surprised to see Kabal Daisaku waiting with Piccolo apologizing to him for the failure. When the Black Sun leader turned aside the apology, Fett approached his two superiors in command. "Lord Daisaku, I am honored to finally meet you," he said calmly, emotionlessly despite his genuine respect.

Fett thought about also apologizing for the failure, for the mission was in his hands, but he only said, "Although this mission has failed, the bounties are not unattainable."

The hunt was not over until the bounties turned in, whether by himself or by another, more fortunate bounty hunter. This Fett believed with almost the passion that he believed and followed his complex and dominating set of morals.
