  1. The image flickered, and then settled. It showed massive destruction, from what looked like grenades. From out of nowhere, a voice was heard. It sounded like the owner of the store, Jarnok. "This is what is left of my store. I single-handidly killed two intruders with my illegal disruptor rifle. I love that gun. Anyway, I killed both of them, and then tried to destroy my shop to get insurance. Hopefully it'll work. I hope I-" The voice stopped abruptly. "Sith-spit! It was on Holonet? I wanted it on my journal video! SITH-SPAWN!" And then the video flickered out.
  2. Draj piloted the ship through space.
  3. Draj woke up. What a dream, he thought. He scratched his head, and looked around. The forest of Foy surrounded him. Leaves crinkled and floated. Twigs bent and snapped. The forest life bustled around him, giving no second though to the third-rate bounty hunter. Draj stood up and immediately fell. His head swam, sending the foliage into a deep blur. His eyes crossed, so the hunter slapped himself. It felt like his eyes were rolling. They finally came to a stop, and this time, when the Mandalorian stood, he only stumbled. Where.... Again Draj searched, and this time he found: the Sixth lay only a few yards from where he lay. Testing his feet, Draj half-walked, half-shuffled towards his ship. Once inside, he set the autopilot, and crashed into the pilot's seat.
  4. Throughout all of his confusion, Draj's mind was telling him one thing: Say yes. Whatever the reason, Draj said yes. And felt like he condemned his soul to the Sith themselves.. Little did he know how right he was.
  5. A rumbling sound could be heard from his backwards-left. Instictively, Draj looked. Big mistake. Draj ducked, but not in time. The log, or rather, small tree, hit his right shoulder with the propulsion of an angry rhino. Even with his armor, Draj heard the bones in his shoulder crack. He was launched backwards, landing on his back. The Mandalorian squeezed his eyes shut, hoping to exterminate some of the pain. Using his left elbow to help himself up, Draj carefully slid the armor off. Blood flowed freely, although Draj could tell that he would live. Shame. Grimacing, he ignored the dropped pistol and unsheathed his vibroblade. The log seemingly came from nowhere, so the bounty hunter was lost. Looking around, he suddenly heard a cracking sound behind him. Draj summersaulted to his left, rolling 180 degrees in the landing. Immediately he slashed downwards, and killed - - a forest creature. Rising from his kneel, Draj continued to wander the forest, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his shoulder.
  6. After doing a run-down on the ship, Draj decided.. ... he wasn't getting off the planet the same way he got down. The Sixth's time was done. The beautiful metallic hull was now battered, scratched, and all around destroyed. Internal fires made it impossible to retrieve anything that was inside, and that included credits. All Draj had on his person was his blaster, and a blade. Speaking to himself, Draj said, "Well, hopefully there are-" The bounty hunter whipped out his blaster and fired four shots behind him. They all hit nothing, save for trees and foliage. Hmm. I must have just spooked myself. Or maybe not. Keeping the pistol to himself, the Mandalorian crept towards, what he thought, was another person. Little did he know that the real person was off to his five-o'clock.
  7. Draj's ship, The Sixth, came into the atmosphere of the planet Foy. He calmly took it down, before realizing something. Aren't there supposed to be- He never finished the thought. Instead, The Sixth was pelted by lava-hot anti-air blasters. One shot clipped his starboard side, sending him into an uncontrollable spin. The ship did four spins before coming to a smash into the dirt. Dust, gravel, rocks, and other debris were thrown up into the air, courtesy of the massive ship. Inside, Draj gritted his teeth. Worst parts over, he thought. He was wrong. The ship nailed a tree, and Draj wasn't happy with the result: an enormous dent was placed into the front of the Sixth. "Sithspit!" the Mandalorian said aloud. After the crash was over, Draj went outside to inspect the damage.
  8. Draj nodded at the 'good job.' Mentally, he saved the mission, storing it in a special place in his mind. "A weapons provider. I think I have just the thing in mind," he said to himself. Scooping up details, Draj left the building and headed for his ship. Once inside, he closed the ramp and took off.
  9. The receptionist ushered the bounty hunter into an extravagant room. In the center stood, who Draj assumed to be, Zara. The door behind Draj shut, and he turned towards Zara. "I'm in need of some buisness. Kat was taken, but I assume I am under your command. Or rather, you are my employer."
  10. Draj finished counting his credits, and stood up, satisfied. He was going to have them deposited, but he had more pressing matters. Walking up to the receptionist, Draj said, "Pardon. I'm looking for one of the Nargals. For your sake, I wouldn't bother Kat, so could you ring up the other?" On her nod, Draj took a seat and waited for his buiness-provider to arrive.
  11. Kat left, leaving Draj and his surprised face. No pay? What kind of show does this guy think he's running? Draj pushed a button, and his wrist-slitters went back to their previous state. His next mission, Draj decided, was to find Kat, and get his money. Walking over to the receptionist, Draj said, "Call Kat. Tell him to come to the lobby. Say it's a.... buisness negotiation." The receptionist gave Draj a skeptical look, to which the hunter replied, "Just do it."
  12. Draj sat back and watched, ready to jump on Jak the moment he decided to rebel.
  13. Draj turned and saw the kid with his fists up. The antic made Draj laugh. "Kid, you're in no position to fight. Lets consider the odds: One, you're surrounded by anti-personnel guns, followed by trained guards. They don't know you're bounty, and I'll probably forget to stop them. Two, I'm a Mandalorian. That alone makes me twice as better. Three, you're hardly a threat with your pointless comments. They only make you seem like an infant. Four, I have technologies on this armor that you've never seen. In half a second, I could have sliced your arms off, and still claimed the alive bounty. It'd hurt, but only one of us." Draj made an appearance to twist his guns and re-holster them, but at the last second, flipped a switch on his wrists. The kid didn't see it, of course, but Draj was ready with his wrist-slashers if Jak made a move.
  14. Gleaming in the sunlight, the Golden Link Casino slowly came into view of Draj the Bounty Hunter. He expertly landed his ship on the ground, and visted his fulfilled cell. He took the stunned Jak and slung him over his shoulder with no concern for his feelings. After much searching, Draj found Kat doing what casino-owners do. Draj set the body down, and waited, saying nothing.
  15. Once Draj was satisfied that the info had been transferred, he left back for his target, in Coruscant.
  16. "I'm not quite sure, but my information tells me that a showdown is happening. It might not even be on that planet anymore, but the last I heard it was on the Jedi academy on Coruscant. It may be moved, I wasn't well informed." Draj shifted his weight, and waited for Zane's response.
  17. Draj looked at the man standing before him, and knew it was Arclyte. "You have buisness on the Jedi world. I was payed to tell you this. Should you require help, I'll be available for a fee."
  18. Draj flew his ship in from hyperspace, allowing autopilot to land. He stepped out and surveyed his surroundings. He'd seen better. Draj located the nearest grouping of houses, and grabbed a random person. "I'm looking for a Zane Arclyte. You know'em?" The man, too scared to speak, pointed to Draj's left. The bounty hunter thanked him and put him down. The man walked quickly away. Finally, after many other person-grabbings, Draj found an apartment complex. He located the name he was looking for, and hit the ringer. Inside Zane's apartment, an alert rang, letting him know someone was at the door.
  19. Draj walked up to the weapons, selecting a sedative pistol, among other explosives: many thermal detonators, a CryoBan grenade, and a chaff. He tucked them into his belt, heading towards his ship. Jak, he thought. Capture, not kill. He got into his ship, and left.
  20. Draj nodded, and continued to pretend to drink his ale. The bounty seemed fair, with no catches. He could detect no lies about this 'Jak,' so Draj nodded. "I'll take it," he grumbled. The only flaw Draj saw was aquiring the sedative. And then he remembered the credits in his pocket. "When can I leave?" he asked.
  21. ((OOC: Yeah, even if you WERE paralyzed by being hit with a volley of stunning shots...)) Draj, now fully revived, followed Kat. He hadn't been expecting the tongue, and had never seen on of the man's species. If Fool was an honorable man, he would've declared a loss, and Draj wouldn've left him alive. Next time, Fool, he thought. He placed the image of his enemy into a mental databank, storing it for the next time the two met. Draj went to walk with Kat, taking the ten thousand credits he offered. They let their feet carry them to the local bar, and Kat offered Draj a drink. But not before winking, Draj thought. He took the ale that was offered, and pretended to drink. He refused the cigarette. "So what do you think, Would you be up for another job, that isnt quite your ordinary, every day sort of bounty?" Kat said. Part of him wanted to go after Fool, but the other part didn't want to let down a potential employer, so he spoke. "What kind of buisness are we talking about?" he questioned in a voice rarely heard.
  22. Draj, letting his opponent take the blasters, dove to the side to avoid the stun shots. Both him and the enemy were untouched by the shots, and the fight continued. Mandalorians were always trained in all aspects of combat, and Draj proved it as he figured out ways of fighting without his blasters. He wasn't too pleased at losing his custom weapons, but sacrifices had to be made. Rubbing alcohol out of his eyes, he blinked. It hurt, but not as much as losing the map. It'd be his only saving-grace, couldn't lose it. Draj decided on fighting rather than negotiating, the same as his enemy. Dodging shots still, the bounty hunter swept his leg under the target, sending him off balance. Draj designated his opponent as 'Fool.' A look of surprise was holding Fool's countenance as he regained his balance. Draj delivered a crushing backhand blow to Fool's head, sending his eye's into a spinning daze. The warrior took advantage of this to steal the items Fool had taken. By the time that Draj had fitted them into his armor, however, Fool had regained his bearings. He threw a punch at Draj, which he took personally. He had to learn to be the best fighter, and taking punches wasn't the quickest way to doing it. Just as Fool had thrown another one, Draj dodged to the side, grabbing the limb. He twisted his body to put Fool in front of him.... and in front of the stunning fire. Shots nailed his back, and Draj could see another look of surprise on his face. He took the body, frozen from the neck down, to the pillar he'd previously occupied. Shots still rang beside him, but unless the stunners felt like recieving a punishment that Fool did, they'd stay far away. Draj gently set Fool down and crouched next to him. With Draj's hand on his throat, and the other hand holding Fool's wrist's together, he said, "Now, tell me what you want, or unless you'd rather take some more beating. I don't take kindly to strangers that attack me when I'm on a job."
  23. Draj checked the stunned man's body and found exactly what he was looking for: A security clearance card. Just as the bounty hunter was about to continue, he heard a scuff, courtesy of a boot, or a... follower. He took a step forward, and heard it again. This time Draj continued, but turned around all of a sudden, his guns aimed at the trailer. "What do you want."
  24. Draj looked down at the map now in his hands. The man also attempted to hand him two blaster pistols, but the Mandalorian had to refuse. He whipped out his own two pistols, which had a stun setting. Draj switched it to the non-kill mode. He also looked at the holomap, noting particular points and entries. "So... are you in?" the man said. Draj could tell by the man's features and attitude that he was the one known as Kat. "Yes," Draj said. "I'll do it." He was about to ask Kat to take off his guardian defense-cannons, but Draj decided to challenge himself. "I'll start immediately," Draj finished, taking the credits from the casino's owner. He pocketed them, and continued towards the outside of the casino. No reason to start at the finishing point. The Mandalorian returned to his ship, studying the map further. The cannons, which Draj had referred to earlier, were numerous: they outlined the roulette-shaped casino. Draj had finally returned to his ship. Let the fun begin, he thought. Draj pocketed the map. The bounty hunter started, removing the pistols from their holsters. He crouched down, trying to evade the cameras that he found on the map. All of a sudden, a blaster bolt shot out from a random point. Luckily, Draj's reflexes acted quickly, and he was able to roll away from the shot. The fifteen-year old took cover behind a pillar, waiting for his unseen-opponent to foolishly reveal himself. Patience proved to be the victor, as Draj's enemy fired again, and he was able to find his target: A staff member, off to his left. Draj put his guns to the test by turning from his cover, and firing. Two of his shots went stray, but a third nailed the employee in the chest. He was flung backwards by the force, and Draj trudged on, eager to earn his pay.
  25. The Sixth gleamed as it exited hyperspace. The metallic spacecraft rocketed downwards, towards the new casino. This wasn't hear when I went to sleep, but hey, when you sleep for months, what can you expect? the Mandalorian thought. The ship was cleared to enter the casino's airspace. Taking the ship off of autopilot, Draj took the ship into a deep descend. It slowed down as the ground seemed to rise towards him. The Sixth emitted a large amount of pressurized air to give it the room he needed to land. Finally Draj set the ship down. He hit a button, and the exit ramped lowered. Haerin stepped out. He looked around, and spotting what looked like a staff member, he began to walk towards him. "Excuse me. Where can I find the owners of this casino?" The man pointed, with a look of extreme annoyance. The employee then returned to his previous buisness. Draj followed the man's point, and moved in that direction. He approached the person, and spoke. "Pardon, but do you have any work? Preferably some... bounty... work." ((OOC: I don't know who's here, and who's not. If you have the authority to answer, shoot.))
