Beck watched as the Axis fleet began to make return fire and pour some concentrated fire at Agamemnon and had it’s bombers begin runs at the smaller vessels. With his own eyebrows tightening up, he saw the Ascalon make an attempt to stand alone to protect the smaller fleet vessels but even to Beck, a rookie Admiral in his own rights understood that such a maneuver would end up being in vain. But the difference between Beck and other fleet commanders was his clone programing, which allowed for him to process information faster and retain it far better. His own studies of battles told him that the focus of the fleets should be to have the Star Destroyers stand together, making a harder defense to go through. “Motte, inform… Commander Foster to pull away from defending and form up on Misericordia. If we are to stand longer than five bloody minutes, we’ll need to concentrated focus of the fleets.” Within his own mind, Beck understood that such attempts showed a lack of understanding of how to defend, or even basic use of tactics. And with current low levels on critical things for his own Star Destroyer, Fiat Lux, the battle would surely be over without a single attempt to push back if everyone kept on not following the orders to form up. “Open the comm channel Motte. Battlegroup, form up in pattern 7-A4. Have all smaller vessels draw in close next to our Star Destroyers. The goal will be to make life hell for those bombers as they will get ripped to shreds if they continue their attacks. All TIE’s are to focus on removing the bombers and ignore their fighters. A necessary priority to keep our warships alive. Then I want for all Star Destroyers to focus on the Mephistopheles.” Beck turned and began to move more towards the front of the walkway bridge to truly view the battle as it unfolded. He knew from what he saw, today would be the end of the Imperial Remnant. Or at least, the end in a sense of magnitude. They would be reduced to nothing after this and forced to start over. Less than ideal. Yet, as long as our convictions run deep and we have enough fortitude, we shall rise again.

Beck watched as the Misericordia fully pulled away from the refueling dock and was getting ready to make the orders final for the Fiat Lux to begin docking procedures when alarms began to ring out throughout the bridge. The communications officer began to shout. “Sir, Multiple contacts emerged from hyperspace… It’s the Sith war fleet! And Black Sun’s as well from the looks of it.” The Admiral looked at the tactical display and could see what looked like the entire fleet of the Sith, plus other ships already moving into attack positions with shields going up. Then there was a sound that made him angry beyond a white-hot rage. Silence. Turning around to observe the entire bridge looking at either him or the tactical display themselves. “Are you all new recruits?! Launch our fighters, move into defensive position over the shipyards, get our shields up, and somebody for the love of the Empress, start blasting fire!” Beck was quick to move to the center of the bridge so that he could help facilitate the entire ship’s crew easily from one spot. “Open all channels to our own fleet, battle encryption 7A. I want for all Star Destroyers to scatter around the shipyard in primal instinct pattern. The rest of the support fleet is to remain behind them, so that they can remain protected until we can see their movements.” Beck narrowed his eyes as he watched all of the TIE fighters empty from the ships and begin to swarm the enemy ships and the 4 Star Destroyers begin to move into positions and start their own probing of the defensive shields of the enemy fleet. We are going to lose. There was no other thought that was stronger than that one as it floated around within his head as he studied and watched the entire outcome begin. The Battle of Kuat was about to begin, and Admiral Beck was positive, it would be the shortest defensive action the Imperial Remnant has ever held.

    Kuat

Beck could only make a glaring face as he stood at the bridge of the Fiat Lux and watched as the rest of the Imperial fleet finished up their refueling time at the dock of the Kuat shipyards. He had relieved Lieutenant Motte for the time being, to allow for even his own senior officers to get some rest. His own tea had grown cold over the time of watching the fleets make their needed dock. But if he was honest, the real reason the tea was cold was due to the fact that he hated tea. A stronger drink would have served him better. Unlike the rest of the crew and fleet commanders, he found himself most relaxed and at ease while in command on the beautiful star destroyer. It was far more relaxing then going over to the shipyard. He was certain the love of the bridge, the relaxing energy of just being on it came from his deployment out in the Outer Rims, which was ended by his Empress succeeding from the Galactic Alliance and taking control over all remaining assets of the Imperial Remnant. It was what save the fleet from rotting out there, and helped move Beck into the position he was currently in. In fact, outside of maybe a few elites, no one, including the Empress, most likely knew his true purpose and design. His file was so filed with blackouts and missing early portions that he was certain only Admiral Kain knew the true purpose. And Beck was certain that Admiral Kain erased the data upon ending the project and activating him into service. In fact, the fact that he has yet to see Kain or heard his name mentioned is something that held some intrigue to him. But for now, that was all backstory that could be explored later. He was far more interested in the goal of docking. It was then that Lieutenant Motte showed back up and whispered into his ear. “All crew, prepare for docking procedure at refueling dock 2-I-A. We dock as soon as Misericordia leaves dock.”

Beck stood at the bridge of the Fiat Lux and watched as the rest of the Imperial fleet emerged from hyperspace and begin their own docking procedures with the shipyards around Kuat. There was a strong sense of pride that welled up within him as he watched the glory and splendor of the Imperial fleet gathered all in one spot. But he was also not completely a moron either. Amongst that pride, there was a sense of needing to provide order. While the fleet was a grand site to behold, he felt a twinge of fear. A sense that it was a mistake to gather at the shipyard, when so many planets could have use elements of the fleet to protect them. “Lieutenant Motte. Inform Battlegroup Knight of the current rotation setup for docking for repair and refueling. They are to prioritize the ships that are at the lowest. The Fiat Lux will go last since we seemed to have spent the least.” Beck continued to watch the fleet take turns docking and letting crew off to enjoy some rest after a few good victories. Although, within Beck’s own mind, such locations as Kashyyyk and Bespin were not true victories at all. They were enforcements. Statements at best. What Beck wanted was a manifesto of sorts. A chance to let the whole galaxy know where the Imperial Remnant stood on issues. But such a small act would have to be sufficient enough for the moment. Even as he looked out and could see the other Star Destroyers, the fleet seemed small to him. It was of course all masked by the fact that many had docked with the shipyard ring around Kuat already, but even then, Beck knew that the four Star Destroyers were the only ones. The rest of the fleet were smaller ships that would be far better suited to be deployed in support roles. Luckily, his own thoughts were interrupted by an officer bringing him tea as they waited for their turn to dock. “Inform the crew that they may have a temporary leave of their stations to go to the mess hall. We don’t want morale to get low.” After Beck gave the order, he took a sip of his tea as he continued to watch the fleet.

The Fiat Lux, Misericordia, Hand of Valour, Admiral Adripov, Consolatrix, and Animarum and jumped out of hyperspace over Kuat. All ships in need of refueling, and the Admiral Adripov in need of repairs. Admiral Beck Pilon stood at the viewport of the bridge of his command ship, Fiat Lux and stared out at the massive shipyard ring around the planet. His own breaths were slow and heavy. For some reason, this trip to Kuat seemed far less relaxing as it did when he first came here under the orders of his Empress. It felt like a homecoming of sorts, but there was something deep down that told him that he would soon despise this place. Part of it could just be that he had to leave the planet he had now fought over twice and only just won. Maybe once the ships are refueled and ready, I’ll request a transfer back to Bespin to maintain order there… It was a dumb thought, and one that even he knew he didn’t want. He felt lucky that the bridge officer walked up and interrupted his own thoughts. “Sir, All ships are accounted for. We also have reports that Eventuality of Justice and the Saeculorum have officially setup and have deployed their own troops to the surface in rotation with the ones that we left behind.” Beck gave a slight nod of his head and offered his hand for the datapad that he knew the officer held. Upon the movement, the officer placed the datapad within the Admiral’s hands and left him alone again. Beck took a single glance at it before putting it behind his back as he moved both hands there and began to stalk the bridge. “Have the Misericordia and the Consolatrix dock for refueling process. I want the Admiral Adripov to dock for repairs now. The rest of the ships are to take slow rotation in to begin their refueling. Until they dock, I want for them to keep the ships on patrol mode. The galaxy is still on edge. Also, send me a report on the Onderon situation." Battlegroup Thunder
  6. Beck cleaned himself up within his own quarters before he returned to the bridge of the Fiat Lux. As he re-entered the walkway bridge, reports were slowly coming in of the all of the personnel of Black Sun being officially done with the majority of the transfers back up to the cruisers to be taken back to the Imperial courts. As those reports came in, the Admiral moved to stand next to the Hutt. “This planet has become more then a pain in my ass Moff Dordjooba. But I will not likely let it stand alone to be taken so easily. I will leave the current 6,000 troops on the city to maintain some order and law until we can return.” Beck then turned towards the communications officer and flagged her down. “Inform the Eventuality of Justice and Saeculorum that they are to remain behind to watch over the planet. They may defend her as they see fit. The rest of Battle Group Thunder needs to prepare to return to Kuat. Our ships are in massive need of repair. We jump within the hour.” Beck then waited for the rest of the fleet to be ready to return to the shipyards of Kuat and the two ships he was leaving behind to remain in position to defend the newly acquired planet. He also left very special instructions for lieutenant Corduan that were highly encrypted so that no one could other than the two of them could read. After the hour passed, all ships designated to return to Kuat had jumped into hyperspace, leaving the gas planet behind. Only two ships remained to defend the new Imperial planet.
  7. Beck offered up a grin to no one as he heard from the communication officer that Black Sun had laid down their arms. There wasn’t too much of a choice for them really. Death would have come to the whole city had they chosen to keep fighting back as the Imperials had them completely outgunned. They only had one-real choice-so it was no surprise to Beck upon their surrender coming through the comm systems. Standing up from his chair, he put his drink down and began to walk off the bridge. His voice only giving out orders upon making it halfway through the walkway of the bridge. “Have all landing crafts move for the surface from both Fiat Lux and Misericordia. They are to take all Black Sun personnel into custody and transfer them to our fleet.” Beck gave a slight military salute to Dordjooba before he left the bridge. He would make sure that everything was settled for what they Imperial Remnant would need to house so many. Historically, Star-Destroyers rarely would bring on groups so large. They were more of the shoot first and ask questions and take prisoners later type of crafts. Not so much under the new regime. Because of it, they would follow a different procedure – NPL. New Planet Liberation protocols, which stated that upon liberating a new-found planet, to ensure security the majority of stormtroopers would stay behind to uphold marshal law until a Moff or something that was equivalent status could be put into place over the planet. Because of the damage dealt to the fleet, there was a need to refuel and recharge. Beck in the meantime also began to attempt to get in touch with Admiral Adripov to see if it was still operational to maneuver back to Kuat, or if it needed a tow from one or both Star-Destroyers. He also wanted to get word to Empress Raven on what their marching orders should be next. Until everything was lined up, he would await within his quarters. ***Cloud City*** On the surface of the city that floated amongst the clouds, the landing transports of both the Fiat Lux and Misericordia had their total number of 8000 troops land to begin to escort all Black Sun agents back to the transports to be taken up to their accompanying Star-Destroyers for the voyage to Kuat and eventually on to Carida to stand trial. Of some of those troops were 4 full squads of Beck’s personal commandos to help maintain order and law. The troops would stay behind, along with some smaller fleet vessels to provide support until better suited Imperial leadership could be established on the city. There were also instructions given to let the citizen's maintain their normal activities, but no one outside of Imperial personnel were allowed within the City's mainframe and general daily operations that could allow for a surge of rebellion take over.
  8. Beck watched with a grin from ear to ear as the planetary shield fell. Turning around to address his crew, he was very gleeful. "Let no one ever question the might of the Imperial Navy after today. Have all bomber and TIE squadrons on standby. Prep and warm up the cannons and open a channel to the surface." Beck gave a slightly wink in the direction of the Hutt who choose to remain in the background of his Star Destroyer. After the wink, he moved closer to the edge of the viewport ad snapped his finger at one of the deck officers. Once the channel was opened, he kept his calm, despite the fact that all he truly wanted to do was blast the damn city into oblivion. "This is Admiral Beck Pilon of the Imperial Navy. Your city is lost. I am giving you to rare opportunity to surrender now. If you surrender, all Black Sun personnel will be taken before the Imperial Courts to have their fate decided and the city of Cloud City will fall under Imperial leadership-where all civilian citizens will endure the prosperity of life. If you do not surrender, the bombardment of your city will commence. You have two minutes to decide your fate." Upon him finishing, the channel was cut from the Fiat Lux until the city was ready to decide their own fate. He then had the officer whom he snapped at bring a chair and a cup of caf to him as he sat down and awaited the decision of Black Sun. He then motioned for Dordjooba to move up towards the front of the bridge. After his wave to the Hutt, he took a massive sip from his caf and just awaited for everything to fall into place.
  9. “Legendary.” It was the single thing Beck said out loud after the ION canons brought down the Golan. It was almost as if he was finishing a sentence from a previous conversation that no one on the bridge knew about. Finally, he turned towards the crew and began to bark out orders. “Alright ladies and gentlemen, the annoyance of the Golan is down. Now the only thing that stands in our way is that damn shield… Let’s bring it down. Move our fleet into position over the Golan.” Beck began to walk back towards the mid point in the walkway of the pit bridge, where officers were working hard to make sure that the Fiat Lux would hold up against any return fire. As he reached midway, he turned around quickly and stared out at the Golan growing within the viewport. It was then he had an idea. “Have all of our ships use our tractorbeams to push that Golan into the planetary shield! All bombers need to begin a sequence to aid in the pressure. That shield must come down!” Beck now walked back towards the front of the bridge to watch to slow movement of the Imperial Remnant forces. This would be the day he gets revenge upon Black Sun for the failure he had here before. Upon that shield going down, the bombardment would commence of that horrid city. But for now, he watched as the tractorbeams began to push the Golan into the shield. Near the edge of all of the ships within the Imperial fleet, the TIE bombers prepared to race in and join the attempt to bring down the shield. This would be a day long remembered by Beck Pilon, Current Admiral of the Imperial Fleet. ((Killshot on the Planetary Shield/Golan))
  10. Beck watched from a tactical display screen as the Golan platform that Black Sun had stationed over this cursed planet began to make an attempt at protecting the city that floated like a bubble that needed to be popped. The shield that it helped to protect made his own anger rise up. The Fiat Lux would join the in parade of fire. "Open all ION cannons upon that blasted Golan. Send all TIE Defender squadrons and our J-983 Javelin squadrons to help make a push against it! I want it eliminated!" ((Killshot Assist on the Golan))
  11. Beck looked at the planet within the viewport of the Star Destroyer's bridge and smiled. The last time he was here, there was a storm of fire fights that he was able to manage against the planet. Now... He held much bigger guns within his corner. His vengeance would be swift and quick. This time, the Fiat Lux would be the planet's undoing. "Alert all commands. Prepare the fighters and ready the cannons. Make sure that my five squads of commandos are ready to make planet fall. There will be no surrender this time around. We will crush Black Sun where they stand." Beck watched as the TIE fighters began to launch from the hangar bay and begin their setup flight patterns. The small bomber squadron felt tiny to him, yet the amount of ships in space was far greater then what had he had ever witnessed before. His missions had always been small and relied more upon quick and fast entry. This time, it would be bombardment and the cruelest of hostile takeover. He was ready.
  12. Beck looked back to see an Imperial Knight arrive on the bridge to bring a prisoner to Empress Raven. He immediately took that as his signal to take his leave of the Misericordia and instead go to the Fiat Lux to command her for whatever Raven had planned. He quietly walked up near her and informed her in a soft tone that he could be found on the Fiat Lux as he would command her until further notice. He then gave a slight bow and turned to leave the bridge and head for his own ship, Heaven's Taint to take him to the other Star Destroyer. Upon arriving, he made his presence known to the bridge. "I am now taking command of the Fiat Lux, we need to make sure that we are ready for whatever the Empress will wish us to do. Check all systems, and alert all commands."
  13. Major Beck Pilon stood onboard the bridge of the Misericordia and looked out over the planet of Nar Shaddaa and all of it's hunger and lust for life that was obvious to anyone, including those that held no understanding of the Force. Beck stood with his own black cape hanging over his white dressed top and black pants and boots. His own face was one of pondering as he thought about what sort of urgency was given to the Head of State to have such a quick recall from everyone on the surface.
  14. Beck had received the comm from Head of State Raven Zinthos and felt annoyed rather quickly with her tone. Had she actually given real military instructions, none of the things she didn't want to happen on Bespin never would have. If she was going to hang that over his head for her own bad judgement of issuing orders, then she would eventually find that no one in the military or navy command will want to follow her. Luckily for her, he still had an itch for battle, and scouting was something all of the commandos trained under the Rebirth Project excelled at. After making all the necessary movements to get off the Glory of Carida and on the surface, he found himself being greeted by his own wing of commandos, Torpid Squad. "We've been given an assignment gentlemen. Let's make all the needed arrangements for our scouts to be sent to Nal Hutta. I want them to bring back full details on numbers, weak spots, strong spots, and anything else deemed important. I want to be able to know how long it will take and what sort of losses we can avoid. Operation White Helm is now in effect, and I want every military and navy personnel to be ready. Go and see to it now." Beck lifted his hand and dismissed the squad as he returned to his own quarters to hit the refresher and get cleaned. The Imperial Navy always held a standard for tidiness and precision. All officers should dress accordingly.
  15. Like darts hitting their mark, Beck stood upon the bridge of the Glory of Carida as they emerged from hyperspace over Carida. Along with the sister ship, Admiral Andripov and his own ship, Calloused Pride, the three made their presence known, broadcasting immediately to High Command of their arrival. The two Corona-Class Frigates began to drift away from each other, but took up a standard navy maneuver of planetary control. Beck gave out a few order to make sure that the ships began to prepare to have the Head of State and the upper Moffs and admirals board the ships. He also sent word to his own shuttle to land on the surface and to await orders from him.

    Kuat

Beck's shuttle arrived back over Kuat as the shipyard seemed to be bustling around with a bit more activity then when he had left. Having his ship touch down in the hangar reserved for him, he was met by Vosh Thinfin, the head engineer at the shipyard. He had a company of four stormtroopers with him, and he was beaming from ear to ear. "Major Pilon, the other two Corona-Class Frigates are now ready for delivery. I am having them fueled now and can be ready to leave within the hour." Beck made a slow acknowledgement of this, and turned towards ICT-4067 and gave him new orders for Torpid squadron. "Prep and refuel the Pride, your team will be personally responsible for taking it back to Carida." Turning back to Thinfinn, he now addressed him, but started to move towards the loading hangar for the ships. "I want them fully stocked for our Head of State. I think she has something special planned for them. No surprises should be waiting. When I leave with them within the hour, I want them fully battle ready. You may return to getting the Star Destroyer ring operational." Beck now lifted his hand and dismissed the engineer. He went to his own quarters and got dressed in his best uniform, and wanted to be ready to give a good presentation to Raven. After all was settled, Beck boarded the Glory of Carida and had it and Admiral Andripov, the sister ship, leaving Kuat space and heading for Carida.
  17. Beck helped get the Hand of Valour turned over to Commander Ansfelt Liu and he himself rejoined his commandos on his own shuttle, Calloused Pride. Upon arriving on his ship, he received word that Head of State Zinthos had left him a message. Upon hearing that he needed to bring back the fleet asap, Beck had his shuttle make the immediate jump back to Kuat. They would have the fleet over Carida within days now.
  18. The spiral of white and blue that was suddenly turned into a colorful projectile vomit as the Hand of Valour, a Shockwave Class Assault Frigate came out of hyperspace above the planet of Carida. Beck Pilon stood on the bridge and watched as the all too familiar planet grew larger within the viewport. Turning towards the crew, he gave his orders. "Send word to Head of State Zinthos that the first of her ships are ready. Also, have the Calloused Pride detach and await me to be picked up. There is no doubt that we will need to make a quick turn around to pick up the two Corona-Class Frigates that will undoubtedly be done by now." Beck turned his attention back to the planet and watched as his own ship detached from the Hand of Valour and began to use some exercise patterns. The flight from Kuat Shipyards was longer then it should have been, and by now, most of the crew were becoming desperate to have real food as opposed to the synthesized disgusting crap that came standard straight off the product line of any shipyard.

    Kuat

Beck sat behind his chair and watched a ship unload some of the construction parts needed to begin creating Star Destroyers again. It seemed rather odd to watch parts be loaded off on a somewhat hollow ring that had so much movement from other ships bustling all around it. The door suddenly buzzed and Thinfin walked in and gave a quick bow to Beck. "Sir, the first vessel that was requested, the Shockwave Class Assault Frigate has just been completed. The two Corona class frigates are still sometime away. Shall I send for Carida to send officers and additional crew?" "No, there is enough crew to operate her to arrive back at Carida. There is no need to put more worry upon our Head of State. Nasty business she's tied into with the death of the Jedi Grandmaster on our planet. I will deliver the Hand of Valour to the Imperial Fleet myself. Have my own Curich-Class shuttle, Calloused Pride transferred over to her, and I will take a temporary leave to bring our first vessel from this shipyard back home. That is all, you are dismissed." After Beck had dismissed Thinfin out of the office, he prepared everything that he would need, and alerted his commando unit to meet him at the docking ring for the maiden voyage of the Hand of Valour. After an hour had passed by, the ship made it slow leave from the shipyard and was in hyperspace within minutes after that, well on it's way to Carida...

    Kuat

Beck sat behind the desk that he was now calling his and read over some of the new ideas that Kaut Drive Yards had thought up for the TIE line of starfighters. They were interesting to say the least, yet they lacked enough purpose to see real duty if they were ever made. There was about five to seven new ideas, all of which had only been thought of and a prototype had been made within the past two years. Yet, the Star Destroyers which used to make the most efficient use of the time of engineers out here seemed wasted. He had just threw down the datapad when the door buzzed and opened. In walked Thinfin. He wore a smile that seemed to go from ear to ear. He wore the grey jumpsuit with black boots that almost ever Imperial Engineer wore. It annoyed Beck that he was smiling. "I have just received word that the Star Destroyer ring has just been reactivated and is now ready to receive parts to begin constructing them again." "Good. You can collect parts from the five prototype TIE fighters your engineers wasted time on. I've been here almost two weeks and I have YET to see a design for a Star Destroyer. The galaxy is changing and evolving Mr. Thinfin. You can't keep producing the same bullshit that Emperor Denton was so keen on using. HE LOST. It's time that we see some new features, new designs. I want our engineers working on a NEW Star Destroyer design, one that lets' the galaxy know that the Imperial Remnant is still around, and that we plan to have ourselves established in the galaxy as the dominant force. You now have a week to get me five new designs... Or else I'll learn how fast it takes for a body to get floated off this station and to the planets surface. You're dismissed." Beck returned to his monitor on his desk and began to read up on everything that was happening on the Holonet...
  21. Beck Pilon

    Kuat

Beck stared out the viewport of the curich-class shuttle as the starlings broke and fell into a still backdrop for the planet Kaut that now was the center of the viewport. The massive ring that was well known as the Drive Yards that orbited the planet held flickers of light against the green planet, but they stood out much more vividly against the purple and black of space that was all around. The amount of traffic was higher then expected when comparing it to Coruscant, but many of the ships seen were maintenance vehicles transporting crew from one part of the ring to another, or to the surface of the planet and back. Beck raised an eyebrow as he watched the traffic a bit before his own shuttle was now being escorted in by four TIE/ph Phantoms. As they brought his shuttle closer to the ring, Beck turned and had his Commando unit, Torpid, begin to prep for the landing as the rest of the crew would indeed do their job. As the shuttle landed, two members of Torpid walked down the ramp first, scanning the area, ignoring the host, as the wanted to make sure that the area was secure. After that, the four other members escorted Beck down the ramp upon reciting the all clear. There was a man standing there in the middle, surrounded by a good twelve stormtroopers. There was also a Neimoidian standing behind him as well. "My name is Vosh Thinfin, I am honored that the Remnant has decided to make an actu-" "Don't sound so honored, you've completely shut down almost all of our resources except for the TIE line. I'm here to make sure that this facility is in a position to crank out a fleet again." Beck walked past him, almost pushing him out of the way and started for the main hold. The rest of the company in the hangar moved just as quick to catch up to him. Almost as soon as he reached the hallway of the station, he started to bark out orders. "I have a request here from Head of State Raven Zinthos. You and me will be working very closely together to make sure that we get things delivered to her on time. You are no longer in command of the Drive Yard for the Imperial Remnant Mr. Thinfin. I am." Beck kept his pace and didn't slow down. He quickly made his way into the main office and started to look over things that he wanted to change to make things feel more like they did at any Imperial Navy base. Kurt would be no different. Vosh followed him in and awaited to be acknowledged, but he would end up waiting a long while, as Beck cared little about the man's need to please.
  22. Beck held nothing back as he was escorted out, letting our under his breath the very distinct words 'Some military leader you are', but didn't care if she heard it or not. Her anger towards him, which could have been justified had she had made the orders clear or made some way to verbalize how she wanted them to act. She did not, showing a red flag upon her leadership skills within the military and navy functions. But such was the way of an ignorant woman. Now, he had new orders that he could play around with. At Bespin, his orders were clear. Fight until there was nothing left. There was no room for surrender. If Black Sun did in fact have hostages, they deserved to die for forfeiting orders. Plus, he doubted very much that such a large scale of numbers were alive. Only eight hundred landed, and by the time he had reached the command center building and began their assault, over half were killed. They maybe had one hundred troopers to ransom, and even that was stretching it. But for now, he would travel to Kuat and build the fleet as the current Head of State requested. So he marched off, having the new batch of commando units under the training he setup to meet him at the hangar bay. There, the new squad was given it's name, Torpid, and the boarded a Curich-class shuttle and were off to Kuat. ((Edited to fix an auto-correct))
  23. Beck found himself getting dressed after having his clone awaken on Carida. He would have thought that such a spare would have been kept on Oovo IV, the imperial base where his batch of clones were created first. But since the base hasn't seen action since he left long ago, it was only natural to assume he was here due to a greater need... or activity. Either way, the Imperial Major got dressed and began to review within his own mind what exactly happened on Bespin, as in the moment, he really didn't give much thought into what he was doing. It was all whimsical for him to just engage in battle, as he had not done so in a very long time. Finally dressed in black boots, white pants, a black imperial officers shirt and his black cape, he marched himself down to Raven's office to report on what exactly had happened. Beck opened the doors to Head of State Raven Zinthos' office with a great impavid attitude. He began to speak, without giving any regards to the ugly looking throw pillow on the couch with her. "I have the most important and urgent news. Black Sun's facilities on Bespin have not been rendered out, as the city seemed strong enough to repel a star destroyer. Chances are that the forces there have moved away and could regroup with their other forces. I- OH, THAT THROW RUG MOVED." It was then that Beck realized it was a Wookiee. Not just any Wookiee, Kirlocca. The Jedi Master who was famous for doing massive damage against the Empire during the heydays of the war. Had he not looked so friendly and relaxed in the presence of the Head of State, Beck wold have shot him already. "My apologies Master Kirlocca. Here I am being all catawampus of sorts in the one Jedi who was worth the challenge. I'm Major Beck Pilon." Beck exnteded his arm for a handshake, but wasn't sure he would get it.
  24. The work that Black Star had accomplished was now coming to a fruition. They had not yet finished this scattering of cover cylinders, which were in fact, ION and EMP charges, all over near the reactor facility. They were linked with the computer spike, Black Death, which when it lost traction, either through being defeated or shut down, would act as the pin being pulled, having all 36 different charges go off from where they were. The commando unit were still holding their last ones together, but they had managed to get close enough to their objective that the large scale of the ION and EMP blast would still carry out it's purpose: To shut down power around the reactor. The blast threw all six members of their unit, ripping apart some of their armor, but not doing enough damage to harm to commandos themselves. Their death would come later... Rancor and Nexu heard the blast before they saw and felt the results. It took around 5 seconds before they felt it, the city, started a slow free fall as it lost it's power to the reactor and repulsors. Now the 12 man team knew that they had 30-60 seconds before power of the backups would kick in and restore power and keep the station from free falling. So upon hearing the blast, they left their cover and began to move towards the doors with all speed and hurriedness with a mission in mind. With their feet magnetized, they were able to keep their footing as they ran, unlike the Wing Guard which would now be lifted to the ceiling with the temporary free fall. By the time the commando units had entered the room, they had only 4 members left, losing 8 others and about fifteen seconds. They now had ten seconds to take out as many repulsors as they could, maybe more if the facility didn't operate like a military. Beck smiled wide as their level lost power. Almost immediately, he turned towards his two command units. "Turpitude, hold the back the coming storm. Malign, liquid cables. We're going for the head if Rancor and Nexu can't accomplish their mission in time." They turned towards the main turbolift with their own feet magnetized, and fired their cables up. With the city in free fall, Beck and Malign moved towards their own death, as the cables would speed them up too much and have them splatted all over the top of the tower, or arrive at their target just as the power would be restored, which would give them a chance at the surprise to destroy everyone who protected the administration level. They oddly also wipe out any and all databases. << Killshot on the ENTIRE Cloud City >>
  25. Black Star squad began to throw small cylinders upon reaching their target point. The cylinders were weightless, as a cylinder of of spices would weigh more. They stopped showing at the cameras on purpose, as they were trying to get caught. They were trying to have the enemy pick up their cylinders for them, they were trying to draw more troops in their direction. Meanwhile, Rancor and Nexu began to engage before the the main reactor area, trying to make a scene. They would throw grenades and detonators towards the doors and troops in a vain attempt to get them to move or to come closer to them. Their squads had the sole mission of waiting. They just needed to play hide and seek until Beck gave the signal that their time playing the ruse was over. Major Pilon felt slightly confident upon getting the report that the main control had fought against the spike Dormant. They also were converging on their location due to the Skyfall maneuver. It was just as he suspected they would. For Beck, it meant that he now controlled the board. In this game of dejarik now being played, he was making the moves that would win or lose the game. "Alright MC-07, link the Black Death spike and plug it in. Let's see what sort of fun we can have now. Turpitude, seal that door and make it hard to breach. The rest of Malign, set up protective cover. They will come in storming, but it will be too late. Signal for Rancor, Nexu, and Black Star to magnetize, I want this to be fun." "Major, Black Death is linked. Which system should I target?" "Target the main computer." Beck turned and watched the commandos prepare for the defense of the hall they were in. Now we wait...
