  1. The chaos that was ensuing was all worth it. Even with numbers against the Remnant, they knew they had to fight, and they knew that their training was far superior to their foes. It wasn't as far off as a naked eye might assume. Alpha, Beta, Zeta, and Omega kept their push forward, their skill sets were designed to keep the main opposing forces eyes upon them. They were back by a good two hundred to four hundred special forces that were pushing the frontline, their object would seem random to anyone untrained with commando techniques, which was where they were sure that Major Pilon was betting on. Each move was designed to cause damage to structures and buildings that held a high population. They would use rocket launchers, thermal detonators, EMPs, charges, and any other forms of damage that they had at their disposal while the special forces were to draw the crowd to them. It was a game of dejarik being played out on Cloud City. Rancor, Nexu, and Black Star were moving quickly and softly through halls, shooting like a team who have memorized their path well and knew the outcomes that were well on their way. Even when they turned the corner and had some heavier resistance, Black Star pulled out, separating and moving out a window to land street side to keep their movement steady. They held no special forces to back them up, and many of the officers left to do raids of their own. But their mission was a ruse. It was all apart of Pilon's grand scheme, which would help spread thin the forces they fought. Rancor and Nexu needed to find the main reactor, Black Star needed only to get within a hundred yards of the place to complete their mission. Beck marched down a hall along side Malign and Turpitude towards the Head Quarters. As they turned a corner, they found a mother and three small children. Beck had trained the commando units well. They opened fire and dropped the four bodies. Beck continued his march down the hall before stopping at a turbolift that would take them to the floor that would allow for them to begin to gain access to the main HQ. "Black Sun is no random fool. That floor will have some of the best of their troops waiting for us.... Let's see if we can't get them to come down to us. MC07, plug into the wall security. Send them bug Dormant and see if we can't piss them off. Turpitude, lets make things interesting. Skyfall maneuver." Beck took a step back and watched as his two personal commando units went to work to carry out his orders. The bug wouldn't do any damage, but it would piss someone off who doesn't like to watch screens flicker and cut in and out. It was an easy bug created by the Rebirth project, and used a few times to create an annoyance to opposing forces commando units would face. Plus, it was easy to send even in a very complicated security system. Skyfall maneuver on the other hand... Two EMP mine placed around the shaft of a turbolift always caused an entire floor to go dark and send a turbolift in a free fall leaving the means to reach said commando unit on their terms.
  2. Beck had the Clout Lord move more power to the shields and speed of the vessel as almost the entire corvette's compliment of commando brigade unit and two other special forces brigades gathered within the the main hangar hold of the Cutlass-class Cruiser. As the corvette began to take a massive beating, firing it own barrage of shots back into random points of the city, and along with the TIE's out swarming and drawing fire away as they were supposed to, Major Pilon began to have the many 600 plus troopers begin to drop out airborne style and create a landing zone for the Imperial force. Their time of taking the air was over. This was forfeit a while ago. They would begin to fight and take the surface until the other CoreSec Corvette arrived to assist them in air superiority. Beck knew that the TIE's would be lost, as would his own ship, the Clout Lord, but the objective was not keeping his ship. It was taking the city and wiping it clean of Black Sun. Slowly, all of the trooper began to follow the commandos who went first, and jump out of the ship. The Clout Lord was low enough to make this possible to not lose many forces, and angled just right to provide shielding from possible fire that could come their way. The TIE's were also swarming in such a pattern to keep the gunners focus on them, a noble sacrifice that would be worthy of mention in the victory today. Many of the senior officers joined him last as the last to jump to the surface. Once they hit the ground, Beck Pilon gave the Clout Lord it's final order. "Launch full speed at sector, oh-four-seven. Keep guns blazing, take out as many buildings as you can. Major Pilon out." Beck now turned and gave his hand motion to move forward, giving a loud shout along the way. "All launcher troopers, begin to fire at will and any buildings you can destroy. Commando units Alpha, Beta, Zeta, and Omega are to push forward. No prisoners, all engagements that are not Imperial or CoreSec are considered hostile. Civilians and children included. Commando units Rancor, Nexu, and Black Star are to go to the lower city and destroy the power to this floating abomination called a city. All special forces are to take out all buildings from within. Thermal detonators and mines work very well in closed spaces. The Imperial Remnant doesn't care about having any survivors. All must be destroyed. NOW MOVE!" Beck turned towards the last two commando units, Malign and Turpitude. "You are to come with me. We march on the headquarters. Let's move." With that, Beck and his compliment of 12 commandos moved as swiftly as they were able into the city's main structure. Staying above ground meant the turbo laser and fire could reach them. only the 24 commandos he assigned to move forward were to stay out, as they were some of the best trained commandos in the Imperial Navy. They would do their job and cause panic and chaos where they roamed. Although the men Beck walked with were personally trained by him under the same exercises he went through when he was first trained by KAIN as an Imperial Commando. These men knew the cost of losing meant their own death at a superiors hand. They would not fail him in reaching the headquarters of the city. Even now as they walked through the buildings, the ground began to shake and loud BOOM's were going off as launchers were being fired into buildings, thermal detonators and mines were going off taking buildings down. Black Sun choose to stand and fight, so they will pay for it. Even if the Remnant didn't win today, Black Sun would have all of their credits depleted in having to rebuild the place or call it a lose anyways. That would be the end goal for the Imperials today. Destruction and death to the max. ((No defense given. They did their job.)) *(Edited a wrong name post out to help avoid confusion down the road.)
  3. Major Pilon allowed for himself to asses the damages that were done, which were very minimal. There was maybe two turbo lasers down, and some minor hull damage. Now that that fight had started, Beck stood upon the bridge and watched for a slight three seconds before he decided upon what action needed to be done. With a loud and stern voice, he barked out orders. "Bring our shields to the max, ready our weapons again. I want us to provide full cover for everyone on the surface. All sets need to be focused on the far side to keep the enemy from retreating further back. Once our ship is above the city, all troops will drop airborne style to bring the full support. The TIE's may continue to make strafing runs and hitting whatever targets they deem needed to cause panic and chaos. And send word to our CoreSec corvette friend, they may make their jump to assist with more air support and supremacy." The second deck officer stood up and made it very clear he was in protest. "Head of State Raven Zinthos gave orders to take Black Sun presence off the planet, not take the whole facility and civilians out." Beck wasted no time, he pulled his blaster and swing and hit the officer with the butt of the weapon, hitting him hard enough to knock him to the floor. Once the general gasp was let out from everyone, Beck spoke. "I am not Zinthos. I am Major Pilon, and you are under my command. I deem it necessary to give such orders, and I will NOT have some officer challenge me in such a way. This is a warning to all. The next one gets me to pull the trigger. Now move and carry out MY orders!" Beck now turned, his black cape making a slight scene and he walked off the bridge and headed to the docking port, where he would join his forces on the ground.
  4. From the bridge of the Clout Lord, the senior deck officer took notice on his scanners of the all too familiar energy from turbo lasers and defend turrets being fired from the planet. He quickly caught Major Pilon before he was fully off the bridge. "Fire from the surface sir." Beck turned and gave a loud shout. "Don't just stand there, shields up, double up on the front deflector shields and have our own turbo lasers fire return. Pull us further away from their range." Major Pilon now began to walk towards the front view port of the Clout Lord as the first few shots left the atmosphere and headed his way. His eyes narrowed with a grin on his face. Black Sun had given him a reason to fight. This was the first many of those within the Remnant would begin to understand the reputation of Major Pilon. "Have our fire keep their fire at bay. Launch all TIE squadrons in Zeta-Omega patterns. They have permission to go to the surface and begin to fire. They may actual distract the gunners and eat of few of their shots." ((Defense Post))
  5. Beck was quickly informed of a communication coming from the facility on the planet to their ship. Upon hearing it, he turned towards an officer on the deck. "Are they serious? What good would a garrison do us here?" Beck felt some confusion rise within himself, but quickly thought of a good response. He turned to his communication officer and had them open a channel to the facility on the planet. "This is Corporal Major Pilon. Your offer intrigues me. But I also have order to remove Black Sun. Perhaps a deal can be struck here. I will land along with a few of my commandos so that we may meet?" "Send word to our new Lieutenant, have his shuttle await me. We will travel to the surface together and sort this mess out. If a single shot is fired off, I want that facility reduced to rubble within minutes. Spare no expense. If you have to have the Clout Lord rammed full speed at the facility, then do it. But wait my word if there is no shots fired."
  6. A single Cutlass-class Corvette blasted out of hyperspace above Bespin. The Clout Lord was a mark of Imperial superiority immediately within the system. Beck stood on the bridge and looked down at the planet from afar and knew this was about to be a fight. But one that would eventually cost the Imperial Remnant nothing in the long run. From here, they would begin the first Imperial strike at the heart of those who would oppose the new order. Turning towards the tactical officer, Beck spoke calmly before the crew. "Send the Sentinel-class landing craft with commandos down. I want us in position to begin some havoc with our turbo laser batteries, but not close enough to take any real damage. I'm willing to sacrifice our own accuracy in order to do this. The landing shuttle can have air support from our TIE squadron. Save our interceptors for later. Have the bombers on standby. I want to be in range to strike around the city before the commandos land. The Clout Lord should be the city's main concern. Not them." Beck turned around to watch the planet's orange surface grow ever so slowly before the viewport of the bridge. A smile like smirk came to Beck's face as the Clout Lord moved closer to the Black Sun held Cloud City...
  7. Beck simply smiled and nodded his head before responding. "Good, we'll be dropping out of hyperspace shortly. Head to the hangar and get with your team. Good luck Lieutenant Khargav." With that, Beck turns around and began to head back up to the bridge. He would lead from there until the commando units hit the surface. Once all that begins, he would jump on a landing shuttle and join the rest of the troops for deployment. He was itching for a fight and hadn't seen one in far too long. This was about to be good.
  8. Beck stood on the bridge and watched the starlines of hyperspace continue their tunnel around the Clout Lord as three of his captains that would lead in the coming battles spoke of their strategies to coordinate the destruction of the facilities that belonged to Black Sun on Cloud City at Bespin. After they finished their discussions, Corporal Major Pilon dismissed them and walked to see the Togorian sitting in the main dining hall. He walked up to him with a smile upon his face. "Lieutenant Khargav, we are getting ready to drop out of hyperspace over Bespin. We will have a hard drop landing with commandos as my T.I.E. Fighter wings provide air support to keep heavy weapons off them. You will be going with the commando units. Your goal is their mainframe. Intact if at all possible. But I will settle for it being completely wiped out if there is no other option. Two Platoons will be landing exactly 00:03 minutes after your hard drop. They will secure the rest of Black Sun's assets. Is that understood?"
  9. Beck gave a slight bow and then turned to leave. This would be fun for him. He had not had the chance in a long while to actively engage in combat since he was under Commander Kain. But now, he would have his opportunity to show his skills in combat again. Walking out of the room, he made a quick stop at his quarters to pick up his special armor to wear and any other weapons that he might deem necessary to help him win against Black Sun. He also sent an alert to have a team of his choosing ready and waiting for him upon his arrival. He then marched himself to the ship yard to board and meet up with the team had requested. There waiting for him was a Cutlass-class Corvette with the company of troops he had requested. Once they all were aboard, Beck had the ship up and heading for Kuat to meet up with CoreSec.
  10. Beck walked in and returned the smile to Head of State Zinthos. Once he took the center where he should stand, Zinthos gave him his next assignment. With a grin like smile, he moved his black cape off his shoulders. "Oh, Black Sun might have credits, but they have been seriously broken recently. A simple corvette class cruiser with the typical commando brigade should do the trick. Unless you want to clean house first try with no questions asked Ma'am..." Beck now stood with his arms behind his back and awaited the Head of State to address him again.
  11. Beck arrived at the command center and awaited to be beckoned in. He however did not arrive after a Jedi, who seemed to have a slight arrogance about her. As she walked in, Beck smiled and laughed to himself. He found it entertaining the thought of an Imperial Knight. But such was the way of the know-it-alls known as Force Users. For now, he turned his eyes away from the main door and ignored the loud voice of the Jedi in the room with the Head of State.
  12. Beck finished reading up the records he had requested during the meeting. He had a name to go by instead of a number. The main donor of the Rebirth Project had been Beck Pilon, who died about a month after volunteering to help create the clones. He had no relatives or surviving members of his line, so the clone once called IC - 2487 felt it right to take it as his own name. Walking out of his quarters, he could see traffic around the station, to which was no surprise. From rumors turned fact, the Moffs had been ordered to change the command in a few locations, and the Head of State had come back to Carida to make her plans for the future of the Imperial Remnant. Beck wasn't sure about her yet, only because he had only read about her. He had only known Kain as his superior, the one who had the rights to the Rebirth Project. Although, he was certain that such a man would have no place under the current leadership, Beck still wished he was around and available to talk to. But such a luxury was not afforded to him right now. For now, he needed new orders. So Beck began to march his way towards the command center.
  13. Eight-Seven and Theondel walked in and stood in the middle of a circle like room. Half the room held chairs upon a semi circle table that stood about four feet off the ground from the floor. Only three of the chairs were occupied at the moment. Upon getting into center position, Eight-Seven and Theondel both stood and placed their arms behind their back and awaited to be addressed. A man who looked to be in his fifties was at the center and seemed rather upset with something that was not present at the moment. A woman and a much younger man was on either side of him. After a a minutes and seven seconds the older man spoke. "A display of force for sure, and very unnecessary. You wasted a ton of ammunition and resources the level a temple that had no occupants. In my time you would have been placed on probation and grounded for a solid month..." A smile came to Theondel's face, but it was quickly drained of color. "Your smirk is also unnecessary Theondel. I am not I'm command here anymore. Replaced by those above me. They have granted Eight-Seven the rank of Commander and will be giving him a ship to command. As for this meeting, it's adjourned and I have to pack my bags because I don't agree with these new commanders of the Imperial Remnant." With that, the three stood up and left the room rather quickly. Theondel lingered for only three seconds more before he also got up and left leaving Eight-Seven in the room alone, until the same petty officer walked in and handed him over a key to his new room and the access codes he had requested. Not wanting or feeling like he should celebrate, he walked off into his own room and would begin to search for names of the donors for The Rebirth Project.
  14. As the Iron Fist docked with the station, Eight Seven and Captain Theondel walked off the Star Destroyer and headed for Command. The familiar sound of their boots on the floor seemed comforting to Eight Seven as they walked. However; Theondel's constant whining and complaining over the quick mission was not. He was rather upset with the way the entire thing went down and was letting the Imperial Commando hear it from the bridge of the Iron Fist, all the way back to the Command Deck on the Imperial station. As they walked, a petty officer approached and walked along side them, and not wasting time- began talking without waiting for Theondel to stop. "Compliments are given to your command on completing the task, although not from the garrison commander, as she was relieved of duty this morning at oh-seven hundred. Quarters have been assigned to you along with a request sheet if you wish to have it filled out before your briefing is done." Eight Seven kept walking as Theondel got quiet and listened in a bit more intently then what the Imperial Commando was comfortable with. "You may fill out a request for access to the records- I have need for them." He stopped as he approached the door, pinged himself in so that command would know he was here and waved off the petty officer. Captain Theondel now got quiet fully and had a grin on his face from ear to ear. Clearly the man thought he had a case to Court Marshal Eight Seven even after the mission was all over.
  15. Slowly and surely, the Iron Fist reentered it's normal position over the Imperial Base after it had finished it's mission on the other side of the planet. Quickly under orders from it's commander Eight Seven, the 24th Special Operations Brigade reported in that they had completed their mission to command. Eight Seven was not on the bridge but rather in the officers quarters freshening up and preparing for a new assignment. He had hoped that if he had followed orders correctly and did everything that was requested of him, he just may get to see more action.
  16. (( 3-daying this Temple)) Eight Seven watched as the probe went in towards the Temple. As the got in range and no turbo lasers shot at them, attempted to stop them, or even hailed them, Eight Seven turned towards Captain Theondel and smiled at him as he spoke his orders. "Give them full support. Warm up the long range turbo lasers, the squadrons have full permission to fire at will. Bring that thing down within five minutes." At the given order, the TIE Interceptors raced forward, opening fire upon the outer walls and spires that were sticking out, striking at any weak point on the structure. The TIEs also swarmed in giving support the the Interceptors, opening fire anywhere they saw fit. As the TIE Bombers arrived, the dropped a full payload over the main point of the Temple in a very well coordinated bombing run. From the deck of the Iron Fist, Eight Seven watched and admired they handiwork done upon the Temple, almost to a point where he thought that the whole thing deserved it's own music done by some famous composer. As the TIE squadrons finished up their runs, and the TIE Bombers ran out of their payloads, emptying their explosive weapons, Eight Seven recalled them back to the ship. Upon the Squadrons getting out of range, Eight Seven gave the orders for the long range turbo lasers to open fire upon the remaining standing points of the Temple. After six minutes and thirty three seconds passed from the first order, the Sith Temple lay in a smoking pile of rock and stones. "Send word to Command, the Sith Temple is no more. Now Captain Theondel, you may go with the compliment of Sentinel-class landing crafts and remove any survivors. My command should be well known for leaving none..."
  17. Eight-Seven watched from the viewport of an old Star Destroyer I named Iron Fist. It was a survivor of the very first Empire and was nearing the end of it's life of service. Eight-Seven doubted that it would see another battle after today maneuver. Looking at the Sith Temple in horizon, Eight-Seven smiled underneath his helmet and gave a quick order to his Brigade. "Send the TIE Bomber Squadron, two squadrons of TIE Fighters and one support group of TIE Interceptors to scout the place. If nothing fires at them upon them getting in range, they have full permission to open fire." The Imperial Commando then moved over to a deck officer on the bridge and gave him some orders. "If there is resistance, have our full compliment of Sentinel-class landing crafts peeped and ready to go, along with six AT-AT's." Eight-Seven moved back towards the center of the bridge to watch from the viewport as the senior officer of the Iron Fist came to stand next to him. "I don't think any of this is needed. I'm pretty sure the place has been abandoned. Why not just send a few landing craft in and call the place ours?" Eight-Seven turned and gave a look of disgust at the officer from behind his helmet. He was a man who had sat behind a desk and a useless war ship for far too long. Eight-Seven made a note to remember the mans rank and name. "My orders are to level the place. Therefore, I will level the place. If we fail our assignment, you can tell me you told me so. If not... I'll make sure you're held to a court martial Captain Theondel."
  18. The woman behind the desk looked at her display for a short few seconds before returning her attention back to Eight-Seven. She stood up, allowing for her rank to now show she would be the commanding officer at the station. She didn't wait for Silent Specter to salute her, she just began to address him. Eight-Seven saluted anyways. "I was just given a good assignment for you. The 42 Defense Battalion served well on Rhen Var, but it's time for you to take the control of the 24th Special Operations Brigade. We are sending you off to Königreich des Teufels. These orders come all the way from the top. Execute them right and there could be a promotion for you. Dismissed. " The woman sat down and returned to her work rather quickly. Eight-Seven could tell that the woman was glad to not fulfill the duty herself and seemed very proud of herself to have passed the task off. The commando didn't care. He wasn't even sure he was allowed to lead such a group, being only the rank of Major, but if he was given orders from a superior, he was trained better than to do anything other then to follow them. So he walked off, getting ready to prepare himself and get a Brigade ready for an engagement. Only a few hours had passed before he had arrived at his command post and the entire Brigade seemed ready to go and was expecting him. Clearly the commander of the Station wanted them off quickly. So with that, he made all haste to get them ready and then launched for his new assignment...
  19. The entire mini size fleet sent to Rhen Var to await orders to start a war had now come home after a three year long wait. Most of the crew on the Cutlass-class corvette by the name of The Forbearance, were especially restless and eager to get planet side again. While they all took turns in rotations from planet side to ship out at Rhen Var, it didn't feel comforting, and the long wait had made almost al of them nervous. As the ships all docked, either with the Naval Docking Facility or at the Imperial Academy that was called home by many of the active service Imperial Remnant, Eight-Seven did not get a chance to rest. He had to report in to Command and inform them of his anvil back with the 42nd Defense battalion. As he entered, there was a woman sitting at a desk who looked very confused as to why an Imperial Commando was standing in her office. Eight-Seven gave her a salute and then stood at the ready. He choose not to look at her directly and instead focused on two Imperial II-class Star Destroyers behind her practicing a drill of some sort. "Corporal Major Eight-Seven reporting in from assignment at Rhen Var. I have brought back the 42nd Defense battalion as requested." Now he just stood and awaited her response. He was hoping she would explain to him the recall, the reason no orders came while on assignment, and the reason for such a weird display of open space.
  20. The Forbearance and the remainder of the other two corvette size cruisers pulled out of hyperspace above the planet of Rhen Var. Their sole mission was simple: To defend against the incoming Bothan war hammer and keep them from advancing any further into the Imperial Remnant space. So that was what Eight-Seven was intending to do, along with his second in command, Tyren Tunwol. With any luck, General Karnek Vel'hen of the Bothan fleet would be bringing his own armies within their space within the next few days. Then the battle that Eight-Seven so desperately looked forward to would commence. ((This is a post to simbolize that within the next few days, I will be starting this "mini-war". Get Ready.))
  21. Eight-seven sat within the command bridge of The Forbearance, reading up on the coming defense deployment of Rhen Var. It seemed weird that Command would choose a planet with no ties anywhere as the place to setup a defense garrison, yet he could see some logic in the move. It just wasn't enough. Everything he was reading told him that he would be defending against the Bothan's and their fleets and landing parties. He looked up as a sound went off letting the bridge know that a new arrival was now with them. Captain Tyren Tunwol, a rather young Captain. Recently promoted to the role much in the same way the Eight-Seven was. He seemed far younger than what he really was, and his face was extremely readable. It held nerves and a bit of fear openly upon it. But it was all in good cause, after all, it was his first assignment. Looking down and away from the star streaking viewport, Eight-Seven returned to his reading of his could be opponent, General Karnek Vel'hen. He was the predecessor of Dirrm Gir’tey, and the now supposed leader that would lead this new rebellion against the 42nd Defense Battalion of the Imperial Navy. It would be a matchup worthy of the Galactic Archives...
  22. Eight-Seven was above Carida within a short flight from his last station. He only left the base due to a request at the high officials that still ranked within the Imperial Remnant that wasn't busy within the Galactic Alliance. He still held no clue as to why the request was even made for his redeployment to the Academy of Carida, but he had moved and was about to report in like a good solider would anyways. As he brought his ship down for a landing, he was still surprised to see that most of the structures were up and active despite the use of other training facilities used for the Galactic Alliance. Clearly, Carida still held closer to the Imperial mindset than what they lead others to believe. As he left the hangar bay area and was escorted to the main hall facility, he took note of a few AT-ST, 2 AT-AT, and one AT-TE's moving in the general direction of the hangar bays. Leaving the business of large equipment alone, he also noted that several cadets were being rushed around, almost as if they were preparing for some sort of large training drill. As he was escorted into a large room, there were a total of five men, all dressed in the Imperial White uniforms. They sat at a table that surrounded a smaller table, and the smaller table was clearly marked for him, as his two escorts dropped back and allowed for him to walk into the room by himself. The one man in the middle indicated for Eight-Seven to take a seat at the table. Almost before he did, Eight-Seven made sure he reported in first. "Imperial Commando Two-Four-Eight-Seven ready and reporting for duty." "Take a seat solider. We've been reviewing your file," Eight-Seven took note they they really didn't seem to care that he reported in or not, or that he was armed. They clearly wanted him seated, and ready to pick up his new assignment. So Eight-Seven did just that. "And we've come to the conclusion, that while under Admiral Jensen, you performed wonderfully, completing your mission beyond valor. Your service records are also clean. So in light of the new recent events that are taking place in the galaxy, we are giving you a command." A command? Of what? And what for? Eight-Seven wasn't sure how he should react to this, but given that it was a new assignment, he didn't really care. He would perform dutifully, as he always has. Just as he was trained to do. "You're being given command of the 42nd Defense battalion. Your mission will be to defend Imperial space from the coming rebellion. You are to report to the hangar bay and setup a defense garrison on Rhen Var." "This file contains all that you need to know, and the resources that are being given to you. If there are any new additions, you will be alerted in the same way you were summoned to active service. Good luck,... Corporal Major Eight-Seven." And with that, they stood up, and indicated for Eight-Seven to leave and head off for his new assignment. There wasn't much to say, so he saluted them and then turned and left, picking up the file that was given to him that held all of the information he would need on it. As he walked out, he found that his escort re-picked him back up and lead him all the way back towards the hangar bay. It was there that he now fully realized what was going on when he came in. All of the cadets were now being armored up and placed in a few ships, and the walkers had already made their resting place within the ships. It's not like he was being handed a fleet of any sorts. It was clear that his command Admirals thought it best to take the fight from ground unit to ground unit, as none of the ships were being loaded with any TIE Fighters or fighters of any sort. In fact, his ships were that of 3 Crusader-class corvettes, and 2 Cutlass-class corvettes. It wasn't going to do any sort of damage in space or air, but they were perfect for moving and transporting small defense garrisons, or in this case, three or four of them. EIGHt-seven choose to walk onto one ship, a Cutlass-class by the name of The Forbearance, and rode that ship as his main one for his journey to Rhen Var and his first real station within the Imperial Ranks...
  23. While though IC-2487 had been back on Oovo IV for a few months after his re-hit on Naboo, the solider found a way to keep up with his training and maintaining of his weapons until the Imperial Remnant would need his services again. Eight-Seven had not heard from Admiral Jensen in a long while and wondered his perhaps maybe his services would have been better of with his clone mates in duty stationed elsewhere. But his job wasn't to question orders or his purpose, so he prepared for the day when he would be used again. Luckily for him, War was coming upon the Imperial Remnant. Bothawui had withdrawn from the Galactic Alliance and was now trying to rally a few other systems to their cause in taking revenge upon the Imperial Remnant. While all of this information was not known to the clone commando, it was now known by those who were higher up in command. And it was them who sent to have Eight-Seven instated into active service work. The orders came through a single Imperial Agent who delivered the notice to Eight-Seven. Without taking a chance to read the notice twice, Eight-Seven moved for the hangar bay, as all of his weapons and armor were already upon him, and he boarded his ship, Heaven's Taint, and took off to report for active duty...
  24. Beck Pilon

    Naboo

Whether he was acting upon a battlefield where the enemy returned fire, or whether he was subtly taking out a single organism to remove a potential fight, Silent Specter was trained for all aspects of combat. Unlike before during his last visit to the planet, Eight-Seven understood that this time he could not leave the damage to dissipate over a few days. This time, he was here to take out the entire culture, all in the name of the Imperial Remnant. Not armed with much, the Imperial Commando was here to work on a mini form of terror, but to keep the public eyes off naming an actual subject of which they could blame. Poisson always seemed to be the best bet when it came to working around such difficult parameters. So the Clone Commando landed his ship further away from the city this time, as opposed to his last visit. He choose a spot closer near the swamps and waters, as his target would still be the water supply of Naboo. Without much this time around, with just a small dart filled with Synox and Dioxis. The dart in of itself wasn't very large, nor strong enough to kill more than one living organism. But the potency of it carried grater risks if exposed to water. He also had upon his ship, a vile of Dentriton toxin, just in case this plan didn't go well the first time through. Although even Eight-Seven knew that failure the first time around could and most likely would result in his own death, so the thought of using the other toxin was pushed aside. Climbing into a tree after leaving his ship behind, he found a good place to which he could snip out a target without being seen or heard. Carefully staking out his target, Eight-Seven waited upon a few hours before deciding to move. A Gungan, whom of which the galaxy would not care to know his name, was a curious one that was constant in and out of the water, almost as if he was searching for something. Not caring too much of what his purpose was, only that he was close enough, Eight-Seven fired the dart into the creature's next. Moving fast to get the poison to release into the water upon the Gungan falling into it, Eight-Seven moved fast through his training to lift his riffle and blast the creature's next. The shot was a difficult one, due to the fact that the creature was falling towards the mater, making the neck shot, a moving one. Luckily, it was Eight-Seven's best skill, and he did not miss this time around. He stood up within his sniper spot, which was only two small branches upon a tree. He allowed a few moments of triumph as he could clearly see the poison hit the water. Soon, within a matter of days, the Gungan's blood would mix with the water, spreading it faster than hyperspace, causing an entire meltdown of the planet. Specter was sure that the planet would be forced to call in the Galactic Alliance to come to their aid. And by the time anyone could locate the body of the Gungan, there would be no proof of who, or what killed the creature that would be blamed for the mass chaos that would soon consume the planet of Naboo. After his few moments of triumph passed, Eight-Seven made his way back towards his ship and took off, again out of the range of any sensors. The Silent Specter had hit Naboo again, and this time, the effects of his hit would be devastating, and would last months, if not years. He could now leave the system knowing that he fulfilled his mission for the Imperial Remnant.

    Naboo

Almost like a bad dream returning to a child, Silent Specter was back over Naboo for a second phase of his mission given to him by the High Command. Checking his scanners to see a full update on the planets surface, he could tell that no real commotion took place after his poisoning of the air, which was a great pity. If news was correct, and he assumed that it was, twenty-three deaths occurred over that time frame due to his act upon the planet. Apparently, that wasn't enough for anyone to really take notice. And his superiors wanted to get noticed. Deciding that something bigger needed to happen, Silent Specter was sent back to the planet with a mission of great effort to destroy Theed if at all possible. And that was where he stood now. Eight Seven would do his job and find a way to remove Theed from the planet. Carefully navigating the MRX-BR Pacifier scout vessel provided to him by the Imperial Remnant down towards the planets surface, Silent Specter was beginning to plan the mayhem he would have to ensue in order for his plan to work...
