  1. Rep continued his "attack", he kept spinning his blades as fast as he could but not trying to hit her. He was interested in what the padawan would do, she could try to stab or slash at him to stop his blades or she could get around to his backside where he was open to attack, when Trushaun decided to go for the direct method Rep slowed down his twirling sabers. The clash of two sabers reminded of his training with Xae, he had sparred a lot during his training which was why he decided to start with it for Trushaun's training; something that she could draw upon easily and know what to do in a sticky situation. The Kel Dor was much taller than the Fosh that stood before him so it was rather easy to push into her with his saber, he had sheer strength and a better angle to attack from. He knew that she was tired from using the Force and from running around fighting. He pulled back with his lightsaber, he threw his hand up to beckon her from fighting, he didn't need to get hit while instructing her on what to do next. "That was good, but before we move on we should cover some lightsaber basics. The most basic form of lightsaber combat relies on rendering your opponent incapable of fighting and not killing them. It's useful against multiple enemies, against one though you're better off using another one." He said as he displayed some of the movements with his blade. Rep closed his eyes and felt into the temple, he found a remote, and lifted it back to them while he continued talking. "So for some practice you're going to deflect shots from a training remote, boring but effective." He ripped a piece of cloth from his robe and tossed it to the padawan. "Put this on, you need to rely on the Force to effectively wield a lightsaber regardless of what form you're using." As he finished talking the training remote dropped into his hands, he fiddled with it for a moment to activate it. It levitated upwards and started shooting, Reptilia made his way out of the clearing for Trushaun to have enough space to practice.
  2. Rep watched as Trushaun recovered from the attack, he was pleased to see that she was letting the Force guide her and that she was able to realize its importance. The Force came easy to her, at least that's how it appeared, she could command it so easily for someone inexperienced with it. On cue however his padawan started another attack, this one not as direct and much more thought out than the one before. Rep waited for the bubble of energy to reach him, as it did he leaped upwards using the Force to augment his jump. He landed behind his padawan, he grabbed his hilt, activated it. A green blade erupted from the side, he swung it around in front of him and dropped down into his opening stance, he held out the saber while using the Force to activate the button on the other side which made the other blade shoot out. The Jedi knight stared at his apprentice, eying her stance and how she held her saber. "If you want to fight with blades then I will as well. Don't worry though, I set the dial down so it won't chop a limb off if it makes contact with you." Reptilia swiftly ran towards Trushaun, he was strafing as he went so it was hard for to guess where he was going to attack from. He dived to her side while planting his hand down, he used the momentum from his running to simply push him behind her. He turned into her while spinning his saber in a fan-like motion, creating a offensive shield type attack.
  3. The padawan decided to charge him as he had expected, she wasn't well versed in lightsaber combat and that was probably the best choice for someone with little experience with a strange weapon like the training saber. He noticed however that she was using the saber with a reverse grip, an intriguing technique for a beginner. The way she was holding the blade informed Rep that she would most likely be attacking with a wide sweep, he took note of it as he closed his eyes. Should I? ... I should. He pressed his hands together and channeled the Force through him into his palms. A small orb formed which separated his hands as it grew, he didn't have much time to charge the attack as Trushaun was nearing so it wasn't as potent as it could be. As a sharp breeze rippled his robes he took his hands and pushed them to the ground, the ball of light quickly followed. Rep cartwheeled away as it exploded, the explosion was harmless but overwhelmingly bright. The technique was one of Reptilia's own creations, one he came up with as a padawan while training on Haruun Kal, where it proved useless against the Sith... As Rep landed he turned to Trushaun, hoping that she had learned not to be so rash and to trust the Force more. "You still haven't hit me!" He called out jokingly even though the drill still wasn't over.
  4. Reptilia wasn't expecting a droid to communicate for the padawan but shook off the new information, it was new to him but not completely unheard of. "I am Rep Til, a Jedi Knight as you probably know." He said as he gave a slight bow. "I take it you wish to learn how to harness the Force as you followed me from the classroom. I want to start off with a small drill, something to warm up." The Kel Dor reached onto his belt grabbing the two training sabers from it. He looked down at them for a second, remembering how and when he had received them when he was a padawan. He then tossed them to Trushaun, he then looked at her once again. "I want you to use one of those sabers, whichever you prefer, to hit me. Doesn't matter where or how. Remember why you're doing this though, that might come in handy." ((Just to get used to posting with each other.))
  5. The Kel Dor continued walking, he made his way down the long hallway with a stride. He stopped though, turned around and flicked his head to tell the Fosh to follow. He made his way outside, hoping to start training as soon as possible, he was as excited as he was when he started his training. A cool breeze blew though the clearing that Reptilia had picked, a forest surrounded them in all directions. A river ran down the side of it, the current wasn't strong but it still made a peaceful sound as it rushed past some rocks. He leaned against a rock that was about waist high on him. He waited for the padawan to catch up, having no clue on how to proceed he used the time to think of a training exercise for her to do. He knew that the initial training is some the most important training as it lays a foundation for future, crucial training later on. This should be interesting...
  6. The newly appointed Knight thought for a moment before observing the initiates in the room. He reached out with the Force to survey them as they trained, most of them held a natural affinity to the Force. He decided on which one would be the best match as a padawan to him and walked out of the room. As his foot stepped out of the training room he pressed up against the wall, he closed his eyes and concentrated. He reached out, twisting and turning until he found the one called Trushaun, a slight tap on her shoulder would indicate her to slip out into the hallway. Reptilia could have just asked her to follow him but he thought this was a bit more creative.
  7. Reptilia dropped to his knee as Kirlocca withdrew his lightsaber, he stayed quiet and still. As the ritual was competed he stood back up, he bowed to the Wookie once again. He owed a lot to Kirlocca, his initial training and with sending him to Aracoun Morion where he learned what it meant to be a Jedi. The Kel Dor looked around the room at everyone who was training or just hanging around, the Force was flowing through the room strongly. "Master, who should I take as my padawan?" The question was an important one, there were a couple of initiates just in that room and depending on who he was assigned would change both of their lives.
  8. "Master, I'd be honored!" He exclaimed, to hear such a compliment from an esteemed Jedi master was an accomplishment for Rep. "What needs to be done then?" He continued, he calmed himself down. It was a great honor to be knighted but he needed to be mature about it, he was a Jedi after all, and he needn't get too excited. He found himself standing taller as he waited for a response, maybe it was pride, maybe it was the ache in his back but he felt pumped.
  9. Reptilia wore a surprised look on his face, he wasn't prepared for what Kirlocca had to say. It was a weird situation, after being away for so long he was being offered to train a padawan? He still technically was a padawan himself, though his master had disappeared after the death her fiance. The Kel Dor thought for a moment before speaking. "Master Kirlocca, I'm honored. But I'm afraid I can't do that, I haven't been knighted yet." The words that escaped his mouth seemed rushed, he continued on however. "I could help train some of them, though as I have nothing else to do."
  10. Reptilia stepped off of the transport ship into the hangar of the temple, he was anxious to get back to where his Jedi career began. It had been awhile but the planet felt familiar even if the temple had been reconstructed after an unfortunate demise. He strode through the halls with an aura of calmness emitting from him, his robe blew slightly in the wind coming from a nearby window. His hands were neatly by his side, he was unsure of what do with them as always. He felt a familiar presence in the structure and followed the trail, it was nice to be around people he knew or even people in general after being alone for so long. His senses tingled, he knew it must of been because of all of the hopefuls and padawans who were accessing the Force or just the sheer amount of Force-sensitive people in one area. Rep came to a room with a few people training, doing the same drills that he himself had done when he was in their position. He trotted around them, making sure not get hit by anything, and made his way to the tall, hairy Wookie in the room. He bowed before the Jedi, showing his respect for the master. "Master Kirlocca, is there anything that you need done?" He asked hopefully, he wanted to do something almost as repentance for him leaving the order.
  11. The Bible is pretty good but I think it was missing a certain finesse only Kayne could bring.

Darkness Reptilia was consumed by darkness. Was it his imagination? Did he hit his head? Was he hallucinating? Or did he die? The circumstances were unknown but he knew he needed to escape. He tried finding an exit but couldn't even find a wall or barrier, it seemed to be endless. He tried to yell for help but he didn't get an answer. In the end after exhausting any and all resources he concluded that it was hopeless and collapsed onto the ground. The familiar voice or more accurately-shriek echoed around the Kel Dor who jumped upwards to his feet as a response. He spun around defensively, trying to find the source of the voice. Visibility was nil, he relied on his other senses to distinguish where the danger was. He realized however that his attempts were futile, it was impossible to find something created of darkness hidden in darkness. He then decided to ask a question to the being. "Where am I?" Silence. "Where am I?" He repeated. Reptilia opened his eyes, he was in the pains of Naboo again. Was he going insane? Did he lose his mind? That's when he got his answer because in front of him stood... him. The other Reptilia walked towards him, he was different yet the same. As he approached he grabbed something from the ground and the last thing Reptilia saw was himself swinging something towards him. ((OOC:I'm bored, I'm making him schizophrenic for now. This post would have been better if I possessed the necessary writing talent and skills to pull it off but I don't.))

Reptilia woke up as the sun kissed his skin, a breeze rolled in and rippled his clothes. He sat up and grabbed his robes pulling them in closely as he kicked some dirt onto the smoldering embers of the fire that once was. His mind was lighter than it had been the previous day, he didn't remember his troubles and was free for the time being. His muscles ached as he stood up, he has been walking most of the time and after not moving for awhile they got a little stiff. "Here comes the sun, it feels like years since it's been here." He mumbled to himself as he stretched out his legs. After a few minutes of committing his muscles to move he was on his way. The day grew longer as he hiked, in the solitude his mind wandered and awoke forgotten memories which was beginning to become a routine for him. The rain poured down, pelting the Kel Dor as he trekked through the plains. His hood was heavy on his head and neck as it soaked in the rain. His robes were also bogged down form the excess weight. The only thing he could think of was the cold and his shivering body. He still had miles to go and the only thing that kept him going was the though of a soft, warm bed that he could collapse on when he made it to the outpost. A feint light was barely visible on the horizon and was the best thing he had scene that day. At that moment when he noticed the light a voice ringed out around him, it didn't say anything but whispered almost nonsense, Rep jerked his head around to see who it had came from. He couldn't make anything out through the downpour and shrugged it off as nothing but sped up his pace. The voice pierced through him once again. "I know you're still there because you're scared that you'll lose everybody." A shadowy figure morphed up from the ground, its figure was distorted, its robe was as black as night, its face was absent and replaced by darkness. "Who are you?" Rep shrieked as he stepped away from the being, he slipped on some mud and fell backwards. The robed creature slowly approached him. "I know you're still there because you're scared that you'll lose everything." It looked down at the squirming sentient, its menacing figure was towering over him. Reptilia was suddenly immobilized by fear. "What are you?" He screamed upwards. He was shielding himself with his arm, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. The figure slowly dissolved back into the ground, Rep stumbled to his feet and started walking back again but after every few steps he would look back expecting to see the thing there. The memory swirled back into reality, Rep had woken up from one of his trips and shook his head. He needed to figure why that it kept happening and more frequently than ever. The illusion did bring up the question though, what was that thing? That wasn't the only time it had 'visited' him before but was the first. Rep was getting angry, another question but not another answer. That was the pattern for him and he didn't like it. Why do I never get any answers? That's when his anger hit the boiling point, his blood pressure sky rocketed and he was contemplating what he should do. He saw a tree and decided. Bringing the air around him into one concentrated ball he launched it at it, letting out all of his anger with it and a loud scream. As he looked up he saw the tree landing a distance away, he didn't know how to feel about what he just did. He was letting his anger get the best of him, he was no better than the Sith and he hated Sith...a lot. ((I had music going while I wrote this and that's where the song references came from, I'm not trying to plagiarize or anything nor am I that clever to come up with those lines.))

Background: A troubled childhood, his father was murdered in front of him by a Sith when he was young and was forced to live with his mother. One night his mother was arrested by Imperials, in the struggle Reptilia accidentally killed one of the men and was stained by his blood. He had to struggle to survive and often times worked for crime bosses to get by. In his teenage years he joined a mercenary group and on one of there jobs they had to kill a Krayt dragon, Reptilia was the only one to survive and form that moment on decided to take control of his life. A few years after he searched for the Jedi and found them. He was put into a classroom with a few other Jedi hopefuls, Galen, Roene and Aira who would later be paired with him on a training exercise. While in the classroom a terrorist group crashed a ship into the Temple right as Rep asked a question he searched an answer to for years. He helped as many people out of the temple as possible while it was crumbling. At that point the hopefuls were sent to the Rebellion's base on Gala where he spent a few days learning of the Force. It was here where he was sent to Aracoun Morion to learn of the Force with his fellow hopefuls. He found a lightsaber crystal here after a battle with a Force imbued Golem. When he returned he was transferred to Helix station. It was on Helix where he was taught the basics of lightsaber combat and where he was selected by Xae to be her padawan along with Dredik Estad. After a few canceled missions the group met up with Hartel's padawan, Sanj-Misavj. Rep became friends with the padawan after numerous sparring matches with him. While on Haruun Kal Rep witnessed Hartel's death by the hands of a Sith after his own failed attempt at killing said Sith. He managed to escape the situations with a few burns. Reptilia fled the Jedi after his failure to save one of their own. After a long time away from the order he finally decided to return. While away from the order he trained and battled his inner demons. He committed a few crimes when he seemed to have lost control of himself. His conscious is still heavy from the guilt but he has gotten past it somewhat. He was knighted by his first instructor, Kirlocca, so he could train Trushaun as his padawan.

Reptilia kept walking, he had no direction, he just walked. His course was random, sometimes he turned and sometimes he kept going even if it meant scaling a cliff or other obstacle, he didn't even realize what he was doing as he was lost in thought. He had things he needed to work over in his mind and walking helped center things for him. Where should I go? What should I do? Should I go back? He knew he wanted to get stronger, everyone wants that but he wanted to get stronger. Not just physically but he wanted to be able to lift buildings with his mind and makes things implode by thinking about it, things impossible to most people but he knew he could do it if he put enough of his heart and soul into learning about the Force, he would devote his life to it if it meant a greater understanding of why everything happened why it did. A question that played with his head quite often was what was his role in the gran scheme of things? Was he supposed to vanquish a great evil? was he supposed to uncover a grave secret? Or perhaps he was supposed to save a child's life who would grow up to accomplish something great and fulfill his role in the Galaxy. A deep feeling of emptiness washed over him, he hadn't done anything in his life but coexist with every other being in the Galaxy, he hadn't succeeded in anything, he had a chance though, to save Hartel's life but failed and his Master's fiance suffered for it. Guilt. That was part of the feeling, he should have been faster, smarter and all around better and a meaningless death would have been prevented. He came across a hill top, it overlooked a river that ran downward. The faint sound of rushing of water could be heard, Rep let it sink into him, though him. He had sat down, he needed to rest as he had been walking for hours and the strain had finally gotten to him, he was lucky enough to collapse of exhaustion at such a beautiful spot. "What should I do?" The question had resurfaced, the Kel Dor was troubled and he needed guidance but he didn't know where he would receive it. Soon night had fallen, the orange tint of a fire was glowing on Rep's skin. His eyes were closed letting the crackling of the fire put him to sleep. Click, crack, click.
  16. Wow, you totally didn't get the joke. But I don't plan at all, it comes to me but my stories suck so...
  17. Planning is for fuzz nuts, come up with it as you go like the Obama administration.
  18. Leroy Jenkins it and get in there as fast as possible.

The ship landed in a dark hangar, Rep walked off the ship and towards the door. He knew he had to visit somewhere before he could do anything else, he started sprinting for some reason. He came to a clearing, a few trees were scattered around but were scarce. An eerie shadow was cast on him as he stood cold in his steps, a dark feeling fell upon him as the memory came back to him. His father, he died protecting him and he knew it. Everyone who ever cared about him or someone close to him died, he wasn't going to let it happen anymore, he wasn't going to let anyone get close to him. He got away from the clearing as fast as he could, he didn't like the feeling of death. He knew that if he got stronger he could get revenge on the ones who had taken people away from them. That moment he pledged to himself that he wouldn't let anyone get the best of him, he would get stronger and no one would stop him. He looked up at the sun, it was starting to set and the orange glow illuminated it out enough for him to sprint down the hill, it wasn't and ordinary sprint but one with assistance from the Force. As he neared the edge of the lake he dived in and like a rocket he shot through the water, he kept his body straight except when to turn which he would arch his back a little. He swam to the bottom the lake, for some reason he stayed there for awhile, he jumped up and propelled himself out of the water and landed in the shallow water. He shook his robes and stepped onto dry land, he had no clue why he jumped into the lake, maybe it was symbolic like it washing off his weaknesses but it didn't matter because he was determined either way.
  20. Reptilia walked around to calm his nerves, there wasn't much to think about as he already was angry at himself and his mind was clouded. He felt so many things but he didn't know what to do, the Jedi weren't helping him and for that matter no one else was. What was the point of becoming a Jedi if they didn't do anything? Throughout his entire Jedi career he had been on one mission which had been called off shortly after it begun. He realized he had made his way out of the temple, maybe it was his subconscious telling him to leave and that's what he did. He kept walking, he didn't know where he was going but he knew he needed to go. On his trek he came across a small space port which he decided was the best way to go. He handed over the rest of his credits for the transport and boarded a ship, he didn't know where it would take him but that's what made it so interesting. ((It's been three days so I am posting again. I don't know if I'm leaving the Jedi yet but I'll be on leave for now.))
  21. The Kel Dor nodded at the newcomer's arrival and turned back to Kautra. Reptilia bowed to the Jedi and obeyed and limped off to the medical bay. When he got their he laid down on a table with his back up and let the professionals take over. It was mildly painful as they fixed his back up but he knew it was necessary. The padawan cleared his mind and meditated to escape the pain, a vision from his childhood entered his mind. It was one that he wished to forget and he had succeeded in forgetting it for years until that very moment. The small apartment that he used to call home was very dark, he awoke because of muffled sounds coming from another room. He stood up and slowly made his way over, as he did so he could here his mother's voice more distinct and he also heard the voices of strange men. As he entered the room he could see three men in white armor "escorting" his mother out of the apartment and her struggling. He walked backwards a few steps and knocked over a vase as he did so. One of the troopers went to find the source of the problem. Reptilia was scared and he ran to the dresser where a blaster was kept, he hadn't shot one before but he knew he had to protect his mother. He was grabbed by the man and he kicked and screamed, he was being carried back to the others when he squeezed the trigger and shot the man in the chest effectively killing him. When the troopers heard the shot they hurried up and dragged his mother out of the apartment, her screams sent shivers down the young boy's spine as he collapsed onto the floor and started to sob. Both of his parents were gone, he was all alone. The memory deteriorated and Rep was laying on the table, his back was fixed up. He felt angry for some reason, the memory happened years ago and there was nothing he could do but he still felt responsible. He stood up started walking, he wasn't sure if he was doing the right thing. He wasn't fit to be a Jedi but he was still learning to be one, why? Why, Jedi are supposed to be strong enough to save the ones around them but he wasn't, his mother, his father and now Hartel. (Edited because Master P-Nut posted before me.)
  22. The battle had ended and Rep was relieved, he had been watching on one of the security terminals, the Sith had been silenced and the temple was safe. The now standing Reptilia started limping towards the Jedi, he wanted to see if he could help with anything. The journey to him wasn't a long one but it was a slow moving one as he limped over using the walls as a crutch. When he entered the room with Kautra in it he bowed and stepped closer. "What should we do now?" He asked with a couple coughs following it, the smoke had gotten into his system which was something he hadn't felt before. He needed to get checked by a medical droid because he had burns on his back and had breathed in smoke. (I can help with any rebuilding that needs to be done, I have nothing else to do.)
