  1. Delta extended his hand to the new comer, "Hello sir, as Miss.." Delta searched his memory for the right name...."Armenia has said, I did indeed fight in the Clone Wars, though the story on how I survived is a long and probably boring one....if you have the time I could tell it to you, but otherwise I would advise that we continue in our explorations first." Delta followed the others into the dark jungle. As he walked he slowly fell out of line and found himself walking beside the other newcomer Vesper. Delta quickly scanned him again with his eyes, thankfully it didn't appear that he would cause more trouble. But seemingly that he also was not a force user, Delta thought it would be good to at least talk to the man...plus there was something else about Vesper...there was just something about him that he recognized...perhaps his father had fought with Delta? Who knows, perhaps it was the way he carried himself. "Did your father or grandfather fight in the clone wars? Sorry for the intrusion, it just seems that there is something I recognize about you..." Delta felt embarrassed asking but he knew it was probably for the better, but who knew Vesper could be the desendent of someone Delta knew.
  2. Delta gestured towards Arlan, and he walked after the rest towards the boarding ramp. "So tell me friend, what made you want to become a Jedi?" Delta thought back to his experiences with the Jedi, from the Clone Wars, all the way until his duels with Sith. All together the Jedi had made a far better impression, even if some of them belived in fairy tales about 'chaos gods' or the like. Hell, those were stories told to scare the new clones about the dangers of the galaxy. He made his way past more of the freaky floating corpses, then came upon the rear of the group. He was in a good position for covering fire, lest something went wrong...heck, it seemed that even another Jedi had joined their group. It felt sort of awkward being one of the few non force users in the group...
  3. A weight seemed to lift from Delta's shoulders as the conflict came to a close, he looked to his hands and found that they were shaking. It was the aftereffects of the adrenaline dump his body had forced on him when the moment of conflict had neared. Now the adrenaline was effecting him more than usual. He hadn't really felt these bad of effects since his first real engagement during the Clone Wars. Delta scanned the rotting corpses then motioned for them to exit the ship. "Well...I would suggest getting off the ship and regrouping in the sunlight. So we can make track of anything. And find a way off this place." Delta looked around to those who had expressed interest in the Planet. "So tell me what and why are we here? If the chaos gods have returned this would sure be the best place for them." At this he looked at Armiena and laughed, "though I doubt old wives tales would return any time soon..."
  4. That was a great story Ben, very intriguing. I love how it was made in messenger format. Great Job!
  5. Great job Vaderman, I really enjoyed this one, loved the Johnny Cash stuff, to tell the truth I lol'd. Very good stuff man, looking forward to more!
  6. Delta stayed silent as he had already said his due...but he lowered his weapons enough to look more hospitable. He slowly stood and walked beside Arlan and got himself a closer look at this strange man, there was something familiar about him but Delta didn't know what it could possibly be. perhaps it was the way he carried himself...but his feature s where not anything he recognized. perhaps he had seen him in passing somewhere. Delta looked over to Arlan and the rest of the Jedi, they probably knew far more about this place than he did...
  7. Faint blaster fire sounded in the back of Delta's skull. It could be an enemy, but more likely it was another hallucination...so Delta chalked it off to another trick that his mind was playing on him. A voice sounded from behind Arlan and himself, a man's voice, strange and disembodied, yet it sounded far more real and....there was something else that came to mind when he heard the voice...something strange almost familiar. But at the same time not. He spun around when Arlan's master responded to the voices. This was no hallucination. Delta dropped into a firing position and aimed at the distant darkened figures. There seemed to be 3 of them, with their obvious leader at the front of the formation. Delta aimed the E-11 at their leader, and motioned for Arlan to take cover. If this got into a fight...well...he looked like he had the best chance of running away and surviving whatever journey would lie ahead for him. Delta took the initiative and answered the query, "My name is Delta Seventy-three. I work for Black Sun sent personally by Smash to work with the honorable Jedi upon this mission, and I mean you no harm sir...however I would advise you to stow your weapons until after we figure out where we are....then by all means let us fight!" Delta however did not lower his own blaster, and he would fire on Vesper if he should make an aggressive move...
  8. Delta slowly followed Arlan on his way past corpses towards his master. Another scream echoed through his comm system built in his helmet.More cries of death echoing from his forgotten past. Delta's shin guard hit something on the ground and he tripped, right into the rotting entrails of a dead businessman. He struggled to move, and hands grabbed his legs, Delta struggled to grab his blaster, and out of the shadows a looming head appeared. In the odd light filtering through his helmet it appeared to be his other Jedi Commander....then the hands grabbing him shoved his struggling body towards the exit hatch. Delta almost ran past Arlan on his way out, the hidden fears eating away at his courage. When he hit the boarding ramp, he halted his sprint, and looked down at himself, his armour was covered in blood and rotting flesh. Not fun, he shivered slightly even though he was warm, there seemed to be a radiating darkness, embodied as cold clutching at his very soul. He lowered his blasters at the exit ramp and waited for the rest of the team to appear...

Delta saluted Arlan and followed him into the corridor, Delta's head still ached , and it felt like his skull was about to crack open. Perhaps it was the smell, or perhaps it was another vision. As they walked a small blue-glowing figure walked beside them. It was his old general...crap...it was another force-vision. Delta continued to walk beside Arlan and he stopped to hear what Arlan's master had to say. It was nothing serious, but now the master was having visions as well, and that meant no-one was safe...

Delta put his hand against his head, and leaned heavily upon one of the nearby support beams. His head and mind swirled...he almost collapsed. He steadied himself then stood straight again. "Arlan, your mas...the General has not come up to the bridge yet...is that a problem?" Delta slung his blaster across his back, then walked abck towards Arlan. He looked at the planet name again, He had never heard of this planet before. And he had the sinking feeling that this wasn't a contest, and more like a very dangerous mission. Oh well, he had been on many before. Another corpse twitched, and Delta grabbed his rifle. He was extremely tense, and he did not like that. "Commander Arlan, is there anything you can do to halt these hallucinations...I have no experiences dealing with the force..." (Sorry about the delay, Finals...yuck) Delta completely trusted the Jedi padawan, and perhaps after this ordeal was finished, they would all remain allies and friends. War and suffering brought the strangest groups of people together....

Delta watched as Arlan walked off toward the bridge. He had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach as the padawan walked off into the shadows. Delta looked to Armenia then back to the disappearing Arlan. He decided to follow the Padawan, it was something the Clone Wars had engrained into him. When a Jedi was sent on a special mission by his master it was better to accompany him. The master could usually fend for him or herself, and a Jedi in training usually appreciated the assistance from a Non-force-user. Plus they were not as frivolous with the lives of their friends/troops. It was something about the Jedi, the older they got, the less attached they became to those around them. So”¦Delta decided to follow the caring padawan. Arlan was still In front of him as Delta groucho-walked through the corridors, a method of walking taught in the commando academy, allowing the commando to fire his gun accurately from an almost run. He stepped over the threshold of a blown-open door, he saw a distant blue glow in the distance, so he went towards it. His comm buzzed again, causing Delta's heart to leap into his throat again. Before anything else strange could happen Delta took his helmet off and sat it on one of the still standing tables. A scream echoed from his helmet. Again! Delta turned towards Arlan, ”œSorry about the noise General, my helmet comm must be malfunctioning.”

Delta started at Armiena's answer, so he was on a ship....the camp sight faded from his mind as the Jedi stood...and pulled a blaster and short lightsabre from her belt. Delta retrieved his own blaster, and followed the Jedi towards the bridge. He retrieved his helmet from the clutches of a corpse. He pulled and the hand parted from the corpse, still attached to Delta's helmet. Delta was rather disgusted, but he was already falling behind the brisk pace that the Jedi had set, so he simply put his helmet on with the hand still attached. A little gross but Delta had been through worse. Delta ran through the field of rotting corpses after the Jedi. His foot found every place that hers had been. He didn't know why, but he felt safer walking where a Jedi had just been. His Jedi commander had once led his entire squad through an enemy mine-field into a field operation base of the Confederacy's. It had been a slaughter, and in fact it looked exactly like this when it was over, there had been bodies everywhere...he skidded to a halt as the Jedi turned around with her blaster drawn. It was a sign to Delta, whenever a Jedi sensed danger, it was usually better to keep your eyes to the shadows. Their abilities surpassed even the highly tuned senses of a commando. A being with the 'Force' was the best ally a trooper could have, and the worst enemy. Delta crouched into a firing position next to the Jedi, ready for anything. "Did you see anything General?" An ounce of fear crept into his voice as he spoke "Did you sense something? He kept his blaster up and ready.

Delta looked back to Arlan after his question...."I don't know General, it looks like the Federation is moving up they should be here by nightfa....what the hell? What did I just say? I don't know whats wrong with me sir!" Delta put his blaster into its holster and turned toward the Jedi, his mind seemed to be like a corrupted holo-file, stuttering and jumping from one time frame to the next. And Delta could do nothing about it. He had another moment of clarity, "Generals....I mean master and padawan, I don't know whats wrong with me, I am re-experiencing the events of my past, it started with a comm transmit to my helmet, and it startled me so much I guess I threw my helmet at one of you...my apologies for that..." He heard the familiar clank of a battledroid down the hallway, he turned around, whipping his blaster from its holster and fired three shots at were the battle droid should have been...Startled by there being nothing there he looked over to the Jedi again. They appeared to be dressed in the armor worn by those Jedi that felt more or less attached to their clone units. Delta saluted, "General" He was speaking to the eldest of the Jedi, "The Trade-Federation is using some type of weapon to effect our minds, is Count Dooku here? That would explain alot of the variances in my memory, I thought for a moment that I was on some weird ship..."

Delta sat silent, in response to Armiena, he was absolutely silent not of his own accord, his mind was racing but he could not speak. He tried to speak but he could not. Fear had impacted his mind, it had never happened to him before, and his was scared speechless. Images of his time as a commando hunting down his old commanders flashed through his vision. Guilt overwhelmed him...and a single tear ran down his face. The feeling woke him from his stupor, and he stood as Armiena went to her Padawan, she must have been put off by him not speaking, he went to their side, and more tears flowed down his face. He wiped at them with his gloved hand and straightened up when he heard a distant scream echoing down the corridor, it was a scream that he had heard before, it was the scream of utmost terror. He looked to Arlan who seemed crazed...they were all experiencing a terror of some kind, all facing their worst fears, Jedi or Commando it was the same. All would fall to the frailty of their own minds. Delta crouched next to Arlan and Armiena and picked up the discarded bits of bandage, he felt that he had to do something to help. It was not much...but every supply could not be waisted. He returned the bandages to their discarded containers and sat them next to the two Jedi. Another scream echoed down the halls. "Ca'Aran what are you doing? NOOO!!" it continued with another high pitched scream that ended suddenly in a blaster shot...Delta raised his blaster in alarm and stood in front of the two kneeling Jedi, what ever there was down the tunnel it could be dangerous, and the two Jedi where still dealing with Arlan's sudden acts. They would need protection, Delta fell back into the groove of a commando...he was ready for anything, but not the sudden flashes of memories. He kept his blaster up, but he fell into a type of stupor again, tears running down his face, filled with the memories and guilt of what he had done in the past...

Delta stood in the turbolift with the others, he still had his E-11s in his hands, but he was no longer at his high alert mode. But still if an idiot decided it was a good idea to attack a bunch of Jedi/or perhaps Sith, since you could never tell with Miralukas, he would be ready for any attack. Delta sighed, he was tired, and a bit lonely”¦he had never really paused to consider how many friends he had lost over the years”¦Crosa, Jacen, Kailen, Commander Tal'Rang, his squad mates”¦so many”¦so many friends lost to the wrath of war. It was at that moment, when his guard was down that he heard his helmet beep. It was his comm-link, the one that was used for overreaching commands or interpersonal squad chatter. It beeped again, and this time static burst through his ears. It wasn't an ordinary sound, it was the tinny kind of static as heard through a Clone War era device. It continued, and he started to recognize the static that he was hearing, and it filled him with dread. The date was nineteen years before the battle of Yavin. One thousand and eighty-nine days after the battles of Geonosis. Order sixty-six. A voice broke through the static at last. ”œCa'Aran?”
  16. Delta fell into line with the others, his two E-11s out and prepared to blast anything that wasn't a corpse. He followed Arlan, keeping close to his back, yet keeping his eyes on the rear of the makeshift party, just in case a assassin or something thought sneaking up on a bunch of Jedi and a few others a good idea. Delta stepped into the turbolift with his new found allies, he gazed about the ship as it shuddered and groaned. The masses of shivering and bouncing corpses freaked him out a bit. Luckily, he had put his helmet back on, but the smell still lingered in his oxygen system. Gross.....
  17. Delta looked at the people quickly entering the ship, it was quite the party. Mostly Jedi though, Delta watched them as they boarded. They all seemed a little staggered by the smells aboard the ship, it made Delta happy that he had a helmet on. Not matter how useful the force was, it was nothing next to a top quality air filter. Delta watched the newest pair of jedi as they arrived, he decided to investigate and walked towards them. He did not count on the rotten corpse he had stepped on to stick to his leg. Somehow a rotten entrail had bound itself over his boot and brought him crashing to the ground in a heap of expensive armor. Not a good way to announce his existence aboard the rotting ship. He picked himself up and tried his best to brush of the mass of rotten organs off of his front. No matter, he walked towards them anyway. He approached the younger male, Arlan, and waved. "Hello Jedi, I assume you're here because your mind called you to this place as well?" Delta extended his non covered in guts hand, "Delta seventy-three at your disposal."
  18. Delta's C-90 Corvette Marie exited hyperspace over the planet. His mind roiled, a decrepit ship, a darkness in Iziz. He boarded his ancient ARC-170, and departed for the surface. If this was some type of contest, it was definitely a strange one. Delta felt called to the port. As he landed he looked about, a large dark ship stared at him from across the port. His mind pulled him from his seat, towards the dark behemoth. He could already see another boarding the craft, and Delta quickly followed, fully armed to the teeth, in his armor. He was here to represent the honorable Black Sun in the coming mission. He walked aboard the ship, He was glad to have a helmet on with a clean air supply. There was death on this ship. Delta73 was the second to board.....

    Selvaris

Delta in command of the Corvette Marie exited hyperspace with the rest of the ships under his command. He COMM'd down to the surface, "This is Delta73 on the Marie with the Medical shuttle and a few other ships and supplies, what are your orders Sir?"
  24. Delta awoke...again. He looked around him and saw that he was abourd the Darkened Stars on the edge of Concord Dawn he quickly got up donned his armor andlooked around again. The medical ward was filled with wounded from the battle on Slevaris...and some kind of battle here as well. he asked around and found that a man proclaimed himself leader and had shot 3 of the more loyal agents. Delta frownedwhen he learned something shocking, Crosa had left and so had Pic, and Jacen had declared himself leader or something like that... Delta made his way to the bridge, and being the highest classed agent in this dismal sector took control the few small ships: Malta, Darkend Stars, and a Corevette called Marie, along with a few other assorted smaller craft. Delta ordered the Marie to be the flagship of the rag-tag fleet. he made his way to the shuttle bay and soon was on the Marie. And in a few minutes the fleet blasted into hyperspace...
