((OOC: Yeah, that is the idea, otherwise the post would have said "And then Armenia's intestines spilled out into space." Killing somebody in one his is illegal, but putting somebody in a nearly impossible to escape situation that is likely to kill them if they're not really clever is not. In fact, such a tactic is the trade mark of Vladimir Faust. Relax. It's all cool. Good luck with the reconstructive surgery. ))

OOC:*Sigh*...c'mon people, a duel has to take place aboard the ship...there can't be any OHKs. Otherwise, there would never be a ship taken or a battle won under the new rules.

Oh, well. If you're gone, you're gone.

IC:

Onderin Starlisk awoke and shook his head. It quickly dawned on him that the Dark Lord had killed him... in a way he wasn't surprised, though his memory told him that it had been quite a fight. He had given the Dark Lord a challenge, and he was satisfied with that. It had been the will of the Force that he lost, and the will of the Force had been done.

The resulting loss at Carida meant a couple of things, he thought, immediately turning his mind to business. It meant that the Empire and Sith clearly had some sort of dominance in the galaxy right now, and that the Rebel Alliance would have to assume a more traditional role for the faction. There wasn't a problem with that.

The Jedi Master rose and dressed in his green tunic with dark, evergreen robes, then placed his Admiral rank insignia on the cloak were it should be, though it seemed out-of-place, as he didn't wear a uniform. He reached to clip his lightsaber onto his belt, but realized it wasn't there. And it would be most difficult to retrieve it from Carida, now a graveyard of ships.

His mind turned for a moment to Roxas Jarek, his new apprentice. He feared for a moment that the Miraluka had been killed on the Dauntless, but hoped that he had evacuated. He couldn't feel the alien's presence through the Force just yet....

For the moment, he had a little time to wait. Once everyone checked in, it would be time for business to commence. He headed for his office to pass a little time over paperwork.

Damon's eyes slowly rolled open. He sat up and looked at his body. He felt the side of his head where the bullet had entered. It was somthing he did not expect nor did he ever thought would of happend, but it did.

Damon felt at his chest and realized that he was in a bit of trouble. The necklace that containted his jewel that blocked his path with Yue was gone. A side of effect of being cloned. Damon kept calm and cool. He had to or risk what barrier still remained becomming factured and damaged more. Damon looked over expecting to see some robes or a LT uniform. However somthing else was there. A data pad with an explanition

You have been promoted. Sorry I am not there in person, but I am busy like everyone else. Due to your continued support, effort, and aid given to the Alliance you are hence promotted from LT to Commander. Also take note that with this promotion comes more responsablilty and that we will be moving from the ship yards of Mon Cal to Gala as the perment base of the Alliance. See you there Commander.

Damon looked at this promotion with like somthing that was not expected, yet that he knew he would have recived sooner or later. Damon however did not show any sign of emotion other than a slight smile that touched his lips. He would have to make sure he to show that he earned it this.

Damon dressed and left the re-cloning chamber. He felt werid walking down the hall with the new uniform and rank attached to him. He had to leave though. He needed to see Lady Ara once more and have her help him break the link forever. He needed to make sure that it would not interfear with his or any others life.

Damon went to the hangar and when he asked for an X-wing he was not asked to even sign for it. He was just granted an X-wing no questions asked and sent on his way. Damon found this to be quite a differnt pace of things than when he as LT. Damon found this small benefit of his new postion nice.

Damon blasted off into hyperspace and twaords the one place that might be able to help yeild him the location of lady Ara.

Its a blast from the not so distant past.

The Silence flickered into existance overtop of Mon Calamari, its lone inhabitant curious as to whether she'd zap herself into a battle, or if OOC information was correct. At any rate, it appeared the Imperials had evacuated and things were more or less peaceful at the shipyard currently.

As the current writer in question didn't know about Mon Cal's security, the post ended up a bit shorter as she decided to wait and see if someone would hail the ship or if she'd have to NPC herself down.

Ariane stared down at the planet from her ship, expression slightly flickering.

A water planet.

Dammit.

Ariane had had a few bad experiences with them in the past.

A transmission went out to the ship the transponder ID tagged as the Silence, registered to Ariane. "Greetings. If you have business with the Alliance, we will escort you in."

A few seconds later, a pair of E-wings were dispatched from the orbital shipyard, rendezvoused with the Silence, and started guiding it back to the shipyard and Hangar 12, which had been chosen for the newcomer's arrival.

There were a few tall men with military uniforms waiting for Ariane.

Fortunately, she didn't crash her ship. Exiting and starting the basic lockdown codes, she exited the ship carefully. Glancing rather up at the taller military NPCs, she resisted the urge to roll her eyes or be intimidated. She had gotten well accustomed to taller beings, after all.

OCC: I'm new at this, so please bare with me, and if i do something im not supposed to, please let me know and i will correct it

IC:As Scorpio Armegedon arrives at Mon Calamari in his battlisk war ship, he see's that the battle he had heard was taking place was over and the Jedi Knights were gone, he had hoped to join the battle and maybe even meet a jedi knight who would take him on as a padawan, which seems wont happen here. As he hovers in the sky, he see's that this planet is a water planet, which he has never seen before, so he decides to wait for an escort and check the planet out for a couple of days. "A couple of days smelling the roses so to speak would do my mind and body some good" Scorpio says as he hovers above the planet," It's Been a long journey since I found Helix in rubble".

OOC: Scorpio, don't worry about being a newbie. There are some good RPers in the Alliance as well as several newbies, and I hope to stick around and see some RPing talents develop so that we have an extremely solid faction in a few months.

We'll see how far I take this goal...

IC:

The escort that brought Ariane in immediately turned full around as soon as she landed and headed for the next incoming ship, registered to a certain Scorpio Armeggedon. What a name! the escort's captain thought with a bemused smile. He wondered for a moment if Armeggedon was an alien (not that it mattered). "If you have business with the Alliance, allow us to escort you to the shipyard," he said into his comm.

Meanwhile, one of the men there to meet Ariane stepped forward. "Hello, miss," he said, offering his hand. "I'm a Staff Sergeant here. I have a name, but ya don't need ta hear it. Just call me Sergeant Patches. Anyways, if you're here to enlist, I have some paperwork for ya ta fill out. We'll perform a background check next, and if ya pass, you're in.

"If enlisting isn't your business here, then say so, kid."

OOC: Yeah, and a few of us are just newbies at being in the Alliance, so I'm sure all will be well. (besides, with other newbies I don't feel so bad)

She accepted his hand with a firm handshake, brought on by years of being used to shaking the hands of people with millitary bearings. Nonetheless, Ariane cast Sergeant Patches a slightly offended look. "I'm short, yes, but I'm probably nearly old enough to be your mother, Sergeant. Or at least your sister." She cast him a wry expression. "Yes, enlisting is my business. Paperwork away."

OOC: thanks for the understanding Onderin, i will try my best to become a good RP'er

IC:As Scorpio Armegedon watched the escort of the other ship turn around and fly his way, he felt the jedi master's wondering of his race, and then before he could answer he heard the jedi master over his comm. "I am in search of a jedi master to teach me the ways of the force, and my emotions, and I'm just here for a few days rest, but i will help in anyway I can" he replyed as he thought back to the days he watched his parents brutuly murdered, how some strange force kept him barely alive till a twilek and a miraluka found him, and the anger he felt years later when he found the sith faction that killed his parents, and the slaughter he left in his wake, and he remebered why he was in search of a jedi master, the peace he wanted to feel was a strong hunger in him, now more than ever," I had heard of a battle here, and some jedi masters, and hoped to help, but i see i was not needed, and to your thought, Master Starlisk, i am human, born and raised on tatooine".He followed the escort into the ship yard and landed safely. As he stepped out of his battlisk war ship, The Jade Scorpion , he wondered would he find himself a jedi master here, or would the force find it elsewhere.

OOC: Lol, Scorpio, the first and most important thing about RPing is reading well. Then you can worry about writing well. Onderin didn't send a comm personally to Scorpio's ship, the captain of the escorts did. Onderin himself is in his office...he's the Admiral.

Furthermore, you can't tell what the pilot is thinking--you can't read his mind any more than Ariane can read yours. It's out-of-character information to know what the pilot is thinking, imperceptable in-character except to him (and possibly a very powerful Force user).

IC:

The captain listened to Scorpio's information about his origin and his intents. "We are willing to harbor you until you can find a Jedi Master," he said with a little bit of interest and a good bit of hospitality. "In fact, there are several Jedi among us that can at least help you out a little, if you asked them. The battle is indeed over...the Empire turned tail and fled when a Jedi Master showed up in our defense."

He turned his E-wing around as he rendezvoused with the Jade Scorpion and guided it back towards the shipyard along with his wingman. Amusing to those who knew the irony of it, these simple escorts were the core of Home 1, a squadron not unlike what Home 2 used to be. The difference was what Home 2 had become in the war since then, more of an elite squadron than one to be caught running errands.

Armeggedon was brought smoothly into a hangar, where he was to be met by the Alliance's Ambassador Talis.

----------------

Staff Sergeant Patches smiled, bemused, at Ariane's response to his referral to her, mistaking it for an incorrect reference to her age. He didn't correct her--he didn't need to correct her--but found it more than slightly amusing that there were still people in the galaxy that couldn't understand men like him.

For to him, everyone was "kid" that wasn't at least twice his age or a step higher in rank. At one point, Onderin Starlisk had been "kid." Now, he couldn't decide whether to call him "Master," "Admiral," or "sir," for all three titles would be appropriate. He wouldn't be terribly surprised if he ended up calling this Ariane "ma'am," for his rank, as far as he was concerned, would always be the same, for there was no fitter position in the galaxy for ol' Patches.

"Let me know when ya finish, miss," he said. "We can get ya into trainin' almost immediately. Now, did ya say whether you was here on a preference of becomin' a pilot or entering the infantry division?"

OOC: Sorry about that, but my character is supposed to be strong in the force, but more like a wild untamed being of the force, being his mother and father were both jedi who were exiled because they had fell in love and had a child, and after 21 years of the force growing inside himself and his strong emotions,he's a strong force being, but cant really control it, kinda like what you heard in Star Wars: Kotor 1 way before you find out that your actually Revan, but if that is illegal here, i will drop that part of my character.

IC:As Scorpio stood there waiting for the ambassador to arrive, he looked around the hanger, wondering what the Mon Calamri people were like, wondering what laid beneath the waves of the planet and if he would ever see what the underwater cities would be like, and if he would be permitted to see them, but if not, the peace and quiet would do him some good, he looked down at his mother's lightsaber crystal he had made into a necklace when he was just a little boy, and his father's broken hilt that had been destroyed that fateful night he slaughtered all the sith that had killed his parents so many years ago, and for a moment he thought back to that night, how he had sneaked into the sith encampent and had gotten ahold of a lightsaber from a dead sith he had killed from behind, the anger that purged through him as he slaughtered every sith he found, and nearly threw up when he remembered the satisfaction he felt as he killed each sith, how he destroyed his father's lightsaber with a stoke of luck against the sith who had stolen it and tried to kill him with it, and then as he thought of the last words his father had said to him the night before they were killed " Always do the right thing, my son, become a great jedi and resist the temptations of the darkisde, do not fail in their eyes like me and your mother, but remind them that love is not always dark, there is light in love, and you are mine and your mother's light, always remember that", a tear rolled from his eye, and as soon as he wiped it, the hanger doors opened and in stepped the ambassador.....

OOC: Unfortunately, it is illegal. Okay, step 1 of becoming a better writer: use paragraphs. It makes it easier to read. You already have some nice content. Really, your Jedi Master will teach you the most about RPing, when you get one. I'd take you with Onderin, but I recently picked up a new apprentice already.

IC:

Ambassador Talis stepped into the hangar and regarded Scorpio Armeggedon. "Good day, sir," he said, offering a hand. "My name is Ambassador Talis. If there's anything you need, let me know. But if you're just here for a little rest and perhaps a meeting with some of our officers, we can first give you quarters.

"If you'll follow me," he finished, turning around. He had two armed escorts more for the sake of tradition than anything--he usually didn't have anything to fear from the various travelers that showed up at Mon Calamari, whether they were Alliance recruits or just people seeking temporary asylum.

The pair reached a certain door, which Talis opened and gestured to the interior of. "You'll be staying here. Stay as long as you need."

OOC: Ok, well then that part is dropped, lol i see i have much to learn and hope to get a master soon, before i accidently do something else illegal and get banned, but thanks for clearing that up for me, thats one less thing i have to worry about.

IC: As the Ambassador stepped foreward and offered his hand, Scorpio noticed the two armed escorts, but ignored it seeing how there was just a recent battle that took place here. "My Name's Scorpio Armegedon, but you can just call me Scorpio" Scorpio said, "i'd be much abliged with the quarters for just a few days, and maybe look around for a little bit.

As the Ambassador leds Scorpio to his living quarters, he ponders on the thought of finding a jedi master, he has no ideal where to look after he leaves here, only hopes he will soon find one.

As the pair reach the door of the quarters Scorpio asks, " If you happen to stumble across some Jedi Masters in need of a padawan, send them my way if you please Ambassador Talis, Good day, sir", Scorpio bows, and with that, Scorpio throws his things on the floor and lays down in the bed for a good nights sleep.

Pegasus dropped out of hyperspace above the water world known as Mon Calamari. The young Aidan was eager to get to the surface and enlist with the Alliance. He had spent a lot of the past year learning to use a blaster in the rough space ports of Tatooine, and flying came naturally to him. His credentials would possibly earn him a higher rank coming in then most new recruits.

His ship gained access to the Rebel base and landed in one of its many hangars. He exited the Pegasus with his droid Zeus following close behind. He was greeted by a recuritment officer. Stacks of papers were shoved into his face, and after what felt like many hours of filling them out his hand began to cramp.

After turning them in and being psycho analyzed Aidan was led to another room where there stood a man and a middle aged woman. The strapping young lad approached.

"Aidan Walker reporting for duty sir," said Aidan's escort.

"Ahh, Thank ya Corporal, dismissed," said Staff Sargent Patches as he turned away from the woman who was now filling out the papers Aidan had so recently been working on himself. The Sargent took a clipboard with Aidan's information on it and looked it over.

"Says here that ya have been workin' on Tatooine for the past year. Mighty fine credentials if ya ask me, but what makes ya want to join with us now?"

Aidan nodded, "Yes sir, for the past year I have been working with a salvage company there. I learned to fly many craft, and if you have ever been to Tatooine I can imagine that you know how rough it can be. I learned to handle a blaster fairly well there. As for joining the Allliance, I saw a commercial on the Holonet and thought it would be a good way to seek some revenge against the Empire for destroying Coruscant in their recent take over."

Patches looked Aidan up and down, "Well, you appear to be in fine health and I think I have just the position for ya. You are gonna take over my position. Now I'll stay on for a while till ya get your feet wet, but I am gettin' old and I can't keep trainin' these young'ins. Someone new needs to step up and do it. I think you'll do a fine job at it."

Patches pulled an insignia from his pocket, "I hereby grant you the rank of Sargent."

Aidan, stunned and bewildered at the sudden news, saluted his senior officer. Zeus beeped with what seemed like joy. Niether had expected such a promotion so soon.

Aidan looked to the woman sitting in the room filling out papers. He wondered what she would have to say about this, herself being a new recurit as well, would she be jealous?

With his new pupil at his side, the old officer stood with modest pride as he waited for an answer from the woman...

Ooohhh... gender preferences. She was mildly amused more than offended, however: all it had achieved was a need to prove that even though she was small and middle-aged, she could fly as well as any Tatooine-experienced boy.

Somehow she had magically managed to fill out the papers in the downtime between posts.

"I came here on the preference of flying," she replied to the hastily replaced Sergeant. "But as a general rule, I'm able to learn fast enough to fill in necessary gaps." There was a hint of an accent, a light edge in her voice. Not a cutting one, but something unrestrained. Less of a Core accent than she should've had, perhaps.

She was quite aware that with her position as the wife of a dead Kuati business man, she wouldn't be seen as capible very fast. Size restraints and other light issues only added to the effect. They don't expect women to join the Alliance, then?

When Scorpio awoke the next day, he decided to get out and walk around the shipyard that he was staying in, as he walked around the shipyard he could see through the windows, he could see the Mon Calamri people trading with the Alliance people, and the Alliance people trading with the Mon Calamri people, He could see Alliance troops marching in formation, he even seen some playing games on their time off.

It had been awhile since he had seen peace like this and felt a smile slip onto his face.As he continued to walk around the shipyard, he heard some soldiers speak of the soldiers who lost their lives during the recent victory over the empire, he heard of a jedi master being killed, but luckly the cloning process worked, and heard rumors of the admiral's new apprentice missing in action, though he hoped that the apprentice was alright, he heard that more than likely he had been killed in action.

As he continued on he passed by the hangar where the Jade Scorpion, his battlisk warship was, he decided to stop in a get a change of cloths and a bite to eat , after he put on the custom armor the twilek male that found him that dreadful day in the desert of tatooine had gotten for him the day before he left on his journey of becoming a jedi, and finished his meal, he started back to the quarters where he was staying.

As he stepped out of the hangar, he heard more soldiers talking of the recent appointment of a jedi hopeful who became a sargent after just arriving here, and of another jedi hopeful though short, was older than the admiral himself, he felt a laugh as he thought of the old saying the twilek had told him many times " big explosions come in small packages".

Finally he had gotten back to the quarters where he stayed and went in, he sat on the bed, crossed his legs and meditated for a little bit, remembering that his father taught him that meditating would help him surpress his anger and help control himself better in hard situations. Before he realized it, he had meditated most of the day away and decided walking around much more wouldnt be a good ideal seeing as how he didnt know much about the place and he didnt have much security clearance to get anymore places around the shipyard, so he decieded to stay in his quarters till someone requested his appearance or night fell, for tomorrow he would see if he could venture outside the shipyard and maybe even visit a underwater city.

OOC: Nice two posts, Scorpio!

IC:

Patches took the papers from Ariane. "Don't mind him," he said, refering to Sergeant Walker. "We're not usually givin' out ranks on the spot like that, but with the current state of the Alliance, some positions jus' have ta be filled. The current Adm'ral jumped up ta Vice-Adm'ral from Colonel, so don't be surprised if ya find yourself with a new, pristine rank in a month or less."

He glanced over the papers. "Come by my office in a couple a' hours, and we'll have results on your background check. Until then, Sergeant Walker here will escort ya to your quarters."

Aidan motioned for Ariane to follow him. He was still slightly embarassed by the way he had been promoted. He couldn't explain it, but he felt slightly proud. It would be a difficult job to train new recruits, though he thought he was up to the task.

"So, a pilot huh," he asked as he walked down a hall with the woman, "Why did you decide at such an age to come and be a pilot for the Alliance? If you don't mind me saying so, it is kind of odd. Not odd that you want to join the Alliance or be a pilot, just odd that you should have that desire at your age."

Aidan was blushing. He knew he had stepped in it. Foot in mouth! was the expression he was thinking of. Young drill Sargents should know better than to ask personal questions. They should stay on business terms with their recurits at all times. Earn their respect as a leader, not as a friend

The young officer hoped he hadn't offended the woman...

OOC: Thank you i think, by 2 posts, do you mean my last 2 posts or did i accidently double post, i mean, with my computer, a 500 dallor walmart computer, you never know what it's doing, (f.e. a double post on someone else's end, and only a single post on my computer's end)

IC: As Scorpio waited for the day to pass, he suddenly got an ideal, he would see if he could meet the admiral here, who happened to be a Jedi Master and see if he possibly knew of someone who needed a padawan, and would teach him the ways of the jedi, seeing how he had heard that the admiral was a great Jedi and well known.

He quickly walked down the halls of the shipyard toward the Amassador's office, and soon arrived there, as he walked in he saw a beautiful young human female sitting in the secretary's desk, it's been a long time since he had seen human female his own age, so he felt kinda bashful, but he got the nerve to walk up.

As he walked up to her, he asked if Ambassador Talis was in and if he could have just a moment of his time.

As Scorpio waited on an answer from the Ambassador in his quarters, he thought of what a Jedi Master would mean, he would finally be taking the first steps to his and his father's dream, and finally be feeding his hunger for peace as well as a life with great meaning and understanding, a life he knew was his destiny.

As the day grew away he finally became aware that the Ambassador was too busy that day to have their talk and decided that his quest wasnt as important to others as it was to him, and understood it quite well, maybe the Ambassador would request his appearance tomorrow and maybe hopefully help him, or if not, he completely understood , but it never hurts to ask, the worst case being a no, which was ok with Scorpio.

Finally the day grew away and night fell, Scorpio said good night to his family , knowing that one day he would feel their presence in the force, seeing how all jedi that die became the force upon death, and after a few minutes dozed off into a light sleep.

OOC: A few things, Scorpio. First, I think you're under the impression that days pass in the RP as they do real-time. Actually, most characters don't sleep even once a real-time month. Second, that was a double-post. If you want to add posts on later before someone else posts, just use the "Edit" button.

IC:

Ambassador Talis headed to Scorpio's quarters and knocked quietly, waiting to be let in.

OOC: Sorry about that, and about the double post, i forgot all about it till i had already posted it and didnt know how to take it off, this would be so much easier if i did had a master to teach me how to rp correctly lol.

IC: Scorpio awoke at the sound of the knock, and went and answered it. It was Ambassador Talis, "Come in, Come in", said Scorpio, as he let the Ambassador in, " have a seat, please".

As the Ambassador took a seat, Scorpio asked, "if the Admiral ain't too busy, i would like to meet the Admiral, and possibly see if he happened to know any Jedi Masters that are in need of a padawan seeing how he is a well known Jedi Master himself. Scorpio offered the Ambassador something to drink, and afterwards, said, "but if the Admiral is too busy to meet with me, i understand completely, he has other and more important duties at hand, but if he will, i will be most thankful in any help he can give me.

Talis shrugged. "Really, I'm not sure what Admiral Starlisk is up to," he said. "He's probably pretty busy, but I can at least ask him on your behalf. Don't get your hopes up."

((Lol, I love having NPCs totally misinterpret Onderin. That is to say, of course he'll come talk to you. ))

The ambassador pulled out his commlink and spoke a few words into it, turning away from Armeggedon for a little bit of privacy (not that he had anything to hide in his words). A few seconds later, he shut off the device and turned back to Scorpio. "Well, it looks like you're a lucky one. He's on his way," he said. "He'll be here in a few minutes. Don't mind if I leave now--unfortunately, it seems that I have more things to do than the Admiral has."

Talis stood and left briskly. He wasn't a poor ambassador, but there was just something that annoyed him about an Admiral who took time out of leading the faction to talk to every visitor that asked to see him. Surely there were more important things to be done.

-------------

Minutes later, Onderin Starlisk entered Scorpio's quarters. He gave a courteous bow and offered a hand. "Greetings. You must be Mr. Scorpio Armeggedon, if I was told correctly," he said. "I was told that you asked to see me and that it had something to do with the Jedi. How can I help?"

The Corellian Jedi was of medium height, a little under six feet, and had an unparticularly impressive build beneath his dark evergreen robe and lighter green tunic. Almost out-of-place on his robe was his rank insignia, which was full to denote his unique stature in the Alliance heirarchy. His face was almost perpetually curious but his eyes held the wisdom of the Jedi Master and experienced military man that he was. He had medium-length blond hair and a characteristic gotee.

And, of course, at his belt was his lightsaber, amazingly recovered from the wreckage of the Dauntless over Carida along with an EV pilot and returned aboard the last Nebulon-B Frigate retreating from the Imperial space.

------------------

Meanwhile, outside in the shipyards, a new massive flag ship was completed to replace the Dauntless. It was christened the Relentless, the "tireless," following the trend of names that began with the Defiant.

As the Ambassador backed away, Scorpio bowed and said good bye and much thanks to the Ambassador. As Scorpio waited he felt there was a possiblity his dream was closer than he thought, but there was also a possibility that he could be wrong, but either way, what happens was meant.

A few moments later the Admiral walked in, he was much taller than Scorpio thought, with a very mellow mood about him, and a deep inner peace within the Admiral. He immediatly admired the Admiral for this because he was just exactly as he had heard and reminded him of his father's personality, his father being a calm & peaceful feller himself, and much like the way young Scorpio wanted to be.

Scorpio said to the admiral, "As i have walked these halls i have heard of a great & wise Jedi Master who was an Admiral, i wanted to meet you and see if you were exactly as i had heard, and it seems to be true" but he said "my real reason i asked for you was, i had heard you knew many Jedi Masters and hope you would know one in need of a young padawan?

Young Scorpio paused for a moment, and conitnued " my mother and father were Jedi and were exiled because they had fallin in love and were with child, me. Although my parents seen they had failed the Jedi, they dared not return, for they also believed that true love was light, and that i was born from that light. But my father knew i would do better than he, a better Jedi, i would make, he said, and that was mine and his dream, to succeed where they had failed the Jedi.

As Young Scorpio finished his reason for requesting an audiance with the Admiral, he wondered what the great Jedi was thinking, but also hoping that the admiral would have some helpful information of a Jedi Master to teach Scorpio the ways of the force.

Onderin had to keep himself from chuckling when Scorpio praised him on first impression. Well, he thought, I may not be the great and wise Jedi Master that I could be, but I could see how my position could lead people to believe that.

Still, he listened intently to Armeggedon's tale about his brief family history and why he now wanted to become a Jedi. "Although love is forbidden by the Jedi for a good reason," he said, "I do not think it is checked by anything. It will never fail to pervade the hearts and minds of humans and aliens."

When Onderin focused for a moment on the aid Scorpio had asked him for, he gave a sad smile. "While I am a Jedi Master, my duties with the Alliance have forced me to pay a terrible price," he said. "I really am not as connected to the Jedi Order as I should be. At one point, I was considered for a position on the High Council, but never has that really been an option for me.

"I am familiar with many Jedi, but I really couldn't tell you who is looking for an apprentice," he continued. "In fact, after Helix was located, I'm not even sure where they relocated to." He paused for a moment in thought. "They may be on Manaan, for the Jedi have long had a presence there that I don't think was ever removed."

"You may be right "said Scorpio to the Admiral," love has done many terrible things in the past true, but has created many things as well, including great Jedi Masters, for more than likely their parents loved them enough and wanted badly for a good life for their child that they sent them to train to be a Jedi, but it is true love doesnt fit in a life of a Jedi, the whole self sacrifice and no attachments in life is the life of a Jedi, I believe love to be of the force for it is strong, but to exile for life an Jedi for falling in love and having a child may not be the right path, maybe having the child train to be a Jedi himself, my mother and father were so ashamed of themselves they never slept in the same room together during my whole life with them, my mother and father were faithful Jedi to their death, but i think they deserved redemption, but i also believe and was raised to believe that the Jedi Master's of the counsil to know what they are doing, and that the force had its reasons, so i trust in the counsil's reasons for exile of my parents, and i hold no grudge, just only hope they knew that love was not their curse, that temptation was, and hope to one day atleast have them reconized as the great Jedi Masters that they were, and if not, atleast show them the greatness that love brings.

As Scorpio finshed his conversation, He propperly bowed, and said "may the force be with you Master Starlisk" and thanked him for the tip, for it was more help than he could ask for and was pleased tht he atleast knew now his next destintation, and with that Scorpio was off back to his quarters for the long trip to manaan the next day.

The next morning, Scorpio made his way to the hangar to fly out of the beautiful water planet of Mon Calamari, when he happened to walk past Ambassador Talis. Scorpio stopped and waited patiently for the Ambassador to stop his conversation with the group he was talking to. When the Ambassador did, he turned to Scorpio with a peaceful look.

"I am leaving Mon Calamari for the planet Manaan, i wanted to thank you for the pleasent stay here, and for the quarters, and most importantly for my request of the admiral, you have been more help than i could ask for and i wanted to say thank you friend, you will not be forgotten for this".

And with that, Scorpio hopped into the Jade Scorpion and waited for an escort off Mon Calamari.

Onderin was left with a thoughtful look on his face when Scorpio left. It was amazing that he could be considered a great Jedi Master and yet learn from one that had called him such. It was a great thing, to see things from the persepective of one who had not seen decades of war and fought numerous Sith in bloody, deadly combat. It was an idealistic perspective, one that Onderin had once had himself....

The Admiral gave a slight sigh and stood, exiting the room. He needed to find Roxas Jarek, for there was no better time than now to begin training a new apprentice.

----------------

The pair of escort E-wings lifted off to escort the Jade Scorpion out of the hangar and back into space. The Captain sent Armeggedon a brief comm, "I hope you found what you were looking for, sir. Know that there will always be a place for visitors in the Rebellion."

Roxas awoke in a daze. Startled from a nightmare he searched his surroundings through the force, but the only information that his inept skills provided was that he was in a room on Mon Calamari, an alliance base. He wiped the beads of sweat from his face and tried to recall everything that had happened. The destruction of the Dauntless, fleeing back to Mon Calamari, the great dread that he experienced that drained him... Much had happened in the last few weeks, yet he had done nothing. Yet now, he felt a call on the edges of his conscious. Master Starlisk was calling him- he had been brought back! This new knowledge quickened his pace in gathering his clothing and walking out of the door. He zoomed down the hallways, his intuition guiding him, giving general directions until he happened upon the familiar glow of the force.

"Master Starlisk! It's good to see you again." He shook the man's hand fervently. "I appologize, I haven't been very good apprentice so far, passing out and just leaving like I did-" his words began to smoosh together "but what would I have done, I mean I can't even use a blaster- and now I don't know how I got here, but I think I do- I think you called me didn't you? Do you need me for something? I imagine you're pretty weak from just waking up from the cloning, do you need me to go to the grocery store?" Roxas' mouth never seemed to stop producing more words to fill the air of the reunited Master and Apprentice.

((OOC: Sorry about 'just leaving' guys, I swear I'll be more serious about posting from now on.))

OOC: Just to let everyone including the admins and mods, i will be away for a few days, dont know how many because of a family emergency, involving my 89 yr old great-grandmother.Just letting people know.

IC: Following the escort into space Scorpio thought back on the sounds and sights of Mon Calamari, his soul no longer hurt as much, and neither did his heart, he had made friends on Mon Calamari, and would never forget them, he hoped to return soon as a jedi apprentience.

Then as he heard the message for him over the comm, he replyed " Thank you friend, may the force guide the rebellion to victory, and please tell the Admiral and Ambassador if they ever need a helping hand, remember me and find me, for my help will always be theirs, goodbye".

And with that, Scorpio told r2d2 to set a course for manaan and off into hyperspace he jumped to another water planet." Good" he said, for he came to like water planets.
