This story is about a kid who moved away from the one place he knew as home and the struggles he has, including forming a band and his drive to succeed, leading up to the final conflict. Based on a true story. New Beginnings [chorus] A promise to begin anew Friends and family left behind The city lights diminish As I wave my home goodbye. Why must you go? I can't leave this behind. It's like a song-fic, but without a real "fic" part, yet it still tells a story. It was a little confusing, knowing who the 'characters' are, and who is talking where, but I liked it nonetheless. The first is The Daughter/Sister Then the Father Then the Mother Then the Father again. Genesis is in told by The Son. Edit: it has come to my attention that the above link does not work. Zero Posted February 15, 2007 Author Share Posted February 15, 2007 Consistent rhyming was not my main objective. Making it rhyme in parts is put in only to keep it more in the song format. For example, in Part IV: Only the last two lines in the first verse rhyme with the words 'were' and 'world', but it's a first syllable rhyme.
