To be honest, he could have laughed himself silly. The initial way he was approach he found almost too funny for words. To think a direct approach would be used against him. Well it would be like assuming he was a lower enlisted personnel member of some sort. Mainly because in generally they have little or no resistance training and have had minimal security training. Yet he was among the best at what he did. Perhaps the best at what he did. Though that was still contestable by the mandalorian. It was of no matter, as he personally knew seven languages, two which were known to druids and A.I. Surely an impressive man such as himself wanted a better approach. Unless of course they were about to try a good cop, bad cop mutt jeff kind of routine. He knew for a fact he would break under such a thing, as he had long ago lost the ability to see a wookiee as threatening. No he would break by laughing his ass right out of his chair.

He had taken a careful look at his surroundings to the room, even after being manhandled by the wookiee. If he hadn't been strapped down, he would strangle the wookiee on the spot for such treatment, and even though he rarely killed for kicks and giggles”¦. He would make an exception. He found his current state of humorous to be odd actually, and of course immediately suspect he had some how been poisoned, as this was clearly a serious situation and so he should find anything funny.

Raising an eyebrow at Zara however, this was the only indication that anything what so ever had registered with the bounty hunter. His face stoic and about as hard as a mountain, was actually far more rigid than the helmet he normally wore. They would have had a far better chance of reading him by simply staring at that thing, then they would by trying to gleam something from a nonexistent facial expression. Internally he did his best to sober up, and kept a relatively straight face. It was time to start business. Saying nothing, he simply return are suspicious beady eye stare, with his own rather blank yet observant one. No emotion was fed into it besides at best a mild curiosity at the proceedings and how far they would take them.

The mere fact she had to ask, meant they she had nothing really on him but, he had everything on her. Something he would make her aware of soon enough. Detaining people against their will because they are found on your property, was in general a law breaking no-no unless you were the ruling power. The fact that they detained him, meant they both feared him and had something to hide. The fact that no other power had been brought into this, meant they wished to avoid entanglements with any sort of side, attempting to of course either stay neutral or not air any dirty laundry. Yet they had no actual reason to hold him here, as he hadn't truly done anything warrant of detention to begin with, and especially one as long as this. Surly she realized that her entire casino was in for a rather massive lawsuit, and perhaps some other more seed ways of payback. If not than she was living in quite the fairy tale world. It didn't matter though as all of this was rather inconsequential. Still leaving the woman's words in the air, he knew he wouldn't budge much further.

Zara's stormy eyes stared at Slicer. He was as guilty as sin. Besides the original information she had of his involvement in the heist years before, she had footage of his break-in of their Coruscant branch and information showing he had stolen information from them. She suspected him of other suspicious activities as well.

Looking over at Idejjen she wondered what sort of interrogation techniques he would use, preferring to let her security officer deal with him. She was too tempted to eject Slicer out of an airlock. After requesting help from both the Empire and the Alliance, neither had gotten back to them. What information had he stolen? She knew he had, just not the full extent of it.

Since her twin had left the business to her, there had been no illegal dealings, the organisation had been lawful neutral ever since so she had no fear with regards to that. What Zara was concerned about was the information Slicer had accessed, specially since he was a Sith. She didn't want the locations they had for the Jedi being compromised. Even though they were pick up points, not the actual locations. What she would have to implement would be different locations altogether. Secretly and silently, without letting on what she was doing, Zara sent a message via her internal comm chip to her secretary to put that in motion... to send messages to the Jedi mentioning that the Link's security had been breached and that to take precautions, they would change the pick up/drop off points for the Jedi to keep their locations safe from their enemies.

It was only seconds that she looked back to Slicer, deciding on one more question before she let Idejjen take over. "What's your connection to Ar-Pharazon?"

Slicer simply blankly stared at the woman as if she was a fool. Leaning back in his chair as best as anyone could while strapped in, he continued with his blank stare before allowing a smile no a grin to spread across his face.

”œI suppose I could let you know but it is gonna cost you. Tell you big wookiee friend to step away from my chair, and I'll give you the low down on my connection with the Sith in question.”

((sorry to use you a little bit Zara, but I wanted to speed this up a little bit))

Voluntarily, Idejjen worked his way from the chair. He only vaguely trusted the man before him, because so far his honesty had yet to be tested, but something about the hunter seemed to irk Idejjen on a different level.

"Very well Hunter..." said Idejjen in his familiar jumbled basic as the dialect fell steadily back into the wookie's native tongue. The large construct moved to intercept the cameras and deactivated their constant surveillance. The security risks were minimal within the force free detention room so Idejjen shrugged it off as if it were no problem, but his eyes never left the hunter as he moved about the room taking in everything he had to say. It was intriguing how much the man knew and how much he was willing to bear now that the cameras were down, but none of it seemed to matter as Idejjen's face rested indifferently upon his shoulders.

The fugitive would not tell them the sole purpose of his break in, but it seemed his interest with the Link hadn't ended. With the speed of his oration the group managed to end the meeting rather quickly, but there was a sort of uneasy feeling as Idejjen took a momentary break from the meeting and headed down into the force rich area of the casino. Pain welled, screams echoed, but within moments he retreated back into the familiar detention room with the face of a rather large human with the same amber eyes and character cybernetics.

"Alright slicer" Idejjen said enjoying the absence of gravel in his throat, "It's time we took you back to your cell. Zara, go ahead about your business, we should be fine..." said Idejjen with a slight wink.

The construct's feet took him heavily back to the holding cells with Slicer draped over his shoulder, but once they approached the cells Idejjen decided it was time for another meeting, this time, a personal one. He informed the guards that he would be regarding the prisoner alone and that his equipment should be monitored, but something defied even his own testimony. Idejjen's voice wavered slightly, but the guard at the door didn't catch it and instead followed his indicated orders.

Then, with Slicer in arm, Idejjen carried the fugitive to yet another interrogation room. Idejjen repeated this process a couple of times, each time delivering new orders to the guards in the prison until the only guard left was Idejjen. The monster's eyes rested keenly upon the prisoner's as his figured waved within the darkness and then the cameras went black.

The period was indiscernible in its stretch of black, but it arose no suspicions for the guards were occupied with other duties and the one responsible was the head of the guard who still served as Slicer's chaperon. The blackout ended however, in a sense of normal fluctuation and there sat the prisoner. Idejjen could be seen conversing with a nearby guard that walked in after the black and they appeared to be thoroughly wrapped in serious questions. After what seemed like phantom business ended though, the two guards left and more came to replace them as the construct and his associate left.

The cameras continued to trail the pair as Idejjen commed Zara to accompany them and in time Idejjen reached the room where the fugitive's armor was stored. The arsenal of weapons were covered with extra men to protect them, but with one hand Idejjen summoned them away, saying that Zara ordered the equipment incinerated. The team yielded without extra consideration, because what the boss said was law to them. They fled to join other guards as they did rounds at the casino and guarded not only the main fugitive, but his fellow inmates.

With the armor in a bag over his shoulder, Idejjen lumbered casually as if the weight meant nothing. Zara eventually joined the pair and the group slowly made their way further into the depths of the Casino only to emerge from the other end where hangar security greeted them. With yet the same story, this time echoed by Zara herself, Idejjen and the rest of the group passed by with no quarrels and made their way to the main Link Hangar.Once they reached their intended direction the construct handed the bag to the operative and Zara for its inevitable destruction and the guard captain retreated back into the casino for some well deserved rest...

It was for that moment, that at last everything was quiet. The shrill sounds of breath coming from those around him, were shut out, as he drank in every detail of his surroundings. It was perhaps one the best moments in captivity he had had so far surrounded by the darkness, that filled his very being.

Earlier, had been interesting to say the least. He had only seen her once. Yet that had been enough, he had gotten the scent so to speak. A scent that sustained him. The brute of a man known as his jailer, shuffled him about from one interrogation to another, over some almost indiscernible span of time. Each time seemingly longer than the last, and all of them achieving the same result.

Now however, it seemed things were on the cusp of completion. He had patiently bide his time. Waiting, watching observing, noticing who seemed jumpy and who seemed like death was waiting for a helping hand. The master assassin, had infinite patience after all. Every time he took a single step out side of his cell, he continually learned new things until he once again stepped foot back inside of it.

The first mistake, for the less observant, he been not infusing the entire building with the ability to be forceless. Something he picked up rather quickly. Still unlike a childish amateur would would have wasted his first chance at escape, he instead, awaited until a far better chance had come along. Taking his time to cultivated his situation to the fullest until at last he could wait no longer.

As the darkness consumed all, a terribly satisfying grin was brought to his lips. The first particular display of emotion worth noting creeping onto his face in a long time. Something that was only understandable given one single solitary fact. Demonic as he may have appeared to countless beings, he was in the end human, and as such would remain, even if some believed him to be devoid of such a thing as humanity.

Yet as soon as the lights had returned, so had his mask. His entire being devoted to the charade he was preforming. Right up until he boarded the shuttle and took the pilots seat. Still maintaining the sense and feel of a simple employee, it was little matter, to actually clear the docking ring, after escaping the hanger. Then just like that he escaped into dark vacuum of space with none the wiser.

Out of the darkness of space came an even darker being, a demon under the guise of Satan himself. The dark being known as Cephi, who had previously blamed the death of two Coruscanti children on the owner of the Golden Link came out of hyperspace flanked by two unarmed transports. Immediately the Stygium Cloaking device installed in his ship came active to hide him from the scanners aboard the massive station. He could only be seen by the naked eye and from the distance he was from the Casino itself it would be impossible to be seen let alone hit. His ship was black blending in with the darkness of space thus it lessened the odds even more so.

Immediately the Sith moved to the Comm Center in his ship standing in front of his holorecorder ready to provoke the Link even more than he needed to.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, and Zara Nargal who could be something in between, Welcome to Cephi's fantastic hour where I disturb you with frightening images and horrific experiences. Last time, as you recall, I killed two children miss Nargal has specified to be killed. Brilliant performance, ruthless and evil. But today I have a even more special gift for you, so look at your transperisteel into space away from the sun and let the magic begin."

Cephi turned but then thought for a second and turned around.

"Oh and Ms. Nargal, I give you a glimpse of what you want most."

In an instant the Transport ships ejected their loads, garbage, trash to men like him, Lord Ar-Pharazon and Smash Daisaku began to flow toward the link, hundreds of thousands of them, limp cold, and now coming into view.

The people of the Link would soon be seeing that what these dark men considered the trash were 300 thousand dead slaves, naked and grotesque being thrust toward the Golden Link Casino. Within moments the corpses should be making impact on the transperisteel of the Casino causing patrons to shriek in fear as body parts now frozen in the cold of space broke apart and allowed their blood to smear all over the windows.

Pleased with the wholly dark nature of his deed Cephi laughed and hit another button setting his drone transports thrusters to full and sending them at high speed in a collision course toward the Link.

Cephi sped his ship a few more kilometers away to keep out of the way of the fantastic devastation soon to behold the Golden Link Casino.

Seeing the carnage outside as Idejjen passed through the corridors of the Link, he almost missed the floating ships headed straight towards them. Within moments Idejjen's hands shot frantically towards his belt retrieving a small metal comm device. His voice sounded raspy as if forced, but his diction shone through the adverse crackling.

"Reiken! This is security chief Idejjen. Activate the Golden Link's Fail safe now! And record the man's testimony. We may need that later to clear Zara's name." Not wanting to wait for the troop's action though, the construct sprinted with all of his might toward the controls in case his communication was not received. Just when Idejjen was about halfway to the post however he got a return comm...

"Sir where would you like us to go?" he said as the sounds of buttons reached Idejjen's ears. The construct hesitated slightly, but only because he was rapping his mind with possible locations. The bodies were beginning to hit the Golden Link's shields and it would only be a matter of time before contact so Idejjen just loudly blurted, "CORELLIA!"

"Ok sir" said the operative as even more buttons could be heard in the background and the station lurched through space into a few hyper drive bumps. It didn't catch Idejjen by surprise, but his balance was tested on a number of jumps and he almost fell from the pressure. He could feel the flux of the patrons as their thoughts collided in harsh screams, but once the movement had stopped their feelings seemed calmed.

The Station was soon drifting peacefully above Corellia and Idejjen was nearly passed out in a small corridor. He heaved hefty exhalations upon the cold wall of the casino, causing warm clouds of condensation to form upon it. The Melody of the Casino's rapid consumption soon resumed and the people returned to their original tasks. However, it seemed there was an increased edginess about as the image seemed to float amongst the patron's minds. He could almost read the people as he patrolled about checking to see if there were any injured.

Cephi was disappointed the ship had gone into hyperspace. He could have followed the ship based on its ion trail, however he decided that it was not worth it for him to put himself into a possible ambush and the Sith Apprentice left the system making his way back to his new homeworld.

It seemed inevitable that after the vacuum that was left by the Arachtar war; that the loads of people from before would be back and they came in droves. The Link seemed flooded with random individuals that Idejjen had never seen before of random shapes and sizes, but during Zara's absence it was his job to keep watch. It was rather difficult due to the surge of people, but with the man power the Link possessed and the time he had at his disposal, he managed to set up an effective patrol and shift schedule that left the entire Link defenseless to the eyes of its security. His counterpart was working feverishly in the lab still, her hair frizzing under the overwhelming stress and anticipation, after what seemed like months of work. Idejjen could tell she was still watching him from one of the security monitors that he rigged to the lab so she could see if people were approaching and as such felt no real separation from her.

Transforming didn't seem to be that much of an issue to him anymore though, as he moved about his duties. It still hurt profusely, but the magnitude had long since receded and now that he scheduled a time for his shifting it felt like just another part of his routine; like giving blood or having someone routinely beat you up with a metal bat for about 10 minutes while you just sit and take it. Nowadays he was in his rather large Ewok form and aside from drawing a few awkward looks and chuckles, Idejjen managed to draw some adoring children fans even under his imposing Link security armor. The little ones flocked to the security guard as he played with them on his time off. He didn't particularly enjoy being a giant teddy bear, but it seemed that someone did so he didn't mind. People even walked up to the large ewok and asked him if it was degrading and after all of the degradation Idejjen used to receive, this was nothing.

Idejjen couldn't get over it though. The joy he felt knowing that not only had his creator not been dead, but that the Link was now thoroughly repopulated. There were few if no important figures here, but it seemed that the other people could care less as they moved along merrily from station to station. Money remaining merely an obstacle, they used varying levels of ignorance or intelligence to gamble it away and Idejjen or the other personnel were there to handle issues if it got too rowdy as people steadily lost their savings. The swoop races were back though as well as the holovid plazas and they drew a great deal of the people here anyway.

It seemed that the terrorist attempts at the Link shocked few people and as if the incompetence of the assaults were enough, it seemed that people were drawn to the Link just because the security managed to fend off such threats effectively. It wasn't in Idejjen's persona to be cocky, but it became apparent that a few of the other guards started to grow a little cocky toward their abilities, so occasionally Idejjen would surprise them with a blow to the head knocking them out; some of them ducked, but Idejjen would make sure they felt their flaws. Later when they woke up, Idejjen talked to them and asked if they felt like rephrasing their previous attitudes. Most agreed and others were still groggy, but after much refreshment they too agreed because this was one of the better paying jobs they'd had in a long time. Zara took care of her own so they really enjoyed their time here and so did Idejjen.

It was beginning to look like the Link wasn't going to go anywhere and Idejjen was glad to call it his home.

Ida was working feverishly and her fingers were almost numb to the bones from the constant strain. Her friends had left her to her work and no one seemed to really bother her aside from the daily meal deliveries by her creation, but that didn't mean there weren't bumps. Since the first organism she created from inactive deceased parts and robotics was a man she felt it only suitable to make a woman even if they would never procreate, but in trying to make another organism she realized how difficult it was the first time. Trying to hook organs that had long since been discolored by their exposure to oxygen, was very difficult; they were hard to tell apart from each other and their selection was very important. Like a puzzle, if she didn't get it just right, it would end in catastrophe, but she eventually managed to get most of the internal workings completed and as she finished up with that she worked on the outside parts and mechanics making sure that the female recreated sentient at least looked presentable. Then again, Ida thought Idejjen looked presentable; harsh criticism and degrading stares later, it seemed that she was wrong.

This project seemed to take a very important turn though as Ida mulled over in her head the purpose of yet another manufactured organism. It would seem that such a purpose would be rather simple, but the resulting reason took a little while into the process until it finally emerged. She felt that if she was to leave her creation a little bit of her could be left behind to take care of him in her absence. It wasn't really high on her list of things to do, but it seemed inevitable that eventually Ida would like to leave in pursuit of other opportunities. She was a scientist after all and although her colleagues may seem to have captured the bio engineer world by storm already, she only hoped there was a piece of that pie she could share with them.

In the absence of the heads of the company, the Golden Link Casino managed to stay in business. However, the current political climate of the galaxy had taken it's toll on the pleasure business. The casino was mostly quiet, a pleasure ground for the very rich and politically ignorant.

Brina knew all this. While she had been gone, she had nevertheless kept up on the economics of what was, she had slowly come to recognize over the years, her company. She had also done some serious thinking while she was away. She was completly satisfied with being a business woman now, and was ready to take a bigger role in the Link.

When her ship arrived, she set it down in her personal docking bay. Upon her arrival, she was quickly informed of Zara's absence, as well as that of her children. Frowning, she made a mental note to leave a comm for her friend.

After a brief stop in her quarters where she took a sanisteam and changed into her business clothing, she headed to her office. There were a few comms to answer and some paperwork to complete, which took her the res of the day.

As she headed down for a quick dinner, she had her mind full of business plans. As she ate, an idea began to form in her mind. She would have to think about it and do some research, but if things worked well, she might have to pay a visit to Coruscant. She felt like she'd have to speak to Zara about it, but at the same time, she would want to first see if it would work out.

After dinner, she spent some time working on her ship. She may be a businesswoman now, she thought wryly, but she would never forget her smuggling roots. She had so enjoyed those days.

Finally, it grew late. She was still tired from her trip, so she headed up to her rooms. As she did, she passed the quarters she used to live in, all to briefly, with Kat. She had long recovered from her heartache at his death, but something made her pause. She opened the door and stepped in. The room was unnaturally clean, and showed all the signs of not having been lived in for some time. She walked around, her mind full of memories suddenly.

After a while, she found herself in the bedroom. She didn't know what possessed her to do it, but half an hour later she was asleep on the bed.

From the depths of subspace came an encrypted message marked for the current caretaker of the space station. Normally, Tares would have addressed it to Zara herself. However, given his time away from the local events, it was difficult to determine if she or someone else was heading up the organization and casino.

"Greetings, my name is Tares Vortex, current CEO of Solaris Enterprises. I would like to discuss a potential business relationship with the Link, and request to have a meeting at your earliest convenience. Should you wish to meet, I'd be more than happy to come and meet on the Golden Link. If you're interested, please reply with to work out a good meeting time. I look forward to your reply...."

Brina woke with a start, her mind still half-believing she was in danger. Sitting up, she glanced around and saw where she was. Taking a deep breath and banishing the disturbing images of her dream, she forced herself to laugh at herself for falling asleep in Kat's quarters.

She headed back to her own, where she got dressed, grabbed a bite for breakfast, and headed to her office. Foremost on the list of notes on her datapad was that she had received a message from Solaris Enterprises.

Brina raised an eyebrow. She had heard little from Solaris since the disappearance of Drake Vortex; only that the board of directors was considering selling off the company. She accessed the comm log and listened to the message. It was interesting to hear that Solaris had a new CEO, and she assumed given his surname that he was related to Drake in some way. She quickly pulled up a background profile on Tares, and was intruiged to find out that he was not only Drake's brother, but it appeared that he was a former Jedi Knight. Well, I'll try not to hold that against him.

After a moment's thought, she answered the message, inviting Tares to the station at his earliest convenience. The redhead sat back in her chair, wondering what he would have to say. It was clear from his message that he was interested in a business relationship between their two companies, which tended to agree with what Brina knew of Solaris Enterprises' economic woes.

Besides, she thought, sitting back up in her chair and glancing at the situation of their own stocks, with the trade embargo still cutting into the Link's profits, she wouldn't turn down a potential business agreement if it benefitted the Link.

"Thank you for seeing me Director Thalin." Tares said with a firm handshake.

Moments ago, he had landed and secured his ship within a docking bay of the casino. Upon being greeted by station personnel, he was led to the personal office of the Director. Along his way, he was able to take in some of the sights of the casino.

"I must say, you're casino is quite impressive. I don't know why I've never made my way to here until now." He remarked as he took a seat.

"Anyways, obviously there is a reason for my being here. As you may have heard on the holonet, my company is in the process of a major reorganization. When my brother left, things went down hill. I intended to fix that. Unfortunately, the current economic climate threatens my goals. Much like other companies, Solaris has been hit hard over the years, and will continue to do so with this new trade embargo." Tares said.

"I hope you don't mind if I skip with the business tact. I can only hope that what I say will remain confidential between us, but that's a risk I must take. The reason why I'm here is simple: I'm looking for allies. Business parters. People obviously more business savy than myself. KVC highly recommended you and your organization, and from what I've heard personally, you've managed to keep the Link Organization afloat through the thick of all this. That's why I am here...."

As Tares Vortex was lead in, Brina returned his firm handshake. "The pleasure is all mine," she replied.

She motioned for her assistant to bring in refreshments for their guest, then after the Twi'lek left the room, listened as Tares got immediately to the point of his visit. She liked him already; she had assumed, apparently wrongly, that he would be like the many businessmen she had already become familiar with during her tenure with the Link. She was glad to see that this was not true.

She pondered what he said. "Your confidence is safe with me, I assure you. I am familiar with Solaris' losses, at least as much as the stocks in your company show."

She paused. "The Link has seen it's losses as well, as I'm sure you know, but since we are such a diverse company, we've managed to, if not make decent profit, at least stay out of the red. This trade embargo is a hindrance," she admitted, "but even in times of disrest, the wealthy always seek an escape. This casino has almost always been a lucrative investment."

There had been a few times when they had considered closing the casino, particularly after the heist of nearly thirteen years ago, but Brina was glad that it had remained open.

"I can speak for the entire executive staff when I say that we would be very interested in a business relationship with Solaris Enterprises. What did you have in mind?"

"Well, that's largely up to you." Tares said as he shifted in his seat.

"When Drake left, he took a lot of business expertise and contacts with him. As a result, I need to fill that void with others I know that have such contacts and expertise. So, with the Link, that could at least involve the standard trade agreements, joint business venture, sharing business knowledge etc. However, if the Link, or even you yourself want an actual part in what I'm trying to reestablish with this company, that's possible to. I'm already finalizing a contact with Kheldar that will bring him into a controlling part of the new company. I can offer the same. In fact, I'd welcome it."

Taking a brief pause, Tares allowed himself to sense the life within the casino, "The fact is, the galaxy is too small to take pick a side. Take the embargo for example: it's effectively divided many trade lines that have existed for generations, in half. A company that deals with only one side of the civil war, or no side for that matter, is going to feel the real pain. So this new reorganization of Solaris Enterprises comes with the realization that people with various contacts, various experiences and expertise in running a business in diverse sectors of the galaxy, need to be running this company. Part of that can be accomplished via making business deals with other companies, but most of it will only be gained through having those actual individuals on the board itself. So, as I stated before, it's largely up to you...."

Brina smiled. "Indeed. The benefits of being a neutral faction like the Link, Mr. Vortex, is that according to the peace agreement between the Empire and the Republic, we are technically allowed access to both 'sides'. And we have worked very hard to remain neutral. I was at the talks myself, and was assured that our business would not be restricted."

She paused. "That is not to say that the embargo does not affect us. Sadly, there are many on both sides of the tense truce that do not look upon our neutrality favorably, and therefore, have expected us to abide by the terms of the treaty. However, since they both consider us to be on the other side..." her voice trailed off. "Well, you can see how that would be a problem for us."

She tapped on her datapad, bringing up a few data tables, then set the datapad down and leaned forward. "I'm going to be frank with you, Mr. Vortex. I think an agreement between our two businesses would be beneficial to both of us. If you want to have the same connection with the Link as you are going to share with KVC Enterprises, then that would be perfectly fine. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to enter into standard trade agreements with you."

She sat back in her chair. "You spoke of joint business ventures. Is there something in specific you had in mind?"

"Yes I did" Tares said with a nod, "I should be clear first. KVC enterprises and Solaris enterprises aren't interacting as much as I'm interacting with KVC himself. He wanted a new business venture, and I wanted his business expertise. So the relationship will hopefully be mutually beneficial. I think the same would be true with you."

"As far as the business itself goes, I have a couple of 'get the foot in the door' ideas in mind. Without boring you with the details, the short of it comes down to bacta and tibanna gas. Both are supplies that either the Republic or Empire need thanks to the new embargo. While the supplies of each source are owned by one side or the other, I think it's possible to create new sources. I think there might be a new business opportunity with the idea of terraforming."

Tares sighed for a moment, "Unfortunately, doing both ideas would mean navigating that fine line between the two sides. As you said, there are obvious problems that would come up...."

"Hmmm," Brina mused. The ideas that Mr. Vortex was putting forth sounded like good, if expensive, investments. She wished she could talk it over with Zara, who had much more business expertise than she did, but her friend was still in the hospital.

Of course, another benefit would be helping the galaxy. Already she knew people were suffering from lack of bacta, and while with Tibanna gas less available, both sides were less interested in resuming hostilities, she knew it was only a matter of time. If there was going to be a war, she'd almost prefer it to be evenly equipped, and definately wanted to make sure the wounded on both sides would have access to proper medical care.

She made up her mind. "Those sound like great plans, Mr. Vortex. I think they will be beneficial in bringing business...as well as, of course, humanitarian reasons when it comes to the bacta. Actually," she paused as an idea came to her, "when it comes to the bacta project, you may want to speak to a representative of the Survivor's Foundation. They might be interested."

She shook her head. "Anyway, why don't you go ahead and draw up a contract. I'll look it over, but I'm confident that what we have discussed in this meeting will benefit the Link Organization."

The trip back was uneventful, Kalyani and Zara resting and following the doctors orders for a change. Arriving back at the Casino, their shuttle docked in the staff's docking bay. Kalyani was first off the vessel, anxious to see her younger sister, Mellanie, who had remained at home with their tutor. Kali was missing her twin too. This was the first time they had been separated and her thoughts constanly returned to Kane, wondering how he was, what he was doing and how he was getting on with Julio and Ronin. Ronin had obviously not wanted his daughter hanging around since he had just dumped her at the hospital and not stayed around to see how she was.

With her thoughts having turned towards her brother and what had happened on Coruscant, Kali had slowed down her pace. By the time she opened the door to their quarters, her mother was already inside. Kali went straight to her younger sister, hugging Mellanie and swinging her around. "I missed you Mel. How have you been?"

Mellanie hugged her sister back, clinging to her like she wasn't going to let go. Zara stepped closer, resting a hand upon each of her daughters shoulders before she too was pulled into the embrace. Receiving a comm from the shuttle, Zara took it with her internal chip. Instructions were given for the shuttle to return to the Coruscant Headquarters, the staff member also given other instructions of where to drop off some supplies first before departing.

Finishing the comm discussion Zara went back to enjoying the reunion with her daughters.

Tares nodded, "I had the same thought about the Survivor's Organization. They were pivotal in restoring the Gateway to a working order after the attack. Their intentions are good as well. If they are willing to help out, then success is more likely." He stated.

"I'll have my personal lawyer draft up a contract and send it your way within the day or so. I've got a few more contacts to check in before anything official gets rolling, but I want to act quickly. Kheldar intends to speak with the Emperor about this trade embargo, so once we know more we'll be in a better position to start a business venture. Until that time, I'll keep you informed." Tares finished with a smile.

Extending his hand once again, Tares looked around, "Once again, this station is quite impressive. I'll intended to visit again under less official circumstances. Until that time, thank you for your help...."

Brina smiled. "I'm glad we had this opportunity to meet, and I'm sure that this new partnership will benefit both of our companies greatly." She shook Tares' hand. "I'd invite you to stay for dinner, but I know how busy you must be right now. However, perhaps another time," she added warmly.

As if it were a measure of Brina's own busyness, her comlink vibrated. She smiled again at Tares. "If you'll excuse me. Officer Dringr here," she said, motioning to the Gotal security officer who had stepped in, "will escort you back to your ship, or anywhere else you should choose to visit before you leave."

After a final farewell, Brina headed back to her office, checking her comm on the way. She was startled to see that the comm was informing her of he return of Zara and Kalyani to the Casino. She quickly changed her path, heading instead towards the Nargal family quarters. After Zara's long sickness, Brina wanted to check up on her friend and see if she needed anything.

She gave a knock on the door when she arrived. "Welcome home!" she called out.

(sorry for not posting sooner, life has been real hectic)

"Aunty Brina!!" Kalyani released her younger sister and her mother, racing towards her Aunt and throwing her arms around her enthusiasticly. She hadn't told her mother about what happened with Ronin yet. There really hadn't had much time to, even on the trip back. Not with feeling tired from the medications she still had to take until she was feeling more herself again.

Turning around to Zara she asked, "Mother, can you make an appointment with the doctor for me." The blonde haired witch stepped closer, resting her hand upon her daughters shoulder. "Already done sweetheart. You'll see the doctor tomorrow morning."

Turning towards Brina she added, "It's good to see you Brina. How was your trip away?" She let her hand slide off Kalyani so she could embrace her best friend.

((Sorry I have not posted in a while, but when I saw people coming back I couldn't let you guys have all the fun now could I?))

Idejjen was once again doing one of his periodic rounds consistent to the Link's floor plan, but as if his insides pulsed all at once, his body swelled with an entertaining sensation. At this time Idejjen was entertaining a full bodied Twi'lekk look, but even in a different form Idejjen knew it when Zara was home. The large green Twi'lekk then quickly changed course and assigned another to fill his role for the time; the whole process took a matter of one minute as Idejjen simultaneously raised his comm to his mouth, spoke and marched down a familiar hallway.

The Nargal's quarters were of second nature to Idejjen as his feet led a methodical mantra that they knew all to well. Then again, the entire Casino had become very familiar to him in his time just marching about the complex; it was to the point that if Zara put him on one side of the Casino and raced him to the next, Idejjen might just beat her there... Maybe... Then again there were access areas that even he couldn't get to.

Reaching the door with a precedence of several heavy footfalls the creation knocked idly at Zara's door and waited in ambush for a rather hearty bear hug.

_____----____----_____

Wiping the heavy sweat from her brow as she looked upon a now finished cadaver, Ida smiled at her now finished creation. This one, although provided with a menagerie of physical parts, was made mostly out of cybernetics. In fact, one could say that it was about 65% cybernetics and 35% organic, but all in all it looked stunning. It came to this when Ida's frustration level rose because the bodies provided were starting to fall apart. Now, with a slight Frankenstein-ish touch, Ida rushed over to the switch in the back corner of the room in an Igor like fashion and threw it down, surging the creation with an inordinate amount of electricity. Immediately the wires attached to the creation flashed bright with a white energy and the creature upon the table thrashed.

The surge of power to that one spot almost blew a fuse though, causing a great deal of the Casino's lights to go out for one moment, but the black out wasn't permanent. Ida was sure they had back up lights and even then the regular lights came back on rather quickly after the procedure was finished.

Ida took a moment of pause as the steam rose from the cadaver, but saw no movement in its body. Slightly disappointed, Ida slowly approached her creation and wondered to herself if the cybernetic brain had overloaded. Then, as her feet neared the bed, Ida felt a slight shock as if her shoes filled with barbs of wire.

The scientist tried again with a more timid flourish this time, but the same sensation didn't repeat. However, the being on the table was moving...

Ida gasped slightly with a sated excitement and danced about as the proverbial droid raised her head and looked from side to side.

"Whe-where am I?" the creation uttered in a robotic laden, but sultry tone.

"You're exactly where you are supposed to be?" said Ida with a smile and wink as if the creation knew exactly what she was talking about.

"Who are you?" it asked as its glowing blue eyes scanned heavily the being before her.

"Why I'm your creator of course... You can call me Mom... Or Ida if you want" regurgitated Ida as if she were herself made of metal.

"I-d-a?" said the Metallic creation as it pushed itself further from its bed.

"Yes, and I think you will be called... Idana... No, hmmm I just have a thing for Id names don't I? How about..... Idarah!" Ida finished as she proceeded in a rather cliche thinking pattern followed by an inevitable epiphany performance.

"Id-arah?" the new creation uttered as if in tandem with her creator, "I like it".

"I thought you might' Ida continued with a wide smile covering her face, looking at her creation with a large swell of innermost pride. "Now, let's not waste anymore time... We need to get you learning as quickly as possible and I think we'll have you ready to show yourself by this time next week."

Brina grinned as Kalyani threw open the door and gave her an enormous hug. "It's so good to see you again, Kalyani!" she exclaimed, returning her 'niece's' hug. She also gave Zara a hug. It had been too long since they had seen each other, and they certainly had a lot of catching up to do.

"My trip was nice. Good to get away now and then. I know I wasn't gone long, but it was refreshing and rejuvenating." Brina was, however, more interested in the Nargal women. "But how are you two feeling? Had I known you were about to be released from the hospital, I would not have been in business meetings when you returned!" Her tone was only lightly chastising. "Did they ever figure out what went wrong? I assume the fact that they released you means they discovered a cure?"

Melanie, meanwhile, had insisted on being part of the hugs too, and after giving her other niece a hug, Brina glanced around. "Where is Kane? Did he not decide to come back with you two? I heard he wasn't in the hospital with you."

Just then, the lights flickered. Brina frowned; that was not supposed to happen. However, as if on cue, the chime sounded again at the door, and it opened to reveal a Twi'lek. Brina looked him over closely, then smiled. "Hi Idejjen. Have you come to tell us that the power flicker has to do with Ida's experiments?"

The large creation frowned at his foiled attempt at surprise in conjunction with the instantaneous power outage. He knew something was developing in Ida's lab, but he hadn't a clue as to her progress. His creator was always an existent and persistent reminder that floated in his psyche prodding his mind to do things, but he could never really tell when or what she was doing or thinking. He could feel vague shifts in her composure and countenance, but nothing that couldn't be familiar with people who shared a good relation with each other...

Something in his gut though told Idejjen that Ida was just about done and as if in answer to his sudden epiphany the lights came back on, rewarding him with a once again exposed hiding place. Giving up on his little routine, Idejjen just settled on a normal hug to Brina as he slowly lumbered in to the doorway. "Nah, I was coming by to give Zara an attack bear hug, but I can see my attempts were pointless. I get the feeling she might be wrapping up though. I can vaguely remember the same reaction occurring before I woke up for the first time. Only my creation was in Coruscant and she took out the power of an entire chunk of the city for a certain amount of time... Let's just say she had a fire extinguisher nearby. " Idejjen chuckled slightly as the joke hovered within reach.

"We will know when she wants us to know though; she will unveil it to us..." said Idejjen with an idle curiosity stretching to the rest of the room. Idejjen remembered all of the Nargals well, but some had grown a bit since he'd last saw them. "So how is everyone doing?" Idejjen asked with a genuine concern although his face was branded with a smile.

_______----____----_______

(( full read out on Idarah specs (pros and cons) ((and still waiting approval)))(Ida inherited her parent's wealth --- money for the project))

"Pfft... What was I thinking. Your mind is half computer, you'll be ready by later today if I play my cards right" exclaimed Ida as she came around with a few holodisks labeled with various lessons and things. Then, lifting up one of Idarah's reflective metal lekku, Ida begun the arduous task of uploading the information and burning it into the droid's databanks.

Watching the speed of the download made Ida smile as she admired the speed and precision of her own craft. "Yeah" laughed Ida, brushing a few strands of her orange hair from her face, "You'll be done soon Hun."

Then, to pass the time away, Ida practiced the droid's motor skills to see if it could perform similar humanoid movement and if the hover function was working properly. Normally the droid would be able to hover about 2 feet from the ground consistently and swap between aerial movement and ground movement, but right now for some reason a part was missing and Ida just could not seem to find it. However, the droid's walking skills were fairly stiff, but nominal at her origin stages and her finger movements were amazing.

Every limb of the droid that wasn't made with organic parts and laden with a cybernetic frame was out of a reflective yet dense steel. The joints of each droid limb were on a rotor so she could not only rotate her limbs completely, but she could bend them both ways. Idarah's head was on a rotor at the neck and could turn all the way around as well. Also, for full functioning flexibility each metallic finger or toe had scoops to them as in each part was composed of a different metallic fragment that were rounded at one end and indented on the other to fit properly and allow for a wide range of movement.

The droid could hold an large amount of memory and serve as a pertinent computer tool should the need require, but it was substantially lacking when it came to combat. After-all it really was just a pumped up elegant version of a protocol droid with some organic parts...

It could however perform some other functions that normal droids could as well. For instance, she could serve as a medical droid and issue medical treatments or an astromech droid and serve as an automated mechanic.

Just when the few diagnostics were completed and Ida was checking things off on her clip board, the holodisk download was finished and Ida was popping another one in to replace it. "Wow... You just learned all the galactic languages in," Ida quickly raised her arm to her face, realizing there was no watch there... "Damn" Ida looked quickly about, regretting the fact she hadn't familiarized herself with this room although she'd been there for some time. Then, after a few minutes she found a timer on Idarah and realized that the download had only taken an hour. "Wow..."

"I guess you really need only a few more holodisks then huh?" said Ida within a quirky look of content. Ida paused for a moment looking at her newest creation in all its reflective beauty. It's eye shutters were closed for the moment, indicating a download, but she saw before the purity of sapphire that pierced through and marveled again at its nostalgic sheen.

Ida figured, just by looking at Idarah, that she'd be enough of a replacement for Idejjen so Ida could return to her work. She was riding her breakthrough in reworking human parts and mechanics to match for a more effective cybernetic system, but staying in the Casino to keep her creation company would be a pleasant waste of time and crash her ride into the side of a Coruscant skyscraper. She'd enjoy the relaxation and time away, but she devoted her life to her craft and wished that Idejjen would understand.

~~~~~~~~~~~5 hours later~~~~~~~~~~~~
Idarah's databanks were filled most of the way with vital information as to her functions and now, in all of her glory, Idarah was ready to be taken on a field test. So, taking into question the newly repaired hover system, Ida requested that the droid initiate it and begin to hover about the Casino to test its work ability. Ida instructed not to go to far into the Casino so as not to attract unneeded attention, but she could flex her boundaries a little and get used to her new home.
Idarah looked about for a moment and then lifted, with a few sputters, two feet into the air. Then, the droid started to float in a stoic manner out through the lab's entrance and soar through the halls a small distance, clearing a few established checkpoints that were set for her to clear. Then, as if a brick wall crossed her, Idarah stopped in mid air and swiveled around to over back to the lab and set right back down.
"Good" Ida hinted as she checked something on her board. "Now, lets see your EM wave"
In a moment or two a small area around the droid lit up faintly. Ida, wanting to test the power rating held out an instrument with rubber tongs and read the varying levels of power fluctuations as the distance to the droid grew. Then, the droid's wave stopped and her power was largely depleted.
"Once again good Idarah... Now, since I know you can walk, talk and all that jazz, let's see how effective you are at your alternate functions. This will be one final test but it will compose of several trials in and of itself" Ida orated as she pointed her finger up into the air, plaintively insinuating that she had something to prove.
"Now, to start, I have a tractor beam device here that is in sorry need of repair. GO!"
Immediately Idarah set to work, her metallic arm opening up into several different tools and the cybernetic half of her mind setting up images on her HUD to establish the different pieces and parts that were inefficient or needed intense repair. Then, she set about cutting several wires, reconnecting a few electrical panels and finally soldering the metal plates back on to the device.
10 minutes seemed to pass by quickly as Ida watched her creation work and almost forgot that she was supposed to test the device in question after its repair. So, picking an item in the room at random, Ida pushed up the device and fired it. A green beam like phantom emitted, but did as it was told; it grasped the mug on the table and lifted it a good foot off of it. However, in some time, a small little fixture of steam began to pour from the cup as it appeared the beam began to do some apparent damage...
"Hmmm, may need to rework and tweak that then," Ida said checking off on her clipboard once more. "Now... I have a wound on my right arm."
"But master... no you..."
Ida quickly grabbed a knife from the tray nearby and painfully scraped a rather large gash on her arm...
Oh the things I do for science she thought to herself as her knees started to buckle...
"Now go..." Ida exclaimed with failed enthusiasm as her blood began to move rapidly, causing her head to swim.
The droid moved quickly, its fingers and arm once again becoming instruments, but this time instruments associated with medicine.
Ida was fading and her stability waning, but with a Tourniquet ripped from the scientist's lab coat, some rapid stitching and a little bit of anesthesia, Idarah manged to stabilize Ida and keep her on her feet.
"Whoa... Ok. Never doing that again" Ida said out loud, "but that was a good run. Next time I might recommend bacta patches, but I see none nearby so I am glad you were able to use the resources you could." Ida finished as her balanced wobbled once more, indicating to her that it could fail at any moment.
"Now, the final trial of your final test... Recite a limerick of Twi'lekk make, using the Wookie native tongue, Huttese, the transdoshan native tongue, all of the twi'lekk language variations, Mandalorian and any other language you feel like throwing in yourself."
Naturally Ida couldn't understand half of these languages, but she was on standby with her datapad to make sure each word was at least loosely comprehensive. It seemed like Idarah was ready for this trial and was eager, but stalled for a moment before letting out a rapid bought of the same performance.... Hmmm... I think she might be low on power, Ida thought as she looked once more, noticing the eyes of her creation fading to the gray associated with her mechanical eyelets.
The trials and tasks were complete though and although stillness laid bare in the arid lab, Ida moved her creation to once corner and plugged her into the nearest outlet to charge. The process wouldn't take long, but it would be just enough time for Ida to make her final tweaks and set up a time to reveal her to Idejjen and the rest of the Link staff.
As Brina answered her question with regards to her trip, Zara inclined her head. "I'm glad you enjoyed your break. As for our health, I'm fit as a fiddle and we'll find out how Kalyani is when she sees the doctor tomorrow," a wink followed her words as if she was refering to an inner joke. "I'm hoping that the reports sent through to our doctor will tell us their findings."
"No, Kane wasn't at the hospital with me. He's still with Ronin as far as I'm aware." Kalyani answered, making eye contact with both her mother and with her Aunt Brina. "Ronin practically dumped me at the hospital... literally really. He ejected my seat from the vehicle towards the hospital and I crash landed through the glass ceiling panel." Kalyani figured that that piece of news had travelled around Courascant quick and lively. "Neither Father or either of my brothers came to see me." Now Kalyani's tone showed how hurt she had been by that fact. She had no idea where Ronin had taken Kane - or Julio - other than the fact that they were going to some kind of strippers bar.
When the lights flickered Zara stretched out with her senses to make sure there was no threat to them, in the process reading who was just outside the door as it similtaneously chimed. As Brina opened the door Zara grinned up at Idejjen, waiting for him to answer Brina before she stepped closer with a laugh, "You should know you can't sneak up on me in the Force Zone. Your Force sense is very unique you know" the latter was added with a laugh.
"Excellent," Brina replied. "I'm glad to hear that you both seem to be completely recovered." She didn't comment on Kalyani's description of how she ended up in the hospital. It wasn't her place, even though she was not at all surprised. She wanted to tell the girl that it was just the way her father was, but she didn't expect she would take that news well. It was something she had to learn the hard way. Besides, Brina thought, Zara probably wouldn't like to hear her friend's condemnation of Ronin; for a long time, Brina knew, Zara had still cared for him.
But that was old news now, and Brina only patted Kalyani on the shoulder. "Well I hope at least you had an interesting time getting to know your father and half-brother a little."
The red-head turned back to Zara. "Well, I need to get back to work. I'm almost caught up with everything I missed while I was on vacation, but not quite. And there is a business trip I have to make soon, so I need to look into arrangements for that." She nodded a farewell to Idejjen and gave her two nieces quick hugs before heading to the door.
"Maybe we can have dinner together, Zar," she said, glancing back. "I'll see you later."
Her mind turned away from their reunion as she headed towards her office save for a lingering feeling of happiness. She got to work immediately, making preparations and generally taking care of business.
((I still need one more Mod's permission, but for now I think 3 out of 4 is acceptable. I just need KvC))
"Yeah," Idejjen said as he half shrugged and rubbed his head, slightly massaging an itchy spot right underneath his right lekku. "How is everyone after their time away from home though?" Idejjen repeated as if simultaneously to Brina's already answered curiosity. The creation was pleased that the Nargals were home, but genuine concern for his boss and closest friend shone through his tone and amber eyes ans they gazed upon Zara's own.
<<< BBBEEEEEEEEEEPPP >>>
Idejjen fumbled his datapad slightly as a shrill beep cascaded harshly into his eardrums. It took him a few minutes to compose himself based on the large yet quick gyration, but there he stood looking down at his data pad with a smile.
-____--____-+-____-++-____-+++-____-++-____-+-____--____-
Ida sighed happily as she stood watching her newest creation charge once again after a second bout of educational training. Her eyes were shuttered, but Ida knew that millions of calculations pressed through her mind at only microseconds of length. The cyborg's mechanical parts were all fully functional and it seemed that although she was fairly fragile in places the droid in its entirety was soundly assembled and able to withstand a decent amount of trauma.
So, in the coming glee and merriment of it all, Ida took her Data Pad from her lab coat and beeped Idejjen like she'd done many times before, but this time sent a message asking him and anyone who wanted to, to report to the lab as quickly as they could for a fantastic unveiling. Then Ida walked slowly to her creation and lifted up one of the metallic lekku to reveal a charge completion bar.
The charging process was quick and would be done by the time they got there she thought as she watched her droid climb to the peak of its performance.
Somehow it didn't surprise Zara at how Ronin had dropped her daughter at the hospital. She squeezed Kalyani's shoulders gently in a comforting embrace, "Typical" she murmured under her breath.
Turning to Brina, Zara agreed with her, "Yes we'll have to have dinner. I've got quite a bit of work to catch up on myself. I'll see you later" Zara farewelled her friend and turned towards Idejjen again, giving him a smile.
The beep interupted anything she was going to say. Her daughters both let go of her at the same time, heading over to the lounge chair. Zara's eyes followed her eldest daughter, concerned that she needed to rest. She murmured a few instructions to the tutor before she turned back to Idejjen, motioning for him to walk with her...
"Right" Idejjen said with a smile, "I suppose I can catch up later... After you?" Idejjen said as his hands motioned out the door that Zara already seemed to be heading towards. Idejjen admired her enthusiasm and followed quickly behind her as they roamed the Link hallways quickly til their march led them directly to Ida's lab where the redhead was supposedly eagerly waiting for the pair...
"Ah," the bio engineer yelped as she almost dropped her clipboard in clumsy duress. "I must admit I didn't expect you two that quickly, but she is almost done downloading anyway so I suppose its fairly harmless to let you see who exactly will be here in my stead while I continue my work back in Coruscant."
Idejjen's heart sunk and his eyes hollowed for a moment as the thought of Ida leaving consumed him, but as his eyes swelled with big tears Ida came over to the big creation with a warm smile and fell into him with a large maternal hug. "You won't be alone," she said half thinking about Idarah and looking at Zara simultaneously, "there are people who will take care of you here and you can come visit me whenever you like... I'll write often..." she said as Idejjen struggled for a moment if he should let her go or not.
"Anyway- as I was saying" Ida continued after kissing Idejjen on the cheek and loftily drifting through his arms back to the center of the lab, "Here is Ida-rah!!!" the bio engineer indicated with a wave of her arms. Ida went over to a lump that seemed to be covered by sheet and pulled it back to reveal a beautiful machine of exquisite make.
"She'll be able to do almost anything you'll need except for shoot people... She is not equipped for battle situations and only has an emp as far as offense goes, but its a wave that serves as short range from her body and even then it requires a great deal of her power". Ida walked over to the machine and lifted one of its lekku up to reveal that her personality protocol had been fully uploaded.
"And now", Ida said, anxiously searching and then consequently pushing a tiny button on the droid that wasn't easy to place. The entire deal took her several minutes to perform, but once she pushed, it the reflective beauty came to life.... Literally ...
The moment Idarah's eyelets sparked with their familiar blue light, a "smile" seemed ((since you can't really see her mouth (covered by a plate) you don't necessarily know her expression)) to cross her metal expression and she shot from her bench in excitement. "Happy birthday!" she exclaimed for no reason other than to proclaim it...
Ida pushed her palm lightly to her face and led the droid to Idejjen so he could get a closer look. Idarah wasn't really paying that much attention at first and it wasn't until her body started to move involuntarily that she really seemed to change that attitude. For a moment though, as Idarah crossed and stopped right in front of Idejjen, nothing was said as the two creations stared right at each other. Then Idarah blurted out in a rather cute voice, "you are huge Idejjen, " she emphasized with a grand arm movement, "how'd... how'd you get so big?"
Ida sighed for a moment with a rather large smile on her face and told Idarah, "I built him that way".
"Oh, right right" settled Idarah as she continued to look at Idejjen in awe.
Idejjen looked at the machine and wondered exactly how this droid would replace Zara and as if in answer to his confusion Idarah asked him, "would you like to see what I can do?"
Idejjen didn't say anything and instead nodded in eager wonderment of what was to come. Idarah told each of the people in the room to stand back a decent distance and in a matter of about 30 minutes managed to show them all of her droid functionality including her medical procedures on a nearby cadaver.
After the demonstration Idejjen's suspicions were cleared and he too was awed by the small droid, "She's great Ida, but do you really have to leave?" Idejjen noted once more as Ida began towards the door, the demonstration having concluded.
Ida nodded sullenly, but gave the creature another large hug before she started toward her room and made further her attempts toward packing and leaving (this is the last post with Ida)...
