Shaking his head at rahalin, who had just left a dock that had been closed by blast doors somehow, he sent him a comm quickly.

"Im afraid the hangars were all closed for a reason... We arent taking off yet, were loosing fett first. Im afraid ill have to comm you when we end up wherever we go."

Tapping on his wrist console, kat activates the jamming signals on all frequencies, including staff frequencies, before tapping in a set of co-ordinates, and making a second jump to hyperspace, once again in a random part of deep space. Saving the co-ordinates to another datapad, he quickly erased them from the security computers, before pocketing the datapad. There was no way fett could have followed.

Rahalin felt the blasts digging into the hall. Damage warnings flash across various cockpit screens. In short order the skilled bounty hunter had disabled one rear shield generator and damaged another. Backups immediately came on line to replace them, but at not nearly the same strength as before.

Concern flooded his dark features for but a second only to be replaced by intense concentration as he took his YT-2450 through a series of twists that made the hull of the craft creek and dug furrows in his skin from the belts holding him to his command chair in the decreased inertial dampening fields.

In a strained, gasping voice, Rahalin commanded his co-pilot to begin a burst transmition to the holonet contain a recording of all that went on after the Casino entered hyperspace and the jamming ceases. Included in the broadcast is the identities of all the actackers and their known allegiances, including Fetts and the bounties now posted on all of them.

You might have lost him, thought Rahalin, except first he would have put large holes in places where you didn't want them. Instead of course, he's now attempting to put them in me."

The twists however are not designed to put distance between the two craft, but instead designed to bring them within less than a half kilometer heading dead on towards each other. Only the turreted ion cannons are firing, and they quickly disable the other freighters front shields, then fall silent.

Before Fett can move away, Rahalin activates a lever clearly installed after the ship's original manufature. Its simply marked SLAM. Thanking the outlaw engineer whom had equipped the ship with the system and left the tractor beam outside the energy loop, he moved the lever to arm and pressed a stud on his yoke.

Immediately, the energy stored in the capacitors of the various weapons is dumped directly to the engines, surging the freighter on a direct collision course for his opponents freighter. Rahalin is now depending on the computer to activate his tractor beam long enough for it cause shock damage to the Bounty Hunter's ship but not long enough to too terribly damage his.

He notes their closing speed and swallows audibly. The two ships are closing at a combined rate of nearly .9c with his ship taking a pounding from Fett's guns even as they close. Rahalin rotates his ship to bring his ship above the bounty hunters, but with the tractor emittor aimed directly at the other's cockpit. The ship soon hums with the activation of the tractor beam and Rahalin smiles briefly as he watches a swathe being torn through what he hopes are delicate components.

Barely have the passed when Rahalin orders his copilot to get the hyperspace computer up and running and plot them a way out of here. He does not wish to run yet, but he knows that having his options open is always a good idea. As the copilot begins the calculation for a random jump anywhere, he deactivates the SLAM system and begins pouring energy back into the weapons systems, all the while sacrificing velocity to turn his ship back towards the bounty hunters. He grunts in suprise when he notices that they are nearly four kilometers apart.

Fracas continued blasting in all directions, joining up with a holo-group in their likeness. They fired their weapons at the guards, who were reluctant to fire back, unsure of who was corporeal and who was not.

"Where to now?" He shouted to his leader. Marcus was quickly joined by three facsimiles of himself, all of which mirrored his every move.

The Pantha was ready for when Kat arrived, but Zara decided she had other ideas. She wanted to confront them. She ducked into the armory on the ship, grabbing her blades, daggers and blasters before locking it all up and leaving a note for Kat on a datapad on the pilots chair if she didn't run into him on the way out. She left the ship, locking it up and turning to one of the security personal.

"If Kat gets down here, tell him I'm going after them. Let Sabian and Brina know too."

Since internal comms were now jammed she would take her chances. It was better than sitting round doing nothing. Last reports said that they were in the holopark. She would probably find them gone from there once she got there, but hell. She could now feel the force but she didn't have to rely on it for her skills with weaponry, she was going to test her senses and go for it. She stopped another staff member, telling them to find Tekkan and Triple Helix and let them know she was on her way to the theives last known location, that being the holopark.

Firstly though she sprinted through the service corridors, bipassing the main areas until she reached the apartment level. She entered her special clearance codes before entering, making sure that it was set to change to random codes that her encrypted coding generator could respond to. She opened her penthouse door, Rascal meeting her at the door.

"Ok Mister... lets go get em ay..."

The big cat responded to her with something akin to a rumbling purr turned growl. She laughed slightly and broke into a run again, the big cat by her side. The finally reached the holopark, the guards saying that they thought they were still inside. Zara removed the leash from Rascal and drew her blaster, setting it for stun before slipping inside the park.

3HX, his pirate cohort, and an escort of five more guards had begun to move to intercept the heist group when suddenly the distracting (and in truth also somewhat disturbing) illusion of the holo-park washed over the whole casino. The droid could tell even without his sensors which items were real and which weren't, but he suspected it might be a bit more difficult for his human counterparts, so he took the lead, using the security feed from the cameras, and the trail of dead bodies to guide him. Along the way, several more guards joined the party, and the droid also retrieved one of the blaster rifles from a downed guard.

Common logic told him, however, that it would be most difficult to catch the escapees from behind, and the group needed to head them off, so the droid took a trip down one of the side halls, down a shortcut that would provide a nifty little spot for an ambush”¦

The droid noticed that the closer he got to the group of real escapees, the more illusions there were that crowded the halls. But they were all fakes, the droid could see through their disguises easily. As he approached the ambush spot, his vision split to show regular and infrared- the holos were now all but invisible to him. Finally, the droid motioned for those following him to stop. They were at the top of a small stair, which joined the main hall at its base. His enhanced audio could faintly pick up the sound of running footsteps, and sure enough, soon a barrage of laser blasts zoomed past them- towards those attempting to escape. They were almost upon them. He whispered, barely audible above the confusion that was going on around them.

”œAim for the ones I shoot at. They're real”¦”

- There was a slight disturbance about the situation. The moment he heard the engines go to a roar, he sensed the figure of his apprentice moving away from the hanger. First insight was one based on something that may have happened on board, perhaps something painful. He was concerned none the less. One hand raised to his forehead, a small film of sweat peering across his brow. He certainly did not want to leave Brina so suddenly again, nor did he wish Zara to go into any unneccessary trouble beyond his bounds of interaction. -

- With a heavy sigh, the young Jedi Knight raised his head close to Brina's with a very apologetic, torn facial expression that tried to remain somewhat lively and upbeat by smiling to a small degree.. -

"..I'm so sorry, but I reluctantly have to leave once again. I feel there are pressing matters that require my attention dealing with Lady Nargal. There may be a new change of plans.. Something more direct, I am not sure.

You are free to accompany me to find what the matter is, otherwise I'd advise waiting in the ship for more word."

- He tried to remain as friendly and humble as possible, part of his experience as ambassador coming into play. It taught him how to deal with the present and improvise quickly while still remaining order. Graciously bowing his upper torso to her, the young man slipped out from the YT-modeled fighter and began to pace back the direction he felt Zara' presence wander off to.. -

- A few minutes would pass to where he could see her standing from across the hall, already sensing a bit of heavy judgement within her mind that was not entirely pure. Yet, the act itself could be justified in a more revenge scenario, one that still perserved dark feelings. His main role was to keep this sense from overtaking her, righting the path to true knowledge and pure feelings rather than temporary empty ones. -

- One smooth hand rested upon Zara's shoulder as she began to make her way into the hollow chambers of the holoroom where most the fighting and skirmishs took place between guards and robbers alike.. -

- ..In a smooth voice, he closed the one revealed eye and spoke clear over the occassional blaster fire and explosions occuring in the background. -

"Going somewhere without me..?"

- He forced a smile upon him, finding the situation a tad humorous as most intense, dangerous things had to be dealt with in order to keep sanity. Yet, the young Jedi Knight did want to keep a sense of dignity and seriousness, soon after his features falling short of the smile and turning cold with a more expressionless tone. -

"From now on, please notify me on when you rush into battle, blaster at the ready. While I understand why you wish this to be, you must keep in mind what I have taught you.."

"Your feelings can betray you, do not be controlled by them out of anger or revenge for what they have done to you. It will tread the path of the dark side if left unchecked.."

"..Let your mind be at peace, focus on the world around you, than act to it's will, mixed with that of your own true will.. That is the way of the Jedi."

- At this point, he reluctantly revealed for the first time the concealed lightsaber located deep within the reigons of his unifroms, tied to his belt and hidden with the lining of his cloak normally. One hand brushed away the lining of the cloak before drawing up the metallic sphere into the light, adeptly slipping it into the full form of his palm and holding it down at his side. -

"For now, I will protect you with all my being.. Stay alert to my motions and try gathering your strength solely from the Force."

"Your blaster may not be as extensive as a tool to say a lightsaber with the Force, but it will give you enough time to pratice using it as this tool in order to keep yourself more calm, accurate and more deft with its pratices."

- It was at this point that the full spectrum of the lightsaber flashed into being at the quick release of the control by his leading hand's thumb. A long, illuminated blade drew from it's confines, drew out in a fiery mixture of passionate yellow and orange color. As his wrists subtly pulled it around to cover his figure, slightl slanted to provide full coverage and the quickest line to defend a surprise attack. -

- Most of all, he kept his mind clear and open, allowing himself before the battle to drain clear of all other thoughts and emotions he may have felt before hand. A simple breathe was all that was needed to release these things set his mind on a clear and righteous path. The young Jedi Knight's body now a vessel to the highest extent of his own knowledge within the Force's stream. -

The change of clothes would be enough to have mattered, if it were not for the former assasin droid that was leading the assault, the Jedi Knight and the large panther stalking them. In the Sith Master's mind, there was also Tekkan Raas and Lady Nargal... but their threats were lesser in comparison to the present moment. Of course, the unarmed Sith would admit in his heart of hearts and mind of minds Ganelon's plan could save them, but the time for non-violent interaction was drawing to a close... so, he'd unleash the only weapon he knew he had, but... he'd keep it a little civil.

It was the droid's blazing blaster rifle that perked the most attention, the stalking beast was... the least of his troubles and the Jedi Knight was too far behind the motley of enemies closing in fast. He smirked, the time for his living deception was drawing to an end and much like drawing his cloak to expose his face... the Sith let the Force know what was about them... and there was no better way than to bend it to his will. A storm cloud burst overhead, the very static ionizing the air and changing the air's consistency within the holopark. In a brilliant flash of electricity, all of the guards fell to their knees and the droid was blasted firmly in the chest. The impact, while incapable of affecting the droids interior gadgetry did knock him firmly back and hampered his audio and visual receptors, intermixing with his absorbance of sound and light particles... his organic counterparts were none-so-lucky... their minds were frozen blank and caved-in. Their bodies lay seated, unconscious and basically, flash-retarded incapable of motion and drooling...A murder rap is so hard to get off my back...

Despite it's distance, the lumbering beast, primitive and dangerous by nature was ideally what John was looking forwards as a larger distraction in the physical, sensible realm. The storm cloud overhead continued to rage, but it was soon losing its impetus, he'd need to play with the beast. He could feel something else in its mind, a bond... and bonds through the Force were quite amusing things, he'd have to know... considering the intensity and frequency of the ones he held. It was strange though, to ponder why anyone would bond with a beast above sentients... Dathomir witches did it... but they were a sect of Darksiders and more importantly women... which made them incomprehensible in his mind. Nevertheless, he bombarded the beast with thoughts... thoughts bent on targeting the droid.

It was then, that the beast's mind opened itself... it was strange and primitive, which made it the perfect ploy, as the organic monster was forced into a lulled state... before it's new prey became Triple Helix.

Cutting his losses, he figured one final egotistical blow would be nice... You were right to suspect, Jedi, today you may have won the battle, but we reap the reward. Coruscant may not favor so well... His sinister voice faded as did his presence, the newly disguised Crew continued to run for it... leaving a disoriented droid, an angered panther and a slightly perturbed Obi-wan clone.

OOC: None of that was meant to be offensive... but it was in good humor. And... edit for specifics... and no one has been physically-harmed, nor has your panther suffered any damage. His instincts have been temporarily curbed to make his ability to hunt slightly impaired and targets a bit more sketchy, namely aiming for Triple Helix. The "lulled" state was not much else than a pause while the insidiousness of his manipulation takes effect. A few minutes and nothing more. Other than that, Triple Helix has suffered no major damage either, just impairment to his tracking senses. The Guards themselves should be fine, too... they have just lost the sense of what they're doing and won't snap out of it until the Cloud fully disappears...or John gets off the Casino.

(( Zara had "Rascal" at her side still, she hadn't released him to chase you guys, he was there just to protect Zara and she couldn't very well hang onto the leash and her blaster without being pulled from her feet or her arm out of her socket . From Sabian's post - stopping Zara - they have not quite entered the park. Being also that the large cat is going to be to Zara what the rancors are to Dathomir witches - and has already started to bond with the cat - I don't want the big cat killed/mind damaged or harmed (Just like Bekka doesn't want to be harmed because of the child she's carrying)

**Thanks for elaborating Mark. I left the above part of the ooc so it's known I asked for clarification and for insight to a further storyline with the cat))

Zara felt Sabian's hand on her arm, stopping her before she stepped into the park. "Going somewhere without me..?" She smiled pertly at him, Rascal making a rumbling sound as he pushed against her leg.

"Wasn't sure you'd want to come... besides, I have Rascal with me. And I did let you know where I was going... since comms are down I asked one of the staff to let you know. I wasn't hiding what I was doing by far..."

She felt like she was being thoroughly chastised. She hadn't thought she was letting her anger or need for revenge control her actions. She simply didn't want to sit back and wait for them to escape with all their hard earned credits without at least making an attempt to go after them. She also hadn't realised she'd have such an impact on him for doing so.

Zara hadn't even thought to use the Force yet, was just going to rely on her other skills and have the Force there as a bonus of sorts...

"Ok. I'm sorry." She looked down at the big cat by her side, "Looks like we have to behave doesn't it precious."

A half rumble, half purr errupted from him as the golden eyes of the black cat met with her grey stormy gaze. It was like the two were beginning to connect, some bond forming between them. She knew intimately the big cat's thoughts, and was surprised that he was so protective of her as well. She had purchased the panther as a protector companion for both she and her twins but now was more like he was her friend, not her 'pet'. Zara's hand had slipped automatically to the big cat's head to fondle his ears were he liked it most.

"It seems Rascal was in agreement with you. I'm outnumbered. Ok... I'll be good... for a change..."

She elicited a purr from Rascal and a slight smile from Sabian as he recognised her effort to curb her impulsive actions. She closed her eyes for a moment, drawing in a few deep breaths to calm herself... and to open herself to the Force rather than to just trust her instincts. She looked twice as his lightsaber blade sprang forth, she'd never seen a Jedi's weapon 'on' before, had only seen the hilts hanging from their belts. She looked at her blaster and shrugged. She was a natural good shot with it, and felt with the Force her shot might improve even more.

A strange growling sound emitted from Rascal, bringing Zara's attention straight to the big cat. Something wasn't right. He wanted to go on the attack... not stay and defend. He wanted to attack the... droid... to attack 3HX-07, a vision of the droid appearing in the big cats mind. Her hand on his head was all that swayed him. She could feel some dark presence and a cold shiver went down her side, a cold look falling into place as her head turned towards the holopark, glaring in that direction. She fell to a crouch before Rascal, holstering her blaster, slipping the leash back onto his collar and placing a hand on either side of the big cat's head, making him look at her. The leash looped around her arm.

"What is it boy? What's the matter?"

She could feel something else... something dark interfering with her beloved companion... and her anger stirred. Something snapped inside her skull, a hidden memory from her childhood of when she had been in her Aunt's company and she found herself murmuring strange words in her native tongue. Her focus was on Rascal almost to the exclusion of everything else.

The warrior woman, Lantre Nargal stood over a young rancor. A very young Zara stood beside an elogantly dressed woman - her mother - while watching the warrior. The young rancor had just been bound to Lantre, though it was a prize that another wanted. Someone was interfering with the beast and Lantre wouldn't allow it. She began to spell cast, words of magic having an effect on the young beast. The rancor calmed, stayed by her side, didn't go the one trying to steal it....

Her brother hadn't been with her for this visit into the mountains, he'd been left at home with the twins father. And until this moment, Zara hadn't recalled anything of having been there. The words she now spoke were of an animal healing spell. She had witnessed many things that trip, though the memory had been hidden from her. Lantre had been her mother's sister and a Dathomir Witch...

It was like a battle of wills to get Rascal not to go, not to attack the droid. Zara drawing on an unknown strength to keep him by her side. She was not happy with the sith, as this could only have happened though his manipulations. You will pay for this... I swear it on my Aunt's grave you will... The threat floated in her mind as she continued to demand Rascal's focus from wanting to go and attack the triple helix.

Brina watched as Sabian rushed out of the ship once again. Once he was gone, she sighed. She was annoyed with the world right now. This is important, she told herself. It is, it is, it is. I don't know how, but I assume it is.

Her arguements weren't very convincing. "Brina," she said to herself. "You can't just abandon your friends like this, even if you are under orders to stay put! Which are they more, your superiors, or your friends?"

In her heart, she knew the answer. She stood, accessing the security console once again. Internal communications were jammed, but if she rigged it just right...there--a brief flash of the intruders right before the console fizzled again. It was enough for Brina to see where they were.

She quickly exited the ship, leaving it running and warm in case it was needed. She then ran over to her own ship and grabbed her weapons. Pulling her hair back as she went, Brina hurried towards the funhouse...then froze suddenly in her tracks as an idea hit her. She reversed her path, heading towards the public hanger.

Once she arrived, she began to search through the files of incoming ships. There were several in the hanger, and she had no way of guessing which ones were theirs. However, she knew they did have each of their identies on file from the security footage, and she could easily trace them back to their own ships. After a few minutes of working, she had success. They had arrived on three ships, and the computer identified them for her.

Now the fun part would begin. Brina was an expert in this area, but she knew she would have to work quickly.

As Brina begins her approach towards the ships held by the robbers, there is a sudden pressure against her back something round and circular, not more than an inch across. An intuitive guess would suggest it belonged to a sporting blaster. Since the whole hangar was devoid of any signs of the thieves, whom security was still chasing through the funhouse even now?

Off the reflection of the metal floor, one can see no any of the identifiable robbers, but instead a helmed casino security guard, daunting and imposing, soon joined by his comrades in similar uniforms, fabricated by Black Sun just prior to this mission.

The voice that speaks though, barking a short and direct order to Brina, is that of Ganelon.

"Stop what you're doing Brina, and put your hands above your head." He gives an order to the rest of his crew. "Search the getaway ship for any surprises. We have about a good five minutes before security realizes we've slipped under their noses." He addresses Brina again. "I'm sorry abou the inconvenience Ms. Thanlin, but you ended up in the wrong hangar at the wrong time. You'll be going with us a ways to ensure your friends don't try anything rash."

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him." -Mark Twain

- The hollow words of the Sith echoed in his mind, feeling it search his body to try and spark a sense of anger. There was nothing else that felt so empty and dark than the words he uttered, physically causing him to tense up in the defensive form he professed with the lightsaber. Searching his presence out, there was nothing that relayed back to him, the same empty sense that his voice proclaimed associated with that of his leaving presence. -

- Closing his eyes, he finally knew the truth. A Sith had been in leagues with the criminals, perhaps even with Black Sun. While his feeling did lead him in this direction, it showed no value with the current situation. He had left, so with the crew in a cloud of darkness. -

- While this was all going on, there suddenly was a faint cry out in the Force, a feeling he had not sense faced since he had been at the Jedi Temple during the attack. Visions flowed through his mind quickly and rapidly, Brina's face showing up in fear, the element of danger and the dark side all around her. Grinding both rows of teeth down hard, clinching his cheeks, the young Jedi Knight knew he had to act quickly. -

- Calling out to Zara, who now was being enveloped by the current situation due to her closest of companions being controled by the dark side. It was a hard situation, something Sabian could not mend at the time being.. -

"Zara, we must go now!.. Quickly, there is no time to spare. Trust me."

- There was a moment of hesitation in her, the connection to large cat causing this to be so. There seemed to be a second revelation with the young man, there was much to this cat to Zara than originally appeared. They had worked a bound through the Force, a bound that even he was unaware that could happen. -

- He drew himself to be more compassionate now in his voice, at the same time withdrawing the active blade of the lightsaber to close back into the containments of the metallic cylindar-shaped handle. -

"Please.. It involves Brina.. She may be in danger."

- It seemed that the situation was beginning to lighten, the remaining guards that were left starting to quell the beast to be taken to safe quarters. He noticed the change in her reactions, still a bit hesitant about the anger she felt. -

- Nodding in occurdance to her, the two made their way back to the hangar to where the presence of danger was felt. Aided by the presence of the Force, he allowed himself and her to take great speed over the corridors and hallways until they entered the large hangar bay. -

- Visually, he was slightly confused by the uniforms seen as the two made their way towards the ships. It only took a brief moment to tap into their minds, search their feelings quickly, and finding just a hint of all he needed to know. -

- Brandishing the lightsaber within one hand, he drew both palms to curl over the handle and move the end slightly against his stomache, the long yellow and orange colored blade drawing out with a low hum. In a mild mannered tone, he spoke out to the crew about to take off. -

"Hold it right there. Release her at once.. You can not escape."

- Within the presence of the Force, keeping true to his pure feelings, there was hint of anger that he could not deny. Feelings for the woman in hostage and the undying hatred of criminals as a small child came to arise in the situation. Not even his mild nature could keep him from doing the task with neutrality, his eyes truly showing the intensity he felt towards the matter. -

Zara had handed over the leash to a trusted staff member and a security droid. The two would see that Rascal was safely back in the penthouse as Zara quickly followed Sabian to where he felt Brina to be. She had hesitated only slightly at the mention of Brina, and she wondered where Kat was. She over-rode some of Kat's instructions and tapped out some instructions on her wrist console, any ships that did manage to escape would trigger the EMP blast to prevent their leaving.

Her breath was then taken away as somehow her legs pumped faster to keep up with Sabian... and managed it. She could feel the force swirling around her and felt a strange sensation from it and surprisingly arriving only slightly out of breath as they entered the public hanger. Her eyes took in the Link security uniforms, wondering why they were holding Brina at gun point. Looking at her wrist security console she didn't see any of the identifier blips to state that Link personel were in the hanger, apart from the one that showed Brina and herself that was. So that's how they did it... dressing in disguise of our people...

Zara drew her blaster, ready for action. She couldn't see all of the theives that the monitor had picked up so was very much on the alert for where they could be... Meanwhile, other proper Link personel were alerted by the staff member that had taken Rascal back to the penthouse... they would arrive soon...

"Do as the Jedi says and no-one gets hurt. Return what you've stolen from us or suffer the consequences."

She was strangely calm, maybe some of the influence of the Jedi at her side. He did have a calming aura. She was looking carefully to make sure Brina wasn't hurt...

"Arrogance."

He looked at Lady Nargal and the Jedi Knight... he carried no weapons, only that which he roamed with great prowess; you could say it was ironic, by fusing with the Jedi known as Andon, both men's affinity for the Force had strengthened and it was at this moment, John drew a cigarette and lit it with the end of his finger. "You are really in no place to threaten, Jedi, nor is your Padawan whelp, the Casino wench."

He took a long drag and drew the seven inch knife, an eyebrow rising as he knew she was tightening her grip about her blaster pistols... "Such anger in her, you'd think, the Jedi are continually falling apart at the seams." He spun the blade between his off-hand and smirked, "You see... my dear friend, I vanquish galaxies and snuff life with the mere thought of it. I am the face of evil the likes of which you've never faced. While evil can be vanquished, it'd take the likes of very few to do it... and I can name them, your Master Ara, your deceased Masters Gantoris and Akturus, Master Talon and Master Colos. I see none of them... only you."

His insidiousness persisted, "Little woman... you think your pitiful blasters are a real threat? You are looking at the man who shattered your vault. Trust me... overloading your blasters is only a subtle shift of my fingers away. Is that what you want, stumps for arms and fingers that are welded together?"

He stared at them through his empty orbs, grey and hazel shimmering in the fading light of the hangar bay. An eruption of electricity showered the two in sparks as the entire hangar bays power coils exploded leaving them in darkness... Watch your vaunted Force Jedi... it may betray you. The man's presence faded in the Force, only light footsteps tapped from all directions about the two, his movements were swift and almost imperceptible to the most sensitive tracking devices. Only the faint whistle of metal scraping across air would signify his presence, but even that was barely perceptible. The room itself became flooded in the suffocating power of the dark side, snapping at the heels of the present force-sensitives...

"Well, well, well. Arn't you the arrogant one here, as well as a common thief. Yes... by now all your likeness's have been plastered all over the holonet showing what petty criminals you really are. What are the sith coming to these days.", she turned her gaze to Ganelon , "Not to mention noblemen You're all not what you're cracked up to be now are you. Where is your glowrod sith? Lose it? I thought you never left town without it?

I'm not afraid of you, nor am I afraid of Black Sun. You will be brought to justice, either here or elsewhere. Harm me or mine and you will pay dearly. There are more ways than one to bring you down."

She left that threat hanging as sarcasm dripped from her like venom, though did disgard the blaster for her blade as the lights went out. More of her memories were coming forth from her childhood. She didn't know what their parents had done to supress her memories but it was starting to return. The more open she became to the force, especially the dark oppressive sensation the sith master was surrounding them with, the more the visions of her early childhood returned. Her posture straightened proudly and she looked more like her Aunt as a Dathomir Witch than a 'casino wench'. Her haunty look of distain unseen in the dark. He was only a mere man and had no right to the powers he abused.

Zara slipped silently around the hanger, her hearing had always been good without aide of the force and so far she hadn't attempted to tap it, relying on her ingrained instincts instead. She wouldn't use it unless it was neccessary, being that she wasn't trained with it... yet.

Zara was at the clan's community hall with her mother when their clan had been attacked by the nightsisters. The darkness oppressive as they tried to steal the young ones from the hall to twist them to their numbers. Zara was among the youngsters that they were wanting to steal. She saw her mother and aunt briefly argue, then her mother joined in the chanting, defending her from being taken. She had felt something within her mind, something calling her, making her want to go outside. The wind was howling, the dust swirling around outside of the buildings. One child did make it outside, only to be lifted up by the unnatural wind and was taken away from the clan. The call became stronger and Zara found herself moving towards the doorway. Her mother and aunt both grabbed hold of her arms, holding her back. She was one of the lucky ones that had been saved that day. Others hadn't been that lucky.

She remembered another whispered argument going on over her head later that night. Her Aunt and her mother arguing about her not returning to the clan. Her mother refusing to endanger her daughter like that again. The nightsisters raids had been getting more frequent. They had gone there because her Aunt's daughter had been taken the week before, and they had mounted a rescue and returned the cousin to the fold. Her brother had been back in one of the cities with her brother and they had soon after left Dathomir to be brought up on her father's planet of birth.

She continued to slip through the shadows towards where she heard other sounds, other of the theives to be...

Bekka listened from her crouched position behind the ship as John spouted off... she heard his words, "You are really in no place to threaten, Jedi, nor is your Padawan whelp, the Casino wench." , and started to laugh... she did her best to hold it in and keep quiet, but it came in and a choked snort followed by a short laugh and a cough... more to herself, but in the darkness it was louder then a whisper... "can I have 20 in chips with an ale, and I'll take one of those force glowrod sticks you Jedi are so fond of... "

She just could not help herself...

Slicer felt... smothered. It seemed that he was no in the middle of a battle full of super powered beings. And all he had were blasters set on stun. Still feeling really strange he wondered if he should take his shot or not. He had two perfect shots. One of the Jedi and one of the lady who had just shown up. The Jedi still had his lightsaber blazing away he lit up in the darkness surrounding him like a becon of light. However the lady was doing something strange. She moving around in the dark. As She drew closer to him he could see the gleam of a blade in her hand. He decided to take the shot. From his hidden position he fired off two burst at once and then a third one. He had shot to the left and right of the Jedi as well as midway to above the jedi. Since stun bolts weren't really bolts and were more like fields. He knew that the Jedi would get hit even if he jumped. And that was only if you figured he could move faster that the blaster bolt. Knowing he had given away his position he retreated else where onto the dark only to line up with the lady again. Taking two quick shots he decided to move again. It was never a good idea to stay in more than one place.

- The presence was turly overwhelming, perhaps more to Jedi Knight than his apprentice. Part of his mindset was thrown off by the sudden presence of the dark side, an amount he had not been accostumed to in the least bit. The luminous black presence hung over him, causing the young man to stumble to one knee as the cloak he wore draped over his entire body. It was as if he had been punched in the stomache, the wind being knocked out of him. -

- Muscles tensed as he steadily drew power from the gentle nature of the Force to quell what dark presences he felt all around him. Eyes squinted, teeth bared with beads of sweat forming over his brow, black clad boots slowly turning up as he felt his body crane back to standing. Finding a level of clarity to where he could project the dark forces around him to atleast allow him to move, Sabian opened that one eye, starring deep into the abyss. -

"Lady Nargal.. I'd like you to find cover if you can, do not fight against this new foe. He is beyond both yours and mine bounds. Preserve your energy and wait.. I will find her."

- This is all what he would say outloud, while quickly following, he sent her a message through the Force, directly traveling inside her mind and speaking only to her. He took the highest of precautions in the direct feed to be disguised as a mere through the Force rather than a relaying message. -

- He would take a moment to withdraw his lightsaber the sheer moment the hangar bay lights were turned off. Concentrating deeply in a seudo-meditative moment, gathering what energies he could from the everliving Force and acting as a vessel for it, he would slowly drop the cloak along his back to fal silently onto the ground. -

To defend those I care about..

- Breathing in deeply, Sabian would also begin to conceal his presence within the Force. The lining that surronded his body with that of the Force became dull, manipulated to the point where he had masked his own body with that of the Force. His presence would now be no more or less than the ones the Sith alligned himself with. -

- All the while, he was cautious. A couple of well-aimed blaster shots streamed through the air by one of the criminals, streaking the air and hitting the far end of the hangar bay. Accurate as they were, the young Jedi Knight had to remain cautious about them by ducking down, almost grazing him as he did so. At that moment thinking towards Zara safety more than anything. Deep within his mind, he had to perserve his will and let the dark forces around him not take him so easily, closing all his thoughts except the one bent solely upon keeping to the gentle nature of the Force. -

- Both boots padded softly along the ground, searching for Brina's presence and the form of the Sith. He had to remain cautious and fully aware of his surrondings, even admist the pure darkness. His body stayed low to the ground, hands still at the ready with the hilt of the lightsaber still drawn into one palm. The Force would reveal the time for him to move in, when to find Brina, and to try and get away as quickly as possible.. -

Zara ducked under the ship, rolling beneath the it's belly, and behind the landing gear. Her movements smooth and fluid like the panther that had been locked away up in the penthouse that she was unconsciously bonding with. She noted where the laser flashes were coming from in the darkened hanger. She almost laughed, thinking that the one operating the blaster was on drugs and hallucinating something wild, being that it came from the other side of the hanger and was fired in the opposite direction to where everyone else seemed to be... Her cutlass length blade accidentally slicing through some sort of hose beneath the ship, Zara feeling a cool liquid splash her arm, Oops... hope what wasn't important... damn... now I need a new shirt... I just bought this one yesty... glad it wasn't a white one... least black hides the grease stains... Her blade was now not a slick shiny surface, but a darkened one with the oil coating and darkening it.

Her roll brought her to the side of the female she'd heard snorting back laughter after hearing the sith call her a casino wench, Zara's oil coated blade in a position to threaten if she tried to escape. Another sense in the force telling her something that she hadn't expected and as one that had just been in a similar position, she would know. Through the darkness descending both in force and in light, she still couldn't sense anyone else close to the two women's position.

"Hello sweetheart, let me guess, your the sith's wench... right? I know your little secret darlin'... but the thing is, does he?"

Bekka looked into the "whelp's" eye, raising her blaster to point directly at her head... "Bet I can pull this trigger before you cut me... " Bekka felt her mind pushing this female out of it... Dammit... what is with all these damn force sensitives... I am going to have to send out a memo or something. "Sucks you can't get in there doesn't it... if only you could see what I was thinking... "

Bekka looked over the girl... "Wow, you're a mess... I have a pretty damn good dry cleaner... I mean he gets blood out of anything... I am sure he could work wonders with oil... " She was amused the this girl could tell what she already knew... "So you know a secret... you're one of two of us then... "

"Never tried deary, never tried... but body language on the other hand is another matter. As for the shot, I'm sure you could but then this blade would still meet it's mark. So you know of a good drycleaner? Where can I find him?"

Zara rolled her eyes... she knew exactly who the woman was... they had dealt with Ob Ordeena when they had been starting out their business venture.

"I see you've moved up in the world... the sith would be an improvement I'm sure on Ob"

Bekka smiled... "yes, you may be able to meet your mark... but I'm not afraid to die... I don't have as much to live for as you... and those two little bundles of Joy you have... "

She touched her shirt with her free hand... "Man, that sucks... New too huh? He is on Correllia... I swear by him... Jansen's drycleaning... just outside of Correllia city... take it to him, tell him Bekka sent you, and he'll hook you up... "

She laughed lightly at the comment about OB... "I am sure you know the answer to that... I'll tell you it was a lot more enjoyable then him... and longer too"

Zara raised her eyebrows,

"I'll do that, a good drycleaner is hard to find these days." She moved back to the other subject, "After Ob's had been cut off I'm sure he was... so the sith's a good lay is he? The Pirate King's not bad to shack up with either... experienced, knows how to please a woman. Very virile..."

She looked amused,

"Do all your team give away their positions like that? Or have you given them pleasure drugs? You could do better than them... come work for us... benefit's are good, no bounty on your head, only the occasional hassle with rivals..."

Looking the direction the shots came from Bekka rolled her eyes... "Nope, no drugs... they just do that naturally... hmmm, I wonder if this no killing rule applies to your own team members... ???? haha... boss might get upset at that... "

Smiling at the job offer... "Uh... I am currently on an engagement if you didn't notice, but hey... when this is all over... I may offer to help you out with some of those security lapes you seem to have... never know what the future could bring... "

Looking out into the darkness, "you know, I am kind of thirsty... and I finished off my drink before all this go started... and you do realize that now I gotta fix what you broke right...???? you really are making my job a bit harder then it should have been."

"Pity... I'll have to complain to KVC Enterprises about their high tech bungle. Too many bugs in the new system they installed. Sure you won't reconsider? I mean look around you... out numbered, security will be here any tick of the clock, major oil leak... hope your a good mechanic as well as hacker, miss Assassin."

Zara pulled out a flask from her hip pocket and took a swig, handing it over to Bekka, hesitating though,

"Should you be drinking in your condition? Here, have some chocolate instead. This was just imported yesty from Dathomir. Good stuff if I do say so myself."

She pulled out some chocolate from her utility pouch, handing some over.

Bekka took a nibble from it, and thanked her... "mmm, this is good... Dathomir huh... I'll have to get some later." Bekka just raised her eyes at her question of her condition... and took the flask... "Um... lets keep that condition between you and I... the Sith Master is engaged... it was just a fabulous time, and what he doesn't know, won't hurt him... "

After taking a drink, she looked at the girl and extended her free hand... still keeping the blaster on her... "Bekka, and you are? oh, and I'll have to give those pirates a try... virile huh... ?"

She looked over the ship a bit from their position... "Yeah, I'm a decent mechanic too... and hacking is just a hobby... and um... not many know about the other thing, so lets keep that underwraps... "

Ganelon slowly starts backing away, tugging on Brina while still pressing the tip of his blaster tightly against her.

"Fracas," he half shouts, "check on the ship! We need those EMP's disabled and any damaged fixed before we can take off. Slicer, just keep any more rats from getting in here!"

Ganelon was not happy. Things were going so well... if only this stupid girl hadn't shown up they could have fixed up the ship unobstructed and left. He did not really condone taking hostages, but being (according to views other than his own) a snivling coward when his back was against the wall, he wanted the extra security.

"Miss Thalin," he whispers in her ear, "if you can suggest something that will allow us to keep both our hides, I suggest you do so. I'd rather not vaporize something as pretty as yourself for a handful of credits, but I'm not giving up now either."

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him." -Mark Twain

It was a strong pervasive nature that echoed along the hangar bay, the Force could be seen cackling as John's power continued to surge... as if dark snakes suddenly bitten back from the Jedi, he dissappeared into it. It was humorous and he'd speak... knowing who the Jedi was after, he was to save the innocent casino woman.

Be wary of your prey Seneferian, he stalks for you.

Moving amidst the shadows, the still-glowing ember of the cigarette soon vanished, landing in the splish-splash of the growing pool of oil, as he ducked away from it... the belly of the metallic beast erupted in a surging oil fire. A young security guard that had made his way to aid the Casino team fell in face forwards and instantly became immolated, his clothing fibers adding to the fire's strength. It began to supply the heat and light that quickly enveloped the sealed off hangar bay... and by all sense of convenience locked off the Casino Security Team.

John's sinister sense of evil led him to see the approaching amorphous figure of the Jedi in the dim light, he ran bouncing from shadow to shadow in an instant and planting both his boots in the small of his back, casting the Jedi Knight into the ground. "Are all of the younger Jedi as fearful as you or have I just graced a bad batch?"

Twisting the knife, so that the dull edge ran along his arm's length, the slight edge of the blade facing away from him...he made certain the Jedi could see the piercing stare amidst the darkness, as his foot came down hard on his wrist, rolling over it with the bone cracking beneath the force of his foot... "If Ms. Zargal has already plastered my face all over the Holonet, I might as well make it worth a bounty hunter's while, don't you think so? I'd like for a Rebellion man-hunt." The lightsaber was trapped within the man's grasp as the hand that trapped it was under the power of John's boot. "Tell me, is it an Ilum crystal?"

Seeing the oil fire, and the blaze that ensued from it, she looks at the woman next to her... Sighing, she rolled her eyes... this is not what an assassin is supposed to do... this not killing or letting people die is not in my training She used her free hand and knocked the knife out of her hand, and grabbed the back of the shirt and ripped it off her body... grabbing her with both arms, she rolled out from under the ship with her, and as soon as they were a safe distance from the fire, she pushed the girl off her...

The two women stood up, and Bekka looked at her in her brazeere... she reached into her bag and pulled out a shirt from her overnight bag... "Here... can't have you running around half naked... don't want my sith having someone else to look at... I um... still have plans to say goodbye to him... "

She watched as the woman put the shirt on... and Bekka leaned down grabbed the knife out of her pocket and tossed it to her... "Hey, hope that other one wasn't really special, but here... this one is pretty good... till you can get a replacement for yours... couldn't have you get burned... " She looked over at John a moment, and then back to Zara... "Well, it's time to part I think... " With that... Bekka starts shooting the blaster at her... purposefully missing but causing her to duck and as soon as she did, Bekka dove for cover, and headed off in a new direction...
