After meeting with his brothers, Scorch listened as Boss handed out orders. From behind some brush, Delta 62 threw an EMP grenade to knock out any cameras near the door. 62, 40, and Boss then all ran up to the door while 07 watched from the jungle line with his deadly sniper rifle.

There wasn't a sound over their com as 40 linked up to the door controls. After a almost a minute the door slid and the 4 of them all hurried inside.

The Boss pointed at Scorch and Sev, then pointed down a hallway to the left while 40 and 38 went of themselves.

Scorch ran down the corridor with Sev close behind. Ducking behind corners and staying in the shadows, they made their way to the security control room. Tsew. The bright flash of sniper rifle beam went by 62's head and down went someone down at the end of the corridor. "Oh, that was a cheap kill." said Scorch to Sev. "Hold here for a sec, planting explosives.... done."

As Sev and Scorch went down their separate path to their next objective Fixer and squad leader went towards there's. 38 halted their movement at a terminal that would give them an advantage that they needed.

"Ok delta. Slice this terminal and re-loop a vid recording, it should buy us some more time. Not to much, but enough."

Fixer went to work and set up the video loop as ordered. As Fixer set up the feed and gave a complete, squad leader noticed a movement. He quickly attached his sniper attachment and fired at the target. The solider dropped quicker than a sack of bantha dung.

"We need to move quickly. The image wont last as much as I thought."

The two deltas picked up the body and put it in a closet. They made there trip to the labs where their first objective was marked.

Pulling the chip containing her briefing for the squad, and about to leave her monitor for the briefing room, Lora saw the security screens beside her flicker. She sat back down, punching a few keys to find out if there had been any tests going on that she should know about. There didn't seem to be. She rose from her chair again, catching the eye of one of the techs.

"Keep an eye on the monitors. Let me know if something's going on I should know about. The screens just flickered. I'm going to go brief my squad."

With that, Lora headed out of the security room, placing the datachip into one of the inner utility pouches of her flexible armor. Something teased the back of her mind, making her feel on edge. It was a different feeling to what she normally felt when about to brief troops for a mission. This was something else. Giving her head a shake, she entered the briefing room, beginning the brief on the wreckage.

Scorch and Sev made quick work of the patrol droids and soldiers they encountered, setting more explosive charges along the way. Finally, they were just around the corner to the security room. "All yours" said 62 as he peeked around and noticed the door security. Sev edged around the corner and took both guards with two quick trigger pulls. The ran up to the door and stood one on either side. Scorch set a small demo charge to blow the door lock as Sev grabbed a flash bang, ready for the door to open. The charge went off and the door opened. 07 quickly threw in the flashbang and both Deltas looked away as it went off.

Screet. Screet.

Alarms screeched and lights flashed; the base was alerted to the intruders.

62 and 07 jumped into the room, rifles at the ready, shooting for the droids first as they would recover almost instanting from the flash. Scorch knocked out a few technicians as Sev switched to rifle attachment and killed the remaining soldiers. 62 signaled for Sev to cover the door as he began to slice the control panel before him. "Looks like someone set a couple cameras to loop a recording, but not from here. The internal defenses have been activated and I can't seem to turn them off."

Blaster fire sounded from the hallway as droids and soldiers came to kill the intruders. Keeping the enemy at bay, Sev asked, "Could you work any slower?" Scorch replied, "You know, we can't all be clones of Fixer."

The explosions, alarms and weapons fire interupted her briefing. Lora quickly yelling to the squad,

"Change of plans. Set for stun and we'll capture these guys if at all possible. We want at least one alive and captured for questioning. Keep in contact via comms, we want to know how many we're dealing with and who. Move out!"

Cautiously Lora opened the door, one of her squad mates guarding it as she slipped out, followed by the rest of the squad. They split up, heading each direction, some towards the security room, some towards the armoury. With hand motions, she directed a number to go ahead of the rest. She couldn't help venting as she flicked her weapon to stun and readied herself for close quarter combat.

"How the bloody hell did they get into the base? Who was on security detail?"

As she moved through towards the armoury to guard it, Lora sent a comm through to Slicer,

"Not sure how many we're dealing with Sir. My squad's on the job now. Half gone to the security room, I'm taking the other half to the armoury to protect that. Lora out."

She kept moving cautiously, though at a run as she made her squad fan out. So far they hadn't seen any signs of the enemy insurgents.

--

The other half of the squad reached the security room in quick time, taking in the sights of bodies laying in pools of blood on the floor... And she wants us to take prisoners? I'll make sure I'm on the interrogation team then... The squad leader muttered to himself as he took in the damage done.

Signalling to his men to watch their step as they closed on the damaged door, they readied themselves for a firefight...

Fixer had finished slicing his door completely enthralled in his "l337 hax0r skillz". The door slid open quickly and he entere the room with Boss amking a quick perimeter check and keeping his awareness at a high. The room was dark for something that was supposed to lead to the central Databank systems, at least it was compared to those during the clone wars and to the ones on Gala. Yet, Fixer assumed, this is probably the norm for these smuggling types and thus began to move forward, leading the way in front of Boss.

As they approached a door Fixer held his hand high as to signal Delta Leader to hold his position. If this door was rigged, 38 needed to survive not him. Fixer came in closer to the door, his blaster to his side and a thermal detonator in his hand. Fixer tapped his helmet switching to thermal vision and saw nothing on the other side of the door, yet the tapping and tinkering stil continued. It was an odd thing and then Fixer thought of a brilliant idea. He set his helmet to enhance all sonics in the area and, as he thought, the door was not really a door at all, but a gigantic sort of computer gateway, not with a slicing interface, but something made of a puzzle, something ancient.

"You better have a look at this 38."

"Blast! Get that Wookiee out of the firing area!" (Scorch: Okay, you tell him to retreat, Fixer.) "Uh...negative on that."

38 looked at the giant puzzle and was speechless, he changed his HUD to pick up the sonic waves in the room. He spoke to Fixer and gave his set of orders.

”œI don't know what this is, but whatever it is it will have to wait. Take a few pictures and lets get moving to the armory. We will take the labs later, soon as our loop is found things will get hot quick. I don't want to become a two man squad so lets move trooper.”

((Please, be careful with posting my actions. Sure, the concept behind Delta Squad means that we will end up posting some of each other's actions, but be a bit more careful with that.))

Perhaps Delta Squad should have been a bit more discreet in their approach in demolishing the Imperial base, as it seemed Sev's trigger finger and superb aim had proven to be just a little too slow in eliminating Imperials. Somehow, one of them had caught sight of their rampage and triggered an alarm. Considering the rate at which deadly bolts were racing from the muzzle of his DC-17, the commando wasn't surprised that they had been detected, but the fact remained that their detection represented an ugly blotch on their otherwise pristine operation.

He was momentarily embarrassed by even this relatively minor failure.

Sev decided to take it out on the enemy.

"If only Fixer was here..." RC-1207 growled in the privacy of his helmet as his HUD warned him of the approaching footfalls of a number of Imperial stormtroopers. He took a moment to twist the sniper attachment of his Deece into position and stared intently into the scope, completely prepared and almost eager for his opposition to arrive. He was not disappointed.

Now. Sev twisted on his heel, and grinned under his faceplate as the door dutifully opened for him, allowing Republic Commando to meet stormtrooper. He took a fraction of a second to admire their discipline; his opponents didn't seem to hesitate. They simply shouldered their weapons and began to fire a azure wave of stun bolts at him, apparently desiring to take him alive.

However, he would have none of that. Before the door even fully revealed his armored visage, Sev began a slow kneeling maneuver and shot the first unlucky victim whose head came into view. Seven. He continued his kneel to duck under the wave of stun bolts and began to sag to the side, beginning a languid retreat to the cover of the doorway. His aim was slightly disrupted by the maneuver, but his second shot still passed through the knee of a second stormtrooper. He tumbled to the ground as the high-powered round blew his shin off. Eight.

Sev allowed the stormtroopers a moment to seek cover; he used that second to disengage his sniper attachment and cast a sour glance at Scorch's slicing.

Then he went back to shooting. A constant stream of blaster bolts roared from his rifle, pitting the pristine corridor with angry welts. Another stormtrooper jerked away as Sev's aim found the side of his helmet. The shot to the side of his forehead might have been a mortal wound, but nothing that bacta couldn't cure. Nine... maybe? The commando began to sidestep towards the other side of the entry, hosing stormtroopers with inaccurate but highly effective suppressive fire.

Finally behind cover again, Sev groped for a fragmentation grenade on his belt and hurled it into the corridor. Whether by luck or incredible marksmanship, a stun bolt succeeded in striking his left hand as it released the deadly sphere. His entire left arm convulsed once, then fell utterly numb.

"Blast it!" Sev might have cursed on a channel audible to the rest of his squadmates; he didn't particularly care. Fortunately, his armor had absorbed a good portion of the shot's energy--his hand was already aching from the convulsion.

Ten. 07 risked a quick glance around the doorway, inviting another salvo of stun fire, but confirming that his grenade had gone to some good use.

It was too much to hope for that they'd get to the armory ahead of the insurgents, Lora breaking into some inventive swearing in several dialogs including Firrerreon. There were bodies prone all around the entrance to the armory and most of them, if not all were pooling blood. Her anger was up, specially when she heard from the other half of her squad. It seems they had come underfire by another of the insurgents.

"Spread out guys, we've got to take them. I'm gunna want answers to how they got in so easily."

Her spine had that feel about it that told her of danger, of feeling like they were walking into a trap. These guys, however many there were, had gotten into their base, their armory, they'd only have to crack the codes to get into the lockers for the extra ammo and weaponry. Lora knew the codes, having been in there numerous times and having gotten her personal weapons out from being serviced only that morning. She was concerned now... who were they up against? Why hadn't their defenses kept them out?

Before she could advise caution, one of her men had made it to the door,

"Wait dammit! Use caution!"

As the exchange of blaster fire echo from behind him, 62 quickly tapped away at the console before him. "Where are you my little override controls?" he thought to himself.

He heard Sev yell in anger and knew that he probably just got shot. He heard continued fire and trusted his clone brother to handle laying cover fire.

"Hello, what's this?" Scorch hadn't found a way to shut off the auto-turrets but stumbled upon something that could be useful. He managed to slice into the complex's basic operations program. He quickly scrolled through the list of operations. "Hmmm" he thought "What if I turn the lights off?" He opened a channel to his Delta brethren and told them, "Get ready to switch to thermal or night vision." RC-1262 smiled to himself as the lights through out the complex turned off. He switched his helmet to night vision and went back to slicing the security. "Might as well make some noise to create more chaos." The whole base seemed to rumble as Scorch triggered a handful of his already set charges. "Like music to my ears. Now lets see if we can get those outer defenses down, maybe get some backup if needed."

Fixer did as he was told and made way to slicing a nearby terminal, preferably to switch targeting from hostiles to friendlies destroying all the Troopers in the area and leaving little for Delta Squad to mop up. This tactic had worked loads of times in the past, especially in the training programs Fixer had played around with on Gala, and thus presumably, it would work just as well here.

  • Left Trigger Red

    Blackslash, 32...dir:memory overload.

    adjust biofrequency...

CANNOT PROCESS FURTHER ALREADY IN USE.

"What the hell!?!"

Fixer was clearly annoyed now that his only source to help out his own blood was now being knocked off from him. The Imps had got there before him and were clearly setting up the roadblocks necessary to attempt to stop him from achieving his ultimate goal, which with the amount of blaster fire coming from the courtyard nearby, seemed to be needed.

"Alright let's look at this code see what I can do..."

Fixer's hands went into a frenzy reading lines of code simultaneously. This was a poorly done effort, yet seemed oddly familiar at the time being. Who was this code written by? It was obviously not of any Imperial standard...but then...smugglers? No...it seemed to...jotty... This intense knowing of what it was...and then in a last line of code in this particular bypass Fixer was focusing upon...he found his evidence.

"62! Get off that Slicing protocol immediately, you're messing with my area of expertice." yelled Fixer as he switiched his Comm on and off again.

He quickly began to move his fingertips and as soon as possible he booted the illustrious Scorp from his terminal.

"Now back to work..."

  • rerroute:X-firing to defense.

The building shook as charges were laid and set off, blaster fire was heard up and down coordiors and through out it all Slicer had just foun dhimself kicked out of his own terminal.

Lucky for him he had certain commands he could imput certain commands given to him due to the fact that he was an imperial officer after all, as well as his own hacking skills.

So undisturbed he was after quite some difficultly simply shut down the turrets after being unable to simply rechange their targets.

Then he quickly made his way through sub process in order to re-enstate the lights back on for the base.

These guys are good and annoying. I will deal with them myself.

His armor wasn't quite ready nor had he rebuit his lightsabers however after a quick stop to his own personal quarters he emerged armed and ready with some protectioin he would be able to take a few blaster bolts to the chest and limbs however a head shot would still kill him.

Making sure his daggers were secure his blaster rifle was in hand and his few grenades were firmly attached in his belt pockets as well as hidden he grabbed a close range vibrosword and step forward. He could bring up his security cameras to determine where the intruders were.

Making his wayto a terminal he quickly set to work on just that only to find that his cameras didn't show much.

Feed back eh.

It wasn't to hard to clear a feed back loop mater of fact it had been a simple matter of simply restoring the camera's intial settings and adjusting the scope some what on the camera to test it but after a time he had gotten all the intruders down to their locations.

Immediatly he began giving orders.

Road blocks were set up designed to keep the four men from regroupig as troops rushed here and there tos et up e-web cannons in order to truly pin down those intruders.

Meanwhile outside defenses moblized as the entire base very quickly came alive and was put into action. There was no way these four funny looking stormtroopers were getting out alive.

Forming a small command of his own he figured a simple way to take down the intruders if their armor operated like his own or any variant of which it seemed like it would then he would be able to dispatch them with ease with the grenades he had on hand, stun bolts and things of that nature.

Making a quick pit stop to grab his carbonite pistol of of his more favorite toys. He quickly made his way toward two of the commandos that were pinned down in a way. ((Scorch and sev)) He manuvered behind their postion and then with his command instructed his troops to open fire with stun bolts. Meanwhile he himself slipped away as his men began anoter firefight with the intuders. he began to manuver himself for a clean shot at his two intruders. Suddenly it seemed to apper to him. With a flash a cold strem of ice cold goodness escaped from his carbonite gun and headed straight for the chest of delta 38.

((Sorry Slicer. Scorch isn't 38, hes 62. Also god have mercy on your soul. Messing with a delta is a punishment equal to death.))

The door to armory swosshed open and the motion sensor mine set up earlier with a barrell of grenades exploded taking out most of the soliders as they tried to break though. As 38 thought all were dead a lone female officer jumped though and over the stack of corpese. She fired high at center mass. The shield meter flashed as the bolts dispersied along the armor. A few rounds fired at the office took here down. He approached to look and saw that she wasn't dead. This surpised him becuase usally his aim was better. Fixer told him that an imperial officer who was called Slicer was heading twoards the others and that he was an FU. Delta looked around and noticed a quite a few rocket launchers and other high explosives.

"Ok Fixer heres the plan. Take yourself a rocket launcher and as many grendaes you can grab. We going to save 62 and 07 butts. As for this little officer here."

Boss searched Lora and found a few data disk on here. He didn't have time to check them, but they would do for now. He quickly gagged and bound the officer proped her up against the wall. He then grabbed himself a launcher and a few extra founds. He then planted charges in the armory and set them to fifth-teen mintues. Hell or high water this place was comming down. Fixer saw what was going on. They both knew the item was still here, but he also knew that Delta squad always finished their mission.

"We don't have time to reactivate the turrets and give the others help, but lets hope these can help the problem. We will take Slicer dead or alive."

Both deltas threw a frag grendae into the hall and waited for the bang. After the bang both jumped into the hallway with rifle attachments at the ready. They both ran down the halls quick as they could. Rounds were being fired quick as the rifle could fire. Boss sent the othes a comm.

"Were on our way Deltas. We will be there soon as we can. We are bring a bang with us, we just have to cut though quite a bit of the base first. Hold on and watch out for Slicer, he is inbound on your nine. Hes an FU which means he will use his powers and try to win using them, expect them and give them hell."

There was no time to waste, the Imperials were coming down hard in this sector of the base and Delta had to hold them in order to allow this base to crumble to the floor. Fixer's maneuvers were very direct and to the point as he began to strafe a nearby set of Stormtrooper's with a heavy barrage of blaster fire from his DC-17. Anyone who had any reason could have easily hit Fixer, but it seemed as if he was not a central target for the slaughter and thus he was able to easily take cover behind a barricade, to which on the opposite side laid an Auto-Turret which had been re-activated by the Imperials.

"Alright Delta, I'm gonna blow this turret, what you need to do is concentrate fire on the Officer ((Slicer)), remember in briefing they said he was armed with the force so it will be no different than Order 66 training of old. Just barrage him with so much fire it will be impossible that he can avoid them all." Fixer commed the Squad through his helmet.

As he finished he strapped on his Rocket Launcher, which was far lighter than he had anticipated when it was hoisted, and turned on his thermal scanning. The Auto-Turret was pointed away from him at the moment focusing toward where another member of Delta must be taking cover. It was his opportunity to make a dent.

Fixer stood up and pulled on the trigger, allowing the two rockets fire from it and ramming right into the base of the Auto-Turret thoroughly putting it out of commission.

It did not take long for Fixer to drop the weapon as more stormtroopers entered the room from his left flank. With only a Rocket launcher in his hand Fixer had no choice but to blow these men into smithereens. The clink of the rockets falling into place triggerd Fixer's brain and he pressed firmly on the trigger and blew the Stormtroopers sky high, leaving a rush of smoke and flame in its wake which allowed Fixer some cover from any incoming fire.

The commando dropped his rocket launcher and changed back to his DC-17 Blaster Carbine and scanned with his thermal scanning to find the Officer who was directing this fight. This man was the only obstacle between the accomplishment of this mission and Fixer intended to take him down with extreme prejudice. He rolled from behind his barricade and thrust his finger on the trigger allowing a barrage of blaster fire to erupt from the nozzle of the Carbine, all directed at the Officer.

((OOC: Dang, dang. I'm hyped up now. Slicer is going to get it for this.))

"62! Get off that Slicing protocol immediately, you're messing with my area of expertise." yelled Fixer over the com. "Good, you're finally in! Good luck four-oh, Sev and I are going to clear up and get out of here. Six-two out." Scorch said to Fixer.

Scorch backed away from the control panel and shot it full of holes. "Lets make sure to tie up a few more loose ends." Scorch planted a fair size timed explosive under the control panel. "Ten minutes and this room will be a nice pile of rubble." He reloaded and joined the hallway crossfire with 07. Scorch took a quick peek down the hall, then ducked and rolled behind some boxes across the way. He took another quick look to count how many they were up against. "Two on the left, three on the right." Scorch opened his com to Sev, "Didn't leave many for me I see."

"Were on our way Deltas. We will be there soon as we can. We are bringing a bang with us, we just have to cut though quite a bit of the base first. Hold on and watch out for Slicer, he is inbound on your nine. He's an FU which means he will use his powers and try to win using them, expect them and give them hell." came the Boss's voice over the com. "Negative sir, security rigged to blow shortly. Advise we meet half way at the mess hall." said 62. "Acknowledged, Delta. Watch your six and we'll meet up shortly.

RC-1262 looked at his explosive timer on his HUD, [00:8:30:53] and dropping. They needed to get out this area quick. He switched to his anti-armor attachment and fired 2 rounds. Sev finished off the remaining enemy. They ran a good 100 yards to a fork in the hall. Scorch stopped to check the map in his heads up display and was caught off guard by a few blaster bolts from behind. His minor shielding dropped temporarily and his back muscles began to spasm. These were stun bolts, they wanted him alive. Scorch and Sev took cover around the corners of the hall and opened fire. [00:06:46:27] How big would this explosion be? 62 thought he better not risk being any where close to it when it went off. He quickly pointed his rifle around the corner and gunned down a droid firing at his position.

Time seemed to slow down as another enemy appeared in shining green armor. ”œThat must be Slicer”

Slicer had been tempted to have his lightsaber block the blaster bolts however he nolonger had hislightsaber for he had to rebuild it. He was lucky very lucky the force he given him a nudge that the shots had been comming. With out thoguht he simply dropped to the floor before rolling to the right and coming up in a crouch he quickly snapped off another one his shots with his favorite weapon.

Then Stormtroopers decended upon Fixer alowing Slicer to presue the other two intruders however before he could get far he dove in order to avoid an incoming grenade. A bright flash filled the hallway as he covered he head with his hands and shield shis eyes as he faced away from the blast.

As soon as it was over he noted that it had been a simply flash bang. He removed an EMP from his belt he knew he would be using it.

With a toss he threw the grenade into the mess hall which seemed to be where the deltas were going.

Then he switched weapons to a scalpe hunter and fired off two shots at the 62 and 07.

He was going to have a hard time taking all three down.

Fixer had ran ahead of squad leader leaving Boss to watch his back. A group of three soldiers came up from behind Fixer, but didn't get a round off. Two volleys of rockets were launched and made a big enough bang to bring some of the wall down. He wasn't seen yet, but three things appeared on the HUD of delta 38. The tags and vitals of 62 and 07. As well as a second bomb counter. His read 00:06:20:01 the other read 00:0:59:59. Whatever 62 had planted was going off in less than a minute. Waves of an EMP ran across the halls not coming close enough to disrupt his shields but his brothers was another story. He ordered his squad to cut their outer helm feed now. With that a flash bang was thrown into the middle of the hall. Its blinding light lasted only a few seconds. His vision was distorted, but he was still able to see enough.

"Turn on the helms squad and let them have it." With that the three members of delta squad let lose the hounds of hell upon those imperials.”

Suddenly in the midst of all of this a runner came up to him bearing a beatuful gift. WIth in moment Slicer donned his rather well liked armor once more.

Now he was more than prepared enough to take down a couple of commandos. Darth lanucher, flame thrower, it was all there evn his other special features. He powered it up and flexed a bit.

He had lost track of the deltas in the explosion however they han't lost track of him. A wall of fire had been hammering away at his postion for quite the time.

Now with his new armor however he could repay the favor.

Linking up with the compueter database he plugged in what he knew about the deltas and suddenly they showed up all four of them in his HUD. Their locations in relation to where he was.

He smiled as it seemed the final stages were about to commence. Suddeny he recieved a comm so natrurally he sent out two comms in return then he left his former postion. Now he would make sure none of them got out alive.

Meanwhile teh rest of the base had barricated the permieter an an attempt to keep the intruders trapped with no where to go.

He disappered into the shadows and rubble in order to better manuver his way toward the delta with out being peppered by blaster fire.

Thats bull Slicer and you know it. You should be dead by default but as I said earlier I excuse you for now. What my squadmates do however is up to them.))

IC:

Fixer saw the man decide to distance himself from the battle by hiding behind a bit of rubble. He remained back there for a few moments while Fixer and the rest of Delta Squad continued to hammer down his position with blaster fire. It was a waste of ammo, perhaps the man had already escaped form this battle, but it was unlikely.

"This guy is a coward Delta's, let's make this quick and easy."

Fixer continued to blast his DC-17 in the direction of Slicer's hideaway, not quite sure what was really occuring in the backstage of the area to which it seemed he held. This was infuriating to fight against someone who is too cowardly to fight back. It infuriated Delta-40 to no end and he wanted nothing more than to go back there and jab Slicer in the heart with his sheathed Vibrodagger. But, he knew tacitcally that to go against an FU with such a tactic was more foolish than hunting Krayt Dragons with Mining Lasers.

Fixer backed up a bit to situate himself behind the barricade he formerly held and while remaining at a constant fire of Slicer's position he knelt down and picked up his rocket launcher which still had a few rocket left in its cache.

Hoisting it up onto his Shoulder Fixer aimed it at the bit of rubble he saw the Imperial Officer disappear behind. With a smirk across his face he commed the rest of Delta.

"Back up men unless you wish to have Stew a la Slicer upon your armor"

With that Fixer fired his weapon at the rubble to which Slicer hid behind. The show was spectacular. The flames roared in the air and bits and peices of rubble were scattered everywhere. If it hit Slicer or not though...remained to be seen.

"Blast! Get that Wookiee out of the firing area!" (Scorch: Okay, you tell him to retreat, Fixer.) "Uh...negative on that."

((you can fire at a postion all you want. Doesn't mean you are hitting me since I am obviously not standing in the open. I could understand if I was in the middle of the hall way or something but if I duck behind a wall I am not in the open, if I crouch behind ruble I am not in the open. How is that bull? I shouldn't be dead by default because I wans't being hit. If I was say being slammed with blaster bolts sure I could understand being dead by default.))

The rocket soared through the air and slammed into where Slicer had been. Even though he hadn't been there he still felt the back lash of it as he was rocked off his feet from the force of the explosion.

This is tiring.

Crouching behind a new postion he summoned the force. The man with the rocket lancher suddenly found that his anti armor weaponary suddenly exploded in a suprise attack making suth things useless as well as naturally doulbling as IED's. Which included the rocket lanucher. Then preparing himself to move to yet another postion he suddnely leapt up forom his new postion and tossed and EMP towards the area where the rocket had come from. Since all of delta squad had been group together chances were the results were devastating. he was however running out of such grenades. Though he did have other kinds of grenades on him.

In all honesty he really didn't have to worry about blaster fire too much. However he did have to worry about so the less hits he took the better.

He retreated away from the deltas yet again in order to better attack once more. Disappering once more he didn't leave a trace of his exit as multiple stormtroopers swarmed his former postion.

Alright, here's my rating””Delta, Try to be a little more specific. I understand you're all working together, but you need to make it extremely clear where you are relative to everyone else. Keeping track of 5 bodies is a strain, especially when the clues to each's location scarcely populate a thread. Slicer, you can't post in narrative. If you say

The wave of blaster bolts were ever flowing. Rockets raced passed and down the hall. There was a clear and perfect picture of Slicer down the hall. The timer inside of 38's HUD read two minuets and counting. This had to end now. As the fire hailed Boss reached to his belt and felt two frag grenades left. With a grab and a pull of the pins they were held within in hand. A charge was lead with 38 in the front and the rest of Delta squad running and gunning. He stopped to release the frags with less than four feet between Delta squad and Slicer.

Shaking her head in disgust since they should have waited for her order, Lora had followed after stupid members of her squad, too late to prevent their downfall, but not too late to get into the action as the smoke had cleared. She'd fired her weapon on full stun, though had been taken down as her stun blasts were dispersed. She'd groaned, trying to smother the pain as the Firrereon girl took hits that penetrated her personal armor. While it prevented the blasts from being lethal, it didn't stop her from losing consciousness.

She partially came to as she was trussed up and gagged, her helmet having been taken off her in the process. The pain was too much, even though she tried to shift her hand far enough to press the button that would release a pain med into her. Lora found herself slumping to the ground, again out cold.

--

When she came to again, only a few minutes later, she noted that she was alone. Bodies of her comrades surrounded her, and the sound of a beeping countdown timer alerted her to her current danger. It hurt to move, every movement painful, though she knew she had to get out of the armory... before it came down around her, burying her in the process.

She drew on all of her will power, all of her elite training to manouver herself to a position where she could push herself back up the wall. They hadn't tied her to anything, had only tied her legs together, her arms behind her back and a gag on her. Tears trickled down her face from pain as she pushed herself slowly up to a standing position. Her breath coming short, hard against the gag. She wouldn't be able to get out of jolting her body about in her escape from the deathtrap but she had to if she was going to live.

She managed a couple of jumping movements, remaining upright only just as the pain ripped through her body. She had to get out of the armory though, had to get out and behind the makeshift barrier her squad had made before attacking it in the first place. There wasn't a part of her body that didn't hurt and she could feel the squishy feeling of bloody wounds. She didn't know how she did it, but she made it to the barrier, tumbling over it, the pain too much for her to stay conscious, again passing out in a bloodied pile on the other side of the barrier that would protect her incase of the armory blowing sky high.

A return COMM was sent by a small group of transport ships barring soldiers, engineers, supplies, and other things. All outer and inner defenses had been turned off before they came within landing range. RC-1138 turned to his squad and gave out his orders.

"Lets get moving men. Our job here is done, but we need to start our training again. This almost botched mission is proof of that. However we have to help get things up and running on Selvaris and make sure it tells the empire that this planet belongs us."

Squad leader thought about what had to be done and quickly gave out his orders.

"Fixer. You are to go the labs and slice whatever information you can out of them. That fancy suit Slicer was having ran to him. I want every thing on you can and on what we saw ealier as well.

Scorch. You are in charge of helping the construction crews knock down what needs to be knocked down and establishing what they need put up.

Sev. We lost some security systems from the fighting and there might be a few Imperials left alive. You have clean up with me. You find them kill them no questions asked. You will take east section of the base. I will take the west. Once done with your sweep head to the security room and put it back together. Ok Deltas get moving."

"Clean up duty, yay. I guess I should have saw it coming when I detonated the security room.", thought Scorch. He proceeded to the area recently blown up and began to assess the damage. Scorch began the boring task of clearing rubble and beginning repairs to the base with the help of some Alliance engineers. There were a few structurally unsafe wall still standing here and there; Delta 62 was more than happy to lend his explosives expertise. "Next time I'll remember not to blow up a base we're trying to capture."

She was having trouble breathing, trying to cough around the gag that was tied around her head. Lora had lost alot of blood, feeling the pain in every fiber of her body. Her eyes fluttered open, very much aware that she was now in enemy territory. How was she going to get out of this? She was trussed up so she could hardly move, and with so much bloodloss she didn't have the energy to even try to.

Knowing she desperately needed medical attention and that she wasn't about to be able to find any in her condition hit her hard, specially since she was still unable to reach the pain releasing mechanism on her armour. With the base now occupied, she couldn't even hope to get Sparky down to retrieve her, he'd be blasted as soon as they saw the droid. A sob caught in her throat... Fine mess you've got yourself into this time girl... no way of escape and evade if you're half gone and tied up so you can't move... She had to force air through her nasal passages, discovering that she was still partially upside down where she'd fallen over the barrier. If she didn't right herself, she'd have blood rushing to her head. It was that roaring sound she could already hear.

As she pushed herself over, she screamed into the gag as she reinjured the wounds she had already sustained, passing out again, not knowing if she would wake this time...

((Oy, sorry about my utter lack of posting during most of the battle. School was fairly insane; the JNet RP has been insane; this, sadly, took a lower priority. Hopefully, things will settle down for a little while.))

Delta-07 quietly exulted in the confident rush that slowly replaced the surge of adrenaline in his blood; even taking such a heavy-handed approach to this mission, Delta Squad was victorious. Selvaris was once again in the hands of the Rebel Alliance, he and his brothers were all alive and mostly unharmed, albeit somewhat exhausted, and Sev had started working on an intimidating count of fatalities and head shots.

But Scorch beat him, most likely. He and his damned explosive wonders had probably caused untold numbers of casualties. The commando shrugged, finally feeling the weight of his backpack on his shoulders; he'd catch up to Scorch when they fought in a more... refined hunt, rather than a miniature infantry engagement.

"On it, Boss." Nodding to his sargeant, Sev ceased fiddling with a "liberated" vibroknife and cast it aside in favor of his DC-17m. After a moment to check the blaster rifle's charge, he set off through the delapidated base. He paused occasionally to confirm whether a post-mortem twitch by a slaughtered Imperial stormtrooper was merely an aftereffect of rigor mortis or a genuine movement from a barely-conscious warrior.

Muscle spasms were a rare side effect of rigor mortis; even more so in Sev's eyes.

Sev eventually investigated the aftermath of Boss's and Fixer's assault on the base's armory, voicing his approval at their handiwork in the privacy of his helmet. He quickly identified the surviving body of one of the Imperial officers--he'd been able to witness some of his brother's actions through their helmet feed on his HUD. She was clearly in a bad state, struggling to breathe, perhaps even in danger of drowning in her own blood.

Sev had no problem with shooting dying grunts; he'd proven that at least a few times in the last few minutes. However, there was a chance that the woman would survive if she received immediate medical attention, and it seemed only practical to allow her that small chance of survival. Her armor instantly identified her as an officer--always a valuable prisoner, a female officer even more so.

However, it just doesn't seem right to sit by and watch her die of her wounds. Perishing in battle or sacrificing your life for your comrades was a perfectly noble way to die, but Sev wouldn't wish for anyone to experience the ignoble fate of slowly fading away. If the woman proved to be hostile, he wanted to at least give her an opportunity to declare her intent.

Sev sighed at the minor dilemma, and decided to ask his leader for his final say on the situation. "Boss, Oh-Seven here." RC-1138 would hear a click on his helmet's internal comm as Sev contacted him on a private channel. "You left a female... Firrerreo bound and wounded in the armory? An officer? She seems to be dying. Shall I render first aid... or finish your dirty work?" Sev was embarrassed by the tightening of his throat at those final words, and was suddenly grateful for the privacy of his buy'ce.

RC-1138 received a COMM from Sev asking a question about a female officer found dying in the infirmary. There was no need for an innocent woman to die after all of the fighting is said and done.

"Take her to what's left of the infirmary and heal her. I want also to be ready for talking later. Do not kill her, or it will be garage duty for you."

As 38 sent out his orders the workers went to work and about getting the base in set up. He received orders though of how it was to be set up and resent the orders to the staff.

Add a well suited hangar. Turrets all over key strategic points. A security program that takes more than an average hacker to slicer. Weapon drops and ray shields. Finally training grounds for delta squad, holo and real.

With his list written it was sent and worked upon immediately
