  1. Kirlocca could understand the motivation in the young padawan to want to know the mission. It was the way Kirlocca was during his padawan years, and even into his Knighthood. But Ads was a bit more seasoned then he should have been, so Kirlocca just assumed he would be by the book. << Peace keeping. The Bothans are considering a withdraw from the Galactic Alliance, due to the tied nature with the Sith and the Imperials. Remember that they fought against them for so long, that their trust in them might be the reason behind their new found stance. Our mission is to uncover why they want to withdraw, and to keep them from withdrawing, peacefully. >> Kirlocca almost smiled as the thought of how far difficult this mission was would not dawn upon Ads until sometime later within the mission. Bothans are very stuck in their way creatures.
  2. Kirlocca nodded his head slowly as he listened to Ads explanation of his view. << Very good. The way you should view it. I only ask because it would give me an outlook into your character as a Jedi. Which is good. Our mission revolves around the very principles of which the Jedi Order was founded. Stray but a little and we may be viewed as hypocrites in the eyes of those that we are trying to provide assurance for. Your very basic skills learned will be put to heavy practice, as will your patience as a Jedi. >> Kirlocca now stood up and moved towards the copilot chair this time and sat down a bit more closer to Ads. << Our mission lays within Bothan space. Bothawui is our destination. >>
  3. The tale of Ads felt very familiar to Kirlocca, but for reasons unfathomable to the Jedi Grandmaster. With a slow nod of his own head, he spoke with a slight curiosity in his voice. << So you would say that the Jedi Order has failed you? Or was it the Force? >> Kirlocca didn't believe either had failed Ads, but rather that the Force held it own purpose for the young man before him. Perhaps the mission they were on now would amplify what Kirlocca already suspected.
  4. Kirlocca kept his eyes closed, although it had absolutely nothing to do with the flight. But rather, the Jedi Grandmaster was allowing for the Force to direct him in his actions, as well as to flow more fluently with the Force naturally subconsciously. A technique Kitt had and Aryian had taught him a long time ago. But the question did break the flow, as Kirlocca was no master of the skill. With eyes still closed, he spoke up as if he himself was unsure of the answer. << A destination is your answer? Perhaps there are many destinations that I could answer that would put your mind at rest. A look into the mirror perhaps? Or maybe a long time goal once forgotten? Maybe we are just traveling to a planet to keep you occupied from the others? >> Kirlocca allowed for a moment to pass. The moment was just long enough for Ads to realize that the Wookiee had finished, yet not enough time to actually ponder greatly upon the words just spoken. << Answer me this first, and than I will yield an answer to your question. I have seen you from afar for some time within the Jedi Order. Whom of which did you train with, and why do you still hold your rank of padawan? >>
  5. Once Kirlocca was sure Kailen and Halo had what information they would need, he turned around and moved towards the shuttle that Ads had prepared for them. The young man was excited, and it showed in a thousand different ways. But Kirlocca understood that it was because he would be working with the Grandmaster, as the task for them would be the most difficult of all the missions he had just handed out. Without a much of a conversation for the moment, Kirlocca just handed Ads a datapad with a destination coordinates upon it, almost as if nothing was really all that new for the young padawan. << We're going here. I want for you to pilot us there. >> Kirlocca then found himself a seat and sat down, doing his best to relax and try to asses what sort of skills Ads actually had at the moment. ((You can post us lifting off, after that, we'll be in the Space Thread for a few posts.))
  6. Kirlocca turned towards Ads just shortly after giving further instructions to his own padawan Kailen, and the other named Halo. A hidden smiled appeared upon the Grandmasters face, but it was almost certainly not picked up by Ads in the slightest way, as he probably has not had any real time around Wookiees to pick up their characteristics. << I need for you to go and prep a shuttle for our departure. If you have any belongs you wish to take with you, collect them. We will be heading off planet ourselves. >>
  7. Kirlocca waited until Adenna and Adrian departed before he turned towards Kailen and Haloburner, as he overheard her introduce herself. With a smile, he kept the very same composure he held while talking to Adenna. << Exploring it a word used very lightly here. Rhen Var has been a planet with Jedi ties to it. We are unsure what sort of ties they hold to now. Your job will be to listen in to the local vendors on planet, and to see what sort of Jedi artifacts you can find on the planet to bring back to Lehon in one piece. >> Kirlocca motioned for Ads to move in closer. His side task would be one that could take a certain spin if the padawan not ready, but the Jedi Grandmaster was confident in the boys abilities.
  8. While Adenna's face revealed her bemusement in the young padawan, Kirlocca held the more reserved face. Through his own experience, it was nice to be within his own home as it were, unrecognized for the accomplishments he had performed over his lifespan. It was refreshing, despite the clear lack of understanding of the pecking order within the Jedi Order. With a smile, he awaited for Adenna to finish before speaking. << As Adenna just said, I am Jedi Master Kirlocca, co-Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. I must apologize to you. I am so used to being used as a billboard for the Jedi Order during the time of the wars that I naturally assume everyone has seen my face on the Holonet at one point in time. But as of such, Adenna is right. I will not force you to go on this mission, but I think that it would be very unwise to decline such a request. You have potential. But potential without pressure or practical practice is nothing more than a nice thought. This mission I am offering you does not bode any danger, as the request is only to confirm the presence of hostiles. And you both for the most part are unknown. Your presence on the planet should go unnoticed. >> Kirlocca kept his gaze upon the young padawan. For the most part, there would be no danger in either of the two going. It provided some rest for Adenna, and for the two to build upon the bond that Kirlocca knew would form between the two. If the presence of Mandalorians were true, Fett would have informed him of such a thing. This was a publicity thing for the most part.
  9. Kirlocca could sense the tension in the air, mainly echoing off the younger ones. But Kirlocca didn't have the time or luxury to afford to them. In fact, he could sense that the galaxy would need for them to mature into full stature Jedi Knights sooner rather than later. Carefully, he choose his words, knowing that he needed to calm the minds of both of whom he was sending out. << The information is bare. Only that there seemed to be a presences of Mandalorians on Haruun Kal. Your mission is two fold. First, find out if such rumors are true. The second is to make sure the enclave there on the planet is still operational. There are still some contacts friendly to the Jedi Order on the planet. They may be a resource for you if you do run into trouble. Contact the Jedi Council if anything should go other than planned. You may leave when your shuttle is ready. May the Force be with you. >> Kirlocca now turned towards Kailen and Halo. << Kailen, I have need of you to do a little exploring for me. I want for you to take this young girl with you if it's alright. I think that between the two of you, you should be able to handle what I am about to give to you. >> Kirlocca also lifted his paw to direct Ads closer to himself. << You young one, I have need of you with me. >>
  10. Kirlocca almost smiled at Adenna's words. Her nature seemed to team with respect, yet clearly held her own ground that she wished to hold. Slowly moving his arms up to fold them across his chest, he spoke with a much quieter tone than before. << Your body and mind will recover in due time. In fact, I think that this mission I have in mind will be good for you, as well as young... Adrian is it? Besides, I would prefer it if you would not get into any entanglements. >> Kirlocca hoped that his words left unspoken would be caught onto by Adenna in understanding of what was going on.
  11. Kirlocca finished up his transmission within the shuttle and than began to walk out into the hangar bay. He paused for a moment, as he could feel a flurry of Force signatures crowding within the space outside. Looking out, he could begin to sense a great deal of emotion and stirring within the Force. Now was the time for him to act as a Grandmaster for the Order before him. Stepping fully out of the shuttle, he quickly spotted to array of personalities, and of each one a task was placed within his head for each one. Walking up to the Rodian, Koovo, he gave his old friend a nod and than spoke up somewhat loudly for the whole Hangar Bay to hear. << Koovo, I relieve you of your duty. I have need for you on Tython. The padawans will be placed under my care until further notice. >> Kirlocca than turned to face the rest of the Jedi. With a slow glance at each one, he understood what needed to be done more than perhaps they themselves did. But he would first now have to deal with Adenna, a Jedi of whom Kirlocca believed was a strong push away from becoming one of the greatest Jedi the Galaxy has ever seen. << Please forgive me being so forth, but I now have a need of all of you. Adenna, there are rumors of Mandalorian activity causing riots on Haruun Kal. I want for you and this young padawan to go and investigate these rumors. >> Kirlocca turned his head for a second to acknowledge Kailen, Halo, and Ads not far from Adenna and Adrian. They themselves would also be given something special to accomplish upon Adenna either accepting the mission before her or not. ((All of these missions will have PC interactions at one point.))
  12. (Splitting the posts into two right now.) Koovo was curious as to how the three padawans managed to form the circle that they had without any real formal training. But for now, he wouldn't worry himself with such notions, as they needed to begin their training. Carefully, he decided he would begin with basics for them, just in case. "Alright, well I would like for you to show your basic skills. There are a few crates over there filled with supplies. Lift them into the air with the Force and try to display some control over them if you can." Koovo stood to the side to watch them to see what sort of skills they already had and would help them if the need arrived. __________________________________________ Kirlocca piloted the shuttle into the system, bringing it in for a landing in the hangar bay of the Lehon Temple. With the right codes sent, for both the shuttle and his own starfighter in tow, he would begin to maneuver the Kailen into a position for the trials shortly after landing. Granted, he understood that such trials were still far off, he would at least put her on the right path. Hopefully, he would be able to get the Jedi Order moving in their jobs without sacrificing anything to Kailen in the process. That was always the problem with a Grandmaster having a padawan. One would always suffer if they were not able to lead. Kirlocca was convinced that he would be able to handle both, but the worry would remain within his mind always until he displayed he was able. After landing, he turned towards Kailen with a smile. << I must address a few people, as being the Grandmaster of the Order requires me to maintain the Order. But I promise you this, your training will not stop. You must be mindful of everything you see and hear and take it as a learning opportunity if I am unable to give you full time to train. >> Kirlocca hoped that she would understand. She was being thrust into a position she may not like, but if she could maintain an open mind, one that was willing to learn, she might pick up a few things that no training session could provide her.

    Kashyyyk

Kirlocca arrived within Kashyyyk's system a few seconds before the shuttle did. The short time allowed for him to send a transmission towards the surface, contacting his old friend, Geyyrao as he was calling in perhaps one last favor. After the shuttle arrived in system, the Jedi Grandmaster lead the shuttle down towards the surface near where Geyyrao would be waiting for them. After both landed, and Geyyrao promised to keep the children out of sight and within a difficult place to reach. He felt it was safe to leave the children on the planet, only because of their Force potential had not developed yet into something worth tracing, nor where they strong enough yet to be found within a crowd of Force energy, especially on the Kashyyyk jungle floor. Kirlocca left the system, for perhaps one last stop before he made his way to Coruscant and then to Lehon.
  14. It took longer than what Kirlocca wanted, but the job was still done. A ship was outfitted with slave controls to his own Owool starfighter, so that the ship could maintain a course with Kirlocca without him having to be within it to pilot the craft. But what took so long was the jammer device that was designed to block any tracing, but would still receive the slave control signal without any interference. Upon that completion, Kirlocca immediately boarded his own craft and than took off from Bespin, knowing full well that future conversations between Delta and the Jedi Order would commence. After the short delay, and the right signals sent, Kirlocca and the children were off Bespin and headed towards a secure location.
  15. As Kirlocca arrived at his Owool fighter, 41Da informed him of yet another message from Kailen Aeli, an apprentice of his. Without hesitation, Kirlocca decided that while he had the time, he would respond to her now, as time might not yet be afforded to him later. === Message outgoing for Kailen === << Kailen, I hoped that I have not worried you with no response, but the mission at hand required my full attention. I will meet you upon Coruscant within the next 72 hours. The Sith Temple there has been cleaned out, so you can await your time there. May the Force be with you. >> === Message outgoing for Kailen ===
  16. Kirlocca heard and understood what exactly that meant from Delta's perspective, so he made a slight bow towards the Vigo and allowed for him to prepare for the departure. But while his own senses were still getting reattached to the Force since the duel of words within the protective bubble that the ysalamiri created, he could tell that something nagged at Delta. Perhaps that bond is still there. The tale of woes between Delta and Qaela must be greater than both lead on. But he slowly left the room and walked out towards docking bay thirty four where is Owool fighter rested. He would need to prepare his own side of things to allow for the Children to be safe during such a time when no doubt, the Sith would be relentless in anger over the outcome of today. But somewhere off in the distance, like a soft breeze coming in across an ocean, Kirlocca could feel the Force begin to tell whispers of death that stretched from around the city. A killer was present, doing damage on Bespin. But for right now, even the Grandmaster had to admit that there was nothing he could do. Unless he was approached, he would have to hope that there were no innocents upon the planet's station that Black Sun controlled, and that Delta's Wing Guard would be able to defend against this attacker.
  17. Carefully from a distance, a young Rodian Jedi Knight by the name of Koovo followed behind two padawans whom seemed to have a very awkward interaction around the quarters. Koovo watched the two as he followed after them, but spoke up with a louder voice designed to halt both of them. "Excuse me young padawans, but what it the nature of your hurry?" Koovo was interested in their interaction that they just held, but felt that they needed a quick lesson within the beauty of the Force. For even in the slow moments, the Force was present to hold a teaching moment.
  18. Kirlocca had walked in after Qaela had arrived, to hear the last parts of her rant and then the male Sith's own little rant. As they both spoke, Kirlocca moved to stand slightly off away from Delta and just listened as the two spoke. Once they left and the door was shut, Kirlocca spoke up. << They're a cheerful bunch, aren't they. >> It was a mock, but one that he knew even Delta could smile at. The Jedi Grandmaster stood with his arms crossed across his chest with a Wookiee smile that was all too famously mistaken for something else. He also now had Qaela's lightsaber on his own belt, a gift that might be given to one of her children, if he ever felt they deserved such a gift.
  19. Kirlocca could feel the woman's anger and hatred spill out like venom from fangs. Her words the she spoke in response to his own advice to her, or rather, his own ultimatum towards her, he could feel the deep desire still to take her own life. But by now, the choice was fully hers and in no way could he be held responsible for her actions. As she began to walk towards the door with great fury, the Jedi Grandmaster lowered his head and released a sigh. With her now own her way out, Kirlocca knew what had to be done on his own part, an action that he would have to do in secret to protect those around him. In a soft voice, he spoke only to himself. << And thus, Kirlocca must make the hard choice again for the galaxy. >> Slowly, he followed the woman out, but kept his distance, as he would rather now just take the children off planet, along with going to visit an old friend whom he promised he would keep updated on the whole situation. But first thing first, he needed to get the children from Delta.
  20. The next few moments for Kirlocca happened rather quickly. The woman went from a slightly enraged state to a completely unstable mindset, and now even threaten her own well being. Without even the slightest hesitation on his own part, Kirlocca lifted his paw in the fastest motion he ever moved before, using the Force to pull her lightsaber hilt out of her hand and into his own paw. The move came through an instinct that was somehow built within his mind to not let even the most corruptible people to destroy themselves, or even to hurt others. It was called a weakness by almost all Sith, even even some of his close allies. But for the Jedi Grandmaster, it was something that set him apart. He took a moment for the revelation of what had just happened to come through both his mind and hers. Carefully, he lowered his paw with her hilt in one hand and used his other to retrieve his own to the other paw. << Are you brainless? You spent your entire time up here trying to convince me to surrender your children back to you, and yet you go and display before a crowd that you are completely unstable to even handle such a burden! >> Kirlocca now began to hold both lightsaber hilts tightly, and with the Force. He did not want her to try such a foolish thing again. << If you have done anything today, it was show me that these children most definitely would not be safe with you. You have also shown me that you are need of help. You said you want your children back, and I believe you. Problem is, you haven't shown me anything worth you raising them in a safe environment. >> Kirlocca let his words sink in. He did believe her, but her actions and words today only proved that Delta had made the right call. But now he began to wonder if her kids having a connection to the Force, given that Ar-Pharazon was the father, made the burden of their future even worse. Within his own mind, Kirlocca began to think upon Kitt and his ability and if such an action would be worth it. << I will however provide you with a chance to retrieve your children back, but not here, and not today. You seek out help, away from both the Jedi and the Sith, and come back to me once you've proven yourself more stable, and I will give you back your children; Freely. >> Kirlocca now stood ready and awaited her response. ((5))
  21. Kirlocca could tell the situation was far more emotional than he realized from the woman's reactions to his words. The Vigo and her exchange outside hinted at a close relationship, yet now he could sense that the two were once lovers. Perhaps maybe this whole thing was a bad relationship the ended up breaking an alliance between the Sith and Black Sun, and now they sought other means. Perhaps the only reason the two Dark Side users were here was a large attempt to repair the damage done. Either way, no matter what it really was, Kirlocca could now tell that the Force brought him here for good reasons. But this woman continued to stand upon ground that held no weight. But the Jedi Grandmaster would play her game so long as he found a purpose in continuing to do so. << Peace, my dear, will not come through me simply handing your kids over. Only a naive fool would believe such a ridicules statement. In fact, I know very well that it will not even settle anything between you and me. You try to stand upon a claim that I need to make peace with you by handing over your children. Peace requires a two-way trust. You have yet to place none in my favor. >> Kirlocca now turned his body in a slight way as he made a few steps. It was his way of continuing to walk in a thoughtful manner, yet keep a close eye from a warriors stand point upon a woman of which he found no ground to trust. << Perhaps the best way you can do this for me is to explain how handing your kids back to you will easy my mind? Hmm! How will I know that I won't see these kids in the future making some attempt to kill off Jedi? >> Kirlocca now turned his body fully back towards her. They both were standing outside the bubble without the Force, standing face to face with full access to the Force. Yet both were a a good arms length away from each other, if not further. This very moment hung a tipping point within the war of words, and Kirlocca knew it from a mile away. But for now, Kirlocca had to get the woman to surrender of her own free will. She was clearly no match for him in any sense of any duel, but she may not have realized it yet. Which is why the Jedi Master had to try to force her to see that. << You are not in any position to speak from a position being on a higher moral ground. Make no mistake, your actions, while mostly bloodless, are personally responsible for the deaths of those you set up. You placed your own children in this situation. Not me. Your history and path does not require me to make any sort of peace with you, but rather you need to come to peace with me and the Jedi. And where is this Furion? The one whom told you that you would get your children back? Why is he not here to help you get them back? Or am I to assume you are here for nothing more than to tag me for someone else, much like you did to Kitt. >> Kirlocca then lowered his voice to a point of a whisper in full understanding of what Delta was able to do. << Besides, the one you travel with is in the most danger. >> ((4)) (Edited to make up for a lack of reading.)
  22. Kirlocca could only frown at the very words spoken. This woman spoke as if he had brought so much upon her, yet nothing stated was actual, unless you really stretched the truth. But then his mind could sense the very hidden battle she was attempting upon him. << No, the Jedi are not taught to fight with only lightsabers and fists. But it is an open truth that this is my first encounter with a Sith, or someone who operates within anger and the Dark Side that chooses not to do so. In fact, my long history, which dates long before you were even born, proves that most who wish to duel in my any fashion end up attempting to betray their first purposed option. So the way I act the way I do is from a long list of Sith who came before your time. >> Kirlocca lowered his lanky arms to his side with a posture of neutral stance. But only a complete fool would assume the Jedi Grandmaster was not prepared for anything. Taking a step to his side, allowing her to play her game from a position that she felt comfortable in, he continued to address her concerns. << Your innocence in dealing with the Sith is the same as Black Sun. I hold them accountable for their actions, yet provide them a chance to redeem such action. An action in which I am willing to go along with, yet did not offer it up. In fact, I find no reason even now in why the Jedi Order should take your children. I find any offspring of Ar-Pharazon a high risk to the galaxy and would rather ban them to be within a place where they never see the galaxy. It was your man, this Vigo named Delta whom insisted that the Jedi take them on to redeem the plague of such an evil. >> The truth, which was exactly what it was, was sharp and hurtful. Kirlocca knew the woman wouldn't take it well, but he didn't care. The truth wasn't meant to be pretty, as it had hurt Kirlocca multiple times in the past. But he decided to push the game to a new level. << But since you are so keen on having your children, why don't you offer up a counter offer. And tell me why I should even begin to trust someone who was crucial to Kitt Fitt's death? Yes, your feelings give you away. And understand that I am not as soft or as easy to manipulate against as Fitt was. The likes of multiple encounters with Geki have prepared me against any such futile attempt. >> Kirlocca suddenly stood still with arms lifted and folded across his chest, awaiting whatever rebuttal the woman thought would best fit within this situation. Or perhaps better yet, an out lash of anger at hearing a truth she did not want to. ((3))
  23. Kirlocca carefully eyed the Sith again, or rather, the woman aligned with the Sith. Her actions and words hinted that perhaps her allegiances lay with something else. Within his mind, he began to wonder why the woman would make the open challenge to fight him for the rights of children, and then walk into a room a standing there and just take the hits. She's not here to fight, at least not in the sense that she offered up. Kirlocca narrowed his eyes and began to walk towards her, but he did so in such a way that he kept and maintained a safe distance to react to anything thrown his way within the bubble that held no Force. << You made the open challenge to fight for your kids, yet to make to effort to win them now. Very deceptive of you to do so. I'm now beginning to wonder if you really want the children at all. Maybe you and and your bodyguard only came here to move me into a position of public ridicule. >> Kirlocca was now standing within a leaping distance, but with his long arms, he would be able to maneuver just enough to keep a safe distance from any surprise attack. Part of him wondered if this woman was nothing more than a setup trick by the Sith. He last saw her interacting with Kitt on the security holos before Kitt was brutally murdered. Yet here she was now, making no effort much like she did with Kitt. A smile appeared upon his face. << Or are you here only to make a war of words. If that is the case, I have a few choice ones for you to send back to your master. >> Kirlocca now stood at the ready, prepared for anything the woman might do, even talk to him to death. ((2))
  24. Kirlocca was a bit thrown back by the Sith woman casting her lightsaber aside, but his own goal was to put her into a position of weakness so that she would understand. Carefully, he also tossed his aside as a respectful gesture, but an empty amongst Sith. At this point, the use of words would be greatly wasted amongst the two combatants, as they were now fighting for their own purpose and not of the pretense hinted; that much was clear now. Without hesitating, Kirlocca jumped at her. But not with the purpose of striking her, but rather to get her to move into a better position for him. Mid air, one of his paws lifted and released a blast of Force energy, which displayed in a brilliance of light. This action was followed by a strong Force push. All to get the Sith woman to move in a favorable direction. << You mistake my actions. That could end up costing you a small victory. >> ((1))
  25. Kirlocca was a bit more relaxed walking into the large and grand room that was offered up as the dueling room at the Jedi Master's request. It may have seem odd from a certain point of view for him to make such a request, but Kirlocca understood the advantages it came with to be more isolated with a possibility to be without the Force as well. Turning his head just slightly, he spoke with a bit of compassion towards the young woman he was about to duel. << I think it would only be proper to let you begin things. >> Kirlocca then suddenly had his lightsaber hilt within his paw and his body turned towards the young woman, prepared for anything that could happen.
