  1. Watching the Tuskan on the survelance device they kept in this particular gueast room Drogan couldn't help but respect that the Tuskan was being both rather calm and very practicle with his attempts at escape. The improvised club and what he assumed was a garrot of some kind, were not bad weapons but would be pointless against his crews armor and helmets. Watching for several mor minutes and smirking slightly at the continued attempts to draw attention to the door he finally decided on a course of action. Punching in the appropriate code he accessed the ships coms as well as the translation unit his grandfather had insisted be installed on all the bands ships back in the day. It had been terrible seeing that many protocal droids shredded for their translation units but it wasn't practical to have to maintain a small fleet of them when all that was needed was there language capabilities. Turning on the comms in that room he wondered how best to proceed. He supposed honesty would work. "I will have to ask you to calm down friend, there is no one that is foolish enough to open that door and even if we did the weapons you have improvised not be very useful. If you remember I was in full body armor and when finished with our helps choking is also no longer an option. We are not kidnapping you to sell you into slavery or hunt your for sport, there is a person on this planet that would like for us to help them train a new form of military. If you would calm down we can have a discussion as we travel to meet this person, but do know that we will not allow you to harm us or the person trying to hire us." Letting go of the comms he waited to see how the Tuskan would respond. The translator was choppy at best with his language so he had also broadcast in common. It would be interesting to see if the Tuskan calmed down.
  2. Not surprisingly the Tuskan didn't seem to take his presence at his hunting grounds well, besides the strange presence he felt from the Tuskan he seemed just like any other warrior that for some reason or another wanted him dead. It was a pity, he had hoped to talk with the Tuskan, he hadn't seen one in years, but it seems this one had other plans. Without drawing any weapons Drogan took two steps back and one to the left, while raising and dropping his hand. As the Tuskan made his swing Drogan heard the pulse of the stun setting on the snipers rifle. As it struck the Tuskan he again thought how sad it was he couldn't have gotten the man to come with him of his own free will. As the Tuskan lay on the ground Drogan called over his other soldiers and ordered them to carry the Tuskan back to the Crimson Star with as much respect as they could muster and to be sure not to leave either of the mans weapons behind. As his men gathered the Tuskan and took him back to the ship Drogan scanned the cargo he had been going through. The kills were clean so at least he knew the Tuskan was more then just fury and brutality. After returning to the ship he made sure the Tuskan had been placed not in the energy cell in the cargo hold but instead in a guest room, his weapons were obviously locked in storage but he would not treat the man as a prisoner. Drogan gave the order to take of and to head toward the landing area provided in the last communication. I would take an hour or so, which means the Tuskan would be up and about soon on an unknown ship. This would be an interesting day, it was nice to finally have some interesting days again.
  3. While in route to Onderon updated orders were sent to the Crimson Star, it appeared that the local government wanted him to locate and transport an escaped Tuscan Raider, not a normal request but it seems they wanted him to assist with what ever job he was doing so he saw no reason to complain. The communication included a rough location for the Tuskan as well as a warning that he may be dangerous. Turning to his second Drogan smirked "Its been a long time since anyone has warned us about someone being dangerous, this should be fun if nothing else, and before you say it yes I will try talking to this man first." The remaining trip to Onderon was fairly simple. Upon arriving and receiving permission to enter into atmosphere the Crimson Star began a low sweep of the region where the Tuskan was supposedly hunting/surviving. Drogan was impressed at how well he was doing for himself on an alien world but it also didn't take very long to find him, it seems they had caught him on a good day, at least for him, not so much for the men it looked like had been killed. While maintaining a fairly decent altitude he surveyed the are, the Tuskan didn't seem to know they were there and didn't seem to really have any form of allies. "We will land in a nearby clearing and make our way to his hunting ground. Two men will remain with the ship, one man will be loaded out for stealth with a sniper rifle and a stun rifle, the remaining three will follow me at a distance of 25 yards in full armor and armed with heavy weapons. No one is to act without my permission." After the appropriate responses were given the landing began and Drogan donned his armor and standard weapon load out. He would forgo the helmet, no sense in concerning the Tuskan by hiding his face. The landing and fanning out of the sniper when off without a hitch, and it took only about 5 minutes to traverse the forest to where they had last seen the Tuskan. Stopping about 15 yards outside the clearing, he stopped to watch his target going about his looting of the goods. After making sure they were well and truly alone Drogan walked into the clearing. "Well met my friend and congrats on the good hunting, I was asked to talk to you on a matter of working with the local government."
  4. "This is Captain Drogan of the Crimson Star, we have recieved your request for hiring us and will make haste to Onderon shortly after completely a task. Please forward contact information and landing zone to my ship"
  5. Figures this man was a jedi. He thought he felt someone using the force earlier but had assumed it was an external source. Oh well he had dealings with Jedi before, and sith for that matter. As they got the man on board he issued the order for his men to stand down and had them prepare to head to the village. He also had his one man place a bacta patch on the man to begin the healing process. "I can't promise how much sleep you will get but the bacta patch should help and we will begin heading to the village now." Even if they hadn't heard back from the village he was sure they would take in the wounded man. If nothing else he could ask for his old aquanitences to take him in for a few days. As the man was led to a guest room Drogan made for the bridge and was intercepted by the man he had left on the ship. "Sir we recieved a communication from Onderon, a client has personally requested our presence, or more accurately the presence of our former band for help in a matter pertaininig to what sounds like security." The crewman handed off the data pad and went to prepare his station for launch. It had been years since he had been to Onderon. Truthfully he was no more then a child at the time and had thought the planet stunning. It seems his trip to Scariff would be a short one. "This is the captain, once we have taken our injured guest to the village for help, we will be preparing for a jump to Scariff for a potential job. While in route to the island take stock of our supplies and determine if we will need to barter for anyting at the village. That is all." A few mintues later saw his gunship airborne heading to the far side of the island. He wondered how they would be accepted but he wasn't to worried. The flight was not overly long and their arrival didn't seem to cause any major distrubances. Leaving the command deck he went to find his guest and let him know they had arrived at the village. Knocking on the door he entered after. "We have arrived at the village and will disembark shortly, is there any supplies or gear you need before we drop you off Master Jedi?"
  6. The strange feeling that suddenly enveloped him and he was unsure how to proceed. His body took over and he instinctively reached for the hilt of his sword. He wasn't sure where the feeling was coming from and began to pivot his head back and forth looking for the source of what he was perceiving as danger. "Men report any and all activity in the area and enter into strike formations. Something is happening near bye and I will not be caught off guard." Turning back to the man in front of him, "Sir if you will please move quickly to the gunship, there is some unknown entity or force near bye and I would like to be a distance from here in the next five minutes." Taking two steps to the side he gestured to the ship and continued to examine the surrounding area. As he maintained his watch on the surrounding area as his men moved back to the ship. He recognized the feelings he was having, he hadn't felt it since his band had eliminated three force users at the request of a sith master. He was young but he remembered that feeling and didn't like it. Besides that sith had actually been hoping his apprentices would kill his grandfathers men and earn their sabers. That had not ended like they hoped. He also hoped that his suddenly tense attitude didn't make the injured man nervous. As he escorted the man to the ship he maintained his vigil and was hoping that there were no unknown force users lurking around. But that did bring up the other question of who was this man that he may be being hunted by a force user. Either way he had promised his assistance and was planning on giving it. As they stepped on the lift his crew man formed a firing ring at the edges pointing in all directions to provide a wide range of fire. AS the door closed he turned back to the stranded traveler. "Once the ship is in the air I will show you to one of the guest rooms and have our field medic take a quick look at you. He is not a normal doctor but he is decent at field triage. If you need anything just ask and we will provide what we can. Once we have received word from the village we will make for there and get you set up in a better position to recover."
  7. The realization dawned on Drogan that based on this man statement he was blind. It was slightly shocking for a blind man to be this calm while being approached by an unknown force on an unknown world. He had to give the man credit for courage. He was a little surprised he didn't want anyone to watch the ship but that was his choice. "There is no need to worry about payment at this time, or at all in the end, we were already orbiting the planet waiting for permission to land and visit some old friends. As to leaving a guard I will respect your choice, you were right about there being little traffic I am just naturally slightly paranoid. Is there anything you would like gathered from your ship before we depart?" While waiting on a reply Drogan contacted his ship. "Patch my comms through to our friends on the planet and any receiving terminals on the island." After receiving confirmation that he was broad casting he sent out another message. "This is Captain Drogan aboard the Crimson Star. We have landed planet side at a wreck that has hit the island and are transporting the survivor to the village for treatment and rest, please confirm permission to do so and set up some form of medical location to check more closely for injuries. Please respond as soon as possible." Turning back to the wreck victim he paused to see if he needed to collect anything or if he was ready to go. While waiting he sent his men an order to return to the ship.
  8. So the man wasn't one armed at all, and oddly enough was wearing pieces of Mandalorian armor. The man seemed pretty sure there was no problem with the ship and Drogan was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. However the ship did seem a little more heavily damaged then he thought and didn't look quite right but he was no expert ships beyond the ones he grew up around. "I appreciate the intel on the ship and am glad you seem to be fairly intact. If you wish we can send a request to the village to have them prepare some form of space for your to recover and I can leave a small number of men to guard your ship from scrappers till you are able to repair it if you would like?" While waiting on a reply he was listening to the incoming chatter from his men and everything seemed okay. There were no other people about and the ship showed no readings of any other vessel rapidly following the downed ship. It really seemed that this man just had a bit of bad luck and needed some help. While the mercenary side of him wanted to ask about what he was doing and try to judge what kind of a man he was. At this point he was a little more concerned about getting him some help and making sure that there wasn't going to be any trouble coming his way. "Do you know anyone on planet or is there anyone you want my crew to contact?"
  9. The sudden appearance of the unknown ship caught Drogan slightly off guard, but seeing how badly damaged it was and that it was going to crash caused instinct to take over. "This is the captain, all crew to battle stations and prepare to enter the planets atomosphere. We will be follwoing the decent of the damaged ship and attempt to rescue any survivors." As soon as the message was sent and the crew sent the all clear he took manual control of the ship and began his decent. He hoped this didn't spark any type of issue with the locals but there was a chance they could either save a persons life or at least salvage the ship. Either way he was planning on making it to the planet. As the Crimson Star continued its decent, Drogan suddenly had a more urgent desire to reach the planet. Something was wrong he could place it but he was now almost certain that there was someone alive on the planet that was invovled in that crash. He began broadcasting a general message requesting a response to try to get someone from the ship to answer and continued his decent. It wasn't long till the wreckage of the ship came into view and with it a somewhat stragne sight. There seemed to be a person standing near the crash, he couldn't make out much detail but he was sure they were not in good shape. Circling the site twice to check for other movement he set the gunship down 100 yards from the wreck and apparent survivor. Turning to his second he ordered him to stay with the ship and maintain combat protocals. "This is the captain, I want heavy field combat loadouts and all crew off the ship in the next three minutes. A fire team of three will immediately secure the right flank while a team of two secure the left. I will begin to approach the survivor and the ships wreckage. No one is to fire or take action without my permision. Relay all tactical information as it is obtained and make sure that you do not provoke the locals should they arrive." As he stepped of his ship and the crew began to follow his orders, he slowly approached the ship and the strange man standing in front of it. As he began to get closer he swore that the man was saying help but he wasn't seeing any lip movement or really hearing a voice. "I must be imagining things" he mumbled as he continued to approach. "Sir my name is Captain Drogan of the Crimson Star, we saw your ship fall out of orbit and are here to offer assistance. Are you alright, I recommend moving away from the ship in case the reactor goes critical. Please come towards the sound of my voice and we will take you to the small medbay on our ship and see if we can get you lodging at the village on the other side of the island. We know some people here and may be able to get them to help." This was just strange, he was within 15 yards of the man and realized he was blind and it seemed he was missing an arm. Not the strangest combat victim he had ever seen yet this man didn't look like a combatant so what was going on here?
  10. The communications that the Crimson Star had been broadcasting did reach the intended target. He was glad to hear that the "refugees" remembered his old mercenary band and were willing to meet with him. Drogan however still wanted to hear from the authority of the village they had noted as their home. He didn't want to land a gun ship and end up in a fire fight with a large population thinking they were under attack. He wasn't afraid of being overwhelmed, he was more just afraid they would have to kill a large number of the populace and while defending themselves wasn't a problem he didn't need that kind of reputation. Striking up the communications relay again he broadcast a second message. "To the village authority on the planet please provide location and permission for landing. WE would like to meet with our old friends and also seek permission to remain on world for a short period to rest and potentially hunt. Please respond at your earliest opportunity."
  11. As the Crimson Star entered the space around Scarif he couldn't help but be impressed by the beauty of the planet. It wasn't overly populated and gave off a mild feeling of peace though as with every plante he believed there could be danger lurking. Setting the ship into a low orbit he began to broadcast a general transmission for permission to land somewhere on the planet. He also included the species of the people he was looking for and asked that they be told that a small team of the mercs that brought them here had arrived to catch up and make sure they had settled in. While waiting for a reply he began a generic scan of the planet and noted that it really did seem to have a low population and the information he could pull on the planet was limited. As the ship maintained orbit he began letting his men know more about his plan. Even if they could not find work here they would spend at least a week doing a mild training regiment and letting the men relax, as much as Thrysians actually relax. They may even see about hunting some indiginous wildlife. It never hurt to have new trophies to hang on the wall.

After waiting for what felt like over an hour he radioed his ship and told them to prepare for departure. He wasn't sure if they were going to get a job out of this trip or not but he wanted off this planet one way or the other. Besides it seems that the Lemnos droid he spoke with either forgot him or they didn't have any jobs available. Either way he could look for work else where. He figured he could give them a little more time but he couldn't shake the feeling that it would just be better to leave. After waiting another hour he decided it was time to go. Leaving the building he radioed ahead to his crew and instructed them to prepare for launch within the hour. He wasnt sure why he wanted off world so bad but something just wasn't right. Taking a somewhat roundabout route to his ship as soon as he boarded his second gave the all clear and took off. Upon reaching the bridge he took his seat and addressed his second. "Something about this planet bothers me, for the time being we will put it behind and see what we can find out. I think we will head for Scariff, the cat folk we dropped off there should have setteled by now with the other populace. Its an out of the way planet and will give us some breathing room and perhaps some leads on a new job." His second acknowledged the plan and set their course.

Upon receiving the message from the Lemnos clerk droid, he switched on the comms. "As it stands we will be returning to Nubia to look over a few other potential jobs with Lemnos Industries. While in transit we will run a partial watch with half the crew rotating to rest every 12 hrs. I expect to arrive on Nubia without incident. That is all" Settling into his chair he punched in the route for Nubia and began his journey. While in transit he spent some time looking more into Lemnos industries and the planet itself and found nothing to out of the ordinary. After a few days of uneventful travel he found himself again orbiting Nubia. Not much seemed to have changed and he was able to get permission to land and was pleased to find he was able to get the same landing pad. After setting the crew into shifts, and allowing two to travel to the bar he had visited before, in twos till all had a chance to visit, he set out for Lemnos. Fully armored and armed as always he noticed that while no one really seemed to be acting different he felt something was. He hated when he had these feelings, the normally never ended well. So it was that when he arrived at Lemnos he was more tense then he would have liked but at least nothing seemed overtly hostile. Entering the show room he announced himself to the service droid available and awaited further instruction. He really couldn't shake the thought something had changed but it didn't seem like his instincts were right. Either way he did a quick armor and weapons check and waited to see what happened.

After settling into a nice orbit he made the call to Lemnos. "Lemnos Industries this is Captain Dedroska aboard the Crimson Star. I am transmitting to request any information on other jobs you may have available for my crew and I. Please send all pertinent intel to me for inspection and job selection." After pausing for a moment he decided to go ahead with his idea. "I would also like to discuss the creation of a custom droid drone/bike for my ship." After sending the message he called his crew together to split out the previous jobs reward.
  15. "I understand completely, as agreed I will contact Lemnos to inquire as to other job and after selecting one for my crew and I will pass on the information I have gathered to you." Standing he crosses his one arm over his chest in salute with his right fist resting on his heart. "It has been a pleasure doing business with you and I hope to do so again sometime. Till then may your fortunes be what ever you make them and your enemies be left in your wake." Still smirking slightly he exited cantina. As soon as he was outside he contacted his ship to alert them of his return and to have them prepare for departure to orbit. He would make good on his deal with the Gems but he didn't think they would appreciate him occupying their tower while he did it. As he walked he wondered just what all the Gems were truly involved in and just how clever they really were, its not often you met someone that could out class a Hutt cartel. Either way it was time to get off Nar Shadda, there wasn't to much keeping him here at the moment. As soon as he boarded the Crimson Star he gave the orders to make for a low orbit. As his second took the ship out of atmosphere he checked his crews finances and was pleased to see the payment for the last job had come in. While the ship was well supplied and in excellent condition he never hurt to invest in upgrades for both the ship and crew. "We have done well men, and we may have made valuable business contacts so here is to the future of the Crimson Sun Mercenary Company"
  16. His eyes narrowed for only the briefest of moments, before he did something he had not done in years. It was strange but he couldn't help it. He laughed, and not a snarky or condescending laugh but a deep rich laugh, something he was unaccustomed to doing. Picking up his glass he held it across the table at the two women. "My dear ladies, you have described something that is absolutely true, the need to prove oneself and having a chip on your shoulder is no way for a warrior to live, and my band and I stick only to the warriors code and its use to fill our bellies and fulfill our dreams." He pauses a moment as he chuckles a little more. "As to dirty tricks, well like I said before, it all depends on what side of the trick your on whether you consider it dirty or not. May you ply your trade in whatever manner you see fit if it helps you to fulfill your dreams." He waited to see how they would respond and for once looked across the table not at pirates, or odd merchants but at what they truly were. Warriors in their own right that fought to fulfill their dreams and shape the reality around them to make them come true.
  17. Drogan couldn't help but admit that they were stunning, but he was almost certain that they had tried something. He was also aware that pushing that subject would be potentially insulting so he decided to shift his focus to the more interesting topic at hand. His respect for them had risen with the news that they had somehow taken control of a hutt organization. "So you have managed to bring together a large grouping of former Hutt businesses and now control what one might consider the majority share of a planet. It is quite impressive. As to watching the skies why do I have the sneaking suspicion that you do not only watch the skies for prizes but for potential entertainment." He couldn't help but assume that these women enjoyed the thrill of battle nearly as much as he did. Leaning back to appear more at ease, or at least as at ease as he could look he took a small swig of his drink. "And you are absolutely correct about me understanding not wanting to give away to much information about your inner workings, I am sure I can pull up some generic information of of several data networks but if I had to guess it would be all of the general fluff that surrounds organizations such as yours. Just as I am sure the general data you pulled up on your data pad earlier is a rather interesting view on Thrysians." At the last statement he cocked an eyebrow and raised his glass in salute. These women were interesting and deserving of respect and he found he actually enjoyed their company.
  18. He was a little surprised they agreed to all his terms, but was even a little more surprised at the offer of a down payment. He picked up the chit examined it for a moment before setting it back down on the table. "I appreciate the offer of a down payment but until I know if Lemnos is willing to hire me or not I won't be taking any of your money. No sense in you paying for something if it doesn't come to pass and that way there is no bad blood." He did however call over the serving droid and order them all another round of drinks. As he gave the order he also took a moment to send the all clear signal to his ship by tapping the comms. At least now his crew knew no foul play had taken place. As he turned back to the women seated across from him he leaned his one arm on the table. "Now that a small amount of business has been concluded, I would like to know exactly what it is you tried to do to me. I don't mind the attempt I am more interested in discovering how you normally do business and a little more about your organization. You seem highly organized and have a longer reach then I expected to find on the smugglers moon." He wasn't sure if they would answer him but until the decided the meeting was over he was going to find out just who he had suddenly began working for and what they were involved in.
  19. So it seems his suspicions were confirmed, somehow the beautiful women across from him had attempted some form of manipulation. Its partial sucess seems to have earned him the right to a quick and consice answer. He could respect that, there was no sense in paying full price if you could force the talks to go in your favor. He found himself smirking a bit, something he was not accustomed to doing in the pressence of potential business associates, especially after the tricks. Yet while is first instinct was to simply cut them down and move on he found them to fascinating. "Hmmm, well I will be the first to admit that corporate espionage is not my strong suit I will make you an proposition. I will reach out to Lemnos, after you provide them a review of service that is, and request they send me a list of potential jobs they may have for me. I will select one of those jobs and perform it as expected. The remainders on the list will be" and here he added air quotes, "hacked off the transmission to my ship. It is Nar Shaddda, they couldn't expect the signal to be absolutely secure. All you would need to do is select a few of those extra jobs that have delivery dates and planets, if not the exact landing place, and pluck them like ripe fruit from a tree. My job will not be tampered with, I assure you both sides would lose in that situation. Once my job is completed and you have taken your share I would request 15 percent of what ever profit you may net from the shipments. I also expect you to make sure that the jobs are in no way traced back to me. This includes you providing the fack hacking of the sigan so if they become suspicious it will lead to some other orginization or mercenaries." He paused briefly and looked both women over again. "I feel it goes without saying that this could be the begining of a valuable relationship, however I at the same time put the safety and care of my crew above all else. If for some reason you feel the need to betray them or me, I will find a way no matter how dangerous to strike back. I respect you both quite a bit, you have a keen sense of what you want and are not afraid to make bold decisions, as seen by what ever you were attempting a few minutes ago. So I will be blun, it would be an honor to work with you, and once I take a job I complete it regardless of barriers, all I will ask is the same level of respect and loyalty." He decided to take a calculated risk and drank some more of his beverage. No futher problems arose with his perception confirming it was somehow one of the women. He maintained eye contact with the one he suspected and finished off the drink setting it down with one hand and dropping his other to his side. His bold statement and action either just earned him their respect and the job, or he was about to have to fight his way out of this place, a place they obiously held sway. Either way things were about to get interesting.
  20. He immediately realized something was off. Without trying to give to much away his training and years of meditation instantly told him something was attempting to influence his mind. His eyes began darting around but he couldn't see any decernable threat comeing from someone in the cantina, and no one else seemed to be showing any signs of discomfort. As he tried to refocus his mind he had to pulle his eyes away from the beautiflu emerald orbs across from him. Was it in his drink, some form of contact drug. He was not happy at something trying to influence him in this way. Pausing a moment he fell into a moment of meditation and was finally able to speak, there would be an edge to his voice but he was not concerned about that. Someone had the audacity to try to drug him, whether it was the beautiful women across from him or not he was no longer in a good mood. "My interests with Lemnos industries are my own..." that was where he intended to stop but he couldn't help but add "however if they provide continueing job offers I will not turn them down. However I will not be turned into a simple security guard, my men and I require more action then that to keep our combat edge." He was still having trouble forming full thoughts but he would be damned if what ever was trying to influence him would win. "As to jobs being purely on the level, my years as a mercenary have taught me that a job being on the level depends on who is giving the job and what they consider the level. If you are asking if I have done some unsavory things the answer is yes, my only requirement is that I don't kill those that can't fight back, there is no honor or sport in it." Why in the world was he tellilng this women his honor code. He was becoming increasingly angry at what ever was trying to influence his mind. Pausing again he looked around again and decided the only two options for this odd feeling were his female companions or his drink, a drink they had ordered and provided. Narrowing his eyes he centered himself and began to truly study the women across from him. He couldn't deny he was impressed they had made him this loose tongued but it ended now. Having a focus for his mental defenses would hopefully allow him to counter act whatever they had done. Leaning back away from the women slightly he rested both his hands on the table. "I must admit you are a curious pair, and I am impressed with your tactics and your apparent information gathering, " he gave a nod to the red head, "however while Lemnos has been good to me on this job as I said it will be a job I take periodically for the money but I am not sure how steady a security job I would want with a larger corporation. Now if you would be good enough to answer my question, what were you hoping to gain from my fledgling relationship with Lemnos?"
  21. The reply really didn't surprise him that much. He had assumed they were smugglers or some form militant organization. When his drink was set in front of him he picked his up and examined it briefly before taking a small sip. He noticed people always were somewhat surprised by a merc that didn't drink but it was also a policy of his to never drink any large quantity til discussions/negotiations had concluded. "Piracy seems like quite an interesting occupation, and it seems to be highly profitable." He looked back and forth between the two of them for a moment and upon seeing the one pull out a data pad he couldn't help but smirk a little on the inside. So it would seem the one stirring her water would be the one asking the questions and trying to gather the intel over all. He thought a moment and then decided to answer the ones question, even if she was more interested in gathering intel on him. "As to the ideas and resources of Lemnos, I am not overly sure. The droid designs are streamlined and effective but as to the backing of the company I am not overly sure. However they seem to wish to impress not only with their droids and credit limits but also with their collection of rare antiquities. They had amassed a rather expansive collection on Nubia." He paused wondering what these women had in mind but he also was enjoying the company so he was willing to be patient. It had been some time since he spoke to someone that didn't immediately dismiss him as nothing more then a killer out of hand."
  22. He had to admit the cantina was nicer then he expected to find on the moon and he was pleased to see it pulled in a large number of clients. He had to chuckle quietly at the respect these women commanded. They certainly were well known around here and seemed in complete control of their surroundings. Before taking his seat he sent his second and other soldier off to get food and drink and return it to the ship for the men that had to remain behind. After sending them off and checking his weapons he proceeded to sit in such a way as to offer easy access to a number of his weapons. Old habits never seemed to far from his mind and while he worried the set up would seem threatening he hadn't lived his whole life as a soldier to let his guard down now. Nodding to the women sitting across from him as she stirred her water. "I have actually only done one job for them at this point, the delivery which you recently received. They do seem to be fairly young, though they don't seem to mind tossing around large sums of credits for minor jobs." Thinking for a moment he scanned the Cantina to make sure his men had gotten their orders and moved back to the gunship. "Their headquarters on Nubia were surprisingly well guarded and no expenses seemed to have been spared on both decor and security. However unless they offer me another job or you have a return request I am currently once again looking for employment, and while I will offer them my services in the future, they are now just a past employer whom I have a decent record with." As he watch the women across the table he continued to occasionally scan the cantina. He was curious as to why they really brought him here. They were obviously rathre important on this moon and he doubted they had invited him here just for his company, most people found spending to much time with him unsettling as he was almost always on guard. This was going to be an interesting meeting but he was also curious as to what he could learn from them. "If you don't mind me asking ladies, what exactly does your organization do?"
  23. Drogan walked over to his men and began to address his men in Thrysian. "I will be concluding our business with the Gem organization, they have offered to take us for drinks. At this juncture three of the six of you will remain with the ship to monitor the ship and prevent unauthorized access. Two will be sent back with drink and food for those that remain behind while my second and I conduct any finalized business." As always there was no grumbling or complaints as the men drew straws and chose those that would remain behind. After wards, he checked over his armor and weapons one more time while making sure the clasp on his cloak showing his bands emblem was still in place. He had never gotten used to the formal cloak worn for meetings and ceremony but his grandfather had always insisted. He personally just believed it inhibited his ability to quickly access his sword. When he as certain all was ready he approached the ones known as the Gems. Approaching the Gems flanked by his small retinue he was curious as to why they wanted to drink with a band of Thrysian mercenaries. Either way he hoped if nothing else to learn more about the moon and have a pleasant conversation but it never hurt to make business contacts either. Though he had to admit his men would require combat soon, Thrysian blood lust was nothing to sneeze at and regular combat helped to keep the rage at bay. "If you are ready please lead on, we look forward to seeing more of your moon and learning a bit about it." Turning to his group he spoke bluntly in Thrysian "You will all act as though this is a mission and maintain your composure at all times, when you return to the ship you may rotate out being on leave and relaxing, but not a moment before am I understood." As expected they all agreed and offered up their salute. Turning back to the two women he smiled as warmly as he could, or at least what he considered warmly and gestured for them to lead on.
  24. Drogan noticed the slight narrowing of the womens eyes, though he wasn't sure what slight he may have commited. When turning back to inquire he couldn't help but smirk at the comment about the Cantina's. "I will admit when we were part of a larger band, the smugglers moon was avoided. We never were sure if it was worth the trip due to not being sure exactly how the power structure was set up. I know very little about the moon other then it has an interesting reputation." He wasn't quite sure what to make of this place even now. His men were alert as always but they were not accustomed to this type of environment so he wasn't sure about staying to long, no sense in having his men slay a bunch of smugglers should trouble arise. Her sudden invitation was an interesting proposal and he gave it the briefest moment of thought. Turning from her briefly he shouted out to his men in Thrysian and had them immediately snap to attention and stop watching the droids. Turning back to the women standing next to him "It would be our pleasure to share a drink with you, if you are willing to provide my men a few moments we will prepare to depart."
  25. It took Drogan a moment to realize he was being addressed, he had been focusing on the droids and how the men were monitoring their progress. He turned his attention to the women addressing him and in what he hoped was a pleasant manner took her hand and looked her directly in the eye. "My apologies for the lack of introduction, my name is Drogan DeDroska, I command the group of Ex Sun Guard monitoring your droids. I am glad that we managed to meet your expectations on delivery and am glad to hear you are pleased with the service." He hoped his handshake was not overly aggressive but he had to admit he found both of these women to be interesting, they were both attractive but something about their confidence and movement made he begin to re-evaluate their actual danger level. Releasing her hand he went back to accessing the droids as they worked. "I must say I am slightly surprised to be delivering such an expansive number of droids to your organization, these droids are not cheap. Especially the customized bodyguard models you have purchased. " As he was speaking he noticed that while the droids were working flawlessly the speed they were moving was for some reason being reduced, it was at that moment that he realized the larger body guard droids that had been spread out as flankers were actually directing the more standard models. His eyes began to dart from the droids to his men as he noted they were also monitoring the droids and their strange communications. It was good to know his men's combat awareness was still at a peak. "I must say they are impressive, I will have to update some of our combat routines to deal with these tactics should we ever come across them on a mission." Turning back to women whose hand she had taken, "That is not to say anything about your security or the purchase I apologize if my thoughts wondered. Is there anything more I can do for you or your associate? If not would I be able to request the location of a reputable or at the very least clean Cantina? I will allow my men a few ours shore leave before looking for further employment."
