  1. Taking the Chit in hand he double checked it against the order he had recognized before handing it back to the women. He had to admit the person giving directions had not lied. Both of these women were quite beautiful by any standards but while he could tell they were most likely trained in combat just by how gracefully they moved, he wasn't sure how dangerous they were. Oh well that is enough thought on that matter. Snapping to attention he activated his com. "Bring the droids out using a standard phalanx with the basic models and two flanking wings with the customized. Order them to sweep and clear the room." Looking back over to the two women he nodded and stepped beside them to watch the display. While he waited the few minutes he knew it would take the droids to appear he began to wonder about these two strange clients again. The droids that were ordered were defense droids and some customized body guards but the quantity was impressive and while he had not taken to much time to inspect the customized droids he knew high quality combat droids when he saw them. The other thing that threw him off a little was that while both of them appeared to be capable of combat but smart enough to realize that extra help never hurt. His mind flashed back to his grandfather "Remember boy no matter how good you are, there will always be someone better, a team of men and women you can trust is something you can truly not live without." He wouldn't have chosen to trust his life to droids but at the same time there is almost no chance of a double cross. Either way their savvy impressed him. Maybe they were more formidable then he thought. It was at that moment the lift dropped and the droids made there appearance followed closely by a heavily armored cadre of Thrysian Guardsman. No sooner did the lift touch the ground then his seconds voice rang out and the droids split apart into the three groups flawlessly and began their clearing of the room.
  2. Drogan couldn't help but do something he rarely did. He chuckled as he thought about what most people he had met considered dangerous. Either way it would be interesting to meet these contacts and see just how dangerous they were. As he began his decent to the planets surface he was suprised at how lively and somewhat organized the smugglers moon seemed to be. Making his was to the tower and docking bay designated in his last communication he brought the gunship into the bay and landed it broad side to give his crew a greater fireing pattern should it be neccessary. He was surprised to find the tower under so much construction but at the same time the remodeling was apparently upgrading not only appearance but functionality. "This is Captain Drogan, I will be disembarking to meet with the contacts and want the ship to remain on high alert. Should it be attacked and the impossible begins to become apparent the ship and everything on it is to be destroyed." He also request the presence of his second in command to perform a weapons and armor check before he disembarks. Walking off his ship he felt just a little out not wearing his helmet but at the same time hiding his face during a meeting just went against his nature. Looking around he noticed there was still more construction going on, but he at this point didn't see any of the contacts mention, just a few random droids. With no contacts in site he made a circuit of the loading bay and contacted the ship. "At this point men the contacts are not present, maintain alert status and one of you prepare the droids for off loading. I want them marched out in miliatary style once I confirm the contacts to show off Lemnos droids. We currently work for them and will do our best to make a good impression. I will maintain an open comm." Without waiting for a reply, knowing his orders will be carried out to the letter, he began to make another circuit of the bay.
  3. Listening in on the comms while continuing to scan the area Drogan was the first to hear the message. "Roger that, will proceed to hangar 5D. What can I expect the contact to look like?" After relaying his message back he hit the ships comm. "Attention crew we will be making our way to the planets surface. Until further notice shields will remain fully active and all crewmen are to man their gun stations. Any ship that approaches, that is not governmental, will be given one warning and then neutralized. Till further notice this is to be treated as a combat mission." After hearing the crew sound off he set course for the planet and began his decent into Nar Shaddaa. If nothing else he was curious to meet the client that not only ordered high end defense droids for a smugglers moon, but one that was wealthy enough to afford them. He knew very little of the ones called the Gems but he was pretty sure that was the name of the group only and was curious to see what its members were like.
  4. No reply was forthcoming it seemed and after two hours his second recommended entering a deep orbit and contacting Lemnos Industries. While not really wishing to contact them he had to agree the situation was odd. Putting the ship into a slightly deeper orbit he ordered the crew to maintain sheilds and full alert as something seemed off. "This is Captain Drogan contacting Lemnos industries, have arrvied at Nar Shaddaa but have not had contact with the client and as of yet have not gone down to the planet. Please advise. if a response is not forthcoming within the next 8 hrs will simply go to landing coordinates and await client. If Client does not arrive within the 72 hr window cargo will be returned." After getting off the communication relay he decided there was not time like the present to put his men through some drills. Calling all hands to attention he began launching debri into space and calling out gun emplacements to bring it down. The crew responded beautifully, especially since should the miss they knew how much extra training they would have to go through and that they would lose pay. His men were performing well as expected and he left his second in command to finish the drill while he returned to the command deck. "Maybe grandfather was right about this place after all, I won't enter without confirmation and at this rate my men will get bored. I would hate to have to return the droids but I am also not going to babysit those clankers for any longer then I have to. " He sighs as he waits to hear from either Lemnos or the clients and wonders if he should have bothered taking a job that leads to the smugglers moon, so far the place was unremarkable and didn't even seem to have much of a functioning government as the arrival of a gunship in orbit had set up no red flags. Either way he began sending out periodic scans to see if there was anything out there worth noting.
  5. The alert went out immediately leaving hypserspace. The ships sheilds hummed to life and the crew made its way to their gunnery stations. "This is captain Drogan, while all seems to be clear now I want everyone on high alert with weapons to hand should we somehow be boarded. Remember, any unauthorized entrance to this ship is met with only one reaction and that is execution. Should they make it on board I want their hides to adorn our next banner is that understood." After recieving the usual blood thirsty cheer over the intercom Drogan took a moment to smile and remember the days when these men, and he himself served his grandfather. They were good times and while they seemed vicious and blood thirsty there wasn't a man among them who's honor he could ever question. They had taken a job, and one way or the other the job was going to be completed, even if he had to crawl over mounds of dead theives to make it happen. Smiling he set his course for the delivary location provided on his data pad. It would be an interesting trip, his grandfather had always avoided Nar Shaddaa due to its ever changing political, that is to say criminal undertones. The old warrior just didn't have the time for it and besides a 200 man company of former Sun Guard had plenty of other work but you had to start somewhere. "This is Captain Drogan aboard the Crimson Star, I have entered space near Nar Shaddaa and am making contact with the buyers, the Blood Gems, for Lemnos Industries, please advice on approach and location for drop off." While he didn't like waiting on the edge of the planet he couldn't see another option. Besides no point landing in the wrong place or having do deal with undue interruptions if the client wanted to meet at a different location. Handing the helm over to his second with orders to contact him should the need arise, Drogan returned to his quarters to meditate using the Thrysian style of martial arts. It was always better to face any battle, even perhaps one of wits, with a clear mind and a ready hand.

After giving the barkeep the alloted time, and seeing no undue attention being paide to him Drogan decided it was time to make his way back to the ship. After paying his tab he made his way back to the landing pad where his ship and crew awaited him. After passing along several orders to prepare system checks he let his second in command know the plan. "We will be picking up the shipment within the hour if all is ready. Once in orbit we will go through all of the appropriate checks with customs and the government officials with them. Once past the orbital check points we will be emptying the shipping containers of the droids and moving them into the secured passenger rooms. They are not to be activated. Once they have been secured and the containers filled with enough junk to simulate the weight and be resealed we will make the jump to Nar Shaddaa. While in transit all crew will remain at battle stations in shifts and the sheilds will be prepped for immediate activation after we leave hyperspace. If all goes well the precautions are not needed but I want nothing more then complete readiness none the less. As my grandfather once told me, you never know what waits just beyond the horizon so be prepared to destroy all the adversaires that may come before you even if they are yet only phantasoms." After providing his instructions he boards the ship and makes his way to the captains chair. Within the hour they have loaded the cargo and made their way to customs. After succesfully passing through the plan is implimented and the coordinates for Nar Shaddaa entered into the navicomputer. The jump to hyperspace is uneventful and the crew settle into combat shifts, never quite sure what their captain may have gotten them into but always excited for the thrill of it as all good Thrysian Sun Guards are.

Taking the data card he looks over the details. "This seems like a fairly routine job so I will most likely take only my standard crew, and the use of the droids would only be in the most dire of circumstances." Standing he nodded to the clerk droid and then to the security droid and left the office. As he left the corporate building he began planning the best course for moving the droids onto the ship and resupplying before heading to Nar Shaddaa. Activating his communicator "This is Drogan to the Crimson Star, any supplies required for a trip with possible combat encounters please pick up immediately and prep the ship for take off in the next 4 hours." Pausing for a moment he gets the all clear from his second in command, an old veteran of the previous company. After making his call he begins to head back to the tavern he was at before. After walking back up to the bar he orders a drink and thanks the barkeep for the advice earlier. After a few moments he calls the barkeep back over. "I took the job from Lemnos, and it is a pretty hefty sum, are there any rumors floating around about people gathering intel on shipments to Nar Shaddaa? I want to be prepared for what may come, and the basic information that the company provided, while helpful doesn't give me as much detail as I would like on the potential threats I may face in route. I will pay you 150 creds if you can provide me with any valuable intel in the next 2 hrs." Waiting to see what the bartender would say he positions himself at the end of the bar furthest from the door to get a better view of the bar and its patrons and to if anyone has noticed him or is paying him undue attention.

It was a strange feeling seeing all the old armors and weapons, and realizing that even though he wore his heavy crimson and gold armor as a second skin it really was a stark contrast to the beautiful pieces he saw before him. Snapping back to reality he began to fill out the data pad that had been handed to him, explaining past transport jobs and successes and even admitting to a few failures, he figured they would be able to find out about them anyway. While continuing to work on the questions being asked he takes small glances at both the office droid and the security droid. While they are both pristine like they are brand new he somehow got the feeling they were actually well used. It was also a little surprising that such a high end security droid would be stationed in the office with a clerk. He couldn't see anything in the office that would strike him as overly sensitive to the company but to each there own. After finishing the form he handed it back to the clerk "I have no doubt a company like this could be very generous, but for the time being lets just start with the basics. I don't see the point in trying to negotiate if I may be disqualified from the job based on a background check of some form." After pausing a moment he smirks "Then again something tells me negotiating with a corporation as large as this one is something that the larger mercenary companies may try but this job doesn't sound like something they would bother with so who knows I may just get lucky." Sitting back slightly in his chair he shifts to allow better access to his weapons, an old habit that wouldn't allow him to sit comfortably until he could see the entrance to whatever local he was in and have easy access to either his sword or his heavy blasters. Hopefully the droids didn't notice, or if they did realized it wasn't a hostile move but more one of reflexive attentiveness.

Drogan slowly walked off the lift of his gunship stretching his arms high above his head and performing several stances of the Thrysian fighting style. His heavy armor was clean if not overly polished. He had never seen the purpose of making the armor shine to the point it would give you away in a fire fight. Work had been rather slow of late and he was hoping that Nubia may present him with some new opportunities for him and his crew. Checking in with landing authorities he decided to take a walk to get a feel for the planet as well as gather information on a company he was rather interested in. Lemnos Industries was of peak interest to him. Being such a new company he was sure he would be able to find work with them, and who knew if he was lucky he may even be able to pick up regular paying work for a short time. His armor did make him stand out slightly, even without the helmet but when approaching a new world even a supposedly civilized one his grandfather had always said better safe then sorry. Slowing working his way into the capital he decided the best place to pick up the local news was one of the many taverns that seemed to thrive in the city. Walking in he caused only a minor stir, and decided that this establishment would work. Walking up to the bar he ordered a drink and began asking the bartender about the local work scene and Lemnos Industries. "Thanks for the drink friend, was wondering if you could tell me anything about Lemnos Industries, and if you can't, know of anyone looking to higher security or transport services, or both. My crew and I are looking for our next job and are new to the planet." The bartender looked him over once and then decided to let him know that Lemnos was hiring security escorts for shipments and to check with them. Thanking the bartender Drogan payed and pushed himself away from the bar, his armor giving the barest of whispers as he checked his weapons and decided it was time he paid Lemnos a visit to see if he could dig up some work. After taking a short ride he stood outside the entrance to a rather impressive corporate head quarters. It was strange normally his grandfather would have approached this type of place, and he would only have been with him if he thought there was something he could learn. Taking a deep breath he squared his shoulders and walked into the building.

At several times in his young life his grandfather was approached by force users on both sides of the spectrum indication he was force sensitive. All of these instances led to nothing but his grandfather sequestering him at their base of operations and forcing him to perform both the Echani and Thrysian meditation rituals. At the age of 16 his grandfather passed and left him his weapons and armor. The remaining mercenaries decided that without the leadership of his grandfather it was time to part ways.
