He had to admit it was strange sitting down to talk with Mandalorians. He had nothing against them, and in fact his old merc band used to enjoy interacting with them, weather it was combat or not. He respected them and their beliefs and looked forward to the conversation. It was not every day one got to speak to warriors of such high honor and skill and he intended to enjoy it. "Greetings, I believe formal introductions are in order. I am Drogan Dedroska, captain of the Crimson Star and commander of the Thrysian Guardsman within. It is a pleasure to meet a fellow warrior. I hope this conversation is to our mutual benefit." Taking the mandalorians hand he gives it a firm shake and then turns his attention to the one who has not spoken and offers his hand while seting his helm down with the other.

Arranging his armor and weapons, as well as a bit of a surprise in case things went side ways Drogan reached out to his second in command. "I will be departing for the meeting momentarily. You have your order should anything happen to me, you have complete command and access to all the bands accounts with my passing. All I will ask is that you level that building, I would rather they not be allowed to take anything from my person as a trophy. As long as I have a pulse you will recieve the armors double beep transmission so simply monitor the coms." After recieving the orders and confirming them Drogan decided it was time to meet these interesting mercs. Walking into the cantina it is not hard to spot the person he is supposed to meet. He is slightly taken aback that there is someone with them, but after a brief moment of calculation still believe he can fight them off if it comes to that. Walking over he stops by the table and looks them over briefly before removing his helm "I am Drogan, captain of the Crimson Star and leader of its crew, I believe you have requested this meeting to discuss a matter of business." Taking a seat on the opposite side of the table to allow himself a view of the door and greater range of movement he sets his helm down and waits to see what they do.

"This is Captain Drogan of the Crimson Star, I have recieved your request and will meet you at the local cantina. I will be waiting at a table near the back, at noon." This would be interesting to say nothing else, he was curious as to what this person wanted.

The young Cathar women departed and without much preamble the eggs were collected. He never met her contact but that didn't really matter. A two way split was preferable after all. After exchanging the Eggs for the promised bounty he forwarded half of the reward to the young women and processed the rest into his account for himself and his crew. Tattooine had been profitable with him netting about 3.5 million between the invasion and the eggs. "Men, while I know it is not our style to rest on our laurels at the moment we have no work. I believe it is time we upgraded some aspects of the ship and our gear and to see what the galaxy holds beyond this dustball. Lets break for orbit and then we can decide what we will do next. Prior to doing this though lets see if any of the Black Sun members on this planet have any special weapons they can part with." After his men cheered he went to a local Cantina to see what information he could find.

Looking the small Cathar over he nodded and reached out to his ship to pick him up. "I have no problem picking up the eggs for a bounty but if you don't mind I will take one other trophy." Reaching for his short sword he removed one of the krayt dragons fangs and hefted in his hand. It would look good among the other trophies in his quarters. "Now as to this body guard is there anything I should know or be worried about? I am going to be arriving at my desitnation aboard a gunship and don't want to have to eliminate someone that is trigger happy." Waiting for a reply he looked over the battle field and had to shake his head slightly, he had never hunted something this large with a heaby pistol, or with undead hounds as it were. Looking back at the small Cathar he couldn't help but wonder if she was actually a sith or just a person that happens to tap into the force, either way she was going to be someone to keep an eye out for in the future.

It was decidely unsettling that the young women somehow made the dead rise and walk but his warrior training allowed him to compartmentalize that so he could deal with the matter at hand. He wasn't excited to be using heavy blaster pistols to attack a dragon but he always did enjoy a challenge. Kneeling by the window he slowly aimed his pistol and squeezed off a shot, the bolt strking the dragon on the side of its head. Damn he thought, he wasn't happy with taking shots at such a small target but he would attempt it again. "Not on the head in the nose, you need to get it right this time hunter." He turned his head slightly to cast a glare at the young women, "I will be doing my best, but if you it is not up to your standards you may want to take up a blaster and aim for a small hole one a moving creature." Slowly drawing a bead once more on the beast he watched its attack patterns till he was sure he had it down. Drawing in a breath and slowly letting it out he fired, grinning slightly as the bolt disappeared up the dragons nose, if nothing else the creature looked dazed. Taking advantage of its lack of movement Drogan took the chance and let loose a stream of five shots, three of which he believed went into the nose as well. This beliefe seemed to have been confirmed as the beast fell to the side twitching, it seemed to still be alive but severly brain damaged. "Well young lady I believe we need to finish off the beast. I hope whatever drew it here was worth it, and that you can explain the walking corpses as we approach it."

Looking out the same window Drogan couldn't help but smile under his helm. It had been awhile since he got to hunt such a beast but sadly he had not comed prepared for such a hunt. Switching to his com he sent a message to his second. "Currently a Krayt dragon is closing on my location, I want the gunship airborne and closing on this location within the next two minutes. Lock onto my coms and wait for further instruction upon arrival." Looking over at the young women standin in the room he did a quick mental combat scenario and saw no way of winning with the limited weaponry he had brought with him, and force or no stopping one of these beasts was not going to be easy. "I suggest we move from the building and attempt to lead it away from the settlement. If it is tracking you we can lead it to an open space where my gunship can bombard it from above and quickly end its life. Unless of course you have any other suggestions?"

The sound was something Drogan had never heard before but it set his warriors blood to boiling, that sound, that sound could only come from something that was worthy to hunt. Focusing again on the young women in front of him he stepped into the room to examine the dead. They were certainly all killed in a similar manner, and one he had only seen a few times before. These beings had all been killed by the force or claws or both, an impressive feat for one so young. Removing his hand from the hilt of his sword he looked the scene over one more time. "For one so young this is impressive, force or no, you took out quite a few people here. How many were attacking you? Then again that may be a question for another time. Yes I was on the Marie and yes we have met though it has been awhile. I am not sure what drew me here, but hearing that sound gives me hope there may be some excitement to come. I don't know what drew me here but I am glad for it. The fight to come, I sense in my bones it will be one worth remembering." Pausing a moment he sent a com to his ship to ready it for departure and potentially a hunt. "Now young lady if you would be so kind to explain what happened here, perhaps we can prepare for what ever is coming and see what our futures, no matter how short, hold."

The sudden and unnatural sand storm caused both Drogan and his tuskan companion to wonder at the nature of it. They could both sense that something about this was unnatural. On impulse Drogan decided to return to his ship, towards whatever was causing the storm, while his companion chose to remain to see if he could understand what was happening to the desert The journey back was uneventful and upon arriving at his ship his men were on high alert. "I will be equipping myself for a trip into town. I will be going alone but want the ship ready to extract me as needed. Something strange is going on here and I intend to find out what." After issuing his orders and changing from the Tuskan robes back into his armor and picking up his standard weapon load out Drogan left the ship and began his trip into town. The town was nothing special, just like this entire planet in his mind. They were not warriors here, just rogues and thieves. It didn't matter, something was pulling him into this town, something that caused that sandstorm. He felt both nervous and excited. Perhaps here was a chance for actual combat against a warrior worthy of being called such. His hopes were dashed slightly upon reaching the building where the sensation was coming from. Either way this is where he was getting that strange feeling so the worse thing that would happen is nothing. Entering the building he ignored the onlookers and began making his was upstairs, following the strange sensation. No one bothered to try to stop him, but to be fair very few people wanted to randomly tangle with a Thrysian. Reaching the room where the disturbance was he paused a moment and reached out with his instincts, he hoped his years of training would tell him if it was a trap but all he sensed was confusion and a strange feeling, like the atmosphere was strange. Placing his hand on the hilt of his sword he opened the door, only to be looking at, well he wasn't sure what but he was pretty sure he recognized at least one of the people before him?

Drogan was impressed the Tuskan had chosen to speak this much, he attempted to mimic him while eating the gourd and had to admit the flesh wasn't bad, or at least not the worst thing he had eaten. "I appreciate the opportunity to learn of your people, you are warriors, real warriors, something the Galaxy is lacking now. I hope that we can work together and that I prove worthy of what you are willing to show me." surprisinlgy the heat wasn't that bad. After spending years training in heavy armor and on desolate worlds it was just another thing he had to adapt to. Sitting in the shade of the large stone he wondered what secrets this desert truly held, and if he should be disturbing them. A sudden realization dawned on him, "If I offend you or your leaders in anyway please do not hesitate to alert me or if needed, eliminate me. My men are aware this cold happen and they have been instructed to seek no revenge, all I ask is my body be returned so it can disposed of in the Thrysian way." Waiting for a reply Drogan went back to surveying his surroundings and enjoyed the sight.

Though the Tuskan couldn't see it, Drogan smiled, he had hoped to get to know more about this warrior culture if he was going to work with them. Stooping down he picked up the robes "I will change into these and disarm as you ask, my crew will disarm and set up camp around the ship, your brethren are more then welcome to continue to watch them as they see fit but know that even unarmed they would not be easy meat." Taking the robes Drogan entered the ship and explained what was happening to his crew, though not happy about it they agreed to do it. As he doned the robes he also went to his trophy room and selected an archaic looking hand axe and short sword. While neither had the vibro properties he prefered they were both quite deadly, as he scars would prove. Hiding them amongst the robes he had each member of his crew attempt to find them and when satisified that none could he exited the ship. "I hope the robes are being worn correctly and if not I will apologize for any offense, whenever you are ready let us begin our journey as long as the conditions are acceptable."

The invasion, if it could be called that, had gone well. The combat they had managed to find had been rather slight but at least it gave them a chance to stretch their legs. For the next several days Drogan had allowed his men some controlled leave and also had partaken of a little raiding as they stocked the ship with food and drink as well as some trophies and payments for assisting the Black Sun with their invasion. He had kept his ship at the ruined air field and smiled every time he came and went knowing that his instincts weren't wrong and that they were being watched. He had his men coming and going in pairs or groups no bigger then three. He knew anyone wanting to ambush them would want to catch them all outside because if even 2 were in the ship terrible things would happen. it was later on a rather boring day when Drogan suddenly wondered what had happened to his strange tuskan friend, if friend was the right word. He would hate to have to go to war with the Tuskan but then again they may go to war with him. He had ordered his men to always go about fully armored, not only for defense since this was a newly conquered world, but because he thought it would be right to honor the traditions of the natives, the real natives. Stepping off the ship he did his standard weapons check and felt his armor heat a little in the late afternoon suns. Turning to scan the dunes he could sense they were out their, watching, waiting. He almost hoped they would make their move but with his six soldiers on the ship he doubted they would risk it. But who knew, maybe they would try for him alone and hope he died before the ship could react. Either way this would be a good day as he intended to go into the city to gather the last few supplies that he wanted and to see what the next steps were for he and his men.

Monitoring the situation from the bridge of his gunship after dropping his tuskan comrade closer to the unoccupied desert Drogan chose to assist with the landing of troops around the larger cities. His gunship had come in outside of the normal defenses of the city and while he was not normally one for sneak attacks the opportunity was to good to pass up. Even as the anti aircraft defenses began assaulting the Black Sun ships and transports he brought his gunship in low near what he thought was the nearest ship hanger and began to lay waste to its anit aircraft defenses and hopefully with the light guns some damage to their space craft. As the defenses registered the new assault Drogan chose to use that moment to retreat back above the desert and fall in with the invading ground forces. It had been to long since he and his men had a good fight and he intended to the make the most of it. Landing proved strangely easy as his smaller ship was ignored for the most part. Not the natives brightest move but that was their decision. Setting his ships autodefense systems he lead his entire crew out into the city. His plan was failry simple. Find and destroy any command units, or really anyone orginizing a resistance. He had faith his elite squad could eliminate most enemies with ease and if not they could always pin them down till more troops arrived. Stepping into the heat and feeling it pulse in his armor he couldn't help but smile. Turning to his men he drew is heavy blade and a heavy blaster "Remember to die with honor, and should I die as well I will see you on the other side and we can sing of our glories together." With a rousing cheer he and his Thrysians entered the city, eliminating any soldier that resisted.
  14. Docking with the Marie proved to be easy and the meeting room was filled with a rather surprising number of agents from multiple orginizations. Looking around he allowed his presence alone to announce him as he chose to stand beside the Tuskan and wait to see if his contact decided to approach him. He was none to pleased with the number of people in the room and made sure that his blades and blasters were loose in their scabbards and ready for easy access. Strangely he was as comfortable having the Tuskan at his side as he would be to have his crew. While he had left them behind on the ship their orders were simple, should a fight break out and he be killed they were to destroy as much of the hanger as they could and leave. Leaning slightly against the wall he waited to see what would happen and who would be the first to approach him and introduce his to the odd collection of groups and explain just what he was being hired to do.
  15. So the Tuskan wanted a ride home, well it wasn't the normal trophy awarded for combat but why not. "I will honor your request and return you to your home. If you will tell us how to collect your mount I will have space in the cargo hold made for it and the appropriate provisions brought on board. Is there anything you will need for your journey?" As he waited for a reply he decided to risk asking the tuskan a somewhat strange question. "You have bested me in combat and shown honor and dignity beyond the bounds required of you. I would as that while we travel if you are willing you would teach me of your culture. I have always taken an interest in what I consider true warrior cultures and I believe I have found one worth learning about in yours." While allowing the translator to speak for him, though he wasn't sure it was necessary, Drogan issued orders to his men to prepare to depart and to send a message to their employer. Any and all questions on defense will be answered and the meeting in person would be delayed. If he was honest he was actually happier to be going to tattooine. His group had made a decent profit last time round and were in no immediate need of a job, and besides when was the last time they had gotten to go on a good hunt.
  16. As he began to claw his way out of the darkness, the first thing Drogan did was begin running what his grandfather had always jokingly called a systems check. Without indicating he was awake he began making sure that his limbs still felt intact via minor muscle contractions. As soon as he was satisfied that everything was alright he looked up. To his surprise there was the Tuskan just sitting there watching him. Nodding his head, which was rather painful at the moment he spoke slowly to allow the translator time to catch up. "I am sorry I tore your robes, that had not been my intent. When I grabbed them I had meant to grab your shoulder but missed due to the angle. I see you decided not to kill me for some reason, and I appreciate it. AT this moment the trial by combat is finished, you won. Your are welcome to one trophy in the room and your freedom."
  17. His instincts told him to fight back, this man was going to kill him, but then again he had commited a crime against him. Hopefully averting his eyes would show his respect, which was sadly his final thought as his temple took a mighty blow and he blackd out. As darkness spread across his vision his last thought was that at least the Tuskan would be free if he died, his men would honor the trial by combat even with his death.
  18. It was oddly sureall having the Tuskan smashing away at his face, like most Sun Guard he could ignore pain in almost all of its forms but for a few moments he pondered the situation. The Tuskan obviously wanted him dead, understandable given their view of outsiders and religion. Yet Drogan felt no ill will toward him and was still contemplating a non lethal method of combat. Oh well he thought, cant let him ruin my face to much. Reaching up he grabbed the Tuskan by the scuff of his robes, not bothering to try and block the punches he figured he could just hoist him over him an reverse their current positions. As he latched on and lifted though something unthinkable happened. He heard the fabric ripping even as he instiinctivley let go. He hoped he was fast enough. Dropping his hands to cover his eyes he averted his head, a gamble considering this left his temple and ear on the one side completely exposed. However he knew that if he looked on the Tuskans face in this manner, the mild blood lust he felt from him would become a blinding rage. Tuskans and their traditions were odd to him but then again he was considered odd in the universe as well. Hoping he had somehow prevented disaster he shouted out "You must fix your robe, I can't fight you if I can't look at you and that seems a little unfair." Hoping the translator worked quickly enough he waited to see if he would suddenly have to kill this man he had come to respect.
  19. Even as he fell his instinctual voice lashed out at him for being foolish enough to forget the robes the Tuskan wore. Landing flat on his back jared him slightly but gave him the opportunity to catch the Tuskans staff hook with his blade and force it from his hand. In doing so he discarded his own weapon and launched an elbow towards the Tuskans stomach. This fight was not going the way he thought it would but he couldn't help but be having fun. As he finished his series of moves he realized something. With them both on their back and his leg tangled the elbow would only land with minimal impact. This was going to get interesting.
  20. Quite a clever foe, accepting the non lethal blow and counter attacking. The stutter step garunteed the weapon strike would miss but he was surprised at the Tuskans speed at grabbing his arm. Listening to his instincts he twisted his arm in such a way that they were both suddenly gripping forearms as if they were friends, which was rather amusing if he had taken the time to think about it. Grappling was just another style of martial arts to him and he hoped that this fight could still end in a draw or some form of surrender. He was coming to respect this Tuskan and hated the thought of having to kill him. Twisting his shoulder down he pulled with the bulk of his strength not to pull the Tuskan to the ground but to give him enough room to drop into a crouch and engage the Tuskans staff with his blade while striking out at his shins with hs one leg. The hope was to trip him up and lunge upwards striking the Tuskan in the chest or face with his helmed head. Again though his instincs warned him the odds of this working was slim to none yet it was the best course of action he could think to use.
  21. The Tuskan was good, very good. His reactions were just as fast as Drogans and for a brief moment as the Tuskan dodged the blow he had the impression that someone had spoken just prior to his blow landing. In the same instance he heard the voice his instincts screamed for him to drop his shoulder as he completed his spin. It was a good call as the spike blad on the end of that staff had attempted to grab his shoulder plate. He wasn't sure if it would have pierced it or pulled it off but there was no reason to test the theory. Once again facing the Tuskan, and knowing full well he couldn't see his face, Drogan grinned and felt a thrill he had not felt in a long time. The thrill of getting to fight somone actually worth fighting. Taking two steps forward Drogan led with the point of his blade in what appeared to be a forceful thrust at the Tuskans right shoulder, a move normally used to quickly injure and disamr an opponent. At the last moment however he flashed the blade in front of the Tuskans face with no intention of hitting but as a distraction. As the blade made it sudden cross Drogan lashed out with the flat of his palm using an Echani strike method straight at the Tuskans chest. Even as he followed through with his plan his instincts warned him the Tuskan would realize the attack and that he should end the attack with a stutter step to the side.
  22. He had to admit the Tuskan was kind of confusing, he had expected a rather immediate attack if the Tuskan had no rituals but to each their own. Drogans normal battle sense didn't seem to be indicating that the Tuskan suddenly liked him, it still told him the man before him wanted him dead but apparently in an honorable way. Well if the Tuskan insisted on giving him the first move he would have to make the most of it. Dropping into an echani strike stance Drogan suddenly burst across the distance that seperated him from his foe. As he closed the gap he quickly drpped lower and spun to the side lashing out with the flat of his blad at the Tuskans knee as he spun past. The hope was to cause some harm but nothing lasting so he was hoping the robes would pad the blow a little. As he attemped to complete his spin if all went well he would end up standing facing the Tuskan behind him in a ready stance. While in real life or death battles he would not hesitate to strike from behind in a duel for honor he would be damned if he would strike in such a way.
  23. He had to admire the Tuskans bravery, given the strange environment he had thought he would want to take some time but that was his decision. Standing Drogan turned to the emblem of his band and the man trophies on the wall. Kneeling in front of the banner he placed the tip of his blade on the floor and recited the liteny of his band. "For those brothers that died free and in glorious battle, I devote this conflict to your memory and to the belief that you will guide my hand. Let us never again know the yoke of slavery forced on others by the Matriarchs of the Echani, or that of the old sith lords that took us to be their warrior servents. Till my last breath I will stand tall and never again bow." Standing and turning back to the tuskan he nodded and entered into a Thrysian sword ready stance. The full ritual would take to long and he didn't want to keep his friend here waiting. Even as the translator he forgot to turn off blurted out his "prayer" he prepared to teach this Tuskan that just because a person was not born on Tattooine doesn't make them weak.
  24. The stage had been set perfectly, all semblence of the mess hall had been removed and the requested trophies from past victories had been arrayed around the room, objects ranging from skulls of opponents and creatures to pennents made from their armor and clothing. Drogan sat on a short stool across from the door with his vibrosword resting across his lapp. Behind him hung the banner of his band in a deep crimson with gold insignia. The lights had been dimmed so as not to provide a glare and the time had come to meet his foe. Before the door was a small table with a strip of crimson cloth on it. Laid out for his opponents choosing was a variety of melee weapons, including the staff they had taken. The misture of vibroswords, axes and maces provide the opponent with ten choices. He was looking forward to seeing what would be chosen. His armor gleamed in the soft light with his helmet resting snuggly on his head he surveyed the room one more time. It was going to be a good day, he hoped to have fun and that the Tuskan would have some fun as well. As the door slid open Drogan remained in his seated position waiting for the Tuskan to enter and the door to close. Looking directly at his opponent he spoke slowly to allow the translator he had set up time to work. "Welcome, before you are an assortment of weapons that you may choose from to participate in the duel. This room as been set aside for this purpose and this purpose only until I tell my crew otherwise. After you have chosen your weapon I will perform the rituals of my people and then you may perform any rights that your people would perform. After that we will agree upon a signal to begin and start the duel. I know your kind hates my kind, my kind being anyone that is not Tuskan, but know that I am not your enemy and I have great respect for your people. I am not sure why my employer would like to talk to you but I am assuming it is because you are a warrior, a true warrior, of your race. Please take a moment to choose your weapon or if you prefer you may survey the room and get familiar with it so that you don't believe you have a terrain disadvantage. Once you have made your choice we can begin the rituals and proceed with our duel." Waiting for the translator to finish he again eyed the Tuskan up and down. He was worried for a moment that the tuskan would not understand and simply immediately attack as he did in the woods, it would be a great dishonor to slay a man in a ritual duel without following the tenents of the duel but if push came to shove he would do what he must.
  25. He couldn't help but smirk at the tuskans reference to him as a demon. He hadn't been called that in years, and even then it was only once when he let the blood rage take over. It was also slighly amusing that the Tuskan thought there was only one camera in the room. Thinking for a few moments he sent a message to his second and requested that they clear the tables and chairs out of the mess hall and to set up the banners and trophies on the wall as well as the traditional shrines. He thought it might be fun to actually duel the Tuskan. He had never fought one before and while he didn't want to kill him he was curious to see just how tought a Tuskan was. Flipping the coms back on in the Tuskans room "So you wish to battle me do you, I will admit it has been awhile since I had a good bout and it may be enjoyable. I will be sending two men to escort you to the combat zone. Upon arrivla we will observer all the traditions of my people as well as of your ancestors if there are any rights that need to be performed prior to a duel. Are there any objects or items you need to perform your rights for duels?" Waiting for a reply he hefted the tuskans staff that they had confiscated. He wasn't sure if it would be effective against his armor or not, or even stand up to his vibrosword but he would allow the tuskan the use of this traditional weapon, though as with all duels an assortmant of options would be provided. Now he just had to wait for the tuskans reply but first, "I will also advise against attacking the men I send to bring you to the duel, they will be fully armed and may actually take it upon themselves to shoot you and a bag of buttons and knobs will not work on their armor. " He had to give the tuskan credit for being brave, slightly foolish given the circumstances, but brave.
