"I'm all natural, if you will."

Luthis also took off his helmet, even though the his head would be hotter than it was with the helmet on. He showed Dark that he was a human, and that he had no add-on's, except for his suit. The suit which he acquired with the Space Pirates, and Ronin Wartide, one of the best men that he knew.

"My quick attention to detail, assertiveness, and the length that I have been in the business."

Luthis got up from his seat, he really hated the sitting, he always wanted to be on the move, and lately, it seemed like it was the same old sh1t, all the time.

"I also have pretty decent strength for a humanoid. Enough about me though, I like to keep myself secretive, in the shadows, and pounce when your not expecting it."

Luthis put his helmet back on, feeling the cold wind blow back into his face.

"I just want to kill something, perhaps later, we're supposed to get a mission pretty soon. Would you be up to it?"

A mission already. Although Darkholme had seen several contracts fulfilled before this, they had been small scale and he had received only a few credits for his work. Now he was working on a galactic scale, fulfilling contracts for employers who would pay by the tens of thousands for a single hit. This was the kind of work that Darkholme had only dreamed of. And working for Black Sun would provide him with the equipment and the means to bring him the name that would one day make the Empire regret turning him away for a simple genetic gift.

"I'm ready."

As the words left his mouth, Darkholme slid his finger over the controls for his mission profiler. Over the years, Darkholme had found the best way to complete a mission was to dissect the each segment and devise the most efficient way to nuetralize each objective.

"I need details, objectives, and target profiles."

Jacen walked through the door and saw Luthis and what appreared to be some sort of evolved human. Taking a seat next to Luthis Jacen put down the files he was carrying and spoke to Luthis quietly.

"So, Mr. Darkholme, why did you want to come into the service of Black Sun?"

As the new Black Sun associate came into the room, Darkholme jerked his eyes toward the mans, and his hand slid to the grip on his blasters. Although Black Sun was a reputable organization, the assassin had found that suprises during such a meeting were very rarely of a positive impact. Many times, upon the completion of a contract, employers had tried to double-cross the soldier-for-hire. And at the end of every encounter Darkholme had walked away with his money, often leaving the employer whimpering in a corner, sometimes holding a now severed body part.

Loosening his grip on his blaster, Darkholme swiveled his chair so he now faced the newcomer. His eyes narrowed as the man refered to him as Mr. Darkholme. In his past, noone had ever refered to him that way and survived. Mr. was a termed reserved for those who had last names. Long ago, Darkholme had shed his last name and become the entity known as Darkholme. His true name was long forgotten.

"Darkholme is not my last name. Nor am I of nobility. Thus you will refer to me as Darkholme. As for my interest in Black Sun. It is a organization which will allow me to further my career, and allow my name to strike fear into those with prices on their heads."

"Okay, Darkholme, whatever you wish to be called. Everything seems to be in order, so I welcome you to Black Sun. Now, there are a few things that we need to discuss. First off, Piccolo will be returning soon, or so I'm told, so you will be able to meet him. Second, we are about to embark on a mission as a whole of Black Sun. You'll be briefed by someone soon enough. In the mean time, I suggest you get some training done, or maybe catch up on some sleep. You'll be free to roam the base, after I have given you a tour."

Standing, Jacen walked to the door, and motioned for Darkholme to follow him.

((Okay, just a note for Piccolo and others, the reason this is so short is because Luthis interviewed him in the Last Call.))

Rising to his feet, Darkholme makes his way over to the door. As he reached the doorway, he realized it would be a good idea to map the home he was about to tour. After all, it may come in handy if the base was ever invaded. Sliding his helmet over his head, Darkholme activated the maping system equiped within his armor. A gird appeared to the right side of his helmet marking his current position and awaiting movement through the hallways and rooms.

"After you, Silas."

Luthis took one last sip of his water, and stood up from his seat. He glided over to the door, and looked over both of his comrades.

"If you don't mind Jacen, I'll take Darkholme for a tour."

Luthis moved out in front of him, giving Jacen a small nod. Dark and himself moved out and away from the conference room, and into a small arena. Even though Dark wanted a tour, he decided that he wanted to test him, to see his limitations, and his abilities.

Moving his hands to his sides, Luthis readied himself to attack Dark, but he wanted him to make the first move.

"Before we go any further, I want to see what you got."

((Hey, he's a new recruite, please don't hurt him...))

Nodding, Jacen made his way back to the command center. He once again sat down in his chair, pulled a bottle of water closer to him, and leaned back, watching all the monitors flicker.

The moment they entered the arena, Daarkholme knew this was not going to be just a inspection of the room. Luthis meant to fight him as a test. Ancient tribes, such as the Mandalorians, used to do the same before sending their new wariors into battle. They were tested in tiers of combat, each time being ordered to fight in a different fashion. Sometimes with blades, sometimes with blasters, and sometimes with their bare hands. But Darkholme had been giving no instructions on what he could use to fight with, so he intended to use everything at his disposal.

Beneath his helmet, a stream of data began to flow across the left side of his visor, showingn his the statistics of his vital signs. During the course of the battle, it would change and he would need to know anything that was internally going to damage him. He figured this fight would not do much damage to him as it was only a test, but he wanted to be sure. Mercenaries and Bounty Hunters were never known for their honesty. Releasing the safety catch on his holsters, Darkholme focuses on Luthis and in a split second acts.

Sliding his pistols from their holsters, Darkholme lets off three random shots from his blasters, not particularly aiming, just attempting to get Luthis to move from a comfortable position. Using the repulsor generators in his boots, Darkholme leaps 20 feet into the air. As he reached the apex of his jump, he lets loose two more bolts of energy from each blaster, this time aimed towards his opponents chest.

There was no sound, at least not any that Luthis could hear. He was in complete peace with himself, and his environment, numbing his senses, focusing hard at the task at hand. He took the first bolt hard, and it knocked him to the floor, that was his only defense as the second bolt fell in right behind him narrowly missing his thigh. He saw Dark land on his feet, his knees slowly bending as to comfort his descent.

That's when it happened, he set his visors settings to block out all the light, as he fingered for the flash bang, he threw it up and looked away, giving little hint of what was to come.

The sound echoed throughout the room, the system inside his helmet went haywire, knocking down the filter so that all the light in the room was visible. He got up, slowly at first, and then began to regain his bearings. He took a step forward, and then another until he gained more momentum, he knocked into his blind victim at full speed, bringing his hands around his neck, choking him.

Luthis thrust his body against the wall, making sure Dark's feet would not touch the ground. He could hear him breathing hard, his hands trying to push away from Vandren's vice grip. All of his attacks were no use. Letting go of his the grip, Luthis watched Dark's body fall to the floor. He backed up; he didn't want the same incident to happen as it did back in Dubrillion. Pulling back up his two E-11's, he shoot nearly 4 bolts, all pointed to the slouched body of Darkholme, this time, he wasn't playing around.

Mindan awoke from a deep slumber feeling slightly groggy. Making his way to the fresher he allowed the scalding hto water to wake him up and remove the sleep from his mind.

Drying and dressing himself, he made his way to the main command room and asked for an update on the status of Black Sun.

The bolts of energy seemed to move in slow motion toward Darkholme. Through his helmet he knew if the bolts impacted their intended destination, he would never get to see battle again. They were on a straight collision course for the dead center of his armor. Placing his feet flat against the floor and pushing up against the wall, Darkholme felt his body sliding up the wall. As he reached a height well above the bolts, he pushed forward toward Luthis.

After watching the bolts race toward him, Darkholme realized he was in a real fight. This was no mere test. This was a test in which death was an actual outcome. And death was not an option that Darkhole wished for yet. There may come a time when death may seem good, but that time had not yet come. Death would only be welcome when the hunter realized he was no longer able to combat effectively.

As he fell through the air, Darkhole reached to his side and withdrew his sword. It had been awhile since he had drawn his old friend and with a large scale mission coming up, he felt it was a good time to get reacquainted with his blade.

The small ship came out of hyperspace. The planet shouldn't have been able to been found by Kal of all people, but considering they wanted him dead he made sure to keep tabs on them with help of a little hacking of course. The ship was hailed instanty demanding his ID code. Kal didn't send one. Instead he sent a COM saying that his ship was damaged and needed to land or else crash. It was no lie, the small crash bucket barley made the flight from Courrsnat to Naboo. Making it ot Artus was a feet upon a miracle itself. For that miracle his egnine was fried and he would die in about two hours. Lucky for him a pack of escorts came to take him in where they siad they would consider fixing his ship for a price which Kal promised to pay.

After he was hauled into the hangar. He was asked to slowly exit the ship. His three droids came first. The security gaurds were perplexed by this, but stood ready for whoever would come out. Kal his hood over his head exited his small ship and walked down the ramp. He was asked to remove his hood.

"Look, your not going to like this. You might want to get yourself your suppieor officer. This will be a mess anyways."

The guard was perplexed by this notion. Kal raised his hands slowly to his hood. The cloth hood in his hand was pushed back showing who he was. The gaurd was in shock, while on the other hand the rest of security had switched off their safteies and were taking aim. Kal quickly knocked the blaster rifle out of the stunned guards hand with a kick and grabbed the gaurd by the neck with fore arms applied now to the neck.

"Look as I said this mess was going to be one heck of a mess at that. So why don't we do this like men and you go get me a Vigo or some one whos in charge here."

((Oh Jesus, so now were back to you threatening guards, perfect way to start your new career off, especially since you're a wanted man...))

Jacen sat erect, he punched in a few keys and froze the vid cam screen. Kal had returned, looking different than he had since the last time Jacne had seen him, but definatley the same person. One of the guards was being held, and the others were aiming. Turning on the speakers in the hangar, Jacen adressed them.

--Comm to Hangar--

Hold fire, repeat, hold fire. This is Vigo Jacen Onnd.Keep your weapons trained on him, but do not fire unless he makes a direct move against you. I will be there shortly.

--End Comm--

Standing up, Jacen rushed past the newly returned Mindan and headed towards the hangar without even acknowldeging. He sprinted down a series of hallways, turning left and right before he finally made his way into the hangar. There stood Kal, holding one of the guards, and middle ages man with a scar above his right eye. Jacen stopped and stared. The last time he had seen Kal had been the the Coruscant Citadel', but he hadn't even gotten the chance to talk to him. The time before that had been when he had defected to the Link, saving Jacen's life in the process. Jacen had never forgotten the feeling of betrayl that had followed him, and it didn't make this any easier.

Drawing his blaster from its place on his right hip, Jacen turned off the safety, turned, and trained it on Kal's form. The sight had been filed off, leaving Jacen's trustworthy hands to do the job.

"Kal, you give me one reason I shouldn't shoot you right here and end this. If you can convince me, we'll sit down and have a little chat, eh?"

((Come on, I have to have a litle fun.))

Kal looked at Jacen and shot a smile.

"Hey buddy whats up. I can't really give a reason here other than I was provoked first. I acted in self defense. To show that I am here peacefully and harboring no ill will let me show a sign of good faith."

Kal let the applied force disapper from the guards neck. The guard feel down and rolled away. He then pulled his weapon and aimed at Kal.

"That was my sign of good faith. Now I will make another sign of good faith. You can check me, my droids, even my crash bucket over here. I will give you all of my weapons and articles, but lets go to a place where we can talk with out these weapons in my face and where I can sit down at least. Come on what do you Jacen, consider this small request payment for the trade we made back at the Link."

Kal slowly raised his arms to his sides to show that he would go though whatever it was he wanted.

The word "buddy" echoed through Jacen's mind. The man who had betrayed all Jacen had believed in for the better part of the last year, and betrayed Jacen's trust, was now calling him "buddy". Jacen chuckled to himself, smiled, and laughed.

"You think that after all the trouble you've caused, you can just waltz back in here and expect to be treated fairly. You think a few small guestures of good faith are going to make me think that you have come back to Black Sun. We've suffered a lot because of you, and it won't be forgotten, but just as a sign of "good faith" on my part, and because of what we once did, I'll let you live."

Jacen motioned to the guards.

"Take all his weapons and give them to me. I want everything he brought with him to be scanned for anything that might be potentially dangerous."

Turning back to Kal, Jacen smiled again, a little more friendly like this time.

"C'mon, we're going to sort this all out, but we're going to do it in a conference room, Mindan might be joining us later, I'm sure you remember him."

Jacen took the weapons the guards had taken off of Kal, then pulled out his comlink and punched in Mindan's signal.

-Comm to Mindan--

"Hey, its Jacen. Kal, who I'm sure you remember, has come back and is wanting to talk. If you want to talk with him, we'll be in conference room 2B, but I am going to ask for a few minutes of time with him alone.

--end comm--

Motioning to Kal, Jacen waited for the man to head for the room.

Kal had every weapon pulled off him. They even took his wrist PC. As the guards were about to hand over his items he mettion to them to take his coat. Ever button on his coat was some form of a grenade after all. Kal then took from Jacen's movements and began walking. He was told to stop after a distince though and entered what was called room 2B. It was a confernce room, sure enough. The table, a few chairs, no windows, no mirriors, and one camera. In other words this was as much an interogation room as it was a confernce room Kal took a seat which he was told to take at the back of the room. Once seated both men looked at each other. Kal spoke first.

"Before we begin I will tell you everything that you took and some of the special modifcations I had made your men don't blow themselfs up. The two belts you removed were a total of twenty-four bullets for the pair of .22 revolvers. They are slug throwers nothing more. In total you should have removed a total of four blasters with the three standard setting of hold, stun, and kill. Four vibro blades that were stuck in my gauntles and boots. A wrist PC with no tricks. Of course my virtal glasses. On the coat be careful. On the six buttons that close the coat are two emp grendeas, smoke grendeas, and two stand frag grenades. They can be activated by pressing in the front and the back after activating the electionic trigger. The trigger is right two sleve buttons or the left two sleve buttons."

Kal stopped and said nothing as he caught his breath.

"The ship is nothing out of the oridanry, its border line trash. My droids on the other hand are excatly the same as the ones that were brought with me when the citadel was still up and running. Look Jacen, I know you know all of my weapons, droids, and now tricks. I was tailed and I pretty much guessed after I pulled what I pulled you wanted to know everything about me so you could kill me yourself. I know that didn't happend because I'm still here. Well for the moment at least. You have questions, and your entitled to them. Let me throw three things out there before we get to them though."

Kal stopped and stretched for a second.

"First off. Even though I left you to be thrown out of the Link, I made the deal because there was no other way out and I didn't want to see you die. Secondly, when I was helping in the line hack of the citadel I was trying to sabatoge it and make sure Ka-rith didn't get anything what so ever. Finally I attempted to blow up the citadel after I learned Smashed had returned. The main reason I did so though was because I have no problem with Piccolo. Smash however and all of the people like him are responable for the death of my parents. What I attempted to do was all in effort to make sure he didn't come back. With him gone though I figured now more than any was a good time to come back."

Kal stopped and observed Jacen's movements and tried to focus on anythign that was out of place.

"Now I know I have done my fair share of damage some how. I also know my good faith in not killing the gaurd, giving him all of my weapons, and even telling him to take my coat don't mean much. Hell these dragons on my arms aren't helping either since the last time you saw them you were drinking that poisined acohol and it we left on really hard terms. Anyways what do want to know and want do you want personally?"

Mindan recieved the comm message and raised an eyebrow thoughtfully.

"Returned at last has he. It will be most interesting to see what he has to say fro himself."

Turning and moving towards the interrogation room, Mindan stationed himself in the observation room and looked in through the one way glass knowing that he could not be seen or heard. It would be interesting to see the "reunion" between the two men.

((Reunion my ass, I have half a mind to kill him right now, but as a guesture of "good faith" I'm going to actually see what he has to say.))

JAcen listened to the man with an open mind. Some of the things the man said made Jacen wonder if he truly did want to come back to Black Sun, but with Kal you could never be sure. He rattled on and on about the special modifications made to the various things he had brought along, but non of that mattered to Jacen, what mattered was what he had to say for himself.

"Okay, Kal, first off, I agree that getting me thrown out of the link was probably the only way I was going to get out, cause that nerf's ass Nargal wouldn't every tell me what she wanted. The thing with the line hack I remember well, and you did make it unsucsessful, so that I may believe, the third thing I heartily agree with you, Smash should never have returned, but he did, and trying to blow up the citadel' just to kill him, but taking countless lives with him is not the answer. Now, as for my questions, lets start with why you came back to Black Sun? There were a million better jobs to take in the galaxy, so why Black Sun?"

"Want to know why I came back uh. I guess thats a good place to start. I have a few, but one of the reasons I came back was simple. Before the whole thing with the Link and Smash its common knowledge you want to be know in the galaxy you have to do it at the Sun. No other place helps get you where you want to go. Thats one reason, but as I said their are more. Another is simple. I feel like I need to make up for what I did. Piccolo took me in and let me join with out having to do to much. He put a lot of trust in me and I betrayed it. So I am hoping that I can redeem myself. I have a few more, but whats the point. I know you have people watching me and lord knows theres a line of people who want my head on a silver platter. I know however there is somthing else you have to say. So how about you come out with it and just say what your gonna say so when Midan comes in we can this thing moving."

Jacen listened to the man that Jacen had thought he knew with much interest. The things he said had made since.

"Well, I agree that if you want to be known, the Sun is the place to be, but redeeming yourself in Piccolo's eyes, and in the eyes of the Sun will be difficult. Just on my own opinion, I want you placed under the guard of one of our agents, Duo I believe will do nicely, and when Mindan comes in, we'll see what he thinks about it. And at one point in time, I was one of those people who wanted to see your head on a silver platter, but enough with the small talk, that can be done once this interogation/discussion is done, and in a little more private area."

Motioning to the mirror, Jacen silently asked Mindan to join them.

Mindan made his way into the interogation room without removing his glasses, withoug uttering a single sound. He fixed Kal a look and stared at him as he assumed a relaxed yetr alert at ease stance. He had heard Kals explanation, and it did make sense, in a way. But he wondered just how "native" Kal had gone during his time at the Link.

Looking to Jacen, Mindan waited for an explanation.

Luthis threw up his swords in defense, quickly halting the attack.

"Seems like we have something else more important happening, lets go check it out."

Pushing up with all his weight and strength, he watched as Dark flew backwards. Humans still did have some strength in this world.

Walking where there seemed to be a bunch of people gathered, he listened.

Kal was about to ask who this Duo guy was, but the other Vigo entered the room. Things now really became uneasy. Kal did not know how these events were going to play out and to make matters worst he had willing given out all of his weapons. He had just remebered one item though.

"Oh yeah, my stun jacks. In case the gaurds are wondering what the two handle like objectis are, they are my stun jacks. Just thought you would like to know Jacen. Also hi Mindan, long time no see."

As Jacen was about to respond, his comm beeped.

--Comm from Command Center--

Sir, this is General Ykaim in the command center. We have a new recruite in the front office. He wishes to join Black Sun. Shall we have him wait?

--End Comm--

Jacen looked over at Mindan, then confered with him, all the while keeping Kal waiting. This matter was important, Kal could wait for a couple of minutes. After confering, Jacen sent another comm back to the command center.

--Comm to the Command Center--

General, find Agent Duo and have him interview this new recruite. Have him stay with this recruite until we are done here. Then all five of us((Kal, Mikey, Mindan, Duo, Myself)) will meet and discuss things deeper. Thank you General.

Oh yes, and General, on the list of Kal's weapons, keep on the lookout for stun jackets.

--End comm--

Turning to Mindan, Jacen spoke.

"Mindan, do you have anything that needs to be added before we finish this interview/interogation up?"

Sweat poured down the agents chiseled physique as he went through his daily training regiment. He had had no live action lately so he spent his days honing his already defined skills. Each day what he did shifted, one day he would work on lifting weights in the morning and with his slug throwers in the after noon, the next day he would work on cardio vascular exercises and his skills with various other weaponry, including a whip. Something useful for not only disarming another, but tripping them up if they tried to turn tail and run like a pansy.

He stood up from the bench he had been doing curls on and grabbed something to drink while listening to the newest message that had been left on his comm. They had chosen him to interview someone new. That was rather odd, they had never done that before, but there was a first time for everything. He grabbed a towel and wiped away the sweat. Tossing the drenched towel to the side he grabbed his belt and strapped it on, letting his weapons rest lightly at his side prepared for use anytime he wished.

__

He approached the man in the officer area of the compound and looked him over. There was nothing special about him, mundane and unimpressive in every sense of the words. Duo smirked a bit, his braid of hair bouncing on his back a little before settling down again.

”œYou here for a job, or what?”

Mindan ignored Kal's comradely greeting. You went double agent on my orders Kal. The plan was you scope out for intelligence and then get out. But you went native. Why? Why has it taken so long for you to return?

Mindan focused on Kal, sitting in the chair looking up nervously and waited for a reply. His sense were on full alert and he was looking for any sign of a lie. He felt confident that Kal still had a weapon on him and was waiting for him to show it. There would be a sign somewhere to where it was, however Mindan was not at all concerned. He had taken to wearing a body forming armour under his clothing. Besides his jacket would stop anything but a lightsaber.

"I did bring back intel. Its beyond out dated now, but when I first retunred I came bringing intle. Me going native, I told Silas why. You were watching, and you think I'm liying. Well I wasn't. That bastard known as Smash and others like him are the reason why my parents were killed. I do what I do, because I don't know anything else. On a side note, want to know why I took so long to come back. I promised no harm if I cam clean and left. I did and what happend? I was tailed. You stuck the big purple guy on me who more than wanted to rip me to shreads."

Midan didn't flinch and studied every detail of Kal. He was looking for weapon. This infuriated Kal.

"You want a weapon?" Kal stared at where Mindans eyes would be if not for his glasses.

"I DON'T HAVE ANY!"

"I have no need to do what I did before. I gave everything I had in. The only weapons I have left is my mind and my first. Its that first and most imporant weapon that told me to stay away. If I tried to come back any sooner, this talk wouldnt even be happending. Also, I'm not sure if you noticed the empire is moving everything so they can make things easier for them. Moving planest however requiers a brain washed people obviously, and that pissed me off. I wanted to free my world of Naboo and couldn't do it. Theres no way some one can be honest and rightegous any more. So why fight it, I know what I can do and this place gives me the abblieties to let me do so. Anything else you want to know jack ass, because I'm here and I will do what ever the hell you want. So out with it."
