  1. Luthis Vandren

    Kuat

It was a fast journey, nothing to say the least. Luthis looked at the sky, wondering at first at the magnificent beauty that his eyes beheld. The day was young, but yet the malicious look of the sun made the surroundings look old; run down, much like the body of a Black Sun agent over time. Vandren was beginning to feel the side effects of the constant fighting, obviously the daily adrenaline shots weren't working; damn droids. As time had slowly passed, Luthis began to rely more so on his body, rather than his suit, he, well actually the only reason he relied on his body was because his suit had fallen apart. He remembered the first day he placed it on his body, the Space Pirates, Ronin Wartide. It was a remarkable day for them, even though they were obliterated and completely and almost figuratively raped up the ass. It didn't matter, he, and his old pal Moon Knight had made it out of there alive, as they did a few times, and that was all that mattered. Moving from the bow of his ship, he slowly exited from the descending ramp, snapping back from his reminiscence to the fact that Black Sun was back again, and they needed as many people as they could get. Moving from left to right, he couldn't really place his footing; the ale that he had left over on his ship really did go to good use. Stutter stepping, and moving in a slow, but methodical pace he closed in on Piccolo, an old, but lifelong friend. "Peace be with you?" Luthis smiled, it was about time to get back to kicking ass. "So what is it, one Hutt or two?"
  2. Luthis threw up his swords in defense, quickly halting the attack. "Seems like we have something else more important happening, lets go check it out." Pushing up with all his weight and strength, he watched as Dark flew backwards. Humans still did have some strength in this world. Walking where there seemed to be a bunch of people gathered, he listened. ((Sorry post sucks, not a lot of time!))
  3. There was no sound, at least not any that Luthis could hear. He was in complete peace with himself, and his environment, numbing his senses, focusing hard at the task at hand. He took the first bolt hard, and it knocked him to the floor, that was his only defense as the second bolt fell in right behind him narrowly missing his thigh. He saw Dark land on his feet, his knees slowly bending as to comfort his descent. That's when it happened, he set his visors settings to block out all the light, as he fingered for the flash bang, he threw it up and looked away, giving little hint of what was to come. The sound echoed throughout the room, the system inside his helmet went haywire, knocking down the filter so that all the light in the room was visible. He got up, slowly at first, and then began to regain his bearings. He took a step forward, and then another until he gained more momentum, he knocked into his blind victim at full speed, bringing his hands around his neck, choking him. Luthis thrust his body against the wall, making sure Dark's feet would not touch the ground. He could hear him breathing hard, his hands trying to push away from Vandren's vice grip. All of his attacks were no use. Letting go of his the grip, Luthis watched Dark's body fall to the floor. He backed up; he didn't want the same incident to happen as it did back in Dubrillion. Pulling back up his two E-11's, he shoot nearly 4 bolts, all pointed to the slouched body of Darkholme, this time, he wasn't playing around.
  4. Luthis took one last sip of his water, and stood up from his seat. He glided over to the door, and looked over both of his comrades. "If you don't mind Jacen, I'll take Darkholme for a tour." Luthis moved out in front of him, giving Jacen a small nod. Dark and himself moved out and away from the conference room, and into a small arena. Even though Dark wanted a tour, he decided that he wanted to test him, to see his limitations, and his abilities. Moving his hands to his sides, Luthis readied himself to attack Dark, but he wanted him to make the first move. "Before we go any further, I want to see what you got."
  5. "I'm all natural, if you will." Luthis also took off his helmet, even though the his head would be hotter than it was with the helmet on. He showed Dark that he was a human, and that he had no add-on's, except for his suit. The suit which he acquired with the Space Pirates, and Ronin Wartide, one of the best men that he knew. "My quick attention to detail, assertiveness, and the length that I have been in the business." Luthis got up from his seat, he really hated the sitting, he always wanted to be on the move, and lately, it seemed like it was the same old sh1t, all the time. "I also have pretty decent strength for a humanoid. Enough about me though, I like to keep myself secretive, in the shadows, and pounce when your not expecting it." Luthis put his helmet back on, feeling the cold wind blow back into his face. "I just want to kill something, perhaps later, we're supposed to get a mission pretty soon. Would you be up to it?"
  6. "I see, you have no worries here, we are all... different in one way or another." He got up from his seat and went over to the small desk which contained a pitcher of water, grabbing two glasses he poured water into his glass and that of his new friend, Darkholme. "It seems that us two do have something in common, our parents have betrayed our goals and... talents." Luthis handed Dark the glass and sat back down, taking a nice long swig of his water. "Too bad this is the dry area of the compound, or we could get some girls in here."
  7. Comm. to Jacen -No worries friend, I have found a new recruit that wishes to become one of us. I'm bringing him in now to meet you.- End Luthis turned back to Darkholme, and spoke. "Seems like your already notorious with being seen with me in your first 5 minutes here. If it's okay, come with me inside the building to meet some of the other bounty hunters." Luthis moved into the compound, and pass the assho1e guard that stopped him earlier. Looking back to Darkholme to speed the hell up, he moved into the conference room where he had first met Jacen. Pulling out a seat for himself, he motioned for Dark to take the other seat beside him, before Jacen entered, he wanted to get to know him a bit better. "So, tell me about yourself, and what made you seek out the Black Sun."
  8. Luthis set down his ship, and took a moment to soak up the landscape. This was the first time he really took a look around to welcome the new environment. It was quite odd knowing that the Black Sun had changed bases, it made them seem weak and powerless, but Luthis knew the exact opposite. Pushing up on his armrests he walked slowly outside, looking for the ship of the new recruit that he had just achieved.
  9. "No, that is all, thank you for your time Jacen." Pushing back from the table, Luthis stood up and cracked his neck. Feeling satisfied, he moved out of the room, and out of the building. His intentions were to go to Last Call, he had another recruit waiting for him there. He would be back soon. Getting in his ship, Luthis lifted off to his previous destination.
  10. "Please, enough with the formalities. Just call me Luthis, or Vandren, or, well, Luthis Vandren." He then thought over what the man had said to him, Pic had died. Pic was the strongest person that Vandren ever knew, and to see that they finally had some hard competition was reminding him about his previous stomach pain. "I just have two for you Jacen. The first, being pretty obvious. Do we have any current alliances with any other faction?" The last time he left, the Black Sun had seemed to make enemies with every known person in the galaxy. "The second, who killed our great friend, Piccolo?"
  11. "Just as it was getting good." Luthis put down the magazine and stood up, adjusting his armor. He was actually surprised at the quick work that the guard had done, and to repay him, Luthis extended his middle finger. There, maybe next time he wouldn't tell the famous Luthis Vandren to sit down. A$shole. Moving through the strange, yet familiar layout of the base here at Artus, he finally stumbled on the conference room. Moving into the room, he nodded to the man that was sitting at the opposite end of Luthis. Moving closer to his position, Luthis pulled out a chair and took a seat. "Monsieur. Tell me, how has the Black Sun been...?" A small grin was appeared behind Vandren's helmet, he already like this guy.
  12. ((I'm going to assume the Commanding Officer gave me the coordinates, just to get me to the planet. )) The descent was quick, and to the point. Landing on a full metal pad, he quickly placed on his helmet, which he had taken off during the flight to Artus. Stashing two E-11's on his left and right side, he moved out of the ship and into the brief mining region of the planet. Finally catching eye of a large structure that seemed to be close to the same specs as Dubrillion, he moved in. Cameras lined the walls, and ceiling of the interior. There was also a guard that was seated at the desk right as Luthis walked inside the opening doors. He walked quickly to the guard and asked him for directions to the man in charge, the guard pointed to a seat that was situated near a wall. In no hurry, and not really feeling in the mood to be the Badass Luthis that everyone knew he was, he took a seat not saying another word. He would need to talk to the head of the facility, and also Piccolo, to see what their current plan was. Opening a nice erotic magazine, Luthis sat and waited.
  13. Luthis was sick, yet ready to begin working again. He had most likely drank twenty pounds of ale within the span of two days, and yet, his mind was fully aware of everything around him. These past days had been very uneventful for the Bounty Hunter. He remembered back in his starting days where every single day was a new adventure, a new challenge. Though this proved false throughout these past days, and weeks. Moving through the atmosphere of Artus, he commed the surface, trying to get a signal of where to land, as this planet was completely new to him. Hovering around ten thousand feet above the surface, he waited for a response.
  14. A small ship blasted out of hyperspace above the planet of Gromas. The red tint that the planet emitted was blinding, it was as though the planet was a giant sun, perhaps. The gauges on his ship alerted him of overheating, but thankfully, Luthis spotted a small shaded area where he set the ship down. Cracking his neck, he walked steadily down the ramp, looking out into the red abyss. Smiling behind his helmet, he went back to the ship. He placed the dual E-11's onto his belt, just incase he met any... interference. Pressing in a 4-digit code, another compartment lowered, and a Sniper Rifle lay there, disassembled. Sitting at his work bench, Luthis placed it together in a few quick minutes. Pulling his speeder off the roof of his ship, he warmed it up, and jumped on it. Moving out of the ship, he rocketed forward in search of the infamous phrikite ore. -------- Luthis's luck turned out to be stale. Scanning what seemed to be the whole planet turned out to be empty. The desert seemed to have the same landscape for thousands of miles, but there was always something that pushed him to go further, there was something that was waiting for him. Using his Thermal Vision that was installed into his suit's interface, he scanned the surrounding area. There were a few shaded spots that showed up a much lighter red, but there was something that drew him farther out into the desert, a shine that met his visor, something was here. Jumping off the bike, Luthis scanned the rock that was present in the area. His suit performed a few inquiries that were sent to his ship's core computer and came back with a positive remark. This was just what the Dr. ordered. Gathering a few rocks from the garden of phrikite, he placed them into a bag that was drooped over his bike's back. Luthis also took a few for himself, he would need to amend this armor, it wasn't up to present... specifications. Nodding as he grabbed the rest of the ore that lay in this particular spot, he jumped off the speeder and walked back into his ship. Luthis was beginning to tire, but he wanted to get this job finished before the day would grow old. He placed the Dr.'s ore into a hard metallic box that was neatly placed in the back of his ship. He placed the ore that he gathered for himself into a bag at the front of his ship. There was something about the planet that really turned Luthis off. It was a presence, but one that he could feel, not one that he could see. The planet seemed to be deserted by the look of it high in the atmosphere, but the feeling Luthis was getting deep inside his gut said otherwise. "Always follow your gut." Those were the wise words that his father used to tell him. His father had, had a very big impact on his life, he showed him the ropes to his bounty hunting, his bounty hunting is what got him killed. He was too nosy one day, and a shot landed in his forehead. Luthis had learned not to be nosy, and this was a good instance to avoid. Prepping his ship, he took back into the infinite realms of space.
  15. Clearing the calm, cool atmosphere of Coruscant, Luthis initiated auto-pilot. Moving to the back of his ship, he started to undress, placing on more appropriate wears, mainly his "Space Suit." There was actually a great history behind this life saver. The suit was given to him by another famous bounty hunter who was the proud owner of a faction known only as The Space Pirates. Ronin, to him was a brother at the time, they actually first met with each other back at the Last Call, and bombed the Hutt Palace. That's when they got Vandren's old friend, Moon Knight, out of the Hutt's control. What a past Luthis did have, it was actually hard to ever recall a dull moment in his life, hopefully, this trip would continue the usual adrenline rush that he usually got during all of his missions. Finally, setting the past behind him, he strapped the final piece on of his equipment, and moved back up to the pit. A planet in the far distance started to get bigger and bigger, the planet, known only as Gromas.
  16. "Jaster. You would be perfect, too perfect. If the Jedi caught you, they would know you would be up to something, your too good Pic. And besides, we will need you at the base. Luthis smiled, this would work out nicely, if it worked out. "Now, it would be very easy to be captured, but for his release, this would be the challenging part. Perhaps for getting him out, we would try to form some kind of alliance, this, would then kick into my plan. We would trade... Jaster for the location of the Sith Planet. This, would then let the Jedi attack on free will, and the Sith would not know that their rivals were ready to attack at anytime. Creating a huge rumble throughout the galaxy. Then, the Black Sun would be on top again." Luthis stirred in his seat. "Let's bring Jaster in here, see what he says." Luthis needed to get the spacecorn, this was getting good.
  17. Luthis took the seat, clearing out his thoughts, and then he began to spill. "With no allies, I still believe we are... well, screwed. I mean, even if we do get past the Jedi Temple, and the Casino, they will know who did it, and they will be breathing down our backs. I think we need to lead them elsewhere. Say... to the Sith." Now Luthis was talking, if they could frame the Sith on 2 seperate attacks, the Jedi would want to attack them, or flee. Either way, the Black Sun would come out on top. "If we did this, the Jedi would follow the Sith, and thereby start attacking. This, could hold to an advantage, we could let the Jedi attack them alone, or we could join them. I believe they could use all the help they can get." If this worked, this would blow a lot of things wacko for the Sith, and anyone involved. "Oh, and don't worry about the weapons, we have those under contol. Trust me."
  18. Luthis moved quickly out of the Armory and into the office of Piccolo. "If we are going to execute this plan, we need weapons, but, those are easy to obtain. I think we need allies... more than one." Luthis put his hand on to the back of one of the chairs. "I feel that the Sith aren't going to be as eager to help us as they were in their older days, they seem more... distant, more single-minded then ever. It would be wise to... decieve, if you are getting where I am going." Luthis nodded, he knew Piccolo would want more info, and in due time Piccolo would have it, but for now, Luthis needed to think more of how to go through with this. Luthis wanted to speak alone, with no one listening.
  19. Luthis nodded, and spoke. "I'll be in shortly, I'm going to do research on our weapons. So, you know where I'll be." Luthis walked off to the armory, many computers were inside, and it was time to get to work.
  20. ((Thanks Jastah )) Luthis ran into the room, hearing what Pic had recently said about Coruscant. He wanted to add some insight, and give the all around go ahead for the next operation. "Right now, I believe we are as strong as were going to get, I would advise to make sure we have a solid start up plan and back up, the Jedi are mysterious, and we never know what's going to happen." Luthis started to walk slowly around the office. "We also know Coruscant, we stayed there for a long while, we should be good. We just need the weapons." He nodded and took a seat.
  21. Luthis walked quickly, ignoring all slaves who stood in front of him. Time for a meeting, but, as things would be, the doors were locked, and Luthis was locked out... He would find other things to do to pass time.
  22. Luthis was taken a little aback at the huge rumble from the ground of Jaster's landing. He sighed, and started to speak. "Well, if you count all my men that I lost, 7 there... and a good 10 wookiee's. The men where whiners any way, no need for them to live." He looked out over the burned villiage. "And you, how did you do?"
  23. Luthis got up from his position, he had just got finished patching up jet pack, and, at that very second, he rocketed in the air, comming Jaster. "I'm here, let's head to the center. See you there." Luthis flew fast, landing, and a loud thud echoed throughout the deserted villiage. "Good job men." Luthis nodded to the operatives that surrounded him.
  24. Luthis moved quickly, as did the other operatives behind him. He pulled the gun in front of him, getting ready to wreck havoc to the village. But, he needed to set out lookouts, he didn't want to get surrounded again. "Alright men, I want you to go into the middle, and hit the comm button if anything happens." Luthis pointed to the one in front of him. "I want you to stick with me, and cover my back, were going to be doing this quite quickly, I don't think we have much time." Nodding again, Luthis turned on the gun, flame poured out. As nearly five minutes went by, it was taking to long, he looked at the canister on the flame-thrower, it was pretty full. So, as any normal pyro would do, he threw it into the village, as it neared the ground, Luthis used his scope, and shot his pistol, igniting the fluid as it exploded into a huge ball of flame, igniting anything and everything in his view. The operative came running, fire running up his sleeve. "You assho..." "Now now, we don't say things about our superiors, do we Joe?" Luthis smirked, his gun in the operative Joe's mouth. "I think it's time to go back, sattle up boys." Luthis moved quickly, he saw a pack of wookiee's running for the burning villiage, black smoke raised upwards. He hurried, but he still saw a large crowd hovering around Jaster and his men, he would need to distract them to meet up with them. Two wookiee's caught sight of Luthis, but Luthis didn't with them. As they snuck quietly behind them, Luthis heard a ruffle in the leaves, it was too late, they had took the other operatives, guns pointed at their heads. "Fooka, fooka, foo!" Luthis thought he said, "Stand down, or these men dead." "Great language you fat lard, now, let these men go, or you will be like the rest of your family." Luthis pointed to the west, as they looked quickly, but it was an easy move. He quickly pulled both of his blasters out and shot the first wookiee in the neck, it instantly died, the other grabbed hold of the other operative. It would be heard to get out of this one, but Luthis knew what to do. Pressing the button on his pack, he flew into the air, shooting down on the Wookiee, but it was quick, breaking the operatives necks as it jumped fairly high to pull Luthis down. The pack failed, as too much weight was being put on it, he was now mortally pissed. "I don't think you will be around long enough to break anymore thing..." He heard a crack, his ankle felt as though it was pudding. "Or so you may, but not anymore." Luthis couldn't get a clean shot off, but he would have to, he threw the gun down quickly at the monkey's head. He heard a faint shrill as the Wookiee fell to the ground, Luthis pounced on him, as his right hand smacked him in the face, his left pulled out a nice, long, slick, sharpened Vibro-blade, he pushed it into the neck of the wookiee, instanstly killing that one. Luthis rolled off the dead body, he had lost 7 men, one pistol, and a flame thrower canister, not good, but not too bad. As Luthis looked at it, he had been more daring then others in his group, but he didn't know, it was hard coming back after so long and controlling wimps who couldn't shot a gun if their life... their mind depended on it. He took of his helmet, he dirty blond hair and sweat glimmering in the sun light. He got up and started into a slow jog, placing on his helmet once again. Wookiee's ran in each direction, not knowing which way to save, which way to go. But Luthis did, he unsheathed his last thermal, and threw it into the growing crowd of the wookiees...
  25. Luthis and his men moved quickly, wookiee's now appeared to be everywhere. They made themselves obvious, so the Wookiee's would turn to them instead of Jaster's group. He heard a quiet shrill behind him, checking back, a men had been hit in the leg with a bowcaster. Luthis was fast, he pulled his two blasters up, shot the wookiee twice in the face again. "Let's ge...." Too late, it looked like the whole wookiee villiage had surrounded him. They had their casters ready to fire, but Luthis was quick. He threw down a stun grenade, casters went off, one streaked near the torso of Luthis, burning his armor. He lifted off, as he heard the screams of his officers get shot. He had to sacriface them, had to. He and his jet pack were nearly 20 feet off the ground when Luthis pulled the two thermals out of his pocket. He threw them to the ground, and it seemed more wookiee's formed. They all looked around to see where Vandren had gone, what they found was a parting gift that had fell from the sky, a wookiee held it in his hand. Another gift had fallen on the opposite side of the crowd, and boom, what seemed to be hundreds of wookiee parts blew up and around, but their was still a horde left. Luthis spotted Jaster and his crew, he flew to them and dropped down. Breathing fast. "At least ten to twenty wookiee's, as you can see. We should probably open fire... quickly." Luthis kept breathing.
