"I've got to check on a student; that's what I've got."

Making his way to the training rooms, Rocketblaze confirmed that something Force related had happened near Julius that would have been beyond his abilities. It was not the power used, but the control that gave it away. Yet, it still did not seem to have actually happened. Unsettled, Rocketblaze opened the door to find his apprentice unconscious.

"Well, that's an interesting development."

He awoke Julius where he was, so as not to disturb any potential injuries.

"I leave you alone for an hour and you're out cold. What happened?"

Before Rocketblaze could answer, Julius stumbled amberly through the doorway and struggled to make his way across the room to the table where Rocketblaze stood with wide eyes. This attempt was ill-fated and Julius didn't make it, and fell short of the table by at least two meters.

Lifting himself to his knees, Julius had to force the words out.

"The man... He did somthing... I can't breathe..." Julius forcefully expelled his lungs of oxygen, and inhaled more. He made as to speak more, to revive the pains and visions he had seen, but he was too weak, his eyes rolled back, and he tipped to the side, collapsing in a heap of blood emptied flesh and bone.

Moric got up from the table after finishing his meal. It was rather tasty. It had been some time since he had eaten any real food. Food stamps just weren't that filling.

The Serpent Lord noticed RB leave the room and headed towards Tashkri. He was in the mood for some exercise. Moric put a hand on the elder Serpent Master's shoulder. "So, are you in the mood for a workout?"

((OOC: We're going. I tried to get in contact with the two other apprentices, but to no avail. Thus, it's time to have fun. This post will take everybody to Maltauros.))

Rocketblaze let out a sigh as he pressed a few buttons on his wrist link. He passed the medical droid in the hallway and turned back to see it carry off Julius to the medical ward. The Archserpent progressed to the forge, where he sat and entered a deep meditation. He envisioned many workers laboring to create weapons of substance. The underground shaft mine had brought up enough material to create hundreds of weapons, but Rocketblaze only desired to produce five different types: swords, throwing knives, daggers, knuckles and blade rimmed shields.

He could see the workers in his mind, all of them without detail, working only to mold weaponry. After a short time this vision began to enter into reality. The faceless workers were there, an extension of himself. The Force brought into his home to do his work. In moments there were hundreds there, heating metal, molding it, then cooling it. The cooled items were removed and finished with delicate care by more of the same faceless workers. None of them needed eyes to see or feet to stand or hands to work. None of them were there, yet all of them were there.

Rocketblaze resolved to keep himself firmly in his vision until he was interrupted by any more pressing matter. The weaponry would require more work, but for now it was coming along well. The alchemic weapons would be resistant to the lightsaber, infectious to the wound and heated to the touch. His vision was interrupted by the calling of Tzeentch, so he gathered the available weapons and rounded up his brood.

Rocketblaze, Garet Jax, Tashkri, Moric Thian, Raven and Julius Arith were assembled on the Blazetail. All of the Serpents were scanned for physical health, their DNA sent to the central hub within the compound.

As the ship exited the atmosphere of Chandrila, Rocketblaze distributed the five weapons that he had completed.

"Tashkri, I present you with these three throwing daggers. They symbolize your cunning and accuracy in battle."

"Moric, I give you this dagger. Its 15 inch blade can be hidden around your core. Use it well."

"Raven, for you I have alchemic knuckles. They can be used as a last resort or used to augment a surprise strike with your fist. Enjoy."

"Julius, to replace your vibrosword I give you this Sith sword. It will serve you well, for its balance is good and it is lighter than it appears. Good luck."

Rocketblaze then moved to his old friend, Garet. Garet was not in the form that he needed to be for battle, but luckily Rocketblaze could change that. The Archserpent focused his energy on a technique lost from the Sith ways after Sidious and Plagueis. Garet's body began to swell, muscle building by the second. When he was worthy of battle, Rocketblaze stopped.

"It is not your muscle built in your way, I know, but it is the best we can do with so little time. I give you this shield for our impending battle. It's edge is razor sharp, and I hope that it will serve you well."

The Archserpent then checked himself. His lightsaber was secure, as was the wicked dagger. He transmitted order "Ar" to the compound before turning to his collected order.

"If you die in battle, you shall be reborn. I have become more powerful than the trivial aspects of life and death. Now, I must enter your minds to create a collective conscious from which to revive any who fall. And fear not of my death, for I can come back from it whenever I see fit."

Rocketblaze sat down, eyes closed, and entered a meditative state. He was prepared for what he had to do. Leading the Serpent order into battle was not a light affair, as physical conflict was not advocated by him unless it was to represent the ideals of the Serpents. Honoring Tzeentch was worthy of that call. The Archserpent focused on his followers, touching all of their minds together, forming a powerful essence. This essence rose above all of them and vanished into nothing in a surge of energy, resonating within all Serpents aboard the Blazetail. The slightest bit of them had been stored away, forever preserving their places in the Universe.

They continued to the battle.

Garet had his old body back now, and a metal arm bestowed upon him by Tzeentch as his reward. The arm was designed to help him use his alchemic abilities with more ease. Garet felt the slowness of trying to use his magic was a reason he had been defeated. He had never been too keen on working with someone like Tzeentch. He'd always felt the Serpents functioned best when Rocketblaze gave orders, not when he took them. But he had his original form back and that was all he was concerned about.

It will be much easier now to reforge my lightsaber.

With that in mind, Garet tossed the piece of junk he'd been working on before. He started over from scratch, using his alchemy abilities to quicken the process.

--Transmission for Moric Thian--

Greetings Serpent Lord,

This communication is from Lord Xentar Kentam of the Sith. Some time ago, I joined the Serpent Order only to be repelled by an overly-corrupt Archserpent who has since perished. You stand a witness of the power and devotion I will bring to the Serpent Order if I am to be accepted back into it.

I wish to return to the Serpent Order. I have recently been killed and cloned, so I am without the very armor that the Serpents seem to stand against. I am also without a lightsaber, but if anything could be learned from Archserpent Yahn, it is that even a lightsaber is unnecessary if the Dark Side of the Force is at your disposal.

We will speak more at a later time.

--End transmission--

The sight of Chandrila was a familar one indeed. Moric was always atuned to seeing chandrila, it was quite a beautiful place. The flowing trees flanked a small lake just in front of the old Serpent compound. The tempature was always inviting as well, as if it wanted humans to be there. Although Maltorous was ripe with battle, the smell had been somewhat unpleasent, something the Serpent Lord was glad to be rid of.

He made his way out of his ship, onto the lush grasses of Chandrila. He was tempted to just drop onto his back and roll around. Just as this pleasent thought entered his mind however, his commlink began to vibrate. At first the sensation made the Serpent Lord jump, it had been such a long time sense he had recieved a comm. Moric put the device to his ear, waiting with curiosty and caution, a rare mix.

After the comm had ended, Moric slipped his communications device back into his robes. He had a blank expression on his face, making it obvious that he was examing into his past. Xentar tried to join the Serpents once before back when Moric was in charge for a while. Only the thought of how that went reminded Moric of how much he still had to learn. He was not fit to lead yet.

Moric had fought the Sith Lord and defeated him, considering he first thought the man was of hostile intent. Before anything else could be said besides learning of Xentar's intend to join, Cineon arrived, orders blazing. Moric never really liked Cineon too much. The man loved power, as if that was the only thing he knew.

The Serpent turned to an older one, Tashkri, who was just leaving the ship as well.

"You remember Xentar Kentam don't you? Looks like he's looking for readmission." Knowing it was no longer his place to decide who was in or who was out, Moric had to bring it up with someone else. "What do you think?"

Walking out of the ship and onto the grass, Tashkri took a second to stretch out, listening as various joints and vertebra popped into position.

"Actually Moric, I don't know this Xentar. I'm going to guess that you met this person while I was spending some alone time out in the forests of this planet. If either Garet or Rocketblaze were present when Xentar was, I'd go check with them."

As Moric went off to talk to the other Serpents, Tashkri reached behind his back and pulled out the first two of his trophies. Taking Haphaestus's lightsabers, he ignited the blades. Running through some basic attacks, defenses, and parrys, Tash starts on the road of mastering the use of two lightsabers simultaneuosly.

Landing his ship in the cave he used for cover, Rocketblaze indicated to Kira that they were getting off. He escorted her off the ship, standing behind her to ensure that nobody got the wrong impression. The Archserpent led her across the lush grass onto a bridge that stretched across the lake to the residential section of the Serpent Order's compound. Crisp water reflected the clear blue sky, making the landscape into a natural tapestry.

Once inside, Rocketblaze opened a door. He addressed Kirana when both of them were beyond the doorway.

"Go in here and wait until I come for you. You're free to do as you please as long as you remain sealed inside. It's for your protection."

He walked out of the room, sealing it behind him. Now it could only be opened by himself, knowing the code, or from standard switch inside. Ready to proceed, he sent out a comm to the Serpent Order:

"All Serpents meet me in the dining hall. I have a surprise for the order."

Taking his usual seat at the head of the table, the Archserpent waited for the guys to show up.

Moric headed towards the Serpent compound, hoping he could find someone with knowledge of Xentar's presence in the order. The Serpent Lord vaguely remembered Garet being around just before he had left for Coruscant, perhaps he had some insight on the Sith. If it were up to Moric, Xentar would join, but that was no longer that particular man's decision.

He reached the coumpound, its familiarity quite vibrant in his mind. The Force signature emitted from Garet was easy to follow, considering how strong it was. Just as Moric was about to close in his prey, an announcement came blaring through the PA. Rocketblazes' voice was unmistakable. The Sith Lord stopped in his tracks and made a complete 180. The dinning hall was now his new destination.

Moric was the first to arrive it seemed. He was curious to find out what RB had in store.

As Kira walked alongside him, she breathed in deeply of the clear fresh air. Her robe fluttered slightly with the breeze as she took in the scenery, silently agreeing with his assessment of his homeworld. She began to relax somewhat.

She could feel others as they entered the compound, wondering what sort of reception she was likely to get, still unsure of exactly what was happening. Being shown into a room, she turned back towards him as he spoke. After being closed in, she stepped further into the room, seating herself on the floor in a cross legged postion and began to meditate, letting the light energies surround her, flowing through her, trusting only in the will of the force. Whatever was to happen now, it would be the be of the force. She would not hide the fact she was light. He had said no harm would come to her, she just had to trust that fact.

Garet hefted his new double-bladed lightsaber. His work had been quickened by his alchemic gifts and his new left arm. Garet looked at the transmutation symbols etched into the arm. They had certainly made the process quicker.

"I think I will call this arm the Iron Reaver."

Garet heard Rocketblaze's call. He clipped his saber to his belt, and strapped his sword across his back and took his place in the dining hall.

Practicing on the front lawn of the Serpent complex, Tashkri was the first to notice the new arrival. His motions slowed to a halt, the twin lightsabers moving to his sides. Tash would have summoned forth his incendiary powers the first instant he felt her presence, if not for Rocketblaze, who was apparently guarding over her.

Pressing his thumbs in, the beams of crimson retracted into their respective hilts. Storing the sabers back in his pouch, he followed the Archserpent at a respectable distance. Tashkri was already inside the complex when Rocketblaze sent forth the call for assembly. Surprisingly, he wasn't the first one to make it into the dining hall. Taking a seat across from Garet, Tash looked towards their master.

"Who is the lightsider?"

Rocketblaze had a serious expression, despite his usual lighthearted demeanor.

"I've brought us a Jedi. We're going to learn from her, expanding our influence upon the Force. She will most likely try to turn us away from the dark side, but it is of no consequence. We are all strong with the Force, but it may pay off for us to access the light."

The Archserpent detected the uneasiness of the Serpent Order.

"Don't get me wrong... We're still dark side users, bending the Force to aid our will. We are not searching for balance in the Force, nor are we seeking to protect the galaxy. Screw the galaxy. Let the Jedi deal with diplomacy. But if we can better understand the light side, using that knowledge to protect ourselves, then having this Jedi with us will be a step forward for us."

He knew that it would be strange to have a light side user around, and could only hope that their trust in him would assure them.

"Keep her safe, but protect yourselves if you have to. She's our guest for now. I've gained some of her trust, so please don't do anything to blow that away."

Rocketblaze got up from the table and started down the hall. He spoke over his shoulder.

"I'll bring her in."

Moving quickly, the Archserpent opened the door to the room and found Kirana sitting on the floor. He motioned for her to follow him and stopped when they arrived in the dining hall.

"This is Kirana. Anybody that messes with her unprovoked will get the smack laid down on them. She will be teaching as she sees fit, has her own room to stay in, and is granted free range over the compound, save our own personal rooms. Anything that you don't want her to know about, store away in your quarters."

Rocketblaze relaxed his expression, the serious tone melting out of his voice.

"Now, if there are any questions or comments... which I assume there are from all of you, feel free to ask me either now or later. You can also address Kirana, who is now free to do as she pleases."

Archserpent Rocketblaze turned to the Jedi. Maintaining a light tone, he added a depth to his words to stress his meaning.

"You are subject to the regulations of this community. I am the final authority within the Serpent Order for reasons of structure and control. If you have an issue, solve it with me. Don't cross me... or you will find your soul without a body."

Opening her eyes as she came out of her meditation, Kira looked around the room she had been placed in. It was a simple room, no windows, a bunk, desk and chair. It had a wall print on one side with a soothing view of a waterfall surrounded by forestry. As Rocketblaze opened the door she stood, turning to face him. Kira followed him to the dining hall, looking at the other Serpents around the room. She sensed a certain hostility, though felt she could trust what Rocketblaze had stated. She stood silently beside him as he continued his speech, answering only when addressed.

"I understand perfectly."

Her words while simple held the meaning behind that she knew only to well that her life was currently under his control.

Garet accepted Rocketblaze's pronouncement. He wasn't happy that a Jedi was in their midst, though, that was for certain. The Serpent Lord had had little contact with the Jedi Order, but did not like what little he'd seen. The Jedi were as hypocritical and damaging to the galaxy as the groups they fought against. The Serpent spoke,

"I will respect your wishes Master, I am sure your reasons for allowing this Jedi to be here are valid. But she should realize any effort she makes to change me will be futile."

Keeping his gaze on the Archserpent, Tashkri tries to understand what his master had just told him.

We're supposed to be learning from a Jedi?! Has he gone insane?

Exercising some diplomancy, Tash swallows the explatives that had been trying to escape from his mouth. For now, he would let it smolder inside him. What this Jedi ended up doing or tried to do would control whether or not the flame would be fed or extinguished.

"Archserpent, just what knowledge are we supposed to learn from her? Our powers are superior to their's. How can you think this will help us?"

Moric kept his distance from the Jedi now standing before the Serpent order. The only Jedi that Moric had ever come in contact with were dead, and by his own hand. The lightsaber that hung on the Serpent Lord's waist was from a jedi.

Knowing he was the lowest ranking member of the Serpents, Moric kept quiet. Garet and Tashkri seemed to have more than enough comments on the issue. The idea of learning from a lightsider rather than figting one seemed a little strange to him, but he could get used to it. Rocketblaze had proven worthy of Moric's trust in the past. He just hoped Rocketblaze wasn't trying to bite off more than he could chew. There was one sure thing however, Moric was not going to give up the dark side. No matter what dangers the Jedi might concieve of its aspects, the dark side of the Force had served the Serpents well in the past, and would continue to do so.

The younger man remained attentive, even though the situation with Xentar Kentam seemed to weigh more on his priority list than some jedi. He would have to wait untill after this meating to talk to Rocketblaze however.

Silently Kira sighed. While the Jedi had their own problems, their own misconceptions regarding the darkside users, the darksiders also had their's about the Lightside. She was there only at Rocketblaze's request. There was no way anyone could force someone to change if they didn't wish to. From what she gathered, she was there only to enlighten them with regards to the Lightside of the Force. The Force just was. It wasn't more powerful on either spectrum, it was what a person did with it, how they let the Force use them as it's tool... it's extension.

She knew that eons ago, children were taken from their families when they were discovered as force sensitive. Gone were those days, Luke Skyewalker had instigated new ways as to prevent the mistakes made with regards to his father's case. Those trained in the ways of the Jedi now days were by choice only. You can't teach someone who doesn't wish to be taught. Every apprentice she'd had, she had given that choice to, with no pressure.

Kira herself had been going through a period of change. Letting go of her own past to better herself in the future. She had spent time in meditations and time in studying. She had gone back to basics, including researching the very first records she could find. She had been trained as the classic Guardian. Her skills were in combat, though her speciality had been Battle Meditation and Battle melding. She was skilled at merging her powers with another, giving of herself to strengthen others.

She had let go the emotions that had dragged her down after the loss of her two previous padawan's, having somehow been convinced that they had been cursed through the prophecy that Nurgle had stated when he told her she would be back in his grasp. She had let everything go during her meditation on Ilum.

Now she stood before Rocketblaze's order, not blinded by the 'darksider'/'lightsider' views, but seeing them only as men that were instruments of the Force. She remained calm, centered, not allowing their negativity to enter her. She was a child of the light, though she knew it wasn't for everyone. Kira would not force any teachings upon them, but would instruct only if it were asked of her...

The Archserpent looked to his best friend, Garet Jax.

"I don't expect you to change at all. You're character is too strong."

He allowed a sincere smile to cross his face before turning his attention to Tashkri.

"You're still as rash as ever. I love it... But you have to realize that we have not reached the pinnacle of our power yet. This is just an experiment to further our understanding of the Force."

Before continuing, he winked at Moric. Rocketblaze could tell that the other Serpent was holding back and wanted to acknowledge that he felt the anxiety.

"All of you need to understand that we are not abandoning the dark side. We have risen above its influence. The Serpent Order commands the Force. We shape the galaxy beyond the squabbles between Jedi and Sith. This is simply an opportunity to expand our influence."

The Archserpent let loose a sigh, scanning the face of each Serpent.

"We can destroy this Jedi in under a second. Just let down your guard, give it a chance, and we'll take it from there... Don't forget where we stand. We are not Sith, and they are barely our allies. The Jedi are only our enemy when the Sith call for our aid. The galaxy is our enemy as long as it fails to understand our power."

Rocketblaze could only hope that the Serpents had not begun to fall into the dark side. They were apart from the Sith because they were able to rise above the Force, bending it to their will with a degree of respect. They were the true masters of the 'evil' present in the Force.

"Anything more can be addressed with me in private. I'm sure you've all got better things to do other than sit around. Just trust me as you always have and everything will flow just fine. You don't have to do anything with Kirana, just know that she's available... We're done here."

He motioned for Kirana to advance down the hall toward her room. As they walked, he spoke to her as he did when they first met.

"It went better than I thought it would. I know that they're trying to be cautious, but I fear that they've strayed a bit from the intended path. My hope is that your presence will keep them from reverting to the primitive nature of the Sith."

When they arrived at her room, Rocketblaze stopped to look at her directly. Face to face, he felt comfortable with her.

"Thank you. Even if this does nothing for my followers, your trust means something to me."

The Archserpent continued down the hall, out to the floating pathway he had brought the Jedi across no more than fifteen minutes ago. He looked into the clear, deep water. Sitting down, he awaited the arrival of a fellow Serpent, working his mind over all his plans.

As soon as Rocketblaze and the Jedi moved out of the kitchen, Moric began to follow. He winded his way throught tables lining the mess hall untill he reached the hallway where the Archserpent dissapeared into. He noticed the Jedi's foot just as it turned the corner, heading out of the facility. Moric hastened to follow.

He found the man he was looking for, sitting near the pond as if intrigued by his own reflection in the water. The Jedi sat beside, looking rather incomfortable, as if she would rather be somewhere else. Moric never had to interact with a Jedi before. All he used to do was take out a lightsaber and the rest was history. He wasn't at all sure what the Jedi were like when not on the battlefield. Curiosity started to leak its way into the Serpent Lord's ever wondering mind.

Moric moved when he noticed he had been standing there for a while, as if entrolled by the Jedi.

"Master Rocketblaze, I came to speak to you about a new member that wants admittance into the Serpents. He was here before, back when you were gone." Moric inclined his head awkwardly towads Kirana, not knowing how to address her. "Should I send him the coordinates?"

Rocketblaze remained unmoving in his reply, still fixated on the water below.

"If you trust him, then I will trust him. But if he fails to find the way, I will be forced to kill him. His fate is in your hands."

There was something empowering about the water. It was calm, barely moving, yet it could destroy anything in its path with only time and motion. The Archserpent closed his eyes, feeling at peace with his home.

Kira had walked with Rocketblaze as far as her room, having entered it for only a moment, she decided to head outside. It was too nice a day to remain indoors. She noticed Rocketblaze and one of the others off in the distance, the direction in which she had been brought in from so changed direction, not wanting to interfere with their conversation. She headed to the stream's edge, following it a way before seating herself beside it.

She listened to the water trickling over the rocks, bubbling along it's way. It was peaceful here. She could even forget for a moment that she was amongst the darkside users. She sank into a meditation, drawing the light energies around her, renewing her strength in the force, allowing it to flow through her, to use her as it would. She lived only to serve the force. Deep in her meditations, she began the rising meditation, levatating above the dampened ground, hovering about a foot above where she had been seated, just letting the force flow in and around her. Her breathing was steady, as was her focus...
