*The slight corners of a twisted grin appeared on Bishop's face as he watched the dark robed figures approach and then lead Kaylynn away. He turned back into the ship and the loading bay closed. Stepping back into position behind the talker as the ship rose, he tipped his head slightly towards Tarrian as he spoke.*

"Soon. Soon we will be back at Mimban, and you can begin... construction of your academy."

*Hanging a moment before the stars, the ship blasted into hyperspace.*

Kaylynn had spoken to her mother before leaving the ship and asked her to do something for her. She had left viano in her care, and spoke to her about Jareth. She knew it would be in good hands.

Now...she WAITED for days for Crimson to get on with this so she could be on her way.

*At long last the turbo lift reached the center of Illum and the two dark figures stepped out into the carefully prepared ritual area. Celedon waited for them there, standing quietly with his arms folded behind his back. He took Kaylynn's hand and led her into the center of a carefully laid circular pattern made of bones. With a cryptic gesture, sand on the floor rose into the air, foriming what appeared to be a representation of the galaxy.

Kaylynn felt herself being lifted up into the air, until she was in the center of the mock galaxy. The grains of sand began to drift towards her, and then explosivley flew outward as a great surge went through Kaylynn and then the galaxy itself.

Death swept through the galaxy, and one fifth of all life was destroyed.*

One blood, one shadow.

Mara was open to the force again, trying to figure out where she was going to get a jewel that would be fit for her lightsaber when it happened. She felt as though a piece of her was ripped from her body. She could feel the hole ripped in the force. She heard the voices crying out as they died, unknown to many of the others in the galaxy. It was over in the blink of an eye, but the effects lasted longer. She just had enough time to reach out to Leo, and make sure he was alive before the darkness claimed her.

Leo feels the death of billions as planets explode and stars collide. He reaches out and grabs Mara as he falls to one knee. He gathers his strengh without using the Force. His knees were weak and his arms tired. His face showed pain and exaustion. His mind was struggling for strength and peace.

The Corellian Prince carried his wife to the Nubian outside the cave. He did not care that she had not yet found a crystal for his saber. He wanted to get her way from this place. Away from the thing that caused the death of all those people. The thing that caused all those peoples suffering.

Once inside the ship he closes the door and brings in the boarding ramp. Once he reaches the controls, he could feel the darkness had left and pure evil had taken its place. The inquisitive nature in him wanted to get out and find it. The hero inside him wanted to get out and destory it. While the more sane and protective part of hijm wanted to get his wife out. That part won the battle. He starts up the engines and with a roar they lift te big ship off the icy world. He pulls on the controls and pull the craft into the atmosphere and soon into space. The ship was swallowed by the black of a hyperspace tunnel and they are off.

Mara woke to find herself inside Leo's ship. She made her way to the front of the ship, and sat in the co-pilot chair next to Leo.

"I didn't finish my lightsaber yet! Why did we leave? And what was that, where did it come from, how did it happen, and who did it?"

Toster's ship slowly descended onto Ilum's surface. It was soon followed by the ship of his master. They landed in a descrete area, making sure that they were a safe distance from any other signs of intelligent life. Upon landing Toster quickly exited his ship, and approached his master. As he came close to K'munee, he saw that the Jedi was already moving torwards what seemed to be a cave, lodged into the side of a small hill. Following his master, as he entered the small dark cave he could see nothing. It was only when Toster turned on his plasma light, that he was utterly astonished by what he saw.

The cave's walls were absolutely filled with crystals, many of them embeded in the floor. They were of various colors, although the larger ones were all either green or blue. K'munee began to speak.

"These are the crystals, which will become the key part of your lightsaber. The color of your blade will depend on the color of the crystals you choose. Although a lightsaber consists of many pieces, which you will learn of later, the crystal is "soul" of your lightsaber, so choose wisely."

Heeding the words of his master, Toster began to search the shallow cave for the right crystals, letting the force guide him. As he drifted, without purpose, he suddenly came to a halt. It was as if something had stopped his leg at that very spot. Looking around, Toster was surprised to find that there were no crystals in atleast a ten foot radius of himself. Looking at the ground, he was about to move forward when he lifted his foot and saw what appeared to be a small crystall directly under where his shoe had once been. Bending over, he tried to pull the crystall out of the ground. He immediatly found that the crystall was actually much larger than it had at first appeared. Upon uncovering dirst surrounding the crystal, Toster quickly found several other large crystals. Not sure which ones to choose, he took all of them, and deposited them in a leather pouch.

Turning to K'munee, Toster nodded, and exited the dark cave. As Toster's eyes began to adjust to the light he noticed that his master was already sitting next to his ship, taking various metallic parts out of a jet black sack, and placing them onto an unfurled blanket.

"These are the various parts which make up a lightsaber. This you see here, is the shell of the lightsaber."

As the jedi master spoke, he pointed at the various corresponding parts and sections of the lightsaber.

"This is the power cell, this is the activation lever, followed by the blade intensity and length adjusters, the recharge socket, the emitter matrix, and finally the internals access lever. This you see hear, are the internals of a lightsaber. This is the battery pack, and this is where you insert the crystals. Although you may want to build a custom lightsaber, this one will suffice for now. Put the cystals in place, and see if it works."

Doing as his master said, Toster picked up the lightsaber's internals, and placed two of the larger crystals into place. He than picked up the shell, placed the internals inside, and locked them in. Pointing the saber away from himself and his master, Toster switched on the activation lever. He was delighted to see a bright blue blade of light burst out from the saber, creating a low humming sound. Testing out the various levers, he adjusted the length and intensity of the blade to his liking.

"Now that you have your lightsaber, and you are fully trained in its use, I will take you to Manaan, where you will be presented to the jedi council."

Surprised to hear his master's announcement, Toster quickly jumped into his ship, and followed his master out of atmosfere.

Kaylynn opened her eyes and felt young Viano. She was still bathed in the deaths of millions and a smile on her face. She sat up in the snow and looked about...

she stood up and moved slowly to the ship and headed off for Mimban.

The first thing Nom noticed when he got out of the ship was how cold it was, he was really used to it by now though, after spending so much time on Hoth.

He whatched as his master seemed to be enjoying this new enviroment. Nom wondered why this place was so special. But, at least it didnt have any Sith on it at the moment, or so Nom hopped.

He addressed his master.

"So, whats the plan now?"

Looking down at his apprentice, Mathis favors Nom with a genuine smile.

"The plan now, my apprentice, is something you will be doing on your own. These mountains hold the Adegan crystals. They are what we use to make our lightsabers work."

Watching the dawn of understanding on Nom's face, Mathis turns back to the mountains.

"You will travel into these mountains, and find one of the caves that hold the crystals. You will then construct your lightsaber. Here, take these with you."

From behind his back, Mathis pulls out a small box, and hands it to Nom. Reaching down to his belt, he unclips his lightsaber, and hands it over as well.

"This box contains the materials you will need to construct your lightsaber, except for the crystal. You can use my lightsaber as a model with which to build your own. Now, go, and may the Force be with you."

With that he gives Nom an encouraging smile, and heads off to elsewhere on the planet.

Nom looked at the lightsaber in his hands. He didn't know too much about lightsabers, hopeful this one would help. Nom watched his master walk away. He slid the box inside his pocket. With lightsaber in hand, Nom made his way down a nearby slope and into a valley.

It had only been an hour and Nom was almost within the range of a nearby cave. Each step grew heavier and it seemed like the wind would never stop. His muscles cringed at each passing wind. He grew wary, his muscles and limbs screaming in pain. He could see the cave now; it must be around 15ft away. He was within reach; he would not let the cold win.

The wisent much better than outside but at least it was shelter. Nom had to venture out once more, he needed fire wood. With lightsaber in hand, Nom mad his way to a nearby tree. The blade shimmered to life amongst the mass of snow.

Nom's eyes transformed into a look of wonder, he had never held a lightsaber before, but It felt oddly familiar...

He made his way to a nearby tree cut it down, with the help of his master's lightsaber. He brought the tree back into the cave and cut it into even smaller pieces.

Now, how would I make fire out of this...

Nom's eyes wondered towards the box of supplies Mathis had given him. Nom picked up the box and dumped everything out. Nom couldn't believe his luck; the box was made of metal. He took out the lightsaber and touched the blade against the box. It started to melt. Using the force, Nom levitated the box over the freshly cut wood. The melted box started to spill over the wood. Holes emerged with the wood and Nom noticed a small flame take life. He blew it gently and in no time the whole pile of lumber was ablaze.

After warming up a bit from the fire, Nom decided to go find some lightsaber crystals. The cave got darker as Nom made his way deeper inside. He didn't know too much about Ilum, but he knew there had to be some kind of animal inside this cave, an animal waiting within the shadows. With his master's lightsaver in hand and a vibroblade in the other, Nom was ready for anything. Nom came to a point inside the cave where he couldn't really see. The snap hiss of his master's blade echoed thought the winding tunnels.

Nom called upon the force to aid him within the darkness. With only the faint glow of his master's lightsaber providing him with light, Nom could use all of the help he could get. He stopped moving for a moment and took in the sensations of his senses getting a boost of effectiveness. He could hear every drop of water, and he could also hear the breath of ever creature within his immediate surroundings. There was one breath in particular that aroused Nom's curiosity. With the force guiding his steps, Nom slowly made his way towards a pile of rocks. The breaths grew louder with each footstep.

Something bolted out from behind the rocks, Nom spun around trying to catch a glimpse of what creature he had just stumbled upon. His eyes rested upon a massive outline of creature. Before he could get a good look at it, he found that he had been knocked to the ground. The cave went pitch black again.

Sithspawn! I must have dropped Mathis' lightsaber.

Fortunately, Nom still managed to hold onto his vibroblade. He couldn't see the creature, he could only hear it faintly. He swung his vibroblade blindly in front of him. Maybe he would get lucky. He felt another blow connect with his back, he flew forward and hit the ground face first. Nom dove deeper into the force. He had done this several times, but this was his best attempt so far. Nom could see every thing in the room perfectly through the force, almost like someone turned on a light switch. A giant lizard of some kind was staring straight back at him.

It was about the size of Nom himself and looked extremely vicious. Nom lunged forward with his vibroblade and aimed for its arm, the creature jumped out of the way, but Nom was quick to follow. Rolling to his right, Nom made a pass at the creatures back. He brought his blade down upon the lizard's back right leg, he watched as he sword bounced off with almost no damage to the lizard at all.

The lizard was already upon Nom before he could have a chance at striking from another angle. The lizard didn't strike at Nom this time, he sent a blow straight at Nom's vibroblade. His vibroblade fell to the ground, in two pieces. Another blow from the creature's tail was already on its way, but this time Nom was ready. He ducked under the tail and sprinted the opposite direction. He searched the room with his eyes, and he found a hint of silver in the among some rubble. Nom positioned himself behind the creature and called that hint of silver to him. His master's lightsaber shot into his hand and Nom activated the blade right when the saber reached him. With a quick and powerful motion, Nom brought it down upon the lizard's neck. Nom gave a quick sigh of relief as he watched the lizard's head roll across the ground.

Nom fell to the ground. He couldn't believe he had used the force to help him kill that thing, whatever it was. Using the force to fight a hologram of yourself is one thing, but a giant lizard was something different entirely.

Nom got up from the ground and continued to make his way deeper into the cave. He found it strange that he didn't feel all that tired after fighting lizard of that magnitude.

It seemed like he had been walking for too long. He had been moving deep inside this cave and he saw no sign of a crystal. He started to get tired of the endless monotony of nothing but rocks and nothing but the cold for company. Enough was enough.

hmmm, I wonder.....

Nom activated his master's lightsaber and made his way to the wall of the cave. He trusted the blade into the rock and to his surprise, three crystals were lodged into the rock. Nom made careful incisions around the crystals and freed them from their rocky prison. After sliding the crystals into his pocket, Nom made his way back to his campfire.

Nom felt lucky that he didn't run into another creature on his way back to his fire. He put his crystals among the other supplies that his master had giving him. He stared at the pile and had no idea where to begin. The only thing he could do to figure out how to make a lightsaber, was to take apart his master's.

Making sure not to knock anything out of place, Nom carefully took apart his master weapon, he noticed immediately that there were many pieces within his master's saber that were the identical to those that lay before him. Nom picked some pieces of medal out of his pile that looked like they would be made for the outer shell of the saber. He took the metal plates and fell into meditation. He had never experienced the force like this before, but he wondered why this state had come so easy to him. Why had it been so hard for him to enter this type of force mediation before?

He quickie fell into the force as he felt the pieces of medal cling to each other and form a cylindrical shape. he quickly found what looked like a power cell of some kind and carefully placed it within the opening of the medal. Next was the emitter matrix, he slid that into the medal as well, it was almost like force was telling him where to place the component of his lightsaber. Next came the power conduit, the recharge socket, and what looked like an activation plate of some kind.

He opened his eyes to see each part of the saber lying in a position that was similar to the parts of his master's lightsaber. he didn't want to make it exactly the same, he wanted this saber to be his, and he wanted it to be different. Nom grabbed a few pieces of wire and started to attach them to the pieces within his handle. After a while, his saber had what looked like many power lines running from each component.

Now, the only thing left was the crystal. Nom wasn't sure how many he would need, so he decided to use all three. He slid each crystal in carefully and placed them next the lenses. After the crystals were in place, Nom dove back into force meditation. He watched as his lightsaber closed and formed a solid cylindrical shape.

Nom held his lightsaber in his hands, a feeling coursed through him that still seemed familiar. He never had never held a lightsaber before, save for his master's. It was almost like, he was holding the extend of his abilities in the palm of his hand. This was his creation, it was his power. He couldn't understand how his feelings now, felt so familiar. He knew he had never experienced this before.

Deciding to puts that question aside, Nom pushed the activation stud, a Jade green blade shot out of the handle. It looked magnificent, Nom couldn't help but sit and stare at the blade for a few minutes.

After a few minutes or so, nom deactivated the blade and carefully started to put his master's lightsaber back together. Nom activated his master's lightsaber just to be sure that it worked. Nom clipped both lightsabers to his belt and made the long journey back to the ship.

It seems he wouldn't be needing his vibroblade anymore...

OOC: Bravo!

After visiting the small piece of land where the particles of his body had once lain, Mathis reaches for the Force. Seeking out Nom, Mathis feels a that Nom has undergone a change, in his attitude, behavior, and skill.

He has completed the task given him. Soon, he will be ready...

Calling the Force to his aid, Mathis is gone in the wink of an eye. Running across Ilum, he focuses on the minute details of his pace. The molecules of air, the muscles in his body, anything and everything that would enable him to move faster. In a short time, he reaches his ship, a few minutes before Nom. As Nom comes closer, he can see Mathis standing there, with a benevolent smile on his face. As Nom hands Mathis' lightsaber back, he gives Nom an almost fatherly pat on the back as they go back onto the ship. In a few minutes, they are back on their trip through the galaxy.

The Strife IV emerged out of hyperspace and landed in a snow bank on the surface of Ilum. Keiran and Onderin stepped out of the ship and looked around at the vista around them.

"Reminds me of hoth..."

Keiran then realized his apprentice was more trained than he realized and he probably knew what he was thinking. Keiran quickly cut himself off and began speaking.

"Onderin, this planet is called Ilum. Those mountains in the distant are home to the crystals that the jedi have been using for their lightsabers for centuries. It is now your turn. You must traverse across this icy desert to those mountains and search through the caves of the mountain face for a crystal that fits you. You must then construct your lightsaber then and there. Use your training saber as an example into how it is constructed, and find any pieces you need on board my ship, I have plenty of junk lying around. Remember, if any piece of the construction of your training saber baffles you then trust the force, it has a large influence in how a lightsaber is made. Good luck my young apprentice, you will have no method to contact me but I will be back when you are done."

Keiran then walked back to the Strife IV and unloaded his old Obquet Overracer, which was stolen from Bounty Hunter Mike all those years ago. Keiran held down the clutch and increased the throttle, revving the engine. Keiran held it there for a few seconds then depressed the clutch, rocketing off into the distance.

Well, Onderin thought, I guess the topic's not up for discussion.

But he smiled. Here he was, trying to make a Jedi lightsaber. He boarded the ship and looked around. He took some power cells from a blaster rifle, sufficiently curved to make a hilt. Then he scrounged around and found some scraps of metal.

There were some greenish scraps and some silver scraps, just what he wanted. When he finished finding the necessary parts, he set out into the ice-covered plains. The Force guided him to the mountains, for he could barely see through all the ice. The ice fought him like a sentient being, attacking mercilessly.

But he finally spotted the caves above him. He crawled up the ice, using a liquid cable launcher for support. Onderin extended his sphere of conciousness to allow the Force to speak of his enviroments. It told him that the cave was just above him. So he used it to aid his jump as he flew through the air, landing in a dark cave.

He heard a sort of hiss come from the back of the cave, Blast! he thought, realizing that the indigenous speicies called the gorgonoths could be inhabiting this cave. But Onderin was armed only with a training saber.

And the Force, he realized.

The beast charged him, slithering as much as walking.

Keiran felt a slight murmur through the force as Onderin discovered the beast.

"He'll handle himself"

Keiran blasted over the icy tundra of Ilum, jumping over snowbanks, opening his throttle fully, causing the roar of his engines to be heard for miles. Keiran slipt in and out of icy crevices, enjoying the speed and adreneline flowing through him. Keiran let himself go from the force and forgot about everything, simply enjoying his bike.

OCC: Having fun, aren't you?

IC: Onderin had little time to think as the beast charged him. He focused on the Force to help him get out of this mess. His sphere of conciousness told him that the crystals he sought were embeded in the walls of this cave.

His mind recalled that a gorgonoth could only be killed by decapitation. He also knew he had no way of doing that. His weapon had too little power. So he kept it unlit, trying to allow the shadows around him to help him stay hidden.

But the lizard apparently had pretty good night vision, for it still headed strait for him. Alright, he thought, Let's go!

He pulled the Force around him and used it as a springboard to launch himself over the thing's head. It's tail lashed out at him as he landed, but he rolled as he landed to avoid it. It turned extremely quickly and leapt at him. He rolled forward and moved the Force in a wave, sending the gorgonoth off balance. It landed with a thud.

Onderin searched the cave for the precious crytals he was seeking. But at a slight stir behid him he sidestepped rapidly just in time to see a large tail smash into the ice where he had just been standing. Ice and several crystals went flying, bouncing off his cloak and cutting into his bare facial skin.

I'm getting nowhere, he thought desperately, But maybe I'd better take a different approach to the situation.

So thinking, he focused on the beings mind. The mind was surprisingly weak and easy to control. He bent it's thoughts and spoke new ones, "I am not here."

The lizard stopped moving. Onderin had no idea if the trick had worked, though. He watched it wearily as it slowly moved to the back of the cave and sat down. "You're tired. You have no reason to fight," Onderin said.

It curled up into a surprisingly small shape and fell asleep. When Onderin was sure it was dozing happily, he smiled victoriously and picked three crystals from the ground around him--three that the gorgonoth had knocked from the wall.

Two of them were green, and one was a oranginsh-yellow color. He hoped the resulting blade would be green. But rather than testing his luck making a lightsaber next to a sleeping gorgonoth, he decided to head back out into the ice.

Keiran looked around and saw many creatures on the tundra run for cover as they heard the roar of his Overracer's engines. Keiran pulled back on the handle bars and allowed the the bike to blast forward, barely balancing on the rear end of the bike. Snow and ice flew out from behind the bike as Keiran hurtled over the tundra at over 200kmh.

The ice blasted into his face as Onderin stumbled down the cliff face. He had no idea where he could sit and build, but he certainly didn't want to return to the Strife IV until the lightsaber was complete.

As he stumbled the Force beckoned to him. He followed its call until a small crevice caught his eye. He looked dubiously at it, but moved for it anyway. When he reached it he squeezed through and found himself in a small room almost, completely protected from the surrounding ice.

It was just big enough to fit about three of him. Blocking the back corner was some sort of tree. What luck! he thought, I didn't know anything could grow on a planet like this! The tree was supposedly fed by the water from ice that had melted on reaching this warmish cavern.

Onderin cut a few branches off the tree with his training saber and piled them on the floor. It had been the Force that had led him to this cave, so he turned back to the Force to allow him to light a fire. The idea came to rub air molecules together. He started with a few, heating them enough to give light. Then he gathered a few more, then several. Soon he had enough heat to cause the branches to smoke, and then catch fire.

But the victory was minor. He still had to build a lightsaber. He carefully took apart the training saber again to use it as a guide. But he only used its design loosely, being sure to make the saber he was building truly his. He had enough green metal to coat some of the power cells, as well as continue the color up to the emission tip.

He built a core of metal clips, and placed the refurnished power cells onto it, creating a nice curve fit for a handle. After he had built up the other side, he was sweating in concentration. Sweating--on an ice planet.

Finally, it came time to place the crystals he had gathered into the frame. He placed the green ones on either end with the yellow in the middle. During his research he had learned that a Jedi had to finally bind the lightsaber with the Force, in deep meditation. So after he screwed onto the top an sliced-down emitter tip from an nonfunctional blaster he had found in Keiran's ship, he fell into a trance.

In this trance the lightsaber bound itself. Everything came together and the pieces fit for the first time. After 20 minutes, Onderin awoke from this trance. He looked down at the lightsaber. It was just as he had imagined. It was silver chrome for 2/3 around, where the last third was a metallic green, shining as bright as the rest. The hilt was seamless, although he had fit it together from many different parts. He found he could still replace the power cells with relative ease.

But the test was not over. Closing his eyes, Onderin touched the switch to activate the blade. He heard a familiar snap-hiss as the weapon sprung to life. He opened his eyes to see a green blade with a yellow ring surrounding the pure white core. He felt the power in the hilt. He knew it was by all means a perfect weapon.

He swung it once or twice, reveling in the feel of accomplishment it gave him. He thanked the Force for being there to help him, for guiding him when he knew nothing, and binding his lightsaber when the time came. He felt as if the weapon were an extension of his own body.

Keiran pulled the handlebars of the Overracer to the right as he entered the coordinates of the Strife IV. He followed the navicomputer all the way back to his Sith Infiltrator. Keiran parked the small bike in the small cargo bay of the ship and proceeded to the cockpit. Keiran grabbed a lomin ale from the galley and sat down in the pilot's seat. He looked out the forward viewports at the mountains, sensing a feeling of pride from his apprentice as Keiran drank his ale.

"He must have done it... however I don't think he's aware of the Wampas that were exported here during the clone war... In time I'm sure he'll discover them..."

It was time to return to the Strife IV. Onderin set out on foot, extending his sphere of conciousness to alert him to any signs of life. He didn't want to meet another of this gorgonoths.

He continued towards where he remembered the ship being. Then he felt the presence of two large creatures. They were not gorgonoths, for their blood contained warmth. They were mammals.

Onderin hoped that they were not deadly, but knew of no speicies indiginous to this world other than the lizard creature he had already met. But so far this planet had proven full of surprises. He may yet have to fight before leaving.

Then he heard a howl. It sounded almost sticky. He had heard it before... but couldn't remember when. He did remember that it was dangerous. He activated the green blade of his new lightsaber. The creature howled again and lunged at him. It was a tall, white, furry creature. Onderin realized it was a wampa, and he knew the call from his time on Hoth.

The thing was already missing an arm. Onderin swung at it, slashing across it's chest still rather clumsily. It fell to the ground. Onderin turned away but realized there had been another. Suddenly it swung at him from the white-out blizzard around him. The claw connected with his shoulder, tearing through the flesh there. He fell to the ground, plunging into the snow.

But the Force lit up his mind. He rolled over in the snow and pushed with it. The creature fell backwards in the snow. After retrieving his lightsaber with his left hand--his right was nearly disabled--he left the beast in the snow thinking it had never seen him.

Now he focused on the Force healing methods that he had so recently learned. He felt the wound healing, but not very fast. But at least he felt something, like something was being done with the wound, where normal healing was almost undetectable in minutes.

Finally the outline of the Sith Infiltrator Strife IV came into view after what seemed like hours but was only fifteen minutes. As he approached the ship the ramp lowered and he stumbled on board, laying down on the deck as soon as he could, exhausted and chilled to the bone.

Keiran walked into the hallway outside the cockpit and kneeled over the fallen form of Onderin. Keiran reached to his apprentice's hand and picked up the newly created lightsaber. Keiran stood and activated the emerald blade. He swung it back and forth lightly, getting a feel for it's contours.

"Pretty good..."

Keiran deactivated the saber and clipped it to Onderin's belt. He then reached forward through the force and lifted him into the air. Keiran moved him to the cockpit and sat him down in the copilot's seat, placing a blanket over his cold body. Keiran then sat in the pilot's seat and activated the main engines. He blasted off of the surface of Ilum and blasted into space.

  • 2 weeks later...

The small shuttle touched down on the cold and icy surface of Ilum. There were mountains nearby, very special mountains... The two got out of the ship, and headed for a cave.

"Nahstaa, these caves contain the crystals we've been uins for lightsabers for a long time. You must go into the cave and find a crystal you like. When you find one, bring it back here, and I will take you back to Manaan to build your own lightsaber."

Ben'a then took off running into the distance.

Nahstaa used the ran off into the caves, running full pelt, awareness spreading through the caves, to find the crystal he wanted. He used the force to make himself run faster, and soon, he could feel himself nearing the crystal he wanted... he saw it, amongst a cluster of other crystals, and stopped, staring in awe at it... carefully he moved over, and plucked it from the cluster, placing it gently in his robes...

With no further Adue, he pelted back out of the caves, and back to the ship.

As Nahstaa ran back to the mouth of the cave, the mountain began to shake violently. Rocks began to fall from the cave roof as stalagtites snapped off, several barely missing Nahstaa as he ran.

Off in the distance, Ben'a could feel what was going on. He sent a Force-message to his Padawan: "Use the Force, Nahstaa..."

In his mind, nahstaa saw a shard barely miss him... carefully, he used his awareness to sense where the rocks were going to fall. Using this heightened awareness, he avoided them, and kept on running, pushing all the pieces he couldnt avoid out of the way with his mind.

Ben'a smiled to himself as his Padawan used his abilities with the Force to deftly avoid the falling rocks. But there was one more obstacle for him to face. The mountain continued to shake, and just before Nahstaa reached the mouth, a blanket of snow fell, blocking the cave and plunging the Padawan into total darkness.

As nahstaa was put in total darkness, he felt the cold wash over him, and realised for the first time he was away from his sister... sister... sister... i cant die here... my sister... With that, he pushed out with the force, and a large crater was blown into the mountain side, nahstaa already half way to the ship when the dust had settled.,..

Ben'a both heard and felt the boom from the Force-burst Nahstaa had used to open a new way out of the mountain. His training was going good, and soon he would construct his own lightsaber. The Knight began to run back to the shuttle, meeting his Padawan as he arrived.

"Excellent work, Nahstaa. We must go now, back to Manaan, where you can construct your lightsaber."

With that, the two Jedi reentered the shuttle, and rocketed out of the atmosphere heading back to the Eternal Vigilance on Manaan.
