The Hutt's Palace

Wyhl was becoming impatient waiting for the other criminal organizations to return contact to him.

Enough of this. It seems we have to go ahead and begin without the others. The few alliances we have should be enough for now.

Moving slightly Wyhl reaches for his holopad as a small droid rolls out from a room behind him. It quietly rolled up to the massive Hutt and passed along a small piece of paper.

Here are your objectives. The job pays 200,000 per person assassinated and 350,000 for those considered "higher ups". I wish to see an entire order destroyed. And to ensure we understand each other here are your first jobs as members of the Hutt Family.

Alexander as my underboss will be the one to give you your orders directly. I want Astraal, and Rodya to form two crews with those here and head off.

]Wyhl thought about this and hoped his new family would be able to handle finding a crew from within and using it wisely.

I recommend you use no more than 1-2 people per crew. Kdijic and Durga as hutts will stay here and work security and ensure the day to day aspects of the Palace are cared for. Durga I wish for you to go to the Mos Eisley Cantina and ensure that the owner there is a friend of the Hutts. If no owner is there take the bar for the Hutts!

Kidjic you will stay back and head my security. And further questions about this shall be handled by Alexander.

Wyhl throne chair hissed loudly as the hover pad below it raised the chair slightly and moved Wyhl back towards his back room.

Alexander nodded his acknowledgement to the massive asexual Hutt; accepting his mission. He looked from the Twi'lek then to the Dashade that towered over him as only non-human species could. They would be primary players in this mission, but he wasn't foolish. He knew that this couldn't be done without outside help. The force users held considerable power and influence, going against them without assistance from a more established group would be suicide.

He was also acutely aware of the offers given per force user on the bounty hunters network and how they far exceeded those offered by his employer. Not knowing if he could trust the other two completely yet, he'd have to keep an eye on them to make sure money didn't tempt them away from their job. He motioned for the two working under him to follow him into a private room. ((To speed things along, I'd like to assume you're going to follow))

He stepped into the dim room, his visor adjusting and illuminating the potentially dangerous corners. His voice came out as an almost mechanized version of a human's voice.

”œThis mission is hardly going to be easy, but that's what this job is about. Black Sun has a history of going after these orders; you two set up your crew while I go to speak with them. Questions before I depart?”

Rodya remains silent and still as the smaller man speaks. He likes the directness of this orginization. I knew this place smelled OK.

"Yeah," Rodya says after Alexander quits speaking, "Who gets first pick for crews, Astrall or myself? And do are there any specific locations where we should attack first or simple spread out through the galaxy and start wasting people on sight?"

A spark of excitment within Rodya burst into near uncontrollable joy at the very prospect of being unleashed fully on the galaxy. The bit of his sane mind that had not faded away during his time of seclusion in space seems to be disappearing rapidly.

Meanwhile, Rodya punches a button on his com link, immediately alerting Dunya. The droid brings the ship to the palace and waits for the master.

((So are we to go alone since there really isn't anyone else present to make a crew out of, or can we pick up a recruit along the way? He did recommend 1-2 PC's per crew so it would be ok to go solo for the moment wouldn't it?))

”œBrutality attracts attention and while I'd like a certain amount of brutality involved, to ensure they knew we are nothing to scoff at, I'd like to also have an air of mystery left behind so to speak. This means it would be best to select isolated targets and eliminate members of the order systematically.”

"If that be the case, then I will be on my way. Astrall, pick who you like. I have my droid, Dunya, to back me up and fly my ship when need be. I suppose I will also look at the local cantina to see if there are any possible recruits waiting there."

Rodya is eager to get this mission underway. It has promise for excitment, but not only that it is a mission that will test his cunning, his intelligence, and his strength. He has a pocket full of credits after turning in the wookiee bounty, so all he is currently looking for is a challenge, and this Hutt's mission is ideal for the Dashade.

He speaks again, "Here is my comm frequency. Don't hesitate to contact me either for emergencies or just to keep me updated. I think you are right Alexander, it would be wise if we stay within range of each other just in case..."

The Dashade turns to leave, "I'll comm both of you when I decide where I am going to first. Good hunting," he says as he smiles a sinister smile and turns to leave. It is time to be on the move again. Time to be searching for prey, and time to be tasting blood. He boards his ship and orders Dunya to pilot him back to Mos Eisley.

((I'm going to try and take Saphile as a part of my team so consider that my pick))

Kijdic shook his head, or as much as a Hutt could, watching the departing form of Durga. How low had the Hutts fallen to allow one of the lower Hutts to call the Almighty Whyl the 'blubber lord'? Oh well, this was still the Hutts, they would rule supreme once again.

Kijdic slithered out of the grand audience chamber and made his way down the hallway, suprisingly still moving on his own power. He had one of his guards hand him his comlink, then made a call to one of the Hutt Generals.

"General, you are being assigned with the task of setting up adiqutte defenses for this Palace, do it well or suffer the consequences."

The HFC sets to work modifying the defenses as well as opening up a pit just below the main area. It had been something he had wanted to keep secret for some time, but felt now would be an appropriate time to introduce the new ”˜addition' to Wyhl. The entire main room floor was made so it could give way and let those standing in the room fall and specific sections were made to break away by themselves, if the Hutt Lord wanted one humanoid to fall into the Sarlacc pit.

Heavy chain guns/laser turrets line the long, wide corridor effectively setting up a kill zone. Ray shields are set up in the small stair case leading into the main chamber. The large dais that the Hutt Wyhl reclines on is made so it turns to put him into a safe room in the event he needs to make a quick escape. Thick blast doors are installed at all exits to prevent entry, or in some cases exits of those that offend the Hutt lord. Heavily armed guards are but a button's call away.

A report is sent via scantly clad Twi'Lek to both Hutts remaining in the building as well as Alexander concerning the defenses.

Now is your time to die...

Astraal nodded her head, following the other two into the room, her vornskr at her side. She felt a rush at the mission, looking forward to the challenge of it.

"No questions. I'll find a 'partner in crime' and get onto it. Vos is rearing to go"

The vornskr pulled at the lead, a low growling sound coming from his throat.

Alexander nodded his head and moved to exit the room, but before he could another Twi'lek dressed quite skimpily walked into the room and handed him a datapad and flashed him a sultry smile. Beneath his mask, his lip curled. He took the pad from her and waved her out of the room. He silently reviewed the information on the small pad before slipping it into a pouch at his hip.

He took his leave, checking his comm. for the message received from Corellia before lifting off of the planet and making his way to the aforementioned planet.

Landing at Mos Eisley and once more catching a speeder through the sands of Tatooine, Ganelon feels his heart racing. Though soft, cowardly, and cautious, the nobleman still had his pride and his cunning, and though he hated to admit it, even to himself, a taste for adventure and even the exotic. His curisoity bubbling, he wonders if the Palace will be different with it now occupied.

Sure enough, the palace looked rebuilt and well guarded. Ganelon licks his pale blue lips, smooths back his green hair, and smooths down his almost filly purple coat, flicking off some loose grains of sand. He dismbarks from the rented speeder and asks to be taken to to Lord Wyhl.

"-because old friends at the Link wish to renew old ties and to let his Huttness know that Zara stood by the Hutts even till Rihn's unfortunate fall. To that end, she sends me to offer him anything his business may require and to serve his lordship in what ever fashion is needed as his loyal servant."

In that last part, Ganelon was taking a poetic exaggeration. The offer of service was put out there, but the Seneferian noble, besides being proud and cunning, also had his snake like nose honed in on the smell of opportunity and he sensed its resinous presence here, thick as tar in the air.

Astraal was so glad she wasn't like that scantily clad misfit that handed Alexander the message. Vos growled again, sending the blue skinned girl running back out of the room again, faster than she would normally have. The violet Twi'lek shook her head in disgust. She pocketed the comm. numbers of the others before leading Vos out of the room, the last of the trio to leave it.

Before she went far, she noticed the blue skinned humanoid being escorted into the Palace. Astraal questioned and found out from one of the guards what the being was doing there. She stepped towards him, holding the vornskr on a tight leash as she stopped a couple of paces from Ganelon.

"I hear you are to serve the great Lord Wyhl in any capacity... is that right?"

She wanted to double check the information she had gotten from the guards.

Ganelon upon gaining admission takes out a small cloth and wipes the sweat off his smooth, perspiring forehead. He hated the damned suns on this planet. His attention his drawn immediately by the Twi'lek approaching him. Several thoughts, most of them innappropriate enter his mind, a quarter of which almost seem destined for the tip of his tongue, at least until he sees the snarling vornskr held tightly on a leash. Being slightly sensitive to the force, though lacking any training, the beast's attenion fixes on him as it sense him, causing the ever-so-brave Seneferian to take a step back.

"That is correct... milady," he says, looking down at the beast as it glares at him before meeting Astraal, not in the eye, but a bit lower. "Miss Nargal sent me to let his Huttness know the old alliances are still on with the Link, and that my own services," he adds, "as well as any Lord Wyhl may require of the Link are at his disposal. To that end, I am suited as a businessman and diplomat having had years of experience in the field and offer myself to his lordship."

"My eyes are up here... get them up if you know what's good for you."

Green eyes narrowed as she saw where his gaze rested. If it was one thing Astraal hated was being seen as an object of pure lust. Not that she didn't dress the part though, her armor accentuating her deceptively dangerous figure. Her lekku twitched as she held Vos back.

"A diplomat for The Link eh? ... Lord Wyhl has retired for the moment. Are you seeking an audience with him or are you here to work?"

If he was a diplomat, maybe that could partially work in her favor... if she could tolerate his slimy err... scaled presence long enough for a mission...

Ganelon hastily razes his eyes, almost stuttering an answer of yes. He takes a moment to take a deep breath and compose himself, then gives his formal answer. "Yes to both of those questions, milady, though I would not disturb his Huttness overa mere message," he replies smoothly and with dignity. Ganelon's orange cat like eyes close for a second, making a note that there was more to this woman than met the eye and that did not solely include the growling beastie she kept on a leash. "The important thing though, is that his lordship at least receives the message and knows that the Link honors him enough to send one of their chief factors into his service. Beyond that, if there is any additional work, I am your man."

Her quick mind processed through a number of thoughts... maybe... just maybe. She brought out a piece of paper and jotted a couple of names on it.

"I need to get in touch with these people. Do you know any of them and would you be willing to help get them to meet with me?"

Astraal handed him the piece of paper containing the names.

Ganelon looks at the two names, staring at them, then at the snarling vornskr, then at the Twi'lek. "It would be with in my power to find and arrange a meeting with these two," he states, his voice just above a whisper, though there is an unusual hardness underneath. "Interesting choices here. Very interesting indeed. What business does Lord Wyhl have with these two, or do I even need to ask?" he ends on a dry note, his agile mind at work. "This might be tricky as I usually don't associate with their kind, but I should be able to arrange something... for a price of course."

Astraal allowed a sly smile to cross her features. "You may ask, but it is best that you don't know."

"For a price of course." Astraal agreed, her tone now business-like. "You would be well compensated for your services."

She glanced around the large room, signalling for one of the guards and telling him to pass on Ganelon's message to Lord Wyhl. That done she turned back towards the lizard-like man.

"My ship is ready to go. How soon can you leave and do you need anything before we go?"

Ganelon puts a brave face, giving a sardonic half smile. "The sooner we get off this sun-blasted rock, the better. If your organization can cover or abrogate my docking fees at Mos Eisley, I'm good to go."

Astraal gave a nod and signaled one of the guards again, telling them to take care of Ganelon's docking fees at Mos Eisley.

"Lets go then."

She gave a short tug of the leash, Vos standing and moving to her side as she sent a quick comm to her droid at her ship. Astraal led the way out of the main audience chamber and through to the hanger bay where her ship was. Once inside her ship, she pointed to the spare bunk room, letting him know that he'd be staying there.

She moved through to the main hold, letting Vos go into there for the time being. Usually the vornskr was free to roam around the freighter as he pleased, though with a 'guest' it was wiser to restrict his movements, despite the neural collar he wore.

In the cockpit, the droid had already prepped the ship, Astraal only having to get comfortable and lift off, which didn't take long to do. Dancer's Run skimming over the sands before pointing skyward, leaving the atmosphere and vanishing into the depths of hyperspace.

A holo-image comes in for lord Wyhl. A lone figure in shining white armor and a similarly colored trench coat projects himself, dropping to one knee as it presenting himself before the great Hutt in person.

Lord Wyhl, I am glad you have returned. I am acting as an imperiall emissary, charged with the duty of repopulating the garrison on Ryloth which arose because of past... misunderstandings... between the Empire and the Hutts. I offer assurances that what happened is a thing of the past and we look forward to once more doing business with your great organization. Even as the garrison nears completion, his majesty Geki is looking forward to making purchases of slaves for our factories and poisons and drugs to send to our enemies from you. While there is no need for a formal alliance unless you so wish it, know that we are as receptive as ever to your business.

Second, in my capacity as an agent of Black Sun, I bring you news that the council of Vigos has formally approved the alliance you made with Vigo Wartide. To that end, I foresee great profits in the near future, even with the Empire's hand aside.

Third, when I am able to move, free of my duties to the other powers whom I have pledged my services, know that my power is also at your command as an agent of the Hutts. As long as blood needs to be shed and your enemies need to be cowed, I am at your service.

In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed - but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

The doors from Wyhl's private abode swing open as he returns from his short isolation. A small droid comes to his side and hands him a holopad with the happenings of the past few days. An evil grin could be seen by all in the room as Wyhl read through the holopad.

Most excellent...

An encrypted message arrives for Lord Whyl:

The image of a large Dashade appears before the great Hutt,

"Lord Whyl, I am currently on Coruscant at the Last Call. I managed to recruit a young man to our cause before leaving Tatooine. He seems capable and willing, but I have not fully disclosed our plans to him. He will follow me. I sense no disloyalty, however, I will keep my eye on him."

"As for the hunt itself, I will not lie in telling you that it is going slow. Our prey seems to be in hiding currently. I feel that there are ways we could draw them out of hiding without creating too large of a disturbance, but for now I plan to try more subtle techniques. I am currently teaching the new recruit what he will need to know to be useful to us, and then we will be on our way to hopefully succeed at what you have commanded."

"If you have any suggestions or comments please contact me. Rodya out."

~~ A comm comes in for His almighty Wyhl the Hutt ~~

My Lord Wyhl. The hunt goes slowly. I am following up on rumors of a possible recruit on Coruscant and will meet with him soon. Ganelon of Seneferia is currently with me. I'm not sure if the guards passed on the message to you that he sent from the Link. He is currently working with them and they offer their support for your Greatness and hope that their old alliance is still valid.

If there is anything you require I am at your service.

Astraal out.

((OOC Contact the hutts with your bounty today. The Hutts are now under new management. MOD APPROVED!))

Koplak studied the palace that was to be his new home. It definately was going to need some renovation. Though Whyl had said he wasnt going on vacation for indefinate period of time, Koplak took this to mean it was his for the taking. The resources and workers stayed the same but new management was in play and that meant new leaders and more recruiting.

More guards began to show up and within several months....

Koplak the Hutt's Palace became the Largest on Tattoine, Nearly twice the size of Jabba's former palace this fortress stands above a Krayt Dragon mating area. The sounds of the giant reptillians screams can be heard throughout the night echoing in the quiet halls. That is, when the halls are actually quiet. Howling, hacking, screaching, and hoarse sounds of laughter emanate from the council chamber nearly 24/7. A sarlacc pit in the center of the chamber is the resting place for those who fail to entertain his highness...

Ganelon planned on presenting himself before the Hutt's grand council chamber is the tall, thin figure of Lord Ganelon Kaosheart of House Bozel, Lord of the house, and a Council member of Seneferia.

At least at one time, the above would have rang true. Ganelon had his name, a few possessions and bits of property he scraped together, and a sentence of exile on pain of death from his homeworld. Currently, following what was one of the biggest robberies in history, he found himself indebted to the Golden Link casino once his money washed away in foiled political schemes that earned him the aforementioned exile, drugs, women, and enough booze, that when lit, could defrost a star system.

Due to his engineering for the Link as a go-for, especially with seedy dealings, he ended up working for the Hutts from time to time, owning title to a shipyards bestowed by Rihn, their ex leader who ruled briefly while Wyhl was disposed elsewhere, and a bounty attempt on some Jedi that set off a long, frustrating chain of events that Ganelon refused to speak of to anyone.

The nobleman pruned his blue and purple coat, smoothed back his long, shoulder length green hair, and stared at himself in a pocket mirror with his orange, cat like eyes. He gave a faint smile, noticing his recent adventures at least toughened him up a bit- though still wiry and thin, he was not quite as soft as he used to and he admitted, his aim with his sporting blaster improved a five fold. Still not saying much, but...

Reaching the great Hutt's court, Ganelon spoke in the Hutt's own language, having had a time to practice. What he said came out as followed:

"Your greatness. I am Lord Ganelon of House Bozel from the world of Seneferia. I have served your predicessors in my capacity as a laison and informer and in the interest of serving the Hutts again, I am offering up my services once more. Furthermore," he adds, adding a carrot to his offer, "I can be of material assistance as well to your organization, owning properties off Nar Shaada. If there is anything you need, my services are yours."

The Council Chamber went silent for several minutes before the Hutt spoke. Fairly impressed with mans demeanor but more than familiar with his history he thought for several seconds before speaking. For a Hutt this was an inordinately long period of time to make a decision.

"Your skills could be of use to me. Provided you complete these tasks in the time I set for you, you may be rewarded." The Hutts voice echoed through the chambers of the Palace. His translator driod translated accordingly though to what purpose the Hutt wasnt sure. He was beginning to get annoyed with this one.

"He told a figure to his left to see to the details of giving this man his mission."

OOC: I will PM you with your task.

Ganelon listens, his orange eyes fixed on the man telling him his mission. When it is said and done, he gives a faint smile. Easy enough... Still holding onto that faint, smug half smirk, Ganelon bows.

"It shall be done, your lordship."

With that, the nobleman takes his leave, setting off for Coruscant.
