Zara secretly grinned. She knew she was getting at him but she just couldn't help herself. She refocused on the dummy, focusing fully on moving it, on shoving it into the wall. She briefly thought of one of the spells but put that out of her mind, she'd do it his way.

She gathered the energies to her that seemed to be flowing around the room, feeling them flow through her body. In her mind she pictured what she had to do. She gestured with her hand outstretched, palm up as if she were shoving the dummy backwards. As she did this she pushed hard at the dummy. She heard a satisfactory thwack as the dummy collided with something...

Opening her eyes she took in what it hit...

"Oops"

He leaned back as soon as he felt her push the dummy over with a significant amount of Force, perhaps a bit too much. Eyes stayed glued to where the dummy traveled now uplifted airborne, surfacing through the air on its back before colliding dead into the training room wall. It shook for a moment before sliding slowly downward..

As it's rear hit the floor, one of the mounted expensive monitors that continously looped the video footage of different lightsaber forms tumbled down from the shelves by the impact. The square monitor tumbled and clashed with a thud, sparks flying everywhich way ontop the dummy's head. The head pierced through the screen, wearing the shattered monitor frame like it was a necklace..

Now he couldn't resist bringing his hand up to his forehead, shaking his head left to right a few times.. "Smooth, Zara.. Real smooth.."

He'd release a sigh of relief, making a quick wish under his breathe to ask the Force to give him enough will power to put up with these antics furthur, while secretly, like her, he was grinning the entire time..

She cringed at the damage, making a mental note to have guards installed infront of each monitor. A groan escaped her lips as she shook her head,

"Oops... err... that wasn't supposed to happen."

At his words she put her hands on her hips glaring at him also making a mental note that he was going to be the next target, not the monitors.

"Well, before we tear apart this whole facility, maybe I can teach the opposite of what you just learned.."

He'd comment with his grin a tad more evident while head still hung off to the side, now pacing about with his arms held behind his back..

"..Instead of pushing out a desired target, focus your energy around it and bring it towards you. It's not necessarily about bringing just the object itself to you.. If you concentrate on the Force in and around the object coming towards you, so will it follow the will of the Force. This aspect helps a Jedi recover lost items, pulling your allies to safety and even perhaps your enemies into harm's way.."

While he spoke, his left hand gestured the motion; opening his outstretched palm t curl back to his side, then draw around behind his back to held at the wrist by his other hand.

"Now.. I'd like for you to take any object you see along the walls. Just make sure it's not too expense now, shall we?"

This time, he could not resist a good chuckle, promptly winking at her as his body passed by her and proceeded to walk off to the side, allowing her all the room she needed to tear down the entire wall piece by piece..

"Ohhh you!"

Zara huffed, turning her back to him. Mentally she reviewed what was on the walls, making sure that she didn't pick anything that would damage anything else. A secret smirk appeared on her face as she remembered where one of the elbow pads were. She reached with her mind for it, pulling it towards her easier than she had pushed the dummy from her.

She heard a grunt as it did hit her intended target and she snickered.

"Gotcha!"

She had purposely chosen something soft this time but still. Mischief shone in her eyes as several more elbow and knee pads launched themselves at Sabian.

There seemed to be no bit of frustration in her voice, sounding more playful to him. This only deepened his chuckling into almost full on laughter as he spread open wide his lips, allowing him to make some laughing noises that were soon muffled by his hand, not wishing to interrupt the pratice once again.

He knew the process of pushing was not far from pulling, but was relatively surprised at which speed she tended to grasp the technique. He was so worked up by his last comment that he failed to recognize the oncoming elbow pad, patting him flat on the rear, to which he responded by immediately raising his eyebrows and look back at her..

"A tad bit suggestive, don't you think?.."

Now he was cracking himself up, holding onto his stomache with one hand and turning his back around, not really wanting him to laugh at her in such a way, but couldn't help it. The idea was all too good in his mind, putting that sense of professionalism aside for the time being.

This time, he began to sense the other pads, bringing one hand out and haulting their process from coming towards him any more. With the motion, he turned his head to her with a wide smirk upon his face..

"Oh really?.. Two can play at this. Take this."

He made a feint with the pads he haulted, fingers lightly being thrusted forward as he produced the training wear that was aimed for him to divert straight for Zara. Anticipating on her to push them away or dodge the impact, he concentrated simultaneously with the bamboo staff she left behind from her earlier training. He sent it levitating from behind her and brought it towards her with the same flickering motion, the broad side of the stick meeting with her rear as well with the same force that was applied to him.

"Hah.." He'd exclaim, arms curling over his chest as he began to continually laugh at the ridiculous displays of the Force they did, writing it off in his mind as 'more pratice'. Their Jedi ancestors would be most embarrassed to see the knowledge of Force displayed in such juvenile ways..

As the pole connected with her rear she twisted, dodging the pads with a quick dive and roll, coming up to her feet and snatching at the bamboo pole, taking hold of it on one end and using it as a bat to hit the other pads back at him. She was determined though, splitting her focus to fling pads back at him, trying to catch them off him and aim them back. Another grin appeared on her face as again she triggered the water. This time instead of using a cup as such, she was creative. She "made" a cup with the force, guiding the water over Sabian's head. Once there, she released the hold of the force 'cup', dousing him with water again.

Now she did laugh.

Fool me once, shame on you. But fool me twice, shame on me, as the phrase would go. And it would seem he was to be ashamed, for not only did he not concentrate once again upon the first glass of water dunked upon his head, he neglected the very second time it was done, his hair and shirt now soaked once more then it already was.

Shoulders immediately tensed up as he set himself back a couple feet, letting the cool water drip back down. Instead of reacting out of frustration, he let it all out by laughing once more, far deeper then before, to the point where his mouth was gaped open wide, pearly white rows of teeth showing for once.

"Hahaha," The man would continue on, brushing with either hand to get some of the damp water off from his hair with a quick shake of his head side to side.

As the other pads were sent back at him, by his laughing, he almost missed them; this time generously stepping off to the side while still holding one side of his stomache as they began to playfully fight back and forth with the Force.

"Enough, enough," Sabian began, still some chuckling heard as he uttered the two words, but he was significantly calming back down, "You win, you win. I am defeated.."

One hand would be posed in the air, palm revealed straight up like he was surrendering, while at the same time he indirectly concentrated on the water left in the air and on the ground from before. It trickled along the floor, molding and gathering behind her back as a signifcant puddle formed. Then, the puddle would gradually move it's way up into the air and settle right over her head..

"..Or am I?" It was at this moment he gave a great big smile, turning his back around as the water now released ontop of her head this time.

This was just getting better and better, enjoying the down time they now shared in loosening up. He tended to reflect back into his Master's own teaching methods, how more stern and upfront he was about everything, but he could always get him to smile; seeing much of his old former self in her mischevious attitude towards him..

No sooner had she gotten down to work than her comm buzzed. Shrugging, she checked it. After listening to the secretary and assuring her that she would be there shortly, Brina raced up to her quarters and changed into cleaner, nicer, clothes. If it was business, then she would represent the Link well. She redid her hair, and washed the grime off of her hands. Then she made her way down to the main desk.

Straitening her posture, the red-head entered the room and greeted the customer. "Welcome back to the Golden Link Casino, Lord Trowa. I am Brina Thalin," she said, introducing herself. "What can I do for you?"

She was suspicious that he was 'defeated' so easily but didn't expect what he did do. Zara gasped as the cold water hit her, shivering as it ran down her back. She couldn't help but laugh though, he'd gotten her back. She flicked water off her, hooking a stray blonde strand behind her ear. She took a moment to compose herself before looking back at him.

She was now sitting down on the mats. Her warrior garb was designed to dry quickly, what with the 'weather' battles the clans had on Dathomir against the Nightsisters, it had to. She grinned, keeping in mind another lesson from her tutor back 'home'. She wasn't well versed enough to do the full scale cyclone, which she didn't want in here anyway, but she had taped the force and created a gale when she'd walked out on Kheldar in a huff. Now she consciously said the spell for creating a wind, only keeping it minimal so that their clothing would dry. She grinned at him as the wind picked up around them.

Having not delved into the experiences upon Dathomir alot, knowing to some degree you might should have, but wanted to respect her privacy. It was interesting enough to see the spell come into play, what manner it manifested into the gust of wind that even he could feel from a distance away. Now he began to turn back around, arms folded over once more as usual..

"Well, now.." The young Jedi Knight began to scratch the underside of his chin, while one eyebrow peeked up, "Certainly a new a trait, a wind spell of some sorts. You seem to surprise me every time we meet up.."

The whole uplifting moment they had between the fun excersize made began to make his heart feel heavy, knowing how she felt towards him and visa versa. Each time this feeling happened, he had to lean on the Jedi philosophy for support, letting go time and time again and remaining professional about their training while an inner feeling deep inside himself kept him from truely becoming that way; Love..

Head drifted off to the side, recollecting himself from that brief moment of relapse to fall back into the present, a great deal drier then he was before.

"In light of all of this, I think this would be a great time to begin one final aspect of the physical presence the Force can enlighten upon a Jedi. You have expressed it in many ways through the motions of your hands; now I'd like for you to act with your entire body, letting the Force flow and enhance every fiber of your being.. specifically in your legs."

Thighs leaned left and right onto his ankles as he slowly began to prepare for their next excersize, that grin before lowering back from that brief thought he had before. "When your ready, I'd like for you to use all your energy and try and catch me like before.. a gentle tap is all you need to do in order to complete the task. Just be careful of where.."

He'd slowly hint on what she did to him earlier, almost laughing again at the thought as his mind sank into the inner workings of the Force. Everything down through his fingertips and toes were heightened, a sense of vigorous energy coursing through him as he made the next few steps to running backwards..

"A game of 'tag' now then?"

Zara prefered to keep it lighthearted. She felt the simmering emotions from him that if he hadn't of bonded to her she wouldn't have felt. The more training they did the stronger she felt. That she was caught in a triangle with two powerful men hadn't happened to her before. She loved Ronin with all of her being, but somehow she felt something for the man in front of her. She certainly didn't want to see him die. She shrugged it off, not wanting to think about any of that.

She called the force to her, finding it easier to feel it now, much easier to use. She began to sprint after him around the training room, a blush colouring her cheeks at his comment with regards to where she had tapped him last time. It had been an accident tapping him there, and even with the reminder, she could feel the undercurrents between them. She refused to give in to them though, keeping a firm image of Ronin in her mind as she went about her current task. Zara almost managed to tune out of that line of thought as she caught him, tapping him, then performing an acrobatic flip and running off in the other direction.

The excersize did not last then but a few minutes, these last 'games' were more pratice then actual tests themselves of her limit, forcing to keep in touch with that of the Force over and over without necessarily feeling that it way. The young man did manage to evade quite a few attempts before a soft tap was felt on his shoulder as his neck gave way from the motion.

Heels turned back on an angle, haultering his form as the cloak wrapped around him by the sheer momentum. "It would seem very obvious then.."

He'd let his voice linger, allowing her the thought of what the next part of what he was to say before he said it. "..Our time for games and pratices are over. I am fully confident that you are ready for the final steps of a Jedi's training.. One of the most crucial and demanding tasks you have ever done up to this point in your life."

Just like that, his tone turned away from the seriousness to a far more gentle manner, "Not to say that I don't have confidence in that you have what it takes to do this, not at all. I am very proud that you have made it this far, and so fast; your skills honed on Dathomir defintly helping your attunement to the Force."

Boots began to slide across the ground gently again, coming closer to her as he began to speak far more quietly, very deeply to her. "That dream you had of the cave on Dathomir, the crystal mentioned before.. I refrained from speaking about it until now, knowing that you are fully ready to accept what I am to say.."

Once again, he'd leave her curious mind guessing as he turned away once more, back facing towards her as he spoke out into the air solemnly.. "Somewhere within your new outfit, you will find that which you have searched for in that cave. During my time observing you, I have seen through it.. and it is good."

It was at this point he turned around, displaying with open hands his own dormant weapon that shown before them just as she revealed the crystal in her trembling hands..

"Deep inside every lightsaber is the heart of a crystal. This crystal is used as a conduct for the Force's will, shaping and bonding it with metal to define its shape and give you strength. Now, the hardship process is very taxing and takes a great deal of concentration and will power to manifest. The lightsaber is the reflection of a Jedi's very soul, the weapon one with their own body, spirit, and mind.."

There was a pause in his speech, continuing on after he felt the words sink deep into her mind before beginning again.. "It is also very symbolic to that of an apprentice's training.. After you have completed this task, you will have gained a far greater knowledge of the Force that you have previously imagined.. and have my complete trust forever."

Hands rubbed together, breathing in deeply, for his words were very pacted with a sense of pride and feeling that seemed to affect them both.

"Now, I shall leave you in peace.. This task you must do alone, just as I have and our Jedi ancestors before our time. All the materials you will need you will find in this room. Remember all that I have taught you.. May the Force be with you, my apprentice.."

With that, he did not leave her any room to comment or question, quickly proceeding out the door and roaming the lower levels of the Link Casino with hood drawn over his face, his signature now completly disappearing from the stream of the everliving Force..

As he spoke, Zara's hand was guided to one of the utility pockets within her warriors garb. She hadn't recalled putting a crystal there, but she did recall the moment when her hand had touched the crystal embedded in the wall of the cave, her hand had slid over a couple of crystals there. It had been when she had felt Sabian in battle on Coruscant. She now looked closely at the silver crystal in her hands, turning it over again.

She watched him go, feeling him cut off from her again. She shook herself of the feeling, glancing again at the crystal. A hand went up to rub her forehead slightly before she turned to look around the room, letting herself be guided by the force towards various items around the walls. Her other hand slipped into another of her pockets, retrieving something else from within them, noting a pale golden coloured crystal there as well. Silver and gold... both my eye colour and Ronin's... that's got to be a sign. Zara moved around the room, collecting various parts, lenses, emitter matrix, switches both safety and otherwise, belt hooks, powercells, power conduit, blade length adjuster, and a recharge socket. Lastly she looked for something to use as a hilt.

She moved through into another room, admiring the workmanship that had gone into the rooms and making a mental note to praise the workers for their good work. She found something she could use as a hilt, something that would be easily manipulated with abit of heat into a double hilt. She moved into a workroom that had a small furnace and began heating her hilt, manipulating it to become a double hilt. She took her time, softening the metal, using her touch of the force to gently carve in symbols marking it as a Dathomir witches weapon. She also put the symbol of a pirate on it.

He made minimal movement throughout the hallway, taking precuation as he descended by lift back down towards the lower gambling areas. The signature he professed was already well deminished ever since he set himself outside the training room, but felt the need to get some air. Proceeding out from the lift and into one of the many private cabins, the young Jedi Knight made his presence known only to the those who tended the area, asking for a few things before settling back in his seat.

As many thoughts as he had, Sabian would concentrate on neither of them, trying to keep his mind blank as possible while without the presence of the Force. The feeling was still unsettling, no matter how many times he made the transition. He felt more human, more man, desires less in check, especially in this kind of atmosphere. It must of been why the Casino business was so alluring to those with nothing.

A couple minutes passed as the things that he asked for were brought to the table. A steaming pitcher of hot water, a couple tea packets, and a spherical shaped hucca. One hand immediately raised in thanks as his other poured the water into the packets that laid on the bottom of the cup, letting it simmer and absorb the fine ground materials. While this happened, he placed the lip of the hucca line and placed it inbetween his, instantly breathing deep of the billowing smoke inside and exhaling; instantly feeling the effects of furthur relaxation as he continued the process..

Zara looked over carefully the finished hilt, it's carvings of her heritage, of the Pirates and the Link organisation and smiled. She had embedded a cobolt blue colour in an intricate pattern about the hilt as well, giving it even more originality. She carefully fitted the other parts, putting two belt loops, one either end as well as carefully inserting her crystals, taking care to fit them so that they were held securely and weren't going to jar or shift. She took her time with it's construction, making sure that every part of it was done with special care. She immersed herself in the force, feeling out each wire, each connection, each switch, so that only she could activate it through the force. It was fully attuned to her signature. She did have an external switch, hidden beneath an activation plate. She would just need to flick it up to activate it if she was someplace where she couldn't access the force.

Once she had completed it, she stood back from the bench, holding her saber out from her body and activated each end of it. First the silver end sprang to life, then the golden end, it's pale glow giving off a gentle light with a soft hum. She felt a strange tingling sensation go through her body as she began to move with the double bladed saber, testing it's blades, letting her body move in tune with it. Zara had a satisfied smile on her face, now that she had completed it. She felt good, she felt in tune with the Force and she felt it's power running through her veins. She shut it down, placing the saber onto her belt loop. It wouldn't matter which way the saber hilt was, she could connect the long hilt to her belt from either end.

She left the Force enviroment then, feeling it fade from her and feeling a strange loss as she headed through the casino proper and back up to her penthouse to Ronin and the children. She knew she had taken alot longer than she had anticipated when she had left them, though her skills were now honned. She hoped that Ronin wouldn't mind. She did still have to tell him about what happened between she and Sabian and she definately wasn't looking forward to that.

Entering the penthouse she smiled at the twins, one of them riding around on Rascal's back, the big black cat a marvel with the kids. Her eyes then sought Ronin.

"I'm sorry I took so long love... there was something I had to do while I was down there..."

Her voice trailed off...

Trowa took in the red heads appearance using what little sight he had regained since his little outing with the insolent Sith Lord he had trained. She looked good, but he had other business to attend to and even if he didn't he would have probably of gotten himself wasted rather then do anything else. He reached into his pocket slowly, pulling out a data-pad.

"I've a very big order for the link. On this data-pad is the exact specifications of a compound, the location of the planet and where it is to be built upon the planet, and a bank account. The account holds the first half of the payment. I've other things to attend to, contact me if you've questions."

With that he turned to leave, motioning for Anoon to follow him. It was time to start the next portion of his training, after that he would seek out the other two and decide which of them got their training next, patience is important and they would have to learn it when dealing with Their Master. A few minutes later the pair entered hyperspace...

Duo's light freighter dropped out of hyper space before the looming Golden Link Casino. He was supposed to be here to find out information and infiltrate the link, since none of his records of being in the Black Sun existed anymore thanks to him, but he had other plans. The BlackSun was just not interesting enough to keep him there and the fact that he heard rumors of pirates at the link heavily influenced his decision to come here.

A few minutes later he moved through the guards, reluctantly leaving his weapons with them, but not taking off his suit. He quietly moved through the area, hiding the suit with a large cloak as to not offset any of the others inside. It didn't take long for him to find a desk, after approaching it he spoke and the suit altered his voice into a cold metallic sound.

"I'm looking for a job..."

Brina did not miss the look of wistful lust that crossed the man's face. She knew that look from a mile away, since it had been ever present in her last job. But she also knew how to deal with it, and as a result, there wasn't a flicker of emotion to be found in her manner.

She took the outstretched datapad, and looked the project over. It was large indeed, and she knew that this would be good for the Link. "Thank you sir. Everything will be executed as you wish. Please come again."

He turned away and disappeared then, and no sooner did he leave when the receptionist spoke to her. "Miss Thalin? I have a message from the employment desk saying that a man has just arrived asking for a job."

Brina paused. Normally, she would have contacted Zara and let her handle it, but she did not want to interrupt the woman's precious time with her family, or whatever she was doing at the moment, and she knew that Kat would still be out of commission. "Tell the desk that I will be down shortly."

The red-head walked down to the other desk to find a man in a strange suit waiting there. "Hello," she greeted him. "I'm Brina Thalin. I've been told you are looking for a job? What kind of job are you applying for?"

"Yeah... Had to make a stop at the lightsaber store, right?"

Ronin put Kalyani down on the floor near Kane, not knowing what else to do with the children. His comment was a touch bitter, becoming more and more concerned. He couldn't ignore it much more.

"You can't hide things from me, and the lightsaber wasn't exactly subtle. Sabian is here, and you said that he was teaching you, so it would not be a big jump to assume that if you leave and show up with a lightsaber, you have been with him. Learning. But something strikes me as odd."

Ronin adjusted the sunglasses which he had recently procured, still a bit uncomfortable with their calibration. His usually calm voice seemed to be on the edge of something volatile.

"You haven't been forthright. The circumstances are a bit odd, but not something that you'd normally need to hide. You're acting guilty, and it's not becoming of you."

The pirate moved closer too her now, his reflective sunglasses staring down at her a cold detachment and the promise of a hidden glower.

"What are you hiding?"

It was the moment she was dreading... but how to tell him? She looked back at him, wanting him to know that she loved him with every fibre of her being.

"I do need to tell you something."

Her hand went to her face, the scar there from Ganelon's toxins. She broke eye contact with him and watched the twins on the floor for a moment before she began speaking again. The memories were painful for a number of reasons. Not only had they been robbed, she had been injured, her pride wounded but she had inadvertantly betrayed her love and that hurt the most, even if it hadn't been her fault.

"During the heist... Both Brina and I were hit with Ganelon's tongue, those toxins that paralyze. That's where I got this scar." She sighed, but continued, "Sabian tried to protect both of us and was injured himself. Bekka... she dragged me out of Ganelon's ship while I was unconscious - something about not wanting a kidnapping charge ontop of the rest. Bekka gave Sabian a bottle of pills, expecting him only to take one but the stupid jedi took half a dozen of them. They relieved his pain, but they also had a side effect." She paused again, the 'side effect' obvious by her tone,

"There was nothing I could do... I was paralysed, injured from concussion and flash grenades, burnt and in pain. Bekka gave me something to ease the pain, to relax me. He... he carried me off, had someone carry Brina as well... and..."

She winced, but had to tell Ronin the rest...

"I don't know how it happened, somehow he created a bond with me... when he healed my injuries. He somehow transfered the effects of the drugs to me, then he... took advantage of me."

She looked down at the floor, a tear of remorse escaping her eye before looking back at him, meeting Ronin's smoldering gaze, pleading with him to be understanding, to know that she loved only him and would do anything to take back what had happened...

The tea grew cold, as did he. It seemed to freeze overtime in his grasp, the once teeming life fading away in the grip of his one hand. All he had done for the past few minutes was watch it slowly simmer down until his fingertips no longer felt hot underneath the porcelian slope. It felt heavier, the color fading away into a visable dull grey form.

Somberly his arm would lower it down, elbow bending as the bottom to be met the table once more. The hucca had been long since turned from its bellowing energy, smoke drifitng away and being placed off away from the table that he sat, only sitting alone with the tea glass. Blue eyes starred into its depths of its containments furthur, taking all that he saw before, knowing what was to come.

He was not a man to break his promises. The young Jedi Knight and Admiral had made a vow to be here, for her above all else. The time was drawing close, even without the presence of the Force, it still ached inside his chest. He knew.

It was at this time that he lowered his hood, exposing his face to the cameras and any commoner that happened to take a stroll around the station that he sat at..

"Out of my way."

Ronin's face remained expressionless as he abruptly pushed her out of his way, gliding straight for the front door and embedding his fist in the door opener. Pieces of shattered plexiglass hit the floor as the pirate disappeared from sight, quickly moving into the hall and hitting the lift. He stopped briefly to talk to the elevator guard, sure that he could not hear Zara's pursuit.

"There's a man in the Casino, probably wearing Jedi Robes. He is suspected of cheating and possibly scheming to rob the Casino. Assume he's armed and dangerous. Make sure he doesn't leave the complex, and keep this on the absolute lowest level. He may have contacts inside, and we don't want to tip him off."

The elevator guard nodded, knowing full well Ronin's standing within the Casino. He didn't mention that his contacts might include the Nargals themselves, but he figured it'd at least give him more time before it'd get back to them. Ronin punched the elevator panel as the guard got on the comm, reaching in his coat to withdraw his own. But a few seconds later, as his elevator drew near to the lobby, his comm activated, delivering a message from the staff.

"Suspect spotted in the casino. Appears to be smoking a bong... Pursue?"

Ronin felt like he should have been satisfied with the ploy, but he couldn't. His mind was overwhelmed with an indecipherable flood of violence and anger. That he could speak with coherence was an accomplishment in itself.

"Hold your distance. If he moves, pin him down. I will be there shortly to handle him."

Ronin hit the emergency override, seeing that others had called to use the elevator, then changed the destination from the lobby to the Casino. When the door opened his stomped out, pushing elevator bound patrons out of his way as he followed the trail of men in black suits actively attempting to look inconspicuous, and doing a piss poor job.

When he finally reached Sabian his heart froze with malice. He couldn't think. All he could do was draw a gun and aim it at Sabian's head, then utter a simple question.

"How... Dare... You?"

Zara's face was drained of colour and wet with tears as she watched him storm out, after having picked herself up from his shove. She took a few steps after him when the twins cried out, both of them frightened of how angry their father had been. She was torn, she wanted to go after him, yet she had the twins to take care of. She scooped up both twins, one in either arm and sat on the lounge, struggling not to weep as she cuddled both children, soothing them. She also had to get someone to fix the door now that he'd rammed his fist into it. She was concerned that he had done damage to his hand but with how angry Ronin was, he wouldn't feel it if he had.

"It's alright babies... Daddy still loves you... he's not mad at you..." No... he's just mad at me... and at Sabian...

After a while, when the twins had stopped crying and had been soothed, she got up from the lounge, placing them into the double-hover pram and with Rascal in tow, went down to find where he went... if he was still in the Casino. The guards didn't seem to be able to tell her which way he'd gone, only that he'd gone after an 'intruder'... I know...

She headed down to find Brina... maybe she'd seen them? Zara wasn't thinking straight, she needed to find Ronin before he did something he'd regret, yet she didn't want the twins to see what was going on between their parents. Maybe Brina could look after them while Zara went to try and stop the inevitable confrontation.

It was all too expected. The false claim of acts commited against the Link, the outburst, everything that he had seen long before in his meditation fell right in line. The rights to the future were not his to change alone, merely to challenge the very fabrication of what he saw to be interpreted and prepared fully with what was to be reality.

It was how the mind of a Jedi worked. Even if one is to see his own death, he will not act out of fear for his own life to change it, rather embracing the Force's wishes of him. He would not run from this nor would he fight back. The man humbly sat in his chair, drinking the cold tea, and just waited..

Convenantly, as the barrel of the gun was poised to his head, a waitress was already in the process of bringing in a hot batch of tea to replace his old, only noticing the gun when she was mere inches from lowering the drink. She was even going to explain the wait upon noticing the seriousness of the situation, her eyes lighting up in fear. Her arms trembeled as the tea kettle was set down hard, two cups as requested in either hand being lowered slowly onto the table before she ran off in a hurry.

No one was going to save him, not even the Force. It was his will to do this, to be here at this period of time,.. for her sake.

"Please.." He acted as if there was no gun to his head, not even looking up from his continous blank stare onwards out into the distance as he stated the formality so calm, so collected to the other man, "..Have a seat."

Without another word, he poured the two new glasses with a generous helping of hot tea, setting the one farthest away from he to be placed on the other side of the table before he brought up his own glass between two clutched palms. Eyes lowered as he sipped a small portion of hot liquid through pressed lips, gently letting the porcelian made material slide back down with the same smooth motion of his arms bending down..

"I assume you're here to talk more then to kill me in cold blood.. If you were so bent on pulling that trigger, you already would have done so by now.."

It was only at the end of his sentence that he did finally raise both his eyes up to meet the dark haired man's, his eyes so empty and cold, filled with hate.

"Now, please.." He calmly raised the opposite side of his arm to wave over the other side of the table as he implored him to sit, "Sit.. There is much to discuss."

Brina sighed. The man was either asleep, or indecisive, and she really did not care which. Trying to keep her temper in check, and her voice impassive, she said, "I can see that you are still unsure. If you decide that you would like a job after all, please speak with the secretary here and set up a time to interview."

With that, she made her exit. Rubbing her temples, she decided that it was a really good thing she had not decided to go into diplomacy. As she walked down the halls, she almost ran into Zara, pushing a hover-stroller carrying her twins at full speed, her big cat in tow. Once look at Zara, and Brina got a very bad feeling that she knew exactly what had happened.

"Zara...what is it? Are you alright?" Brina asked, although the question was more instinctual.

"I... I need to find Ronin... can you... look after the twins for me?"

Her expression said it all, the haunted look in her eyes that said that Ronin knew what had happened, that she had told him, also that she didn't want Sabian's life to be ended. And that she didn't want the twins to be introduced to that level of violence so soon in their young lives.

"I had to tell him... but I don't want Sabian killed... have you seen them? Sabian didn't leave... he's still here somewhere. Ronin will kill him, I just know he will"

What she didn't say was that she'd know if he got killed. Just as she had been effected previously by Ronin's injuries she would be by Sabian's as well. When Ronin had lost his leg almost, she'd felt it and so had Kat through her. She would hate to think what would happen if one of them were killed, not with her connections to both men.

"Can you help, Brina?"

"I've had enough already!"

Ronin's wrist snapped briefly, moving his aim from Sabian's head to his feet. A single bullet ripped through Sabian's boot before the aim returned to his face.

"I've had it with your Jedi condescension, and your emotionless ignorance of reality! You think by ignoring what's around you that you are somehow more in touch with it? All you're doing is shutting off your mind and letting the dogmatic rhetoric the Jedi drilled into your brain take effect. You're not getting harmony, you're getting removed!"

The Pirate took a slow step forward, his finger pulling on the trigger to a point dangerously close to firing.

"I hesitated because I wanted answers from you, and like a true Jedi you ignore what I say in favor of some kind of 'Father knows best' control scenario, instead of begging for mercy like anyone who could imagine the terrible nightmarish things running through my mind should!"

A grimancing look came upon his face as his leg instinctively withdrew back from the blow, piercing flesh and exiting behind the sole of the boot. Eyes drew close as his other hand flattened agains the floor, with holding any emotions that may come direct of the pain's effect. Yet, through this, he still managed to take another sip of the tea, returning to Ronin with eyes now shut..

"You purely-- just don't understand, do you?.."

Arms pressed against the side of the table as the last of the steaming hot tea was finished, the cup lowered down. He would bow his head up to stand on one leg, balancing himself as he propped himself upright, fearless eyes meeting the short distance between his.

"I did not come here to beg for my own life.. I came to pleed for the life of another. Of Zara's. Of your word of her protection through all this, that no harm come onto her or the kids."

There was a brief moment of silence before he began once more in a more emotional tone..

"..I tried to save you that night on Coruscant, to the best of my aibility at the time.. Everything told me not to return, but I did, somehow. Just to not see an innocent life being killed again.. I fought for your life that day when I never had to. Do you remember?.."

The young man's words became more stern and focused, while still in that calm like manner even with the flesh wound.

"..I will not fight you, Mr. Wartide, nor will I act against the Link in any way, shape, or form.. But I will respect your wishes if you ask of me to leave.."

With that, he lowered his eyes, folded his arms in his cloak, and waited, staying completly neutral and silent through what was to come. In this moment of quiet contemplation, he thought to himself of all that he said, how true and deep they were.

He would not run this time in the face of danger, but he would not give into the angry energies that he could feel exhausting from his entire body..
