OOC: No, the rules clearly state one week.

Capital Ships- 1 week to make, 5 days to rebuild

Factory Standard Personal Ships- 4 days to make, 3 days to rebuild

Modified Personal Ships- 1 week to make, 3 days to rebuild

Super Class Capital Ships- 2 weeks to make, 10 days to rebuild

I also doubt that over half of the squadron could survive when one SD has at least 20 turbolasers, but whatever. And let the record reflect that the until my SSD is built, I am only constructing Imperial-II class Star Destroyers.

IC: In light of the new attack by the Rebels, the Nazareth set a course for the Imperial base, but not before finishing of the recon ship, blowing it into galactic dust. On the surface, Imperials began the construction a fail-safe EMP, using technology that was supplied to them by the Emperor. The Nazareth entered hyperspace...

OOC: At the same time, Chrissie's

With a blink of motion too fast to catch with the naked eye, three Alliance ships exited hyperspace. The one at the lead was a massive SSD-sized Star Defender cruiser, the Hope's Battle. It was bristling with turbolasters, ion cannons, and shield generators.

It was escorted by two MC90a's, the Regenesis and the Justice's Gauntlet, each more than a match for the lone Star Destroyer, which was still extremely close to the hyperspace entry point. As it was, all three ships immediately opened fire on the Imperial ship, and its shields flickered after only seconds of the devestating barrage.

Mere seconds later, the ship was reduced to a burning, mangled hulk of metal, arcs of electricity traveling its length and tiny fires visible along its gaping wounds.

In case it managed to scramble a few TIEs, hundreds of E-wings, X-wings, A-wings, and B-wings poured from the hangars of the three Alliance ships. They were assigned attack groups and already several started heading to knock out the small amount of additional defenses ((talked to Jeremy about that one)).

A flight group of B-wings headed for the shipyard itself, arming Ion cannons to disable and another flight of E-wings went after the half-completed Star Destroyer still in the shipyard dock.

Onderin Starlisk, Admiral of the fleet and Jedi Knight, stood aboard the bridge of the Hope's Battle and watched emotionlessly. He would not feel triumph, he would simply do what needed to be done, and he knew better than to underestimate the Empire.

Knowing that the people of Kuat were extremely loyal to the Empire, Onderin ordered several squadrons of A-wings to scour the surface of the planet, looking for weapons emplacements or uprisings.

OOC: Now, HJP. I know you like to god-mode, but I've done my homework on this one. And, btw, a Star Destroyer has 60 turbolasers, 60 Ion cannons, and 12 tractor beam projecters...and no missiles.

- With a quick glimmer of light, the E-Wing piloted by the young Jedi Padawan, Sabian Devanus, came into Kuat's orbit from hyperspace. The ship came into the planet's skyline at tremendous speeds after exiting hyperspace travel. The sleek design of the streamlined astromech interface complimented the speeds of the advanced E-Wing, allowing the heavy armored structure to reach speeds that rivaled that of the other A-Wing squadrons. -

- As he descended down into the skies, a fleet of E-Wings formed around him, a communication link being sent via his inflight pilot scope, reading loud and clear in his helmet. -

E-Wing Group Leader: "E-Wing #38725, reduce thrusters and lock flight paths with our positions. We are three minutes from descending upon the factory line systems of Kuat and knocking out any structures. Keep fire off us as we run the surface, is that clear, '25?"

- A white glove pressed gently against the side of his eye, bringing the side of the grey helmet to lean into his ear. The pilot helmet fitted an average adult head structure, and being only fifteen years of age, it was quite bulky and tended to shift around during turbulance. Never the less, he didn't let it bother him, for he tightened the chin strap hard enough so that it didn't tetter around too much. -

"Aye, sir. I shall follow your lead."

- Either eye closed after he spoke, turning a few switches to follow their paths down near the surface. It would be a few minutes before they reached the target. During this time, he centered himself amoungst the clouds and found a brief moment to relax and concentrate his thoughts upon the moment.. -

~ ..All his teachings before this moment, the trust he has been generously given by his Master and fellow Rebel comrades, all would be put on the line. He had this moment and this moment only to prove his worth, to make a difference in the world and impact people's lives for the greater good. The boy was so pure hearted and innocent, his intentions were to only serve for the purpose of peace and pleasing his Master. ~

- As he concentrated on these feelings, the familiar feeling of the Force came through his self. His mind and body were submerged within a vibrant green energy that complimented his surrondings, flowing in and out in complex of patterns, spreading and filling each gap of matter in the entire area. The boy's boys mind melted with this feeling, quickly traveling along the channels of the Force, and feeling a sense of connection with every living thing. -

- Both eyes would remain closed, allowing his hands to merely push and pull lightly against the steering apartius of the E-Wing, all his motions controlled by the living Force. The time to act was upon them, as the skies cleared and the building foundations that made up the Imperial Fleet's assembly lines came into full. The fleet, comprised of fourteen including the young boy, formed a "V" formation as they descended down near the surface. The intense geforces matched with the high wind pressure held them in line, causing low volumes of turblance, since the ships were calliberated to withstand such pressures. -

- As nine E-Wings stayed in the "V" formation, five other E-Wings including himself broke off and tackled the minor influx of TIE fighters guarding the area. The young boy opened his eyes to the event, the vibrant green energy he saw all his surrondings came into focus. Two fighters came up behind him, side by side, and fired numerous volleys of lasers upon him. He subtly turned his hand side to side, letting the Force inact his motions and avoid the fire or allowing the ship to absorb some of the impact without any long-term damages. -

- This would only last a moment, as he saw the oppertunity to turn around with such drive guided by his back thrusters to counter them head on. The three laser cannons opened fire, his primary side pronged weapons blasting at full speed, clipping and knocking the left TIE fighters' right solar panneled wing clear off. This action caused the ship to spin off to the left, colliding with other in a bellowing explosion that sent dust and debry in all directions. -

- By the time he finished the two off, the other four E-Wings that accompanied cleared out all other disturbances, allowing the other nine the oppertunity to knock out ground controls all along the factories.. -

- A communication link came into effect right after they cleared the area of stationed TIE fighters and other ground disturbance that might hinder the offensive actions of disabling the assembly line. -

E-Wing Group Leader: "34, 25, 46, 18, 19, meet back up with the Star Defender for furthur orders."

- Nodding, he'd bring the ship back up and race back up into the sky at full intensity, his heart filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride. His forehead was dampened with sweat, as well as his hands and feet. -

I just hope you are watching, Master..

OOC: Oh, yeah, sure, I'm the god-moder.

IC: Sith Lightning exited hyperspace behind the Rebel invasion fleet. Because Sith was an organic creation, the sensors did not detect it. They could maybe sense a lifeform about, but they could be left to believe it was some creature, perhaps a mynock. Barabbas flew into mist of the destroyers. Now that he was in plain site, the crew of the Hope's Battle noticed there was a ship flying toward them. The ship began to fire at the enemy vessel, but not so much as his skills as a pilot, but his intution with the Force, enabled him to weave past every blast. He smiled, "Charge the EMP, Sith."

The ship approached the bottom of the Super Star Destroyer and traveled underneath it. As he passed several of the turbolasers shooting at him, they had to be repositioned and turned completely around so that they could continue firing at him. He now had a few seconds to spare. "Say goodbye to your precious power... and with it control of your ships."

Barabbas activated the EMP in his ship, and the blast hit all three ships of the invasion fleet, rendering them powerless and floating safely outside Kuat. All systems were gone, even emergency power systems. Everything with an electric current was disabled and all power was lost. Everyone aboard the ships sat in the dark with no idea of what was going on. Barabbas laughed maniacally as he turned his ship around to meet the soon arriving boarding team.

OOC: The EMP on my ship is mod-approved, so don't try and drag the mods into this so you can keep power in your ships.

The Nazareth broke out of hyperspace above the now inoperational fleet. The single star Destroyer, once relatively outnumbered, now cruised with a sort of dominant cockiness over the giant useless hunks of metal. Beginning to plow the Mon Cal cruisers with it's 60 (jerk) turbolasers. Mean while Raiden crossed to the Hope's Battle. Completely defenseless, the Venom Division troops infiltrated the ship. The black armored soldiers stepped into the ship, their magnetic boot holding them to the floor. Raiden, adorned in a blue armor, lead them rapidly deeper into the enemy strong hold. The under armed Republicans fell quickly at the hands of the Infiltration Team...*

Onderin had no way of communicating with his troops...at least not one that used electricity. There were many advantages to being a Jedi Knight, and he would attempt to help out his troops with three of them. It would take concentration, but he would make a difference.

First, he entered a meditative trance, sitting down in his Admiral's chair and closing his eyes. He stretched out with the Force and felt the minds of every being on all three ships of the fleet. They were at first just a sort of blur in his mind, but as he furrowed his eyebrows with deeper concentration, they focused into individual minds, each thinking its own thoughts. Most of them were desperate.

Admiral Starlisk touched them, trying to call forth calm from his own demeanor and place it over his troops. He knew that Kirana, his former apprentice, was skilled in the ancient Jedi art of Battle Meditation, and he had gained the concept of it when flying with his squadron of E-wings in his earlier days with the Alliance.

Now he had to do it on a much grander scale. The Jedi Knight had built such a trust in the Force over his numerous times in combat that he was not daunted by the task. He was perfectly calm...attuned...passive. He then began giving orders and reinforcing motives. His own mind of tactics was enforced by those of each individual officer, high ranking or not.

Squads of troopers fought with resolve, putting up fronts and retreating as necessary. The Imperial troops had better training and were better equipped, so the Rebels knew they had to give ground. They would fall back to the next front of troopers, who killed more and more Imperials.

There were more Rebels on each cruiser than the Empire could possibly devote, as they were hurting militarily, so they slowly wittled down the force.

Now that the troops had such a tactic down, Onderin himself rose and worked his way through the hallways of the ship, avoiding non-fuctional turbolifts and having his escort of a few elite troops blow through doors with grenades and blaster fire.

Soon he found a group of soldiers waiting for a wave of Imperials. The hallway was dark, so they wouldn't know exactly when the enemy was upon them--they had to use their ears and the light of blaster fire. Then, with an amplified >snap-hiss<, Onderin's brilliant green lightsaber activated.

He would stand with them.

Meanwhile, outside the cruisers, there were still hundreds of operational starfighters that had been outside the EMP blast. They still operated as normal, despite knowing that their command ship was in trouble. Several squads returned to the capital ships to attempt to knock out boarding craft, but the majority stayed on the offensive, taking out a few of the scarce defense mechanisms and hitting military or hostile emplacements on the surface of Kuat.

One squadron of E-wings stumbled upon the workings of another EMP weapon and leveled their noses on it in preparation of taking it out with a devestating volley of proton torpedoes.

The now-superior Imperial fleet launched two squadrons of Imperial fighters to pick off the remaining Rebel fighters that remained in space. The Nazareth moved closer to planet side and was prepared to destroy any rebel fighters that came close, and destroy them the Nazareth would.

Sith Lightning flew up into the docking bay of the ship. Cineon jumped out, magnetic boots locking to the floor. His oxygen mask hissed in the same way Darth Vader's helmet did. Barabbas quickly caught up to Vauler as the two of them made their way to the bulk of the boarding party. Their presence gave the Imperials resolve and morale, the dark side of the Force fueled them. The Rebels had begun to get the edge on them, but now that they had the same desire to win, the Imperial troops regained their former initiative. Barabbas and Vauler pooled their Force strength together to strip the hallways of their magnetic seal, breaking the gravity field, causing the Rebels (all without anything to keep them to the ground) to float up to the ceiling.

Barabbas ignited his lightsaber. He was ready this time for Rebel forces, with special crystals in his lightsaber to protect it from cortosis-weaved weapons. The only thing that lit the room was the blasts from the opposing foot soldiers and the lightsabers of those strong with the Force.

OOC: This is where the fun begins...

IC: Vauler halted. "Cineon, I must retrieve something from my ship, continue without me; I will return hastily."

Vauler ran back to his ship, which was now quite a distance away. He looked over to Sith Lightning. "Now, there's a pretty ship..." ((which your ship registration doesn't say only you can fly it))

Vauler got into the ship and flew out of Hope's Battle and towards the Nazereth as he charged and armed the EMP.

"What is the Emperor doing? Is he coming onto our ship so early in the attack?" Said the commander of the Nazereth.

"Fire EMP." Vauler stated as he did just that. The pulse ripped through the Nazereth which was so close to the planet it was caught in it's gravity pull. All fighters, Imperial and Alliance alike, were now inoperable.

Vauler chuckled.

"Sorry Cineon... you still have much to learn..."

With that, Vauler and Sith Lightning entered hyperspace, leaving both parties stranded.

OOC: I destroyed the Nazareth in my first post here. There's nothing left to disable.

IC: Onderin raised his eyebrows when a second EMP blast tore through his ship. Remaining stretched out with the Force, Onderin felt the distress of his pilots. This one got the fighters, he thought. With this knowledge, he hoped that the fighters in the atmosphere could land safely--it would take skill, but it was possible.

Reaching out with his fledgling and inexperienced Battle Meditation ability, Onderin continued to encourage his troops and use his own Jedi precognition to give them the winning edge. Despite being less equiped, the Alliance soldiers began to change the tide of each individual battle, and soon it was the Imperials that were in retreat.

Except they had nowhere to run.

The Jedi Knight and his squad of troops, including his elite personal guard, moved forward now, pursuing a group of Imperials. Onderin's lightsaber was activated and providing enough light to see by. He constantly moved it to ward off blaster fire, bright sparks of light at each deflection point along his green blade.

Calling on the Force as he had so many times before, the Admiral took an active perspective upon it and leapt with its aid at the enemy troops, dropping himself into their midst and swinging left, then right, each swing connecting with and dropping a trooper.

He continued to use the Force actively, sending a current of energy in the form of a mobile wall towards a group of four Imperials, knocking them against walls and into unconciousness.

Sith Lightning came back through hyperspace, as he was completely loyal to his master. The organic ship flew back into the Hope's Battle and flew upside down. The cockpit opened and hit a pole, knocking Vauler right out of the cockpit, cracking a few ribs in the process. Sith Lightning flew back to the hangar bay, as it had flown in so that it was closer to Barabbas. Barabbas had sensed Vauler's betrayal and had ran to Vauler. Several troopers opened fire onto Vauler, but it was futile, as they all died. Barabbas flew in to the room and kicked Vauler back, lightsaber in hand, and engaged Vauler in a lightsaber duel...

Vauler expected this could happen, but he also assumed he was out of Cineon's mental range.

He leapt to his feet and activated his lightsaber to catch Cineon.

"Still young and cocky..." Cineon was enraged, and Vauler used this to his advantage, he fed on Cineon's dark side energy and used it to amplify his own and force pushed Cineon through the blast doors leading to the main hall, and than through the smaller walls of the next two halls.

"This isn't one of your word games boy..." Vauler said as he approached the recovering sith. "... you are no match for me."

Onderin was suddenly alerted to a disturbance through the currents of the Force as he continued to fight the few remaining Imperial soldiers. His own men were holding together rather well, as most Imperial blasters had been turned on the Jedi Knight.

Now he felt shockwaves of anger and hate, the kind that only eminated from a few things. Betrayal was one of them, and that was the only explanation to the second EMP blast, the one that had disabled the Imperial Star Destroyer which was the entire Imperial Navy. Onderin would find the source of this betrayal and take part in the ensuing engagement.

How short-sighted the Sith were. They would do anything to find personal glory, even if it jeopardized their current situation. It would work to the Admiral's advantage, for one of the two Sith--or both--would fall in this battle. Onderin would see to it that the Emporer was the one who fell.

The last time he had battled the Emperor (it had been Jidai Geki), the Jedi Knight had failed and been killed. However, he had no intent of failing again, and this time he would not be alone in his battle. He would have an ally, possibly one with little trust for him. But it would be better than being alone.

Onderin Starlisk ran through another group of enemy troops, his greater force making short work of them. Moving through a final half-destroyed door, he found himself in the hangar, where two Sith Lords fought. He immediately distiguished which one was the Emperor, and he ignited his laser sword.

"Emporer Yahn, your reign ends here," he said boldly. "Your apprentice has turned on you, and now I will see to it that he is victorious."

The Jedi Knight then turned to Darth Vauler. "We may be on opposing sides, but only together can we defeat the man you now challenge." He then dropped himself into a defensive stance, hoping that his Form V lightsaber combat style was not as rusty as he feared. The Force will guide me, he assured himself.

*Raiden's troop of Elite Venom Troopers made quick work of the SSD guard. A military group that had lost none of it's potency since the Rule of Rivhen, the Venoms had Pleanty of numbers to overtake the ship. Slash and burn didn't work. The Gray armored soldiers marched the Rebels into a corner, overwhelming them with blaster fire. As groups were damaged more came from Hyperspace, replenishing the numbers constantly. Failure was not an option. Raiden's squad, armed with Blaster Rifles, broke into Onderin's Chamber, opening fire on the Jedi without hesitation, pelting him with a barrage of Blaster bolts.*

Barabbas laughed through the breathing mask, "You fools! You think you have won, but this day is mine. You have no hope to outsmart me! Sith," he spoke through the Force, "come out around outside of the ship and prepare to catch me."

"I am no match for you Vauler? You are old and weak! You are far out of your league and out of practice. You have not used the Force in so long!" Barabbas jumped into the air and 'flew' toward Vauler, locking their sabers together. His rage was becoming all-consuming, as several objects around him began to fly about, hitting rebel and imperials alike. Other objects flew, others imploded and crushed under the invisible pressure upon them. Barabbas feinted an attack for the right, but spun his entire body to the left in such a fast manner he struck Vauler right in the hip with his lightsaber. "NO ONE BETRAYS ME!" Barabbas shouted out through the oxygen mask, sounding just like Vader would have. Vauler could not parry Barabbas's attacks efficiently, and kept getting wounded every few seconds. One hit to the ankle, another slicing off his pinky. Barabbas yelled out, filling the entire room with his booming shout, becoming an outlet for the dark side, too much for even Vauler to feed on. "An apprentice of Sadism? I expected better from you!"

Barabbas continued to press Vauler backward until he was pinned. Vauler suddenly began to lose control of his breathing; he couldn't breathe at all. Barabbas was so furious and letting the dark side run rampant through him, he began to choke Vauler. Barabbas stepped back as Vauler struggled for breath, "I am not Cineon; that's Lord Barabbas to you!" With that, Vauler finally suffocated and died. Barabbas removed all 7 lightsabers from Vauler's belt and tucked them away into his own robes. He then turned around and walked off to find Raiden and Onderin...

Onderin Starlisk began deflecting incoming hostile fire from the Venom squad. He had just witnessed the death of his only ally, and now the Emperor was returning for him. He would put up more of a fight than the other Sith had, though.

In order to free himself up to challenge the Emperor, the Admiral needed to either dispose of or immobilize the elite squad that was firing on him. Stretching out with the Force again, Onderin took hold of the ceiling and brought it down on the small squad of troops, crushing many of them and blocking the rest from being able to free themselves from the duracrete. It would at least take them some time.

The Jedi Knight then ran through the damaged doorway once again and found the Emperor, Darth Barabbas, waiting, red lightsaber activated. "This ends now, Emporer," he said, raising his own blade, this one a conflicting green, in an attack stance. Without waiting for a response, Onderin attacked, slashing high, then to the opposite corner of his opponent's body.

OOC: I challenge you to an official duel. Refuse and I will kill you in the same amount of posts that you killed Vauler in.

Barabbas laughed, "You are quite bold in your claims, Onderin. I will take great pleasure in watching you die."

Barabbas got down on his knees and his head was low to the ground. He spoke in a sarcastic tone, "Who am I, an unworthy and worthless being to stand up to the might of a Jedi Knight such as thee?" Barabbas had been making a grip of something with the Force; the duracrete that trapped Raiden. It flew through the walls and hit Onderin right in the back, sending him flying. Barabbas, who was low to the ground, was underneath of the duracrete and was not hit. He stood up, laughing as he did, "Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the darkside!"

Barabbas pulled Onderin back up to his feet. "Time for you to die my young Jedi."

*Raiden got up, seeing a few members of his squad killed by the heavy stone building material. Why you would make a ship out of duracrete was beyond Raiden, but wasn't his focus. He stood up as fast as he could, his armor scuffed and dented, and rushed the Jedi. He switched his E-11 to its auxiliary flame-thrower, sending forth a wave of inescapable fire. The Jedi's lightsaber useless against the flame, he was bombarded and torched, his face melted, his clothes set ablaze, his entire body burnt beyond recognition. His screams of agony bounced off of Raiden and left him unfazed as he continued to burn away for almost the length of a minute. When Raiden ran out of fuel he lowered his rifle, looking indifferently at the Jedi's face, which was burn down to bone. He was alive, though barely. Raiden pulled the combat knife off his belt and kneeled down, ramming it through the hole in his nose and up to Onderin's brain, killing him instantly, ending his horrible pain.*

Barabbas laughed, "Good, good! Well done Raiden, this day belongs to the Empire, despite the mutiny of Lord Vauler. I will inform Lord Ryu of this traitor. Now we must take care of those who have yet to be dealt with. Sith, park next to the Sadism II. Let's go to the hangar, Sargeant, we have much more to do."

Soon they were at the hangar. Barabbas connected one end of a cable to the Sadism II and the other end to his EMP's energy core. He used all the power in it to recharge the empy power cells of the Sadism II and jump started the engine. Soon the ship had full power again. He looked at the hull and saw the plate that said "Sadism II" It was welded over the original design of the ship. He activated his lightsaber and removed the plate to reveal the ship's true name.

"The Deviant IV? The late Exar Palpatine's ship if my history knowledge serves me right. The Deviant IV is reborn; free from the vandalization that Vauler hexed it with! Get aboard Raiden, and we will go planet side and continue the fight there!"

Barabbas boarded Sith Lightning and headed down to the surface...

After further review, I have come to the conclusion that Vauler was inactive in RP for almost a year, dropping him in rank and therefore abilities. My originaly ruling is null and Cineon Yahn gets the kill. Sorry Adam, but you waited too long to bring Vauler back.

As for Onderin being bum-rushed that is being looked into, a ruling will be made tomorrow about this situation.

OOC: Editted my post. No one even cared what I had to say so I am just going to proceed to edit my post occurdingly to the actions that have followed.

IC:

..Onderin..

- A wave of pain traveled through the young man's body as he traveled up from Kuat's assembly line raid to rendevous with the three Rebel gunships. One long white glove reached out to his chest, fingers clinching to the material of his flight suit as he coped with the passing feeling. He sensed a great disturbance happening above him, particularly with his friend and mentor. He had to quickly switch with his other hand to auto-pilot. -

- The EMP knocked out control to the three gunships but, the young man was not aware of this. All he could feel was this freightful feeling of his mentor and that of the people he served in complete and utter confusion, images of panicing faces waving across the boy's troubled mind; the one that stood out was Onderin's. Converting power from all other systems to his back thrusters, the bulky E-Wing soared from the sky's of Kuat into space's orbit, reaching Hope's Battle within mere minutes. -

- Luckily, the hangar bay doors had been pried open to allow surronding fighters to land occurdingly. It was a tricky manuever but he allowed his trust in the Force to land safetly without any damage to his ship. Stepping out from the cockpit, sliding down the ladder, and racing across the floor, he noticed that the station was completly dark; only some emergency back-up lights guiding the hallways. -

- Large shiny black boots of his stormed through the hallway, passing infantry troops that were scrambled to fight against the breach attack. The young man felt freightened, scared, and most of all, concerned for his Master's safety. The Force was still lingering with the boy, guiding him down the dim-lighted hallways in pursuit of the one he longed to meet. -

- Occassionally, a blast or two would hit the ship, causing him to become unbalanced and fall to the floor. One such blow took to the side of his head, causing him to fall back into a side panneled room. His fainted body was stuin in the rumble and mess that compile dthe storage room the young man was in. -

- He would awake later in a daze, the ship not under any fire and there were no noises outside the hallway. The young Padawan made his way through the obstacle that was the hallway, ducking over downed wires and leaping over bodies laid against the ground, Rebel and Imperial figures alike. -

What a senseless war.. All these people died and I wasn't there to help them..

- His eyes began to water, the tense feeling of fear and guilt clinched his fragile heart. The boy could only pause a moment to think of this, continuing on in hopes that the terrible feeling he felt for his Master was not true. The Force guided him to a degree, still getting lost in sections and finally making his way towards the main meeting chambersto which he had seen Onderin on earlier that day. -

- What the young man saw horrified him in a such a way that caused his knees to give way, having him stand up on what little strength the boy could muster as his hollowed eyes starred upon the lifeless figure of his Master. -

"No... This can't be happening... Why?!"

- His hands clutched the bloody lifeless head of the man, bitter tears flowing down from both eyes as he slowly began to whimper under rushed breathe. His only friend, his father figure, and mentor had died. He never thought it could happen. He was such a wise, kind, and powerful man. It didn't seem possible in the boy's eyes. -

- Sabian sat there for a good ten minutes, mumbling to himself under exhausted breathe the very words he spoke earlier. All the sudden, something surged inside of him. It was not a pleasant feeling to leave his Master's side but, it enabled him enough strength to get up and repose over him. A voice in his head, the calm wisdom of the Force it was, called to him, consuling the loss of his loved one, and opened his cluttered mind to task that had to proceed now at hand. -

- One shaky hand bent down to the side of his Master's body and clutched his downed lightsaber. He knew it was important to Onderin, even though he was not trained enough to use it to it's full potential, and carried it as a momento now. The young innocent boy's face altered almost permenantly from those innocent features to features that looked more matured with aged, seeing what life's harsh realisms were of and he was helpless to control them.. for now. -

"I will.. avenge you, Master.. I--I will.. I will find who killed you. I swear!i]"[/i]

- He fell to his knees again, clutching the corpse of his Master and crying deeply into the robes. Just then, his body seemed to disappear from his clutches, letting go and almost evaportating into the air. It was strange now, just realizing that his robes, in perfect condition, were all that remained of Onderin, with his lightsaber also now in Sabian's possession. -

- Feeling stirred in the moment, the young man also took on the robes that his Master had dawned, and hung over the place where he had been killed. The Force beckoned him to leave the place, in the far corners of his mind. Ondering was so reliant on the Force that he listened to it's every commands even harder now. -

- It'd be a matter of minutes before he got back into the hangar bay and took off in the E-11. Outside, the many forces that had swarmed the three gunships had seperated and scattered for the moment, allowing him to leave the orbit in a quick jump to Hyperspace to the only place he knew to go now.. Selvaris. -

After further review, I have come to the conclusion that Vauler was inactive in RP for almost a year, dropping him in rank and therefore abilities. My originaly ruling is null and Cineon Yahn gets the kill. Sorry Adam, but you waited too long to bring Vauler back.

OOC: What happened about this shit of "I'm not gonna start reversing my rulings? When does this come to an end? John is piss scared somebody is going to kill one of his characters that he has to do a cheap kill and than force a mod to reverse a ruling, when all I asked for was a fun modded duel to see who was the better fighter? What ever, if this is the way RP is going to be, maybe Vauler should be dead.

here's my case: his killing post conveiniently IGNORED the fact that Onderin was standing RIGHT there when I was killed, I guess the post assumes Onderin was just going to watch and take the winner. But never mind, it's too late, since you don't like 'reversing your rulings' and all.

I will reverse a ruling when an inactive character comes back and attempts something like this. I was un-aware that Vauler was inactive for a year, something you should have told me. If I allowed this ruling to stand the way it was then anytime anyone comes back they will be just as strong as a character you have been active with all year. Is that fair? Do you and your brother do this on purpose just to aggravate me?

After getting a second opinion Tarrian and I both agree that the attack on Onderin, while cheap, was legal. First the rule is person A attacks, Person B defends, Person C attacks. Then Person A can attack again if you repeat that. So Two attacks before a post is legal as long as Person A is the only one to atack before person B defends at the beginning of the battle. This seems a little confusing so i'll try to explain it better.

Raiden attacked, Onderin defended, Cineon attacked. This is the end of Person A attacks, Person B defends, Person C attacks. And it can stat anew with Raiden attacking. This was a very cheap kill as this duel could have easily lasted longer and been played out better. It is as if everyone is scared they will be killed right away. I wouldn't have to rule at all if people were fair and had fun with each other. I really want to rule against this, but cheap as it may be it was within the stupid rule.

"Time to get back to work."

*Finishing off the remnants of the forces on the "Hope's Battle," as it was most unfortunately called, Raiden boarded his private ship. While the electrical systems were fried, the basic mechanical systems were still quite functional, and with quite a bit of tweeking, it was able to fly--though not very far. The technicians that he had brought with him took the helm, knowing that it would take quite a bit of knowledge to land it properly. After a rough flight and a crash landing, Raiden stepped out onto the surface of the planet. The chaos of battle was concluding, without a leader they had no hope of victory. The golan defense platforms made quick work of the remaining stunt fighters, mowing down the opposition with reletive easy. Attempts at infiltration are crushed with easy at the supierior ground battle strength of the Empire. With Raiden in command the battle was soon over, in space four new ships that would belong to the empire, once repaired. The fate of the crews of the MC90s was grim. With their fleet knocked out by Valuer (Thanks, tool) they had no choice but to wait for their oxygen to be used up, their deaths painful and gruesome as a result of the EMP bombardment. A few ships were able to make it as far as the Nazareth, but they spent all of their time saving Imperials. Raiden looked with disgust at the base, the large inactive ships looming as giant shadows in the skyline.*

"This victory came at tremendous price. Not just a cost of men and technology, but of dignity. In this battle we fough desperately, ruthlessly, and I fear, honorlessly. This is the worst loss of my career..."

*Raiden crossed his arms behind his back and turned to walk into the installation. There was much work to be done...*

For the most part, the actual shipyard itself was unscathed, with building proceeding as there were no interuptions. A new ship took flight from Kuat, a ship that was to be named the Avenger II. The Avenger flew out to where the battle had taken place and recovered the crew of the Nazareth. Building of new ships was halted completely, as all resources of the shipyards were taken up to the site of the battle to repair the fallen ships, the SSD being of the top priority.

Barabbas flew out aboard Sith Lightning and shot down the few remaining rebel fighters that remained ((with the exception of Sabian, of course)). He boarded the Avenger, currently his flagship. He ordered all those who were repairing ships to rewire and recode the mainframes of every Rebel ship, so that the Rebels cannot spy on him, or find out where the Imperial base was located. He sat in his throne, waiting for the repairs to be complete. The Avenger had all systems operating in case a second wave attacked Kuat.

OOC:

A flight group of B-wings headed for the shipyard itself, arming Ion cannons to disable and another flight of E-wings went after the half-completed Star Destroyer still in the shipyard dock.

You prepared to attack my new star destroyer, you never said that you did. Any damage that would be understood wouldn't be enough to set back construction drastically, IMO.

IC: Barabbas felt a disturbance in the Force. He could sense that the Dark Lord was in trouble. He sent a comm to Raiden, "Raiden, continue to oversee the repairs of the ships here. Once they are repaired, take them back to base.

Sith Lightning entered hyperspace shortly after.

((EDIT, 8 RL days later --))

The ships of the Rebel Alliance were repaired and rewired so there was no way the Rebels could use the ships against the Emperor somehow. The ships were renamed for Imperial use, his fleet was now:

SSD, The Messiah

MC90a, The Golgothan

MC90a, The Revelation

SD, The Nazareth

SD, The Avenger II

The fleet entered hyperspace and left for the Imperial base, and construction of ships was able to resume.

A new Interdictor cruiser was completed. It was named the Crucifixion, and entered hyperspace, leaving the shipyards behind.

Two more Imperial Star Destroyers were completed, the Jesu and the Serpent Pride. They went outside of the system and entered hyperspace. The shipyard began construction of one more star destroyer, the final ship needed to compete the Imperial fleet.
