  1. OOC: Aryian gave me control of the droids for the time being, just so ya'll know. IC: As Revan's ship appeared in the atmosphere, the emotionless voice of a droid immediately greeted the space vessel. "Please send verification codes immediately." The silence from Revan's ship was enough to convince the droid that an intruder was trying to impose its way to the surface. "Commence defense procedures,”
  2. Nom Anorus was somewhat curious to see Kirlocca, considering he was just told the meeting would have to wait until later. But he didn't really see the need to complain. Just as one Jedi Master was about to address the other, his pocket began to vibrate yet again. At first Nom was a bit surprised, but his commlink sure has been busy lately. He placed the small device to his ear. The message had lots of status, as if the under end was barely working. The pitch he was hearing sounded slightly familiar, but the static offered no help in deciphering the voice. After the message finished, Nom stood momentarily at a loss. This person seemed to be in danger, yet it sounded a bit suspicious. But a Jedi's main job was to save lives, not to get suspicious. The transmitter must have been at a great distance away considering the Force had little to offer the Jedi Master in terms of intention. He would just have to make a judgment call here. If it was trap, he would deal with it later. An attempt like this from the Sith would be met with two Jedi Masters as well as legions of battle droids. Nom positioned his commlink to his mouth and spoke the following words. "This is Jedi Master Nom Anorus, I am positioned on the Planet Mechis III." The Jedi Master then proceeded to give the coordinates to the young one, so he would be able to get to the planet without difficulty. "I'll be waiting." The Jedi shut off his comlink and turned to the council member. "We may have a vistor."
  3. A small commlink began to vibrate within the robes of the Jedi Master. It had only been a few minutes since he had sent his transmission. He was somewhat suprised that Master Kirlocca had replied so early. Nom reached into his pocket and pulled the small divice to his ear. The voice belong to someone besides the large wookie, considering it sounded human. Nom couldn't figure out who the voice belonged to; it must have been an aid to the council member. After the message ended, Nom slid the sleek sliver object back into his robes. It seemed that Kirlocca was up to his head in things to do. Due to the fact that Nom's meating wasn't of dire importants, the Jedi Master had some time to kill. His mind turned to Celes, who had moved on to who knows what. He could sense the Force within her, there was no question of that. Perhaps she could be trained as a Jedi. Her personality however, would present a challenge. That was a challenge Nom had yet to face. Dueling a Sith Master was one thing, but training a young firecracker such as Celes in the ways of the Jedi would be something else entirely. The Jedi Master couldn't help but feel a bit dissapointed as he began his search for the young girl. He would finally have to reveal the fact that he was a Jedi. The slight tinge of fear within the girl's eyes was somewhat amusing to Nom. One thing was for sure however, boredom would not be a factor on this mission.
  4. "Thats all right actually," Nom said as he finished inspecting the base. All he really needed to do was tell if the facility was worth anything to the Jedi. Based on everything Nom had seen, it had lived up to Kirlocca's assumptions. The only thing that sill bugged him was the fact that he was still concerned why there were no humans on this planet. Was this a product of mass genocide? There was no way to prove this however. The Jedi Master decided to wait to voice these particular concerns untill he was face to face with his superior "I'm going to make a quick contact with Master Kirlocca. I think I can find my way to a communication station." The Jedi Master then turned his attention to his young friend, who seemed to be voicing her complaints within her own head. "You're welcome to do what you want, I'll come back and pick you up when its time to go." Nom then turned to leave, but then faced 8R one last time. "If she steps out of line, you know what do." He said with a wink After a few minutes of walking, Nom was able to locate a communication moduel. He sent his message with minimal difficulty.
  5. As the shuttle moved through the droid-operated facility, Nom couldn't keep his head in one place. There was so much to see, and not enough eyes to look at what was going on. It was amazing how these droids could operate by themselves. There was no doubt a Jedi had been here previously to set all this up. Who ever it was, their programming skills were exceptoinal. There was no way Nom could match this sort of skill. But despite all the lavish, wonder, and efficiency, there was something wrong. Why was the only life on this planet droids? There had to be humans here at some point. What happened to them? The Force was heavy on the planet, as if it left a taint so heavy, it was pressing down on Nom's shoulders, adding extra weight to the gravity. And worse off all, the taint was dark. Nom turned to Celes, who seemed strangely quite considering how blatent her entrance was. He couldn't help but wonder if she was feeling a fraction of what he was feeling. The Jedi Master moved his focus back onto the droid before him. "Is there anything you have left to show me?"
  6. Nom watched as his lightsaber seemed to do the trick. The droids lowered their weapeons, obviously adhearing to the Jedi Master's command. Apparently the girl got lost on her way to the Meridias system and ended up getting shot down by the droids on Mechis III. The Force revealed no deception or lies from the young woman. Infact, she seemed to be eminating a pinch of energy of her own. Nom could feel the Force surround Celes. She was radiating it like the Sun radiated light. Perhpas she could be trained. That very idea of training another brought back memories of Revan. The Jedi Master knew full well that his old apprentice could be out on a killing spree this very moment. If he were to train Celes, would the same fate befal her? Before he could think more clearly on this particular issue, he noticed the combat droids face in his direction. 8R-3P0 was looking at him as well, as if waiting for some kind of answer or responce for telling him to spare the girl. The Jedi knew he had to complete what he came to Mechis III to do in the first place, but he couldn't just leave her... "R8, I'll take this girl as my personal responsiblity. I still wish to continue the tour. If the young one crosses any more boundries, I'll see to it that she gets taken care of." Nom left the sentence open, knowing the droids would take that as an implication of termination. "You can put that on the databanks too, if you like." Nom would have winked if the droids could take it as such. Nom turned to the young girl who was still covered in small burns. "Looks like you will have to stick with me for a while. I hope you don't mind." The Jedi Master deliberatly left the fact that he wasn't as Sith out of the conversation. Perhaps fear will keep this girl out of trouble more than anything else.
  7. (( )) The funny thing about droids was that they were probably the most objective force in the galaxy. Procedure trumped all else. They were programmed to eliminate anything that did not posses codes that identified themselves as a Jedi. It was funny how humans and other humanoid species relied on droids for everyday life. It would only take a simple program rewrite to set the droid against its master. They were wrose than slaves, considering morality had no place in an A.I. memory core. Just as the assualt droids began to circle the burned woman, the Force began to flow through his mind, without even being tapped into. He saw flashes of blaster fire, charring the night. Screams filled his mind, echoing through the currents of the Force. He could almost picture the actuall events transpire, the image was just starting to fade into view. He could almost see...it "Ah, Master Anorus, perhaps you shall see the demonstration of our new models sooner than I had expected. The intruder will be dealt with immediately, our apologies to that. It is merely an interruption to the tour, as you can see." The droid's words slowly began to materalize in Nom's mind, as if dragging him away from the events taking place inside his head. "No wait!" Nom's voice was hard and firm, sounding as if his command was of urgernt importance. Too bad droids couldn't understand harshess of tone. But a green lightsaber blade could send that message much more clearly. The Jedi Master could not sense any danger from the girl, but his actions were in response to the droids, making it seem as if he sensed danger as well. It was never a good idea to tell an assassin droid it was wrong. The blade shimmered amoung the drab grey that seemed to fill the base. He kept it pointing at the girl now brushing soot off her body. "Why did you come here?" He jerked his lightsaber slightly, letting Celes know he could use it at a moment's notice. "Don't try lying either, because I can tell."
  8. Nom's head never stopped moving as he continued to survey his surrounds. Everything he took in was knew information. Even though this particular mission wasn't the most interesting thing in the world, he still had to do it right. The planet before was like a living city, running on its own power. It was as if droids evolved on this particular planet instead of humans. That thought began to expand itself in Nom's mind, but the progression was halted by a moving flame that seemed to appear out of nowhere. At first the Jedi Master thought it was just a droid on fire. But the Force, coupled with a rather distastful insult seemed to indicate otherwise. The flame seemed to cause pain, as screams of terror escaped the young girl. Acting quickly, the Jedi Master dove into the Force. He could feel every molecule around him, bumping and grinding into one another, in eternal conflict. He pinpointed the element of oxygen around the young girl, adding life the the searing flames. With a powerful flick of his wrist, the small elements bagan to dispearse, as if fleeing from the heat of the fire. Because there was no more oxygen to fuel the heat, the fire proceeded to shrink untill it was gone completely. There seemed to be no burns considering some of her clothers were still intact. The fire still had a ways to go before reaching her skin. The droid before the Jedi Master seemed to be frozen in place, as if seeing a burning human was first time occurance. Nom thought that it probably was. Nom held out his hand, letting the girl know that she was flame free. "That was quite an entrance," he said with a smile.
  9. Nom could barely find the words within him to speak. It was as if the droids were waiting expecting his arrival. Did Kirlocca know that the base seemed to be online and functional? Nom inclined his head slightly, trying to look as if that was the reason as to why he had come. "Yes I am here to check on the assault droids, as well as the rest of the base itself." The Jedi Master kept his hand on his lightsaber, the possiblity of trap still held a firm grasp on his suspisions. "I trust a tour of this facility is in order?"
  10. A lone Jedi starfighter shot out of hyperspace, leaving the empty vesage of space behind. Nom had been crampt in the pilot's chair for far too long, it was time to stretch his legs. One glance towards the surface confirment his suspisions. The planet was heavily industrialized. Apparently the Jedi were looking into a more technologically based training center, or whatever the council was planning on using it for. The only thing that really concerned the Jedi Master, was weither the automatic systems in charge of running the facility were friendly or not. After a few moments, he came into comm range. He was immediately met with a signal from the surface, exactly what Nom was working for. "Please send ID immediately." The voice had no tone, or the patience enough for friendlyness. It was obviously a droid. "This is Jedi Master Nom Anorus, requesting permission to land." As soon as the words escaped his lips, Nom regretted speaking them. So much for being a shadow. There was a small pause before an answer was given. "Ah, Master Anorus, welcome to Mechis III. You may proceed to land on platform G-67." A stunned expression made its way onto Nom's face. Only a few seconds before, he was expecting to either fight his way in, or figure out a way to sneak to the surface. He was still weary however. The possibility of a trap was still on the Jedi Master's mind. "What the heck is going on here?" How could these droids have a record of who he was, if he was supposed to be the first one to arrive at the station since the council discovered it? This question haunted the Jedi Master as he made his decent towards the designated landing platform. He kept his weapon systems online, waiting for the Force to reveal a trap before it was sprung. The fighter set down softly, without a hitch. The landing ramp extened, a puff of dust lauched out from where the metal collided with the steel floor of Mechis III. Droids immediately flocked to the landed ship, as if they were drawn to it by some supernatural force. The Jedi Master carefully made his way down the ramp, lightsaber in hand. He could ignite the jade green blade at a moments notice if he had to.
  11. A lone starfighter shot through hyperspace like a rock out of a slingshot. Within sat a Jedi Master, deeply thinking about the moments that lie ahead. He was so absorbed in his own thoughts, that he didn't even notice Mechis III appear on his navi computer. His R2 unit continued to pump coordinates on the screen under the yoke. A loud chirp from the droid finally proceeded to bring Nom back into reality. "Mechis III is already on these navi computers..." Nom spoke softly, as if someone else were listening. "Why haven't I heard of this place R2? R2-D9's dialouge flashed across a small screen for Nom to read. "At least you don't know about it either." Nom said sounding a bit deflated. He really did hate being left out of the loop. With the fresh coordinates in hand, the Jedi starfighter changed course slightly and streaked towards Mechis III.
  12. (OOC: Eventually this post is going to get really long, but it still needs to be done. I know none of you will read it, but just know that I will be making additions every so often because of the no double post rule)) A small freighter entered the atmosphere of Ossus, housing only one Jedi. The last time Nom was here, he had two padawans to train. Now he only has one, himself. The Jedi Master chose Ossus for the quiet forest life and the rather comfortable climate. It really was a nice place. Nom couldn't help but wonder why people didn't go to Ossus for vacation. Technology was all the rage now, leaving the tranquility of nature forgotten. Nom's ship landed with a small thud as metal met rock. His lungs were met with fresh air as he exited his ship. He was going to be here for a while. It only took Nom a few hours to set up camp, getting every thing the way he wanted it. He made sure he was a few miles away from his ship. This was more than just combat training. His ship sitting ten feet away from him provided an easy way out when things got tough. That was something Nom had to learn to ignore. There won't always be a way out. Unfortunately, the weather was clear, which ment he had time to kill. With the flick of the activation stud, the combat before sprang to life. Its movements were quick, yet predictable. Nom had fought these things several times before. Yet still, it was something to pass the time. The droid was less that five feet away now, equipped with a special vibrosword equiped with an ionic field strong enough to deflect a lightsaber. It would be far too easy otherwise. Nom's lightsaber erupted from its metal sheath to meet the droids attack, only inches from the neck of the Jedi Master. He would have to make things interesting somehow. The droid was already on the move again once contact was made. Nom was ready however. His lightsaber moved in a blur, matching the lush trees surrounding them. And such the dance continued, Nom's lightsaber assumed the role of defender, constantly moving, colliding with the droids attacks at every turn. If a droid were capable of frustration, it would be fighting with it. Of course that is one advantage a droid doesn't have. Which is that of fighting with feeling. Something the Sith use all too often. Nom has even been known to use some passion when dueling, good thing he had been able to keep it quiet from the rest of the Jedi. The battle continued well into the night. Nom kept his saber moving as little as possible. His blade only traveled enough distance to intercept the next attack, anything more would be a waste of effort. The Jedi Master could have torn the droid apart over and over again, but endurance doesn't come with quick battles. He had yet to attack offensivly yet. The biggest perk with an all defensive based form III lightsaber style, is that the defender wears the attacker down over time. Droids however, don't have to worry about that. It was almost pitch black considering there was no artificial light anywhere near Nom's camp. Without the Force, he wouldn't even be aware of the droids location. Because of this, it was time to have some fun. Without warning, the green pillar that acted as the sole provider of light for miles vanished, and so did the Jedi weilding it. In less than a second, Nom's lightsaber had been deactivated, clipped to his belt, sent spiraling into the woods, along with the Jedi Master attached to it. Nom knew that the droid would follow considering its AI systems were programed to mimic that of Force usage, only to a lesser extent. With the Force as his aid, Nom swept through the trees at speeds only a motorized vechicle could match. With a quick thrust of energy, the Jedi leaped into the air. He could feel the breeze caress his face as the air took him into its arms. This was a rush that certainly couldn't be attained in the Jedi temple. The Jedi Master landed on a sturdy brach attached to a rather large tree. While perched on his woodened limb, he streched out with Force, listening for the approach of his metal friend. This was going to be fun. It only took a few moments for the droid to appear right under the branch the Jedi Master now temporarily resided in. He had two options, either proceed to jump down and slice the thing in two, or use the Force and levitate it up to his own eye level. It only took him a moment to decide. After only a few seconds, the droid begain to rise from the ground. Its head snapped back and forth in surprise, as if its photo receptors couldn't take in the situation. Droids could be so funny sometimes. The droid's vibroblade now was only a meter away from the Jedi. Before the AI reactions could even begin to do its job, a green pillar of light came forth, as if sprouting from the very tree itself. Its arc extended towards the droid's open side. The blade cut through the chassis like a knife through butter. The electronic warrior fell to the ground in a smouldering pile of wasted metal. Only moments later Nom had realized what he had done. He had destroyed his only form of entertainment. It just goes to show that enjoyment of a fight still can lead to unfortunate consequences. Even Jedi Masters have room to learn. Nom made his way back to his campsite, feeling somewhat deflated. What else could he do to train? That last foray with the combat droid did improve his endurance, a skill invaluable to a form III fighter, considering it lasted a few hours. He just hoped a thunderstorm would start soon. He looked towards the stars, hoping some would be blocked out by clouds. Luckily, the heavens were filled with an inky smudge as if the celestial painter had spilled some color onto the wrong place. There was only a chance it would result in the weather Nom came to Ossus to experiance. The Jedi Master took a seat in his sleeping bag with the thought of a real training experiance before him. With the aid of a busy mind, he was able to find sleep among the peaceful beauty of nature. Thunder shook the ground as it cracked down upon the trees of Ossus. Nom woke with a start, he could feel the vibration even in his sleep. For a moment he was startled, but his moment of fear was quickly replaced with control. It was only a thunderstorm...nothing more. And as if an electric jolt went through his spine, Nom lept to his feet. There was finally a thunderstorm! It was now time to do what he had left the Temple to do. He made his way into the heart of the forest once more, the rain beating down on him. He found a clearing to his liking. He took a seat right in the center and closed his eyes, letting him self fall into the Force, a ritual his body thrived on. He could feel every rain drop within a five mile radius. He knew exactly where each bead of water would land and how fast it was going. He streched out even further, up into the clouds. He could feel the particles interacting with each other, rubbing together. The friction was building, the Forced provided a pefect window into the activities of the cloud. He could feel it shaking, it was housing a very powerful force, like a rabid bear trapped in a cage. It wanted free with each passing moment. Come to me...Unleash your fury! In an instant, the cloud above spewed its contents into the sky filled with water. Electricity streaked down using the droplets as its median. It was more powerful than anything a Sith could conjure. The Force was within every living thing. This was its power in its rawest form. Even a Sith Master could not match the power of nature, despite their boasts. As the bolt continued to ravage the sky, time seemed to slow. It was heading straight towards the Jedi Master, aiming to kill. Nom streched his hand into the air, his palm ready to meet the incoming threat. He cleared is mind and summoned the largest amount of energy he had ever experianced. The bolt of lighting collided with his hand. At first, pain like no other shot through him, causing him to think of nothing else. He felt as if a hundred Sith Masters were surrounding him, venting the darkside into his veins. His mind was screaming, he wanted nothing more than to take his lightsaber and shove it into his skull, just to make the agony stop. But then something within him called. A slight nudge prodded at his councious. The Jedi followed like a scarred cub to his mother. What he met was like water pouring through him. The peace was more refreshing than anything he had ever felt. The pain was gone, only a distant memory. The Jedi Master opened his eyes to find his hand a nasty shade of brown. Small puffs of smoke extended from the tips of his fingers. But other than that, he was fine. The lightning bolt was nowhere to be scene. Nom smiled. He tried to bend his finger, but the attempt was met with another shot of pain. It wouldn't move in the slightest. Every time he tried brought him closer to the memory of what transpired only moments before. He stood for a while and let the rain massage his face. It was a wonder feeling. Nom made his way back to his camp, knowing full well the condition he was in. His ship was too far away to walk to and Force running there would probably damage his hand. Good thing he put himself in this position for a reason. He would have to sleep the wound off...literally. He had never tried a healing trance before, but he was confident he would be successful to a certain degree. He found his sleeping bag covered with water, he should have put it in a cave or something. It was too late now however. The Jedi Master took his usual place among his campsite, the strom was starting to die down thankfully. He closed his eyes and pictured his hand going from the nasty shade of brown back to its milky tan complexion. He just hoped the Force would handle the rest as he drifted off to sleep again. Nom found himself amid the Jedi Temple, its contents were nothing more than lifeless masses, Jedi he once knew and loved. There were only two living things still alive. One was filled with dark, his insides corrupeted as if twisted into something different entirely. His cloak masked his presence. The other figure was that of a Jedi Master. Nom recognized himself standing in front of the young Sith. What was going on? Nom tried yelling, hoping either the Sith or....himself would answer. Neither acted, it was like he wasn't even there. The Sith and the other Nom seemed to be talking. Then suddenly lightsabers erupted as if out of nowhere The battle was fierce, the other Nom seemed to be outnumbered, as if the very power of the Sith was too much for him. The real Jedi Master shook his head, he couldn't help but feel dissapointment for how his counterpart was doing. The battle ceased with one swing of a lightsaber. The other Jedi Master's head rolled onto the floor, the look of defeat, and fear plastered onto his eyes. Not a moment later, the Sith lowered his hood as if he knew Nom was still there watching in horror. Revan smiled at him, as if his very presence were mocking him. The darkside pulsated within the young man. He was no longer the boy Nom had trained. "No...It can't be." Revan began to step towards him, his lightsaber raised. "This can't be true!" His old apprentice was upon him, crimson blade searing the air around him. He raised his weapon, poised to strike. "I will not fight you." Revan's blade was in motion looking kill yet again. Nom's eyes snapped open, rain beating softly on his brow. He could still feel the taint of dark around him. The source was too far to pinpoint an identity. But Nom knew. Revan had turned. His fears had been realized. He glanced down at his hand, it was completely back to normal. The Force did its job. A healed hand seemed trivial somehow compared to the loss of what was the closest thing he had to a son. The Jedi Master knew deep within himself that he would meet Revan again, and when he did, he just hoped he would be prepared to face the inevitable. Despite the newfound information concerning his old padawan, Nom still had work to do. The ability to absorb lighting would be of no use if his hand turned to toast everytime. Fortunately for the Jedi Master, the rain seemed to have picked up again. Thunder could still be heard off in the distance, causing several flocks of birds to flee, as if some unseen enemy were hunting them. Nom made his way to the same clearing he had inhabited before. This time the lighting bolt would not be so lucky. As if the very weather could sense his thoughts, the rain started to pick up even more. The impact of the water felt as if the sky was trying to hurt the Jedi. With water came lightning. Nom didn't even have to beckon the lighting this tme. The very coulds seemed to want revenge against the Jedi. Its strongest weapon was again unleashed, crashing down on the planet below. His hand met pain once again. Agony coursed though him once again. But this time, Nom felt the Force within him gleem, like a lone candle amist the darkness. He followed it, called it to him. Suddenly the pain left him, as if it were being sucked up by the very light within him. The Jedi Master opened his eyes once more, letting the beauty of Ossus captivate his vision only for a few moments. He took a look down at his hand, almost praying it was in prime condition. Aside from a small puff of smoke extending from the tips of his fingers, his hand looked relatively unharmed. A smile etched itself across Nom's face. He had finally did what he had come to Ossus to do. Despite how wonderful Ossus was, he was ready to head back to the Jedi temple. With the help of the Force, he was able to gather his things with minimal difficulty. Each possesion was loaded carefully onto the small freighter. Nom made sure not to knocking anything out of place, considering how small his vessel actually was. Nom took to the cockpit, readying the systems for takeoff. With a flick of a switch, the ship took off into the air, leaving Ossus behind and dissapearing into hyperspace.
  13. Nom kept silent within his ship, knowing full well what he was going to attempt. The training droid behind him was only for something to do. Form III was just too much for the droids at the temple to handle. The droid was there for Nom to duel while waiting for the moment he needed. He just hoped the weather on Ossus was like it was the last time he was there. He kept his ship in a steady course, knowing that Ossus was just a few hours away.
  14. OOC:Revan I suggest you edit, right now Nom is on the surface of Mimban within the Sith temple. But he is sending a Force message to you, so you can just react to that. IC: As Revan's ship hurtled through hyperspace, he could hear the faint echoes of his Master's voice. "Revan, turn back now. The SIth are gone and your ship will probably not make it through the atmosphere. Get as far away from Mimban as you can."
  15. Nom's starfighter shot through the atmosphere, cutting through it smoothly. That was untill he entered the heart of the storms. As the Jedi Master approached the serface, his ship began to shake slightly, ending its smooth decent into the storms. At first Nom wasn't worried, but his ship started to shake even more, causing several switchs to shake lose. Just as realy panic began to invade Nom's senses, a small shockwave burst through the ship. For a moment, its seemed like nothing happened, but then fighter began to desend towards the temple a little faster than it was suppose to. Something was wrong. "R7 seven, give me a systems check, something isnt right." The droid stationed at the back of his ship chirped in obidence. After a few moments, the Jedi's moniter filled up with the translation. It seemed the rear engines have been completly obliterated. It was nothing but a hunk of metal adding furthur weight to the back of Nom's ship. Fortunately, his ship wasn't as bad as it could have been. The repulser lifts were still operational, as well as the steering. Nom did his best to angle his ship parrallel to the the surface, knowing that it was his best chance. Unfortunately, there was no way of slowing his ship. The Jedi Master closed his eyes, letting all panic slip away. He had entered this state many times before, it was nothing new to him now. He concentrated, clearing his mind of any and everything untill he found that sweet spot within himself. That was where the Force resided. Despite being a Jedi Master, he was no where near powerful enough to halt his ship completely, but he knew he could slow it down enought to keep the vehicle intact upon landing. Sure enough, the Jedi Master was able to feel the momentum getting smaller as his ship came closer to the surface. By the time it touched down, it was going considerable slower. The figher hit the surface at an angle, causing it to slide. Zombie's within its way were taken out like bugs on a windshield. Thanks to the fleets breifing from before, he knew excatly where the Sith temple was, so he managed to land close by. As his ship halted, he was only a hundred feet or so from the temple. Fortunately, the ground troops were keeping the nearby Zombie's busy. Nom used the oppertunity to run towards the Sith base, ready to put his blade's to work. upon entering, he noticed and felt the presence of some Jedi, but nothing of the dark side. Where were they? Something wasn't right at all. All the SIth were gone. His mind traveled to his padawan, not knowing if he was on his way to Mimban or not. After sending a message to his padawan through the Force, Nom made his way over to the other Jedi now residing in the Sith temple. Before he could even noticed Master Kirlocca taking off, leaving the planet all together. There was no way he would run away like that. There had to be a good reason. Something told Nom, he had to get off the planet. Turning his attention back to the base, Nom made his way deeper in, eventually finding Tares. All of the Jedi within the base were moving around hurridly just as Nom was. Tares on the other hand, was not. He seemed to know what he was doing, at least by the looks of it. Nom also noticed the computer counting down nearby. Suddenly a wave of understanding came over. The Sith Temple was going to explode. "Master Tares, do you have an idea on how to escape?" [/i]
  16. Another of the numorus starfighters winked into existance above the Sith planet of Mimbian. The Force immidiately took up a deathy taint that Nom was all too familiar with. The Force infested with the Dark Side was like water infected with dirt. The Sith had the unnatural ability to seep their pungent influence on the most purest of soles. They thrived on pain, using it to power themselves, be it their own or some one elses. Thats what makes them espcially tricky to deal with. But Nom Anorus has fought Sith before. That was his job. It was what he was made for. The Jedi Master could feel the stank echoes of the dark side radiating even around the empty space surrounding Mimbian. He had only attacked the Sith stronghold once before, and that was weeks after he first became a Jedi Knight. The horrid stench was all too apparent then as well. Coordinates and orders came flooding in to his ships computers, giving him every concievable detail he would need to know about the attack. He found bit about Mimbian's atmosphere to be especially useful. He couldn't help but feel quite luck that his ship was in the condition that it was currently suffereing. Nothing else would have motivated Nom to take a Jedi starfighter rather than his own creation. Nom's ship entered the atmosphere, following the others that were desending towards the surface. Fortunately the Rebel fleet above was causing plenty of support fire in order to make a successful landing on the planets surface. The Jedi Master was quick to activate the advance shields that came built into the fighter, giving his ship the ability to cut through the atmosphere like butter. Nom brought his ship down close to the surface and noticed several Jedi starfighters already down there. He opened up a channel to the leader of the ground forces. "Master Kirlocca, this is Master Anorus, where do you want me?"
  17. Another lone starfighter emerged from the surface of Coruscant along with so many others, shooting into hyperspace shortly afterwards. A lone Jedi Master sat within the confines of ship, meditaing on the battle to come. One thing was for shore, he was lucky with the last couple of battles. He survived a few in the past and hoped his luck would hold. But the last time he attacked the SIth strong hold, luck made no presence....
  18. "Ah," Nom said as he retrieved his saber from his padawan. "Fine work, fine work indeed. Now the true training will begin. Using the Force outside of combat is something you have grown accustomed to. But it is a whole different ball game when your blade is locked against that of another. Come, follow me. We need to train around the presence of other Jedi." The Jedi Master turned his back on Revan and steped into his ship, not looking back to make sure his apprentice did the same. He had enough confidence that his padawan could follow orders. Nom had no need to check anymore. The barely working thrusters of Nom's ship blasted to life as the failing piece of metal brought the Jedi Master into the atmosphere of Ilum and later into hyperspace. He didn't even have to reach out with the Force to know that his apprentice was right behing him. ((next post is at the Jedi temple on Coruscant.))
  19. OOC: Excellent post! A small spit bubble increased and decreased in size at regular intervals. It clung to the lips of a slumbering Jedi who was asleep amid the dank metals of his ship. It was starting to smell rather rank. That was another thing Nom added on his to do list. He couldn't help but think buying a new ship might just be easier than trying to fix this piece of metal carbage. Another piece of the ceiling disconnected itself and landed on the floor, creating a rather loud clang. Nom awoke quickly wondering what had caused the noise. Although it didn't take him very long to figure it out. He needed a new ship. He couldn't help but think his current mode of transpertation was beyond his ability to repair. The Jedi Master rolled over again, hoping to fall asleep. He had no idea how long it had been since his apprentice had taken off for the caves. His chronometer was all the way across the hall and he had no desire to go up and get it. He couldn't remember the last time he could be this lazy. He wasn't about to let that feeling end just so he could check what time it was. Just as Nom's eyes were getting heavy, he felt a presence approaching. One that had been quite familiar. His padawan had finished his lightsaber. Nom shot out of bed and headed out of his ship, completely forgetting about how confortable he was. He found his apprentice leaning against his own vessel. The elder Jedi approached the younger beaming a smile larger than anything Revan had ever seen. "So, lets see it."
  20. The boarding ramp of perhaps the most poorly built frieghter lowerd, buring itself into the snow. The creater of the piece of metal garbage now taining the purity of the white snow made his way down the boarding ramp. As soon as the Jedi Master seet foot on the moist surface of Ilum, a lound clank caused Nom to turn around. He faced his ship just in time to see another piece of metal fall off, landing hard into the snow. Nom had no idea what that piece did, or what it was, he just hoped the vessel would still work. Crap, He thought to himself. This piece of junk is falling apart. I should hire a real machanic... The Jedi Master was snapped out of his ship modifacation plans by his approching apprentice. Nom centered his thoughts on the task at hand. Many of his peers would think he was making a bad decision. He was taking his apprentice to Ilum earlier than his previous pupils((say that five times fast)). But since he was able to master form III lightsaber combat, he figured spending more time on lightsaber use was a good idea. It was never too early to learn the art of defense. Revan was a quick learner, he should be alright. "This is a very important step for a Jedi apprentice such as yourself. Amid the heavy mountain ranges of this planet are various caves. These caves each hold crystals. These special crystals are what make a Jedi's weapon work. And now it is your time to construct a Jedi's weapon." Nom unclipped one of his green lightsabers, the first he had ever made all those years ago. He also reached into his pocket and pulled out a metal box, holding everythat was required to construct a lightsaber. "Take this box, use these compounents to build your weapon." Nom also handed his apprentice the lightsaber with the jade green blade. "Use this weapon as a guide. You can take it apart or look inside through the Force, what ever method you choose should suffice." Before sending Revan on his way, Nom put a hand on his padawan's shoulder. "Be careful out there, it can be dangerous. Chances are you'll run into some native creature. May the Force be with you." Just as Revan turned to leave, Nom pulled him back yet again. "Oh, that was my first lightsaber by the way, do be careful with it." Nom winked at his young friend and then watched as he made his way into the unforgiving coldness that was Ilum.
  21. Nom Anorus bowed, letting Revan know his request will be fullfilled. Before he turned to enter his ship, he faced his padawan. "Meet me on the planet Ilum, I will tell you what to do there." WIth that, the Jedi Master boarded his ship and took off towards hyperspace, expecting his apprentice to follow.
  22. "Good Good, that was the kind of reaction I was hoping for. You have to know every thing about the creature in order to touch its mind. Fortunately, the Force allows us to do so." Nom paused for a moment, then continued to speak. "Mind Trick is essential for a Jedi. It is a common methed to use in order to end conflict without fighting. Remember, the use of a lightsaber is our last resort." The Jedi Master moved towards his ship at a slow relaxed pace. It was almost time. "Tell me Revan, is there anything more you would like to learn about the Force?"
  23. "Hmmmm," Nom mumbled under his breath. "This could be dangerous, but we'll worry more about it later. Right now we need to worry about training so more. I don't know about you, but I feel much better than that I had some rest." The Jedi Master got to his feet and took a moment to stretch his lembs. And not a moment too soon, considering the felt like falling to sleep any moment. He put his legs to use and carefully walked into the Forest, making sure his padawan was at his heels. Nom was sure Revan didn't mind taking his mind off of his past. After only walking for a few minutes, the two Jedi came upon a small insect feeding off a nearby flower. "I want you to use the Force and convince that insect to leave the flower for good. We call this the Jedi mind trick."
  24. ((Sorry it took me so long Revan. My internet went down and we had to wait for dad to come home from chicago to fix it.)) Nom leaned backwards a bit, making himself more confortable. "So your telling me you had dreams of being a Jedi and a Sith? You just told me why you had dreams of being a Jedi. You like to help people. But I want to know why you had dreams of being a Sith. Something must have happened during your childhood that would spark these dreams. Do you remember what it is?"
  25. Despite how much his power in the Force has grown, Nom Anorus was still no stranger to fatigue. He lept down from the wall, landing on the grass a little harder than he expected. The impact was painful, but it didn't last very long. The Jedi Master watched as his apprentice followed. By the look on the young man's face, he was no stranger to pain and fatigue either. "Let's take a break for a while, we both could use one." Nom picked a confortable spot under a rather tall tree. The older man too a seat and motion for his apprentice to do the same. "Tell me, why did you dream of being a Jedi?"
