Suluric was led down the well-kept hallways of Havoc's Folly, he took note of every detail of every section that he was being transported through, if things ended up getting ugly he would need to know how to escape. The guards led him to the door that the Governess was behind, and he awaited to be let through.

With several blurs of motion, the Alliance fleet appeared from hyperspace with eight capital ships and full support compliment. One of the capital ships was a massive Star Defender, a Super Star Destroyer's match in single combat, making up for lesser armaments with far better shields.

Admiral Onderin Starlisk, aboard not the Star Defender but one of the MC90a Starcruisers, the Knight's Defiance, immediately started giving orders. Because the Imperials were in a blockade around the planet, their defenses were less than thick in any given point.

The Alliance took advantage of this. They quickly formed into an arrowhead formation and headed straight for a pair of Star Destroyers mostly alone. All eight ships scrambled X-wings and E-wings, having the A-wings stay near the capital ships as support and opting out of lauching B-wings until later on.

"Target the two Star Destroyers with all our forward guns," the Jedi Knight and Admiral said firmly. Hundreds of turbolaser cannons opened fire, burning through space at the two severely outgunned Imperial ships. The Star Destroyers' shields failed on their port side within seconds, and soon holes appeared in their hulls.

They would go down in moments, and the TIEs that they managed to launch would immediately be overtaken by vastly superior numbers of fighters.

The cruisers move with as much haste as they could, lumbering into an octagonal formation in the space above Ilum, the Star Defender on the side closest to the SSD already moving to converge with the rest of the Imperials on the no-longer-outnumbered Rebels.

With only broadsides to offer to the forward wedges of the Star Destroyers, the Alliance ships would be dishing out at least twice the firepower that any Imperial would be able to give.

Admiral Starlisk furrowed his eyebrows in concentration, willing the Force to guide his actions and the orders he gave. The fewer ships they lost here, the more they would have for their next strategically-planned strike only hours later.

Black clasped his hands behind his back as he watched the battle unfold. His Leviathan began to bombard the nearest star destroyer which was much smaller in size. The shields instantly began to take damage.

"Send out the fighters" he yelled to his subordinate. With that hangar bays opened as fighters of all classes swarmed out of their holds.

*Geki arrives at the bridge of the SSD at a run, hearing of the Rebellion's ships seconds after they arrived. He pondered the wisdom of the Rebel attack- with SEED's fleet also present in the system, The combined forces of SEED and the Empire numbered ten capital ships and eight warships, all with full complements of TIE Interceptors, Bombers, and Defenders.*

'All Interceptors and Defenders move to engage the Rebel snub fighters. TIE bombers, initiate sorties on that Leviathan.'

*The squadrons of Interceptors and Defenders swarm over the Rebels, outnumbering them by almost double their number. The space around them springs to life with laser bolts, and so the largest dogfight since the Battle of Endor begins.

Around half of the TIE Bombers regroup and straf the Leviathan . As nearly a thousand proton torpedoes slammed into its defences, the behemoth's shields flickered and gave out, paving the way for its destruction by the remainder of the Bombers, fast clearing the planet and coming around for a devastating barrage.

SEED's fleet, having remained around the Imperial Super Star Destroyer, deploy snub fighters to defend the cluster of ships, and several warships moved to engage the Alliance's nearest capital ships. The two beleagured Star Destroyers engaged sublight engines and ponderously moved around, protecting their shieldess flank. They open fire with their own turbolasers, peppering the aggressor's shields. The capital ships deployed on the other side of the planet begin to make way towards the battle, flanking the Rebel fleet.

Four SEED warships begin to move slowly towards the Alliance's Star Defender. A civilian yacht which foolishly strayed into the system scrambles to get out of the way of the impending battle...*

The small ship bearing remant'e his men dropped out of hyperspace a while later, almost on the other side of the planet, and out of the line of fire of empire, seed and rebellion alike. He knew that the empire and seed would know that he was there, but he guessed they wouldnt bother with such a small ship. Ordering sheilds to be raised to full power, and no offensive actions to be taken unless they were attacked, the ship deployed its compliment of b-wing fighters, as it moved into lower orbit.

From there, a transport was deployed down to the surface of ilum, escorted by the fighters, and guarded by the small frigate.

A single Black Sun star destroyer escorted by twenty-five A-wings moves out from its position in orbit around the planet Ilum. The Black Sun Captain surveys the growing battle with dismay. He sends a communication to the Republic forces.

"Republic warships, discontinue your assault immediately. The Black Sun had a science team on the surface, and a few were taken aboard the SEED ships for questioning. We don't expect they are being arrested, but as long as they are onboard you are endangering civilians. I repeat, civilians are aboard the ships you are attacking."

*Geki comms the Rebel flagship.*

'Attention, Rebel commander; you are hopelessly outmanned and outgunned. Surrender and you shall be spared. Further resistance will result in the massacre of your fleet to a man.'

*The Imperial Interdictor, safe behind the SEED vessels and the SSD, activates its gravity wells. There will be no escape for the Rebel forces.

Geki comms the Black Sun vessel.*

'You may demonstrate your fealty to the new Emperor by assisting the forces of the lawful and reinstated Empire, Captain. The Rebels are finished in any event; your assistance will quicken their end and incur my good will.'

*The remainder of the Imperial fleet continues to converge upon the Rebel location...*

*Trith stood on the bridge of her flagship, observing the battle. Upon her order, the two ships she had ordered out of the system earlier re-entered, directly behind the rebel forces. Their full complements of fighters quickly deployed, and walls of fighters launched torpedos. Two more warships converged on the other side, locking one of the MC90's between the four of them. Its shields died and the life-suppourt systems were taking severe damages, killing many of the gunners and crewmen. bombers made strafing runs, releasing their ordanance. The ship would be nothing but waste soon enough.*

"Yes dear Piccolo, Geki has taken over the Empire, and we captured some Jedi, planetside."

By now, the entire rebel task force was surrounded by the forces of evil.

Piccolo felt the ship shaking with the heat of battle. He knew the Black Sun forces were no doubt engaging their attackers.

"For what purpose have you captured these Jedi? If we both seek the end of the Jedi Order it is best we work together, assuming Mr. Daisaku and Mr. Geki consent. The Black Sun has an abundance of elite operatives, but our Armada is relatively weak. The Empire and SEED have a strong military, but you do not have the volume of specially trained operatives the Black Sun does."

---------------------------------------------------------------

If the Republic was already crippled, the Captain saw no reason to buy more time for the rest of the fleet. He moved the Star Destroyer and A-wings into position. He returned the communication.

"I cannot normally act without word from Captan Piccolo or Mr. Daisaku, but my first duty is to protect our operatives. Our forces our at your disposal."

Onderin smiled grimly, ignoring the comms of the Black Sun, SEED, and Imperial fleets. Nothing would change his mind now, and his fleet was in tactical position enough to make a stand and become victorious against odds and being outnumbered.

Besides, they weren't outnumbered that much...just a pair of cruisers and some support ships.

Admiral Starlisk sent a comm to his Vice, aboard the Star Defender. "Go ahead and roll--give them a fresh set of shields," he said. He sent a similar comm to the other MC90s that had taken extensive shield damage. While their weakened sides were protected, technicians would be scrambling to get new shield arrays in place, a task made much easier by the design of the starcruisers.

The two Star Destroyers that had become victim to the initial strike fell into the atmosphere burning, no longer able to fight or move and being deserted by hundreds of escape pods, which filled the vaccum like gnats near a source of nectar.

"It's time to take the offensive," Onderin decided. He sent a comm to the fleet, "Launch all B-wings and order them to attack that Super Star Destroyer. I want that thing dead. Additionally, devote seven squadrons of E-wings to the task."

He had great faith in E-wings, having fought from one's cockpit in the past. Each carried a payload of sixteen proton torpedoes, and each squadron consisted of twelve ships. Those seven squadrons combined for an unbelievable one thousand nine hundred seven proton torpedoes, many of which were released within a few seconds of each other.

The SSD's upper shields and bridge shields went down with a flash, and the remaining starfighters began to make runs at the bridge, hoping to sneak a few warheads in through the hazard zone of defensive turbolaser fire, many of them failing.

Meanwhile, the MC90s were easily outlasting the Star Destroyers that assailed them, shrugging off turbolaser fire with their advanced shields and dealing out twice as much from concentrated turbolaser banks of their own, focusing damage in specific places and knocking shield banks out of commission faster than the Empire had thought possible.

Already several smaller support cruisers had been destroyed in the chaos.

Onderin knew that his fleet would not only endure--it would prevail.

(OOC: Now witness the firepower of this fully-armed and entirely mod-approved Superweapon... )

IC: *Geki gave the order to initiate the Excalibur Protocol, and at once the fleeing 'Civilian Yacht' turns about face, its superficial fuselage being shed like a Krayt Dragon's skin and revealing a glistening black hull. Powerful shields are initiated, and the bow is protected from a massive amount of damage. The weaker aft of the ship is covered by a swarm of snub fighters and several capital ships, and the highly trained crew within bring the huge rail gun within the forewards hull, already charged in the craft's "flight", to bear on its target.*

'Fire.'

*The rail gun draws power from non-essential systems as it prepares the huge cannon for fire, the firing mechanism jackhammering back as the huge shell is propelled at a velocity roughly equal to the speed of light.

The Star Defender never stood a chance.

The shell tears through the forward shields as if they were inexistent, and as it crashes into the hull the shell deploys huge barbs to slow its journey through the ship and maximise damage. The shell rips through the entire length of the craft, shattering its hull beyond repair, and tears through the main reactor. The craft begins to list even before the shell has exited in a shower of metal and electronics, and the breached reactor pours its deadly radiation into the craft. Minutes later the reactor goes critical and the ship is rent apart as the huge forces within occasion a huge conflagration. All hands are lost.

The Excalibur begins the process of reloading another shell and powering up for another strike.

The Emperor's Fist swivels on its axis to protect its weakened bridge and forwards hull, and technicians begin to manipulate power resources to boost shields. Shields are returned to nominal capacity in a few short minutes.

The snub fighters and SEED warships that remained behind to defend the SSD engage the attacking ships, and with their combined firepower plus the batteries of the SSD the attacking fighters are decimated within minutes, being reduced to a handful of ships.

The Imperial capital ships which had been out of the initial zone of combat clear the planet and flank the attacking Rebels. Three Star Destroyers deploy Bombers and Interceptors as they clear the bulk of the planet and unleash their turbolaser batteries on the weakened sides of two of the beleagured MC90a's. With the combination of proton torpdeo attacks by the Bombers, the two craft's hulls are quickly torn apart by the newly arrived vessels. They spin away, their hulls severely breached, and out of the fight.

With their newly-unveiled Superweapon, the Imperial Navy had claimed three Rebel capital ships already, with a second sortie of TIE Bombers closing in on Admiral Black's Leviathan...*

(OOC: Officer Black, I'll wait for your next post before posting any further action against your craft.)

Unnoticed in the battle, remant'es ship deployed a transport, and its full compliment of B-wing fighters. The transport moved unopposed into the atmosphere, and landed on ilum, where it deployed almost 6000 troops, and ish ka bible.

Remant'e stayed aboard his ship, and once the fighters and the transport returned to the ship, he set a new course. Moving slowly around the planet, to get a good idea of what was going on, he arrived just in time to see the superweapon unfold and discharge. Grinning manically, he opened up a commlink.

Admiral starlisk, this is remante. Leave that giant rail gun to me. Ohhh, and cover me please"

Ordering the ship to be throttled to full, the small space transport moved at a very high speed, and didnt slow down as it approached the weapon. The B-wings and the transport were once more deployed.

At full speed, Remant'es ship smashed head first into the super weapon, slicing straight through the shields, and making a massive dent in its hull. The B-wings began their bombing runs on the ship, and the transport moved in, attempting to dock, with its remaining 1000 troops.

OOC: (sigh) another job interview gone wrong .

The alarms aboard the SSD alerted Suluric of the attacking Rebels, (What a pain.) he thought sourly. It was time he helped out.

Jacobi drove an armored elbow into the helmet of the trooper on his right. Grabbing the blaster rifle in the falling soldier's grasp, as he twisted he heard bones in the soldier's arms snap. He leveled the rifle at the next trooper's knee caps and shot both into carbonized muscle and bone. He examined both troopers pulse, they would be fine, but they would be out of action for now. Suluric rushed to the garbage bay, most soldiers were to busy to notice. Those who did were quickly (non-fatally) put down.

Suluric crammed himself into the garbage area. He sent a transmission via a stolen SEED comlink. The computers and droid units were ordered to open the airlock in his area. Suluric smacked his helmet to secure it as the doors opened and he launched out.

Everything was quiet but all he needed was to look around to realise his environment.

A Star Defender[read Geki's post] blossomed into flame as Republic fighters engaged SEED and Imperial Tie Defenders. Tie Interceptors cut through space and made swift and efficent runs alongside Tie Bombers, letting loose volley after volley of bombs.

One thing that no one else paid heed to at the moment was the fact that a Republic transport was proceeding towards the Super weapon, which had ignited yet another Star Defender, blasting a gargantous hole through it's underside up into the bridge of the ship.

Suluric pushed off from debris that had floated out with him, letting loose a burst from his jet pack. He launched a cord from his arm band at a nearby tie defender, catching it's undercarriage. Normal beings would have at least gone unconcious at the startling speeds that Jacobi was enduring. Suluric however was Mandalorian, and even at that, this was no small feat for him. He climbed behind the pod shaped cockpit where there would be less stress. Then he began scrambling the frequency of the Defender and accessed the comm channel.

"Pilot move your flight squad to the Rail Gun, that Republic transport will commence docking soon!" He shouted into the frequency demanding attention from the pilot.

"Who are you?" the pilot stammered dumstruck as he realised where Suluric was. Jacobi called back "A member of SEED, hurry there's no time!"

As they neared the transport Remant'e's B-Wings commenced the bombings on the Rail gun. Explosions rippled up the shiny black caraspace of the super weapon, causing damage however minimal it was it opened a space big enough for the transport to move in. The Defenders attacked the B-Wings. The TIE next to Suluric's ride exploded, Suluric clung to his transport as heat and debris washed over him. As his Defender strafed over top the transport, Suluric blasted off and landed with an audible grunt on the hull of the transport. His knee had gone numb as he hit and now he desperately grasped to the exterior of the transport.

He slipped a mine out from the confines of his outer armor, one of three that the SEED troops had failed to notice. He commed the Tie Defender to patch him through to Governess Trithalos(SP, sorry).

He slid down the hull towards the boosters that guided the craft toward the Weapon, fully ignited it had turned his helmet bright red as well as the exterior of his jet pack. He set the first mine on the rim of the booster, he was only going to be able to destroy the first one, if that. Suluric slipped another mine out and crawled to another section of the fuselage.

"Governess if you can hear this message, have this transport destroyed as soon as I boost off of it!" Suluric shouted, praying the SEED star destroyers would be able to destroy a sluggish transport. Suluric planted the next mine and drew the final one. He boosted as close as he could get to the ignited boosters without getting charred to a crisp. He attached the mine to his cable and blasted off from the transport spinning he level the cable towards the interior of the booster. It exploded, shortly after the flame flickered. As a coup de grace Suluric detonated the two remaining mines from his armband. The shell of the boosters broke and flaked away from the transports as did the igniter for the booster. Suluric blasted away from the wreckage, hoping Trith had received the transmission.

Trowa continued his banging on the door until it burst open. He ran down the hallway towards the docking bay. He ran past one of the view ports in time to see some massive weapon let loose on one of the attacking ships. It was amazing. He couldn't take his eyes off of the ship”¦ at least until he came under attack. He couldn't just stand there and let them destroy a piece of art such as that.

He entered the docking bay. There were many ships and pilots around. He saw his beat-up stolen A-wing and he saw a newer nicer A-wing.

Trowa's communication did not fall on deft ears. Suluric grinned and called out,

"Call for a bombing run from the TIEs on the transport, I'm going inside the Weapon!" Suluric figured they might listen to a guy with a ship and seemed to be taking authority. Suluric blasted towards the Rail Gun and guided himself into the broken exterior. He eased himself into the airlock and used his code scrambler to crack the nearby code lock. In less than a minute he walked in taking note of the defenders. SEED troopers in space suits stood behind cover and crouched throughout the hall.

"Hold fire!" the ranking officer among the defenders stepped forward

"You ain't Republic I can tell that much. I'm guessing your're that crazy guy outside rigging that transport, right?" the officer had registered the events transpiring outside in the void.

"I need a weapon soldier, where's the armory?" Suluric questioned panting from everything that had been happening. The officer gestured a trooper on his right. "Take this man to the armory and step on it, those Republic troopers are practically on our doorstep."

The soldier beckoned Suluric forward, "C'mon, we need to hurry!" they raced down the corridors, finally coming to the armory. Suluric walked casually up and down two rows of gun racks and explosive cases. He picked out two E-11 blasters, a disrupter pistol, a repeating medium blaster, and to top it off a heavy repeater. He strapped the E-11s to his legs, the medium repeater took the place of his Jet pack which he placed outside the armory in case an explosion turned this room into a bon fire. The disruptor found itself strapped to Suluric's hip, while the Heavy repeater occupied his hands.

As he left he grabbed a sheathed vibroblade and swung it over his back with the medium repeater. He then joined the defenders, readied for whatever was going to come through that door.

I find this hard to believe, first and foremost that a transport would go unopposed with all these ships here, and second, that would be get your ship through with no damage to the superweapon. Even the imperials were not that blind. I don't really see this happening. I have to say that this didn't happen, and not only that...but you can't do that in one post.

"Governess if you can hear this message, have this transport destroyed as soon as I boost off of it!"

*Trith ordered two full squadrons of Scimitar assault bombers, covered by TIE advanceds to proceed in strafing runs on Remant's transoprt. The Excalibur, veered away, taking Suluric with it. Three SEED warships converged upon the transport, turbolasers blasing. The shields failed and the TIEs concentrated fire upon the bridge. Suluric's mines blew gaping holes in the ship's hull, and the warships concentrated their fire upon them. After a time of heavy fire, the transport split, breaking into three pieces. The relentless bombing and strafing runs did not cease until the entire ship was dust. The superweapon was now safe again, Flanked completely by SEED and Imperials.*

*Meanwhile, The four warships attacking the MC90 had taken much damage, because of the much larger ship's adequate defenses. One of them, realising its fate was sealed, devoted power to engines and rammed head on into the bridge of the Cruiser. The remaining warships cannons pounded upon the massive Mon-Calimari craft. Bombers making runs on the surface in neat patterns had destroyed nearly three quarters of the ship's hull, and its life support systems were entirely fried, All reserve processes were drawing upon the power core, attempting to draw far more than the weakening ship could take. Trith voiced orders to her fighters, and the empire pitched in, hearing her orders.

"Concentrate all fire upon the command bridge."

*Upon her order, Wings of fighters launched proton torpedos, blasting large chunks of the hull away. The Turbolasers adjusted and began pulsing their powerful blasts into it as well, finally breaching the hull. All inside the bridge sector were pulled into space or suffocated. The remainder of the ship began drifting toward the planet, and finally ended in a heap of scorched metal upon the surface of Ilum. The Rebel forces were now deprived of their Defender, and all of their capitol craft ((Save that of Admiral Black.)) All that remained would be no match.

Meanwhile, at the SSD, fighters, greatly outnumbering the rebels converged upon the B and E wings, blasting them from the sky in large numbers. Many more fell victim to the SSD and SEED warship's many emplaced weapons. They were realitively unharmed, because the crack pilots had blown most of the torpedos from the sky before they had a chance to hit anything.

Trith turned to Piccolo*

"We captured these jedi because they are that, Jedi. Undoubedly Emporer Geki will appreciate the help Black Sun offers. I will remind you that SEED itself is made up entirely of highly trained operatives. It matters not at this time, though, we can use any help we can get."

*Trith commed Suluric, and then Trowa.*

"Jacobi, The superweapon is fine as of now. Your assistance was critical in the destruction of the rouge transport, continue to wreak havoc upon our enemies."

"Operative Burton, you passed your exam. Engage the pilots of the Rebels, this scuffle will be over shortly."

Trowa received the comm with much joy. The super weapon was safe. He turned his fighter towards the main battle.

It didn't take long for him to get there. Not a lot was left ships were exploding everywhere. He weaved in and out of them. Firing shots here and there. He was playing more of a supportive role for the other fighter pilots, that was until a E-wing got on his tail. He tried to avoid it and lose it but to no avail.

He rolled and moved over and under capital ships but this one was good. He fired shots and hit the back of Trowas ship. Another hit like that and Trowa would be dead and that is the last thing he needed now. He had a job and a newly acquired goal.

He spun and went over one of the remaining capital ships.

”œGet him off of me now.”

If you guys really want to come all the way around and get me, go for it, but im going to assume im still back on the other side of the planet, and you guys didnt just kill me, seeing as i am now no where near the super weapon.))

Remant'es ship deployed all of its troops onto the surface of ilum, along with Remant'e and Ish ka bible. The ships compliment of B-wings joined the troops, and the entire battle group proceeded to the caves of ilum, to attempt to save them. The small ship that had brought them here stayed where it was, attempting to stay out of the conflict completely.

*SEED harsh climate troopers, clad in white, lie upon the surface of the planet, covered by a ridge and the severe weather. Watching the party advance toward the caves, They commed thier comrades via encrypted, private channels, In whispers so as not to be heard.

"We've got company, chalks, withdraw into the caves and rendezvous with the insertion teams. There are Jedi out there, be careful. All available units converge upon the Jedi massed troops and give them hell."

*He also commed the empire for Stormtrooper reinforcements.*

*With that, the commanding ground officer gave a hand signal, indicating attack. SEED troopers buried in the snow, close enough to the group so that the B-wings would not attack, for fear of collateral damage, opened fire on the small force Fully automatic slug rifle fire rang out over the quiet, icy and serene planet of Ilum. The leader, Remant'e, foolishly out in front, leading his troops, took three slugs, Two in the left leg, one destroying his knee and another in his pelvic joint. The last in his right upper torso area. Ish Ka Bibl, being somewhat more cautious, was impacted by only two, one in his right elbow, shattering it and rendering it useless, the other in his midsection, wrending clothing and leaving a very deep gash in his left side. Many of the troops they brought with them in their small ship ((Small ships dont carry 7000 troops, sorry.)) fell, due to the surprise. SEED dropships moved in, easily outmanuvering the B-Wings, that were desined for Space combat, in the Atmosphere, their awkward shape prevented any sudden movements. The dropships moved in, SEED agents opened fire on the b-wings and the Jedi below. Their grenade launchers and slug throwers caused great damage to the snubfighters, whose shields were designed to protect them from energy weapons. Dispite the dropships best efforts, one was shot down, and crashed to the icy surface in the middle of the Jedi's massed troops and exploded, causing many casualties. The obscured SEED agents continued spraying fully automatic fire about the force, cutting them down. Their opponents showed severe lack of training, as they attempted to return fire upon the unseen enemies. Inside the cave, many more SEED agents prepared for the jedi, setting traps and taking up strategically sound positions. The commander, watching from the ridge, about a quarter mile away, commed the Jedi.*

"You are violating regulations. submit to investigation and disarmament."

OOC((Wow this is all pretty harsh....thanks for waiting in any case Geki.))

IC: Ignoring Admiral Starlisks order to let all ships attack, Black held his fighters within their docking bays. Pilots could be seen figgiting in their cockpits...itching for the chance to spill some imperial blood.

Aboard the bridge, Black watched as the Admirals ship was shattered by this new weapon, as many of the other capital ships in the fleet were downed almost simultaneously. Black's head hung low momentarily, hair covering eyes only lit up by the few laser batteries of his ship that he had allowed to work as they swatted tie intercepter and defender alike out of space like flies. "Onderin....he spoke in a low, cold voice."

The vice admiral now looked to be in charge of the fleet remnants for the remainder of this battle. His eyes flaired as he looked over to his subordinate standing directly behind him to his right. "Fire up the tractor beam and hold whatever the hell that thing is in place!" Black pointed a rough finger at the new imperial weapon..... "Jam all their communications so that they can't coordinate anymore attacks."

The massive Viscount class ship had taken the enemies best so far, but the enemy had not shown the Leviathan its worst. The new weapon had shown its devistating power thus far, but as the tractor beam projected towards it, the massive 'civilian yacht' became as still as a jedi in meditation. It could not move as the massive tractor beam of the Leviathan held it steady.

Black smiled a ragged smile, not seen since his days as a podracer. "Deploy our fighters, and concentrate all fire on what is left of their super star destroyer."

Their was one small chance left....Maybe not for a victory, but for a stalemate of sorts. The Leviathan, much too powerful for even three Star Destroyers to try to take on....."Revert auxilary all power to the shields", Black shouted as he jabbed his finger towards a Rodian ensign.

With the shields powered the many dormant turbolaser batteries fell into a plethora of repeating fire, filling up space with focused energy. The Super Star Destoryer began losing its engines blood red glow as the city like structure on its top took laser hit after laser hit and turbo laser after turbo laser.

Black glanced down his hull as the squadrons of fighters exited their hangar bays. "I want the two squads of B-Wings to pound that ships shields with proton torpedos, the rest of the fighters engage any and all TIEs. The lone ship began to fight valiantly for it's life, and that of its crew.

The confused imperial ships had no way of communicating with eachother anymore, as the alliance codeworkers changed over encryption after encryption to fumble an attempt to get imperial communications back on track.

Black stode personally back to his quarters and sent an encrypted message to Kirana Sunrider. As quickly as he'd left it, the vice admiral was back on the bridge to supervise the battle.

As the surface battle group was attacked, Majority of the shots were taken by the 500 elite troops that were leading the way. Remant'e, and the 500 elites were clad in full plasteel armour, and the slugs for the most part bounced off harmlessly. The few slugs that did manage to get past the elites wreaked hell in the rest of the rebel forces, killing 50 men, and injuring quite a few more.

Spreading out quickly, The rebel forces deployed their snipers and grenadiers, who quickly dug in and dropped into the snow. The remaining troops followed suit, and medics began tending to the wounded.

Remant'e and his 500 elite armoured troops quickly drew their dual blaster pistols, and aided by the armours inbuilt gyroscopic stabilizers and aiming facilities, Opened fire as the moved forwards towards the seed troopers.

As the elites moved forwards, the grenadiers covered them, releasing volley after volley of grenades, and the snipers picked off anyone silly enough to raise their heads to see if it was over. All of this occured within 30 seconds, Leaving the SEED troops in disarray, and killing off 200 of their troops.

The rebel bombers didnt fair so well, taking massive tolls, loosing half of the small contingent. Remant'e ordered them back to the main ship that was still holding its position in orbit, and continued the assault.

((The orbital ship is a frigate, and it deployed a transport to drop troops planetside. I said it was a frigate in my first or second post here. As for training, Ive spent the last couple of months in RL posting them being trained, so i think they are far better trained than anything you have. Have fun combating my troops))

Innevitability took its tole on the remnants of the fleet....As the massive ship sustained more damage and the fighters returned to their hangars, Black received an intrigueing call, one he couldn't resist.

With coordinates set, and the imperial superweapon still held firmly in the tractor beams grasp the ship jetted into hyperspace with imperial lasers still firing on the position in space where the Leviathan once resided.

(OOC: Sorry, Black, but I posted firing up the Interdictor. Your vessels cannot leave.)

*IC: The Excalibur is caught momentarily in the Leviathan's tractor beam, but the dense swarm of snub fighters flitting around it means the the beam's pull is constantly being interfered with. The Excalibur takes advantage of the breaks in immobilisation to maneouvre around towards its next target, the rail gun recharging and a new shell being loaded. Within minutes another Rebel ship would fall to its might...

The Leviathan was, in short, doomed. Having maneouvred closely enough to attack the Super Star Destroyer, it had perhaps unwittingly ensured that it was subject to attack from the huge number of snub fighters at the location, the SEED warships still defending the area, and the Super Star Destroyer's huge turbolaser and proton missile emplacements. The combined might of the huge amount of fire poured onto its shields brings them down within seconds. The second sortie of TIE Bombers arrives with impeccable timing, and as almost a thousand proton torpedoes cut through the ship's hull its engines and several subsystems fail. The behemoth drifts dead in space, pulled inexorably down by Ilum's gravity...

As one SEED frigate maneouvres into place before the SSD, shields are restored and the entire fleet closes on the remaining and massively outnumbered Rebels. The SSD remains on the fringes of the battle along with the Superweapon and the Interdictor, protected on their flanks by the bulk of Ilum and a few squadrons of remaining fighters. All other Bombers, Defenders, and Interceptors close on the Rebels with the remaining five Star Destroyers, plus the SEED Star Destroyer and six warships.*

----------------

*On the surface of Ilum, the newly-landed Rebel forces clearly hadn't reckoned on the 2,000 Imperial Stormtroopers which had been left behind to scour the caves for further Jedi. The Stormtroopers emerge from the cave in battle formation, the foremost troopers dropping to one knee and covering their colleagues whilst they advanced. The hugely outnumbered Rebels began to drop like flies.*

As the stormtroopers emerged, Remant'es elites retreated, before breaking off towards the caves. The SEED troops were occuppied by 1000 rebel troops moving into their position, covered by the grenadiers and the other troops.

The snipers changed their firing patterns, now aiming at the storm troopers rather than the SEED troops.

As the elites progressed towards the 2000 storm troopers, They were slowly diminished by blaster fire, but as the storm troopers were tightly packed, after having just emerged from the caves, they were cut down far faster by the elites. Each elite bore two blaster pistols, firing constantly as they moved forwards, their aim aided by gyroscopic stabilizers. As the Elite rebel troops drew closer to the stormtroopers, they holstered their blaster pistols, and drew vibroswords. By the time they engaged the imperial troopers, there were 250 troops left, but now that they were in close combat, the imperials would have far more trouble dealing with them.

Very soon, the imperials had lost 500 of their storm troopers, and the seed had lost another 200 troops to grenades and the close combat onslaught of the rebels.

The remaining rebels began moving forwards towards the storm troopers, Ready to open fire if the elites were defeated, or withdrew.

*As the Rebels neared the caves stormtroopers secreted in the nooks and crannies of the exterior crystal clusters opened fire from above, the Rebel position afire with blaster fire. High above a demo charge is exploded, and huge chunks of razor-sharp crystals fall on the Rebel position.*

Remant'e continued leading the elites forwards, through the dust cover provided by the demo charges. The rock shale bounced harmlessly off of the plasteel armour, as they progressed into the rocks. Hunkering down, the elites took cover in the rocks, and let the snipers pick off the storm troopers at their leisure.

As all of this was happening, the rebel troops mopped up what was left of the SEED troops, killing off any survivors mercilessly. Once this was complete, one of the troopers commed the ship that was still in orbit above their position. Another, far smaller transport came down through the atmosphere, dropping two E-webs off, which immediately began to set up, under the guard of 300 rebel troops.

The rest of the rebel troops, now numbering 5000 in total, dug in and began opening fire on the imperial storm troopers, barraging them with blaster fire and grenades.

Meanwhile, Remant'e and his 100 remaining elite troops started moving up towards the imperials, taking cover in the rocks, and taking out any storm troopers they encountered using blasters, vibro swords and thermal detonators. Wherever they had to cross an open space, they would bring up dust using grenades or explosives, using it for cover.

Trowa burst through the door holding him in the office. He ran down the hallway, stopping at a view port. He could see the super weapon and the massive battle.

He contimued down to the hallway to the hanger that was holding his ship. He arrived shortly and borded his A-wing.

He took off and entered the battle. THere was no way he would just sit and watch. He wanted to have some fun.
