Shadrach looked at Julio incredulously. It seemed unlikely that his current client would work for Viktor; from his posture alone he seemed more potent a man than that of his old master. Perhaps Julio meant that he had worked for Viktor's master, a woman to whom he had not been introduced. If that was the case, then perhaps his client knew even more of the Force than Viktor had.

"Small galaxy."

Shadrach stashed the pen and glanced at his chrono.

"She's late. I expected better from her. If we're to be snubbed, what's your course of action?"

Julio leaned back, his correspondence finally finished. He sighed before responding, wondering whether or not telling Shadrach his plans would have any repercussions. For all Julio knew the room was bugged. He thought for a second before determining the outcome would be the same either way.

That really depends. If we're simply blown off, I'll formally insist another meeting. If we continue to be blown off, I'll leave, returning with...government aid to ensure the law is followed out. Should the meeting actually take place, but head south, I'll take similar action.

Julio reached into his coat's surprisingly deep pockets, pulling out a black papered cigarette. He lit it with one hand, enjoying the first breath of sweet stimulus before continuing.

But I really don't think that will be an issue. Mrs. Nargal would have little legitimate reason to say no, and I don't exactly plan to be completely unfair about the matter.

"Of course."

Those things'll kill you.

Shadrach watched his client smoke, passively identifying patterns in the resultant fumes. He could smell it from where he was sitting, and while it was not unpleasant, he had an aversion to unduly weakening his body.

"So, do you expect you'll need further assistance from a legal consult in future?"

"Excellent."

Shadrach allowed the matter of future employment to rest.

Let's resolve this business first.

He sat, attentively awaiting Ms. Nargal's arrival.

Zara looked up as a tall human man entered her office. The sense that she got through the force as it faded from her was that it was Idejjen. The dulling of her senses as the ysalamari bubble surrounding him reached her.

"I don't think I'll ever get used to your different appearances Idejjen. If it wasn't for the Force bubble surrounding you I'd be hard pressed to know it was you on first sight."

She gave a quirkey smile up at him then looked at the chrono on the wall.

"I have to go to a meeting now. Hmm... how about you join me in it. I'm not sure about this person that wants the meeting. The message I got was that he 'wanted an audience with me in two hours'. He didn't ask and see if that time was convieniant for me, just stated it. As it happened I will be busy at that time. You would think he'd have manners enough to ask. Anyhow, I'd like you to come along."

Zara pushed her chair back from the desk, stood up and moved around to the front of the desk. The two left her office, Zara leading the way towards the meeting room, only stopping when they reached it, waiting to let her Security Officer enter first. She paused, then turned back towards Idejjen, her voice low so it wouldn't carry. She stepped closer making sure that he would be the only one to hear her words.

"I'd like for you to check the room as per security protocols then go to the control room to monitor the procedings from there. I'd like to have all my wits about me in here. You can comm me with anything you come up with, I'll use my implant so that it's all silent."

Her words were aimed to let him know that she didn't want the effect of the ysalamari dulling her senses without letting on. Zara was sure he knew that she had the implanted comm from when she first brought up the subject with him during his initial interviews.

Idejjen smirked at Zara's response and then figured something was going on because she had that look in her eye... So, Idejjen was willing to take whatever request she had for him and immediately accept it... Partly because he was bored out of his gourd, but other then that ... She was his boss... So when she said she had a meeting and wanted him to come along, there was no hesitation in Idejjen's figure and they both walked rather uniformly out the door...

Idejjen followed Zara down the corridors to the meeting room which she had indicated, and then saw her performing rather peculiar behaviors, but then he noticed for what purpose she was making them... She didn't trust those inside the meeting room...

Then, she said to him in whisper...

"I'd like for you to check the room as per security protocols then go to the control room to monitor the proceedings from there. I'd like to have all my wits about me in here. You can comm me with anything you come up with, I'll use my implant so that it's all silent."

Idejjen looked confused for a moment, but then understood that she wanted all her wits about her... Idejjen recalled that she was a force user and that those would be the senses that she indicated... Of course, with Idejjen and Zara in the ysalamari bubble even the people inside the room could not read their thoughts... So there was no harm in planning out here, but if he went inside with her that would damper her advantages...

So, Idejjen Led Zara into the room and checked the exits... It seemed the only exit was the way they came... So Idejjen suggested rather quietly that Zara position herself closest to the door...

Then he noted the two security cameras naturally unnoticeable by anyone who wasn't looking directly at them, perched precariously on both sides of the roof latched to the ceiling...

Then Idejjen paged forward for two security Guards to be placed outside this door to make sure nothing too bad would happen...

Then Idejjen told her that he would just be a comm away... if she ever did need him to just comm and he would be there in a flash... With this Idejjen turned full circle and headed to the control room... He noted the security guards going toward the room, and otherwise did not see any other strange happenings going on from the conference room to the control room which he then entered...

Idejjen placed himself at the controls after excusing another of the guards to other duties... And he placed up on the front security screen the feed from the conference rooms... Yet he did not mask the other important feeds...

Idejjen then commed Zara that everything seemed ok right this second and reminded her that he was just a call away... "The two men don't appear to be suspicious except for the man in dark clothing; he looks rather shady.... but the man in the business suit... I don't know - I'll check if they are on record with the Golden Link Security database and get back to you - meanwhile, if you need me don't hesitate to ask... I feel I am emphasizing this a great deal, but I would never want anything to happen to you..."

Julio felt the new presence marching down the hall far before it reached the door. He sat himself upright, looking a touch more dignified in the elegant business room when all of the sudden the presence stopped before the door, then completely vanished.

Shi-

He shifted in his seat. The sudden disappearance didn't suggest anything good. If they had the ability to withdraw themselves from the force, this person would be strong in the force. Alarms rang out inside his mind as he began enforcing his mental defenses, raising the walls of his internal labyrinth far beyond what he was prepared for. Feeling far more secure, he let himself relax until he remembered how much his associate knew. Ever so delicately, Julio reached out to Shadrach.

It would seem we have visitors. I'll just take a little seat here in your head in the off chance they want to take a peek.

By the time the door opened, Julio was smiling. He stood as Zara entered, taking his seat only after she did. There was another man with her, likely a security officer from his manner. When the two got some distance between them, the presence of Zara became readily more apparent, while her security officer did not. Now he was curious. Julio stretched himself outward in an attempt to get a feel for the man, only to be cast off like smoke against glass.

So, this man is withdrawn from the force. Interesting little tidbit to know.

The security officer left, soon replaced by two men standing outside the door. Now that everything seemed to be comfortably secure, Julio spoke up.

A pleasure to meet you, Ms. Nargal. My name is Julio Furion. This is my associate, Shadrach Fenri. We're here to discuss your acquisition of Roon.

Two guards outside, one hulker of an enforcer, and the "contact," a female human. Probably more security in the halls.

It would seem we have visitors. I'll just take a little seat here in your head in the off chance they want to take a peek.

I, er... Okay. This is... Um... "Mahri had a little wampa, little wampa, little wampa..."

Very much like Viktor. Shadrach recentered himself. If the prime enforcer was leaving two cronies in his wake, he was probably going to monitor them remotely. He had seen several likely places for cameras, but wasn't sure which, if any, was actually equipped. It didn't matter of course; Shadrach simply couldn't help but question these things.

Shadrach reseated himself once she sat, and smiled, nodding congenially as he was introduced.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. We intend to not take too much of your time... My client has documents here proving his prior claim to the planet Roon, as willed to his friend and mentor Exodus by its original owner, the late Trowa Barton. As you can see, in Exodus' absence, Mr. Furion is legal guardian and custodian of Exodus' entire estate, including the planet in question."

Shadrach slid the datapad with the relevant information over to Zara, highlighting Trowa Barton's will.

"It was a private will; so your ignorance of the planet's complex ownership status is entirely understandable. My client has no intention of pursuing legal action against you for your efforts to develop his planet; he only wants to formally secure what his mentor had coming to him."

He punctuated the last line by pointing to the appropriate sub-clause, naming Julio Furion everything up to and including heir and successor to Exodus.

((can someone delete my posts as arclight in this thread?... if not thats ok... its just sometimes... well I won't bore you with the story...))

At the calmness of the transactions Idejjen went ahead and skipped the analyzation of the two men through the Golden Link's Database unless Zara really wanted him to do it... He even told her through her internal comm...

Listening to what was going on he began to think that the transaction would be simpler than he thought, but he also heard the Name "Barton" Similar to the two patrons that rolled in the other day and then mysteriously disappeared...

Even with this new knowledge however, Idejjen remained diligent in his viewing of the security camera feeds....

((OOC: Err.... guys. You might want to rethink your posts. The ysalamari bubble would have surrounded Zara as they walked along the corridor so that you wouldn't have felt her through the Force until Idejjen had left. where I mentioned it 'dulled' her senses, I meant as he came closer to her the force left her so that she couldn't feel the force, therefore dulling her senses. I should have elaborated more - it was late when I wrote the post)

As Zara stepped into the room, the first thing she had noticed was the red coat, glasses and hat that Julio Furion was wearing and the smile on his face so much like anothers... even down to the shape of his face. Her eyes widened slightly but other than that she didn't give any indication with regards to his appearance. As she took her seat, silently she sent a message through use of her implanted comm chip for Idejjen to fully check both men's history. She wanted to know what she was up against here.

Why would he come in here dressed like Ronin? His mention of Roon pricked her attention, the woman raising a delicate eyebrow. Had Ronin decided to make a play? Was this all a rouse? Ronin had ripped her off before, chalking up his 'armoury' purchases to Zara's account which led to her changing all of her details and blocking his access. Had he sent Julio to do his dirty work regarding Roon?

"I'd like to see these documents authenticated. Who is this Exodus you speak of?" Zara wondered if Kheldar would be back from his vacation so that she could contact him with regards to this matter if need be.

Her grey eyes narrowed as she shifted her gaze back to Julio, deciding on a more confronting tack. "What's your connection to Ronin Wartide."

Zara felt he had to have some connection to Ronin to come in here dressed like him. Was he intending to use the Pirate's tricks to take the shipyards away from the Casino? There was something about this man that had her wary. She directed her attention towards him, feeling some kind of familiar sense through the Force that told her that he had to be related to Ronin in some way or another. At the same time, she strengthened her own mental barriers. Her spine straightened, her attention split between the two men. There was something about this other man that she didn't trust either...

Kalyani shimmied back in her seat, getting in a comfortable position to what the movie. Kane laughed at his sister, the two digging each other in the ribs before settling down. They were both nervous about watching this movie, even though it would be played by an actor that only looked like their father.

"You know what this movie is about?"

The dark haired twin turned her head towards the girl that spoke. She tilted her head letting the long raven locks fall over her shoulder as she sized up the girl before answering her with a mischievous smile.

"It's about Ronin Wartide the Pirate King. Surely you'd have heard of him?" She paused only slightly, her eyes shifting to look into the golden orbs of her brothers before she turned back, "He's our Dad".

Rose shifted in the adult size seat as the girl next to her spoke.

"No, I haven't. We didn't watch many movies at...home." She caught herself, almost breaking her secret. Julio had said if anyone knew she was from the temple they'd try to take her back.

The lights went low and the movie started. Rose sank low in her seat, suddenly aware of how little she knew about the world outside of the Jedi. Not long into the movie, the famed Pirate King made his appearance. It didn't take her long to make the connection.

He looks like dad...

---------------------------------------------

"I'd like to see these documents authenticated. Who is this Exodus you speak of?"

Julio sat forward, leaning his elbows across the table. He began to speak before Zara spoke up again.

"What's your connection to Ronin Wartide."

Now he was confused. Why, of all things, would she ask that? Julio had never even heard of the man, let alone have a connection to him. He pushed himself outward, again using the dark side in an attempt to enter Zara's mind. Ever so delicately he pushed, stopping at the walls she had put forth. He removed himself with similar grace and subtly, making sure his presence continued to go unnoticed.

Wartide? Can't say I know him, honestly. I've been rather secluded for the past few years. As far as the documents are concerned, I assure you they're all legit, but you're free to check them.

Zara looked at him with disbelief showing in her eyes at his proclaimation of not knowing him. The lithe woman stood, leaning forward with her hands now resting on the table in front of her.

"You don't know him?" Her voice showed the disbelief also, her hand raising to point out his appearance. "You wear his trademark gear right down to the glasses and you say you don't know who the Pirate King is?" anger tinged her tone. "Believe you me I'll check those documents over and they better be legal."

Her hand tapped a button along the side of the table, a monitor rising up from the table, along with a keyboard. She brought out a cable, connecting it to the datapad and sending the document off to be authenticated. Then with a few strikes of the keyboard, Zara swivelled the monitor around so that Julio and Shadrach could see it. On the screen was Ronin Wartide, larger than life and dressed exactly like Julio, the only difference between them being the other man's age.

"Now tell me you don't know him." Her voice dripped with sarcasm.

Julio leaned forward, disbelief held behind his stern gaze. The man on the screen looked exactly like him. Why had he bought this exact set of clothes? A whim? Now it seemed that was impossible. His golden eyes darted around the screen with lightning speed, burning the image into his mind. Without missing a heartbeat, his gaze turned to Zara. Again, he stretched forth his mind, this time disregarding grace in favor for raw power. With little effort Julio ripped through the unsuspecting woman's mental defenses, making a bee line for one particular thought. Standing amongst the blizzard of Zara's mind, Julio moved through the storm until a crimson sparkle shined beyond the rest. He latched on, riding the memory as deep as it would go. At the tail end of it, Julio sat back down in his chair, releasing Zara from his hold.

I'm...I'm sorry. I had to know. I never...never knew.... His words trailed off, a look of utter confusion and defeat on his face. This whole time, the man that had destroyed his family, his home, his life... He wanted it to be a lie, wanted decades of hate to be validated. After a few seconds he sat back up. Nothing had changed. His parent's killer would still die by his hand. Julio returned his visage to the stern look he had been so accustomed to.

I bought the cloths on a whim at one of the various stores at this very casino. I had never known who he was until now. This is the truth. Not a hint of fallacy in my voice. However, this is not pertinent to the matter at hand. I apologize for my actions and any distress my choice of attire may have caused you, but right now we are discussing Roon.

Her hands clenched around the edge of the table, her knuckles turning white as she tried to keep him out of her mind. Her grey eyes turned a stormy hue as her face contorted with all her memories of Ronin breaking to the surface. Zara had worked so hard to bury all of her memories of Ronin, even when the twins had recently began to question her more and more about their father. This, this brought everything back, starting with everything good and ending with everything bad.

Zara's eyes closed, her lips moving with softly murmured, uncoherant words. An unnatural wind began to pick up around the room, slowly at first, then swirling faster the more upset the witch became. Along with that howling wind was the hurt she was hard pressed to supress from her raw emotions.

I'm...I'm sorry. I had to know. I never...never knew.

Zara heard his words as if from a distance, the woman struggling to push back down what she didn't want to remember. Wild stormy grey eyes flashed open to meet the visage of the glasses on a confused face. "Sorry won't cut it" Her words snapped out, a probe of her own lancing out towards Julio to pull out the reason why he had attacked her mind. Feeling his emotions towards Ronin, the reason for his confusion became clearer. He was related to him. The wind died down somewhat, still swirling around the room, though not quite as fierce.

However, this is not pertinent to the matter at hand. I apologize for my actions and any distress my choice of attire may have caused you, but right now we are discussing Roon.

Zara couldn't help but glare at him, "You're attire?!? Never... NEVER, EVER do that to me again", her words still laced with the painful memories and anger, also the threat that it wouldn't be taken lightly if he did.

The following words were then muttered in a soft angry tone more towards management than the two men in the room. "that blasted movie! They never should have gotten round me on that!" Management had conned her into showing the movie based on Ronin on the holodeck. What she hadn't realised was that the merchant sector had been selling 'his' outfit ever since, even after she'd said for them not to. This was the first she'd seen the 'matching' outfit.

It took a while longer for the wind to drop completely as Zara finally took control of her emotions, placing barriers around her battered inner self. To distract herself, she pulled the screen back around to check the authenticity of the documents. They seemed to check out. This was one time she wished Kheldar was around.

The improvements? You never had authorization to implement said improvements. What did you think happened when Trowa Barton died? He would just leave the planet to whoever got there first? Did you even take any legal action to check on this sort of thing? Surely you would have come across his lawyer with little difficulty, especially given the resources at your disposal. By law everything, including your improvements, are the property of my master.

His tone was soft with the lightest air of sarcasm. He hadn't meant to be so crass, but since his recent revelation he had put himself on the defensive.

However, my master has faith in my ability to settle this matter with as little public notice as possible, so I'm willing to make concessions. Ignoring the cost of your use of our facilities, and the cost of de-constructing any so-called improvements my master disagrees with, we will allow you to continue your use of the shipyard until your current projects are finished. Afterwards you will be allow to open negotiations for the prolonged use of our facilities. This can be a very advantageous partnership, Ms. Nargal, should you choose to accept it.

((I was trying to be courteous by asking you, so I am sorry if this is something you didn't want Furion - me giving away information of yours... I tried to make an excuse not to put more information in... so ... I hope that helps.))

Idejjen received notification from Zara to look up the rather shady characters up, and this time brought up a Giant network involving documentation on many people within the galaxy... receiving picture ID from the security cameras Idejjen managed to find info on the man in the suit who wasn't currently pushing Zara's buttons...

"Ok Zara, it seems like the first male... the one not currently pissing you and I off" Idejjen had been watching the room being torn up with the chaotic winds... And Idejjen too had recognized the face of a man that had almost killed him.... "He doesn't seem to have a large document on him, but he seems to be Shadrac Fenri, nickname Shad.. He's 24, an Echani? Whatever that is, he hails from Thyrsus - He doesn't seem to have long history as a lawyer... Now, as to the other man..."

Idejjen had to search a great deal for this man... The reason for which he had no excuse, but it seemed as if this man's record of existence was actively trying to elude him... It also didn't really help that he currently looked like the pirate king....

"Ok, all I got is that his name is Julio Furion, he's 22, he is known to travel with a little girl... or at least according to Link records he came in with a little girl...And he is also listed here as a...." Idejjen hesitated for a moment and then uttered through his comm, "a Sith Lord..." No wonder I couldn't find record on him Idejjen thought.... people like that go through great lengths to hide their identity....

"Ok, Zara... Thats all I got on it... Other than that, I can't do much more... And Zara, be careful..." A deep sound of concern in his voice before he stopped talking and waited for Zara to respond....

The movie had the twins enthralled, leaning forward in their seats so as not to miss anything that was portrayed. They knew from information they had gleened from their mother and from staff members that the movie was based on fact and not fiction. Towards the end of the movie it even had someone portraying their mother, telling of the romance between them. It ended with "Zara" pregnant with the twins and "Ronin" taking off in the "Gravebreaker" to who knew where in the Universe. With the screen darkening to black as the "Gravebreaker" disappeared into hyperspace, the lights of the holodeck came up slowly. The twins looked at each other, wondering what their mother would think of them having seen the sometimes violent movie. They had been spellbound by watching the exploits of "Ronin", "Tekkan Raas" and "Rane Scando".

"Wow Kally... no wonder Mum didn't want us seeing some of that. That was full on..." Kane's voice trailed off. Both twins turned to look at the girl sitting next to them, "Don't think we caught your name. I'm Kane and this is my sister Kalyani. What did you think of the movie?"

=====

Zara gave no indication that she had received the comm from Idejjen, her face giving off the hardened expression of a business woman now in control of herself and not happy with what she was hearing. Silently she sent another message back to Idejjen telling him to send a copy of the documentation as well as information on what had already occured in this meeting to Kheldar on the off chance the businessman and silent partner of the Link was back from wherever he had disappeared to. Her gaze locked on that of Julio's.

"You should think yourself lucky that the Link stepped in. As it was I had my lawyers speak with Trowa's people on Roon when I first heard that his other holdings were being taken over. Only for the fact that the Link had built the original complex for Trowa did we know how to get through the defenses and were able to get there ahead of the others. A man calling himself "Slicer" took control of Désir Foncé on Byss and I had heard rumours of other organisation that would have snatched up both locations also."

Zara shifted her gaze between the two men. "So tell me, why did you take so long to approach us? And why didn't your 'Master' approached us himself? From what I see, it won't be advantageous for the Link at all. The Link improved the shipyards, The Link brought the orders to it. What sort of compensation will the Link get out of this?"

During her first self righteous rant, Julio had remained calm and stern, taking each of her words in stride with ease. He knew he had already won from the fury in her voice. It wasn't about the pain of Ronin's memory, it was about the business deal. Like Julio, she easily cast aside meddling thought and was able to submerse herself back into the real matter at hand. Though, when she began questioning his master's motives he snapped. There were many things Julio was able to handle, letting taunts and insults roll off him, but the questioning of his master's motives was something he would not tolerate. He stood up, his right hand smashing against the table. His golden eyes flared near white as they met Zara's.

Do not dare question my master! His wisdom is far beyond any of our comprehension, and I shudder at the thought of even attempting the feat. If my master wished to hold this meeting in person, he would have.

He removed his fist from the splintered crater and placed his palm flat on what is left of the smooth wooden table. With the pressure valve on his building anger released, Julio composed himself, this time speaking in a much softer, casual tone.

The rest of Trowa Barton's properties are not my concern. All that was left to my master in Barton's will was Roon and everything with it. You and I both know the documents are real. All you're trying now is to try to squeeze every decicred you can out of my master before you're forced to hand it over. I understand. It's you're duty as a practiced business woman to do so.

He paused for a moment, reaching up to remove his glasses. He exhaled on the pair lightly, then began cleaning the lenses.

How about this. You can have administrative power over the shipyard. You'll run everything involving the shipyard, including who's contracts it will take. My master will still remain owner of the docks and profit will be split, forty-five fifty-five, you're lead. We'll still have access to the shipyard, of course, should personal need arise.

((Hey Shadrach, who said my character knew what an echani was? maybe I did, but I was trying to convincingly play my character ))

Noticing the escalation of the delegation Idejjen hastily puts Zara's orders into fruition... He had to look KKvC's number up, but it didn't really take long since he had been affiliated with the link before... THen Idejjen hastily composed him a message... hoping with all his might that he would get it...

::Comm to King Kheldar vos Correlli::

Hello, Kheldar

This is a Link security officer calling you on behalf of Zara Nargal...

She has requested your assistance in negotiations over the planet Roon and the Links ownership of said Planet. She is currently in one of the Link's conference rooms with a one Julio Furion, and Shadrach fenri. Julio is proving to be a tough sell, and a very dangerous man, but besides his name and child companion I have nothing on him. Shadrach Fenri however is 24, an Echani, he hails from Thyrsus - He doesn't seem to have long history as a lawyer. These men could potentially lead the delegation with crafty wordplay and intimidation, and since you are a known businessman I think it would be possible for you to even the scales. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this message and I hope you get back to us soon...

(OOC: Alright, enough of this "whatever that is" business: For your perusal. Also, Shadrach's not on record anywhere IC as a force user; though he is force sensitive, he has not yet developed, and it is improbable that anyone would know.)

Shadrach gritted his teeth behind a tight smile. For a moment, everyone in the room had gone mad. Force users were confusing. When things settled down somewhat, he permitted himself a slightly sardonic grin.

"You misunderstand your position, madam. 'What is advantageous for the Link' is our concern only as a courtesy; we are not beholden to you in the slightest. We came to you only as a professional gesture."

Shadrach snorted at the mention of Slicer.

"Perhaps Mr. Slicer should be thanking you. If he had committed such a farce as this, suffice it to say that my client would not have hired a legal consult to settle the matter. I'm sure you're familiar with the traditional means of 'conflict resolution' among the Sith. I suggest you take what you've been offered and count yourself fortunate that my client holds you in such high regard."

Shadrach's smile relaxed again, then his eyes widened at his client's closing concession. Though his face quickly calmed, his thoughts were perturbed.

She should be paying you rent! If she's too I am a racistrdly to take this offer, you should just wipe Roon clean and start over. It'd be cheaper!

As Julio began to rave on about his Master Zara felt her spine straighten, the proud woman preparing herself mentally in case he decided to pull a typical sith stunt and take a more agressive turn for the negotiations. This seemed like it was going to be the case as he put a crater in the table. She stood, distancing herself physically from the two men, her hand resting now on the button that would alert the security members standing right outside of the door, her mind reviewing the different spells she could use to prevent this from getting too much out of hand. She already knew that Idejjen would initiate protocols having seen the incident on the monitors. The only thing preventing security from bursting into the room being that Zara hadn't given the signal as yet.

With Julio's tone softening to a more subdued tone, she remained with her hand resting over the button though didn't depress it just yet. While knowing that Julio resembled Ronin with his dark hair, clothing and body shape, she wasn't prepared for the golden eyes that he revealed. He did look so much like a younger exact version of Ronin. Apart from his blonde hair, Kane resembled both men also, with the same golden gaze. She swallowed her reaction back, refusing to let the reaction bubble up.

....I understand. It's you're duty as a practiced business woman to do so.

Thoughts of how to retaliate to that flew through Zara's mind, the only thing preventing her from doing so being his offer. It seemed he was prepared to be reasonable after all. She pursed her lips, considering his offer in a serious manner.

"You misunderstand your position, madam. 'What is advantageous for the Link' is our concern only as a courtesy; we are not beholden to you in the slightest. We came to you only as a professional gesture."

Zara had been about to answer Julio when Shadrach spoke up. Her grey eyes meeting with his as if to look into him rather than just at him.

"I don't believe you have produced your credentials Mr Fenri." She indicated with her voice that she would like him to do so, not missing his reaction to his companion's offer. Zara shifted her gaze back towards Julio.

"I accept your offer. Once the documents have been drawn up I am prepared to sign them in accordance to the offer you just stated. With these procedings having been recorded, it shouldn't take our legal teams long to draw them up."

"Name's Rose. The movie was good, but I think it had a sad ending. I wish thing had went better for Ronin."

"Nice to meet you Rose." Kane and Kalyani chorused together. At the comment regarding Ronin, both twins shared a look that said they had another opinion on that matter. Their father hadn't done anything to contact or see them since they were very young. As far as they knew their father was out there somewhere living up to his reputation and not caring about his offspring. They knew more their mother's side of things than Ronin's - part of the reason why they wanted to see this movie, even though Zara hadn't prevented them from knowing who their father really was.

Around the three, the theartre emptied, giving them the hint to leave also. "We better go. Where are you headed now?" Kalyani asked Rose.

A small freighter burst out of hyperspace, and Silas Onnd piloted it down towards the Golden Link Casino. He exited his ship and made his way into the gambling establishment, choosing a sabacc table and sitting down.

"Deal me in."

The dealer dealt the next hand, including Silas Onnd in the round...

Idejjen was hesitant and very nervous about the presidings going on within the conference chamber, yet was very drawn to it at the same time... He noted when Zara mentioned the record of this conference meeting, then he popped a small tape out of the panel underneath the screen and popped another in to replace it...

Then he took the tape he ejected and pushed the little button to the saved position so no one could overwrite it... Then he put a label on it... "Zara's Roon business deal with Julio Furion" ... Idejjen knew his job was not yet done here, but at the same time he felt detached... Like, he wasn't himself... Which, he wasn't but... Then, Idejjen had an interesting idea... - he grabbed his comm and ushered in two security guards to keep tabs on the meeting and to hold his jacket...

Then, Idejjen ran full speed toward any sort of private place that he could find... First he got to the section that allowed force energies to flow in the casino and then.... Argh... As soon as Idejjen set foot down there all the chaotic energies came rushing back into him like roaring currents slamming into a steel wall, Idejjen quickly as his skin began to burn jumped inside a private room with the door still open...

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Idejjen let out a crazy bellow unlike anyone had ever heard before; it echoed through the halls into the Holodeck, and vaguely made its way into Zara's conference room.... for some reason the pain was worse than the first time he had transformed... Maybe it was because he was suppressing it? Idejjen decided this would be his last transformation in a loooong time...

After Idejjen had almost completely recovered from his mass state of pain, he got up to survey the damage... What? WOW!!

Idejjen couldn't believe his eyes, he was himself again, there was no telling when he would change again so he quickly hightailed it up stairs, but he was back to his old self... Never had he before been so glad to see his old gruesome self... Then Idejjen had remembered of his job and saw that his transformation had taken a good 20 minutes... He had his comm with him, but Idejjen booked it straight back into the room and took back up his post... Slipping his ysalamari jacket back on... This time, with a smile on his face...

For the first time in a long time, Julio smiled. Business was concluded and not a drop of blood was spilled. Between his winnings at the tables and this new success, he felt a little of his burden vanish.

It's done then.

Next to follow was the awkwardness of silence. What was left to say? Julio replayed the meeting in his head, slowly looking around the prestigious room. The memory of Zara's rage at his appearance rekindled in his mind and he suddenly sprang back to life.

Again, I do apologize. Had I know about the...situation I would have worn something else.

His hand rose from it's rest at his side, the force swarming at his whim. The small trash can in the corner flew across the room, stopping on the table before him. Julio removed the blood red trench coat and hat, placing them neatly in the trash can.

Now then, how about we celebrate? Hm? I'll call my daughter, and you can get Kane and Kalyani to join us. Before he could continue, Julio felt a ripple through the force. Pain, anguish, victory. Such immense display of emotion from someone other than himself and Zara was somewhat refreshing. And your security officer, should his new found injuries be light enough to permit it.

Zara would likely be annoyed he spoke of the twins by name though it was never brought up. A further reminder of his previous assault toward her, though he doubted it mattered that much to her, since she returned the favor. Once again, Julio ran his thought through the intricate weaving of his mind to speak silently to Shadrach, then Rose through internal comm.

There is a man ((Silas Ond)) that arrived at this casino not long ago. I'd like to you check docking records if you can and find this man. I want to speak with him in a few hours.

---------------------------------

"Um...I don't know. I've been to most of the fun stuff here. Where are you guys going?"

On cue, Rose's comm chimed in.

Rose, come meet me in business room forty three, level C.

"Actually, I've gotta meet my dad."

She spun off, eager to see Julio. Though the attractions had been fun, she had felt rather lonely doing them all by herself, save for the movie. These two were the only people she had interacted with this whole time, by default making them the closest things to friends she had ever had.

"Hey...Why don't you two come with me? I think he looks a lot like you're dad. You'll like him. Plus, it's about time for dinner, and he'd bring you guys if I asked real nice. Though, if your mom is the same lady in the film, then she owns the whole casino, huh? You probably get to eat wherever you want, whenever you want."

((Zara, you can post Rose leaving with the twins if they agree to go with her, or if you comm them to meet us in the same room she's going to.))

Shadrach sighed lightly.

"Excellent! Well, I'm glad that went -"

Shadrach glanced at the cracked and dented surface of the table.

"- Smoothly. If you'll excuse me, I have other business. Mr. Furion, Ms. Nargal."

He offered a curt bow to each as he named them, then strolled from the room, grinning broadly at the door guards.

Hah! I should have business cards!

As a consultant (and specifically not a lawyer), he was not obligated to present or even possess credentials, but he still liked to have his props in order. It was a non-issue now; she had agreed and the process was legit. Shadrach's purpose had been merely to grease the wheel.

In combat, chaos reigns. The rote performance of technique will always fail before a resourceful opponent.

(my apologies, but something has come up.)

Julio paused, his eyes widening momentarily before returning to their stone gaze.

Actually, my dear, I have to get going. Rain Check?

He started down the hall, leaving the two rather abruptly.

Oh, and Shadrach. Do see to that other matter for me, will you? You'll know how to contact me.

He worked his way through the station, taking the path he thought Rose most likely to take to intercept her. They met in a somewhat secluded hall, the twins flanking her.

Ah, there you are sweety. Come, it's time to go. She fell by his side before thinking about it, feeling completely comfortable for the first time since she had left him. He spoke out to the twins as he and Rose walked away. Do behave your mother now.

After clearing proper dock procedure, the two sped off into the constant black of space.
