Dubrillion

Billy Ray made some final preparations before bringing the Aces 'n Eights into the atmosphere of Dubrillion. Establishing contact with the appropriate authorities, he secured himself a landing pad and began to bring his ship in. Looking through the main glass, he noted the scenic beauty of the beautiful oceans and lush-green foliage that covered the lands. Quite impressive.

Gamble found himself wondering if maybe Dubrillion would be a good place to work and live. At least from above, things seemed nice. He could imagine living on the coast, taking his boat out on weekends, and how nice the weather must be all year long. His fingers danced over a few blank buttons, digits appearing in a small window as he nodded his head. Yup, he'd definitely have to keep this place in mind.

Perhaps he could offer his services as a security consultant of sorts to... well, maybe not. Course then again, you never knew until you asked. If he did, Billy would much prefer to work alongside fellow humans. He could tolerate near-humans well enough, but anything other... well... there was a reason he hated the Hutts so much. Seemed that they were mostly a vile, lewd celebration of alien species.

Blech!!

"What is the nature of your visit?" the audio popped as the voice from ground control made inquiry before Billy landed. Retaking his seat by the comms stations, Gamble replied, "Looking to hire on a personal security detail for myself. Nothing more really. Jus' business." His answer was satisfactory enough it seemed as he brought his ship down and powered down most systems.

Straightening out his attire, he punched in his security code and stepped off, taking in a deep breath as he paused and closed his eyes, enjoying the sweet, fresh air. Yes, this certainly was a planet he felt he could make his home someday... Someday. But for now, he had business to attend to.

Making his way into what seemed to pass for Customs, Billy tapped a long finger lightly atop the counter as he inquired, "Who would I see about hiring a personal security detail?" A singular eyebrow quirked as he gave the clerk a curious look.

Agent Horatio gazed up to the newcomer with his steel blue eyes. Every blaster in the great hall was secretly aimed at this young man, as he had walked through the door without telling who or what he was. But as it were, he seemed very little threat, and was in fact interested in hiring a few agents out as escorts. Or at least that was what they usually meant as security details. Not many came into the citadel to hire out agents for real security reasons.

He grabbed a folder and opened it, he started showing the man a few pictures of scantily clad women in provocative poses, each with a name and serial number attached. He gave him an inquisitive look, ”œWhat escorts do you wish to hire? I can assure you they are very good.”

Billy liked this guy already... and the planet even moreso now!! He allowed the fellow to continue flipping through the pages as Gamble simply admired the outfits and bared flesh... mostly the bared flesh. Raising his brow line as he stroked his jawline with a thumb, Billy commented, "Krath, tha's a nice one there..." He allowed his gaze to linger as his mind wandered for only a moment. Oh the things he could do with her...

Taking a deep breath, Gamble composed himself as he placed his hand lightly atop the folder, giving his head a light shake as he further added, "I'm uh... not lookin' for tha' sort of escort. I'd like to hire on a security detail. A four-man team would be preferred. Fellas who aren't overly conspicuous or anything, and quite competent."

Glancing over his left shoulder briefly, Billy noted a non-human, gave it a quick once over, then turned his attentions back to Horatio. "All human as well," he added and clicked his tongue against the inside of his cheek. Turning his body posture to the side some, he tapped his finger once again atop the countertop. "I expect to mostly be working within urban areas, though if at least one of them had some outdoor experience, that would be appreciated as well."

Billy quirked an inquisitive eyebrow as he awaited a response. This fellow had steel blue eyes. He imagined the man could really pull off a cold, darkly-calculating look if he really wanted to. He wouldn't push his buttons.

Horatio nodded slowly, he gestured to the pages again and snapped the folder closed. This man was interesting, but could he sense a slight bit of xenophobia in there somewhere? He opened another folder, this one was instead filled with agents who's services were considered for hire. He thumbed quickly through several pages of alien contractors. As he sorted through them, he glanced up, ”œAll urban areas eh? A four man team...let's see, you will need a sniper.”

Billy Ray Gamble took a moment before answering the gentleman's question, giving a slightly humored look as he quirked one eyebrow. "I prefer t'work with other humans... and besides, not all species have the same biology." He gave the man a light nod as Horatio began to dial in their respective comm numbers. For just a moment, he glanced over his shoulder and wondered just what these four men... wait.

Gamble turned towards the counter, coming up flush against it as he slid the folder over before himself and extracted the photos. Three males and one female... Kailia... huh. Interesting name. Pretty enough... and she was too; the only issue was if she'd be able to pull her weight like the other three males would. Bringing her photo directly before him, Billy studied it for a few long moments, examining what he could of her physique.

He'd much prefer to work with four males, but if this man said she was a good sniper... well... then he'd have to take his word for it. As Billy recalled, his instructor back in a day, years ago had mentioned how females made better sharpshooters than males. Something about the way their bodies were built different... and usually, they didn't bring poor shooting habits to the table.

Tapping a finger lightly atop the photo, Gamble made the decision then and there that whatever advantage she brought to the table would be worth it since she was at least human. Yeah, he could work with a female sniper slash bodyguard. And besides, the more he thought about it, the less inconspicuous it would be to have at least one female on their team.

People tended to wonder when they saw a group of armed males walking about. This selection that Horatio had made would work out fine... just fine. Billy produced a credit chip from somewhere on his form, using a small sleight of hand as he laid it atop the folder, keeping his hand over it until he saw the team. "What kind of name is Half-Bin," he whispered quietly to himself, turning slightly towards where he assumed the four would enter.

Horatio nodded pleasantly, "I know what you mean, aliens can be quite unfaithful when they are needed the most."

The group of agents appeared one by one. Half-Bin carrying a flechette launcher, and Kailia holding a sniper rifle. They were fit to go. Strong agents, but they were expensive. Horatio nodded to the group, "Seven thousand each, per week. These are high quality agents, and they will be making reports back to Black Sun divisional daily."

He accepted the card, swiped it, and handed the man it back along with the folders.

He stood and waved them off, "A pleasure doing business with you, hopefully more business awaits."

The man's parking was also validated.

Well he hadn't been told no...So the Rain descended onto the planet. Following the path the previous ship had taken. No hostile action was taken on the part of the new comer.

The ganplank fell open, and with a posture fit for a king a Mr. Auron Sin walked out. He fully expected for agent's to come up on him and take him into custody. But he was here to join the Black Sun, and this was where Onnd had told him to go.

On his side, there was a small satchel which now contained a certain illegal virus. Not for attack, just yet. This was a business venture.

The satchel held the container that held the virus. The container was waterproof and vacuum sealed, and could only open with a genetic heartbeat and voice command. If the wrong voice command was given, it would detonate, sending shrapnel and the virus into a 10 foot radius.

But that was just the precaution. Auron was not here for fighting. He was here to get rich. And make the Black Sun some money. Lots of filthy, dirty, tainted money. Money that could make a nun cry.

The man, who had just violated Black Sun airspace found himself to be surrounded by around 4 agents, heavily armed to the teeth. The divisional commander, Horatio, was amongst them. Having just finished his business with the other clientèle. He held a blaster rifle in his hand. He shouted to the surrounded man, "Put down the satchel and the force pike, and you will only be harmed slightly."

What was this man's business here? What was his purpose? Horatio did not know, but he was ready to take the man to hell with him.

Parting ways, Gamble made his way back towards the Aces 'n Eights, smirking down at the validated parking pass he'd been given. Cute. Real cute. Then again, for nearly thirty-thousand a week, validating his parking was the -least- they could do, heh. He handed off the validation to the attendant at the landing pad, catching little more than a nod from him and a thank-you.

As the group boarded, Gamble put out a few grounds rules. Clearly, he was in charge, secondly, their rotation would be mission dependent, but for now, they would operate at 25% strength, and the preference was between the three men as the sniper could be called at a moment's notice and needed to be fresh and ready whenever. Or at least, that was Billy's explanation.

No need to tell her how he -really- felt about having a woman on the team. Yes, she was probably the best sniper, but that didn't mean she was the equal of a man. Billy held the other three in higher regard than her, though perhaps from their point of view, it would seem opposite as it could definitely be construed that he was showing her favoritism from the get to. Let them think what they may though, so long as they performed admirably.

His fingers danced over the unmarked buttons as the numbers disappeared, it was time to take off. "Make yourselves comfortable. We've a long flight ahead of us." They did so and Gamble lifted off, taking the craft up and exiting the atmosphere into the dark expanse of space. Hyperspace took them as Billy made jump after jump after jump, obscuring his path.

During their flight, Billy saw fit to break the ice with them, playing a few games and holding deep discussions about his past, their past, and everything in between. The more human he was to them, the more likely they'd keep on their toes during their assignments. He made it clear that he wouldn't waste their lives, just as he wouldn't waste his own.

They seemed a good lot.

Auron set everything down. But he was curious as to how the agents identified his cane as a Force Pike. It currently had no power, and it looked very much like a cane.

"I was sent here by Jacen Onnd. Granted, I am a little late, but I hope that my business proposition will make up for my tardiness. I am willing to go through all security measures that are standard procedure." He said, Holding his hands out to the front, fingers spread open.

"I was just tired of sitting in Space, as my comm's have been unanswered."

Agents, who had dedicated their lives to weaponry and their use, could very easily identify a powered down Force Pike. When the man dropped his weapons, Horatio came forward, holding his blaster rifle in his gloved hands. At the mention of Vigo Onnd, Horatio was puzzled. They had never been informed of any upcoming visits.

"There are reasons comms are left unanswered, but as you are here, we may as well find out what is going on."

One of the new recruits was sent forward, he collected the bag and the force pike and set them down at Horatio's feet. Horatio leaned down and unzipped the bag, glancing through the contents, slightly suspicious. No drugs, which was a pity. "So...what is in here?"

"Simply put; Money." Auron lowered his hands, slowly. "Money and Death. It contains a business venture for your Esteemed Organization and myself."

The Pau'un crossed his hand's behind his back, in full view of one of the agent's.

"To whom, am I addressing with sir?"

Horatio stepped forward, while the troop of agents kept blasters/launchers/etc upon the man. He smiled, his white teeth flashing in the dawning sun. "I am Horatio, agent 24601, of Black Sun. As I am sure you can figure out." He gestured to the large name tag fixtured to his uniform.

When the man put his hands behind his back, triggers were halfway depressed and the agents tensed. They were on a hair trigger now, all it would take is a slight twitch of the finger, and a hundred bolts would vaporize the poor bastard.

"What exactly is this proposition?"

First, Auron apologized for missing the name tag. "Apologies, young Haratio." Rolling the 'r' as he went. "The adrenaline rush your weapons have given me, has had me fixated on your firearms."

"Proposition?" The Pau'un smiled, his crooked yellow teeth glistened in the morning sun. "My proposition is this: I join the Black Sun. I work for you, you supply and fuel my idea, and we both make enough money to build a planet out of precious metals and various currency. And we will throw out a wave of darkness CoreSec cannot stop. Inside that satchel is vial of a virus that will be the fuel for this business venture. I have no intention on releasing it to you humble folks, as I wish to become a Black Sun member."

Auron waited for Haratio's response. The Agent's had slightly pulled the trigger's as a sign from Mr. Sin putting his hand's behind his back. Natural reaction, even though he had no weapons on him. This was the second time Black Sun agent's had weapons trained on him.

Horation instructed one of the younger agents to fetch a clipboard. And when he returned, Horatio affixed the Black Sun employment history attachment to it. It was then tossed (underhand, I might add) to the applicant. Horatio then reached into the bag and withdrew the container of virus, careful not to upset it. He gave it a look over. It looked like any other virus container, which was of not much importance to Black Sun interests.

"Is this a newly manufactured virus? Is it pre-existing?" He shook it slightly for effect.

A communiqué arrived for the agents Kayal And Omega73. Inside were mission details, and several other things of note. Including the message to get their asses in gear. As well as the message to bring tonnes of pudding.

The Pau'un caught the clipboard. It had been some time since he had seen paper. It was entertaining. He quickly filled it out and tossed it back at the young agent.

Auron eyeballed the Man named Horatio. The case was safe, but in the eyes of Auron, this could be dangerous. "Twenty-Five percent is pre-existing, but I have altered it drastically."

He cleared his throat. "Horatio." He began, rolling the "r" again. "Could you instruct your agents to lower their weapons? It's clear I mean no hostile action."

Horatio looked across the clipboard as one of the lackies brought it on over. He looked to the canister in one hand then back to the board. "Well you are woefully unqualified, and you modified a virus eh?" Horatio's eyebrow raised sceptically. He dropped the clipboad and tossed the canister from hand to hand as he approached the man....Tengu or something.

"So you want to join our organization eh?"

The agents lowered their weapons a notch and looked to each other, knowing smirks upon their masked faces.

Jacen sat in his office watching the scene unfold before him on a security monitor. It was quite amusing to watch Horatio work, and as the agent go so little opportunity to have fun these days, Jacen was inclined to let him enjoy himself. When Horatio had tired of dicking with Tengu's representative, or indeed finished whatever plans he had in store for the naive businessman, Jacen was sure that the being would find his way to Jacen's office.

He took another puff off of his cigar and downed an eight ounce glass of water, attempting to cure the hangover he was currently experiencing. He was already feeling much better. A glass of wine, specially prepared by Dr. Pang, rested on Jacen's desk, untouched. Contrary to Tengu's belief, Jacen did in fact have manners, when they suited him of course. Yes, preparations for Tengu's representative's arrival were going very smoothly.

((Edited to change Jacen's perception of Tengu to fit the form he is currently in))

((Posting as NPC Dr. Pang))

Dr. Pang held up a glass vial that he had just finished preparing for Vigo Onnd. The stimulant inside was ready for use and would readily combat the effects of the other drug that he had concocted for the Black Sun Vigo.

Horatio cocked his head to the side, and look the man deep in the eyes. He held up the canister in front of him and shook it softly.

"Hmmm." He pondered, "Well Black Sun has many different viruses at it's disposal, not to mention gasses and actual weapons."

He looked him in the eyes yet again his own brow creased in bemusement.

"I will give you 5,000 credits for this canister and its viral load." He looked at him again, "And you will be able to join the organization!" He extended one of his hands in a gesture of peace. While the Agents in the background tensed suspiciously, this was the moment of truth.

Kayal had been dawdling around the base, somewhat half-heartedly gathering supplies for his mission that Smash had assigned him when he suddenly recieved a comm from the pudding man, known to others as Delta. He grinned at the last line, this would require a trip to the pudding room, which is what he called Black Sun's secret stash of pudding for a lack of a better name.

On his way to the pudding room, however, Kayal ran into something that piqued his interest. Apparently, one of the Black Sun operatives, Horatio he believed his name was but he couldn't be sure, was "interviewing" a potential future member of Black Sun. At least that's what appeared to be going on, things seemed to be a little more heated than usual. True, first encounters with Black Sun were always less than comfortable, Kayal could still remember when he was informed that he had somehow contracted chlemydia upon joining Black Sun, but he didn't remember there being any guns trained on him during the whole ordeal, at least not any guns visible to the naked eye.

Here was a different case, however, there were several Black Sun agents with thier weapons trained on the new comer, and the air seemed tense. Judging by the bag at Horatio's feet, Kayal guessed that this guy had been dumb enough to enter the base armed, a terrible mistake, one usually rewarded with certain death.

Fortunately for this fellow's sake, however, Horatio seemed to put the agents at ease and they lowered thier weapons, for the time being... So this was their newest recruit perhaps? Kayal stood back out of sight and waited, keeping one hand near his blaster, just in case. He was curious to see how things turned out now...

Blackstone squinted as he stepped into the sunlight. He rubbed his eyes and took a swig of stimcafe from his flask. Another day had begun. He stretched, still a little worn from the adventures of his previous mission.

Blackstone noticed Horatio interviewing someone, and another person standing behind him. Blackstone formed a line behind this person, hoping to get in touch with someone who would give him a chance to really get involved.

Horatio turned in suprise, there was several very....familiar faces in the audience. He turned back to Auron and smiled softly. "There will be of course tests and applications to be filled out. DNA and the like....hope you don't mind."

Captain Talisabeth Rangier, approached Kayal and grinned. "There is a message waiting for you from Vigo Delta. He hopes that you and other agents may go straight to the Sith Temple on Coruscant's surface."

She smiled softly to him and ran her hand through her light red hair. She put her finger to his lips, "Shhhh, don't ask questions.....I have stuff to do. Maybe next time."

She walked curtly off towards the other enforcer, "Hello enforcer Blackstone, how are you today?" She ran her freckled hand down the side of his face, "Did you have a nice sleep?"

If the stimcafe hadn't woken Blackstone yet, Talisabeth's smooth touch most certainly did. Blackstone grinned "I'm fine, I'm..." He looked at Talisabeth. Perhaps she went by a nickname... 'Talisabeth' seemed too hard to pronounce, even when he was just thinking of the name in his head. He really didn't know Talisabeth, though. But of course he would like to know Talisabeth better, though. There- he had already though of her name four times... he had to think of a nickname... it was getting difficult to pronounce her name... even mentally.

"Uh.. yeah" Blackstone continued. He forgot what he was even going to say... oh... "I'm.. yeah, fine." he collected himself. "Better than fine" he said with a smile. Touched her hand "Slept well, too".

Talisabeth grinned wickedly, her pale lips running across her white teeth. "Yeah, of course you are fine..." Her hand ran from his face down to the centre of his strong muscled chest. "Very fine indeed." She leaned forward and brushed the side of his cheek with her lips, a caress of love.

She slipped a mission packet into his pocket and grinned, report to the Wraith Goddess, where you and I will go on assignment. The Wraith Goddess, a Y-Wing, was fuelled and prepared for long distance flight. It would be a long shot, but they could make it in time.

Blackstone smiled as he felt the warm spot on his cheek where he had been kissed. He grabbed her arm as she put the packet in his pocket, drawing her closer into an embrace. He pulled the packet out, but didn't look at it, still staring into her eyes. "Sounds... great" he muttered with a grin, a little absentmindedly. "So... are we going.. or... where? Should I get a team ready? Can I... uh..." Blackstone smiled again. "Can't wait".

She shoo her head violently, "No.....no teams, not this time darling, just us three....." She gestured to the other agent, Kayal. "We might take him too, he's a darling, and this mission is of the highest priority. A vigo requested assistance, so it's a daring plan ..... are you up for the task?"

She smiled and rubbed his chest. This would be a fun ride.

"Yes. The Black Sun is well equipped I am aware of. But the Universe has not seen the likes of this Virus. It is worth well over five thousand. For the record. But, I agree. I will become part of your organization." Auron extended his hand and shook it. Finally it was coming all together.

"I look forward for the Chance to work with you." He let go of the Agent's hand and returned it to his side.

"As for the DNA. I do object. Could I speak with the head of Black Sun? I know he is a busy man. But I have a unique talent that they should be made aware of." He was making an outrageous request. But he felt that the man should be aware of his talent, just so he could be used for full potential.
