  1. A terrible chill washed over Jarlaxle, as it someone was watching him. Perhaps, an animal hunting him. The Jungles of Cardia were known for their predators. Always stalking and hunting Imperial trainee's that were not careful enough. Though the chill was quickly turning to the cold fear that one faced in their darkest of dreams. Slow to reveal itself was the Terribly dark presence flowing all around him, consuming his own tainted signature. By know it was obvious something, rather someone was out for him.. It only took a split second of the former Jedi glancing away from the position in which the Sith Lord had himself concealed for him to strike. His body powered by the force, he brought his fist around and slammed it into the others face. It was surprising that his jaw did not break. In the next instant as he recovered, Zad was gone again. Slipping away into the jungle. Toying with his prey. Through the force he extended his mind and whispered to the other. "Why? Why have you come here.."
  2. ((Achzet, Draken..The end of this post concerns the two of you.)) A small Tie defender entered the system well away from the impending battle. The Sith lord within the cockpit looked over his long range scanners, making note of the capital ships. They had yet to begin their assault, that was good, but he still would have to make it past them in order to land. He idly let his ship drift ever closer to the Alliance Fleet. He knew by now they would have picked up his Imperial marked Tie, but he didn't much care as he was not in range of an attack yet. He raised his left hand, biting one of his nails out of an old habit. He didn't have the time to go around them, he had to cut straight through the center of all of them. He began to shift the power of his ship from everything that was not needed, including the weapons and putting it into his engine and his shields. Once he had everything diverted properly he hit the throttle, rocketing forward. The Tie defender came screaming through the Rebel lines, taking hits to the shield as it neared the planet at an velocity that couldn't possibly be safe. His shields were threatening to fall at any moment, his engines would explode from the pressure so much power was putting on them. Then his ship pierced the atmosphere, the sheer heat from such a thing began to rip his ship apart. Normally he would be perfectly fine, but with his shields so weak there was nothing he could do to stop it. He began to open the flight panels, doing the best he could to slow the ship before it impacted the planet below, killing him and possible others...But most importantly him. The Tie defender came to a skidding halt, debris and metal being flung in every direction as the cockpit hatch was blown free. A Sith lord springing out and straight up into the air as the ship slid another good forty meters. Zad cracked his neck and looked about, there were two storm troopers on patrol heading towards his location. At least, that is what the force informed him of. He waited patiently for their arrival, when they finally got there they drew their blasters and targeted him. "Easy boys.." Flashing his saber they backed up a bit, watching him borrow one of their speeder bikes and take off towards the Sith temple. His blonde hair whipped back due to the speed he was traveling out, he always wondered how storm troopers were able to successfully pilot something this fast through a forest with those helmets and without the guidance of the force, but figured the creator George Lucas had some bogus reason for it. He could feel the various levels of power within the temple as he grew ever closer to it. There was only one he could say he had felt before, that being Draken...The rest were new to him. He slowed the vehicle to a halt within the hanger bay, swinging his right leg over the seat and stretching as he did. He couldn't complain about the ride, at least this was a newer model and not as cheap and crappy as some of the bike's he'd tried out in the past. He quickly moved through the halls, seeking out the strongest of the signatures. That being Nurgle. He briefly touched the figures mind to let him know he was here to support the Sith and the Empire as a whole. Once that was done he reached out to find Draken, it seemed he was in a room with another. The other had a decidedly tainted force aura. He had been light at one point and had not completed his change. Such a weak being, to ever think the Jedi were the right way to do things. If a Jedi was to fall to the Dark side, that was victory in itself. But then...to slaughter them afterwards, once they had lost everything..Was something that truly appealed to Zad's senses. He watched as a Man in a battle suit walked past him, out of the room Draken was now laying in. Apparently he had attacked Draken in order to get the light one. In the mind of a Warrior, this could only mean one thing. He was on the side of the betraying former Jedi that was Ekim. That one deserved No one on his side, thus Zad did what came natural. He pulled an Ion grenade from his belt, activated it, and sent it rolling down the hallway. He pressed his back to the corner as it exploded firing the Mans suit, weapons ((Even a lightsaber is fried by these)), and any mechanical appendages that he might have. He began to giggle like a school girl as he glanced around the corner. Even if the man had known it was coming, he couldn't have stopped it. It would serve him right for being so highly mechanized. "Oh my...You seem to have fallen and can't get up, I'll leave Draken to take care of you." With that he moved into the room where Draken was, calling out to the force he began to use it upon the young man. He was not the most skilled in applications of the force, but this technique was a highly useful one in combat thus he had learned it. It began to null the effects of paralyzation upon the other, and once he was functional Zad stood and flashed him a grin. The two might have had their differences, but even still they were brethren in the force. ((Yes, the only ability of healing that is light side is the healing itself..Neutralizing stunning agents and all that is a neutral skill)) "You've a young hunter to tend to I do believe, he awaits you."
  3. "Lawl, will do." His own cold voice spoke to Ryu through the new comm that had been placed within him. He wasn't overly fond of the plug on the back of his neck, but even still he was a damn fine specimen of a human male. Taking Darex's lightsaber, he headed out towards the Sith temple to help protect it.
  4. A tie defender entered real space, cruising low over the planet as teh uber leet ((shut up I had to say it)) Sith within stretched out through the force, scanning the surface for Ryu. Once he found the over bearingly powerful Dark Lords signature he brought his ship down and moved towards his location. He bowed down onto his knee before standing up to speak to the Prince before him. "The Jedi Darex has been finished off, his saber as proof." He held the weapon of the Jedi up to show that he had finished off the other.
  5. "Not from life..." He didn't have time to finish his phrase as he was forced to block a blow from above. He brought his weapon down to the right, then up, down and across then up once more to block the onslaught. By the time he deflected the last blow it was obvious the Jedi could be quite the offensive fighter, having him now pinned against the wall. Rather then bringing his weapon down after the last blow he continued to left it until it cut through the wall behind him. He drug it around the outline of a large hole forming. He ducked and rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the crate as it burst through the weakened wall letting rain pour into the room. Raising his hand, he gripped the Jedi by the ankle and ripped him forward. By the time he let his rather weak grip release Darex he was sliding on the ground towards the newly crafted exit. The Sith Apprentice charged after him, not wanting to waste this advantage. His own crimson blade was disengaged and clipped at his belt in a flash, the next instant he caught the Jedi's weapon as well. Once outside he stopped, staring down Darex. The two stood at the edge of the platform, the Jedi was just on the edge of it. Zad's blue eyes glanced down at the others wound. The blood flow had stopped, it was obvious he was trying to heal the wound..but in order to do that, one had to remove the blade first. With a twist of his hand, the blade shoved itself deeper, twisting around at an alarming rate. The ran slick Sith planted his boot into Darex's chest, sending him over to the edge to what would be a watery death. "...but from the Heretical order you refer to as your brethren." He turned without another thought, he would seek out the Dark Lord now and gain what he had been denied for so long, that which was Rightfully his. Finally it truly would be his. Entering a hanger he brushed past two or three of the pilots and commandeered one of their Defenders. He was gone just as quickly as he had arrived so long ago, leaving the water world of Kamino behind.
  6. "Darkness is always at the edge of light...and your candle grows dim." As Darex moved forward, his skill level was made obvious. Zad did his best to keep up, but he would have to slip into form III shortly if this kept up. He had made sure to study and practice said form just in case something like this happened. With each attack from the other man his defense grew tighter, his blade staying closer to his body and calling for less and less energy to be effectively used. Their eyes met for a brief second just as the Jedi brought his blade down in an attack. In a move that many would suggest against, Zad let his left arm fall free of his weapon as he tried to block the next attack. There was a searing pain in his right shoulder as the blade cut in just enough to effect him before that side of his body leaned back, thrusting the other side of his body forward...freshly drawn dagger in hand. He had grown weary of talk with this one. He was not as cruel and cunning as an assassin, he did not posses the sheer brain power and command of the force as a sorcerer. When someone saw him, it was to late for talk. For if the Sith wanted to chat with them, they would not have sent a blood thirsty warrior. He felt the warm fluid run over his hand as he managed to get at least two of the four inches of the blade buried into the other. As Darex stumbled back from the blow, the young Sith took the time to toss his lightsaber to his left hand. He had practiced using both hands, but it was no lie that he was better with his naturally dominant hand then his trained left. The two were a good four meters apart as Zad looked to him, both were wounded, but the difference was when a Sith was wounded they would go all out, resembling a rabid, cornered Rancor. Turning his head to the side he spat a bit of saliva out upon the ground. The dark energy around him began to ever so slightly swell again, bringing more power to his command. The burning sensation from his shoulder meant he was doing his job, but he still had to work out the kinks in his style. It also meant the Jedi had just provided him with the fuel he needed to continue. In the blink of an eye he charged forward, showing his skill in one of the techniques he had worked on the most. He was nearly effortlessly able to switch between forms, using elegance then sheer power with form II, before forming up and into form III. The former were randomized so that Darex could not pick up on a pattern, the latter...all thought not quite as effective as a pure fighter, was still rather effective as he deflected the blows. Then, at the oddest time he spoke...right as he brought his weapon down.. "Death will be your release.." As he was pulling his saber back for another blow, his eyes caught Darex favoring his right side slightly since that was mainly the side Zad's attacks were spawning from. Taking advantage of this, he brought his saber down quickly in a fast attack, chased by his right fist targeting the left side of Darex's jaw. The blow would send pain rocketing up his arm to his wound, but with his own natural strength, plus his enhancements through the force it would be sure to be devastating to both of them.
  7. ((This be one on one Darex. You and I.)) Despite the fact he was a trained, skilled warrior he had let his weapon carry him too far for some odd reason or another, thus allowing the Jedi to plant a kick and send him sprawling. This only served to bring up a bought of fury in the Sith. An eerie red taint formed in his eyes as he stood, looking to the Jedi. Cracking his neck he held his weapon out. A good warrior had a powerful offense, but on the same note a strong defense. Zad had studied form III and could tell the Jedi was a practitioner of it. He shot the man a cold smile, his face was illuminated by the crimson glow of his weapon. The Dark energy in the room seemed to be pulsating, almost to the point where one could physically reach out and feel it in the form of a thick, nauseating substance. Zad began to project it and direct it towards Darex, wave after wave of darkness washing over his spiritual self and with any success breaking his concentration. The Sith charged forward, bringing his blade down to meet the blue shaded weapon. Sparks flew as he sent blow after blow at the Jedi, these blows being considerably weaker then what he could have been delivering. When their blades locked up, Zad leaned in with that twisted smile of his. A wisp of his blonde hair falling down over his eyes. "Their is a Seed of darkness within you, that always has been and always will be there...You will corrupt those around, they will all fail in any task they wish to take on..eventually falling to the darkness, giving in and embracing it. Not every dark soldier is a killer Darex, we have scholars too...You needn't kill to join us...After all, we could even go so far as to merge our orders and their would be little change to your order and ours...Such devious beings you Jedi are.." Zad began to laugh, not a normal laugh but the laugh of a maniac. ((Think Tyler durden, fight club)) At first one would guess he was laughing at his own words, or perhaps something had snapped for one reason or another, sending him over the edge and into the void of darkness. But when his leg shot up, moving quicker then any of his attacks thus far, it was made obvious was so funny. His knee connected with Darex's crotch. "I guess I still have to get some of that honor stuff, eh?" He pressed his attack, not giving the other enough time to recover from the staggering blow. Had he been smart he might have worn something to protect himself from such a debilitating blow, like Zad had. Of course, if someone tried to knee him in a manner, the rusted spike that protruded from the metal protecting him would great them in a nasty manner. With each second, more of the Warrior's fury showed itself. A technique that was practiced and used by Sith Warriors, and used quite effectively at that.
  8. Zad took in a breath of the air, tasting the Fresh rain in it. A grin crossed his face as be drew upon the power of Ryu and Draken, using them as something of a force amp. Raising his hand, the force coursed through his body, increasing his strength, speed, reflexes and over all power, his saber snapped to life with the familiar hum of energy before it even reached his palm. "Let's see what you are made of..." It was a common phrase on the outside, but Zad did not mean it in its most common form. He wanted to rip this one limb from limb as he had thought about for the last twenty minutes of his life. He wanted to rip out his organs, watch his blood spray upon the walls and really see what made this human tick. He was upon the Jedi abnormally quick for a person of his power level, bringing his blade crushing down upon the Jedi. He was a powerful Form II fighter, but the elegance of the form had been stripped away by him, replaced with raw strength and over powering blows.
  9. Zad glanced up as Dagon entered the building. A faint smile crossed his face as he bowed slightly to show his respect for the Krath. He took a step back from the center of the room, letting the Dark Master speak to the Jedi. He was one of the most enlightened men in the order and he was sure to have a way with words and something up his sleeve to deal with this Jedi. Yet again another, more powerful dark entity entered the room. This one being Kakuto Ryu. Zad relished the power that came into the room with them, one day he would hold just as much, perhaps even more power then them..but for now he would continue to serve the order as always. Darex stepped into the opening, ten meters behind Zad concealed behind some crates. He spoke and Zad gave him some measure of his attention, but in the end he knew he would prefer to be ripping the man limb from bloody limb as he would every other Jedi. They were fools to serve the order as they did, not only did it limit the options before them as well as their power, but the leaders of it simply used the Jedi to their own gain. The young sith Barely noticed Draken, not pleased that he had arrived at this point in time... As Dagon finished speaking, Darex's comm burst into life. Before the other could react, Zad held out his arm and pulled the device to him. They may have been being peaceful, but Darex did not need such a thing at a time like this, when his life could be ended in the blink of an eye. The two most powerful Sith in the order stood before the lowly man, yet he did not even bow in respect as he should. Shaking his head, he stepped back into the shadows to listen to the message. A grin crossed his face as he tossed the device to Dagon to let him listen to the message, perhaps he would be able to kill the Jedi after all...
  10. No response. Nothing. He knew the man was in here, but he had thought that he would defend himself as most Jedi would. Perhaps this one was different. Of course that would mean he would have to modify his tactics a bit. Pulling out his commlink, the Sith muttered a few words into it before putting it away. His package would soon arrive and then, then the end of this Jedi would arise. It would end perhaps even without confrontation, which would be good. Even though Zad loved to take on a challenge, this was not the place...Nor the challenge he wanted. "No reply, perhaps you are in deep thought as Jedi tend to do. Spending countless days in meditation when they could be saving the innocent from deviants like myself." He let out an audible sigh, pulling the daggers point away from his finger and watching the pin prick of blood slide down his finger. The crimson fluid looked so appealing, it had been quite some time since he had seen it flowing out of anyone else though. Raising his finger, he traced his tongue over the trail cleaning his finger as his other hand slipped his dagger behind his back and into its sheath. The bit of salty fluid mixed with his saliva as he savored it. "You know...One of these days, you might just realize how perverse the order has become. It is then you will leave them. You will either fall, or just disappear. I am curious to see which path you take..." He paused for a bit, wondering if any of the others had recieved his com. Regardless he would have to continue. He paused for a bit, wondering if any of the others had received his com. Regardless he would have to continue. Perhaps he would be able to get the Jedi to willingly help them, as that would make things much, much easier. If not, then Dagon or the Dark Lord himself would most likely end up taking care of this one. In the end, there was no way for him to come out on top and Zad might just finally get the rank he had been after for quite some time. "Give up now, surrender and you won't be killed." Not a hint of lie or betrayal in the warriors voice.. Cooperation meant he would survive..
  11. Zadkiel's ship shot downwards after the Jedi, but kept its distance just enough in case the other could not find a way out of his predicament. He pulled up just in time to avoid the massive explosion that ripped apart a few of the medically inclined figures rushing about to help people. Their lives screamed out of existence, a rush of emotion filling the force around where they had been only seconds before..yet the Jedi's life did not seem to end, if it had it lacked any kind of emotion at all. Surely he would feel something...How could one go so far as to not even feel emotion? The Tie defender touched down thirty meters away from the crash site, just outside the ring of gathering civilians. Zad was out of the ship just as quickly as he landed, not carrying enough to take the time to shut it down. There was a chance the Jedi was still alive and considering they could never be as skilled as a Sith in the art of stealth, for that suggested deception..which led to the Dark side, he would...He should be able to find him without to much difficulty. Closing his eyes the Sith reached out, honing in his abilities with the force to sense and seek out one emotion. No True Jedi, No morally driven person could slaughter so many without feeling any sort of guilt. No one, not even a Jedi could die a death that lacked any kind of emotion, even if it was only regret. A grin crossed his face, for a warrior he was fairly smart he liked to think. Knowing that the Jedi was concealed in the force somewhere, rather then dead. Whispers filled his ears, causing him to cock his head to the side. Various people felt guilty for these atrocities, foolishly blaming themselves, yet only one had such an amount of guilt that it was notable. Though it was obvious he was trying to mute himself in the force. If he really wanted to be deceptive, perhaps he should have a taste of the Dark side. Of course, Zad would be pleased seducing him to the Dark Side, or simply ripping him limb from bloodied limb. Wasting no more time the physically powerful Sith was off, seeking out his prey while letting fear and guilt travel out from him through the force. He did not conceal himself through the force though, for it would be pointless. If the Jedi was hiding himself, he would not be able to access his greatest tool, his greatest asset, his greatest weapon and defense. The crowds faded away as the moved towards building, one that would appear to be a hanger. As the Sith entered the building the Jedi was no where in sight, but this did not bother him. He knew he was in here somewhere, as the Jedi was sure to know he was being followed. "Jedi...Jedi...Jedi...You defend the innocent and protect the weak. You vow to serve the force for the rest of your life...Driven by what is morally right. Tell me then, why the slaughter today? Why has the order stained its hands with the blood of so many innocents. Well, I guess you aren't wanting to talk since you are hiding..." Zad paced down the center of the room, his wet blond hair ending just below his shoulders, plastered on his bare back. His blue eyes scanned the area, as if he was looking for an old friend that had scheduled a meeting with. His arms idly rested at his side, but he would be prepared to draw his weapon in an instant if the Jedi grew a set and decided to lash out once more. Once again he spoke, his voice booming outward. "You see, when I kill...I like to kill Virgins, because well..quite simply they have more uses then one. Their warm, salty blood running over my hands as that last bit of life slips away...I do wonder sometimes, what is the last thing that crosses their mind. Do you wonder the same thing when you slaughter innocents? What's it like for a Jedi to kill, is the guilt of knowing you are the reason for so many orphans unbearable? Ah, but I suppose you can retreat and tell yourself you are doing what is right, what is just. Because you serve the greater good, you can do no wrong!" Zad stopped, as if something had caught his attention. He was paying close attention to the force to ensure the Jedi did not leave. He wanted him to stay, to listen...to know. The order as a whole would never be able to forget this day. The Empire, the Sith..they may kill millions when they attack, but that is what they are known for...That is what warriors without morals do. The Jedi...They were not even cunning enough to pull off an attack with minimal casualties. The young, cut Sith drew a dagger, pressing the tip to his finger and spinning it for a few moments. "Your order is on a path...Careening down it as if there is no tomorrow, soon your leaders will condone killing, soon you will simply be a name. You will represent Nothing that you used to, you will be Nothing compared to what you used to be. Will you follow them like the sheep you are? Yes....I think you will, I think you are..."
  12. ((OOC...I can't help but wonder, how did your tractor beams get all the way through the atmosphere to reach Darex, I wasn't aware they had such amazing range.))
  13. ((*Yawn* Brad, last I checked you can't just ignore what I post if you don't like it. Your shields were down, meaning yes.. A Defender can take you out. Kthx But whatever. I will see that you get yours one way or another because I am vindictive like that)) Only one squad remained and they were heading for space quickly. This would not do. Zad hit the throttled and rocketed upwards towards them. Five Defenders formed up behind him with a squad of Tie interceptors launching from one of the hangers that was still undamaged on Kamino. Shifting power from his main cannons, Zad's ship began to quickly catch up with the other ships that were trying to exit the atmosphere. His long range sensors reported a Corrilian Corvette in the system. "All remaining planetary turbolasers and Ion Cannons, Redirect your assault upon that Warship. Now!" The sky lit up as the various blasts began to pummel the shields of the ship. It would not last long if it did not get out of the system, but either way it would not be able to assist the Jedi he was after. Being that his cannons were down with power diverted else where, the young Sith was forced to lay into the Squad with his ion cannons. At this altitude they had No hope of surviving a fall, surely. The first ship went into a downward spiral, soon it would slam into the oceans of Kamino and the pilot would be dead that very same second. Focusing on the force he reached out to the minds of the five behind him, their minds becoming like one so that their attacks would be more effective. His targeting system locked onto another of the ships, flipping up the small cap over his stick he fired one of his Proton torpedoes at it. The ship exploded in a fiery ball, shrapnel shooting outward and hitting the other ships. With that he laid into the Jedi's ship, his Ion blasts flying wide and hitting here and there. The Jedi was a good pilot, most others would be on their way towards the surface by now... With two final blasts, he watched as the blasts slammed into his back engines and his R2 droid. If he was any kind of pilot he would be able to coast down towards the surface and eject to stay alive. Otherwise his life was over. Pulling back on his stick, Zad let his own ship go into a dive after the Jedi, comming ahead to notify others a Jedi might be crash landing nearby. ((I despise ship to ship, Let's take this to a slippery surface . I will land shortly after you.))
  14. ((Just so you know... Tie Defenders FAR outclass an X-wing, so your ship is inferior not mine. Next time, try to acknowledge my last attack in your post, kthx)) Zad's hands quickly maneuvered over his controls, adjusting the power of his shields to focus on his rear as he dived downwards away from the fire of the Jedi's X-wing. His ship was far greater then the old style X-wing so he was easily able to slip into a downward spiral, pulling up in just enough time to avoid a collision and get in behind the Jedi. The other, stronger Knight had broken away from the battle and gone after another target. In order to stop that one from doing any more damage, he would have to kill this one. "I really hope that Jedi isn't a human, it will make this all the more sweeter." Zad reached out, commanding the force to bow before him. The sudden rush of darkness was invigorating, filling him with a new power, sharper senses, and better reflexes then before. His sole goal in life at this point in time was taking out the foolish little being piloting the out of date machine before him. Once again he painted his target for the remaining AA turrets to fire upon and they did such, lighting his shields up and weakening them considerably. Zad performed a simple barrel roll to the left, spraying the Jedi with his own weapons as he did. One of the turrets broke through his shields, hitting his left side. It was obvious the blow had hit him hard and the Sith that had been behind him the entire time took advantage of such and put everything into his next shot, his shields powering down for a few seconds afterwards. The single shot hit home, blowing apart the X-wing. The display was brilliant, but he could not watch as he had to avoid the explosion else he become a part of it. "Form up with me. We've another Jedi to seek out." ((Perhaps an offical mod duel is order next time, perhaps you can duel .. Duo, or Trowa?))
  15. Zadkiel's cursed himself as he pulled up, watching two of the defenders before him get caught up in the blast radius of the odd Proton torpedos. Their lives blinked from existence, but not without purpose. Their lives were sacrificed so that the Sith they were serving could be all the more wise about his enemy. What ever the weapon was, it had caused the Jedi to temporarily disappear from his sensors. Rather then fly low and get caught up in a trap, Zad took the high road. Rain crashed down onto every inch of his ship as his sensors scanned the area below him. An explosion rocked one of the platforms about six hundred meters in front of him and one hundred down, instantly he went into a dive, pulling up just before his ship crashed into the surface of the ocean that spanned the entire planet. The X-wing that had delivered the blow was just returning to formation as Zad arrived. Irritation rose in him. That formation was supposed to be broken and scattered all about. The Young Sith pulled back on his control stick, moving upwards to piece through the dead center of the E-wings and X-wing. Closing his eyes he reached out to the force, pulling up horrific images and letting them flow into the minds of the Jedi Brad as well as the pilots around him. Their concentration would be broken as the image of a young woman appeared. By all accounts she was stunning for a human, as was the man before her. The man was Zad, but they would not know this...No one but a Sith would know such a thing. From his belt he pulled a dagger, dragging it across the woman's throat and watching as the blood sprayed out; her jugular severed. The break in their concentration would be just enough for him to release his clip of proton torpedos. Just as they began to fall back to the surface he manually detonated the entire clip, causing his own shields to falter a bit as he escaped the majority of the blast radius. Pulling back, his ship performed a back flip before diving back down at the ships, peppering them with his laser fire.
  16. Zad's blue orbs scanned the battlefield, his computers sensors performing the same task. His control of the force only went so far, in space he was unable to lock onto anyone Jedi unless he brought his Tie defender in for a closer look. Wiggling his fingers as his sensors caught sight of a lone X-wing. He was sure that back up would soon be arriving to provide him with cover fire, but the young Sith would make sure it did not arrive. He began to speak into his headset, giving orders to his squad. "Keep all Alliance craft Away from that X-wing. Take out any that get close; if you fail it will be your life at their hands...or mine if you make it out of this." From above the Jedi a Tie defender came screaming down, yet it did not open fire as most trained soldiers would. The pilot of this ship had a dark taint about him. His hands moved furiously over the controls, targeting Brad's ship. Rather then fire a set of proton torpedos at him, he painted his ship as a target for everyone. The turrets began to read Zad's layout, tracking the X-wing and opening fire upon him.
  17. Four shuttles entered real space over the stormy planet of Kamino. One shuttle took the lead over the others, piloting down towards one of the Sith inhabited cities. Zad sent a comm to Dagon notifying him that his supplies had arrived and the mission had gone smoothly. He was unsure of what Dagon wanted done with the supplies so he informed the Acolytes that they were to leave them in the Shuttles until given further orders. Zad moved through the structure quickly, finding himself a room until Dagon was ready to speak with him.
  18. Zadkiel

    Tatooine

((Since the hutts palace was locked I shall post here..)) A small freighter dropped out of hyperspace above the giant Desert planet of Tatooine. The man piloting the freighter waited high above the planet for the shuttle he had called in to arrive. During his wait he was able to catch up on some much needed sleep. His rest was long and lacking any sort of dreams. He had worked hard for an entire week with little rest, forcing his body to break old limits. He was no fool though, he didn't plan to go into combat without the required rest. Such a thing would surely result in death. Zad woke up to the faint beeping on his console, informing him that the shuttle had arrived as scheduled. He sent a comm to the ship holding the coordinates of the Hutts palace. The two ships descended upon the planet quickly, flying low over the dune sea. He could make out the large Palace off in the distance. He was still unsure of how much resistence would be put up, but that wouldn't matter in the end. No matter the difficulty Zad would come out on top. "That's just the way these things work." Zadkiel landed his ship first, not bothering to completely shut it down as this wouldn't take long. He stepped out into the blazing Tatooine twin suns, shielding his eyes against them at first and taking in his surroundings. Dark tendrils stretched out over the palace, reporting everything they found to their Master and commander, Zad. His pants were tight around the waist, with his saber clipped to his belt. He hadn't bothered with any sort of armor or even a shirt, opting to do this one with as little as possible. With a simple wave of his fingers two of the Acolytes moved forward and set some charges on the front gates of the Palace. A small eyeball like device popped out to see who was here to visit the Sith. The only thing it was able to register before being destroyed was sand erupting into the air thanks to an explosion. A few seconds later the Sith apprentice was marching through the new opening and looking to the two guards charging him. "Piggy piggy..." Scarlet energy burned the ozone as Zad's saber burst to life, cutting the first guard in two and decapitating the second. He didn't pause for a second as he moved into the Hutt's palace. The scarlet glow cut out after a few seconds as he walked through a small hallway, followed by the Acolytes, and into the main chamber. Once again his saber was out, deflecting a blaster bolt back at the one that fired it. It hit him in the nose, frying him. "A bit lower then I wanted..." In the next few seconds various living beings took their last breath. Zad moved through the bodies and people faster then many of them would be able to catch. Only ten people remained and he didn't wish to use his weapon of choice upon them. Shutting it off and clipping it to his belt he sprang up and over the head of one of the guards, gripping his elctro-staff and stealing it away. In one quick motion the mans skull was crushed and blood was sprayed across the walls. Shutting down the staff he finished off five more in a similar manner. All that remained was the Hutt. Zad watched as the Acolytes fired ten darts into his gut, stunning him them putting him to sleep. Tossing the staff aside Zad barked out various orders. Over the next few hours the shuttle was loaded down with various supplies and technologies. A few of the hutts own cargo ships were borrowed so as to keep them from having to make a second trip. Once the shuttles were on their way to Kamino Zad entered his own ship and followed suit.

    Space

Zadkiel had been at drift in space for near a week now. His ship could sustain him for just over a month though. Everyday was the same thing he would wake up and set to training. It was a completely new experience training with Zero gravity as well as Two times what he was used too. Near the end of his seventh day, during his second break a comm came in for him. "What do you wish of me, Master Dagon." At the same time he spoke he bowed down to one knee out of respect for the figure before him. He was a powerful Sith Master, perhaps one of the strongest, and for now Zadkiel would have to work for him.In the end though he viewed the man the same as every other Sith above him. A stepping stone to his own power, those below him were nothing more then pawns to be used in his own power plays. As soon as the figure disappeared Zad moved to reset his course for the planet of Tattooine. He sent a comm to the planet of Mechis III, ordering a bit of back up to assist him in his mission.

The Sith acolyte wasted no time in slipped back into the hanger and finding his own ship. He had no interest in staying here now, Lobo had escaped. In time the two would meet again, perhaps when the beast was in top form, but for now they would go their separate ways. His ship roared to life and in a few minutes he was off the planet and into hyperspace.

Zad knew that if he didn't think fast that the ship would crush him alive, such a thing of course was unacceptable as that was not the death of a warrior. Ripping a steel plate off the wall he leapt into the air, placing it beneath him just in time to block the brunt of the explosion as it propelled him upwards. The metal began to sear his flesh and the roof was fast approaching him. Rolling off the side he allowed a bit of the fire to lick at his flesh as the metal bursted through the roof seconds before he flew out as well. Fire erupted from the hole he has just made, the Sith apprentice lay just to the left of the damaged hangers new roof exit, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. Had he remained in that fire a second or two longer his lungs would have been scarred beyond repair most likely. The beast would get away this time...but only this time. Zadkiel doubted that the Imperials would have the know how to bring one of their own ships crashing down, but they were wise enough to put tracers in them.

The force was a powerful entity, one that Lobo had chosen to try and best. Unfortunately for him Zad was a trained force user of the darker arts. It was his servant, his to command at will. It whispered to him, caused the fine hairs on the back of his neck to stand up. Something bad was about to happen and he knew it, so he did what any wise person would do and took cover. Not a second after diving forward through the blown hatch he heard the engines fire up, flinging the troops he had with him backwards, scattering them all about. No matter though, they had served their purpose. The laser cannon fire met his ears as he heard the first scream of a trooper that was completely incenerated as soon as the blast hit him. His vision filled with stars as his head was forced to meet the side wall of this beasts ship. He had launched some sort of missile at close range, causing his ship to juke to the side quickly. This thing would just have to pay, first he tried to mess up Zad's hair, then he caused him to hit his head with such force that his perfect face would be ruined with a bruise. "Tsk tsk, He must learn." Zad reached down to his belt and removed a flashbang from it. Slowly making his way to the cockpit he tossed it through the slightly ajar door and turned his face away from the entrance. In a few seconds he couldn't hear anything, but he could still see as he ripped a pipe off the wall with the force and flung it into the controls of Lobo's ship...

Zad glanced towards Orik as the bounty hunter summoned his ship and crawled through the hatch when it arrived. There was no way in hell he was about to let this beast escape him. He could not let such a monstrosity live and the fact his being lorded depended on it only served to increase his drive to see Lobo dead before him. With a simple wave of his hand he directed the few troops behind him towards the beasts ship. The knew what to do and immediately sat to work. The sound of metal upon metal echoed for a brief second as they strapped the minor explosives upon his ships hatch. Zad didn't move a muscle as they scrambled around the side to avoid the blast. As soon as the heated air rushed past him, ruffling his perfect blond hair, he moved forward towards the entrance. His voice called out...contempt and disdain pouring out of it. "Oh Lobo...You've a visitor." The Force adept command the dark side to him and it heeded his call. Filling every fiber of his body and empowering him beyond any mere mortal. Not only was he the perfect specimen of human, as well as the perfect race, but he was a Sith as well. He was at the top of all the food chains but one, that being the Sith. Soon he would raise to trump all others in the more mystical aspect of his being as well though, but that path would take much time, devotion and pain to cross through. Saber in hand he stood before the ship, watching the exit and keeping a sharp watch over where the beast was moving in his ship. Such a blessing granted to him through the force. It was time for him to prove himself worthy of the Rank of Sith Lord. He had earned it.

Zad flexed his jaw, taking the pain in and allowing it to cross over into a reserve pool of energy. It stung, but it was not a sting to the pride only to the flesh. Women slapped, warriors did not. He could feel the blood mixing in with his hair. A spike of rage flared at the thought of his perfect hair being tainted with the crimson substance, but he did not let his anger get the better of him. Only the weak fall into the waiting arms of uncontrolled anger. The promise of Lord Ship for striking the beast before him down filled his ears and pleased him greatly. Not only would he finally attain the next rank, but he would also be able to rid the galaxy of this inferior species. What exactly Lobo was was still up for question though. From the looks of it he had once been human, but he was far from such now. The ice and burn patches upon him did not help Zad identify him either. "Such a beast...why was he ever granted life..." The pair stopped and watched on the final moments of the battle. Usually he would have looked to the Sith to see the victor, but this time he did not. He did not hope Slicer won, the beast would have to win this one if he wanted his trials. That was that. Slicer was not a good enough Warrior to top him anyways so he didn't deserve the glory of the win. Lobo would be his next victim...

The unforgiving blade of a lightsaber was feared by so many. They had heard the rumors, seen the holovids of duels ending in someone being cut in two with a simple flick of the wrist. Even those with an iron will thought twice before lashing out at someone with such a weapon; at least doing it unprepared. Zad's form had left an opening and it had been taken advantage of. The searing pain on his chest was immense, but it was not distracting as it would be to so many. He had not faced very many foes better then himself so far, but he had experienced more then his fair share of pain in this life time and he would be exposed to so much more in his service to the Sith. His face contorted in a fit of controlled rage, not from the pain, but from his thoughts. He was not meant to serve, he was meant to lead...to be in control. He would have his way soon enough, this was not the time for such thoughts.. Dark energies flowed from every section of his body into the charred, stinking flesh. His emotional power began to mix together, the negative energy continued to grow. Zad watched as the Kel Dor rolled forward at near impossible speeds, at least that is what his eyes showed. The living force that served him slowed every movement the other made down in his mind, just enough to provide time for his augmentated body to react. The pool of pure energy that had gathered in his chest was expelled all at once, hitting the hand and hilt of the beasts sword, knocking it off course just long enough for him to raise the hilt of his saber and bring it crashing down into the things face. Pain was just one path to power, he would help...enlighten this one as he did for him. Zad shot forward, planting his boot into the chest of Orik and propelling himself backwards. The sound of his boots hitting the floor echoed throughout the area. Zad looked up, his blue eyes shimmering with an unplaceable emotion. He kept a keen eye on Orik, watching his foe carefully. He couldn't help but feel a twisted pleasure from having his hit connect in such a way. His tongue flicked over his lips slowly, his left hand rose up to brush some of his moist blond locks back. He ran his fingers over the charred flesh, sending jolts of pain rushing through his body again. Lifting his head to the ceiling he let out a pleased smile at the feeling, enjoying every second of it. The blade in his right hand was a simple blur as he spun it in a large arc twice before gripping it with both hands, preparing himself to continue...
