  1. Ish did not reply for some time as he worked to gather a formidable answer to the Noghri's questions. Again he probed the Noghri's mind to place his reply. This time a visual was planted in Ghokorals head. Ish smiled at the Noghri. Quickly displayed were many thousands of images of jedi throughout the millennia helping to serve the republic and greater good of the galaxy. Countless good deeds and the feelings of accomplishment and well-being that accompanied them could be felt by the Noghri. This warm feeling was the quintessential feeling of the force for Ish, he only hoped to convey it in an understandable fashion to the newcomer. Ish spoke in a calm deliberate manor as the two beings must have looked funny not speaking just standing there to an unknowning onlooker. "Jedi is the name given to we force sensatives that serve and protect the galaxy for the greater good Ghokoral. I believe you may find answers in the jedi order and more importantly, the force." The jedi paused and let what he'd just said soak in to the Noghri.
  2. Ish smiled at Ghokaral as he felt abashed at his words. "It's okay Ghokaral, we can work on your skills in basic, you have plenty of time." The jedi thought momentarily as he sized up what would potentially be his next padawan......Through the force communication barriers did not exist. Ish sent a message to the Noghri with the aide of the force. Do you wish to learn the ways of the jedi, and uphold peace and justice throughout the galaxy at all costs? This path is not easy. With the question of his purpose at the jedi facility at hand Ish waited intently for Ghokoral to answer in any form he could.
  3. Striding away from the council chamber, Ish sensed a new presence within the jedi facility....A new being had come to hopefully be trained in the jedi ways. The jedi's numbers had become scant, and the guardians could scarcely tend to their usual tasks of peace keeping. Every new hopeful was a step in the right direction. The jedi took it upon himself to personally greet the new comer in the docking bay. With grace in his steps, the jedi headed for the docking bay. As he entered the docking bay, he noticed that the one he felt the presence of was indeed a rare breed for a Jedi....A Noghri. Ish himself had only read of Noghri in the expansive archives, and was elated to finally meet one in person. Calmly the jedi strode over to Ghorkoral and introduced himself. "Hi I'm Ish Ka Bibl, I welcome you to the jedi temple." The jedi clasped his hands inside his robes and bowed slowly.
  4. His padawan was practicing hard, and sometimes there would be lessons only the force could teach. Ish felt this was one of those times. Without a word, the jedi left the padawan to his own embrace of the force. Ish could sense Jareds concentration as he exited the gymnasium. He would not be gone too long. Ish headed for the council chamber in an attempt to receive any assignment from the jedi leaders.
  5. Ish rushed over to his padawan as he laid on the ground. With a small smile on his face he knelt down and placed his hands on Jareds chest and stomach instantly sending force energy into the young man. The effect was instantly calming and healing to the padawan. "I appologize Jared, I did not have the problem of stopping when I began training so it never occured to me to learn you that." Ish helped Jared up from the ground and dusted him off. "Lets try it again, this time maybe you don't want to go full speed so that you are able to figure out how to stop yourself. Again focus on the living force, it will aide you in this time and place." Ish walked the hundred yards or so to the other side of the room. The jedi folded his arms underneath his robes and waited patiently for his padawan to try again.
  6. Ish proceeded down the length of room he and Jared occupied. As he neared mid-way between Jared and the far wall he let the force take him. It protruded every part of his body and was an extension of himself. To Jareds naked eye, Ish became nothing more than a black blur. His robes were flailing in the air as he darted at a blistering pace down the cooridor. As he reached the end, Ish stopped and turned back towards his padawan who was now nearly one hundred hards away from him. Instead of yelling, Ish called out with the force. Come now, use the force to aide your movement and speed it up. Focus on your goal of becoming faster. The force will aide you if you use it wisely. Concentrate on yourself, but also the living force and the area around you at that specific moment. With that Ish stood, arms folded and waited for Jared to come to him across the room.
  7. Seeing nothing else that needed to be tended to, and the jedi masters confereing on their own, Ish lead his padawan to one of the newly finished areas of the facility. Around the two robots worked tirelessly putting together the base, joining old with new. A large room would serve as the next are for Jareds training. More meditation and focus would be needed, but he had established a connection with the force, and Ish could feel it. As the two stood on the end of a long room, also padded as on Haruun-Kal, Ish looked over to Jared at his side. "We will begin rudamentary force techniques here. I do not expect you to get them on your first try, as they are very difficult for someone with your current knowledge of the force."
  8. Ish's ship touched down in a clearing near where the force signatures of his fellow jedi could be sensed. With is padawan at his side, he exited his ship and made the short walk over to where the jedi masters were confereing. "Is there anything I can do to help master? I appologize for my lateness." Ish bowed to them...."May I also introduce my new padawan Jared Evans"
  9. The Osrco receives its coordinates and winks into hyperspace bound for Tempay.
  10. Ish received Kirlocca's message, and instantly uses the force to rush back to the meditation chamber where Jared was acquisitioning the force nicely from what Ish could feel. Ish stood momentarily to feel his padawan through the force. Instead of speaking he sent a message across the force to his padawan sitting a mere few feet away from him. Like a small cloud of smoke from a cigar, the message meandered through the force until it reached the padawan. I appologize, but we must leave and continue training on another planet, it is not safe here. Come we will take me ship. The two quickly made their way to their respective quarters and grabbed their belongings before heading to Ish's ship where they hastily left the base in the Osroc.
  11. Ish moved away from where he had been and examined the security monitors. The old circuits still formed a crystal clear image, and being well hidden they were virtually undetecable. A flash from one security camera caught the jedi's eye. Just as he rewound the tape a small proximity alarm went off alerting the jedi to a foreign object on the temple walls perimiter. Grabbing a an ion emulator capped flechet launcher, the jedi called upon the force to aide him in getting to the site of the foreign object. As he neared the site he could see another figure...a Zabrak leaving the general area....Oddly enough every sentient being can be felt with the force....Ish could not sense him though he was in plain vision...Something was not right.
  12. Ish was stood up as he was touched by the force from another fellow Jedi. He placed his hand on Jareds shoulder. "I must tend to matters of the temples security along with a couple other Jedi....I will return shortly though...Until then I wish for you to focus on the living force" Ish waved his hand around the chamber stopping it to focus on certain spots and objects. He spoke, "Feel the room, know it without looking at it, feel the others outside training in the gym. Focus all your energy on this task until I return. I appologize." With that Ish used the force to open the door and made his way to join Master Kirlocca and Goodwood. Making his way into the room he hurried over to the pair. "What can I do for you today?" He bowed his head in respect.
  13. Ish watched his padawan marvel at the granduer of the facility. Interrupting the awe that seemed to take Jared for the moment, Ish spoke. "You must learn to walk before you can crawl Jared. We will begin with meditation techniques so that you may learn how to better call on the force to help you in your physical tasks." The two entered one of the man meditation chambers. The small smooth surfaced chamber was lit with a blue ambient light that reflected a sense of calm that was needed for meditation by a padawan. A fully trained jedi could fall into meditation in any environment, but it was much more difficult for an untrained padawan to enter the correct mind state. Ish motioned for his padawan to sit cross legged next to him. The robes flowed over each individual as they sat bathed in blue ambient lighting. The jedi turned backed and used the force to shut the door, soundproofing the room completely. In a quiet state of calm Ish opened his mind up to his padawan and vise versa.
  14. "That is quite an astute observation Jared," Ish retorted in reply to his padawans comment. "It depends on which jedi you know. Different jedi have different views on the force, and it is unfortunate but some of these views are truely not of the jedi code though these individuals do manage to remain on the light side, it is only a matter of time before they fall to the dark side or meet their end." "However, it is not my place regail you on the current status of the jedi. Restructuring within our leadership will soon see us much more organised and consolidated." With that, the jedi led his padawan to the main gymnasium. It was a large open space with sunlight pouring through a large glass ceiling. Half of the floor space was completely made of matts to soften and falls that would and could take place. Racks upon racks of every known hand to hand weapon in the galaxy dotted the walls. Pairs of jedi sparred at different areas of the gym, some at times going so fast they became simple blurs of color. Off the side of the gym were locker rooms and meditation chambers. Ish motioned toward the gym as the two walked through the entrance. "Welcome to your new home for the next couple of months."
  15. "Follow me".....Ish searched the mans thoughts quickly...."Jared, is it?" The man shook his head in acknowledgement. The two proceeded done the halls and corridors with Ish leading the way. Silence marred their walk for some time until Ish spoke. "The path of the jedi is one of the most dangerous in the galaxy. Not for the fact that others resent us and revel in the killing of we jedi, but also for the fact that you must resist temptations and stay on the light path."....Ish stopped as Jared walked a few paces beyond before realising that his master had slowed. When the padawan turned Ish spoke in a menacing tone to test the padawans fear or hopefully lack there of. "The dark side will tempt you, and you must resist. Your soul is at stake." Ish let a comforting smile cross his face after he spoke. The padawan was pure of heart and would prove a terrible enemy to the darkside in time. "Come let us find your quarters and then we will proceed to the training gymnasium." The two men proceeded to Jareds new quarters....
  16. As Ish left the room he reached out with the force and let it blanket the Jedi facility on Haruun-Kal. He could feel the adepts and other fellow Jedi. One stood out in particular to him. A younger man with much on his mind, not far removed from Ish's own age. Confident and head strong, Ish hoped he was not some stranded freighter pilot or crew from a supply shuttle, but indeed a hopeful. The man had no connection with any other real force users, namely jedi at the facility leaving Ish to believe that indeed he was in need of a master. Ish navigated his way to the mans position near the main landing pads. He was seated on the benches waiting for something. The jedi could feel the force calling to him as well as to the man he was about to approach. The jedi came closer but conceiled himself behind a bulkhead some meters away from Jared Evans. Reaching out once more with the force, the jedi, like a small tingling in the ears sent a force message. Are you ready to give yourself to the force for the greater good of the galaxy?
  17. Ish bowed to the wookie. "Thank you master Kirlocca." Ish turned and left the room to continue his search for a new padawan.
  18. Ish stepped slowly out of the shadows and pulled his hood back form his head. "Master Kirlocca, I do not mean to intrude, I was just wondering how I could be of assistance at this juncture? I am here to take on my next apprentice, but I would like to know if there is anything that is in more diar need of attention." The jedi looked intently on the wookie as he made his way over to the chair to be seated.
  19. Ish enters the room where Kirlocca is quietly meditating. He does well to be quiet and hide his presence so as to not disturb the master. The jedi knight folds his arms beneath his robes and waits patiently on the side of the room.
  20. The jedi returned to the base from whence he orignally came. Generally devoid of space traffic, Haruun-Kal was a peaceful planet, perfect for the jedi. With proper clearance codes, the jedi set the Osroc down on the landing pad. Technicians scurried in to assess and damages or overhauls on the ship. Ish greeted each member of the team with a small bow. The jedi entered the base to find his new apprentice....
  21. As the jedi came into a slow orbit above Ryloth, he could sense the devistation. The on board R-2 unit began spitting out schematics and data on the planets current status. Ish called upon the force to calm his senses, as he was saddened by the heavy loss of life and his inability to do much for it. The jedi brought his craft down gracefully next to the Osroc. Running a standard test from the X-Wing next to it, he could see that his ship was remarkably undamaged. The X-wing would be picked up by remaining rebel forces in the area, so there was no worry for Ish about leaving it. One last thing remained however.....The jedi searched in a mile radius for his weapon. Eventually he came upon the smoldered ruins of his former body. Near it was the token he'd mainly come for.....his saber. The jedi picked it up with not so much as a word, and ignited it to make sure it was still in perfect working order. The hum echoed across the dead landscape as corpses littered it. Turning the blade off the jedi made a mad dash for his ship, and headed off the planet in the Osroc.
  22. Modified to keep up with the changing standards of dogfighting, the XJ3 piloted by Ish Ka Bibl winks into hyperspace.
  23. The foggy cloning chamber masked the jedi's subtle reanimation process. Day by day, tissue layer by tissure layer, his body was formed as hyper methods of molecular genetics were put to work by an automated computer. With the last cell splitting into place, the force employed itself once again into the body of the jedi.....This time something was different. The glass windows surrounding the smoke filled chamber of human efluence cracked as a fell wind could be felt within the area! To any force sensitive near the chamber the amount of energy given off was astounding for a simple jedi. A loud roar within his own mind was all that it took to awake Ish Ka Bibl. Instantly the jedi knew where he was and what had happened. It was not his first time in a cloning chamber, and may not be the last. The jedi sat up from his prostrate position with joints and tendons cracking. Reanimation was an exact science, but sometimes stiffness could not be helped. The jedi stretched and moaned as he worked the kinks out of his muscles. The force as his aide he instantly set into a short trance to help recenter his energy. As the jedi delved into the force he could feel a closer connection with the force than before.....Karma perhaps for the toll he'd paid on Ryloth? Reguardless, it was breath of fresh air for the young man. Ish got up from his table and walked directly out of the cloning facility of the dojo. The few adepts around gave solemn bows that were returned by the scantily clothed jedi. In no time Ish found his small quarters exactly how he left it. Doning a spare white tunic, he then covered with black robes making a striking clash of color that stood out. Something was missing though....."My ship...my saber", the jedi muttered to himself. Quickly commandeering a spare A-Wing the jedi blasted off and set coordinates for Ryloth.
  24. What was left of the goo from the Jedi's body slumped to the ground as it smoldered. The force however did not relinquish its hold on the spirit of the jedi protector. He would return.
  25. The jedi managed to deflect the first few bolts by igniting his lightsaber....but was unable to deflect the barrage sent by Ar-Pharazon afterwards. The stench of burnt flesh was instantly apparent. Ish hit the ground with a thud...his lightsaber turning off as he lost concentration. Lying on the ground as a few stray electric bolts still criss-crossed his body, the jedi looked back up at the hulking sith lord. "I have saved many innocent civilians already. The other jedi are of second concern. They are able to take care of themselves. They knew what they were getting in to as do I." The jedi in defiance of the dark lords will stood up, his body smoking mildly from the force electricity. His every body part now ached from the electricity shot through his bones as he slowly made it from his knees up to his full standing position. Again he put his mind in a calm state of concentration....The force flowed through him. "Do not attempt to insult the intelligence of the jedi. The wookie that stands next to you has not been long removed from us!"
