  1. Piccolo

    Naboo

Piccolo knew if Trowa was in this ominous dwelling, he had sensed the hunter's presence by now. No doubt there were also several sensors watching his every move. He felt very foolish. Does a fly usually walk up to the front of the spider's web to say hello? Piccolo did not like to think of himself as the weaker party, but he was no match for a Sith on his home turf. Piccolo was not hunting here, he was visiting, and he was conducting himself as a non hostile visitor. So he was really relying completely on Trowa's word. Ostensibly, he was here as someone who had done Trowa a favor. But reality could be quite different. Many have killed my body. And yet my soul still stands, for whatever that's worth. Trowa will certainly go down with me, in any case. Piccolo wasn't sure how to gain entrance. He stood at the foot of the imposing building and waited. He could feel the darkness emanate out. Despite the relatively warm weather, Piccolo found himself chilled, and adjusted his temperature controlled suit. Piccolo could smell Trowa's scent now. This mansion reeked of it. I don't believe in all of our fleet battles, and even in that last encounter, that I've actually seen Trowa Barton face to face. That is quite odd. "Come out Trowa Barton. I promised you once I'd wear your skin, and yet I saved that skin on Coruscant. Repay your debt."

    Naboo

A Firespray ship emerged from hyperspace. Piccolo had spent much time trying to ascertain the precise location of Trowa Barton. The Sith had a debt to pay. Piccolo knew he frequented Naboo. But beyond that, he would have to rely on some luck. His ship landed on the planet's surface, near one of the smaller settlements. Piccolo thought perhaps Trowa would have to repair his damaged Lyger. That's the only clue I have to go on. He questioned the locals, learning of a strange mansion rumored to exist several miles from the small city. Piccolo took his speeder into one of the rural areas of Naboo. The hunter unknowingly was swiftly approaching his old foe.
  3. Piccolo was not going to waste anymore time here. Fett was alive, deep down he knew it. But the man was exceedingly good at what he did. Piccolo could spend a lifetime searching for him in the city below and find nothing. There would always be another opportunity. He pushed his Firespray into hyperspace.
  4. Piccolo was not sure whether Fett was still in the building. He could pass up the opportunity, regardless. His ship fired it's lasers into the Cantina, collapsing much of its structure. Most of the civilians had fled already, but some were killed in the strike. A necessary sacrifice. Let's hope Fett was one of them. Piccolo pulled his ship to Jacen's location, opening the back hatch. He commed the Black Sun agent. "Let's get out of here. Where is your ship?"
  5. EDITED I misread the situation. I had a pretty cool entrance too. IC: Piccolo's Firespray ship emerged from the depths of space. Piccolo knew he was there. There was no doubt. He could feel him. He even thought he could smell him, all though the hunter knew even his senses were not that powerful. The Howling Runner took a steep dive toward the Mos Eisley Cantina. Piccolo's hand gripped his firing mechanism tightly. He sent a communication to Jacen. "Send me your location." Piccolo's request was merely a formality however. He was focused solely on the Cantina now, and the occupant within.
  6. Of all the rotten luck. Piccolo pulled his ship in a sharp u-turn. There was no sense in activating Foy's sensors. Though he was sure the one he had come to see had sensed his presence. Perhaps he could even read Piccolo's final thought. Another day Geki. The star's streaked by as the hunter headed into hyperspace.
  7. A Firespray ship comes out of hyperspace. It slowly approaches the world of Foy.
  8. Piccolo had just asked for general locations other Sith congregate at. This information was clearly more valuable however. He turned without a word, and headed into hyperspace.
  9. OOC: Yeah, that's my fault. I thought your last post was in reference to Pic. Apparently my break has left my RPing rusty. IC: Piccolo recieved the communication from Mindan. It was a serious matter, but it would have to wait. He needed to finish here first. It wasn't long after the message came through that Ason spoke up. Of course, was not one to take such a brush off so easily. "Perhaps you could inform me then of other areas in which the Sith congregate. Lord Ar-Pharazon once saw fit to show me the secret places of the Sith Order. And another Sith Master showed me this facility. This message is very urgent."
  10. Piccolo had thought it wise to follow the shuttle as it exited hyperspace and neared Cardia. The pilot seemed to be guiding him into the hangar bay. He landed his Firespray ship, the hangar doors closing with an especially ominous clang. The Vornskyr in his ship were going insane. This was a place of the Force no doubt. He left the animals inside, and jumped from the cockpit door. The large hangar was darker than it should have been. The lights were very dim. Piccolo was not afraid, but he was not stupid either. He had entered one of the dens of the Sith Order. It would be foolish to not be wary. He took stock of the one who had guided him in. There was a strange ripple effect along the man's skin just before the Sith spoke. But in spite of his inner revulsion and surprise, Piccolo's black visor betrayed no emotion. Such sights were to be expected in a place like this. The mechanical filter of his helmet spoke, "I'm looking for someone." Piccolo's Doshan nostrils could faintly detect the scent of the one he was searching for. But it had long passed out of this area. "His name is Jidai Geki. He used to have an association with your Order. I know he was here rather recently. I have some information he will find useful. I can of course pay you well if you have knowledge of his whereabouts." This was a dark and evil entity, but in Piccolo's experience, even Sith responded to the prospect of cold hard cash.
  11. A Firespray ship emerged from the space around Cardia. It approached the planet with one singular destination in mind. The creature in the cockpit had been given information not three months ago as to the location of this destination. It had been his plan to wipe it from the face of Cardia. Now, he came with a completely different purpose. A peaceful purpose. But that was hardly believable given his reputation. Regardless, the trick is getting into the atmosphere. It should be smooth sailing beyond that point. The creature slowed his engines and tried to drive casually.
  12. Piccolo moved through the base. There was a sense of awkwardness . . . and even sadness that he was not the leader of this planet or the Black Sun anymore. But there was also a feeling of freedom. He pushed these uncomfortable emotions away as best he could, deciding to concentrate on his surroundings. The base had only been partially completed before the Big Battle, as he'd come to call it. It had previously only possessed the bare bones necessary to operate the organization. Walking through the base, he realized it was now a full facility with all the modern comforts. Piccolo had indeed been gone awhile. But it appears my things have not been disturbed. Piccolo had opened the door to his old quarters. It only took a cursory glance to realize no one had apparently had time to remove his things. His eyes immediately fell on his most prized possession. In the middle of the room, a singular light illuminated his Black Sun Eclipse Armor. Piccolo had died in his new body built by CORE. His old armor had been left behind. Now that Piccolo's madness was gone, he was ready to return to his former self. It felt like reconnecting with an old friend. This time, no cybernetics either. Smash's and then my own additions to my body and brain drove me insane. The Force, for whatever reason, has seen fit to return my soul to this Earth. Or more likely, an accident of the Force has resurrected me. This time I intend to see things with my own eyes. Piccolo finished fitting his armor to his body. With a loud whoosh, he returned his helmet to his head. He gazed out through the visor's readout. Well, more or less. Piccolo didn't hesitate. He walked with a singular purpose toward the hangar. He had released his three vornskyr from their pens on the way and the animals trailed behind them. The hunter had them caged for so long now he had almost forgotten he'd captured them. The animals were obedient to his commands still and would come in handy for what lay ahead. Before he departed Coruscant, Piccolo had called the Howling Runner to Dubrillion. Piccolo entered the hangar bay to find his ship waiting. Droids had given it a tuneup and a nice new shine. Only one more thing left.[/ Piccolo took it upon himself to raid the armory. There were a few items he had stored in there from previous attacks. They had never been used, and Piccolo didn't expect them to be. That combined with the Black Sun's wealth, and Mindan's indication he was welcome to use Black Sun resources, alleviated what little guilt he was capable of feeling. The hunter took a disassembled Genoshan Sonic Cannon, and two Destroyer Droids, remnants of an old attack on the Jedi Temple. He returned to his ship. Piccolo took one last look at Dubrillion. It was the first time he had ever departed from the planet without being leader of this organization. For most of his life he had lived as a slave. But for the past several years in fairy-tale like manner he had risen to the level of Atlas, with the Black Sun on his shoulders. And now he was mortal again. It was an odd situation. Piccolo only permitted this nostalgia for a brief moment. Then it was back to business. Let the hunt begin. Piccolo was soon in space.
  13. Piccolo appreciated the effort, but he grabbed Mindan's actually hand instead. Piccolo was half human after all. He did not have the full dexterity of a human, but he was able to grip enough to shake hands. He had always had a tendency to play down his Doshan blood whenever possible. "I look forward to helping you anyway I can. If you'll excuse me, I have some things I need to look into." Piccolo had already verified that his belongings had not been destroyed. They remained on Dubrillion. Piccolo needed to get prepared. He would be departing soon.
  14. Much of Piccolo's volatility remained. But there was no cause for the hunter to be angry. Piccolo could understand Mindan's reaction. The man had misunderstood Piccolo's words. Or more likely, Piccolo had been unclear. "I do not want you or any Black Sun member involved in this. The list is for me to worry about alone. If you guys were to get involved it could conceivably ruin your plans." Piccolo honestly had high hopes the Black Sun would succeed in his absence. He would not burden them with his own goals again. "No, the only thing I require is a place to stay and pursue my plans. In return, I am at your disposal should you need my expertise. After all, though I was leader of the Black Sun, I was a bounty hunter first."
  15. Piccolo's inner reaction was mixed. As Mindan gave his update, there were points where Piccolo was impressed and points where he was disappointed. But he was not leader now. Mindan was. Mindan had to have his own style, or it wouldn't work. He could see the man certainly did. Piccolo wouldn't always agree with that style, but that was irrelevant. Overall, Piccolo believed the Black Sun was going in a positive direction. It was Mindan's questions that left him truly out of his element. He had avoided thinking about the subjects Mindan brought up. "My existence is as puzzling to you as it is to me. I believe it is a combination of factors. I am a non-Force user that has had extensive interaction with the Force, probably more than anyone who is not born with that power. Midnight Rose, a Dark Jedi, imprisoned my soul. Ara-lai Kaipi retrieved it. Both used Force powers few have ever seen. And then my former body was built, giving me the power to take the Force out of those with the gift, and use it, in spite of not having an in-born ability. I think that the Force energy I had collected preserved my soul, and kept it from crossing into the next world. That's really as much as I understand of it, so far." The hunter didn't elaborate on how exactly he came to inhabit a new body. He didn't really know anything beyond what he had told Mindan. He had little memory from the time just before his death, until the time he found himself sitting in the Last Call. It was distressing. There was a time when I would have laughed off such things as superstition. A lot about has certainly changed. Piccolo quickly changed the subject. "I admire what you've gathered here. It is a good course of action. I think the Black Sun went as far as it could under the Smash-style of leadership which I copied to a certain extent. We are in a new age. Government factions dominate now. The Hutts are gone. SEED is gone. We are really the only faction of our type that still survives. Groups like the Link aren't really comparable. The Black Sun has to adapt, and I believe you are the man to change it." Piccolo meant every word. Mindan needed to know Piccolo was behind him all the way. Especially if Piccolo was to have Mindan behind him. "I don't have a plan. Instead I have a list. It is a list of people who must be destroyed. This is not simple vengeance. It is something much more." Piccolo avoided the word destiny. No doubt that would bring back memories of his previous madness. This wasn't like that at all. He had a larger goal in mind, a very ambitious goal. But it was an unlikely scenario that he felt it too early to share. "I have no desire to lead or change the course of the Black Sun. But I do feel the organization owes me something, and I owe it something. I will help you when you ask. If the Black Sun gets into trouble, I will be there. If you need advice or need information, I will share it. If you feel there is something the operatives can't do, all you need to do is ask me. In exchange, I ask for use of your facilities. Not the new secret facility, just Dubrillion and perhaps the Citadel. I'm not talking as any sort of war center, but really just as a place to stay or heal if I need to. Now, I may do things that aren't always in line with Black Sun desires. You don't need to worry about that. If that should happen, it will be well away from here, with no association to the organization." He left it at that, waiting for Mindan's reaction. Piccolo would be angry if Mindan refused. But it was his right. He was leader now. Perhaps he thought Piccolo useless or too dangerous to have around. Piccolo would respect that.
  16. Piccolo exited the ship. He recieved Kal's communication immediately upon his arrival. The hunter had expected the real situation to be something like that. Kal had not been unwise to defuse his presence there by showing fortitude. Piccolo had probably thrown a rather large monkey wrench in their plans. But seeing Zara squirm had been worth it. So Mindan is the real leader. Mindan had a calculating and intelligent nature about him as a member of the Black Sun. Piccolo was not surprised he had siezed power. No doubt he suspects I have returned to take power back. I would suspect as much in his place. That is wrong of course. Piccolo had many plans. Unless Mindan was desperate to reliquish control, leading the Black Sun was not one of them. The organization seemed in good shape, and Piccolo was satisfied at its current direction. He needed Mindan to hear that personally though, to assuage the man's concerns. He didn't have to wait long as Mindan personally entered the hangar. "The heir to my command presents himself at last." It was a tense moment. But at last, Piccolo extended his hand. "Congratulations. I would have selected no one else, had I been present."
  17. Piccolo couldn't be sure what he was seeing was real. Was this Jedi actually shaking with fear? The hunter was himself someone shaken by this prospect. In all his years, none of his enemies had ever expressed fear. Maybe his new body was just better able to detect it. Piccolo could tell Nom's vital signs were changing. His heart beat was increasing. Under normal circumstances, Piccolo would have thought it a trick of the Force. But he knew that was impossible. He had gotten into the Jedi's head. It was almost frightening to the hunter. He wanted his enemies to respect him, and always assumed he wanted to intimidate them. But now, he wasn't so sure. Either way, Piccolo was not about to get overconfident. The Jedi was not paralyzed with fear, there was still something left in his enemy's eyes. Dwelling on the whole scene was a waste of time. A cornered, frightened animal is the most dangerous thing you can face. This must end. That didn't mean Nom's condition wasn't an advantage to the hunter. Fearful creatures also made dumb decisions. Piccolo slowly began to advance as he spoke. "Hou-Jo can and did slaughter all of those warriors. But not for any sort of gain or purpose. He did it to save his own skin. He's out of this battle now, he ran away. I would venture to guess it will some time before you see him again, if ever. Onderin sold your Order out too. Don't be naive Jedi. Your Order is just as full of crooks and phonies as you claim the Black Dawn is. The difference is they are your leaders. I am devoid of guilt. It is impossible. The Force has granted me a vision." Piccolo was definitely not naive. Not since he had crossed over and returned to this world. His eyes had been opened. "Don't feel too bad. The Sith are no better. The Rebels are taking the brunt of this battle, and I have no doubt their leader believes the defeat of our fleets will mean years of Imperial dominance. And who knows? He may turn out to be right." Piccolo didn't believe that at all. He knew in his nonexistant heart his destiny could only mean one result of the enemies of the Black Dawn. They would be enshrouded in darkness. Nevertheless, he couldn't deny the Imperial presence was troubling because of this new fleet commander. His Force power was off the charts in comparison to what Piccolo had seen. It rivaled that of Crimson Morpheus. That must be what Nom is feeling now. What I felt when I fought the Dark Jedi. Fear at knowing your enemy is something not of this realm. But I won. Don't forget that. Nom could be victorious too, if I'm not careful. Piccolo had no intention of letting it get that far. Nom had to be destroyed or at least neutralized quickly. Piccolo was closer to Nom now. Just close enough. He suddenly threw the cortosis gun at the Jedi. The medium-sized weapon was hurtled with surprising speed, especially for one who couldn't sense it coming. The distraction gave time for Piccolo to raise his hand and fire while Nom's eyes were focused on the seemingly foolish toss. Liquid nitrogen struck the front of his opponent. It hit his hands, his face, and some of his torso. Thick fog-like steam rose from the surprised Jedi. Piccolo pulled his vibro-sword. "Step down. Onderin is no friend to you, and neither is that enemy Admiral. You cannot sense his power. I can. He is way more powerful than any Jedi I have come across. The longer you stand in my way, the worse it will be for the galaxy. I'm only after Force-users after all, not everyone." Plus, they both knew Nom was in trouble. A small impact against the parts of his body struck by the liquid would shatter them. Nom's options were clear. Back down, or join Scorpio as part of Piccolo's fuel reserves. ((2))
  18. Piccolo's sensors detected approaching Delta's from behind as well as the return of the Force. Both developments were disappointing. The Deltas were well trained, but not really independent thinkers. They would not be prepared for a warrior like him. But combined with this Jedi, anything could happen. Victory was never assured. And then of course there's the loss of another Harvester. I am hesitant to bring another in, but I have no choice. He gave the order for all the stops to be pulled. This was where it ended, for better or for worse. Piccolo put the outside battle out of his head. He would have to allow the fleet commanders to fend for themselves from this point on. The hunter knew the Force had returned. That would make this exceedingly more difficult. He had no choice but to hope they could defend this new Harvester. He couldn't waste another one. Piccolo's scanners focused on the most immediate threat. So this is the one who trained Scorpio. I can still feel his apprentice's life energy within me. I'm sure Nom can sense it himself. "Jedi, regardless of the outcome of this battle, the world as you know it is forever altered. Your own leader needlessly slaughtered his warriors on the surface. I can sense Poleb's individual signature, and I know he just fled this ship as well. He is a coward. The galaxy will know of his crimes whether or not I win the day." Piccolo was not finished. He had revealed the Jedi for what they were, and wanted Nom to face it. "And then you have Onderin Starlisk, a supposed Jedi. Did you know he made a treaty with the Black Sun? In exchange for cortosis, he agreed to allow us to freely attack the Jedi, which we did. The Republic did not lend aid. Onderin found the good of the government worth sacrificing a few of his Order. Think about it if you don't believe me. Did he rush to your side this time either? No he did not. It was only when we used our new Force Harvester weapon was activated that they stepped in. The Jedi are expendable to the government. But Onderin wants to make sure his own Force power is preserved. I guess history repeats itself." Piccolo circled the young warrior, watching to see how he reacted to these words. As he spoke, Piccolo was plotting battle strategy. He found it much easier to do this with readouts giving him dozens of different options. This was his battle to lose. They were in close quarters. He felt that gave him the advantage. He came to a decision on how to start quickly. Piccolo pulled a medium sized gun from his side. The hunter was covered in various weapons, many hidden within his body. This one though seemed suited to their surroundings. "Drop your lightsaber, and I will stop firing. Or die. It is your decision." The boom of the weapon echoed through the hallway. Huge cortosis rounds flew from the barrel toward Nom and his useless lightsaber. "Force or no Force Jedi, I am built to destroy you. I will have your life force, just as I took the energy of your apprentice." Indeed, even now Nom could feel a trickle of his power being drawn out of his soul. ((1))
  19. ((I don't think he is. He's still in the hangar, we're deep into the ship. That also means they can't get to the troops with me until they find us) Piccolo sensed the approach of Nom and realized he could flee no longer. The Jedi knew the ship better than he did, it was only a matter of time. He ordered his troops to stand down. Force or no, this Jedi was too strong for them. Besides, Piccolo would need lots of energy to fight Onderin. Piccolo turned around, and walked toward Nom. He appeared before the surprised Jedi, turning the corner. "Couldn't sense my presence? What a shame."
  20. A representative of the Black Sun releases a statement. "These ridiculous accusations are unacceptable. A lawsuit will be filed against the source of these claims. First of all, the person that released this did not even get the name of our organization right. Secondly, if he really is from the Jedi, he admits that they destroyed their own to get at the so-called invaders. The reality is the Black Sun has intervened in a rebellion against Jedi tyrants on Haruun Kal. The Republic decided to break its non-intervention treaty and make it a full scale war. But we fully intend to stick by the freedom fighters on the surface. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the Jedi, civilians, and freedom forces that were destroyed in the Jedi's destruction of their own Temple. Should we capture the culprit, he will face trial as a war criminal."
  21. OOC: I know Onderin. Three posts seems fair right? Assuming I am not halted. IC: Piccolo's troops continued to advance. The walls of the Rebel ship were drenched in blood of many colors as the Raptors carved up the species onboard. Piccolo had fallen back now allowing his men to do most of the work. The screams of dying Rebels were a distant background noise. Piccolo was troubled by the course of this battle. Some of my men have simply not made their arrivals here. Perhaps I waited too long. Perhaps they are simply unreliable. Either way, when we win the day, there will have to be several changes. The plans will have to be completely altered if we are to take on the Imperial fleet. One thing at a time. I have an Admiral to execute. Piccolo ignored Onderin's comm. He had said what he had to say. The idea that Onderin was just there to "observe" his fellow Jedi be slaughtered was absurd. The Admiral was insulting him with such nonsense. Piccolo picked up a young, injured Rebel officer. He had a small connection with the Force greater than a normal human. The hunter removed his life force increasing his own power. The man's corpse shell fell to the ground. Piccolo had never felt this strong. All of the Victory Class Destroyers were now in Space. As was a new Force Harvester. Three Destroyers and a contingent of TIE Defenders and E-wings made a triangle defense formation around the Harvester. The vessel activated, withdrawing the Force from Haruun Kal and the surrounding space battle. The warriors here were once more completely without the use of their Force abilities. ((1))
  22. OOC: Onderin I was talking to myself, not you. Silas Not destroying the ship, I'm boarding it. IC: Piccolo returned Kal's message. "Now that Jacen and myself are aboard the Defiant, there's no need for you to come anyway. Do you what you wish there, but keep as many of our destroyers alive as possible. I am sending for more ships." Piccolo commed for the presence of seven more Victory destroyers to add to the six he just brought in as well as another Force Harvester. Now that Piccolo was onboard, he could communicate directly with Onderin. "Jedi Onderin, you promised not to interfere with our attacks against the Jedi. How would your friends feel if they knew that? You came here, to the Haruun Kal system and I was not unwise to assume your intentions were less than friendly. Your mere presence here is a violation of our arrangement. I am in your ship, and I will soon be wearing your skin. We have another fleet and another Force Harvester coming. Your forces will fall." Piccolo advanced his soldiers. He knew Jacen was elsewhere taking care of those Mandalorian wannabes. Piccolo was also able to sense the presence of Nom approaching the hangar. Best to avoid that Jedi now, whoever he is. I need to end this quickly. Piccolo advanced impervious to fire from Rebel soldiers. His sword blazed through them like a Jedi cutting down Storm Troopers. They fell with cries of agony impaled upon his sword. His advancing soldiers followed killing the ones Piccolo missed. No one who they encountered lived. Piccolo stole the life force of any who possessed even a miniscule connection to Force power. Piccolo took the left route out of the hangar, the opposite direction from which Nom was coming. The hunter knew where Onderin was, and he was intent on avoiding Nom. He tore down durasteel doors wherever they blocked his advance. He was headed for the Admiral, and nothing would stop him.
  23. Six more Star Destroyers emerged from space and released their compliment of E-wings and TIE Defenders. They began to move in and rescue the ships, starting with the Kraken and then the Daisaku's Revenge. Piccolo commed Slicer. "Take control of these new ships. I will take care of the Rebel flagship." Piccolo gathered a contingent of Raptor, Juggernaut, and magna guards. He proceeded to a large transport, ordering the troops inside. Piccolo took control of a TIE Defender. The ship launched well guarded by other starships. Piccolo's ships plowed through the enemy fighters. He sensed Onderin, and was determined to destroy him. The transport was badly damaged and slid sideways into the hangar bay of the Defiant. Piccolo's Defender landed behind, the hunter quickly leaping from the starfighter. Juggernaut troops created a perimeter as the Black Dawn forces began to advance.
  24. Stunning electricity flowed through Piccolo's light-whips. The hunter gripped an unconscious Scorpio by his throat. The life energy flowed from the Jedi into Piccolo's body. Soon the apprentice's body was a grotesquely deformed shell, completely devoid of all life. Piccolo had planned to take a prisoner. But Scorpio had fought too fiercely to be a candidate for torture. Besides, he had been hungry. I've fooled around long enough. Time to get back to the real work . . . Piccolo did not get a chance to finish his thought. An explosion rocked his ship. Flames burst through enveloping his body. But his metal skin was impervious to the fire. As it died, Piccolo saw how evil the Jedi truly were. There were many lives the hunter could no longer detect, Jedi among them. They would slaughter their own instead of surrendering. Of course, the subsequent inferno the Black Dawn administered did the same, as Piccolo would have been killed if he had been made of flesh. He would have to speak with his operatives about risking his life. Once the explosions died down, Piccolo moved quickly call a transport from above, limping slightly. He jumped into the cockpit. A small droid worked fast repairing the minor damage to his frame. The hunter was soon inside the belly of The Kraken. The first thing he did was sense the location of Onderin Starlisk. Piccolo knew with communications down between the Rebels, the Jedi could not hear him. He ranted nonetheless, "What is this treachery? The terms of our agreement were we get to execute the Jedi with no Rebel interference. Have we supported any Imperial attacks against the Rebels or defended the Sith Order? No. You are a liar Admiral and will suffer with the rest of the Force manipulators." Piccolo's sensors caught another setback. He watched the Force Harvester explode in a blaze of destruction. This Harvester is destroyed. The damage will begin to GRADUALLY wear off, and the Force will return. Piccolo was not about to let that go unpunished. He linked with the Daisaku's Revenge, the Lictor Class Dungeon Ship. It moved subtly amongst the SD's, two of which were flaming. Suddenly it let loose with its two powerful tractor beams, all aimed toward Aryian's ship, the Blur. The Viper-Class ship was too powerful to permit any further attacks from the vessel. All ten of its quad laser batteries smashed into the vessel destroying the aft shield generator. Only a few more shots . . . Meanwhile, Piccolo sent a comm to Silas. "Engage those new ships with your fighters." He commed Kal as well. "We're losing SD's, but I caught the culprit. Attack the ship Onderin is on." Piccolo could sense the Admiral with his new powers. He sent the coordinates to Kal. "Prepare a boarding party and hit this ship. I will join you soon." Piccolo also sent word to an encoded location. Six more Star Destroyers were on their way.
  25. OOC: I'm going to alter the maiming part, Scorp said it was a mistake over pm. Plus I think it would take a very long time to sit there and saw through his leg even if it was flesh. IC: Piccolo was unable to feel the blows rain down on him. It would have been sensible to raise his sword in defense, but Piccolo was willing to put his body through these attacks. If it could not take this, there was no chance of him completing his destiny. Perhaps he was having too much fun. There was a battle waging around him. Piccolo started a bit as he saw a hilt seemingly emerge from his chest. The vibro-blade of Scorpio had buried itself in his chest causing minimal damage. Piccolo watched the attacks as if detached from the whole scene. He knew what it was a like for a Jedi to out maneuver his Force-less opponent with such ease. He watched Scorpio's impressive acrobatic skills, but his flesh and blood body could do little harm. Piccolo collapsed on the ground hypnotized by this scene. Suddenly, he snapped back to reality. His sensors began to go off. More arrivals. This has attracted the attention of the Republic. I will have to speak with them. They have betrayed our arrangeme . . . Piccolo had allowed himself to be distracted. The apprentice was sawing off his leg! The absence of pain receptors was not as beneficial as he had assumed. The hunter kicked out sending him back a few paces. He jumped onto his feet again. The damage is repairable, but not minor. My balance is off, and I don't have complete use of it. Fool! That must have been a powerful weapon to cut through his alloy. But the Jedi were full of cursed blades and deadly traps. They dabbled in sorcery as much as the Sith. Piccolo was tired of playing games and was growing angry. For better or worse, this ended now. He spun his large sword showing off his quick skills. "Many times a Jedi has approached me in this way. You accuse me of being a dark-sider, but it is the Jedi that use fear as their weapon. I do accept your apology though." Piccolo was still fairly mobile and was able to corner Scorpio. The other warrior stabbed out, and with one swift Jedi-like motion he blocked and disarmed him. They both stood motionless, the Jedi's beady eyes calculating a way out. Unable to sense the danger, the Jedi had not seen Piccolo's stun whips snaking out of his lowered wrist. They wrapped around his legs. "Don't despair. You will be spared death." ((2)) (Good duel, good luck)
