  1. Shagmog, the Rodian in charge of the fleet positioned around Bespin, paces back and forth across the main deck of the fleet's flagship, a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser known as Tatooine's Own. After a moment, Shagmog orders a burly alien to his left to send two ships to guide Wyhl the Hutt's personal ship down to Cloud City. After another moment, two Skipray Blastboats rocket off. The pilot, a droid, of one of the ships sends a message to Wyhl the Hutt's personal ship. "Board a shuttle, and we will escort you to your personal landing pad on Cloud City. Baron Ordeena has been expecting you."
  2. Ob Ordeena sends a message back over the open frequency. "Oh, why don't you just get yourself killed again?" *** Ob Ordeena leans back in his over-sized chair and closes his eyes. With one head-tentacle wrapped around his neck, and the other hanging down his chest, the Twi'lek gangster considers his next moves. After several minutes of silent contemplation, Ordeena flips a switch on the side of his desk and sends a quick message to Shagmog ”“ the Rodian in charge of the fleet positioned around Bespin. After sending the message, Ordeena gets up from his over-sized chair and heads back over to a bulky droid in the corner of his office to continue his live transmission to Coruscant.
  3. Ob Ordeena chuckles to himself as he listens to Piccolo's message, and, after it finishes, leans forward in his over-sized chair and presses a button on the side of his impressive desk. A moment later, a strange communicator pops free from an opening on the desk's side, and the Baron Administrator of Cloud City sends out his own message.
  4. Rebel Leader Spreads Lies Over The 'Net Galactic Associated Press: Friends, foes, and fruits, it is I, Ob Ordeena, Baron Administrator of Cloud City. I have come before you to clear up some nasty rumors that have been floating about over the ”˜net. It appears that the rebels wish to create chaos, by spreading malicious lies about the Hutts. I wish to set the record straight. The Hutts, and I, of course, had no part in the recent attack on Coruscant. According to my agents, it was the rebels who attacked Coruscant. The rebels, guided by their terrorist leader, this Forn Dodonna, wish to destroy the peace that the Empire has crafted ”“ I urge everyone, every man, woman, child, and alien to take up arms against the rebels. Good night, and remember, the Hutts are innocent.
  5. Ob Ordeena leans back in his over-sized chair, his feet placed up on his massive desk, a devilish smile played across his once handsome features. The Twi'lek gangster, no, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City, takes a sip from a glass filled with Trandoshan blood, and then turns his full attention to the view-screen on the wall to his immediate left. The news networks were reporting that Piccolo, head of some major business enterprise, had been assassinated. The networks were also reporting that the rebel forces, those that wanted to put an end to the Empire's rule, had crashed a ship of some sort into the building that Ordeena knew as the Black Sun's corporate citadel. Ordeena smiles, and finishes his glass of Trandoshan blood. TC-43 enters the Baron Administrator's head office. "Droid, I am a, um, Twi'lek of my word; transfer the credits that I promised to the mercenaries. When you're done with that, bring me another glass of blood. Watching criminal empire's crumble makes me thirsty."
  6. Convicted Sex Offender Spreads Lies Over The 'Net Galactic Associated Press: Luthis Vandren, one of the sick individuals charged with sexually harassing a young Bith musician on a deserted Coruscant landing pad, has been lacing the ”˜net with malicious lies, in a vain attempt to defame Ob Ordeena, Baron Administrator of Cloud City. At the present time, a bounty has been placed on Vandren, a known sex offender. More to come.
  7. A distorted message floats across the ”˜net. Warn the Imperials... Rogue Hutts... Star Destroyer...
  8. Ob Ordeena rises from his over-sized chair. Throughout the conversation, the Baron Administrator's face had turned deep red, and his breathing had become laborious. "This is an outrage! I have not authorized this! Reestablish the connection, droid! The rogue Hutts must not attack Coruscant! The rogue Hutts are insane! Droid, yes you, patch me though to the Imperial network, the Empire must be notified!" Balos Krathe is granted permission to leave.
  9. "The Wookiee should go with you peacefully, failing that, knock the beast out." Ob Ordeena leans back in his over-sized chair and begins to twiddle his thumbs. After a moment, the Baron Administrator leans forward and plays with the buttons on the side of his desk. "I can grant you access, you'll have landing platform C-33 for your use. It is on the far side of Cloud City. I'm afraid you'll still have to ask for permission to land though, just until we know one another better."
  10. "Mandalorian armor ”“ that sort of armor used to mean something. Those who wore were a cut above the rest, they were something different. It is a pity so many fools wear it these days. One of Piccolo's boys in the Black Sun wears a suit of Mandalorian armor ”“ it always seemed to me like he was pretending to be something more than he really was. We will see, my bounty hunter, if you truly deserve to wear that armor in the end." Ordeena finishes his glass of Trandoshan blood and tosses his glass aside. "And now to business, it turns out that I do need you to track down a Jedi for me. But I don't want this Jedi harmed, not unless he refuses to come to Bespin. The Jedi I want you to track down and bring to me is a Wookiee, and his name is Kirlocca. Do you think you can handle that?"
  11. "Your salary will be substantial, worry not." Ob Ordeena drinks more Trandoshan blood and switches on a view-screen on the wall to his left ”“ the image depicts a large Trandoshan being slaughtered and then his remains being chopped up and his blood gathered. "So, where are you from?"
  12. Ob Ordeena raises a single finger to Balos Krathe, and then quickly sends a reply to Wyhl the Hutt. After a moment, the Baron Administrator turns back to the bounty hunter.
  13. "TC-43, take our lively little dancing girl here and my son down to one of the bars or casinos, I have business to attend to." Using one hand, the battered protocol droid grabs little Morst Tayl'skar by the leg and lifts him up. TC-43 then grasps Bekka's shoulder and guides her out of the Baron Administrator's head office. Outside the office, TC-43 drops Morst Tayl'skar, and pushes both mother and child into a turbo-lift. The three head down to one of Cloud City's seedy bars, where TC-43 watches the dancers quite intently. Morst Tayl'skar is given a large glass of Corellian ale by the bartender. Back up in his office, Ordeena pours himself another glass of Trandoshan blood. As the Baron Administrator drinks, Balos Krathe is escorted in by several of Ordeena's top guards. Ordeena pours a glass of Trandoshan blood for Krathe, and motions for the bounty hunter to take a seat. "Have I got a deal for you, my bounty hunter. How would you like to work here at Cloud City as my personal bounty hunter? You'd be given a set amount of credits each quarter, light work, and plenty of opportunities to kill my enemies. What do you say?"
  14. A small beacon on the far side of one of Bespin's moons suddenly comes alive ”“ a red light activates on the side of the beacon, and it begins to transmit a coded message to Cloud City. Immediately, two Skipray Blastboats blast away from the floating metropolis, and enter space. As the two Skiprays head for the Bloodlust, Ob Ordeena receives Balos Krathe's transmission. Ordeena sends a message to one of the Skiprays and the pilot of the Skipray in turn sends a message to the Bloodlust. "You will follow me to Cloud City. Do not, under any circumstances, deviate from the set course, or you will be destroyed."
  15. Ob Ordeena leans back in his over-sized chair and licks his lips. The Baron Administrator of Cloud City had just finished watching a news report, something about a strange fleet attacking and decimating the Black Sun's fleet of obsolete ships. Smiling, Ordeena orders his droid, TC-43, to pour him another glass of Trandoshan blood - Ordeena had grown accustomed to drinking the blood of lesser species. As Ordeena drinks, a beeping noise indicates that the renegade Hutts had arrived. Ordeena finishes his drink and turns to TC-43. "Tell the renegades to be on alert. Although the Black Sun has suffered heavily, that green-skinned snake Piccolo still might have a few tricks up his sleeve. Also send up a few cases of Trandoshan blood for the renegades to drink, that and our finest Corellian ale." As TC-43 hobbles off to follow Ob Ordeena's orders, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City closes his eyes and thinks about his son.
  16. Piccolo Attacks Young Bith Musician Galactic Associated Press: Piccolo, the current head of the Black Sun, was arrested today by the Imperials on charges that he, and an acquaintance, attempted to sexually molest a young Bith musician on a landing pad outside of Coruscant's Last Call Cantina. The Imperials arrested Piccolo, and his acquaintance, Luthis Vandren, after the pair left the young Bith musician lying in a pool of blood. An Imperial spokesperson has said that Piccolo may have falsely identified himself as a Imperial agent before ripping off the young Bith musician's clothes (on a side note, the young Bith musician's pipe is still missing). Piccolo and his acquaintance, Luthis Vandren, are being charged with sexual harassment, criminal impersonation, and criminal mischief. It is not clear how the arrest may effect his leadership of the Black Sun - a criminal organization bent on taking over the Core. Representatives for Piccolo were not available for comment as of press time.
  17. Ob Ordeena pours what's left of his drink of Trandoshan blood onto the surface of his desk. The Baron Administrator then runs one of his pointed fingers over the mess of blood, and then uses his blood-covered fingertip to write down an amount on the surface of a datacard to his right. With a smile, Ordeena pushes the datacard across his desk and over to Mike Attard. "Written in Trandoshan blood, ironic no? As for the ships that will be backing you up, you can use my fleet - a single Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, two Nebulon-B Frigates, four Corellian Corvettes, two Imperial Star Destroyers, and numerous smaller assault ships, as well as the ships belonging to the renegade Hutts. How does that sound?"
  18. Ob Ordeena extends his cane for Patch Deftide to shake. "You have your mission. Good luck, my bounty hunters."
  19. "Mike, Rane, Tekkan was it? You know what you have to do." Ob Ordeena downs the Trandoshan blood. A moment later, Patch Deftide enters. With a sigh, Ordeena pushes another button, and then a strange sounds fills the air. "Just the bounty hunters that I wanted to see. Please, take a seat. Can I interest you in anything to drink? Trandoshan blood, perhaps? Just ask TC-43 when you decide. Now to business. I will be plain in my speech. Quite simply, I want the Black Sun crushed. I want Piccolo killed. I want all of his little followers killed. I want the Black Sun citadel on Coruscant to be destroyed. I am willing to pay you any reasonable amount." Ordeena shakes his head. "Had to rewind. I wasn't about to make that speech again."
  20. Ob Ordeena smiles, and a presses a button on the control panel on his desk. After a few moments, a haunting voice fills the Baron Administrator's head office. "Wipe them out, all of them." Ob Ordeena then asks TC-43 for another glass of Trandoshan blood.
  21. "I don't know why the Black Sun attacked Cloud City - the Hutts and the Black Sun have always had such a good working relationship in the past. If I were to venture a guess though, I'd say that the whole thing was down to that green-skinned snake known as Piccolo. No offense, but a mere bounty hunter does not have what it takes to run a criminal organization. I'd say that because of his poor leadership, the Black Sun was rotting from the inside; the green-skinned snake probably just wanted to take someone down with him and his pathetic Black Sun. Keep in mind, that is just a guess on my part, I really don't understand the minds of mad men." Ob Ordeena smiles, and then finishes his glass of Trandoshan blood. "Oh, and if you value your eyes, you'll keep them off of my woman."
  22. A single Skipray Blastboat rockets away from Cloud City and meets the Shadow Strike and the Harmatia. The Skipray Blastboat zips around the two ships, and then escorts them over to Cloud City. Cloud City's control sends a message to the two ships, telling them that a private landing platform, platform X-11, was ready for them. After watching the Shadow Strike and the Harmatia land, the Skipray Blastboat rockets off to collect Rane Scando. On platform X-11, a battered copper-plated protocol droid stands. The droid bows as Mike Attard and Tekkan Raas exit their ships, and without a word, gestures for them to follow, and then guides them through the floating metropolis. They head to the bowels of Cloud City, passing numerous guards as they do, and eventually wind up at the Baron Administrator's new head office. The copper-plated protocol droid leaves, and another droid, TC-43, ushers them inside. Ob Ordeena stands. I am willing to pay you any reasonable amount." Ob Ordeena takes a drink of his Trandoshan blood. "I am sitting in the middle, my bounty hunters. On one hand, I am the loyal friend and advisor of Wyhl the Hutt. On the other hand, I am an ally of the renegade Hutts. In other words, my bounty hunters, I have both of their resources to work with. I do believe you will need ships for this assault on the Black Sun, the ships belonging to the renegade Hutts are at your disposal. As as the defense fleet that I have been provided with. I will call in more ship from Tatooine to protect me here." Just then, the copper-plated protocol droid brings Rane Scando to the entrance of the Baron Administrator's new head office. Scando enters, and takes a seat. "Rane Scando, glad to see you could make it. You and your companions are going to destroy the Black Sun for me."
  23. "You're here because I want you here. When I don't want you here, you'll know it. Believe me, you'll know it." Ob Ordeena smiles again. "As I recall, you were once quite the dancer..."
  24. Ob Ordeena closes his eyes and smiles. "You were nothing before me, remember that. You were a silly little girl wasting her life on Nastarine. You are what you are now, because of me."
  25. "Looks like the Black Sun is not going to last much longer. I bet you're happy that you chose the winning side from the very start." Ob Ordeena turns to TC-43, and nods. "Sure I can't interest you in some Trandoshan blood? It is not really fresh, but it still has that delightful taste."
